I was so concerned about the small details of my wedding and ended up kicking myself because I was in such good hands with Daniel all along. He made my whole timeline, provided countless accommodations, from engagement to wedding he was in constant communication, supplied a second shooter at a different location for my husband I mean I could go on and on. His experience and genuine personality along with his amazing team helped me relax and actually enjoy myself (I’m a bit of a control freak, sue me). our photos are absolutely breathtaking. These are just the ones on my phone they’re not even the coolest ones lol. Daniel is so sincere, talented, versatile, and humble! Hiring him was the best decision we made for the wedding and was quite honestly the only vendor that didn’t blunder the entire day lol. And that was enough honestly. Planning is stressful. He photographed one of my best friends weddings so when it came to my wedding I knew exactly who we wanted to capture our day. I'm not someone who loves getting their photo taken, but he made me feel at ease and captured some of the most beautiful photos I've seen! My husband and I could not be happier with the photos. We had the absolute pleasure of working with Daniel for not one, but TWO wedding days. Our wedding plans were a bit…unconventional. When we first got engaged, we decided to elope (just the 2 of us) to Ireland. However, due to logistics, we decided it would be best to sign all the legal paperwork before we departed. We also really wanted an opportunity to celebrate with our families and friends upon our return with a larger-scale party–and we wanted both days to be documented with beautiful photos that captured the different vibes of each event. Enter Daniel!
We discussed our ideas with Daniel during our first consultation, and he was more than willing to make our vision a reality. He created a custom package to incorporate both days, and was excited to capture two very different events for us. In the months of planning that followed, we were beyond appreciative of his patience, understanding, and flexibility as we navigated the various concepts for what both unconventional wedding days would look like.
Before we get to any of that though, we have to talk about our engagement photo shoot. As big fans of professional wrestling, we wanted to somehow incorporate that into the photos. So we contacted Warriors of Wrestling, a local promotion here on Staten Island, and they agreed to let us use their ring for the shoot! This was a first for Daniel, and he was thrilled to have the opportunity to do something different. He made us look like real superstars that day, and the images he captured are some of our all time favorites.
A few weeks prior to our “first” wedding day in June of ‘23, Daniel met with us at our home to get an idea of the layout and review the timeline. We then went to Fort Wadsworth park, where the post-ceremony photos would be taken, and scouted out the best locations for photos. By the time the actual day arrived, everything was perfectly planned out, and Daniel’s amazing photos really captured the intimate nature of our living room ceremony with 10 family members looking on. We capped the night off with a trip to Duffy’s Tavern – a local Irish bar – where we got some great photos of us enjoying huge burgers and pints of Guinness! Daniel was by our side the whole time, and he helped make the day so special.
Fast forward a few months and it was finally the day of our reception! Our family, friends, and co-workers all gathered at the Nassau Inn in Princeton NJ to celebrate us. Right in the middle of it all, of course, was Daniel, capturing moments in time that we will cherish forever. His photography truly is art, and you can see his passion for this through his lens. The photos that stand out the most from our reception are the shots on the dance floor. We feel that one place Daniel’s talent shines brightest is his ability to tell an entire story in one click of the shutter–and the photos of ourselves and our loved ones having a blast truly encapsulate the feelings we had in those moments.
Through it all, we feel Daniel became an honorary family member thanks to his enthusiasm and genuine investment in telling our love story. Our photos are EVERYTHING we were hoping for and more. We cannot recommend Daniel enough.

Absolutely amazing
Daniel is literally a one of a kind photographer. Not only are our photos nothing less than a dream, he’s just an amazing person. My family and friends (before even seeing the finished product) commented on what an amazing photographer he is. “He was on the ground to get that shot!” Daniel eased my anxiety throughout the day, it was wonderful having a friend by my side the entire wedding day. My fiance and I recently had our engagement shoot with
Daniel Jason Nydick and we could not be happier! We got our photos back yesterday, and I knew I had to write something right away.
Daniel has been absolutely wonderful to work with. He answered all our questions, made the actual engagement shoot a great time, and got us comfortable in front of the camera (which we aren't on a normal day). He was able to truly capture our personalities (including our pup).

We hired Daniel for our early June 2023 wedding in Morris County, NJ and he is the absolute best!! He is truly professional, talented, friendly and easy and pleasant to work with! What a fantastic photographer
Daniel Nydick was one of the best decisions we ever did for our wedding. We booked him two years before our wedding. His attention to detail and his friendly personality made our process a breeze. We LOVED every moment of having Daniel be part of recording Our Historic Day!
We found Daniel’s work online, doing the usual hunt for wedding photographers. His style immediately jumped out for us. Daniel, FYI you were the only phone call we made and ever needed! After some quick initial conversation, we found he totally struck a chord on how we wanted someone to live that special day with us and record it into Our history book.
Daniel took every imaginable care to capture the expression and feeling behind everything we created – Our “Wedding in the Woods” at Masker’s Barn, Watchung Reservation NJ. It was an amazing feeling to be so at ease in his attention to detail and easy professional style. It was never just photographic coverage; it was a full-on concierge experience that we got to star in.
For Daniel, His assistant John, and lighting asst. – their total kindness, support, and expertise in crafting stellar images throughout the day was noted by everyone including Tracker the cat! His eyes do not miss tiny details and nuance!
Daniel truly created something timeless and invaluable for us and made it seem effortless and 100% personal.

I've been following Daniel's work for years and have been so impressed that I knew if I ever had a big event, he was going to be my guy. So, I got divorced, found a wonderful woman and got re-married all so I could hire Daniel! Ok, that may be a slight exaggeration but the rest of what I have to say is 100% accurate.
When my wife and I began planning our wedding, I was open to any ideas on who our vendors would be, except one: the photographer. Luckily, it only took showing her a sample of Daniel's work for her to jump fully on board.
And we couldn't be more thrilled that we chose Daniel. Daniel is so much more than a photographer. He makes the whole experience personal so that he can tell YOUR love story. The memories you end up getting are exquisite. The color is eye-popping and the quality and creativity are jaw-dropping.
Daniel guided us every step of the way but never, even for a single moment, felt intrusive on our day. We couldn't be happier with the end result and haven't stopped hearing compliments from friends and family about the amazing photos from the wedding.
I would highly recommend Daniel to ANYONE looking for a photographer. -

Super TALENTED and RELIABLE!!! Gorgeous photos.
Photography was our number one priority. Now that our wedding is over, I’m so grateful with our decision. Candids are meant to capture the emotion of a special moment. I would go as far to say that I truly didn’t understand the magnitude of capturing great candids until I received my photos back from Daniel. When going through them, I am truly reminded of what I was feeling that day and I catch myself smiling so big. I wanted to enjoy my wedding day fully by being present. This meant a lot of laughing, dancing and happy tears. Daniel was completely on top of documenting all of this. My husband and I also initially booked Daniel for his artistic ability. Daniel was successful in capturing the beauty of our venue through our bride and groom portraits. They are not typical portraits, but very vibrant and creative which is what we wanted. I also want to add that Daniel has been absolutely amazing to work with. He is very genuine, personable, kind and reliable. My friends and family absolutely loved him. Daniel and his team of Aaron and Marc were amazing to work with. My husband Russ and I knew we wanted Daniel to captures all the special moments for our wedding. We wanted someone who thinks of the box and also fun to work with. He is not your typical photographer. He is creative, talented, and friendly. It is like I knew him for years. He makes you feel welcomed. From day we loved his vibe. I know we will have the traditional photos but we wanted capture the whole essence of our wedding. We wanted candids photos from the wedding party and guests. We booked Daniel in July 2021 and had our wedding this year on January 7th at The Palace at Somerset Park. He is amazing to work with. I mean....the FIVE STAR reviews should speak for themselves.... but I would be re-missed not to share with the rest of the world just how awesome Daniel is and how remarkable his work is. I found Daniel on my hunt for a photographer with an edge -- someone who isn't afraid to break the mold of traditional wedding photography and who could guarantee that when our moments were captured, the personalities of those in the photos could somehow be felt through the screen. It is an understatement to say that Daniel did not disappoint... he EXCEEDED every expectation. Knowing just the right moments to capture and just the right angles to capture at is an art form that Daniel has mastered. From communication, to timelines, passion, and execution, Daniel has been an all around perfect vendor... and I promise you that after booking him, you'll also make a lifelong friend.
I booked Daniel 2 years before my wedding and on our wedding day, Daniel suggested we take a photo similar to one I had commented on a year and a half prior, because he remembered how much I enjoyed it. His attention to detail is exceptional. I never had to reach out to Daniel and ask what the next step was, he always made sure I knew. AND when it came time to deliver my photos, he delivered them... ahead of schedule... and made sure my husband and I were well equipped for our viewing party (you'll have to hire him to see what kind of special touches he brings for you !) Daniel doesn't just capture the most incredible moments of your life, he creates art that transcends you back to those moments and you'll remember exactly how you felt (even with a little too much liquor in you).

We booked Daniel for our October 2022 wedding at David's Country Inn. Once we met Daniel we instantly knew we had to book him. His photos alone spoke for themselves, they encapsulate his love and passion for what he does. We love Daniel! We found Daniel through social media and completely fell in love with his unique style of capturing the emotion in every one of his photographs. Daniel was so helpful during the entire planning process. We did our engagement session in Asbury Park, NJ on a not-so-perfect September day. Regardless of the weather, our pictures came out amazing and we had such a blast. My husband and I are not ones to take tons of pictures of ourselves, so we were a little nervous walking into it. However, Daniel had such a calming and fun vibe that we felt so comfortable! We got married this past August in New Hope, PA. We wanted to be able to capture the beauty of our venue and all the fun of the wedding. He did just that and so much more! We hired Daniel for our April wedding in New Hope. From the minute we met with Daniel via Zoom, we knew we were in good hands. As this was our second marriage, we told Daniel that we did not want a ton of "getting ready" and formal shots. We wanted him to capture the candids of our party. He absolutely delivered! Daniel is a rare talent, but beyond his amazing eye, it was like we had a friend taking our photos. He was kind, funny, and seemed genuinely happy to be shooting our wedding. Choosing Daniel Nydick for our Wedding Day photography was one of the best decisions that made our day so incredibly special. From the very first phone interview to all of the patience he had with our going back and forth of questions, specific details and shots we wanted to capture to the BIG day and how smoothly everything went, especially with him making it feel so comfortable, we could NOT have asked for a better photographer. The only thing I wish we could've done different is afford to have him for the entire weekend because of just how incredible all of the photos came out for the "short" 10 hour window we booked for the day of. Not to mention, his impeccable timing of turn around time with incredible sneak peaks and the entire album of photos, we cannot speak more highly of having him make our day so special. The BEST Photographer!
We came across Daniel's work on social media, and fell in love with his creativity and ingenuity immediately. He was the first photographer we were lucky enough to meet with, and we stopped our search the day we sat down together because conversing with him felt like catching up with a great friend. He quickly became just that - a great, and forever, friend.
Daniel is so kind, energetic, talented and genuinely cares about what he does and those he meets along the way. He made it a point to ask what moments we wanted to cherish, what experience we wanted to have and what our vision was for our special day. We put our trust and faith in him, and the rest came to life through his lens.
Neither myself nor my husband knew anything about how to pose, where to look or what to do to make sure we were giving Daniel something to work with (having never had this kind of experience being photographed). However, after seeing Daniel in action, I guarantee we could have known a lot less than we did and he still would have captured the best version of us. Not only does he make you feel so comfortable, but his humor has a way of easing any butterflies!
From a professional standpoint, you could not ask for a better vendor. He was not just on time, but early, came organized and prepared, and had eyes everywhere so as not to miss a moment. Ironically, he also has such a keen way of blending in, you do not even know he and his team are there capturing your happiest moments. Daniel had over 1,000 photos back to us in just a few short weeks (felt like days!) and even made our viewing experience thoughtful and surprising.
Daniel's vision for capturing special moments is such a unique gift which left us with so many breathtaking photos filled with life, energy, and a fairytale of our most special day. He flawlessly captured the joyful moments, serious moments and the fun and silly moments as well. He was able to so uniquely capture our love for each other, our family and our friends. In fact, every time we look through our photos, we feel the joy of our wedding day all over again. For that, and so much more, we are eternally grateful. Thank you, Daniel! -

Wedding Dreams Come True
My husband and I cannot express how AMAZING Daniel was throughout our wedding planning process. We now consider Daniel a great friend; during high pressure moments he was the only person who seemed to calm us down. He was able to capture who we are as individuals and the love comes through on camera of our story as a couple. Daniel answered all of our questions and then some. Our engagement photos and wedding photos are seriously one of a kind. When I look at other couples’ photos compared to ours, it is obvious how special Daniel is. I really don’t know where to start with Daniel. I found him on Instagram as I was scrolling through my feed and his pictures JUMPED at me. I wanted to remember the most important day of my life like THAT. I reached out via his website and he responded immediately even though it was definitely past 10pm. We had a Zoom meeting the next day and I could FEEL his Passion for his job emanating from the screen. What followed was 8 months of constant communication, updates, check ins and a seamless booking process. The day of my Wedding, Daniel and his staff blew my guests away with their dedication to capturing the emotions we were all feeling. I’ve made most of my married friends and family jealous just by posting his photos on my social media. Daniel’s photos are so amazing we didn’t need a Videographer. Yes, read that again. THAT is the power of true photography and the sign of an amazing artist. My guests look at my pictures and RE-LIVE the day of my Wedding. So do my husband and I. He was the highlight of the most important day of my life and you’re crazy not to book him. What I respect most is his dedication to his couples. I’ve spoken to many of my married friends and they just don’t have the same personalized relationship with their Wedding Photographers that I have with mine and that’s really a shame. Even after our Wedding he’s just been fantastic and probably doesn’t charge enough for his personal services. I don’t ever leave reviews unless the quality of business is really of an outstanding caliber. So I had to. An amazing photographer and professional
There are no words to describe the talent and professionalism exuded by Daniel and his team. From the minute we met him, my husband and I knew Daniel was the right person to capture our wedding day. On our wedding day, Daniel brought a sense of calmness and order to the hectic timeline we had. He knew exactly where to be, what to do, and guided us the whole way. Any chance he could, he scouted the best place for us to take pictures, even with a rainstorm looming nearby (which thankfully stayed away). Leading up to the wedding day, Daniel worked with us whenever we had questions about our timeline, provided suggestions based on his experience, and once again guided us in everything we needed. When we had to postpone our wedding twice due to COVID-19, Daniel was so organized; he shared a spreadsheet with all of his customers listing which dates he was not available, so that we could easily check there and organize with other vendors without having to go back and forth.
To top it all off, our guests loved Daniel. He’s so entertaining and loves to really get into the party with everyone, which allows him to capture the best action shots. We also received our pictures very quickly and are absolutely in love! I could not recommend Daniel more. If you’re in search of a photographer, please reach out to Daniel; not only will he not disappoint, he will exceed every one of your expectations, and you’ll make an awesome friend along the way. -

So this review is long over due but 2020 right?! Anyway, I cannot recommend Daniel enough. My husband and I are a high contrast bi-racial couple that needed a photographer that wouldn’t blot him out or cause me to become part of the glare. With Daniel this was a non-issue we got a full look at the work hes done and its fantastic. I also have a health issues which can flare at the drop of a dime so we needed someone who would be okay with adjusting. When we met I mentioned the name of the condition and explained that lighting could be an issue as it might trigger terrible migraines but also that while I was fine at the time of our meeting it could be completely possible that I would get to the wedding day and find myself in my wheelchair. Then I waited for the pity glare and the dismissive assurance that I would not need my chair that I had gotten with our previous interviews. Instead what I got was a okay then we will adjust to whatever works for you both. Then he went a step further he looked up my condition asked me questions and got a good understanding of what the possibilities were he had contingency in place that would help should the need arise. And that’s exactly what we did. He arrived day of and we had a blast our wedding was a costume party and he and his assistants all showed up in full costume with us! (we asked) -

When we started planning our wedding, we knew that photography was one of the most important things to us. We don’t take many pictures together so we needed to find someone that would be able to tell our love story. Daniel was the first and last photographer that we met with! As soon as we took a look at some of his work and read the reviews from his past clients, we were so excited to meet with him. He is so genuine and incredibly passionate when it comes to his work. We originally weren’t planning on booking an engagement session, but we are so thankful that we did! We made the best decision hiring Daniel as our photographer. He already had our attention from reviews and social media and we both loved his photography style. After one call, there was no doubt.
Photography was our number one priority. We didn’t want to hope for the best; we wanted the best - which is exactly what you get from Daniel. We did our engagement photos with him as well (which I highly recommend doing!). He is absolutely amazing to work with, helps you to feel comfortable, and gives direction. He truly cares about his clients and went above and beyond our expectations. All of our guests were talking about how he was getting on the floor, running around - doing whatever he could to get the picture! We trusted Daniel’s vision and he delivered the most beautiful wedding gallery imaginable. Each photograph is a work of art - capturing the pure emotion, true love and happiness we felt that day. There are not enough great things that I can say about Daniel. From the first time that we met with him we knew that he was the one we wanted shooting our love story. (we didn't even meet with any other photographers that's how much we clicked right off the bat!) Daniel worked with us when we were planning so that we could get the things we wanted at a price point that was reasonable to us. During photo shoots he immediately puts you at ease and has you having fun no matter whether you are taking photos in the blazing heat and humidity (Meet and Greet photos AND our engagement shoot) or the freezing cold and flurries (Wedding Day). The day of my wedding I was seriously ill and seriously contemplating whether or not I was going to make it to my ceremony. Daniel spent the whole morning not only snapping AMAZING photos but trying to get me to relax and have fun and most importantly STAY ON TIME...I honestly don't think us girls would have gotten to the venue even remotely close to normal time if he hadn't been there with us. The team he had with him that day was also amazing. His assistant was a great addition to the team and had my bridesmaid laughing and he himself was snapping photos during the reception, including a great one of my coworkers and I in the snow! My husband had a great time with the second photographer and is still quoting funny things that he said to the guys so that they could get the best shots. Starting two days after our wedding we were being tagged in "Sneak Peek" photos on social media which honestly made the wait for all the photos so much easier! We received our wedding photos just shy of one month after our wedding which is FANTASTIC turnaround (Granted we got married in "offseason" but I know he works really hard to get everyone their photos as fast as he can. When we received the photos I was so nervous that I would look sick in the photos but Daniel delivered BEAUTIFUL photos that showcased how in love we are, how happy we were to be getting married and how much fun everyone was having. I wasn't disappointed in a single shot (even the embarrassing ones). He truly loves what he does and it shows. THANK YOU DANIEL FOR DOCUMENTING OUR LOVE STORY -

Dan & his team are seriously one-of-a-kind in the Wedding Industry. My Husband & I have worked in the wedding industry for 10+ years & we have seen it all! When we decided we were going to start planning our big day - I knew Dan was the only photographer I wanted to meet with. From beginning to end - he made us feel super comfortable. Dan photographed our engagement shoot & our wedding & we would do it all over again if we could! Our Best Decision
their absolute amazing work. I found Daniel through a FB group for brides and found his work online - knowing I absolutely loved his previous wedding work, I decided to reach out. Right from the get go, he was welcoming and very thorough with his explanations. I immediately felt at ease as he explained his different packages. I was a bit late in picking photographers and wasn't able to do my engagement photos with Daniel but had no doubt in his capabilities.
With the wedding approaching, he sent me a packet to fill out with all essential info of wedding part, locations & times which was fantastic because this allowed our wedding day to go smoothly, with NO hiccups and no wasting of time with pictures or finding people.
THE WEDDING DAY
Daniel had a great team - he was at my house with an assistant and a second (awesome and fun) second photographer was at my husbands'.
Dan had never been the main photographer at my venue and had never been to my church- BUT he sure fooled all of us because the photos he got from both places were BREATHTAKING!!!! He envisioned shots and would sometimes show us how it would come out- and bare on the back of his camera- with no editing- FLAWLESS.
Throughout the wedding, we got the standard pictures but I wanted to ENJOY my wedding and I wanted that captured, not posed photos. Dan understood that loud and clear and somehow made it possible- NOT ONCE did he make my husband and me stop enjoying ourselves to take a photo- he captured sooooo many live moments. I felt like Dan and his team must've had a microphone on us- because everytime we were with family or friends and wanted a shot- within seconds- one of us his team would show up and snap away. Not only did they catch amazing moments of us, they captured so many great photos of our greats! This was a big hit because I printed all the photos from the venue with the guests and sent them the pictures they were in, along with the Thank You's. I got sooooo many texts and calls saying how thoughtful we were and how great our photographer was. Just that night, I had 4 family members and friends come up to me and ask if he could photograph their wedding. Months after my wedding and we still have a close relationship with Dan.
There are many good photographers out there, but NO ONE quite like Daniel Nydick.
Don't even think about it twice and BOOK HIM ASAPPPP!!!! -

Flawless work and an amazing experience
Where do I even begin my review! I'll start by saying that if it was possible to give more than 5 stars, Daniel earned more. I fell in love with his work from the moment I saw it, and meeting him and having him capture our wedding day made me love him even more. His attention to detail and his creative eye left me breathless every time I saw a new photo. He made not only me and my husband, but my entire wedding party feel so comfortable. He kept us positive and laughing when the usual wedding panics happen and interacted beautifully with our guests all night long. If you're looking for a photographer, look no further, because Daniel is that and more. People asked all night if he was a friend that just happened to do photography, because he fit right in! We love you Daniel, thank you for capturing our love so beautifully!! -

TLDR: Hire Daniel, he’s amazing. You won’t regret it.
Wedding planning is stressful, and the day of goes by so fast. If you don’t have the right energy around you, it can make or break your day. From the first phone conversation, I got a great vibe from Daniel. When my husband and I met him at a local taco shop, we knew we had to hire him. Within minutes we were bonding over music and laughing like old friends. A quick sit down turned into a mini-photo shoot, after that, it was a no brainer. Our engagement shoot was even more fun, Daniel does a great job of directing you while still capturing natural and candid shots. We felt so comfortable with him and it showed in our photos. They came out AMAZING. Fast forward to our wedding day, all the way through the process Daniel kept in contact with us, made sure we had a schedule for the day and that he knew exactly what we wanted out of our photos for the day. He arrived early, kept us on track and even let us book him for an extra hour day of. Through the whole day he never lost his energy and his passion for his work was clear. You can tell that he loves what he does, it’s not just a job for him. Daniel is a true artist, and an amazing person to work with. Whenever we’ve been around him, we have a blast. We’re so lucky to have found him and had him capture our story. His style is bold and dramatic while still being romantic and timeless. If you’re thinking about hiring him, run, don’t walk. You won’t regret it! -

We were so concerned about picking a photographer for the wedding that we had a few interviews, searched on social media, and a hashtag later found Daniel! Our initial consultation showed us how passionate and dedicated Daniel is to photography. (Needless to say we fell in love with him and his amazing sushi shirt!) Daniel’s personality, creativity, professionalism, and dedication made our engagement photos and wedding photos truly magical! My biggest concern with hiring someone not familiar with the venue was if they would be able to capture our memories, but that concerned washed away. He takes every space, finds the best angle, and makes its a magical photo-op. Daniel was the best wedding planning discovery and truly a must have at your wedding! Daniel did an amazing job at our 25th Anniversary Vow Renewal! By the end of the day, we felt like he was part of our family. He was so full of energy and excitement and just an absolute pleasure all around. Many of our guests mentioned to us afterwards how friendly he was and how he was not in the way or bothersome at all. You hardly knew he was there as he ran around and captured so many beautiful moments. He took the time to meet us beforehand in order to understand what type of photos we were looking for, and then delivered exactly what we asked for. The end result was amazing! We have so many beautiful photos that we will cherish forever. I am so grateful that Daniel was recommended to us by our event planner. He is a find for sure! I highly recommend Daniel to anyone looking for a photographer who absolutely loves what they do and loves the people they do it for. Upon hearing about Dan, we contacted him to inquire about his availability to be our photographer for the wedding. We agreed to meet at a local coffee shop and he treated us to lattes and surprised us with a random photoshoot. We were sold at that point. His personality was overwhelmingly friendly and we could tell he absolutely loved what he does. He was available to meet up and/or speak over the phone at any moment we requested. We would absolutely recommend Dan to any couple looking for their special events to be captured. -
