Kristen was just fabulous to work with from the very beginning. She was so responsive to my messages and patient as I found the right vendors for me. Our first phone call left me very excited and at ease, knowing I had a makeup artist who actually cared! I was so impressed after my trial, at the amount of detail and time Kristen spent with me. She took notes of everything I liked, and tried a couple different styles of eye looks on me as well. Something I really appreciated, that many MUA or Hair Stylists do NOT do, is about 3/4 through my trial, Kristen asked me to take a look and see how I was liking things, and what I might want to change. Instead of just waiting until the end and then saying to me before I can even decide for myself, "Omg don't you love it!?" The way she approached the entire process made me feel so comfortable. My wedding day was amazing with her. She was early, so calm, and did beautiful makeup on all the girls. My makeup lasted through many tears, dancing (it was a hot July day!) and stayed all night long. Thank you Kristen!!!Daring Young Red's reply:

The best professional makeup experience
Kristen is an absolutely an absolutely amazing makeup artist, with a heart of gold. She does absolutely stunning work, while also proving a caring and calming presence that is typically much needed on the morning of your wedding! She thinks of everything, from helping you with your pre-wedding skin care routine, to bringing dark circle correcting facial pads for all of your girls the day of. Through the process of working with Kristen for your wedding, she becomes more like a friend than your makeup artist, and it is evident how much she cares about her clients by the beautiful work she does. Seriously look no further for a makeup artist, hire daring young red for an amazing experience!Daring Young Red's reply:

Kristin did my bridal make on my big day. She was absolutely amazing during the trial as well as on my wedding day! She really took the time to get to know me and knew exactly what I wanted. She spent 2 hours with me during my trial and went through all my thoughts and suggestions in a very professional way. She also convinced me to try false lashes on my wedding day and I am so glad she did! I could not feel that they were on but they added extra oomph! I can't wait to go back to her for a facial. Working with Kristen from my first consultation to the day of my wedding was such a great experience. Not only is she extremely talented and experienced in the makeup industry but she is also very professional and easy to work with- you can truly tell she has a passion for what she does. Kristen is wonderful and made me feel so special and beautiful each time we spoke. I could not be happier with how my makeup turned out on my wedding day and I know my bridesmaids felt the same way with their looks as well.Daring Young Red's reply:

Ladies, look no further. You NEED Kristen for your makeup. Just through my make up trial, I could feel how much passion she has for what she does and how deeply she cares for her brides. She makes it very clear that she is there to not only enhance your beauty but make you FEEL that way too. She has such a positive aura and is nothing but good vibes. She studies your face like a canvas and her airbrushing is miraculous ---- I cried SO much that day and even at 2am when I'm standing in line for a hoagie at Jim's Steakout on Chippewa, I still looked great!Daring Young Red's reply:

She’s professional and punctual, communicative and thorough, kind and genuine, thoughtful and sweet, and has calming aura with a great attitude, and incredibly flexible. Beyond that, Kristen is a beautiful human whose open and has a huge heart. At her core, she’s made to help people feel the best selves in their own skin with makeup and her presence.

Danielle Sent on 03/02/2018Kristin is amazing I took word of mouth from multiple brides! I have never had more beautiful makeup in my life. She was good at listening and recommending the best options for color coordination. My mother looked so young, my family looked gorgeous , my wedding was amazing. Her response was timely , she texts to better be able to get a hold of me (my preference) even though she was from Rochestor and me being from Buffalo she did the Best possible job to keep me happy on my big day. I recommend her to anybody with ANY type of event. She is wonderful. The makeup is light and organic (not heavy and overdone) I had airbrush and false lashes , it looked all natural and was easy to remove and long lasting all night through our warm September summer. I have SUPER sensitive skin (breakout in hives) and I was nervous without a trial but the makeup was amazing quality.

Lyndsey Sent on 03/25/2018Kristen is not only an amazing makeup artist, but an amazing person inside and out. She is so thoughtful, caring, calm, professional, and does a fabulous job! From the moment I reached out to her to my trial to the big day, Kristen was easy and quick to communicate with, able to answer all my questions, and very flexible. Planning my Rochester wedding from Michigan was no easy task but Kristen made the process enjoyable. I don't wear much makeup and wasn't sure what I wanted. Kristen walked through my Pinterest board and explained everything to me about the process and the effect that different techniques have. During my trial, we started simple and kept adding until I felt comfortable with the amount of makeup. On my wedding day, I threw her a curve ball and decided I wanted what one of the other girls was wearing. She was able to adjust and it came out perfect! I got the airbrush and it was very lightweight, flawless, and lasted all day! On my wedding day I still felt like me, just more beautiful and enhanced. Kristen was able to do 5 bridesmaids, 1 mom, and myself in 5-6 hours. My bridesmaids loved their make up too. I am so happy I found Kristen and would recommend her to anyone!Daring Young Red's reply:
