Best planner ever!
Courtney-Rose and her team KILLED it! We had experience with them in the past because my sister used her for her wedding and it was so perfect so we knew we had to book her for our wedding and we are so happy we did! Courtney-Rose helped us with every detail and was so communicative and transparent. Everything was perfect and we truly could not have done this without her. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! HIRE THIS TEAM!!! Incredible and forever grateful for the attention to detail and wonderful recommendations. -

Courtney-Rose and her team helped us plan our DC wedding, and we're already thinking about other events we can host so that we can work with her again. We used her three month coordination service and she helped us find a venue, but I feel like we got so much more - Courtney-Rose's vendor recommendations helped us book so many other wonderful vendors who made our day perfect, and once we'd booked someone we often realized Courtney-Rose was already coordinating with them about our timeline, logistics, and other behind-the-scenes work that took such a burden off our shoulders. From our first meeting to the day of our wedding, Courtney-Rose made us feel at ease. At our wedding, Courtney-Rose and her team navigated so many tricky situations (two venues, snow, etc) with grace and without us feeling any of the wedding planning stress. So many of our guests gushed over how smoothly the wedding went. Thank you so much! -

Hiring Courtney was the best decision and investment we made! I recommend to EVERYONE that they hire a full time planner and always point people to Dantus & Co. Courtney guided us through every step in planning our wedding over the course of 18 months. She kept us on time and efficient by steering us to great vendors who met our vision and budget. On the week and day of, we didn't have to lift a finger, nor did our family and friends, which was the ultimate goal. We wanted everyone to have the absolute best day and everyone did! We heard from many of our guests that it was the most perfectly executed wedding that they had ever attended - and so much of that was due to Courtney and her team! -

Best Decision I Could Make!!
Deciding to get a day-of planner was by far the best decision I made for myself throughout the whole wedding planning experience. By the time I was looking into planners, I was so worn out from stress that even the idea of making this one decision felt daunting. Pretty much immediately, though, I felt completely comfortable and confident in my decision to work with Courtney-Rose!
She was the first planner I had an interview with, and I canceled all the rest and booked her right away. Even my husband - who was grumpily on the fence about spending the money for a planner at all - immediately clicked in with her and was ready to hire.
First of all, even if you are just using her Day-Of Coordinator services, Courtney-Rose and her team never make you feel like you are on your own before the day of the wedding, or less of a priority to her. We had multiple meetings, email correspondences, and she not only stayed looped in on where we were in the process, but helped to guide us along the way.
Her attention not just to detail, but to Your unique details, was entirely invaluable!
Finally, come the day of my wedding, I had Nothing to worry about. She delegated all of the bridal party duties, her team helped wrangle vendors and family, and all I had to do was allow myself to get put together and nervously await the most beautiful ceremony of my life. Most people say their wedding day flies by, but I can honestly say mine didn’t. I had full ability to just soak in each and every moment without needing to run around making sure everything went the way it was meant to, or worry about any sort of logistics. That is the greatest gift that Dantus & Co’s services will give you as a client - enough peace of mind that you can actually enjoy your day.
If you are anything like me, then just an interview with her is all you will need to know she is the perfect choice to make.

Hire her immediately!
I genuinely cannot say enough good things about Courtney-Rose and her team. My husband and I planned an out-of-state wedding and we would have been so lost without her (something we both admit openly and often). We knew we wanted something outside of the traditional DC wedding, and Dantus & Co just made sense for us. Beyond just being a joy and so easy to work with, Courtney-Rose brought a level of service that was simply so impressive from the very beginning. We knew right away that we just couldn't do this without her. Her organization, knowledge of the industry, and creativity helped bring our vision to life in a place where we weren't sure it was possible. We owe so much to Courtney-Rose and her team, both leading up to our wedding day and the day of. She deserves far more than 5 stars!!!
Without hesitation, we would hire her again in a heartbeat! -

As another vendor, it is such a breath of fresh air when we get the chance to work with great planners and Courtney was exactly that. She is very organized and responsive to emails. She works diligently to make sure her couples' weddings are exactly how they envision it to be. If you are looking for a great wedding planner, we would highly recommend her! -

If I could rate a million stars, I would. Courtney-Rose Dantus, Owner and Lead Event Coordinator at Dantus & Co. Events is a rock star as well as her team. My husband and I just got married at the Patterson Mansion in DC, and from start to finish Courtney-Rose was attentive, detailed, organized and helpful. We were worried because we decided to plan a wedding in 3 months, and we were so happy that Courtney-Rose was able to help us on short notice. We had a vision and Courtney-Rose amplifed that vision to create an intimate and special wedding masterpiece. Our wedding was beyond beautiful and that is thanks to Courtney-Rose, her team and all the vendors she suggested (venue, catering, florals, photography & more). She has great connections & contacts within the DMV area for vendors. So, finding great vendors at short notice was no issue and she handled all the bookings; I only had to pay. I also love that booking with Dantus & Co, means I'm supporting a small business, that is Woman owned and Black owned too. Courtney-Rose Dantus knows her stuff, and you won't be disappointed. The wedding was seamless from beginning to end and we are still receiving compliments. We will always be appreciative of her hardwork and dedication to our intimate wedding. Plus did I mention how the prices and packages to book an event, are amazing and affordable too! So trust me, you should book Dantus & Co. for your next event big or small. We know we definitely will again. They will now be our go to place for any future events we want throw. Thank you Dantus & Co! -

Where do I start! I knew from my first phone call with Courtney that I had to work with her. Due to the pandemic, we were interested in some type of modified wedding. Luckily, I came across Dantus & Co.’s all inclusive micro wedding packages. All we had to do was literally show up to our wedding! This option took so much off of my plate. Every aspect of our day was awesome, from the decor, to the flowers, she gave us beautiful cake options, we got amazing engagement photos, and a gorgeous wedding venue. Even though we were in the middle of a pandemic, I put complete faith in her through our wedding process and she absolutely delivered! With every bump in the road, Courtney came with a solution...this was so calming and reassuring for us! Courtney is so detailed and thorough with everything she does. She has amazing taste and attention to detail. I loved everything about our wedding! I cannot thank her enough for pulling it all together in just 4 months and in such crazy times. Courtney-Rose is truly the super woman of Wedding Planning lol! -

Courtney-Rose is the sweetest and most patient person. Super easy to work with and on top of her game! She was very professional and kept us on track with everything we kept falling behind on! A pleasure to work with, and made the whole experience less stressful for us! We strongly recommend her! She coordinated our wedding and we couldn't think of anyone better to have done it! -

Dantus and Co was the only vendor I regret hiring for my September 2024 wedding. We hired them for design and partial planning. For the first ~10 months, we worked with the owner, Courtney Rose (CR), to finalize the design and contact vendors. About 2 months from our wedding, we were referred to a planner (first Victoria, then Becca) who acts as more of a day-of coordinator. Since these planners weren’t working with us from the outset, they didn’t have the context for our wedding which made the experience more difficult. For instance, on our first call with Victoria, we mentioned that we were having draping installed. Victoria had never seen or heard of this which was odd, considering Dantus & Co had supervised the process of ordering it. To assure her that this was done, I had to find the invoice that she already had access to and point to the line that said “Wall drape.” Things like this happened repeatedly until I called CR and asked to switch to a different planner.
We were reassigned to Becca, which didn’t resolve the issue at all. Soon after, CR left us a message telling us that she was charging an additional $850 to achieve the wedding design they had proposed. I called her immediately—why did we need to pay extra for this? “Some parts of the design vision need extra labor” Her team had proposed the design vision. Why didn’t they tell me about this sooner? “That was the design stage, this is the planning stage” By this point we were less than 2 months away from the wedding. CR assured me that there was no other option and, rather than frantically trying to find a coordinator, we decided to just bite the bullet and accept the charge. Things didn’t improve. Becca habitually made changes to the wedding plan without our input. She changed the dinner style without asking, reassigned florals to places they weren’t supposed to be, deprioritized our keepsakes, opted against ordering chair cushions we wanted, and refused to use flameless candles CR directed us to order. Once, she changed a rental order without regard for the impact on our budget, assuring us that if it costed more, it would only be a ‘nominal amount.’ This isn’t even an exhaustive list of everything she changed without consulting us—just enough to illustrate the point. Each time, I was only able to mitigate the issue by repeatedly asking about all the details, which was exhausting.
She also wasn’t very detail oriented. Both her final timeline and design mockup had errors. Her email to the wedding party had typos—my FIL had to correct them. My family cringed when she said that the 7 blessings would be read in “Jewish.” For some reason, she told all the bridesmaids to meet at 6 AM sharp, despite the first appointment not starting until 6:45.
Becca was better on the wedding day—it was clear she was experienced—but there were still issues. She started directing the photographer to take photos we didn’t want until I asked the photographer to take over. I received several comments from family and friends about how she was rude to them or made them uncomfortable. She made me uncomfortable too—she insisted on helping me use the bathroom despite my repeated attempts to tell her I could go on my own and had already done so. That said, all the assistants working with her were phenomenal.
Ultimately working with Dantus and Co just made the process of planning my wedding more uncomfortable, anxiety inducing, and upsetting. For the price, you can get better service elsewhere.
