  Engagement/Proposal Review

  I can't speak highly enough about Darshana and her incredible team! They were an absolute joy to work with and truly captured the magic of our engagement party and proposal in a way we will cherish forever. From the very first interaction, Darshana's professionalism and passion for photography were evident. She took the time to understand our vision, and her creativity and attention to detail were exceptional throughout the entire process.
  
  On the big day, Darshana and her team were not only highly skilled but also incredibly discreet, capturing every special moment without us even noticing they were there. They managed to perfectly balance candid shots with beautifully staged moments, resulting in a stunning collection of photos that really tell the story of our celebration.
  
  The final images are absolutely breathtaking — vibrant, natural, and full of emotion. We couldn't be happier with how they turned out, and we've received endless compliments from friends and family.   The photographer in my area

  If you are looking for someone who will fill these criteria’s… “stunning," "breathtaking," "exceptional," "meticulous," “and "goes above and beyond." Dars photography is your place. Her whole team is phenomenal I used her for my engagement, wedding and now I will also be using her for my baby shower. She is amazing. I would highly recommend her to anyone if you want great quality photos!

  Engagement Shoot Bliss

  We had the opportunity to work with Darshana and her team for our engagement ceremony and party. Her team showed up with excitement, professionalism, and unique ideas to capture us enjoying one of our favorite days with family. They felt like a natural extension of our guests. While my fiancé and I are not experts in front of the camera, Darshana and her team made us feel very comfortable and walked us through a variety of poses and options for shots. We were ecstatic when we were received our final gallery and we cannot recommend them enough to future couples and families.

  Exceptional Photography!

  We’ve had the pleasure of working with Darshana & Manisha twice, once for our engagement party (December 2023), and again for our Sangeet, Wedding, and Reception (August 2024). They are outstandingly professional and exceptional at capturing emotion in their photography. Not only are they easy to communicate with, punctual, and work with ease, they provide an incredible value - delivering beautiful, artful, and high quality photos at an affordable rate. They have an incredible talent for capturing special and candid moments, and we have loved looking through our photos and reliving the magic of our wedding events.

  Talented & experienced photographer

  We had the absolute pleasure of working with Darshana & her team for our wedding, and we couldn't be happier with the results! From start to finish, the experience was seamless, professional, and truly memorable. Darshana was incredibly easy to work with—always prompt in responding to our questions and proactive in planning for the big day. She had scheduled multiple calls prior to our big weekend to get to know us and our vision for the weekend. We also did our pre-wedding shoot with DARS Photography and couldn't be happier with the results. Overall, the photos are stunning! Darshana has an incredible eye for lighting, composition, and angles, which made each shot feel unique and personal to us.

  A Dream Team for Our Indian Wedding

  We had the absolute pleasure of working with the team at DARS Photography for all of our Indian wedding events, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the experience and results! From our engagement shoot to the pre-wedding photoshoot, and every single event—Sangeet, Haldi, Wedding, and Reception—the team at DARS Photography was nothing short of phenomenal.

  Highly Recommend Darshna & her team

  Dars photo did amazing job for our pre wedding photoshoot and wedding festivities. They are so nice and humble. Darshna and Bhavin are amazing and easy to work with. They made our wedding photography so much easier. They even traveled away from our wedding location for first look photoshoot despite of weather issues. Night before our wedding, weather got really stormy, and Darshna and her team managed to go through it all to show up on time next day. I truly appreciate their cooperation. They captured all amazing moments and our families can't stop talking about our wedding picture. I highly recommend them to capture your lifetime moments!!!!!! Thank you Darshna & Bhavin.

  Excellent Photography and Experience

  Darshana and her whole team were so much fun to work with! Their work is absolutely beautiful, professional, creative and captured such amazing moments throughout our events. From our pre-shoot to our reception, they captured such amazing moments of us and our families. Our goal was to accentuate the vibrancy of our formal wear and personality all in one. The whole team made us feel comfortable and made it feel as if they were part of our own family. In addition, they had such amazing communication, showed the highest level of professionalism and were always on time if not before. We had shown our families the pictures and they were in absolute awe. From capturing shots of us being silly to teaching us how to pose seriously (because my husband and I are super giggly). I cannot EMPHASIZE more on how much I recommend them! Their pictures will also bring you in awe. Thank you DARS Photography for everything!

  Fantastic Wedding Photographer

  We were incredibly blessed to have Darshana capture the special moments of our wedding. She was simply phenomenal. She quickly understood our dynamic as a couple and found ways to set up unique and personable shots that represented our chemistry. She was always in the right place to capture each moment and coordinated perfectly with our videographer and all family members. To top it off, she was incredibly professional, flexible, and patient with everyone, and went above and beyond to make our wedding day special. She snuck us out of our reception to make sure we got perfect shots on Michigan Avenue and constantly helped me with fixing my hair and dress, even when she wasn’t looking for a shot. She is truly skilled and creative, and we couldn’t have asked for a better photographer.

  An Amazing Experience!

  No amount of stars justify how amazing her work is! Darshana is an all in one package! She is a very positive and sweet person who loves what she does. Her work and photographs speak for itself. Darshana was one of the first photographers we met with as we were looking for someone for our wedding weekend and we knew right away we wanted her as our wedding photographer. She is honest and knows what will and will not work and is very flexible with what we were looking for. We had no idea what kind of poses we were looking for but Darshana was very creative. Darshana and Manisha are an amazing team and we could not have been happier to have chosen DARS photography to capture our wedding weekend. They started off as our wedding photographers but now have become like family!

  Having Darsh at my wedding was a great experience. She was professional, responsive and very easy to talk. She made the environment free of stress and took great photos. I would definitely recommend Darsh photography to others.

  Great Experience!

  Darshana and her team were hands down one of the best vendors to work with! We started off with our e-session with her and Manisha. We were nervous about it, but Dars & Manisha guided us and we felt at ease afterwards knowing moments from our wedding weekend would be captured perfectly.
  
  From the beginning, Dars was very responsive and straight forward which we appreciated. She is personable, talented, and has an eye for details. She also is respectful of any ideas you want to incorporate as well. It’s been about a week from our wedding and we’re already seeing quality being delivered with some photos she has shared us - we can’t wait to see the rest!
  
  Overall, she is very responsive via text/email, prompt, and flexible which was helpful with all the chaos that comes with wedding planning. We would highly recommend her!

  Excellent and outstanding experience!

  5 stars is an understatement for DARS Photography and Ms. Darshana's services!!! Ms. Darshana, owner and lead photographer of DARS Photography, and her lead photographer Ms. Manisha covered my wife's baby shower event, which we hosted three weeks ago at The Seville in Streamwood, IL. Our baby shower event required a lot of planning since we had a very big celebration (i.e. close to 400 people), and even had a live musical band & a popular singer perform as part of the entertainment program. As part of the planning, my wife and I did A LOT of research on all vendors we had hired for our event, including photography services. After doing our due diligence, we hired DARS Photography for photography services, and I can say with absolute confidence that it was the best decision we made! Ms. Darshana was everything you would want in a photographer. From our initial conversation to event day and even after, her service has been outstanding! She is prompt in picking up calls & sending texts and emails. It is extremely obvious that she really cares about her clients. You never feel rushed talking to her. She takes the time to understand and listen to your event day requirements. Professional, knowledgeable, reliable, and courteous are just a few words that describe her. She is passionate about photography and her attention to small details is absolutely incredible! For example, there were a number of times, where before taking pictures, Ms. Darshana made sure that everyone was posing properly, my mom and my wife's saris were the way they should be, there were no obstructions, and everyone's eyes are on the camera. I remember one time we were taking table pictures, and I looked away for a split second, and she signaled right away to look at the camera. It's amazing when you encounter a photographer, who, amidst a crowd of 400 people, can cover an event so professionally and with such confidence. We received our final pictures a few days ago and all of her and Ms. Manisha's hard work is very evident in the pictures! When you can re-live your entire event through pictures, you know your photographers have done their job with excellence! There were so many pictures that were captured so naturally that my family and I were wondering how and when these pictures were even taken. Normally, I don't take the time to write reviews, but I told Ms. Darshana after the event, even without her asking me once, to tell me where I can post a review because her work truly deserves it. I highly recommend DARS Photography and Ms. Darshana for photography services. I apologize for the lengthy review, but I just wanted to take the time to express my sincerest appreciation for her work and also to let potential future clients know that if you're looking for a photographer to cover your event, look nowhere else! I'll be letting my family and friends know to hire Ms. Darshana and leave the rest to her, they will not be disappointed! Thank you again DARS Photography, Ms. Darshana, and Ms. Manisha for making our event very special! It was a pleasure working with you!
