Book her as your makeup artist and you will be so happy you did!

What an amazing human and makeup artist! Picking a makeup artist for my wedding day was definitely something I was stressed about. I wanted to find someone that made me feel comfortable, calm, beautiful and also like myself. Dannon made me feel all those things and more! She is so sweet, funny, charming, and talented. She is able to perfectly balance being professional and personable, and she is so much fun to be around. She is reliable and someone I knew I could depend on. She made me feel so beautiful and natural during my trial and wedding day. All 9 of my bridesmaids and our 2 moms absolutely loved her and were super happy with their makeup. I cannot recommend Dannon enough. Book her as your makeup artist and you will be so happy you did!

So Worth It

Dannon was incredible to work with and I would book her again in a heartbeat if given the chance. Not only is she an absolute sweetheart but she is so talented! If you’re looking for gorgeous natural looking makeup, she is it. My makeup did not feel heavy or dramatic at all- just the most perfect enhanced natural beauty makeup look. She really listened and took my day to day preferences into account when curating my look and it turned out great. I felt so beautiful on my day!

Love Dannon! So talented!

I used Dannon for make up services for my Charleston rehearsal dinner and wedding in September of 2021. I cannot say enough good things about her - she is so sweet and personable, yet very professional and listens to what you are envisioning for your big day or event. She works fast but it does not affect her quality of work! Love Dannon and highly recommend her - I felt so beautiful all weekend!

Dannon MUA is the one you want

If you are unsure about who to hire or where to start for make up for your wedding day or any other event, Dannon should be the beginning and end of your search. She is a true gem and such a dear - she is warm, inviting, laid back and cool and totally gets your vision. I’m not a girl who wears a ton of make up and I don’t wear make up every day and I didn’t want to not feel like myself on my wedding day. When I did a trial with Dannon, she put me at ease and took her time to create a look that made me feel like a polished version of myself. I loved how she did my eyes in two different styles that were slightly different from each other and let me make the choice of what I liked best. She was timely, organized, had clean products, and knew exactly how to handle the wedding day and working in all the bridesmaids. I wouldn’t change anything about my experience with her and would do it again! If I ever need to be fancy for an event in the future, she will be my girl for sure. Dannon is #1.

We used Dannon for my daughter’s wedding and could not have been happier! My 4 daughters and I all had her do our makeup for the special day! Having so many daughters that have gotten their makeup done over the years for events, I can honestly say Dannon is by far the best we have ever had! Not only is she incredible at what she does, she is kind, smart, creative and lots of fun! She really is a master at what she does! The makeup looked so beautiful and natural! Our wedding was at night and all of our makeup looked great from the time she applied it that morning until late that night! I can’t wait to use Dannon again for future weddings!

The best!!!!

I have never felt as pretty as I did when Dannon did my makeup for my wedding day! She is so genuine and you can tell she really cares about making you feel your best. I have had my makeup professionally done for many events and no one tops her. She is also such a cool person and I could have hung out with her all day. Seriously, she’s the best!

Absolutely perfect

Dannon is nothing short of amazing. Not only does she do a KILLER job on making everyone look like their most beautiful, natural self, but she also does this by the way she makes you feel. She is so talented and such a wonderful person to be around on a day that can be filled with lots of moving pieces! I truly cannot recommend her enough! I wish she could do my makeup every day!

Best makeup artist in Charleston!!!

I couldn't have picked a better makeup artist for my wedding than Dannon, she is amazing!!! She did makeup for myself, my two MOHs, and my mom, and everyone looked so beautiful. Dannon is also a great energy to have in the room while you are getting ready. She is super fun and positive and makes everyone feel special and beautiful.

the best i've ever looked!!

Dannon was amazing!! She did makeup for me + 5 bridesmaids + 2 mothers at my wedding last weekend and I cannot recommend her enough. I've had professional makeup done many times before, and have always felt like it looked a little too dramatic or "wedding makeup"-y, so definitely wanted to go for a more natural look. Dannon absolutely nailed it!! We all still looked like ourselves, just WAY WAY better haha, but without that "beauty pageant" kind of look. She's super easy to talk to and was fun to have around, and also amazingly fast. She did all 8 of us in around 4 hours. HIGHLY recommend!!

Great to work with

Dannon was amazing. Not only was the makeup amazing she was so fun to be around and brought so much energy to my wedding day. I was so impressed by how quickly she did everyone's makeup. I was worried because I had 8 bridesmaids. She did my makeup and the 8 bridesmaids in under 4 hours completely taking away the stress of being ready in time. After my first trial I changed my mind a bit about my vision and she was completely understanding and we did a second trial and it was perfect. I would recommend Dannon to anyone and everyone! xo

Words cannot express how beautiful Dannon made me feel on my wedding day, I don't have the highest self esteem and she made me feel like a supermodel. I could never thank her enough. Not only is she a master of her craft but she is down to earth and a lot of fun to be around. I highly recommend her!!!!!

I have never met someone that I felt so comfortable , open , and honest with! She immediately got me and while obviously taking care of my bridal Party as well she put ME first! And I felt amazing. I was kind of struggling trying to find someone to do my make up for my wedding. I was looking at all these websites and nothing seemed to really stand out! When I got to Dannon's page, just seeing her work, I knew she was the one I had to get! Seriously, everyone looks fabulous in her pictures!! I had never had airbrush make up done before but had heard great things. I thought I wasn't going to get a chance to get a trial run, having a busy schedule and being out of town. Dannon reached out and mentioned she could fit me in the day before, and then my make up would be done for the rehearsal dinner! Worked out perfectly!! She's SO sweet and did an absolutely INCREDIBLE job! My make up the day of the wedding was seriously flawless. She's so talented, my girls and I looked stunning thanks to her!! Even my mom, after seeing her work the day of decided she wanted to get hers done too! She uses the single lashes which look so natural and full compared to the strips! She's super quick and I can't thank her enough for her amazing work! If you're looking for some incredible make up for your wedding, she's the one!

Dannon is so amazing! She was so responsive and involved from the start in making sure that I felt confident and comfortable with how my makeup looked for my wedding day and couldn’t have been happier in terms of how mine and my bridesmaids makeup turned out or finding someone with fun energy who genuinely cares and listens! Dannon was absolutely AMAZING!! From our first meeting she was able to give me the look I was going for on my wedding day! She was friendly, professional, and worked well with everyone in my wedding. Even my mother who hates makeup loved how Dannon made her look. I also had Dannon cover up some scars I have and I was beyond impressed how great the cover up looked and stayed the whole night! My husband told me I literally took his breath away and there is no better feeling for a bride then that!! I would recommend Dannon to anyone for any makeup service. I will have to find an excuse to keep using her for regular events! I wish I was ridiculously rich so I could hire her to be my personal make up artist, lol!!

Dannon did my makeup for our engagement photos in Charleston and she is fantastic!! She was so kind from the very first e-mail. Her vision and skills are off the charts and I can't say enough wonderful things about her and her work. She made me feel comfortable and confident, which is a rare gift, especially being able to do so right when you first meet someone! Book her NOW! She is professional, and she does the best makeup among all of the makeup artists in Charleston. Getting married in Charleston, SC can be both exciting and overwhelming. As the number one destination wedding place in the world, there are more vendors than you could begin to imagine. Being the OCD girl that I am and only wanting the best, I diligently researched every vendor I chose. When it came to makeup, I chose Dannon. After speaking with a few different artists, Dannon was the only one who was not only professional but also down to earth and easy to talk with. Not only is she top notch at what she does, you can see her passion for it as well. Her airbrush look is flawless and incredibly necessary if you are planning an outdoor summertime event. I am one to have make up worn off within a few hours. My wedding makeup stayed on the entire day through the evening.

I wanted more of a natural look and that is exactly what she gave. Her specialty is in the way she does the eyes. I would recommend her to anyone!

Dannon was absolutely fabulous!! She did my makeup along with my mom's and maid of honor's and we were all so happy with the results. I have acne and a very oily face and for the first time my makeup lasted all day and night without any shine or need for touchups, and there wasn't a blemish in site! Even with all of the dancing I did, the makeup did not budge. She goes out of her way to make you feel so comfortable and calm. She was easy to get in contact with, quick to respond, and punctual. I have already recommended her to multiple brides-to-be and will continue to do so, her work speaks for itself!

Dannon is amazing! She recently did the makeup for myself, bridesmaids and mothers at my recent wedding down in Charleston, SC. I cannot rave enough about how awesome we all looked. Dannon was such a pleasure to work with! From the very beginning, she was responsive and kind and always willing to answer any little question I had. When I ran into a bunch of snags that delayed some scheduling, but also required a complete venue change (with only two months to go!), she was not only understanding, she was compassionate and so sweet. During my trial run, Dannon created a look for me that was flawless! She was so focused and knew exactly what she was doing; it was awesome to watch her work! On my wedding day, Dannon made me feel absolutely gorgeous! My makeup was flawless and it held up all night, despite it being an outdoor wedding on a muggy afternoon. She made all of my bridesmaids and my mom look and feel beautiful as well, which was very important to me. I would highly recommend Dannon to ANYONE who wants perfect makeup from an incredibly kind, talented, and professional makeup artist.

Dannon was absolutely amazzzzzing! I honestly wanted to pack her in my suitcase and take her home with me. I was an out of town bride doing all my research for vendors online and stumbled upon this wonderful gem. She is extremely responsive, professional, and sweet as pie and not to mention her work is outstanding. I felt absolutely flawless on my wedding day. First of all is there a way to rate someone more than 5 stars??.. because Dannon deserves like 10 stars! I had the pleasure of having Dannon do my wedding make up last week & I am still glowing just thinking about how beautiful she made me feel. Not only is she super talented and professional (always responded to my emails within hours) but she is also a total doll! I live in LA & when I was looking for a make up artist in Charleston I was having a hard time finding one who's brides looked glamours (Sorry other Charleston make up artist, but y'all need to take a page out of Dannon's book). I'm not a fan of the natural bridal look and that was all I was finding in Charleston, I thought I was going to have to fly my favorite LA based make up artist out but then I came across Dannon's website & as soon as I saw her smokey eye & contoured cheek bones I knew I found my gal!! Don't get me wrong, Dannon can do that natural look beautifully as well. When I had my traditional make up trail I was blown away by how she did EXACTLY what I wanted! Dannon immediately picked up on what I liked & thought that I would really like airbrush, so on my wedding day she brought her airbrush system for me to try & said that if I didn't like it she would start over with traditional. She was right! I LOVED the airbrush! it was so light yet had amazing coverage! On my wedding day Dannon did my maid of honor, my mother, mother in law & my make up and we all looked amazing! It was literally the most humid day I have ever experienced in my life & by the end of the night my hair (which i did myself) looked like it had been dunked in a pool, but my make up was still perfect! Not a smudge all night! I was tempted to sleep with it on & rock that look for a few more days... I didn't, but could have... thats how good she is.
If your in need of a make up artist in Charleston, or even in the state of South Carolina & don't hire Dannon you are doing yourself a disservice! She is beyond words amazing!

Dannon was so incredibly easy to work with! I had previous experience with her from another wedding that I was in, so I knew the quality of her services. It's strange to talk about how pretty you looked, but I really felt that way. I felt absolutely beautiful! The entire process was so easy and relaxed! I recommended her to my best friend who is getting married in May, so hopefully we get to see Dannon again!

I had a double mastectomy, 5 additional surgeries, radiation and hormone treatment-wasnt feeling too glamourous. It took me 35 years to find the love of my life...and when I had time alone to myself secretly I worried " Would I be beautiful on my wedding day..." I knew he loved me for so much more then my appearance, but what I had been through changed so much about how I felt as a woman. I found myself dreading having everyone look at me as I would come down the aisle. Finally I got the courage to really start planning the wedding. One day I came across Dannon's Facebook page...then her website....
I cannot say enough amazing things about her talent. I KNEW she was going to make me feel beautiful-I contacted her on the spot! Makeup is more then brushes, mascara, blush or lipstick-its art, its how its applied, it gives you confidence, and just makes you feel GOOD. Dannon is refreshing, she has a sense of humor and a light hearted personality-she is JOY. I actually cried (tears of joy) through our entire ceremony, every word I spoke in my vows to my husband was followed by tears, I cried a 100 times at our reception. When I got to our hotel room at midnight, I looked in the mirror, and my face looked exactly as it did when Dannon finished applying it at 4 o'clock. She is pure genius.

I couldn't recommend Dannon more. She's an incredibly talented artist who clearly loves her job! Not only did she make me look BEAUTIFUL on my wedding day, she made me FEEL beautiful and special, too. She's entertaining, light-hearted, fun, and passionate. Many thanks to Dannon for doing makeup for my June 1, 2013 wedding. From day one, Dannon was quick to respond to me emails and so lovely to meet when I drove to her home in February for a trial. I knew immediately after my trial that I wanted to book her. On my wedding day, Dannon did another bride's makeup in the morning then made over a 3 hour commute to make our appointment. Dannon did the makeup for my two sisters, best friend, my mother-in-law, my mother, and myself. As women who rarely wear makeup, we all looked beyond beautiful. I could not get over the transformation of my mother in particular. I suggested that Dannon give her false eyelashes since she always complains about not having any and wow, did that do the trick. I have never seen my mother feel or look so confident. As for my makeup, I couldn't have dreamed of anything more perfect. I showed Dannon an image off the internet of a neutral smokey eye and she nailed it. I also enjoyed having extremely long and luscious false eyelashes :) Aside from her talents, Dannon is also a beautiful person to work with. She fit right in with my family and friends and made us all feel so gorgeous on such a special day. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Dannon for making us all feel so good about ourselves. Dannon was AMAZING!!!! I wanted my makeup to look very natural and she accomplished this. I also love that she asked me what makeup colors I usually wear on a daily basis so that she could stay within that range of colors. I chose to get airbrushed for my bridal portraits and my wedding day and it still looked perfect at midnight after dancing, eating, drinking, and sweating! Dannon was beyond flexible on many different times. She traveled two hours to come to Columbia for a reasonable fee to do my makeup in the comfort of my own home for my bridal portraits. We had to reschedule due to rain one afternoon and she responded very fast to my panicked email asking to reschedule. We found a date and time the following week that worked and she was so positive and sweet about the change. She arrived right on time for my wedding day, took a few short minutes to set up, and went right to town on my makeup. She works very hard to make sure your makeup and flawless and only took around an hour from start to finish (if even that much). My bridesmaids teared up when they saw the finished makeup. On that note, everything she used was waterproof! The airbrushed makeup doesn't look different after many hours, doesn't wipe off on people's shoulders when hugging, and doesn't go into creases on your face. I also chose to have lashes put on and it looked stunning. People have not stopped complimenting and talking about how breathtaking my makeup was. Please find pictures on her websites and blog! My sister will also be using her in a couple months for her wedding. I love Dannon and will recommend her to the world!!! :)

Dannon is an amazing makeup artist. I had her do my makeup for my wedding day and she also did my mom, sister, and bridesmaid. She takes her time and is very attentive to detail. She is a very sweet person who is also always on time and is very responsive. Our makeup looked absolutely perfect on the big day and we had many compliments from guests on how we all looked flawless. Dannon did my eye makeup for a friend of mine's wedding in which I was a bridesmaid. I absolutely LOVED the way it looked. She also did the bride's make-up and several other bridesmaids and everyone looked absolutely beautiful. She was very personable and not too expensive either. Booking Dannon as my makeup artist was one of the best wedding planning decisions I made. She made me beautiful for my engagement photos, bridal portraits, AND wedding day. I had a different vision for each of the three sessions and she knocked it out of the park every single time. Throughout the process, Dannon was flexible and responsive, which was so helpful. In addition to being incredibly affordable, she is exceptional at her craft. She accentuated my features perfectly and made me look glamorous without making me look like someone else. I felt like the most beautiful version of myself each time I left an appointment with her. And the products she uses actually stand the test of time! We hired Dannon to do make-up for my daughter's wedding. She did the make-up of 4 people, including the bride. She arrived on time and took her time to make sure we all looked great. The make-up was light but thoroughly covered all blemishes. As the bride's mother, I cried a great deal that night and no make-up ever came off on the tissues nor did I have racoon eyes from eye make-up running. My make-up stayed looking just like it did the minute she put it on. I was amazed! Many of our guests commented on how great our make-up looked....especially after I cried and none of it came off. That night, I easily washed it off with soap and water. Not only does she use quality products, she has a real talent in the way she uses the products.

We found Dannon on Wedding Wire and she was quick to respond to all of our emails leading up to the wedding. I HIGHLY recommend her!

I want to thank you, not only did everyone look stunning, you worked under tremendous pressure, by yourself, and you did it with such grace. Dannon was an absolute joy to work with. She was so flexible with dates for me. I can't say enough about Dannon and the fantastic job she did for me. She was extremely flexible, traveling to another city at the last minute, and she is super friendly. She didn't complain once, even though she ended up staying for my wardrobe change an hour later than scheduled. I barely had to explain what I wanted, because with just one word, she understood and worked her magic. I have never looked more amazing and would without a doubt use her in the future.

Dannon was great! She did my makeup for my bridal portraits and my wedding. She really knows what she's doing and her makeup will last all day, which made me really happy that I didnt have to re-apply at all! My favorite part about working with her is that she really listens to how you like your makeup and did a wonderful job in doing it exactly how I wanted! Dannon did an AMAZING job on myself and my entire bridal party. Even though we had more make up on then we normally would, we still looked very natural. Our make up last the entire day (she started on the girls at 8:30am and the wedding didn't start until 6pm). She was very flexible, even when I had to change our originally agreed upon time (she reassured me that it wouldn't be a problem at all). When we realized she was running behind with our make up and we had to go to get our hair done, she even suggested that she stay to wait until we got back (which let me tell you....this was a HUGE stress relief). I would recommend her to anyone getting married. She is such a nice/sweet person as well and very easy to get along with. I can't wait until she starts offering her make up classes again....I will totally sign up for it.

Dannon made me feel gorgeous! The make-up was flawless and lasted all night. The lashes she applied felt completely natural and looked so glamorous. Dannon did my makeup for my friends wedding. She was early to my house, and very professional. When I went to others to get my makeup done they didn't listen to what I wanted. With Dannon she listened to what I had to say and made my makeup look better than what I had imagined. She even made sure everything was just right before she left! Every bride wants to look flawless on their wedding day, and thats exactly how Dannon made me look not only on the day of my wedding but for my bridal portraits as well. I don't have that celebrity skin that you see on tv but I knew I wanted to look like a movie star on the biggest day of my life. Dannon was able to do my make in up in a way that gave me the celebrity feel I was looking for with out being too over the top. From the first picture I took while getting dressed to the last picture I took as we got into the limo, my make up looked fresh and in place. I enjoyed spending time with Dannon as she applied my makeup. She was interesting, informative, and answered all of my questions about possible makeup brands that would be best for my particular skin. My makeup, when Dannon finished, looked flawless. Rather than "suffer" through applying my own makeup on my neice's wedding day, it was a nice treat for me to have Dannon take care of that.

Dannon did a fantastic job on myself, my FIVE bridesmaids, and my mother and mother-in-law. She was so responsive, helpful, and our makeup looked fantastic. She even stayed after our photos and touched up everyone prior to the ceremony. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a makeup artist for their wedding.
She was incredibly professional, artistic, and was a great value! I would love to use her again -- everyone has said how great I looked (and how fabulous all of my bridesmaids and our mothers looked) on our wedding day.

Dannon did a wonderful job on my makeup for my wedding and she was so easy to work with! She came to me for my bridal potraits and to the church for my wedding!! I would recommend her to anyone :)

Every bride wants to look her absolute best on her wedding day, but still look like herself. Dannon nailed it! Her attention to detail and talent far surpassed my expectations...and my expectations were very high, as I am very particular, and I also work in an industry where we hire incredibly talented makeup artists from around the world. Dannon is truly the best. I received so many compliments on how I had a beautiful, natural glow. The makeup she applies does not feel heavy, and the best part is that it stayed all day / night. My wedding was in the evening, and my makeup was completed by 12pm. I could not believe that I did not have to do any touch ups throughout the day / night. On top of being incredibly talented at makeup, Dannon is a sweetheart, and incredibly kind and chill. I felt very relaxed while getting ready. I truly enjoyed hanging out with her on my wedding day. I cannot say enough great things about this awesome girl!

Dannon K. Collard did an excellent job with my wedding makeup! I asked her to do my makeup at the last minute, so there was no time for a trial run. I explained to her that I didn't want anything too dark or heavy and she knew just what I wanted. My makeup looked better than I imagined! Dannon is super nice and fun to work with.

Dannon did a great job! I would recommend her to anyone. We did a trial run first, which was a great decision. At first I was a little overwhelmed with the makeup since I wasn't used to wearing much. I talked to Dannon about my concerns and the day of the wedding she did perfect! I couldn't have asked for anything better! All of my bridesmaids had their makeup done too. Everyone was extremely happy. She is amazing!

For someone who doesn't normally wear a lot of makeup, Dannon did a great job and helped make my wedding as perfect as it could be!
