If you are thinking of hiring Dary for your wedding, just do it! She is amazing! She did a wonderful job on my hair & makeup. I had a diverse group of bridesmaids getting hair and makeup done with varying complexions and hair types, and she made everyone look amazing. She also did it all in record time & finished about 30 minutes early which was a blessing because it gave us time to relax before pictures started.
My makeup lasted all night long, through the rainstorm & sweating profusely. I had brought touch up makeup but never had to break it out. Highly recommend!

I am so happy with how my hair and makeup came out. Dary is so kind and i honest felt so comfortable with her. We were running behind due to a hotel room issue but she was so kind about it and worked with my craziness. We had our wedding outside and it rained but my hair and makeup lasted the whole day. i didn’t even have to touch up my makeup all night! Highly recommend

Dary will make you feel like a goddess
Dary absolutely killed it. I had her do my makeup and the two moms with little direction and every single person said they felt amazing. It was HOT. August. Rainy. Outside. And my hair never fell nor did my makeup ever melt. I have been in a million weddings and my hair rarely ever stays in place by the ceremony. My hair didn't move yet it was comfortable and loose and looked dreamy. In addition, her assistant did my husband's hair. He has long curly hair, and wanted braids into a bun. He showed her a picture just to give her an idea of the style of braid he wanted on one side, and she said "Oh, I can do it exactly like that" and she did it even BETTER than the photo. He kept the braid in for two days and I guarantee it would have lasted the full week. He's begging me to learn how to recreate so he can wear it all the time now. I seriously can't recommend Dary more. Her personality meshed so well with ours and she was so fun to work with. She even fixed a gnarly sunburn I got on my back. Don't hesitate booking her!

Dary was awesome. I didn’t even realize how Instagram famous she was until after I signed my contract. She was easy to work with and quick to respond to all of my messages. I had a destination wedding and it was easy to coordinate with her. Her apprentice and she were fabulous. I was so impressed with how great she was at color matching and making the skin full coverage yet light and Dewey, even on older skin. I told her my vision for hair and makeup and she far exceeded it all. I was nervous to look too glammed up but she nailed it. Hair and makeup lasted all night long.

Dary was kind and professional from day 1! The trial went well, and she made changes/recommendations until everything was just right.
Day of she was on time, and both she and the extra hair stylist she brought did a great job. My hair and makeup lasted the whole night despite it getting pretty hot and humid. Overall great experience, definitely glad I got to work with her!

Exactly what I wanted
Dary is such a sweet person! I originally only had me, 2 moms and 3 bridesmaids getting H&M done and about 2 months before the wedding I added another 2 family members last minute and she was so understanding and accepting of it! Her and her assistant did all of the girls H&M exactly how we wanted it! We all felt so so beautiful on the day of the wedding all thanks to Dary and her team!

I first contacted Dary after hearing and reading terrible reviews of the person I originally hired for the job. She was so sweet, my wedding was in the middle of her Christmas break and she came back from her vacation to help me and my bridesmaids that day. I looked and felt stunning, and so did my bridesmaids.
Furthermore, for my trial appointment, a week before the wedding I commented in passing that I wasn't at all happy with the highlights my current (or former at the time of this review) had done weeks prior to the wedding. She worked her magic and on my wedding day I was rocking the perfect ash highlights anyone could ask for. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Eres la major Dary!

What can I say about this amazing person that is Dary, it’s hard to put into words how amazing she is. She is the best in her field. Her talents are breathtaking, and she was more then a makeup artist that day, she was a friend to keep me calm during my big day. She was able to make me feel like a princess while at the same time make me laugh, crack jokes with me and become my unofficial bridesmaid. Her talents in hair and makeup are beyond amazing. My whole bridal group looked amazing, each time a girl was finished with their makeup we just had to scream “she’s a woman!” Because we were just so amazed at how great we looked! We kept getting compliments throughout the night, and all of our hair and makeup lasted ALL NIGHT after a lot of dancing. My biggest regret is not meeting Dary sooner. Dary girl I just want to say again, thank you for everything you do, thank you for being the amazing person you are and thank you to being a friend to 5 crazy girls and a crazy bride.

Due to the hurricanes my wedding date and location changed and she made sure to keep me on for it. Through the power outages and all the distress in Puerto Rico, she still responded whenever she could. I couldn’t have been happier with her work, my mom and sister looked stunning. As for myself I just gave her a rough outline of what I wanted, and she immediately got on the same page and made me look better than in my life. Everyone in the room was so comfortable with her, we laughed the entire way. If you want quality work and service wrapped into one, Dary is your girl. What can I even say? Dary was more than my hair and makeup stylist that day. She became my unofficial bridesmaid keeping me calm, reminding me of small details I needed to take care off, and making me laugh. She was amazing, and I am so glad I had her there that day. The hair and makeup was stunning, and lasted all night. At the beginning I was concerned that my hair wasn’t going to last all night in the humid weather of Hacienda Siesta Alegre. She reassured me that it was going to be fine and she was right, even the morning after the hair was still looking fabulous. My experience with Dary was the best I could ask for. After going through the worst nightmare 2 weeks before my wedding day thanks to an unprofessional makeup artist that I won’t mention because it’s not worth it. Dary came to save my day. With her schedule super busy she made the time for me. I could not be more grateful with her. On my wedding day I felt so at peace while she was doing my hair and makeup. I almost cried when I saw myself in the mirror. I looked perfect. My curls lasted the weekend. My makeup was perfect all night even with all the dancing I did. I highly recommend her. First off, I would like the say that Dary is so incredible at what she does! She is very prompt, knows her stuff about makeup and skincare! I can't truly express how beautiful she made my bridesmaids and I look on my wedding day. We looked soo good! Each girl had their own different hairstyles and Dary was able to create each girl's dream look with such ease and professionalism. Our makeup and hair lasted all night long! I felt like Dary wasn't just a MUA but she was such a huge comfort to have since she knew so much about what she was doing.

Dary Marie did an amazing job! I had a destination wedding, so we never meet for a trial. I emailed her my ideas and she did not disappoint. My makeup and hair were flawless. Dary Marie was great to work with! She was flexible with me having my trial the Friday before my wedding on Monday since I was not in the area before the week of the wedding. The trial was not really needed for her but more for me to be more comfortable with my hair and makeup because I do not usually have it done. It was gorgeous! It lasted well through the night even in the Puerto Rico heat! Makeup truely is an art and she layered in amazing ways. Since I am not used to makeup not wearing it much she did great with natural look for me. There were two other girls with hair and makeup and she got all of us completed pretty quickly. Great value and she came on location! She was great to work with!

Darin was wonderful from the very beginning. She responded to my emails in a timely matter with any questions I had. During the day of our wedding they arrived at our hotel on time and worked smoothly with all my bridesmaids and myself. They even finished about an hour ahead of time and squeezed in my niece hair and makeup last second. The airbrush was flawless on everyone and lasted the entire afternoon/night. We just got a sneak peek of our pictures and the makeup photographs beautiful! All the girls had pictures of how they wanted their hair and they came out just how they wanted. We couldn't have been happier with everything. I highly recommend them for the service and price you can't beat it.

Dary was amazing! I could not imagine having anyone else do my hair and makeup especially since I don't wear makeup on a regular basis. On my wedding day I received countless amounts of compliments and even my bridal party loved her work. Dary and her assistants were amazing and kept the fun vibe of the room going. They were all very fun to work with and be around. My 6 girls, 2 mothers, and flower girl all looked amazing. I truly could not be happier! All I know is if I am in PR again for another event I will be visiting Dary for any hair and makeup needs. Her work is truly perfect! She even comforted me when I was upset about leaving my dog behind for my wedding so, she is all around a genuinely nice person. I highly recommend her for any special event. Trust me you will not be let down. She even makes you look at yourself and will quickly happily make adjustments. My bridesmaid wanted something a bit more to her hair and Dary did it without a problem at all, which it very important. Her top concern is that you are happy with the way you look.
I know it is stressful to book your hair and makeup as feeling and looking your best is the most important on your special day and my hair and makeup was the last thing I booked as I am extremely picky and feared looking like someone I was not. A friend of mine recommended I look into Dary. From there I may have spent in total 5-6 hours going back and forth with her telling her what I did not want and my fears. Thank god she was extremely patient and did not tell me off. She was sooooo kind and pleasant and made sure I felt at ease. She was not pushy like other vendors to get me into a contract she just wanted to make sure I was happy with my choice. She really did not have to spend the amount of time with me the way she did but I was sure glad she did. Dary is just truly awesome and I wish she was in NY! She really has a talent like no other and loves/takes pride in what she does.

I was star struck when I finally met Dary. She came highly recommended and proved to be a super talented hair and makeup artist. Dary is a professional , flexible with such a sweet sweet spirit. She serves with excellence in all that she does and it is evident that she absolutely loved what she does! Dary goes above and beyond in keeping communication open and clear during the booking process and in the days before the wedding. Dary worked with me to coordinate a start date that met our needs on the day of the wedding. She was absolutely diligent in her work but showed flexibility as things popped up. I absolutely LOVED Dary and her work. I waited on a contract from another make up artist for over 2 months before having to panic and find a new make up artist, just weeks before my wedding. Despite having a busy schedule, Dary happened to have my day available and was very attentive and proffessional when I shared my concern from the last make up artist. She was very quick to respond, and send me all of the information that I needed. On my wedding day, she arrived early and got to work as soon as we had girls ready to go. She was very sweet and showed such enthusiasm for the looks that we wanted, and even when I thought something couldn't be done to my hair because of its texture, she did it! All of the ladies in my bridal party looked FLAWLESS throughout the entire ceremony and reception. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!

Dary is amazing! Planning for a wedding hair and makeup stylist from afar is tough (we had a destination wedding in Puerto Rico), but Dary made the process easy. She was responsive to inquires and helped us plan the "getting ready" timeline for the big day. I was nervous since I did not arrive in Puerto Rico in time to have a hair and makeup trial, but Dary blew me away with her skills on my wedding day. She was able to take the ideas I showed her and make them a reality. She also rolled with the schedule hiccups that day and made sure everyone was ready in time to leave for the wedding venue. I highly recommend, Dary! She is kind hearted and a skilled artist! You won't regret making her a part of your big day. :)

Many believe that your wedding day is the most important day of your life, and yes, I do truly believe that. You may have an amazing day, wonderful set up, flower and weather the way you wish but the one thing that you will carry for the rest of your life is how you look on your wedding day. Many years from your wedding day, you will look back at your photos and the first thing you will think about is the way you look. A picture worth a thousand word.
So make sure you are happy and content with the person you pick, with Dary you don't have to worry.
I felt like I have gained a friend through out this experience with her, she reply within minute, you ask her for one thing and she will do double for you. As a make up lover with high expectation I think Dary had exceeded more than what I wanted. Dary uses well known make up brand, she cares about how you look on your wedding day as much as you do and it show it! She have a passion for what she do and she love it!
Get yourself a Dary, a woman who can do both ( hair and make up).

Where to begin...obviously on your wedding day you want to look "perfect". While perfect is a relative and subjective term Dary brings you as close as possible to your vision and then completely blows you away with her attention to detail. I should probably mention that I had a hair stylists already booked for my wedding but had a trail three months out on a visit to PR and it was horrific....like, really bad. So three months before the wedding I'm out a hair stylist for myself and my bridal party....The stress set in and then like a fairy god mother I find Dary. She's responsive, provides previous work to review and has a killer personality to boot! (it's hard to have personality over email and after two exchanges I immediately wanted to be her friend). I immediately hired Dary and did happy dance at my work desk. Being 5 days before the wedding and a realist I thought "welp, if this doesn't go well... I'll have to roll with it". I met her the Wednesday of my wedding week for a trail and it was beyond my wildest dreams. If she hadn't quelled every fear I had at that moment she also blew me away and put me at peace before Saturday.
Dary did 7 bridesmaids and my bridal hair the day of I can't thank her enough. On the morning of the wedding Dary showed up on time, fully equipped and quite chipper. You don't realize on the morning of your wedding how the attitudes of those around you can really set the tone so I was so happy to have someone as cheerful as her around. Her professionalism and skill were evident as she started on my bridesmaids who all looked etherial when Dary was done. I couldn't wait to jump into the chair when it was my turn and surprisingly for someone with long and thick hair...she was done in 30 minutes and my hair stayed all day and night. Booking Dary will be the biggest gift you can give to yourself on the big day. Don't make a mistake and overlook her in the seas of WeddingWire - she's the real shining star!!!!

So what they don't tell you in the reviews and in the stories, is that your nerves are shot (stress, anxiety, countdown, etc.) when you're getting ready. Your mind can be all over the place, and your make-up/hair artist is there when all of this is happening. Dary was very relaxed, and definitely had a calming aura, which helped me relax as well. I'm sure you'll see in the other reviews that her professionalism and talent are exceptional. My hair and make-up were gorgeous. She did my mother's as well, and she looked amazing (10 years younger)! My hair/make-up plans fell through sort of last minute, and so Dary was quick to respond and get me booked with her, despite the short notice. Do yourself a favor, and book her. Her make-up and hair are as good, if not better, than the pictures you see posted here on her profile.

I am not sure if words can truly express how great I think dary is. She exceeded my expectations in every way and went far and beyond imaginable. From our first meeting, I felt so comfortable with her and I just knew she would be amazing! I decided to book her for my special Salon Clients and I have to say it was the best decision I had made. On the day of my friends wedding she showed up early smiling with excitement! Her bubbly personality and caring nature instantly eased my nerves. Not only did she do her makeup absolutely beautiful and flawless, She had my back like no other, making sure everything was right, fixed last minute problems. She was like a guardian angel watching over me. I couldn’t have dreamed of anything better than what she did. She is absolutely wonderful and has an amazing talent for what she does! My experience was super. Dary Marie is well known in the beauty industry and now I see why... She's very DYNAMIC and so TALENTED. I met her at Sephora stores, and I knew right away she was the ONEEE! At my wedding day, she did my makeup & hair and also my bridesmaids (she is REALLY quick!). A week before she did my hair coloring for my wedding and I was just Wowed too. Perfect Destination Wedding
Dary was quick to correspond with me, which was perfect as we had a destination wedding. SHe was polite and courteous, showing up perfectly on time and working around all the craziness of a wedding day in a hotel room. She worked quickly to give four of us exactly what we asked for. I asked for an up-do and the end result was exactly what I dreamed, it was a perfect replica of the sample pictures I provided.
She was very friendly and patient. She even sent over photos afterwards. I would highly recommend Dary Marie!
