Had an absolutely amazing experience with Daniel for my surprise proposal. I had explained to Daniel that the plan would be very hectic with no exact time and location, but Daniel was very accommodating and helped me the whole time. Proposing is a very stressful endeavor, but working with Daniel felt very reassuring.
During the proposal itself, Daniel was excellent and took wonderful shots of my fiancée and I. He took every moment beautifully, and was a professional with how he directed all the shots after the proposal itself.
Hoping that down the line, we’re able to return to Tahoe and will definitely enlist Daniel’s services again. You and your partner won’t regret hiring him! -

Daniel is the best! We traveled to our venue so we met over the phone and he immediately felt like a friend. His energy was great as soon as he arrived to shoot. He is personable, professional, and great at giving direction. Everyone at the wedding loved him, and our friends who are engaged want to use him next. We knew the photos would be amazing during the shoot, but we got our sneak peaks and we are in love!! We are incredibly lucky we found him. Highly recommend!!! -

Best wedding photographer EVER
We can’t say enough good things about our experience with Daniel! The quality of our photos is absolutely incredible, and he was so fun to work with from start to finish. He’s honest, communicative, and truly takes the time to understand what you’re looking for — it’s clear he genuinely cares about his clients.
His communication was fantastic throughout the entire process. He responded quickly, provided all the information we needed, and worked closely with us to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted.
Daniel was the only photographer at our 140-person wedding, but you’d never know it — everyone who’s seen our gallery assumed we had at least two photographers! We were blown away by how many amazing moments he captured.
We’d give him an 11/10 if we could. Highly, highly recommend! -

Words cannot describe what me and my husband think about Daniel. He is amazing. He’s there for you. He is 100% communicator. He’s very funny and very humorous and makes the experience so much more fun all my bridesmaids the whole wedding party actually the whole guest party were obsessed with him. He was so fun! He made sure everything was less stress for me and my husband he offered to go get food. He offered us to get us drinks, even though he’s trying to do photography. He made sure that me and my husband were stress-free completely. He also made my wedding timeline, which was the most top on my list is the most stressful thing he did help take care of that so that was a huge thing. I couldn’t be more thankful and I couldn’t imagine anyone else doing her wedding. Thank you Daniel. Any bride would be lucky!!!! -

You ran around to make sure you captured everything we wanted, there was a point I saw you sweating hahaha and I knew we picked the best photographer, you definitely came to work and didn’t leave anything out. Daniel was amazing! Not only did he have amazing ideas for pictures of me & my wife, but he was also doing so many things that were not part of his job! He was making sure we were taken care of at all times!! Everyone at the wedding was complimenting about how amazing he was. He has a great spirit very high in energy and very warm personality. Legit 5 stars!!! The Perfect Photographer for the Perfect Day!
We truly can’t say enough amazing things about Daniel photographing our wedding in Tahoe! From the moment he arrived, he brought an incredible energy that made us feel relaxed, excited, and completely taken care of. He wasn’t just our photographer—he was our hype man, our assistant, and even our snack runner (yes, he literally brought us appetizers during the cocktail hour so we wouldn’t miss out)!
His attention to detail was next-level. Every moment we wanted captured—he got it. Every angle, every emotion, every little candid spark of the day was preserved with such artistry and care. He anticipated our needs before we even knew we had them and catered to us with such warmth and professionalism.
The final photos? STUNNING. Each image tells a story, and the entire gallery feels like a dream we get to relive over and over. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer who is immensely talented and a joy to be around, look no further. He was the best decisions we made! Daniel Perfectly Capturing our Mountain Wedding
From our first inquiry to present day, working with Daniel was an absolute joy. My husband and I hired him for our remote wedding. Daniel began with get-to-know-us phone calls, assisted us with our wedding time lines, and our desired photo list so we could spend as much time celebrating and make picture time flow as seamlessly as possible. We wanted a second photographer and he brought along another great human being. Daniel customized his contact to perfectly meet OUR needs! I would say we are not picture people….but i am obsessed with Daniel, his pictures, and the way I had zero stress because I knew every memory was captured. 10/10, would recommend to a friend. -

We worked with Daniel for our wedding on 6/7/2025. We were so happy with his services. He is very professional and easy to work with. Our whole family loved him, and he and our DJ worked together flawlessly to create the perfect experience for our event. Daniel was very attentive to our needs and guided us through perfectly. It was a very warm day, and he made sure we both were hydrated and made sure we were drinking water and snacking along the way to keep us going. He did his absolute best to get the photos we had requested and to capture the crowd the best he could. We are both so impressed with the quality of his pictures and the care he took working with us during the event and all of our guests. We are still getting feedback from family and friends about how impressed they were with our photographer. Daniel is a really nice guy and puts his all into his work. Weddings are not easy, and he did a great job. We love his picture taking style and so far, everything has turned out beautifully. Originally, I searched for photographers on Instagram, and I found him on there. I looked at his work and his style really jumped out at me. He was not the closest or the cheapest photographer, but to me the quality and style of his work is what we wanted. The photography at your wedding is the most important thing that will last through the years to help you remember the moment and I wanted great pictures; it was a priority we were willing to pay for. We could not be happier. He was willing to come to us in Chester, CA and we are so happy with his work. We will definitely find an excuse to work with him again in the future and will recommend him to everyone! My husband says Daniel is Top Notch!! -

Daniel was absolutely the best. He was very responsive when I first contacted him. He stayed in touch and offered a variety of packages. He's old school too, providing a print credit as well as a thumb drive of all of our photos. He engaged our family and friends and was just fun to be around. His work is lovely. We couldn't be more thrilled with our experience working with Daniel as our wedding photographer.
Neither my husband nor I (bride) are comfortable in front of the camera, but Daniel made us feel at ease the whole day. His relaxed and professional approach helped us enjoy the day without feeling pressured or stiff in front of the camera.
Daniel has a real talent for capturing natural moments, and we were amazed by how he was able to get beautiful, candid shots without being intrusive.
He also did a fantastic job of organizing our (large and loud) families and bridal party for group photos and met with us several times before the wedding to make sure he had a list of all the group shots we wanted. He returned a sneak peek of photos back to us super fast.
Above and beyond just taking photos, Daniel truly went the extra mile to make our day special. We did an engagement shoot with him the day before our wedding and he brought us a few prints to display on the welcome table - which was super awesome. He also helped ensure we had wine (and water) during dinner. On top of that, let us borrow his Bluetooth speaker while we were getting ready - we forgot to bring one. His thoughtful, caring attitude made our wedding experience even more memorable.
If you're looking for a photographer who not only delivers stunning images but also goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly, we highly recommend Daniel. -

We couldn't be happier with the experience we had with Daniel Cewinski Photography and can't recommend him highly enough! From the moment we reached out he was responsive, personable, easy to work with, and genuinely excited to capture our big day. He made us all feel comfortable in front of the camera, which really shows in the photos -- we look natural and genuinely happy. His upbeat professional manner instantly put us at ease, making the entire process smooth and stress-free.
We had an elopement ceremony outdoors at Lake Tahoe with our immediate family of eight in attendance. It was our wedding day, our big day, and Daniel felt like more than just a photographer, he became part of the celebration. He connected personally with all of our family members, remembered details just shared and everyone's names as he captured the moments, big and small. He had an incredible way of being everywhere at once without ever being intrusive. We also needed a video of the ceremony at the last moment, which he was able to capture using 3 video cameras and mics on the officiant and the groom. We are so happy we have both formats to remember our wedding day.
When we saw the final photos and video were were so grateful we had found the "fantastically talented" Daniel! The pictures captured the joy and excitement that we all felt. Daniel used the natural beauty of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding forest in the late afternoon to great affect, creating truly breathtaking photos. We have gotten so many compliments from family and friends who have seen the photos -- "Gorgeous" - - "Stunning" -- "Beautiful".
Daniel did a "phenomenal job," as my daughter-in-law aptly said, of capturing all the special moments of our wedding day. Daniel was the best find ever for our big day! We were first introduced to Daniel a year before our wedding when we were looking for a photographer to take pictures of our engagement in South Lake Tahoe. He help to coordinate our photography session remotely and then took the most beautiful pictures of our proposal.
Fast forward a few months, My wife and I were trying to narrow down a photographer for our wedding day that would be held in Milwaukee, WI. We called Daniel and with excitement he offered to travel from California to Wisconsin at a very reasonable price. We were so pleased as we loved our engagement photos and the energy and professionalism that he brought to our engagement session would be hard to find anywhere else.
In the months leading up to the wedding, Daniel helped us to prepare for our big day not just as it related to our photos but helped us to visualize how we wanted the day to go and where he would fit into everything. To have his wealth of knowledge about weddings and the flow of the day, brought us so much piece of mind.
Daniel travel with his wife (Jennifer) to Wisconsin a few days before our ceremony in order to ensure he knew of plenty of great locations to shoot our pictures. He was extremely organized and on task throughout the day which allowed us to get fantastic pictures of our family members and everyone at the wedding. We were very impressed with his service and his wonderful positive energy that he brought to the whole day.
After the wedding, Daniel provided us with a large portion of our photos as sneak peeks within just 5 days of the wedding. We loved getting to share so many of our photos with friends and family quickly.

Daniel put everyone at ease with his positive attitude, enthusiasm and professionalism. He was on time/early, had great ideas for those special candid shots and was a joy to work with. Not to mention the STUNNING pictures he delivered of my daughter’s special day! Nothing can compare to the lifetime of beautiful memories he was able to capture so effortlessly throughout the day. Amazing!
We first met Daniel for our engagement photos. It was in the middle of November, and the snow. He brought us hand warmers to use throughout the shoot and then provided us with some hot chocolate afterward. They were very thoughtful gestures.
We then hired him for our wedding! He again went ABOVE & BEYOND. We got married in San Francisco, and he came out the day before to check out spots for us to take photos. He was with us ALL DAY, constantly ensuring we were good and had our cups filled. He would also check up on our families, even though none of that was expected of him. He also printed out some photos to look at and take home the same day! For us & for our parents.
Daniel is such a nice and genuine individual. You can tell he LOVES what he is doing. Very personable! We are also excited to have him take our photos for future lifetime events! We could not recommend him more!!! -

Let me start by saying that Daniel is the most gifted and amazing photographer that I have ever met! His professionalism, pricing and communications throughout the event(s) is bar none. Amazing professional and person!
Daniel is the man! We first met in Lake Tahoe for the engagement surprise photoshoot where he helped capture that amazing moment. We generated such a great friendship over that short time that we had him help with our big day.
It was a destination wedding in Maui, Hawaii. Daniel was amazing as he joined us for our rehearsal dinner where we got all the sunset photos one could wish for at the Plantation House and Plantation Golf Course at Kapalua. We had the wedding at the Ritz Carlton - Kapalua where you can imagine had plenty of amazing areas for photoshoots. He scouted out the location days in advance and had an amazing plan in place for all the wanted and surprise photos.
He is not only extremely talented at what he does but he absolutely loves it, and it shows. He is very professional but at the same time knows how to get that genuine laugh or smile in the moment. I would highly recommend him for any local photoshoot in Lake Tahoe area or any destination photoshoot. We definitely look forward to working with our new friend in the future. -

Daniel went above and beyond! He did more than just take photos of our special day, he helped in every aspect. Asked questions about the wedding day I hadn’t even thought of. Almost as though he was my unofficial wedding coordinator. Daniel is a genuine, energetic, funny, and intelligent person that I would hire again in a heart beat, and would recommend to anyone in search of a photographer. Through his photos I got to experience what my wedding was like in a whole new way. The big day came that my photos were ready for viewing instantly in tears at how beautifully done they were. Couldn't have been happier with Daniel as our photographer!
If we could give Daniel 10 stars we would! When we were first looking for a wedding photographer we had already booked a venue in Lake Tahoe and when we spoke with him over the phone and looked at his work we just felt a great connection with him. A few months later he did our engagement photos and we knew that we had chosen the right photographer. We were so happy with our pictures and when we used them for our Save the Dates and wedding invites, we received many compliments at how natural the photos looked. Due to Covid we had to cancel our Tahoe wedding and for several months at the beginning of 2021 we were in limbo about what we were going to do. Daniel was so great about being flexible with us on whatever route we were going to take to get married. We were going to get married at City Hall in San Francisco and he was more than happy to come down for the day and take pictures of us. We changed our plans again in early April when we decided to get married at the oldest winery in Southern California and Daniel was again more than happy to fly to San Diego for the weekend and capture our special day. We were beside ourselves that he was willing to do that for us after changing plans a few times. Daniel came to our rehearsal and he just knew exactly what to do. He immediately clicked with the wedding manager and I knew he was going to capture our day perfectly. On the day of our wedding he came to the salon where I was getting ready with my sister and the moms and he even brought my sister an iced tea to drink! At the wedding he was so professional and moved so quickly! He even printed out a few photos to give us a sneak peak and handed them to me during the reception - we were so impressed! We cannot say enough wonderful things about Daniel. He went above and beyond during our whole wedding process and we are so happy we found him. He will definitely be the photographer we choose for other big moments in our life. He was responsive, helpful, and just a kind genuine person.
