Working with DaT's Event Planning was one of the best decisions I made. The level of attentiveness and professionalism was exceptional. We worked with the company as our "Month Of" coordinator. Even before there time to jump in the company was helping out tremendously. They made the flow of my entire wedding day so easy. I also received a lot of compliments from vendors about the effectiveness of how they ran the event. I had a grand idea of how my reception decorations were going to look, but with this companies added touch I could have imagined how beautiful everything turned out. We also had a tight schedule at our reception venue. There was a lot of different things we wanted to accomplish in just a short period of time. DaT's management of our scheduled events were superb. By the end of the event, everything we wanted to happen happened with time left to spare. I fiancé and I did not have to worry about anything! A+ top quality service at its best! I highly recommend working with this company. -

I truly believe that I would not have been able to pull off the wedding of my dreams without DaT's Event planning. Trina created a wedding script that helped keep everyone on the same page and she and her staff where there every second of the way to make sure everything went smoothly. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. We contacted many wedding planners in the Atlanta area, and found that DaT's Event Planning provided much more for our money. Thanks again for all of your help! -

BEST EVENT PLANNERS EVER. They did such a wonderful job with our wedding and people are still talking about it! Trina and her team nailed every detail I had hoped for and more. They also do great with taking an idea to life just by merely discussing the bones of what you're thinking! We purchased the “day of” coordinator ONLY package but they helped us with a lot of details even before the wedding day and we were extremely pleased. Dat’s Events Planning was friendly, helpful, responsive and very creative! My whole family would highly recommend Dat’s Events Planning for any event or wedding. We couldn't be happier with their service. They made our day stress free.

No amount of words can really convey my appreciation and thanks to Trina and her crew for making our wedding beautiful. We wanted a decorated that would provide beautiful design without breaking the bank. Trina was very patient and advised us on ways to have a beautiful reception with our budget. she responded immediately to question and work more that we paid her for.

I am a first time bride and had an overall picture of what I wanted but non of the details of how to get it done. I thought that I didn't need a coordinator and could do everything myself. Boy was I wrong! I had a vew vendors already, but Trina helped me to find the ones I did not have. Trina was there every time I called or emailed her with a question, and there were a lot of them!!! She made recommendations for every aspect of my wedding even those items that she was not directly working on such as catering and flowers. She gave me a range of options in decor that worked within my budget. She had a schedule for our wedding day and stuck to it, even coming up with alternatives when my Reverend was not on time. She was working behind the scenes all day and I'm pretty sure she put out fires that I did not even know about!! Trina, I truly do appreciate all you did in the planning/coordinating of my wedding!!! -

My 15th Anniversary ROYAL Celebration was an event that I knew would require a lot of money, time and expertise. Having done event planning on a corporate level, your personal event is one that you know how you want things to go and have a mind set that it is my way or no way. DaTs Events Planning was able to grab hold to the vision I had for the event and bring the vision to realty. Everything I envision and more was handled by DaTs. From the Ladies Luncheon, Information Meeting, Seamstress Appointments, Floral Consultations, Catering Selections, Rental Items ? EVERYTHING, was pretty much handled by DaTs. During the planning process, I got sick and had to go into the hospital. My anniversary was 1 week away and I remained in the hospital until the 2nd day before the big day. But during that time of rest, DaT?s staff handled all the final details and no one ever knew that I was unavailable for the finalization of the event. The day was wonderful. DaTs staff was by my side every step of the way ? I almost felt like a celebrity. They had me away from everyone so if anything was going wrong, I had no knowledge of it. We were very blessed to have had DaT's Events plan our wedding. Trina Simmons was such a HUMONGOUS help! She handled everything for me and also managed to keep me from losing my mind in the process. For example: On the day of my wedding, my florist "forgot" to deliver my 3 flower girl balls and she did not decorate my reception as she was paid to do. I'd also forgotten to purchase roses for the mothers. Trina had it all taken care of...in a quick minute. She and her team are wonderful. Just wonderful! -

I used this vendor in early 2012. She did a great job and I highly recommend her. The only drawback was that her daughter (bless her heart) to whom she brings with her on occasion was dressed inappropriately on the day of my wedding and I saw her head wrapped in a scarf in some of my pictures.

Trina is a true professional. This being both our 2nd wedding had us come across different things that we had never experienced before. There were some small issues with communication and that might have been due to my new wife and I doing a lot of things ourselves and being on a very tight budget. When it came down to rehearsal and wedding day she did her best to make it with out pain. There are some things with different vendors especially when they are family and friends that you can't just control. But Trina is a true professional. -

Trina at Dat's Events Planning is a wonderful person but I wasn't very happy with the service that was provided to me for my wedding rehearsal. Providing me with an experience coordinator for my wedding rehearsal was very important to me but I was given that because of schedule conflict on Dat's Events Planning side. I will add that I appreciate and like to say thank again Trina for jumping in when my candy coordinator had to cancel do to other obligations. -

Please don't book this wedding planner unless you plan to use only her preferred vendors. I purchased her partial planning services 10 months before my wedding. My experience was that partial planning for her means full planning for her client. She will send you monthly checklist that you are suppose to complete, but the majority of items on this list really are things she should be doing. In addition, if you choose not to use her vendors, which are businesses where she is clearly receiving kickbacks from, she will not make an effort to fully research or negotiate as stated in her contract any vendors you would rather use. For the last 5 months, I have planned my own wedding: secured all vendors that were within my budget and worked on my own decor. After 5 months of this I started to question, why was I paying a wedding planner. I decided to meet with her to discuss my concerns. However instead of her wanting to resolve the issue and try to improve her service, she was argumentative and was quick to void the contract rather than keep me as client. She willingly accepted 50% of her fees without fulfilling her end of the contract. When you meet her she will seem to be as sweet as pie and also very religious. Don't let the smile and prayer references fool you. Please heed my warning. Please take your business elsewhere. You are paying for wedding planning, you should receive what you pay for! P.S. I gave her 4 stars for responsiveness: she will answer your calls, text, and email. If thats all you need, she's your person. I needed someone to actually execute what needed to be done. -
