We came all the way from northern Alberta and it was well worth the travel! The shop was intimate, cozy and professional. Danielle and her staff were absolute gems to work with. We left glowing! I would recommend this workshop to anyone. Those rings are even more special to us now and we cannot wait to get married so we can wear them. -

Very fun and unique experience!
Very fun and unique experience! My fiancee and I came in to make our own wedding rings in Danielle's workshop. Danielle was very knowledgeable about metal smithing and very enthusiastic about teaching others the beauty of ring making! She walked us through each step professionally and made sure we were comfortable with using the tools before moving on. She let us "have control" for most of the workshop, while explaining the importance of each step, detail, and movement. It was a super fun and romantic activity that we will cherish forever! Danielle also offers custom-made jewelry, jewelry repair and cleaning, and more. -

My fiancé and I attended Danielle's DIY Wedding Ring Workshop, and what an incredibly special and meaningful experience!
I did an initial consultation with Danielle a couple months ago and she gave me information on the process and found out a bit more about the types of rings we wanted to make. I took forever to decide on the type of ring I wanted, but Danielle was patient and helped me understand what options were available.
On the day of the workshop, we arrived at Danielle's studio and got right to work! We each started with a solid piece of metal, and Danielle walked us through each step of filing, bending, brazing, more filing, and careful polishing. She was there every step of the way to help if we needed it, but also let us do the majority of the steps ourselves so that the rings are really and truly made by us!
I'm an introvert by nature, and I was worried about spending 8+ hours with a stranger - what if it was awkward?? But Danielle is so personable and has so many captivating stories. We had so much fun talking in addition to the actual ring workshop! I was also worried about making the rings when I don't have any prior experience working with metal, but Danielle was a patient, kind, and effective teacher. They turned out beautifully.
The rings are pieces of art, and it feels so meaningful that we made them for each other. I can't wait until our wedding day so I can wear mine forever!
I would highly recommend Danielle's DIY Wedding Ring Workshop to every engaged couple. It's such a fun and unique bonding experience (which is a nice break in the middle of wedding planning!) and the rings you make each other hold so much meaning - what an incredible symbol of love. -

Fantastic wedding ring workshop!
Danielle was awesome! We spent an hour on the phone prior to the workshop where she asked questions, we picked our metal, talked about sizes, the process etc. She was very personable and had so much knowledge on the metals and processes we were doing to make our wedding rings. She walked you through every step and was open to any questions and helped whenever it was needed. We were the only ones in the workshop which is the only way she does her couple workshops allowing for 1:1 attention. She takes pictures while you are doing it and sends them to you. It was such a cool experience and I would highly recommend it! -

My partner and I made my engagement ring with Danielle through her wedding band workshop and it was an incredible experience. We had the best day in the studio and I can't imagine a more special ring to signify forever together. Danielle made the process so comfortable, easy, and fun from the initial consult all the way through the workshop. We're already talking about coming back for wedding bands :) -

Such a special experience!
This was the best experience, truly! My husband and I took the ring workshop to craft our wedding bands for one another. It was an amazing experience. Danielle was so patient with my husband and I and even cleaned my engagement ring so that we had everything extra shiny. It was so fun and we learned so much. I just wish they were closer to DC so that we could visit more often (because the jewelry they sell is also gorgeous)!

Wonderful experience
I found Danielle online while looking for something special and unique to do for our wedding bands. I surprised my finance with Danielle's class for his birthday back in June. We drove up on a Friday from Richmond, VA and spent the weekend in Greenville. Danielle was such a wonderful teacher. She took her time to explain how to do everything and was extremely knowledgeable. We truly enjoyed spending the day with her and making our rings. We had an absolute blast and we have a new found respect for those in the jewelry making business. We hope to be back in Greenville soon and stop by and see Danielle soon! -

WOW! We did a private wedding band workshop with Danielle Miller and it was such an incredible, special, and memorable experience! She worked with us ahead of time to design our custom rings and order the gold that we wanted. We ended up spending the entire day with her (>10 hrs) and it was an absolute blast! We had so much fun learning about jewelry making and it was so meaningful to make each others rings and be able to engrave the insides. Danielle made sure that we had autonomy in our ring making yet also supervised us sufficiently so that the rings looked perfect and designer quality by the end of the day. The cost of this workshop and metal was totally reasonable and comparable to what we would have spent to just buy a normal ring. We also made the whole weekend as a special trip to Greenville (we had never been to Greenville before) and were more than impressed by all that the town has to offer (it is a hidden gem of a town). Danielle gave us great restaurant recommendations and gave us time to explore and have a quick lunch break in the middle of the day. This was such a special experience and weekend and we hands down would recommend it to anyone getting married and wanting to make their own rings and have a fun weekend together! -

This was an amazing experience! We went to the Wedding Ring Workshop where we were one on one with the instructor (Danielle). My husband and I got to make a memory and a lifelong piece of jewelry! Danielle was great. She definitely knows her stuff and is right there with you along the way. We ranted and raved about the experience and know every time my husband looks down at his hand, he has a reminder that "we are in this together!". We even got to engrave the inside of his ring at no additional cost! Danielle was confident in our ability to finish the ring and it turned out better than we could have imagined! This was well worth the money and I would not change it for the world. It was just too special! -

Unique experience with creating your own wedding bands
I went to the wedding band class with my fiancé and it was a wonderful and unique opportunity! It was about an 8hr class where we took the time step by step to creating our rings exactly like how we imagined. My fiancé and I were looking for a place where we could custom make my wedding band together using some of my family's old gold jewelry. Danielle walked us through every part of the process and let my fiancé and I craft every detail of my wedding band from start to finish. Forget about buying a wedding ring. You should make one instead! This is a 10 out of 10 recommend. Danielle was a phenomenal teacher and a truly delightful person to get to know. The memories we got to make crafting my wedding band are one's my fiancé and I will cherish for the rest of our lives. -

We had such a blast making our wedding bands with Danielle. My fiance was a little worried he would mess up my band, so he was hesitant to try this, but Danielle assured us she wouldn't let us leave with something we didn't adore, and she was right. She guided us through every step of the way, and helped us craft beautiful, personalized wedding bands. We couldn't be happier. It was such a fun day! In addition, she took pictures throughout the day, and we ended up with an awesome photo album! She even took one of my favorite pictures of us ever. Huge thanks to Danielle! -

When we started to look at wedding rings, instead of just the whole "walk into a store and pick a ring" situation, we wanted something that felt meaningful. We looked into a make your own wedding ring workshop and we are so happy we found Danielle Miller. She was wonderful from the beginning: super friendly and easy to talk to over the phone, she made it easy to pick a date, and she was so very kind and patient with us when we made our rings. We made a weekend out of it because Greenville, SC is such a cute city and we're so glad we did. The ring making workshop is a great way to do something as a couple before the wedding, and it made the rings meaningful. We are so thankful to Danielle for making the ring making process so fun and enjoyable. Strongly recommend!! -

An unforgettable day!
We came from Chicago for the workshop and it was 100% worth it. It’s amazing to look down at our rings and know we made them. The day itself is so much fun—Danielle is incredibly knowledgeable about the process and equipment and keeps up a running flow of interesting information (in addition to just being a delight to chat with). Everything feels very personal and customized, and the final product is beautiful. We’re so grateful to have this day as part of our wedding memories. -

Unparalleled Uniqueness
Danielle is simply and truly an expert in her craft - not just of jewelry-making, but also curating a wonderful, educational experience for those of us couples that really want to feel an unparalleled connection to our bands. There is really nothing else like this workshop. We will wear our rings every day with massive pride, happiness, and memory of the mindblowing steps we took to make them. Even with high expectations, we were blown away by how much we learned, how the rings really are 99% made by our own hands, and how sweet the day was. We will never stop recommending this experience - specifically with Danielle, who was one of the first jewelers in the USA to offer wedding band workshops. -

Great Product, Great Value, and Great Experience!
If you are looking to make some wedding bands that are unique to you, have a blast making them, and spend less on them and the experience than you would just buying regular bands, then this is the class for you! We took the apprentice workshop class from Danielle to make our wedding bands and we can't recommend it highly enough. Danielle was very professional, she knew her stuff, and she was fun to work with. We learned a lot about the jewelry making process and what made our bands special. Our wedding bands turned out great and they will no doubt be something that we will treasure for years to come. I would and have recommended Danielle to anyone planning a wedding for that extra something special for your special day. -
