Dana was absolutely amazing from start to finish. From our first conversation over the phone I knew I wanted her to be my photographer for mine and my husband’s wedding day. She was clear and confident about her strengths in being a photographer and managing the complexity of large families, how she can get those pictures done quickly, and she definitely delivered on our wedding day. She was also very flexible with the weather for both our engagement session (which we had to change the date of, but it definitely worked out for the better), as well as on our wedding day. She and her team are kind, funny, encouraging, and exceptionally talented. Best decision I could have made!

Best Wedding Photographer!
We hired Dana for our wedding in late October and could not be more happy! She was the epitome of professionalism from beginning to end.
She was the perfect balance of directing during the portrait sessions and being non obtrusive and getting candid shots (looking through our gallery there are pictures that I didn't even know she was there for). She helped to keep everything running on time and was amazing at corralling our families during those photos.
From the moment we saw the social media posts the next day we new knew all of the pictures were going to be amazing. Every single picture is amazing, we are just totally blown away. We received our highlights right before Thanksgiving and were able to show those off at family gatherings and everyone is just floored with how beautiful the pictures are. We weren't expecting the rest of our pictures until the New Year as it's getting close to the holidays, so it was a pleasant surprise to get an email from Dana about two weeks early with the rest of pictures.
We cannot recommend her services enough! We are already trying to think of an excuse to have pictures taken by her again; we will definitely be repeat customers!

My whole experience with Dana has been amazing. We had our engagement pictures done with her before our wedding, and also pictures day of our wedding. She is professional, knowledgeable, and great to work with. We had multiple emails and calls to check in through out the process to make sure I was getting all the shots I wanted. Day of my wedding she had everything laid out and made family photos a breeze, and during the reception I feel like she captured every moment without any of us even realizing she was there. We had the absolute pleasure of working with Dana Marie and her husband for our June wedding in Ocean City, MD, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better photographer! From our beach ceremony to our fun reception at Hooper’s Crab House, Dana captured every moment perfectly.
She was incredibly personable and fun to work with—she instantly made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and gave us just the right amount of direction to make our photos look natural and effortless. The Wedding Photographer of our Dreams!
Working with Dana and her husband, Joe, for our wedding day was definitely the best decision we could have made!
We booked Dana Marie Photography for our July 2024 wedding at the Golden Sands in Ocean City Maryland. My husband and I are from the Scranton, PA area, so we did not know much about vendors in the Maryland area. We had our initial meeting with her by phone and we knew right away she was going to be the perfect fit. Dana took the time to give me advice on other vendors in the area and I was so thankful for that.
Although we did not get to meet Dana in person until the day of the wedding, she was so responsive to my emails prior to and after the wedding. She also put together a timeline for us for the day of the wedding, which was so helpful as I did not have a wedding planner.
Dana took the time to learn the names and relationships of each one of our 24 person bridal party. She also did a great job of keeping everyone in line and making the portrait portion of the wedding run so seamlessly. She also made sure we were able to attend our cocktail hour, while still capturing every photo we asked for.
It rained for the majority of our wedding day, which is not ideal for a beach wedding. From the second Dana got there she reported the weather to me. While our first look and most of the group bridal party photos needed to take place inside, we had a 45 minute window for our ceremony and portraits on the beach. I am not sure how she managed to capture so many great photos with such undesirable conditions.
One thing that was really important to us was having a photographer who knew how to work with the lighting from the sun at the beach and Dana was a perfect match. Our photos were sent back to us so quickly and they were everything we could have asked for and more.
We could not recommend Dana more and we cannot wait to work with her again in the future for family portraits.

SO impressed with Dana Marie Photography!
We booked Dana Marie Photography for our October 2023 wedding at the Ocean Pines Yacht Club. We had our initial meeting with her about a year before our wedding date and we knew right off the bat that she was the photographer for us. It was an added bonus that our engagement photo session was included in our package!
We were so impressed by not only the quality of her work, but the promptness of her response to emails and getting our hundreds of photos back to us. We don’t know how she has time for it all!
Dana helped us arrange a timeline for our wedding day; everything from getting ready, our first look, to sunset photos, not a detail was missed. She and her husband Joe were amazing to work with and we hope to work with them again in the future!

I live in PA but decided to have my wedding at Brooklyn Meadows in Berlin. I had no idea where to start with hiring vendors. I found Dana because she shoots weddings often at the venue and loved her style. She was amazing and all my family and friends complimented on her as well. She was so easy to work with and the smiles she got out of my 18 month old daughter who is in full toddler mode is worth all the money on it’s own. My husband and I have already said that if we need family pictures we will make a trip down just to see her.

I met Dana almost 2 years ago for a boudoir photo shoot and I knew then that she would be photographing my wedding. Dana is incredibly talented and I admire her hard work she puts into every single picture. DANA was more than I expected a Wedding photographer to be, given they do so many weddings squeezed into a very short calendar every year, and one wedding begins to look just like the other, BUT I WAS WRONG! My Wedding Barefootbeachbride wedding planner recommended her, and the hotel I used had one of Dana's Wedding Albums on display, so I saw her work--but even that album did not foretell the AMAZING work she would produce at my wedding. Her photos were out of sight, the colors were so sharp, the lighting perfect, both outdoors and indoors. Then there is the mood and ambience captured so perfectly, the story of the entire day and evening was told, beautifully, expressing the joy, happiness, and magic of the day. Dana was easy to work with, understanding, helpful, empathetic, and professional. After a couple of early phone conversations, and a couple of emails, I met her on the day of our wedding, and felt like I was meeting a friend. I can not recommend her enough--SHE IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Now I am waiting to put my album together, and it is going to be hard to select the BEST photos, they are all so perfect.

We decided to go with Dana for our engagement/wedding photos after numerous people recommended her. We chatted about my fiancé and I's vision for our wedding photos and decided on the best wedding package for us, which included an engagement session. We originally set a date for photos but after some thinking my fiancé and I decided to change the date. We emailed dana and she responded right away and happily changed our session date. Dana was professional and wonderful to be around while getting photos taken. She knew exactly which angles, gave us pose ideas, and we had a blast. She even checked the bug/weather report for us before we arrived! A week after our engagement session, we received a gallery of hundreds of professionally edited photos. Dana is INCREDIBLE and I am so happy that she was our wedding photographer!!! All of our photos turned out more beautiful than I could have ever imagined, and she was just truly a joy to work with. Our families, wedding party members, and other guests continue to rave about Dana! She has such a calm and confident (and fun!) way of posing and directing everyone that really makes you feel like she has your back and takes the weight off your shoulders as the bride, and makes everyone feel comfortable and at ease. Dana found so many fun places to take pictures at our venue - she found one corner with some tall grasses that I never would have even noticed, and those turned out to be some of our favorite pictures! Not to mention the beach pictures, and the sunset pictures, and the family pictures, and the getting ready pictures…they are all beyond amazing :)
All of Dana’s experience made the planning process a breeze, she was able to help us pick the package that made the most sense for us and our venue without ever trying to upsell us. Her organization and attention to detail was so helpful when it came to making our day of timeline, she laid out all of the photography for us down to the minute. Her turnaround time for our preview pictures and even our full album was so quick.

Best Day Ever!!
Dana Marie and her husband were amazing to work with from first contact and on. Our pictures are amazing! We got received the entire gallery fairly quickly and the moments captured are better the. We could have ever imagined! They are very friendly and comfortable to be around. We had a great time working with them AND our event took place during COVID19 which was handled beautifully by all of our vendors. She also does family photos so we look forward to using her in the future as well!

Dana and her team are so incredible. My wedding (COVID bride here) had so many unforeseen circumstances occur, including down pouring rain during our what was supposed to be out door ceremony. Dana was so nice and pleasant to work with through out the entire planning and wedding process. Not to mention, ALL of my photos are BEAUTIFU!L! I'm SO happy with them! & after all, the photos will be how you remember your special day! I don't know how she did the lighting end editing, but she is super talented! Excellent service, beautiful pictures
Dana was fantastic to work with. She photographed our wedding professionally and safely during COVID19. We had her 5pm to 9pm, she arrived 15 minutes earlier. She started off with the bride’s and groom’s getting ready pictures at Hilton hotel, met the bride getting on the horse carriage, captured wonderful sunset pictures at our beach ceremony, and ended the night at Coastal Salt restaurant. She is very friendly and easy to work with. Dana listened all our picture ideas, and made professional recommendations to make the pictures look spectacular. Also, Dana was very accommodating with few changes in our plans and schedule. We strongly recommend her anyone for spectacular wedding pictures.

Amazing experience
Dana has been amazing as our Wedding Photographer. Not only is she extremely talented but she is also very understanding and gave special attention to all my thoughts. She is extremely professional and what I loved the most was the poses and angles she suggested for us that worked wonders for our Indian attire. She beautifully captured every aspect of my wedding ceremony and understood the importance of each little wedding detail. I cant express my joy after seeing the pictures its like reliving the dream. Beautiful beach wedding photos!
Dana did an absolutely wonderful job, we love every single one of our wedding photos!!! We had a small beach ceremony in Ocean City, MD and she got perfect shots of everyone! During the ceremony you could barely tell she was there, and then for portraits afterwards she has an extremely warm personality and posed us in the most flattering way! Her photos are beautifully lit (lighting assistant is awesome!) while still being natural. I highly recommend her for your special day or any photo shoot, her prices are also great!

Dana is ahhh-mazing!
Planning your wedding 2000 miles from your hometown and vendors can be quite stressful, but Dana put my mind at ease (on probably more than one occasion.) We had never met her, but had seen her work prior to booking. After speaking with her, we found the perfect package for us, both of which was reasonable and would fit our budget. She asked all the right questions, questions that we hadn't even thought about. Our wedding party and guests loved her! She fit right in! We received our highlight photos within 2 weeks, and the rest of our gallery another 2 weeks later. A week turnaround for wedding pictures is unheard of, and talk about impressive! Needless to say, Dana's quality and value cannot be beat! We will definitely be using her again if we ever need any special occasion portraits done in the future. Thank you so much Dana!

Beyond Happy With our Wedding Pictures
My husband and I LOVED Dana and are both so happy we chose her as our wedding photographer. She was one of the highlights of our day and truly captured so many amazing moments! Dana, her assistant and 2nd shooter were all professional, pleasant and easy to work with. Dana is amazing with all types of lighting and her sunset pictures are AMAZING!! Dana Marie Photography is talented and creative when it matters most. We had some wind issues on our wedding day, so she was able to create other amazing spaces within the venue and still capture our coveted sunset picture on the pool deck with the amazing skyline in the background! I have even told my now husband we will be driving the 3.5 hours for any upcoming family pictures in the near future (we live in PA.)

Dana was amazing! We hired her to do our wedding pictures and could not be more pleased with how they turned out. We had a great experience with her from the beginning when we first met with her. She was very attentive to what we were looking for. Our engagement picture session was so much fun, and she shot pictures at two locations and even got some amazing shots of us with our dog! The wedding pictures were even better than we could have expected. We were amazed at how many pictures she was able to take! She was so flexible when we had a last minute change in the getting-ready location the morning of the wedding. She was able to get pictures of everything we wanted, including an extremely long list of family pictures and some fun pictures with golf clubs and the wedding party, since our wedding was on a golf course. Even though we weren't able to take as many portrait shots in other locations at our venue because of time constraints, Dana was able to improvise and squeeze in time for the perfect portrait pictures a short distance away from our ceremony site. If you're looking for the best wedding photographer in Ocean City, Dana is it!

She is incredibly knowledgeable and knew exactly how to make all of my requests happen, from our engagement photos to our getting ready photos, first look, portraits, capturing every single detail of my ceremony and reception, and capping it off with a beautiful nighttime shot, she is hands down the best! She was always on time, quick to reply to emails, willing to chat about any questions, and worked SO well with all of my other vendors (all of which are highly recommended). Her work is absolutely stunning (just see below; I could add hundreds, because EVERY pic was so good). Dana went above and beyond for our wedding pictures. During the initial planning stages, she was very responsive and helpful. On our wedding day, she directed everyone (50+ guests) effectively, and captured all of the pictures we hoped for and more. Dana made the pictures fun without the poses looking forced. At one point, she had us stop our romantic pose and run towards her... these ended up so beautiful and some of my favorite shots.
All in all, the photography for our wedding was the most important piece and I'm so thankful we chose Dana Marie!

Our experience with Dana Marie Photography was amazing. When mother nature would not cooperate with us on our wedding day, Dana accommodated our last minute venue change from the beach to inside. My wife and I were doing a vow renewal for our 25th. While we had a big wedding when first married my wife dreamed of a beach vow renewal. Dana Marie was partnered with our officiant/planner, Alison to the Alter. While we didn't personally choose Dana Marie we were extremely pleased with her services and would highly recommend her based on our experience.
We have not received our images yet but Dana Marie was very professional yet fun and friendly. She did many different poses and encouraged us to be spontaneous especially when we were in the surf. She waded into the surf with us despite it being unusually cool and quite windy for late May.
Dana was extremely flexible too. She was able to accommodate a date change by a day to work around an inch of rain. My wife and I still got our beach renewal thanks to her flexibility. Thank you Dana Marie and Alison to the Alter!

Dana Marie was amazing! After having our wedding cancelled in South Carolina and rescheduling one 48 hours later in Ocean City, Dana was so accommodating and worked with us to make sure we got absolutely everything we wanted. Her pictures were breathtaking.

Searching for the right photographer can be so overwhelming (especially with pricing). However, Dana Marie Photography will work out a plan that fits your needs and offers a multitude of options and packages. The quality of our photos were WELL WORTH IT! We have received SO MANY positive comments and feedback about the results of our photos; everyone wanted to know who took them. Dana is professional, kind, and truly loves what she does (which shows in her end results). I love her out of the box idea's and easy to work with attitude! Highly Recommended!

Dana is truly amazing!! We are so lucky that she was able to capture our special day. She truly has the best personality and her talent speaks for itself. We used Dana Marie near the end of Nov. 2015 for our wedding. We were extremely pleased with her and her assistant. Her professionalism was outstanding and she was very easy to work with. The pictures she took came out 100 times better than we could imagine. Plus, so many to choose from. We would greatly recommend her for any wedding.

Dana took the most beautiful picture of my husband and I over a year before we were even engaged, and once we were engaged, there was no question who our wedding photographer would be. From beginning to end, she made me feel absolutely comfortable, beautiful and relaxed. Her patience is unmatched. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Dana! My husband and I wanted to do a beach wedding, us and our families drove 2 hours away for this. Unfortunately we ended up having to bring the ceremony indoors, I was devastated. Dana saved the day in a sense because she took us out there on the beach and took gorgeous photos! Our family and friends love these pictures and I know we will cherish these forever. Dana thank you so much for your flexibility and awesome photography skills!!

Amazing photographer. Dana did our engagement, wedding and trash the dress photos. My husband and I felt like we were family more than we felt like clients to her. She is very compassionate about her work and very personable. To top if off she has packages to fit anyone's budget. I would highly recommend her to anyone. Our pictures were so stunning we will be making the 4 hour drive to Ocean City, MD for all of our future portraits. She's just that good.

There only positive statements I could make about my experience with Dana Marie Photography. I was referred to her by a friend who attended a wedding that Dana was taking pictures at. I made the contact and from there everything was awesome. She is extremely organized, trusting, creative, enthusiastic, and personal. I booked a package that she offered that best covered my wedding from start to finish. Her packages are truly reasonable since her quality of work is worth a few $1,000 more than what she is asking for. We had our Pinterest board where we exchanged ideas and constantly communicated by Facebook and email. She gave honest feedback/appraisal on the decisions we made on certain poses including the wedding itinerary’s schedule that truly made a difference the day of. I also attended a wedding of my friends who gave the referral and the way she executes her duties with her advanced equipment and work ethic was awe noteworthy. All of their pictures were so original and beautiful and I only got more excited for 10/17. The DAY OF…… WOW!!! I never felt so comfortable or beautiful taking pictures before. Dana with the help of her husband and 2nd shooter coordinated our chaotic family into stunning poses. My husband and I felt completely natural and in love with every pose Dana organized. Dana also took amazing “in the moment” candid shots of our Reception. We had loads of shared laughs, crazy dance moves, happy tears, and whimsical moments that she 120% captured behind lenses.
Overall, I am so excited to have her booked for our first Mr. & Mrs. Christmas photo shoot and plan on booking her for many important life events to come. If you don’t choose her you are simply crazy or unable to grasp the concept of having an awesome photographer. Think twice brides-to-be!!!!

When looking to propose to my then girlfriend (now fiance!) on the beach in Ocean City I was referred to Dana. From the initial e-mail correspondence to coordinating the event, telling me how to position us for our best shot and the pricing I couldn't have been happier with Dana! The customer service she provided was an A+ and the photos she subsequently delivered will be on our mantle for years to come!

My husband and I cannot say enough about the beautiful pictures that Dana Marie Photography took at our hotel and then at our venue in Ocean City, Maryland. I would love to do it all over again, and I am planning a "Trash the Dress" photo shoot with Dana in the near future. She is a fabulous person and an amazing photographer! I loved working with her and my family and friends enjoyed all the pictures! It was beyond what I could have imagined, and I am so happy I had the chance to work with her. I love my pictures and the package she put together for us, it was worth every penny! She is not only a beautiful person but an extremely talented photographer. I would use her for any event that you want to remember with pictures!!! Love, love, loved her!!!!

Dana is one of the most creative photographers I have ever met! I would and do recommend her to anyone in need of a great photographer. I have worked with her 3 times now. My first was a boudoir photoshoot, second was a styled business photoshoot, and most recently my wedding. She puts her clients at ease, allowing them to open up in front of the camera. I actually cried when I saw my sneak peak from the wedding! She understood my style, and her pictures are so unique. I had an outdoor, rustic wedding on the water with about 150 people. We hired Dana's business partner, Kyle, as a second shooter. Their styles were so different, but extremely complimentary. Kyle spent a lot of the time with the guys getting ready, and I loved the masculine style of those pictures. At the end of the day, we have a huge and TIMELESS wedding album to keep forever! :)
Hire Dana- you will not regret it!!

Dana is an amazing photographer and person. We had to make last minute changes of location due to the weather. Dana was more than flexible, available by phone! We were running late at the salon-she didn't seem the least bit bothered by all of the changes. Somehow she made me look amazing! These pictures are a joy to our family!!
