Dana was phenomenal to work with, from communication to the smallest details! We were from out of town and unsure of the perfect time and place. Dana went above and beyond researching and visiting the location beforehand then provided all the details to help make our surprise engagement perfect! And to top it off, she sent us photos extremely fast so that we could announce our engagement to family and friends!

Simply Amazing
What could be more important than having the perfect photographer to capture the most memorable day of your life? We are so grateful for Dana and her team. In the preparation for our day, she listened to us and made sure our priority was to enjoy our wedding day while she captured the moments we’d cherish for a lifetime..and boy did she deliver. We were able to stay present in the moment while she was nearly everywhere all at once never missing a moment! The way she utilized the beauty of our venue and the backdrop of color to make our portraits pop was amazing. Truly every photo looking like a piece of art. On top of that, when we received our full album ( a week earlier than expected by the way) there were so many sweet candid moments she captured that we never knew about! What a gift it was to relive the day from so many different people’s perspectives. Highly Recommend Dana!
Dana was an absolute dream to work with as our wedding photographer, so much so that I wish we could give her more than 5 stars. From start to finish, she was incredibly pleasant, kind, and professional. She made us feel completely at ease in front of the camera, giving just the right amount of direction so we never felt awkward or unsure of what to do. Her efficiency and warm demeanor made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free.
We had to reschedule our wedding last year at the last minute. Dana handled everything with such kindness, grace, and flexibility - something we will always be grateful for.

We loved working with Dana for our engagement shoot! Our pictures came out amazing! We had to reschedule our shoot a couple times due to weather and she was so easy going and incredibly helpful checking the weather for us days in advance to let me know in case I needed to reschedule my hair and makeup appointments. She walked us through every step of the way both before, during, and after the shoot. She sent us helpful guides beforehand to read through so that we felt prepared for the shoot. She made the shoot so fun for both me and my fiance! Would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer!!

Dana is extremely talented!! The pictures she returned to us (ahead of schedule I will add) were stunning and left so many of our friends and family saying these photos should be in a magazine!!! I noticed too she is very professional, on time and shows up ready to rock and roll. We originally booked Ms. Dana for an elopement ceremony and due to Covid we had to post pone it. Once our wedding was back on we decided to have a wedding with family and close friends. This process was so smooth with Dana! She was extremely kind and accommodating. Quickly sent us a new contract and guided us through everything!
I found Dana on a google search and immediately knew she would be perfect! Her portfolio was beautiful. Exactly who we wanted to capture our day! We didn't meet Dana till the day of the wedding. We live out of state and communication was done through email. The moment I saw Dana, she was like a breath of fresh air! I can be shy and Dana made me feel so comfortable! She was more than our photographer, she truly helped everything run smoothly and even helped me bustle my wedding dress! Her energy was kind, it was as if she was apart of the family and thats what I needed.

Dana was truly a dream to work with. She captured our day better than I ever could have imagined and made it so easy along the way. She made both my husband and I feel very comfortable day of and worked with us on a schedule/timeframe, photo lists, etc. I ran a few things by her during the planning process (dress colors/schemes, lighting) and she replied with her best advice along with some photos similar to what I was trying to envision. Dana is absolutely amazing!! My husband and I are so incredibly lucky to have had Dana as our photographer. Dana photographed several of my friends’ weddings and I knew instantly that I had to have her for my own wedding! Dana was so incredible throughout the entire process. As a top wedding photographer in Charleston, she is extremely knowledgeable and very talented. Dana was very flexible, especially when we had to change our plans one month prior to our wedding due to COVID. In an extremely stressful time, Dana helped me feel reassured with all of our unexpected changes. We had a small family ceremony on our original date and Dana and her second shooter, Sloan, were there to document all of our special moments (including our amazing First Look). Dana and Sloan were there again 5 months later for our bigger celebration
and we couldn’t have asked for anything more! We are absolutely in love with all of our engagement, elopement and wedding photos! We have received so many comments from

I have no words to describe how wonderful Dana was as our photographer. As a photographer myself I knew I needed to choose someone I could trust completely the day of so I didn't even think about photography. Dana was literally one of the most important and best decisions I made about my wedding day. Dana's attention to detail is exceptional. When it comes to your wedding photos you don't want just anyone there to capture life's most important moments. You will not find a wedding photographer with as much talent, professionalism, empathy and flexibility as Dana Cubbage. Being a COVID bride added a new level of stress to wedding planning and day of planning for a smaller scaled ceremony. We are so, so thankful to have found Dana as our wedding photographer! Not only did she travel to NYC to take our engagement photos, but she also photographed our COVID-friendly mini-mony in Charleston, and will be at our big postponed reception next year. We flew into town a year in advance, met her at her favorite taco joint and we knew she was the one! My family and bridal party still rave about her fun personality, she is so great and easy to work with all while still giving direction. Dana makes you feel so comfortable, even during the ugly tears! THANK GOD we listened to her and did a 1st look, it’s an emotional moment that I think every bride and groom cherishes, this is the moment Dana tells the groom to turn around and she does her thing without saying any other word, yet she makes you feel all of the good feels! Our pictures really capture every emotion, Dana and her great team follow and guide you from the beginning of the day to the very end. Dana is the best and easiest decision we’ve made!

From the get go, I knew that photography was one of the most important parts of my wedding day to me. The day only lasts the day, but the photos last forever. I wanted the same person to do my engagement photos and my wedding photos, so I started my hunt early and found Dana through my wedding planner and the internet. When I visited her website, I immediately FELL IN LOVE with her talent and her pictures and knew I HAD to have her as my photographer. Well, behind the talent is an awesome, funny, laid back wonderful woman who loves to produce photos that are absolutely brilliant. I will be the first to say that neither myself nor my husband like to be in front of the camera much, but Dana has a way of making you feel comfortable in front of the camera and actually making it feel natural. I always thought I would dread taking pictures on my wedding day, but I actually loved it, and that was all thanks to her. The quality of her work is unparalleled, and even that is an understatement. My guests cannot stop commenting on the vibrant, beautiful colors of the day and the great candid photos of the reception. I am so grateful to her for perfectly capturing the big (and very small) details of the day that I was not able to pause and appreciate. I can now appreciate them forever thanks to her brilliant work. The first thing you should do for your wedding and for your memories is to hire this girl as your wedding photographer - it will be the best decision you make.

Best Day Ever!
Booking DCW was my best decision as a Charleston bride. I can't say enough good things about Dana Cubbage and her whole team! She was extremely easy to work with and she's by far the best at what she does. She helps you to create a timeline for your entire wedding day, from getting ready to your final exit. Her timeline takes away a ton of stress from what could be a very busy and stressful day. Our wedding party (even the groomsmen!) really appreciated how easy she was to work with. As someone who doesn't spend much time in front of the camera, she is clear and concise with her directions when it comes to posing and placement. She made my husband and I feel SO comfortable throughout every situation. She blogs each wedding and shares her favorite photos from the day. Having a destination wedding I loved being able to share her blog post with all who were unable to attend. I also used past her blog posts to plan my own wedding, as her beautiful photography gave me lots of ideas for my own wedding. The BEST in the wedding industry!
We are so thankful to have had the opportunity to work with Dana for both our engagement photos and wedding! She is an absolute pro with her camera, she knows exactly how to make you feel comfortable and have fun, all while paying close attention to small details in every shot. She truly cares about her couples! When we met her for our engagement photos downtown, she made sure to set the time to fit perfectly with getting the best lighting of the day for the shots. She instantly knew exactly where to go, picking out the most beautiful alleys, door steps, and street corners. Our engagement photos turned out amazing! Wedding Photography
We are so fortunate that we had Dana as our wedding photographer! There is something about her photography style that drew us in immediately and we knew we had to have her as our photographer. We did a couple engagement shots prior to getting married and Dana was so fun to work with. She made the whole experience so easy and relaxed. On the actual wedding day, Dana was such a blessing to us. A huge storm came through while we were suppose to be taking our first look photos and she made us feel calm. She even had an umbrella that made one of our wedding photos amazing. My friends and family all loved her too! Seriously, my friends can't stop talking about how much they liked her and the photos. My husband loved our shoots so much as well. I definitely recommend doing an engagement shoot because we felt very prepared to take photos on our wedding day. The day goes by so fast and with her experience, we got all the photos we wanted. I am so happy that we had her and her team with us on the biggest day of our lives. I cannot say enough about her!

Stunning photos from an absolute pro
Dana was our wedding photographer and took engagement photos for us and we couldn’t be more thrilled with how our photos for both turned out! She is so responsive via email and beyond organized, providing a ton of really helpful information to all of her brides (blog posts, recommended vendors, Facebook group for current and former brides). Her turnaround time is unbelievable- we were so surprised to get both sets of photos back so quickly! I also love that she blogs every wedding and engagement photo session- our family and friends were so excited to look through the pictures. Now that's how you get married!
Dana is extremely talented, and she was so much fun to work with!! Having her there felt like you were inviting a good friend to your wedding. She is so good at what she does, she made us feel more comfortable, relaxed and at ease in what could have otherwise felt like awkward/stilted moments. She is a photographer who is truly able to capture the emotions of the moment - her photographs are candid and beautiful. I really appreciated how on top of all of it Dana was, both on our wedding day and in the days and weeks leading up to it. She was almost like a photographer doubling as a coordinator because she was so prepared and professional, and had planned out the day down to the detail so that we didn't have to worry about a thing. Outstanding Wedding and Engagement Photography
My friend hired Dana to shoot her wedding and raved about her experience, so when we decided to also get married in Charleston we went to her immediately to secure the date and luckily she was available. We first asked her to shoot our engagement photos and I'm so happy we did - not only did we get amazing photos to use on our save the dates and website, but it was invaluable to see how she works and she really helped my nervous now-husband get comfortable in front of the camera. He was dreading it going in and afterword said "That wasn't bad at all!" LOL.
Dana worked really well with our planner and other vendors up to and on our big day, working collaboratively to create our timeline - would say that is a huge plus for her, because it made everything seamless for us. On the day of, she and her other shooters were amazing at making everyone feel comfortable, picking out the best settings and timing. She loves dogs and she got some amazing shots of our puppy Rusty and the wedding party.
Finally - after the wedding she posted a great picture immediately (great instant gratification) and she turned around a blog post with photo highlights in a week, and the full gamut of photos in just a few weeks more. Her photo sharing and storage was also very easy to navigate.
We loved Dana both as a photographer and person - would highly recommend!

Dana is amazing!! At the time my fiancé and I decided that we did not want engagement pictures so I had only spoke with Dana on the phone once and emailed back and forth a couple of times. We are not local to Charleston so I did not actually meet her until my wedding day. She was wonderful from the moment we met while my girls and I were getting ready. She is very organized, punctual and professional, it's obvious she knows exactly what she is doing. What every bride deserves on her big day!

Where do I start?? I could not recommend Dana more. Dana was actually the very first vendor we booked for our wedding, and I’d do it again in a heartbeat. Dana is highly responsive to emails/phone, is super accessible, and is so sweet. More than that, she does INCREDIBLE work. One of the first things that drew me to Dana’s work was her impeccable eye for details. I’ll admit in planning our wedding, there many times that we joked that we’d only get things if we thought they’d make the cut for her fantastic detail shots. The details all really add up to have a huge impact and I really appreciate her ability to showcase those. Dana and her team (Emily and Sloan were SO AWESOME too!!) were so efficient and made every moment count. When we were waiting for a few extra minutes for our wedding party to arrive, Dana and Emily started right away taking a few extra shots of my groom and me. Dana really encouraged us to do a First Look and that was brilliant! It actually ended up being one of my very favorite parts of the whole day. Dana was able to capture such a personal and amazing moment and I’m just so grateful. Dana is so fast returning photos and her work is unmatched. WOW. I don't even know where to begin! I knew before I even spoke with Dana that I wanted her as my wedding photographer. I mean, just take a look at all of her photos, they are absolutely incredible! After speaking with her over the phone, I was sold! She's SO sweet! We had an engagement session with her around the downtown area. I, like a lot of people, get super nervous having pictures taken of myself! I’ll start by saying our wedding pictures came out amazing! We are thrilled we chose Dana Cubbage to document our special day as she is extremely talented and easy to work with. Our whole day went flawlessly with Dana driving much of the timeline and organization and we absolutely love how her and her team worked with our other vendors seamlessly. Dana has a ton of experience and offered several suggestions throughout the planning process and day of that really made a difference. Dana also really took into consideration the things that were important to us and made sure to capture those photos in a tight timeframe. We would highly recommend Dana to any future couples, she will not disappoint!

Dana is INCREDIBLE! Not only are her photos stunning (which you can tell from her gallery), but she is an all-around great person. She is genuine, professional, and easy to work with. Dana always responded to emails right away. She has a great sense of humor, which made our engagement photos and wedding day so fun. And, Dana got all our photos back to us super quick! I know some other photographers take months to get wedding photos back to their clients... not the case with Dana :)
I decided to book Dana for my wedding a year in advance, and I'm so glad I did! When deciding on other vendors, I would ask Dana if she had ever worked with them (and she has worked with just about everyone)- I always felt like Dana would give me her honest opinion on other wedding pros. She has great taste and I loved being able to work with someone who I could completely trust. She also put me in touch with her other Charleston brides, which made for a great network of wedding idea sharing. Wedding planning can be stressful, but working with Dana was completely stress-free. I highly, highly recommend her!

I am truly blown away by my experience working with Dana - I don't think words can explain it. Dana is incredibly talented and I can't begin to express how happy I am that she was there to document one of the best days of my life. I'm serious, my wedding day was perfect and I owe so much of that to Dana. We signed up for her full service package, which made me so happy because I got to spend all day with her. Dana photographed each moment flawlessly - capturing movement, emotion, and love. There wasn't one moment that I worried she was missing something and I was completely confident in her abilities. Working with Dana and her team on your wedding day will be the best decision you make. P.S. Make sure to do engagement photos! We were considering not doing a session because we live out of town, but I am so happy we did. It was the perfect chance to get to know Dana, get some posing practice, and feel more comfortable being in front of the camera.

I worked with Dana on three separate occasions, engagement photos, bridal portrait session and then our actual wedding. Dana is super easy going, friendly, and fun! Before our first session, my fiance and I were super nervous but she quickly put us at ease, cracking jokes and getting us to smile and laugh.
A couple weeks before each session Dana emails out helpful guides and tips for how to prepare. This definitely helped set our minds at ease!
All of the photos we got back from Dana were AMAZING! Especially the photos from our wedding day. I have received so many complements from family and friends after sharing the photos and have already recommended Dana to some friends who are recently engaged.

Dana and her staff were an absolute dream! My husband and I worked with Dana a year prior for our engagement shoot, so we were beyond excited to see her again on our wedding day. The wedding day goes by so fast, it was really important to us to have someone that would capture every single moment so that we could relive that day for the rest of our lives. I have only seen a preview so far, but OMG, I am pretty sure the photos are even more amazing than it was in real life and in real life it was a dream come true. Dana and her team were our kind of people and made the few hours of photos really fun. We really appreciated her coaching and humor that kept us laughing the whole time. I mean what other wedding photographer is going to coach you on the skinny stand?!?! SHE WAS AMAZING!

If Dana is available for your event, don't waste another second, book her now! Dana was the first vendor we booked and it was the best decision we made. Not only is Dana incredibly talented, she is one of the nicest people to work with. You spend a lot of time and some very intimate moments with her. The entire time she made sure we were comfortable and it was wonderful to have such a down to earth person with us throughout our day. She approaches the whole day with extreme organization and a genuine care for you. Her talent is absolutely incredible. We were blown away by how amazing both our engagement and our wedding photos are. Everything looks like it is out of a magazine and every time I look through our pictures I love them more and more. If Dana is available for your date book her now :) Dana captured our entire day start to finish with amazing pictures that everyone thinks are from a magazine. Dana has such an incredible talent and makes you feel completly comfortable throughout the entire day. On your wedding day you spend a good amount of time with your photographer and Dana is just so sweet and fun to be around! She is amazing at getting all of the shots you want and kept our large wedding party/family so organized it was a breeze to get all the pictures in. I am so glad we chose Dana as her incredible work is what we will continue to cherish throughout the years.

Dana is literally the most amazing photographer ever. Her light, bright and fun style really shows through no matter what your venue and attire are. She is so on top of it and really made our wedding day flow. We booked her for full day coverage from getting ready that morning until the exit from our reception. She and her associate photographer were so on top of it and great. We were ahead of schedule the whole day so they even had time to get some extra photos prior to the ceremony of any family or friends that just wanted a professional photo done. We got a "sneak peek" photo the day after the wedding, she posted her favorites on her blog (about 140 photos) within about a week and we had all of the photos within about 3 weeks of the wedding! Then...a month after the wedding, we received a surprise package in the mail with one of our beautiful bride + groom photos printed on a large canvas! You will absolutely get your money's worth with Dana Cubbage. We are absolutely going to be hiring her in the future for a 1 year anniversary shoot and many other shoots to come! Liz + Thomas Cooke

Dana’s services go beyond being a photographer and she is extremely flexible to work with. She was always available to answer questions and would even give us vendor recommendations! My family walked away from our wedding raving about how easy Dana was. I am very particular with photos, so choosing the right photographer was the most important thing to me. When I saw Dana’s work I knew immediately I wanted to work with her. We did our engagement photos with Dana and were nervous but she instantly made us feel comfortable and at ease so we knew using her for our wedding day was a no brainer. Being able to feel comfortable around someone who is literally following you around (which by the way you forget she is even there) to capture the best moments is extremely important and Dana makes that so easy! We booked our wedding day around her availability and I am so glad we did. Her team was so great to be around as well – they all work really hard at making sure everything is right! Dana is great at making a couple’s personality show through photos. Our photos were outstanding; we couldn’t be happier!

Dana Cubbage is the BEST PHOTOGRAPHER!! Meeting Dana was seriously a blessing to my husband and I. I am a huge fan of photography/pictures and wanted everything documented, my husband on the other hand can be a little camera shy---Dana knew exactly how to make him come out of his shell for pictures and genuinely make us laugh for great photographs! We first started working with Dana for our engagement pictures about a year before our wedding. Dana drove all the way from Charleston to my farm outside of Charlotte, NC in order to give me the fall engagement pictures I have aways wanted. Our engagement photos were stunning, so I knew our wedding day would be perfect as well, and I was certainly right!! Dana was so accommodating, timely, and flexible. She wanted to make sure I got every shot that I wanted on our wedding day. All of her photographs were simply stunning as well. I have had so many people comment on how amazing my photographer was, and they couldn't be more accurate. I have spent hours obsessing over every picture she took on our wedding day. Her photographs are vibrant, fun, and really capture so many important moments perfectly. One thing I love is that they aren't "over edited" but are instead so real and fabulous in quality. Dana was always fast in communication, incredibly prompt in getting photos back to us, and even gives a sneak peak within 24 hrs!! Thank you so much, Dana, for being such an incredible and wonderful photographer and person/friend to us both through our wedding journey. Well what can I say about Dana that hasn't already been said? As you can see by the many reviews about her work, Dana has AMAZING photography skills. My husband and I were blown away by how great out wedding photos turned out. During the planning process there were many difficult decisions I had to make and selecting my wedding photographer was not one of them! That was one of the first decisions I made because I knew right away who I wanted to work with! Dana's great online website made it so easy to see that she is a fun and playful photographer with a great eye. I loved working with her on the day of my wedding and I knew she was a pro so I trusted her completely! We are so happy with Dana- she is worth every penny.

Dana was extremely responsive in all our emails / calls/ face-times before wedding day. She was willing to work with our wedding day timeline and re-arrange a few things to make sure I felt 110% comfortable with the flow. She and her assistant make a great team. They were extremely professional throughout the whole day / night and the pictures are something I am able to take away and have the rest of my life. They are absolutely stunning. She's a "quick" photographer in the sense she's so good at what she's doing, the pictures just flew by. There was no awkward standing around, trying to figure out how to pose. She just took lead, told us what to do and it made the day extremely stress free! If I had to do it all over again, I would pick her in a heart beat. Dana and her crew of assistant photographers were the best wedding vendors we chose for our wedding day, and I don't say this lightly. Out of all of our wedding vendors, Dana was the most kind, professional and went above and beyond to treat me like a special bride. For example, she stopped by the hair salon to pick up my wedding dress+ my bridesmaid dresses, as well as all of our wedding details in order to photograph them before we got to our location. She answered every e-mail so quickly and thoroughly and last but not least HER PHOTOGRAPHY IS AMAZING!! To be honest when I was choosing wedding vendors, photography was not super high on my priority list of things to spend the money on, but when our planner suggested her based on our budget I thought her website looked very nice and picture were great quality. My expectations were FAR exceeded, and EVERYONE who has seen our wedding photos has been blown away by them. We have gotten so many compliments on them that I truly believe she was our best investment for our wedding day. I am so glad we had the opportunity to work with such a talented wedding professional, and on top of that she was so kind and thoughtful. Thank you Dana!!

I could not be happier with my experience with Dana and her team as our wedding photographer. She was incredibly helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. She has so much experience and knowledge and goes above and beyond in so many ways. She is willing to offer advice on everything wedding - not just on photography - and she has a TON of great advice (check her blog). She worked with me and my husband to get us wonderful photos both downtown and on Shem Creek, which could have been a logistical nightmare, but it went very smooth. I would choose her as my wedding photographer over and over again. Our wedding photos are amazing. Dana captured every detail and every moment just perfectly. Not only is she a wonderful resource in wedding planning, and an incredibly talented photographer, but she is a genuinely kind and wonderful person.

Dana's wedding photos for my sons wedding were amazing! She coordinated everything before, during, and after the wedding extremely well with all members of the wedding party. Dana has a natural ability to put together incredible photos with wedding items, choose beautiful backgrounds for the wedding party and capture perfectly random wedding/reception photos. Dana and her team were absolutely amazing and I cannot thank them enough for the incredible job they did with our wedding (and engagement) photos. From the minute we first spoke to the goodbye on our wedding day, Dana went above and beyond to make our day spectacular. Not only did she humor all of my questions about whether or not the color of my bridesmaids dresses would photograph well, she provided so much helpful information to make us feel at ease about our photos. Our actual wedding day was one of the hottest of the year in Charleston so far and her and her girls never once complained about the heat during the almost 12 hours we spent together. They always had a smile on their face and kept me at ease throughout the day. The photos themselves are something we will treasure forever. Dana and her second shooter, Caroline, were literally the best ever. Not only are our pictures GORGEOUS, but they were finished within just a couple weeks! They're so much fun and so sweet...we were laughing all day (which made for some more great pictures!). I hadn't been able to meet Dana before the wedding, but she made us all feel so comfortable that it didn't matter at all. She is by far the best in Charleston!

Dana was an absolute dream. She really captured our day and was so warm and pleasant to work with. Her pictures are amazing and she made everyone feel comfortable and at ease. She was also incredibly responsive, I had about a million questions going into the day and she made sure to answer each and every one of them, she really put my mind at ease. We also had a tropical storm hit the day before (luckily it was dry our day!) and she really alleviated my concerns about the weather and brought her bridal good luck with her so we had a dry day! She captured everything and I cannot wait to sit and go through every single photo. She also went above and beyond, she picked up our details from the hotel and took them out to the venue with her!!! No flaws at all!! She was wonderful for our weekday elopement, pricing was extremely reasonable, personally was very warm and friendly. We were nervous about hiring someone without meeting or doing an engagement session with them first, but she was perfect. Since we had an elopement, we requested to have all information off of social media and she was very accommodating at helping us keep our secret, but still gave us edited photos for when we told our family back home less than a week later! So many photos and so quick! She also brought a second shooter, not something we expected for a small elopement, and the second shooter was a fantastic addition as well, my husband and i felt very spoiled. There was rain in the forecast, and she was willing to move to another day that week if we wanted, she brought extra umbrellas if it did rain, was prepared with a wooden hanger to take dress pictures,and was at the location shooting with us longer than the 2 hrs we agreed on. A fantastic experience and beautiful photos that we will have forever, thank you so much Dana!

BOOK HER NOW! It was so important to my hubby and I that we connected with our photographer- Dana took us out to Taco Boy and talked about what was import at to us in photography and she exceeded all our wishes! Dana is very organized and so helpful- she helped us properly plan our day and decorate our venue so that we got the BEST photos. I CANNOT stop looking at our pictures and can't wait to order an album and take a newlywed photo shoot with her. Dana and her team are the best. We landed to an email with our gallery ready WAY earlier than expected and it was the best gift ever. The DALBYS love you Dana!!!

I simply don’t know where to begin when it comes to Dana….seriously, she leaves me speechless! Dana is hands down the best photographer I could have ever dreamed of working with. Not only are her images insanely gorgeous, she is one of the absolute sweetest people to work with. Dana’s dedication to her craft, and to her brides, is unique, humbling, and inspirational. She is there every step of the way providing recommendations for everything from engagement photo outfits, to the perfect reception lighting, to awesome vendors to work with. Friends and family are still raving about her and her amazing work! Dana did an absolutely amazing job documenting our wedding day! We could not believe how beautiful our pictures turned out and how Dana was able to capture the day perfectly. Her previous experiences shooting at Magnolia Plantation was very useful as she new exactly where to bring us for the best shots. She was extremely easy to work with and made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera.

Dana is so amazing and so so talented! We could not have asked for a better photographer for both our engagement pictures and especially for our wedding day. We absolutely love our pictures and she really captures the story and feeling of the whole day. She is so wonderful to work with and very responsive and reliable. I've loved Dana's work since I saw some of her pet photography at my local vet. When I got engaged, she was definitely a front runner for our wedding photographer. When I contacted her, even though she was out of town at a conference, she responded right away. We met for margaritas and showed me some of her work and I was sold! I booked right away, and my now husband and I couldn't be more thankful that we did. She was incredibly easy to work with, and even showed up to my bridal portraits with treats for my dog! She helped me out immensely coming up with a plan for the day, and was flexible when things ended up getting delayed. She and her second shooter for my wedding Emily were amazing. They captured everything. Before, during, and after the ceremony. Seriously, so many amazing pictures! Our families all raved about her! She took the time to get to us, which is so important. We were absolutely not disappointed. I'm also glad that we went with the full day coverage. We weren't limited with coverage, which meant that we got a bunch of really fun reception pictures! I'd definitely recommend if you're on the fence. She's seriously awesome!

DANA WAS AMAZING! She responded to my emails within the day, sometimes (and most often) within the hour. I loved how I felt like her friend throughout the process. Every exchange I had with her put me at ease. Dana was extremely flexible with me with scheduling our engagement pictures. It impressed me that she was always willing to plan for rain or a possible rain check. The BEST part of using Dana is how she calmed my nerves on my wedding day! I was extremely nervous about getting my dress dirty, but she helped me quickly work past that. My friends were in shock that Dana had a picture for me THE NEXT DAY! I had all of my wedding pictures before I knew it. Dana works around the clock to keep all of her deadlines. She's a gem in a world of "I'll get back to you". You will not regret booking her :)

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Dana twice for our wedding. First, she shot our engagement photos. She instantly makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera and has a great eye for unique shots. Then she photographed our wedding day. She not only captured the details, but the wedding party photos to the pictures of me and my husband look so natural, this was important for me as I didn't want our photos to look too posed. Not only is her photography fantastic, she was truly wonderful to work with, one of my favorite wedding vendors. She had superior attention to detail and was diligent in getting us our photos in a speedy manner (which is really exciting, I could not wait to see them). For me, choosing a photographer is one of the most important decisions a bride and groom have to make, because this is what you have to look at when the big day is done (aside from the great memories and marrying your soulmate). I would highly recommend Dana to those looking for a wedding photographer, she is top notch!

Dana is truly incredible! I can't express how happy we were working with her. She was very responsive, professional, and most importantly organized. She let me know everything that she would need from me the day of the wedding, which is very important when you are keeping a running list of items. She has an awesome personality that makes you feel completely comfortable and like a million bucks! As far as the pictures, she is speedy and very high quality. I don't think she takes a bad picture, and that is saying a lot considering our rowdy wedding guests! She is amazing, and you will be so happy you chose her!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dana... I would recommend her to anyone, anytime, anywhere they are getting married! I am an out-of-state bride who had difficulty getting to Charleston for my bridal portraits and Dana really made sure to work with my schedule. When my bridal portrait location cancelled on me last minute, Dana took time out of her vacation to recommend local places for me to contact. She made my very shy fiance feel so comfortable during our photos and he won't stop raving about her either! We got married during a hurricane, when half of Charleston was flooded and she left a couple of days before our wedding and stayed in a hotel to be sure that she would make it. Her pictures are so beautiful and she really makes you feel special. In summary, Dana is amazing!
