We worked with Dart Collective for our Brooklyn wedding and could not have loved them more. There are a plethora of options in NYC for DJs but I’m so happy we went with Dart. They brought uplighting and were able to find a pianist to play our ceremony. It was so easy to plan every aspect with them - literally one stop shopping.I’ve been to enough bar mitzvahs and quinceañeras as a child to be permanently scarred by party DJs, but Dart is everything you want a wedding music team to be - effortlessly cool and completely dialed into the vibe and tone of the night. DJ Will absolutely crushed it. Weeks later, people are still telling us it was the best music they’ve ever danced to at a wedding. Our only complaint is that the party had to end. We’re already trying to think of excuses to throw another event just so we can hire them again. -

If you want to make sure that the vibes are right and the guests have fun, you should definitely work with Dart!!
They were super responsive and professional, listened to what we wanted, and connected us with the perfect DJ to match our vision (Eddie).
The communications and prep before the event made sure everything happened according to plan -- not a single moment of stress. They were timely, ready to go, and a true pleasure to work with.
We had the most fun, exciting, engaged, and lively dance floor for over 5 hours -- the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner also were perfect. I would 100% recommend them!! -

We went to a bunch of open houses while we were looking for vendors, and it always felt like the DJs were trying to make themselves loud and center stage, rather than being complementary to the main event. When we found Hayden with Dart Collective, it took us a few minutes to realize "wait, the music isn't in-your-face loud, but every track has been a banger."
The team was awesome to work with and was always willing to answer our questions. On the day of the wedding, Hayden and his assistant showed up and set up without any questions or fuss, just a quick hello as we were walking by. The music for every part of the event was perfectly matched to the vibe that we wanted, even when we didn't know what we wanted! We got a ton of compliments on the music from our guests, and the dance floor was jumping the entire event. Everything went super smoothly and Hayden really helped make our big day stress-free! -

We had very specific wants. We had specific playlists for the dj for dinner and reception, we wanted live singers for the ceremony and the happy hour. We wanted them to sing very specific songs. They not only hit every strange want we had, they exceeded our expectations. They also did it with the best attitude. Like happy to be a part of this wedding. They made us feel wonderful, the singers were exceptional, and the dj was phenomenal -

We are so happy we worked with Dart Collective for our wedding day. Our DJ, Sam Houdek, was absolutely incredible! He was so easy to work with, brought the most amazing energy to the day, and clearly loves his craft so much. He expertly cut our first dance for us, has awesome taste in music (and understood ours so well), and curated the perfect vibe for our reception and after party. WOW did Dart deliver. If you're looking for the best Djs around, this is it. Dani was our Dj and she absolutely KILLED IT. She knew exactly what to play at exactly the right moments, could read the crowd's energy, and set the perfect tone. Not only was everybody dancing the entire time, I had guests coming up to me multiple times to tell me that this was the best DJing/music they have ever heard at a wedding (people still tell me this, even months after). Dani was able to make sense of the disorganized playlists that I sent her and put together the most beautiful flow of music ever.
Music is one of the most important parts of a wedding, it truly sets the tone and environment - and we couldn't have had the wedding of our dreams without Dart. From the planning process through the end, we felt so supported. If you're thinking about Dart Collective, HIRE THEM - it'll be one of the best decisions you make. -

These guys are the real deal. Not just an amazing band, but also, incredibly collaborative, generous, and friendly. I had a band in college and wanted to do a couple songs with some of my bandmates and the rest of Dart Collective during my reception. I had a couple calls with Dart in advance to discuss options and during our sound check on the day, they were so helpful and professional, providing us with ear monitors and walking us through exactly how everything would work. We owe them so much for how beautifully everything went. Our reception was basically a concert. People can't stop talking about it. -

Cannot say enough good things about Sam and Dart Co. They were friendly and responsive from the start, and immediately got the kind of vibe we were going for. Sam incorporated our recommendations seamlessly and made some amazing selections that fit the evening perfectly. He was tuned into the crowd and kept the energy going from the first dance thru to the last song of the night. So many guests were coming up to us and raving about the music. Ben was amazing! He completely nailed the energy from start to finish - from setting the perfect mood during cocktail hour to absolutely crushing it on the dance floor. The transitions were flawless, and he read the crowd so well. It truly felt like he was part of the party, not just playing for it.
We’ve had so many guests tell us that it was one of the most fun dance parties they’ve ever been to, and that’s entirely thanks to Ben and Dart Collective. The music kept everyone - from our college friends to our parents - out on the floor all night long.

Wow. We are just back from our mini-moon and still can't get over how amazing DJ Brad and the Dart Collective team were at our wedding. If you want a party, HIRE THEM.
They absolutely CRUSHED it. Our number one priority was a fun dance floor, and they delivered beyond our wildest dreams. It was packed from the first song to the last. Our friends and family were dancing so much, everyone was having the best time. It was pure joy.
The music, the energy, the transitions... everything was flawless. They didn't just play a setlist; they read the room, understood the vibe we wanted, and kept the party going all night long.
On top of being amazing DJs, they were a total joy to work with. They made everything feel seamless and effortless, which is exactly what you want on your wedding day. We’ve had so many guests tell us it was one of the best parties they’ve ever been to.

My husband and I hired the Dart Collective for our wedding; we ended up booking a string trio (The Strings) and a jazz band (Grand Avenue Trio). From the start, the team was responsive, detail-oriented, and FUN to work with. Our wedding was inspired by an English tea party and was less of a "party" than most weddings. The bands and emcee absolutely delivered on the request with 0 issues. It was seamless! All the musicians were incredibly talented, the music was spectacular, my guests couldn't stop talking about how fantastic they both were. I will 100% use Dart Collective for any live music needs in the future, if I could leave a 100 star review, I would! -

We worked with Dart Collective for our wedding this past September and they were fantastic. The whole process was seamless from start to finish and the DJ they paired us with (Zeh) for our day was stellar. He made sure to play all of our requested songs, was technically great on the decks (we had a fair amount of songs with varying BPM's which can be tricky to transition), and he brought a ton of energy. Our guests could not stop talking about how much they danced --- highly recommend! -

Dart Collective was incredible for our Napa wedding. We booked a DJ + sax + horn section and they absolutely crushed it. The DJ nailed the vibe from cocktail hour through the last song—seamless transitions, perfect reads of the room, and zero cheesy chatter. The live horns brought the energy to another level; the sax and brass hits had the dance floor packed all night and our guests are still texting us about it.
Professional, easy to work with, and totally buttoned up on logistics—they coordinated with our planner, handled sound flawlessly, and incorporated our must-plays while keeping the flow electric. If you want a packed dance floor and a true “best night ever” soundtrack, book Dart. Could not recommend them more. -

We couldn’t be happier with our experience! From the very beginning, this team listened to our vision for a “nontraditional” wedding and brought it to life in a way that exceeded our expectations. We had three different locations throughout the day, each with its own vibe, and they seamlessly blended to fit the moment perfectly. We had a mix of services including live solo + guitar and DJ.
The energy was exactly what we hoped for, and every detail felt intentional, which I am sure is due to a part of their planning preparation. . The team was professional, flexible, and easy to work with.

Dart Collective truly out did themselves! Leading up to the wedding I was working with Sam and Marco (east coast team), and they were kind and efficient. I adore Dart's Music Map that they have clients send, because it was easy to follow but I could make edits whenever I needed without having to bother them with an email. The day of the wedding, we had Richie and Marco and boy did they bring the best energy! They were great at MCing, following all the notes my planner had for them, and played a great mix of our "must have songs" and other great songs that my guest truly never left the dance floor. I still being told by my guest how great they were, especially Marco's dance moves! I would Dart over and over again! -

You WILL NOT go wrong choosing DART for your next event’s dance party! Their style and attention to their brand speaks volumes of the product they provide and their vetting of DJs is impeccable. We worked with the DART team for our wedding in June and the process leading up to the day was fun and really helped make the music aspects of the wedding day seamless and easy.
We were most impressed with DART’s Music Map process through which they decipher who from the collective will be the best DJ fit for your event. After filling it out, we were assigned DJ Dave, and he truly delivered the dance vibe we were going for. We even had a call before the day to get a vibe check and he matched our energy perfectly.
All of our ceremony and reception cues were spot on and the entire day felt as though we had rehearsed everything multiple times even though we hadn’t. Dave had a great sense of timing and feel for the energy of our guests; managing to emcee through all speeches, dances, and dinner service with great ease. He turned our dance floor into a real party and didn’t drop the ball or have any trainwrecks in the process.
All said and done, we would choose DART again and again! Highly recommend! -

We had a fantastic experience partnering with Dart for our July 2025 wedding in Lompoc. I felt like they were one of the only music talent groups based in Southern CA that values quality music and production for events, and their repertoire of DJs, musicians and bands is a perfect example of this -- so much talent! Dart handpicked a DJ that best suited our vibe and style, which included a vinyl set up, and they were spot on. The audio quality during our ceremony was flawless, and this was one of our biggest priorities. They nailed it! Couldn't have asked for a better experience. -

From there, we were able to video interview two DJs to ensure a good fit. They have a seamless music map that lets you add songs for the DJ to review.

I normally don't leave reviews but my experience with Dart was so so incredible that I had to. I got married a few months ago and a huge point of tension was finding the write fit for someone to set the right vibe for our guests since I'm Mexican and my husband is American. We needed someone to "get" the right direction of songs we were looking for and Kyle did that and more. Truly one of our favorite moments of the wedding was looking at the booth and seeing him set the best vibe and energy not only with his song choices but just his energy in general. Truly special to have been able to work with him and his team for our special day. I CANNOT recommend them enough. -

Book Dart Collective for Entertainment at your wedding! You will not be disappointed. We were lucky enough to have Dart DJ our wedding and they made every step of the booking experience easy and fun. We were given a link to a Music Map that we could update at any time leading up to our wedding with Must Have's, Do Not Play, Cocktail Hour, Dance set's, Dinner Music and much more. You could also just upload your Spotify Playlist which was so cool. Our DJ, Ashley took the time to meet with us and learn all about what we wanted and she really took all that into account on our wedding day! Our guests were super impressed and have been asking for their info ever since. I cant wait to have a party and hire Dart to DJ again! -

Remarkable Full Service Wedding Music. Truly the Best of the Best
We had the most exemplary experience working with Dart Collective through our wedding. Every step of the way from planning to execution to world class performance, everyone at Dart that we worked with displayed an unparalleled level of professionalism, service, and true joy in helping our big day be exactly as we envisioned. From the beginning, everyone we spoke to at Dart was warm, kind and extremely detail oriented. Their online platform (allowing us to view all the bands and their setlist, as well as their customizable music map) allowed our input to be considered fully and we were able to adjust seamlessly if we changed our mind about anything. They have excellent communication through the wedding process, scheduling calls to hear how we’d like the flow of the entire evening to go, and they work seamlessly with the venue and the wedding planner so all of the logistics are handled on the day without any hiccups or hitches. And then of course the music. Superb. Our band, The New Design, was simply magnificent. We have not stopped getting compliments for their incredible artistry, energy, malleability playing different genres, and connecting with the crowd. They were better than we ever could have imagined. They learned our unique first dance song and played it exactly how we wanted it. Absolutely nailed our big moments throughout the night and were so kind to all of our guests. We also arranged for an afterparty DJ through Dart, and he was every bit a hit among our guests, keeping the party going and upping the energy as the evening went along. Based on reputation and proficiency, there is simply no one else working in the wedding space right now more adept and worthy of recommendation than Dart Collective. -

Highly recommend Dart Collective and DJ Vinny! Everyone at Dart Collective is so lovely, and they made the process of hiring a wedding DJ stress-free.
Vinny crushed his set, perfectly blending multiple music genres to get all ages on the dance floor, and then really let it rip for the late-night portion! He had also worked at our venue before (The Holly Farm in Carmel Valley), so the logistics of set up, and what he needed for timing, announcements, everything was seamless!

Dart Collective was truly incredible. As someone who’s very detail-oriented (read: I had notes about exact song start times and transitions…), I had high expectations—and they absolutely delivered.
From the ceremony violinist learning new songs I requested to the last dance, everything was perfectly timed, beautifully performed, and exactly the vibe we hoped for: elegant, fun, and full of heart. Ashley and the band members brought the BEST energy. Sam was so responsive and organized throughout the planning process—it made everything feel effortless on the day-of.
We’ve gotten so many compliments on the music and overall energy of the night, and I’ve already been recommending Dart to friends. They were such a big part of what made the day feel unforgettable. -

Firstly, they were so easy to work with leading up the wedding. Super clear, communicative, and organized—which made for stress-free planning.
Zeh, our DJ, is extremely talented. He brought great energy to the night. The dance floor was packed the entire time (so full at times that the dancing spilled off the dance floor onto the carpet of the venue). We had SUCH a blast and got so many compliments on the music.

I don't even know where to begin. We had the absolute best experience with Dart Collective, and White Noise specifically, at our wedding! From start to finish, they brought such an incredible energy to the night--our guests are still talking about how amazing the music was and how vibey the dancefloor felt all evening long. The entire team during the planning process was incredibly accommodating and professional, especially given the strict noise ordinances and timing restrictions at our venue. Even with those limitations, the band and DJ delivered an unforgettable performance. The vocalists were phenomenal...every part of the evening was elevated by their talent, from cocktail hour to our first dance to the final song of the night. Special shoutout to DJ Kyle, who kept the momentum going seamlessly between sets. His transitions and song selections were perfect and kept the dancefloor packed. The entire band and DJ just got the vibe we were going for, and executed it flawlessly. A huge thank you as well to the amazing sound tech staff, who made everything sound incredible throughout the night. And we're especially grateful to Jesse Kivel and Jack Guimon for their support and coordination in the lead-up to the big day. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care made all the difference. I was lucky to thank the band in person at the end of the night, but truly--White Noise made our wedding unforgettable. It was one of the biggest highlights of the day. We worked with Dart Collective on our bicoastal wedding celebrations in both Los Angeles and Jersey City, NJ in October 2024. It was a fantastic experience! The whole team was incredibly kind and accommodating throughout the ~1 year process from quote, booking, and logistical planning to the days-of. We knew that their large roster across multiple cities would make for a good fit with our dual events, and the vibes were a great match too. Their music map webpage was really easy to use and made us excited to pick our tracks. Pricing was fair and without any surprises. Though not eye-poppingly expensive, we were comfortable with spending a little bit more to get Dart’s really, really great service and smooth handling of the many shared elements between the two events, rather than having to deal with two unaffiliated DJs both coming in cold.
Putting aside the dual cities thing - both individual DJs (Misha Hercules in LA and Richie Quake in JC) were fantastic! They set up and broke down on schedule and without help, perfectly executed our entrance cues and announcements, played all the songs we wanted to hear, kept the dancefloors active with smooth transitions, and worked well with our day-of-coordinators to direct traffic as needed without talking too much. We had some out-there requests and all were fulfilled perfectly.
From Misha and Richie in the booth, to Chris, Schuyler, Sam H. and Sam J. in the office, everyone was sincerely kind, competent, and upbeat. We love Dart and will recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing DJ with great service. Thank you! Julian & Mae -

My experience with Dart for our wedding in The Berkshires was nothing short of amazing! My husband wanted a DJ and I wanted a band, Dart had an incredible solution - a DJ with a trumpet & sax! It was really the best of both worlds, we could play a wide range of music and have the energy of a live band! Sam was great to work with, I felt like he really understood what we wanted and certainly delivered! The music was perfect from the cellist who played during the ceremony, the Bossa nova music during cocktail hour and then the reception.. everyone was on the dance floor, they did a great job of catering to all the people there - all ages & from different countries. We’re so happy we were able to partner with Dart and would definitely work with them again! -

Our wedding this November ended with a country disco themed after party, DJd by Sam H from Dart Collective. Not only was the set list amazing, but Sam absolutely leveled up the experience with his energy (and attire!) Leading up to the event, he was incredibly receptive to our playlist requests, even last minute ones to incorporate a line dance. At the end he turned up the energy even more with an EDM/dance music set, demonstrating his ability to work seamlessly across genres. We couldn’t recommend Sam and Dart Collective more, and can’t wait to use him again in the future. -

Hiring Kat from DART Collective for our NYC wedding was one of the best decisions we made. We were easily able to make song selections and be as specific as we wanted. Kat and Sam got to know our style and took our directives, while at the same time leaving room for spontaneity on the day of the event.
The cadence was perfect and served as the most amazing backdrop for our party. Her style was relaxed and made the whole vibe feel upscale and effortless. Music was perhaps the highest priority for us in our wedding planning process, and early on we already knew we would have a somewhat unusual setup. We booked our favorite local band to play the wedding and unlike the usual wedding band they were going to play a shorter set and didn’t have their own sound equipment.
So, we were thrilled when we found out that DART could handle not only the sound but also help find us a DJ who could complement the band and keep the dance floor going all night long.
Just to throw another wrench in the works, we decided a few months before our wedding that we wanted a pianist for the ceremony as well, with a specific repertoire we wanted them to play and special attention to certain cues during our processional. DART quickly found us someone who could handle the task.
So to recap, we had a full stage setup for the band, a DJ playing in multiple locations, and a pianist playing on a battery-powered PA alongside our ceremony sound setup, and we were able to do this all under a single contract with DART.
On the day of the wedding they executed flawlessly, and we absolutely loved our DJ, Angelo. DART lets you fill out a detailed “music map” to help guide the vibe throughout the day, and Angelo picked up on our cues and added a few twists of his own that kept things fresh and kept the dance floor packed, which was everything we could have asked for. We intentionally steered away from some of the wedding dance floor standards, and he found the perfect balance of finding a unique sound while keeping the crowd excited.
If you have a complex sound/music setup for your wedding, I can say that DART is probably more than capable of whatever you want to throw at them. We got compliments from our guests on every aspect of their work (including one guest who remarked that it was the best sound system they’d ever heard at a wedding) and we love listening back to the dance floor playlist they sent us shortly after the wedding. Amazing music vendor for our wedding, we highly recommend going with Dart collective. One of our top priorities for our wedding was good music. Dart Collective came through with flying colors and made sure everyone had a blast. They were excellent at following our music map, and building upon it. In fact multiple guests came up to us throughout the night and after the wedding to compliment us on the music/DJ for the cocktail hour, dinner, and of course the dance floor after the reception.

Holy cow - Dart Collective was the BEST DJ experience we've ever had - and luckily it was for our wedding! Music is very important to me and my husband. We have very specific tastes, and more importantly, we had a very specific DO NOT PLAY list. We are so happy we went with Dart for our wedding. They actually listened to us and took all of our considerations and requests to heart. Not only that but they are just so cool! They set up a zoom call with our DJ, Zeh, about a month before and it was so nice to meet him and chat before the big day. We also went with the solo sax player for 2 hours which was a HUGE hit! Music was everything to us, and when we pivoted from our plan of having a live band, I knew we needed an amazing DJ. I had already saved Dart Collective on Instagram, so when they were on our venue’s (SmogShoppe) recommended vendor list, I knew I had to reach out. It was one of the easiest tasks to check off our list, and every interaction was seamless and easygoing.
We had our DJ Paul for the entire event – from pre-ceremony to dancing – and he absolutely nailed our vibe. We gave him a lengthy song list on our mind map, allowing us to hear our favorite songs while allowing him to craft perfect song choices, transitions, and flow. The energy on the dance floor was exactly what we hoped for, and people came up to us all night saying how incredible the DJ was. It felt like they really understood our vision and brought it to life. I would work with Dart Collective again in a heartbeat! -

We hired Dart for our wedding in Cabo in the Spring.
We went with the 3-piece horn band and DJ, and they were amazing! Many of our guests even told us it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to. We attribute a lot of that to Dart!
The entire process was easy, and their service was top-notch. Our wedding was nearly postponed due to a family health crisis, and Dart was accommodating in helping us explore our options. Fortunately, we were able to continue with the wedding as originally planned.
We provided a bunch of playlists in advance, and they paired us with a great DJ. Phil and the horn section killed it with a funky set that kept our 180 guests of all ages and music tastes dancing all night.
At 10, we transitioned inside to an “after party” with more of a disco/house vibe, and Phil switched it up like a pro.
I work in music and used to be a DJ myself. My wife and I have a very eclectic music taste, and I could not be more critical. These guys knocked it out of the park. If you are considering hiring Dart for your function, they are worth every penny, and I cannot recommend them more highly.
We also hired a solo performer to soundtrack our walk down the aisle and play for our guests during cocktail hour. He was great as well! -

From the beginning Dart was extremely responsive and professional. They provide a form for you to fill out to get a sense of your taste. After that, we were able to have a quick call with our DJ, Jordan, to go over our vibe and any musical cues, announcements, and specifics.
Jordan really understood what we were going for and provided his own suggestions beforehand. We were so happy with the final result and have gotten countless complements on the music at our wedding. Could not recommend Dart enough. -

This company is phenomenal. Our DJ, Phil, brought REAL records for his DJ set at our wedding and played all the songs we wanted plus some songs that were in the same genera. They were not the boring/typical DJs that are seen at weddings usually, the set up is cool, the mixing is top notch and the sound was perfect. We had a wedding of over 135 people and not a single person had anything bad to say about the DJ. 10/10 would work with them again. Go Dart go! -

I think the included picture of my wife's uncle on the dance floor at our wedding says everything you need to know when it comes to booking Dart Collective! Our main goal for our wedding was to be a big, fun dance party for us and all of our guests (I love to dance at weddings) and Dart Collective helped make that a reality!
We were originally drawn to Dart Collective, after a recommendation from our wedding and interacting with their booth at a vendor open house, because we had the idea of our favorite Talking Heads song being played by a string trio as we walked down the aisle, and Dart's The Strings group already had the song in their repertoire! Once we got chatting with Schuyler and Jesse (and later Boon), who were all super helpful during the entire process, we booked Dart for both the string trio and our reception DJ.
Ahead of the wedding, Dart Collective shared a "music map" living document for us to fill out with our music tastes and must-plays and so on so that they'd already have an idea of what we wanted well before the wedding day. The Strings played from invitation time through the ceremony and cocktail hour and our guests were VERY impressed with them. then the DJ Lucy took over for the dinner and party, keeping everyone dancing almost the entire time. All of them were amazing and did an awesome job. We and our families and our guests all had the time of our lives, largely thanks to Dart Collective. -

Sam and the whole team were a dream to work with.
I'll break down why:
* They took our date very quickly. We were late to inquire, and after a great chemistry call, they locked it in within the week.
* Had a reasonable rate and worked with us to make it happen.
* Their interface for sending references and preferences was easy and integrated, and most importantly WORKED. Our songs got played perfectly on the day.
* Used our inspiration and built on it in a way that made the dance floor electric.
* Gracefully avoided requests, but allowed the ones we wanted.
* Came with 3 set ups, so all our locations were pre-set up in every location.
* Zero feedback, awkward "is this thing on" moments, or struggling to hear speakers, even when they're bad with holding the mic.
From the music, to everything in between, you can't go wrong. We triple-bid the project, and Dart was easily our strongest choice. -

Dart collective brought down the house for my wedding! Seriously our guests could not stop talking about how cool and vibey our DJ Cory + our wicked awesome 3 live musicians were! If I could rate them 10 stars I would! Cory was so cool, easy going, and he was the EXACT DJ I was hoping to have for our wedding and the Bongo man was going wild it was THE BEST! Dart DJ is a vendor who we will recommend to ANYONE who is getting married. I have been to weddings before that have cleared out early because the "DJ" was either playing music that was not part of the wedding vibe or was loud and in the guest's faces. Dart DJ is NOT one of those DJs.
Dart works with the couple to understand both their music preferences, the desired vibe of the wedding and then seamlessly puts together a night of music that fits the moment - from the processional to the final song of the night. Dart met with both of us to learn about us as humans, they built a relationship with us before the wedding so we were all familiar with each other the day of the wedding (even though we have a wedding planner).
Everyone after the wedding was raving about how amazing the music was at the wedding. Thank you Dart DJ and Andrew for making our night so perfect and giving our guests a night to remember. -

For our wedding earlier this month, having reliable sound for the ceremony and good music for the reception was one of our highest priorities and Dart absolutely delivered. We gave their team the task of creating a classy/eclectic vibe for our cocktail hour that transitioned (smoothly) into a mid-2000s dance party by the end of the night, and they delivered with flying colors.
