I can't say enough amazing things about Dana! Dana was one of the first vendors I booked for my wedding on 6/20/2020 and I knew from the start she was going to be great! The first time I met Dana was at our engagement photo shoot and she made the session so much fun and made us feel so at ease in the front of the camera! When we got our pictures back from the engagement shoot I was absolutely floored about how phenomenal they turned out! Unfortunately, our initial wedding date didn't work out due to the coronavirus but Dana was extremely flexible with us rescheduling. Now, on to the wedding day...Dana was even more amazing! I ended up forgetting my wedding flowers and Dana was sweet enough to not only pick up my flowers before arriving to the venue but even offered to pick us up Starbucks on the way! Dana truly made our wedding day go smoothly and not only acted as our photographer but also stepped up as a coordinator to make sure we enjoyed our day to the fullest. Dana was a HUGE hit with our friends and family. She made our vision for our coastal/beach themed wedding pictures come true. Dana is extremely talented at what she does and I 100% recommend her to any brides and grooms out there! -

Dana is amazing! From our first meeting to post-wedding, she is very responsive, considers our needs as the couple, and went above and beyond in the days before the wedding day and during the wedding itself. She brought an incredible team of a second shooter and assistant, who made sure my veil and dress were perfect for every shot, and the whole day was just so fun! From donuts and champagne pops while getting ready, to the ceremony, formal photos, and the reception and late-night tacos. The photos turned out AMAZING and I am in aww at Dana’s talent. I highly recommend her! -

Dana's the BEST!
I have endless nice things to say about Dana and her team. We initially reached out to Dana inquiring about her wedding day packages and were impressed with the lightning fast response time, the ease of use and clarity of her packages and of course her stunning photography! After an initial call, we felt like Dana was already a lifelong friend of ours and immediately knew this was the wedding photographer for us! Over the past year, Dana has sent us the sweetest welcome package, given us the best photos of us and our dog we've ever had, made us laugh and ensured to get every and I mean EVERY single one of the photos from our wedding we dreamed of. If you're looking for a Wedding Photographer who's a master of a light and airy look and getting family members to show their biggest smiles, Dana is the absolute best choice! -

Where to start!!! Choosing Dana as our photographer was the best decision I made for our intimate wedding on the beach. The moment she arrived she really took charge and made sure I got all of the photos I wanted which included different combinations with over 20 people. I loved every single photo and it was everything I wanted and more. The bride and groom photos were absolutely perfect and we are two people who generally feel awkward taking photos. She made the experience so fun and comfortable and we couldn’t believe how well they turned out! It’s a huge decision trusting someone to take the photos you will have of your special day for the rest of your life and I’m so happy we chose Dana. She is down to earth and hilarious and was a friend to us on our big day and most importantly I didn’t have to worry about a thing once she arrived because of the way she took control, it was a huge pressure off of me and I’m so grateful to her. You will be in great hands if you choose her as a photographer, thank you Dana!! -

Dana. is. bomb! I knew she was going to be a good fit during our first phone call just because of her personality. Through the whole wedding process she kept checking on me which I appreciated so much. It was nice to be able to rant to someone about all that we were dealing with due to covid but she remained so positive! The wedding day came and she got right to work! She is definitely assertive but I think thats something that is needed!! She cracked jokes the whole time which we loved. Having to wrangle family/ wedding party to make sure you get all the shots and stay on time is not easy! I got my gallery yesterday and was floored. It was everything I hoped for and so much more... not one bad photo! I'd give her 10 stars if I could. -

She’s amazing!!!
I’m all about first impression and she gave me a good one even before we meet in person. I didn’t even need to meet her to book with her. I loved her work since the day I saw her Instagram page.
We had a pandemic in our way, two postponements and as the cherry on top, she moved to California and even with all these things, she NEVER… NEVER… EVER let me down.
I would recommend Dana for every single person that ask me about photos. She’s my favorite bossy photographer and I’m so sad that I don’t have to bother her anymore asking question haha.

Dana is absolutely incredible with her craft! She was nothing but professional and fun from the initial contact! We decided to hire Dana for our wedding for her light, magical photo style and we decided to add an engagement session to our package. We were so impressed with our engagement session the first time we met that I then asked her to do a mini shoot for my 30th birthday! For all three occasions Dana provided beautiful, timeless, classic photos in a timely manner! She is so fun and makes you feel comfortable and at ease. Dana was also patient and kind--with COVID we had to postpone our wedding and plans changed, she was willing to work with us through it all and provide us peace of mind. Dana's personality shines through just as bright as her pictures! We have decided she is our "family" photographer for all special occasions! I highly recommend her! -

I met Dana at a wedding in San Rafael. She was so helpful with the timeline and paid attention to detail when photographing the bride (making sure there weren't unpleasant distractions in the background). She had great energy and was honestly a pleasure to be around. I would definitely recommend her to all future brides! She was also lightning fast with some sneek peeks of the wedding LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! -

Our 175 guests went down to 10 due to Covid but we have the best pictures in light of the pandemic. We are happy with our new marriage and have the photos for great memories. -

Couldn’t have asked for a better photographer!
Finding the perfect photographer for your wedding can be stressful. You want someone who will capture everything perfectly and someone who truly cares about you. That’s exactly what I found in Dana. From day one Dana wanted to know everything about us, we weren’t just another customer. She kept in touch with us during the time leading up to the wedding and made sure we had everything we needed. Not only was she our photographer she was our personal hype girl. Dana fit right in with our family and she shared many jokes and laughs with my mom while we were getting ready for the wedding. She truly cares about her brides and grooms and you can see that in her work. I highly recommend Dana and couldn’t have asked for a better photographer for our big day. -

Dana was absolutely phenomenal. From our engagement pictures, to our wedding day, and after when she delivered our gallery, Dana has been amazing. For our engagement shoot, Dana was able to get my shy husband to come out of his shell and actually enjoyed our shoot (if you knew him, this would be a shock!) She delivered our gallery shortly after and all of the pictures were incredible. She did such a wonderful job of capturing our love and personalities.
The week before our wedding, YES THE WEEK BEFORE, I asked her if it was too late to add a second shooter. She had someone who was free that weekend and immediately reached out to book her. I was honestly expecting that it was too late but nope, Dana hooked us up.
The week of our wedding, she reached out and chatted with me - a somewhat nervous bride - about timelines and expectations for the day. She reassured me everything would go smoothly and never made me feel like I was bothering her when I asked her questions.
The wedding day - it was finally here. Dana came in while I was getting ready. She greeted me and gathered the details (shoes, veil, dress, jewelry, invites, and rings) which she had told me to set aside while I was getting ready. Dana is a big personality and anyone who’s taken pictures of big groups knows this is essential to stay on schedule, make sure everyone is looking at the camera, and make sure that passers by do not throw off the shot! Her attention to detail, energy, humor, and assertiveness totally made for an amazing package in a photographer. She captured our ceremony (which was the most important part to us) beautifully and our sparkler exit was the highlight of the shots.
Picking a photographer is one of the most important things for your big day. Dana includes an engagement session with her wedding package. So we met her before our big day. Leading up to our wedding, I was worried about not necessarily knowing all of the other vendors the way I knew Dana. I was at ease because I already trusted Dana, her work, and knew her style. Do not underestimate a photographers impact on your big day. Photographers like Dana make you feel at ease when you haven’t met any other vendor. I cannot recommend her enough!!! Thank you for helping make this the best day of my life!!! -

My husband and I knew right away from a 30minute phone call that we wanted Dana to photograph our wedding. She was fun and joked with us and made us feel very confident in her ability. I wasn’t entirely sure about how I would look in her light and airy style with my pale skin but she reassured me she would make me look good, and boy was she right. From the free engagement session to the extra mini session we requested at our walk through to the day of the wedding, all of Dana’s pictures were amazing! I have gotten SO many complements on our pictures! Not just the quality of work but also Dana’s quirky and fun and “bossy” personality is what we loved. She knew how to take charge and get the shots we wanted, and I loved it! My husband doesn’t like being in front of the camera but her and her second shooter, Sarah, made him feel at ease and he actually enjoyed taking pictures with me! She’s gone above and beyond with making all my little requests happen and was very accommodating when I wanted a different set of formal family portraits than what she’s used to. Thank you so much for everything Dana, the Ramey’s will miss having you in VB, but if we’re ever in Cali we will definitely get more pictures taken!❤️ -

Dana was such a joy to work with! We had to reschedule three times either due to weather or my fiance's military schedule, and she was so accommodating. She made our photo shoot so much fun. We even were able to bring our Aussie along for the photo shoot. I would highly recommend her! -

Dana is nothing short of amazing! She made sure our special day was fluid, as our photographer. I was running a little late the day of but she kept me calm and was loved by our wedding party. She made sure the moving parts flowed and worked well with our videographers! Dana is a wonderful natural light photographer & her personality makes her that much better! I would definitely recommend to any bride-to-be -

Dana is simply AMAZING! Truly more than a photographer. From the first day we meet on the phone we felt like we were best friends from YEARS! Brace yourself, because this is gonna be a long one.
For me, pictures are so important, my dad raised me that way. So when it came to my wedding, I did a lot of searching for a photographer and I'm SO SO grateful I found Dana. Your wedding really does go by so quick, but she captured every moment PERFECTLY. Normally, having your pictures taken over and over can get, well annoying, but Dana kept it fun and energetic. Her personality is phenomenal. She got pictures we never would have thought we wanted. She did every picture we asked for and so much more. As the bride, she made me feel beautiful in all my photos. Her prices are so right, but I would pay thousands of dollars more for the photos that she gave us. We are already planning to have her take our family photos next year. To cut it short, Dana is amazing and you need her to photograph you so stop looking elsewhere. :) -

Incredibly fun, professional, and personable
Dana took my husband and I out to the beach for a sunrise shoot and it was incredible. The sunrise was perfect, the lighting was flawless, and her work was effortless. She posed us well and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Her pictures came out so stunning! -

I 100% Recommend! My wedding photos are STUNNING!
When I was trying to plan my wedding, I decided that my photographer was my #1 priority. I knew the day would go so fast, and that all I would have to look back on that day would be photos- so I really needed a reliable and talented photographer. I did a lot of looking online and came across Dana by chance via "Bark". Let me tell you- what a blessing that was! I didn't have thousands and thousands of dollars to spend on a photographer like some other brides-to-be, so I couldn't believe I was able to afford someone as good as Dana. First of all, she is a lovely person. My (then) fiance and I had never had photos taken before so we were nervous- Dana made us feel at ease with her friendly/upbeat personality- all while posing us for the perfect shot. Our engagement photos were fantastic- but when I saw our wedding photos- WOW. She gave us so many photos, I have probably 100 favorites. On my wedding day, I'll be honest- there were a few times I felt stressed out (a lot was going on that day..). However, Dana was as cool as a cucumber and helped chill out an anxious bride. She made me feel SO beautiful on my wedding day, and she went above and beyond to get the perfect shot (plus, she ironed my brother's groomsmen outfit when he failed to do so! How helpful is that??) I could go on forever about how great Dana was- so I'll wrap it up here and say, if you're looking for a photographer you can count on for absolutely stunning photos, look no further. Dana Arnold Photography definitely fits the bill! Thanks again Dana!!! -

A dream in the desert
Dana is an amazing photographer! The shoot was so much fun and she made us feel super comfortable in front of the camera. Everything felt very natural and we often found ourselves getting caught in the moment and forgetting that we were being photographed! We couldn't wait to see the pictures. She got them back to us much sooner than expected and they were beautiful. She truly met every expectation that we ever had plus so much more. Our Session with Dana
Dana is amazing. She is super friendly and keeps the vibe of the session as light and fun as possible. My husband, who hates having his picture taken, even laughed a few times. Our photos were amazing and the turn around was fantastic, especially since Dana was traveling from Hawaii to Virginia in between. I highly recommend booking with her! You won't regret it! -

Absolutely Perfect!
My experience with Dana Arnold Photography was absolutely amazing. Dana made the whole experience so much fun. I love that Dana asks to know about you upfront. We messaged back and forth about what I was looking for and what location she recommended. She offered tips for outfits and even brought props to the shoot. (including home baked cupcakes!) Dana, being a military spouse as well, knew exactly how to relate to my husband and made him genuinely smile and laugh throughout the session. We took the photos on a Saturday evening, she sent me previews that night and I received the entire gallery Monday night! 2 days!! I was blown away with the turnaround time and the photos. The photos are everything I could have asked for. Unfortunately Dana is moving away but if our paths ever cross again, I would definitely ask her to take our photos again. -

She made me feel beautiful
I’ve used Dana Arnold photography twice. I used her for couples pictures and I also used her for professional headshots. I’m awkward and used to being behind the camera vs. being in front of it. Dana was so friendly and made me feel beautiful. She takes tons of pictures and gets many great shots. The way she edits her pictures makes everything look light and airy and beautiful. I would recommend her for any type of occasion and her pricing is EXTREMELY fair for the quality of art you get! Plus she has a quick turn around time for edits. She is amazing and you won’t regret picking her to capture your memories -

Beyond Expectations!
From the start Dana was print at answering my questions and was able to squeeze me in for a mini shoot last minute. To say her skills are excellent would be an understatement, she literally took a door backdrop and made it look phenomenal. Everything is tailed to you specifically when working with Dana, I love the fact that she pushes each one of her photos to be the best. For the value of the service and with the prints being so cheap to order I would definitely recommend. -

Wonderful beachfront family shoot!
I cannot say enough that Dana was such a great choice for our family beachfront photos! From our initial conversation on, she was so helpful and willing to listen to all my ideas (even those that seemed ridiculous including my outfit choice!). The beach she found we hadn’t even heard of- and it was the perfect location to capture at Sunset! The evening lighting was timed perfectly.
During our shoot, she made us feel very comfortable and worked with what we felt naturally. I loved every single photo that came out from that day. Our ease can be felt when viewing in each photo. I have included some of my favorites with this review.
Pricewise, Dana was incredibly reasonable, especially with some of the competition within our location on Oahu. We felt that we got more than our monies worth, and we’re so thankful it was affordable for our family!
100% I would have her photograph us again and am so sad to lose her local to us here in Hawaii! -

Her prices are fantastic and she could probably be charging waaay more. She was a professional in every sense of the word on my big day. We had a beach wedding and she expertly positioned us for the best lighting (no squinting in the bright sunlight!), got down flat on her stomach in the sand for a shot and stepped on a giant thorn...she pulled it out and kept moving like a boss. She posted a beautiful blog post that we were able to share with family and friends AND had our full gallery online for us to view in under 24 hours! (Note- we had a very simple ceremony that lasted about 15 min). Dana is super sweet and personable and we LOVED our photos. She did an amazing job.

Sara Sent on 04/17/2018Dana was amazing - she found us a perfect spot (since I'm not super familiar with Oahu's beaches, and coming from the mainland to be married on our first full day), which was a huge bonus. She was flexible and helpful the whole way. She was super sweet, upbeat, and the photographs are beautiful.
It was just me, my husband, the minister and Dana, so having the right person in place was a critical. Dana was the absolute right person. On top of that, we had our digital photos in *TWO* days! Unbelievable.
If you work with her, you won't regret it! -
