LD is a special person, she has such a sweet caring soul and it showed during our ceremony. From the beginning the planning process was easy and straight forward; but also personable and unique. She made my husband and I feel so comfortable during the ceremony and she also did an amazing job engaging our families and guest. She received so many positive compliments from our guest after the ceremony. She now holds a special place in our hearts and created a ceremony we will never forget! -

When deciding on an officiant it was important for us to have a deeply meaningful ceremony. After some searching, we found L.D. from Daring Celebrations and Ceremonies. We loved how bubbly, engaging, and warm in nature she is. She is a beautiful story teller. When she walked us through the ceremony, we loved how she incorporated all of our wishes. Following the wedding, we had many friends and family members compliment us on the ceremony - how much they enjoyed it and how they loved L.D. We were so grateful for all of the work L.D. put in to make it the ceremony of our dreams. -

We could not have imagined a better person to officiate our wedding than LD! She is truly magnificent and knows how to captivate an audience. When we first spoke with LD, we knew that we were in such great hands and that our ceremony would be one everyone would remember. One thing I wanted was to be sure everyone attending our wedding, whether they’ve been around since the start or if they’re a newer friend, knew our love story, and she sure delivered!
LD invites all couples to her home, cooks them a meal, and spends hours just getting to know them. We talked about everything - our families, her family, our love story, our interests, our dogs, etc. By the time we left her house, we felt like we were part of her family. We truly felt so loved and adored by her after our first meeting. And although she asked us to do a little bit of homework (secret questions about our spouse, which I LOVED because it was recited in our ceremony and was what made my husband cry), she truly does her homework! Our ceremony was so personalized, from what she shared about us to the way that we incorporated several pieces that were important to us, such as a tree planting ceremony that combined the soil from our parents’ houses and taking a moment to secretly surprise our parents by thanking them in our ceremony. There was not a dry eye in the room - LD truly has a way with words!
After our wedding, EVERYONE asked how we found our officiant and if we knew her before the planning process. Lucky for us, we know LD will be a special person in our lives for years to come. We cannot recommend LD highly enough to officiate your wedding! - Sean and Erica Taylor -

Everything with Daring Celebrations was wonderful!
Lynda Daring "LD" was our officiant. She met with us in person and we knew she was going to be a great fit! She communicated throughout the entire process and the online planning tools were extremely helpful as well when deciding what we wanted for our ceremony! There were so many options offered to make your ceremony exactly what you imagined. We wanted religious components to our ceremony which she made come to life and we had so many compliments on our officiant/ceremony.

A real dream
LD was the absolute best. Her outgoing personality made our ceremony unique and one of a kind. She took the time to meet with us more than once and get to know both of us personally, which made our ceremony our own and not replicated. LD made us feel like family with the amount of love she showed. Her humor and easy going personality put us at ease. She made all of my worries disappear, answering any and all questions I had. She made all of the small details of the ceremony perfect.
We had some many guests compliment our ceremony as well as specifically the officiant we used.

The Best Officiant Around
Can't say enough great things about LD and how special she made our wedding day! From our first initial messages, the virtual consult, meeting in person, consistent check ins through the process, all the way through to our wedding day! LD helped us make our ceremony as personal as we wanted it to be and even helped guide us through a lot of our decisions around our ceremony. She provided us with so many resources and examples, feedback, and even stories from prior experiences. Our ceremony was so memorable, and our guests bring it up even almost a year later. LD was absolutely incredible as our wedding officiant!
LD was our officiant for our wedding in Dewey Beach DE July 2023. She was absolutely incredible! My husband and I wanted to select someone who was witty, kind, and creative for making our ceremony one of a kind. LD was extremely professional and had so much wisdom throughout the process which made us comfortable and our day stress free. My husband and I live in Australia and LD made the process smooth with FaceTime calls and staying in touch. All our guests said how they loved the ceremony and how much love they felt throughout it. LD was the officiant for my husband and I's wedding and having her officiate was one of the best decisions we made!! Besides being wonderful and kind, LD is truly a professional. My husband and I got married recently and were blessed to get to work with Jennifer. She was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Our inquiry was quickly answered by Lynda and we were assigned Jennifer as our officiant shortly after. We were able to schedule our meetings with her quickly and she immediately made us feel comfortable. She was very friendly, had an amazing upbeat personality, and was able to answer all of our questions; she was even able to provide us with suggestions for moments within our ceremony. Jennifer was quick to respond anytime we emailed, putting my mind at ease as I started to get anxious when the wedding was getting close. She inquired with us about our story and all of the important moments within our ceremony and was able to create such a wonderful ceremony that matched us perfectly. Her presence genuinely put us both at ease leading up to and during the ceremony. Our favorite part of the ceremony was a section called “secret questions.” Jennifer reached out before the wedding and asked both of us a different question about the other. We were to respond directly to her and keep the rest secret. During the ceremony she shared the questions and our responses, where we heard them for the first time. It was such a sweet and meaningful moment. I can not say enough good things about Jennifer and our entire experience with Daring Celebrations. -

My now husband and I were referred LD by our venue Greenville Country Club. Our wedding date was coming up quickly and finding an officiant had completely slipped our minds. We reached out to two different officiants, including LD and she was the fastest to get back to us. We scheduled a zoom call with her and after ending the call we knew we wanted to work with her. Meeting LD for the first time was like meeting an old friend. She asked all the right questions in order to better get to know us, our relationship and what was important to us during the ceremony. We met again in person to finalize all of the details and LD was so wonderful to help us decide the aspects we were unsure of. She made us feel incredibly supported and heard throughout the entire process! Heck, she was the first person to wish us a "Happy Anniversary" too! Everyone told us after our wedding that the ceremony was the most beautiful ceremony they had ever been to. They raved about LD and her knowledge of us and how beautifully she spoke. We HIGHLY recommend using LD! She truly does bring so much love into what she does. She will cater your ceremony to be exactly what you want. She is a true professional and makes the process so much easier. We had no fears with using LD. Not only did she help create the best day of our lives, but we know we have gained a friendship for life as well. -

Of all the decisions that a couple makes in preparation for their wedding day, choosing LD was by far the easiest and best decision we made. We met LD through a bridal show back early in 2019 before Covid-19 was even a thing . We had been meeting / interviewing officiants for quite some time . The people we met were nice enough and had great portfolios but we didn't get that feeling of wow when we encountered them. During our first meeting /chat with LD we knew she was the one for our wedding , the one for us! LD became apart of our family and we will forever be grateful for her meaningful and loving kindness . I would recommend LD to any couple no matter the gender , race , or religion . She is definitely one of a kind and we care for her deeply. She made our special day that much more meaningful !

How do you find the perfect words for the woman who always has the perfect words?!?!
Years ago, I attended a wedding that LD officiated. I just knew that her and the bride and/or groom were lifelong friends. Months later, talking to the bride, I was shocked to find that they had only just met LD while planning their wedding.
I knew I needed LD to be part of our special day from the moment we were engaged. It was hands down the easiest part of wedding planning. LD, you truly are a master of your craft. Our wedding, and everything leading up to it with you was perfection. There was laughter, LOTS of laughter, some tears and SO much love it was palpable. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

My daughter, Jamie, and son-in-law, Jack, were married on June 11, 2022. My husband and I didn't know what to expect, as our wedding was in my parents' synagogue with an orthodox rabbi performing the ceremony. While our wedding was beautiful, the ceremony was very impersonal. There was no talk of my husband and me as people...it was just a straight ceremony with the "normal" prayers and vows.
I was so impressed by Jamie and Jack's ceremony...the care given to learn the details of their life together and who they are as people. It was truly beautiful.
I have transcribed the officiant's (LD) words to put in a memory box, along with the maid of honor and best man's toasts.

Perfect Wedding Ceremony
We had the absolute pleasure of working with LD for our wedding day. My wife and LD had established a great relationship prior to our engagement. Once we started discussing our wedding plans my wife said, “I know exactly who I want to officiate our ceremony. You’ll love her!” We met over Zoom and finally in person prior to the wedding day. I couldn’t imagine a more warm, inviting and accommodating person. LD guided us through the entire process and made everything very easy, offering up many options and reminding us, this was OUR day.
Our wedding day, a smaller ceremony on family property, was perfect. LD brought it all together and provided beautiful words that brought on laughter, some tears and kept everyone engaged throughout. In the days after our wedding, everyone we spoke to who attended kept asking, “Wow, who was your officiant? She was incredible!” We couldn’t agree more.
If you are looking for an officiant for your wedding, look no more! You will not only have a wonderful wedding experience, you will also gain a friend. -

We had the great pleasure of coordinating our special day in just about six weeks! We were fortunate enough to find Daring Celebrations, Linda and our officiant Jennifer honestly by chance of "googling" celebrants in our area. As a gay couple creating our "non-traditional" celebration, the minute we met Linda and then virtually with Jen, we knew not only did we identify the right team to marry us, but also enhance our wedding and overall experience. The team takes time to get to know you as a individuals and a couple and incorporates that into every aspect of the ceremony. Jen, our officiant was gracious enough to work with us to develop just the right ceremony for us to represent our lives, family and future! I believe that if you asked any of our family members, friends - our guests, they'd agree how unique, personal and special our Spooktacular Halloween Wedding was. A large part of that was the personalized ceremony and inclusion that it represented. -

We were referred to Daring Celebrations & Ceremonies after our original officant for our wedding bailed on us very close to our wedding date. Lynda was absolutely INCREDIBLE to work with. She is so passionate about the work that she does and she truly wants her clients to have the best experience possible. She gave us the most beautiful and personal wedding ceremony after only meeting us one time! That one time meeting was enough for her to really understand us as a couple and we, as well as our guests were amazed at how spot on she was! Months later we are still receiving complements about how beautiful our ceremony was and how great of a job Lynda did. It truly was a gift for us to have her as a part of our special day.

Absolutely Recommend!!
We can't speak highly enough of Lynda and her team, especially Marjorie, who officiated our wedding. Lynda responded within hours of us submitting the online interest form and set up a Zoom meeting with her and Marjorie. They went over their services, allowed us to ask any questions, and just spent some time talking with us. We then met with Marjorie in person, where she took the time to get to know us better. We were comfortable with her immediately and knew without a doubt she was the right officiant for us. Shortly after our meeting, Marjorie sent the first draft of our ceremony. We then worked together over the next month or so to make it perfect. Marjorie performed an absolutely beautiful ceremony and even had a tissue at the ready when I began to cry. At the reception, one of our guests commented that ours was one of the most personal and memorable ceremonies they had been to. Daring Celebrations & Ceremonies was definitely the right choice for us and we would 1,000% recommend them. -

Marjorie is incredibly pleasant, a fantastic listener and was truly engaged in ensuring our moment was special from the outset! We specifically appreciated her attention to detail in that we mentioned Alex is a crier once and she came prepared with tissues she discreetly passed on to him and coached him on taking deep breaths without skipping a beat. LD gave my husband and I the ceremony of our dreams! LD is warm, personable, collaborative, and a true pleasure to work with.
We knew from our first meeting with LD that she would be a great fit for us. She supported us from start to finish and made the whole process feel easy. She went above and beyond by helping us with any questions that we had about the marriage license and writing our own vows. Extra kudos to her to being so extremely accommodative of our schedules since we live on the west coast!
The ceremony itself was beautiful, and was all anyone could talk about at the wedding. It really was everything that we dreamed of. We got so many compliments on the beautiful ceremony, thanks to LD! When my husband and I had to reschedule our wedding a third time due to coivd, we were pretty worn out, especially since we ended up moving the location entirely as well. But who would have guessed, that actually turned out to be a blessing for us - because we met LD! Right from our first meeting, we knew that she was the one we wanted to marry us. Others here have noted it, but we can also attest - LD is fun, bubbly, accommodating, understanding, and so incredibly kind. She was there with us through every step of the way leading up to our big day. And what an incredible day it was! The ceremony she performed was something we will never forget, and it moved us (and our guests!) in such an amazing way. SO many of our guests kept commenting on how amazing and unique the ceremony had been, and how wonderful LD had been in performing it. We could not have asked for a better officiant for our wedding, and would recommend her wholeheartedly to any couple! She truly made our wedding ceremony an unforgettable experience for all!! -

I honestly cannot say enough good things about LD. When my husband and I were talking about our favorite part of the wedding at the honeymoon, we both so easily said at the same time, "the ceremony" and that is all because of LD. She truly has a calling for this. Our ceremony was unlike any other wedding ceremony I've been a part of. (Not just being biased because it was our own). She truly knows how to make the ceremony so special not only to the couple, but to the guests. Every single person has said to us how amazingly special our ceremony was and it was like a family member had married us. From the beginning LD has made us feel like her family. She had us at her house for brunch and we could have been there talking to her for hours. Her good heart and spirit just radiates when you talk to her and you can tell she truly cares for you as a couple. Lynda was an absolute joy to work with! She is professional, warm and accommodating. She was able to fit us in for a ceremony within 2 months. It was the 17th year of the Brood X Cicadas (I am terrified of ALL bugs)and I thought our wedding would be unforgettable for all of the wrong reasons lol. Lynda calmed me down and she was able to give us the most beautiful ceremony. They opened their home to us for an elopement ceremony on a rainy day in June. From the soft pattering of the rain on the skylights during the ceremony, to the warm and inviting great room the ceremony was held in, Everything was magnificent and set the blissful mood! The photographer was able to get great pics of us in the rain with our clear dome umbrellas. I am just elated with how everything turned out. I can tell Lynda has a passion for what she does and from the other comments I know she has touched many other lives aside from ours. I highly recommend her services. You will NOT be disappointed.

I couldn't of had a better officiant for our special day!
If your looking for a personable officiant to make your ceremony exciting and special. Lynda opened up her house to us and helped us through planning a wedding during the pandemic. She was always there to lend an ear and help out while I was having my little moments. She does this special thing with the bride and groom and at the ceremony it is presented. Everyone loved the ceremony as it wasn't the same boring thing you see at all weddings. She truly is amazing! -

We can not thank LD enough for officiating such a perfect ceremony! LD makes everyone she meets so comfortable and at ease, and that’s exactly what we needed to calm our nerves on our wedding day. She makes your ceremony so personal and customizable to you both. My husband and I were not interested in having an extremely traditional wedding and LD was more than happy to add or take out anything that we did not think fit us. LD is absolutely wonderful! Our videographer said after the ceremony that she was one of the best officiants he's seen - and he has been to way more weddings than we have. LD worked with us from day one to understand what was important to us and then highlighted all of those things during the ceremony. My husband and I knew we weren't going to be married in a church but still wanted to prepare for our marriage as a couple both practically and spiritually. We attended a coaching session with LD that helped us understand where we still needed to have conversations and made us even more confident that we were doing everything we could to set ourselves up for success. With COVID-19, it was a stressful year to plan and re-plan a wedding. LD was so flexible with the timing, size, and last minute edits (including bringing her own sound system when we ended up canceling our DJ). She also constantly reminded us what was most important - us and our marriage. Our wedding was much smaller than we originally wanted but it was romantic, intimate, and sweet in a way we didn't expect. It was perfect and largely due to her! We highly recommend! -

I Immediately fell in love with her absolute amazing personality. The moment you meet her you will instantly feel like what you want is important. So from the very beginning she treated us like family always checking in and helping us know what we needed and even helped us with covid and finding a place to reschedule for. The secret she has both people do is amazing and how she added both of our views included my christian belief and my husbands Buddhist views. Words cannot describe...
LD was easily the best decision we made for our wedding. I truly believe she made our day memorable.
We had a very small COVID wedding, and she made the whole thing feel so joyous. Her speech was not preset or generic. She made it personable, and added personal touches about my husband and me. She mentioned things about us that we briefly said to her in passing, and I was surprised that she included it.
Whenever I had a question via email or text, her responses were quick and informative. When I was a nervous wreck with the ceremony planning, she calmed me down and told me to leave it to her. Even when our date was delayed due to COVID, she was flexible and very responsive to our sudden crisis.
I highly recommend Lynda. She will make your day as special as it should be!!
(My husband cried several times throughout the ceremony, and that should be testament enough of her effect on us) -

We loved working with LD! We put off looking for an officiant towards the end of our wedding planning because we really had no idea what we were looking for. We had met with a few other officiants before meeting LD, and none of them seemed right. When we met LD, we felt comfortable with her and knew we had to have her officiate our wedding. She was so friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. When COVID-19 happened and our 150 person planned wedding changed to a 10 person backyard ceremony, LD just rolled with the changes and was so accomodating. The ceremony was special and we are so happy we decided to go with LD. -
