Hire David immediately! Made our ceremony so special
Live Guitar New England made our ceremony and cocktail hour incredibly unique and special. David Ross not only provided microphones to our officiant and reader/singer (so important for an outdoor wedding!) he also learned to play any song we asked of him. I had a special song in mind for my bridal entrance and David not only learned it, but played it soulfully and perfectly. Additionally, my husband's daughter chose a song to sing during our ceremony, so David worked with her on it, learned to play it, and made her feel extremely comfortable. The performance was a magical moment.
David also creates the perfect vibe for the cocktail hour. Since we chose to have a DJ for our reception, it was so special to incorporate an aspect of live music during the ceremony and cocktail hour. He really is a talented musician and consummate professional.

Excellent, highly professional musician
David was a pleasure to work with from the beginning planning stages through to the day-of coordination. He is highly organized and professional, hearing our goals for the day and offering suggestions, song lists, and sound bites to help us decide. We loved his repertoire and received so many compliments from our guests on his playing and professionalism. He was on the spot during the ceremony with the microphones for our officiant and readers. We were so pleased to have David play at our wedding and to have the beautiful element of classical guitar for the pre ceremony, ceremony, and cocktail hour. It was just lovely and so perfect. We highly recommend David for any event.

Excellent in Every Respect
My spouse and I cannot say enough good things about David. We retained David's services for our rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, and a cocktail hour prior to the reception. For the rehearsal dinner and ceremony, David played solo on his nylon-string classical guitar. For the cocktail hour, David went above and beyond by enlisting a keyboardist and bringing out his archtop guitar to create precisely the laid back, jazzy atmosphere we'd envisioned. (David also provided audio amplification for us and our officiant during the ceremony.)
From the moment we heard David play at the rehearsal, it was plain that we had made the right choice. He was able to transition effortlessly between classical guitar tunes, jazz standards, and twentieth and twenty-first century popular music. (David's repertoire is vast, to say the least, and we were blown away by his ability to learn and arrange for solo guitar relatively complicated tunes like the Jerry Garcia Band version of Shining Star. He also has an uncanny ability to capture the essence of a song typically played by a full, often-electrified band on solo acoustic guitar.)
Perhaps most impressive was David's ability to "read the room," so to speak. Not once did we feel the need to give David cues in one direction or another. He knew precisely when to begin playing, the proper set up of his audio equipment and volume of play, how to arrange requested songs in a manner that accentuated the most meaningful moments at our wedding without ever overpowering them, and the best direction to take our general, non-song-specific requests.
Lastly, David was a joy to work with. He was punctual in his communication, and he seemed just as happy taking the lead and providing clear, template-like structure (for those unsure about their musical preferences for an event) as he did allowing my spouse and I to pitch our own distinctive vision for the event -- a vision which he played an integral role in bringing to life.
Dealing with vendors during wedding planning can be stressful. I cannot think of a single time that David caused any stress. To the contrary, working with David was frictionless and lovely. I would recommend to all.

The Ambiance You Dream Of
There is nothing more lovely than your day turning out exactly as you imagined it. Our wedding day began with the most stunning guitar music to welcome our guests. Vermont Wedding Ceremony
We were recently married in Vermont and David did an incredible job with our ceremony and cocktail hour music. He was extremely professional and flexible. Our wedding was outside and he had all the amplification needed, as well as a mic for our officiant. He has a great, versatile list of music but was also very willing to add our song requests. Wedding Ceremony & Cocktail Music by David Ross
David did both our ceremony and cocktail hour music for our wedding which were fabulous. David played guitar for our ceremony, and he was able to play all of the songs we wanted without issue and it sounded fantastic. David had all the equipment and was an expert on how it worked as it all went seamlessly. He also provided the mic for our officiant which was so helpful and one less thing we needed to worry about.
For our cocktail hour, David had a band consisting of guitar, saxophone, drums and bongo drums. It was so great, and our guests loved it!
We communicated directly with David during the whole process which was very easy. We were between multiple songs for our ceremony and David provided expert advice on the vibe of each song and how they would flow. He was extremely knowledgeable and very kind and thoughtful.
All in all, working with David was great and I would hire him again!

Incredible Musician!
David was better than we could ever imagine for our wedding ceremony. He's an incredible musician, and he's too modest to advertise that he studied at the prestigious Peabody Conservatory... need I say more? While we were planning the wedding he was extremely responsive and even learned a very difficult piece at our request, which he played perfectly. We heard nothing but praise from our guests as well.

David Ross and his guitar is truly all you need!
David provided the perfect soundtrack for our wedding, covering everything from our specific ceremony requests to a beautiful blend of classical, Spanish guitar, and pop music during the reception. His arrangements were outstanding and added just the right tone. He was incredibly flexible, transitioning between songs flawlessly and smoothly pausing to accommodate speeches.
David's professionalism was also great—he's responsive, kind, and really took charge when needed. For example, he handled his setup seamlessly, finding the perfect spot for his mic and performance and providing us with tips (as he was already familiarity with our New Hampshire venue). Amazing Guitarist for our July 2024 Wedding!

Fabulous Musician for Wedding
David was helpful from the beginning with ideas for the type of music, song list, etc. He arrived to the venue and got set up well in advance so that we never had a worry. A fantastic experience
We couldn't of been happier having David performing at our wedding. His talents added such class to the ceramony and cocktail reception. The guest all raved about his song selections during the event and his professionalism. All the way through the wedding planing to the event, David worked with us and we knew it was an area of our wedding that was under control from the start.
While in the chapel, We couldn't of asked for a better entrance for the bride, or sound for the cocktail reception, it was beautiful.

An Incredible Talent
David is an exceptional musician. We booked David after finding him on Wedding Wire and could not be happier with his work! He was extremely communicative and professional and helped us to make our vision come to life. We got married on a hilltop and David arrived early to set up his equipment to play for our ceremony and got our officiant mic’d up so that our guests could hear her clearly. Then, after playing some wonderful cocktail hour music, David set up my guitar and a mic so that I could dedicate a song to my partner. He stayed and provided speakers to play a dinner and then dancing playlist from my iPad (which he also had backups of) and provided microphones for announcements and toasts. If you book David, I am sure that you will be just as floored by his kindness, talent, and professionalism. He was the perfect pick for our special day!

Extremely talented musician who goes above and beyond on your wedding day
David was so easy to work with leading up to our wedding. He was super responsive. He has a really large repertoire of songs to choose from. We had our wedding on a lawn next to a lake and he was able to set up there and even had battery power for his gear if needed. He is an extremely talented musician and can play any style, ranging from classical to modern. Perfect music, perfect day!
David was so amazing to work with and made our wedding day feel so incredibly special. The music he and his violinist Tara played for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner was absolutely beautiful — their performance was the thing our guests complimented the most at the wedding! They set such a beautiful mood, and I will remember the songs they played at different moments of the day for the rest of my life. They even learned requested songs for both our procession and first dance! David was such a calming and accommodating presence during the planning process and took into account our preferences along the way. He even went above and beyond, providing mics for our ceremony. Music is so important to me, and to have people as talented as David and Tara setting the tone for the day was such a privilege!

The BEST musician in NH!!!!!
David is an absolute joy to work with, other than being one of the best musicians I have worked with in my career. As a wedding planner who was getting married this past summer in Alstead, NH, we were on the hunt for the perfect person to create the specific, yet effortless vibe we were going for. A Pleasure to Work With
David Ross was a pleasure to work with and helped bring the musical vision of our wedding to fruition. He has an extensive song list and worked with us to create new arrangements to make our wedding ceremony incredible. Exceptional Ceremony Music
We are so grateful we found David to play at our wedding ceremony!
David was very easy to communicate with; his responses were always prompt and professional, and he was accommodating when we inquired about adding a cellist and violinist at numerous points throughout the process. David referred us to well-qualified, fantastic musicians (Rafael Popper-Keizer, cellist and Tara Novak, violinist) and facilitated the entire process himself. He was flexible about learning songs outside of his repertoire list and altering the arrangements as our date approached.
On our big day, David, Rafael, and Tara’s music was simply exceptional, adding a layer of elegance and magic to our ceremony that otherwise would not have been possible. It was absolutely beautiful, and he brought our vision to life. David also sent along drone footage that we are so excited about.
If I could give David 10 stars, I would. We highly recommend his services to any couple seeking ceremony music!

We hired David for our ceremony & cocktail hour music & I’m so glad we did! It was the perfect ambiance, made our ceremony feel so special. I cried immediately upon hearing our processional music. He had an amazing repertoire & offered to do an arrangement of something for us if it wasn’t on his list but it wasn’t necessary because there were so many good ones. We got a lot of compliments on the music & just how skilled he was at the guitar. He was very helpful & responsive answering all of our questions before the event & was able to work with our partially indoor/outdoor cocktail hour. I can’t say enough good things. We added David to our list of vendors late in the game. We were not planning to have live music, but it was probably the top 3 parts of the whole day. I would 100% recommend David. SO many guests had amazing things to say about his music. The music really made the day so beautiful.

You cannot do better than hiring David for your wedding. David was the perfect professional: incredibly talented, amazing range of musical abilities, gentle, calm, accommodating, reasonable price.
He found and coordinated with a pianist for us, accompanied my niece in singing a song, played a special song in honor of my grandma, and provided all the tech equipment.
Honestly, if we could have hired him to do absolutely everything at the wedding (except be the bride), we would have.
He brought so much talent, patience, understanding, ability, and great energy to our wedding!

I highly recommend David! He performed at our wedding pre-ceremony/ceremony and cocktail hour in Sugar Hill, NH. We told him our general music preferences, and he was able to curate a set list that matched our style perfectly. David truly does go above and beyond the call of service and his music made my day very unique and special.
David wore many hats on my wedding day, he was both the ceremony and cocktail hour musician and, upon special request, he was also the MC and he managed the sound set up for my playlist. He certainly did not have to agree to be the MC, but he was very gracious in accepting the role and he did such an amazing job and he made the reception run very smoothly. David's compositions for the ceremony were better than I could have imagined. Walking down the aisle really made my vision and dream for the day come true. A wonderful and personal experience
David is not only incredibly talented, but he is a consummate professional. His repertoire options are wonderful, and we were beyond thrilled that he was able to do a special arrangement for the bridal processional of one of my favorite Radiohead songs. I couldn't recommend him more strongly!!

David is very professional and responsive! He was great to work with and his music is beautiful! It was exactly what we were looking for. He has a wide range of music to choose from and offered to learn anything we wanted. He is very particular, organized and has great attention to detail. David brought mics for the officiant and speakers and made sure everything could be heard during the ceremony. David brought a keyboardist with him for the cocktail hour, which gave it another fun vibe. If you are interested in acoustic music for your ceremony and/or cocktail hour, we would highly recommend David Ross!

Talented and professional - highly recommend!
We could not have been more pleased with David’s services. He is incredibly talented and the ceremony music was absolutely beautiful. He even learned a song we requested and played it beautifully! He played a great mix for the cocktail hour and we received several compliments from guests. The mics and speakers he provided for the ceremony was an added bonus and much appreciated. Beautiful Acoustic Music & Great to Work With
David provided exactly the type of intimate music that we were looking for in our ceremony. He played a lovely assortment of songs that sounded great on our outdoor island location. David was great to work with in the planning phases as well and beautifully incorporated the song covers that we requested into the proceedings. I would highly recommend working with David for any couples who are looking for beautiful (and personalized) acoustic music for their wedding.

A truly amazing artist!
I found David by chance when scouring the internet to find a classical guitarist for our wedding to play in memory of my late father, who also played classical guitar. His recordings were amazing, but his live performance took our breath away. His talent and professionalism didn't go unnoticed by all in attendance. If you're looking for a special and intimate touch to your special event, we cannot recommend David enough. He is worth WAY more than he charges.
He will never fully understand how special it was to have him at our ceremony and cocktail hour. He is a true artist.

The Best Musician
We had David at our rescheduled Covid wedding 7/3/21 and he was absolutely the best to work with! From the start, David was very responsive, flexible with our rescheduling and gave great input but also listened. Leading up to the wedding he checked in especially surrounding the impending rain forecast. On the day of the wedding his performance/music at the ceremony and cocktail hour was perfect! My guests came up to me throughout the reception saying how “amazing” David was and the “best they’ve ever heard”. We are so happy and lucky that David made our special day even more special!

Everything about our experience with David was amazing. Most importantly, he is a spectacular musician. Our guests were universally blown away, and we haven’t stopped hearing the rave reviews. David was recommended to us by our wedding coordinator, and the recommendation was spot on. We hired David to play for our ceremony. I alway envisioned myself walking down to a specific song, and David made it happen. It was beautiful, dreamy and exactly how I pictured it. He also added songs to our list that was not necessarily on his song list. He was very professional, accommodating and very responsive. If you don't hire David, you're missing out!

Professional Musician and Perfect Music
We got married in August 2020 and I can't recommend David enough! He was so professional, accommodating, and ultimately MADE our wedding! His music was perfect for our outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour. Our guests loved his music! We were so happy and as the bride, I honestly didn't worry about his set up, music or anything because he was so responsive and answered any and all of my questions in advance that I truly felt like he had everything under control and he did! Especially during these times and navigating Covid-19, I felt truly lucky to find David and have him play at our wedding and learn our special song!

Made our ceremony perfect!
David was such an awesome addition to our wedding ceremony! From the initial outreach, my wife said he was easiest vendor to email with, giving great recommendations and advice as well as being super attentive and responsive. Come wedding day, I personally met David and he catered any and all requests we had. It was pouring rain, and David set up his gear with a smile, helping my sister and our uncles get situated for officiating and doing the readings. Finally, he can play so well!! watching back our video, I realized his beautiful guitar playing (the exact songs and style of those songs we requested) tied the ceremony perfectly together. Book David as soon as you can for your event!!!

Wonderful performance
David definitely gave our wedding the touch we wanted. He gave us a lot of flexibility as far as choosing which songs to play and we decided to just let him do his thing and play songs he felt were right, and he seemed to know exactly what songs to play in each moment of the wedding. We received high compliments on David from all of our guests. If you are looking for a high quality performance and a reasonable price I recommend going with David.

Outstanding acoustic guitarist for wedding

Best decision I made for my wedding!
I don’t know where to start with David because from the moment I emailed him to the day of my wedding he was so wonderful. An absolute pleasure to communicate with, he always responded to me quickly and was very accommodating. On my wedding day there were a few hiccups and David played through that making everything less noticeable and much smoother. He made my wedding day SO special and beautiful. My guests enjoyed every song and I got so many compliments and questions regarding him. I could not be more grateful to have found David and to be blessed in having him be a part of my special day.

Better than we imagined!
David is amazing!! We had such an easy experience from booking to selecting songs to execution on the big day. He made sure all his questions were answered far ahead of time so we had nothing to worry about on the day. Amazing amazing
David was AMAZING. So quick with responses and so accommodating. We had some unique and unusual requests for our ceremony (we wanted the Marvel Avengers theme song haha) and he was able to provide us with exactly what we wanted and it was the most amazing experience we could have asked for!! Our cocktail hour was beautiful and he is so talented and wonderful. I highly highly recommend!!!

Amazing Wedding Guitarist
We were so lucky to find David for our ceremony and cocktail musician. He provided exactly the right ambiance for both occasions as David is incredibly talented. Working with him leading up to the wedding was also so smooth and helpful. He guided us towards songs that work best with acoustic guitar (as I requested) and was so flexible for any question or request.
