We worked with Caroline for our June wedding at Tappan Hill in Tarrytown. She was extremely helpful and responsive right from the start, and able to accommodate my exact vision for our wedding. The flowers at the wedding and the table settings were stunning. I was absolutely blown away. I could not recommend this company more. -

Ashley and the team at Damselfly Designs are truly amazing. From the moment we met Ashley, we knew she would be perfect to help do the floral and light work for our wedding – it proved to be true.
Ashely is so easy to work with. She is professional, friendly and very knowledgeable.
We had multiple virtual meetings and went to the showroom in person to get a sense for what we wanted on our wedding day. The planning process was super smooth and straightforward. We really liked how hard Ashley worked to make our vision of the day come to life. She helped guide us, answered our questions and knew our venue well but she was great with helping bring to life our thoughts.
She worked so well with our day of coordinator and the venue planner.
The floral work itself on the wedding day was so stunning. Everything was beautiful and even more than we had anticipated.
The team also did a lot of lighting work for us (icicle lights above the dance floor, candles, etc.) and it was truly spectacular.
If you have the chance to work with Ashley and the team – you simply must do it. -

Incredible Wedding Florist
We worked with Damselfly Designs for our 5/11 wedding at Tappan Hill and were beyond impressed!
The florals were gorgeous, bouquets perfect, arch immaculate, centerpieces PURE LUXURY!
Everything was simply elegant; they truly brought our vision to life.
Special shoutout to Ashley! It was a pleasure working with her. Her dependable communication, professionalism, and calming nature really made this a special experience for us. -

Fantastic Florist!
Damselfly not only delivered beautiful arrangements, but they were amazing to work with! We used them for our wedding at Tappan Hill Mansion in Nov. 2023. I miscounted the number of groomsmen and they were able to send over additional boutonnieres that afternoon, which saved the day! The flowers were great quality and beautifully put together. Caroline had such great ideas and was responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. She took my Pinterest board and turned it into reality while also incorporating special components to honor my grandparents. Highly recommend! -

We worked with Ashley and she was amazing! The florals at our wedding were absolutely stunning. The centerpieces left us breathless. We wanted to be surrounded in greenery and Ashley did an amazing job bringing our visions to life. The bridal arrangement was so unique and beautiful, it really felt one of a kind. Damselfly brought my visions entirely to life. I was concerned about how to approach my wedding florals, because I'm not much for traditional flowers — I preferred leaves and herbs that mirrored the colors of fall, wanted a bit of asymmetry in my bouquet and ceremony decoration, and was adamant about using local plants whenever possible. And their creations were PERFECT!
What's more, they were super responsive and helpful with every question I asked. Would highly recommend working with them. -

We could not have been more pleased with our wedding arrangements. We used Damselfly Designs for both our rehearsal dinner and all elements of our wedding. They took care of absolutely everything and were so organized and efficient. The arrangements were above and beyond and made the venue so spectacular. I would highly recommend to everyone. Incredible is the best word to describe working with Damselfly Designs. I worked directly with Caroline, our Wedding Event Stylist, throughout the entire experience and she was absolutely wonderful in helping us create beautiful arrangements in our color theme and within our budget.
We first met virtually for a design consultation where she answered any questions we had, and provided great ideas to help us achieve our vision. She created a well thought-out creative brief that highlighted the colors we wanted, what flowers she had in mind for that season, and provided a vision board of how she envisioned execution. She even allowed us to source our own candles and vases for the tables to help on costs - which we arranged for drop-off around a month before the event. Caroline even helped the venue pack up the candles at the end of the night.
Caroline and her talented team completely went above and beyond to make our wedding magical, and we are so grateful we went with Damselfly Designs as our florist. I wholeheartedly recommend their services, and completely plan to use them in the future. -

I used Damselfly Designs as my wedding florist and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Starting with Caroline and her support from the very beginning, I felt completely confident in their ability to bring my wedding day to life. They also were so accommodating and worked within my budget creatively. They built a custom arch for our ceremony, had the perfect touch of florals all around our cocktail hour, and brought our ballroom to life in an elegant and romantic way with beautiful centerpieces, bouquets, and dramatic taper candles. So thrilled with our wedding florals!!
We are just SO thrilled with how our wedding florals turned out. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Looking back at photos of all the arrangements continues to bring so much joy! When we started the planning process, we weren't sure how much we wanted to prioritize flowers, but in retrospect, we are so glad we ended up investing in them. Even though my point-of-contact changed halfway through planning, our notes and vision were transferred seamlessly to our new point person, Caroline. We knew wanted a bright, vibrant, summery palette, and Caroline took our disjointed, sketchy ideas and shaped them into something so magical and stunning. She was friendly and responsive over email and phone, always with a solution and open to feedback, and we enjoyed meeting her in person to see a sample arrangement and discuss our details. Our chuppah, bouquets, centerpieces, and accents were all so gorgeous. We received so many compliments on the colors and designs. She and her team truly went above and beyond and worked so well with our venue, Tappan Hill, on the setup and breakdown - we didn't have to worry about a thing on the day of our wedding. Amazing florist!
Damselfly Designs brought our vision to life. From the first time I spoke with Ashley I could tell how excited she was as we were to bring our handmade floral copper stands to life. She guided us from start to finish with multiple phone calls, meetings, and endless emails to ensure we achieved everything we dreamed of. It is impossible to adequately describe how fortunate and lucky we were to have Damselfly Designs – and especially Ashley – design our wedding flowers. Like many other couples, COVID forced us to switch venues and dates multiple times. During each one of these shifts, Ashely was never phased and quickly pivoted to our new reality. What really stood out for us was our first postponement where we were a bit panicked, stressed, and didn’t know what to exactly do. Despite everything, Ashley told us to not worry about the flowers – that they would make anything work and to do whatever new date/venue worked best for us. I cannot explain enough how much Ashley’s kindness meant to us in that moment.
Beyond being incredibly kind, she and the whole team at Damselfly are ridiculously talented and flawlessly delivered on our bright and vibrant fall foliage vision. Seriously, people couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful and stunning they were. Cannot recommend Ashley and Damselfly enough. They will take the time to get to know you and truly understand your vision. They will work with you whatever your budget is (without compromising on quality or aesthetics), and they will ensure that you have the most beautiful flowers you have ever seen in your life. Simply put, they are incredible to work with and I cannot recommend them enough!

I'm so, so happy I hired Damselfly Designs for my wedding! Lyndsay did gorgeous work and had great ideas for bringing a "celestial" vibe to my summer wedding with sparkly LED lights inside lanterns and mercury glass for the vases and votive holders. We received so many compliments on the flowers—one of the staff members at the venue told me they were the most beautiful wedding flowers she'd ever seen. If you're looking for a vendor who is creative, detail-oriented, and organized, look no further! -

As the Father of the Bride I came to this with a somewhat different perspective than most brides to be. The bride did most of the legwork, but I'm here to say the results were great. The whole experience with Ashley at Damselfly was superb. She listened to my vision of how I would like our wedding to look and realised it with her creative designs to capture just what we were looking for. There was so much natural beauty at the Castle Spa in Tarrytown, and Ashley accentuated it with the colors and flowers we love. Everything went without a hitch. The bouquets were gorgeous and the tables looked brilliant. Everything was professional and could not ask for a better experience. It also was so nice to not have to worry I felt I was in very capable hands from first meeting to our big day. I would absolutely recommend Damselfly to all Brides and Grooms and for all occasions. -

My husband and I were overjoyed with Traci's work. Our flowers and centerpieces were more beautiful than we could have dreamed of and everything truly looked magical when guests entered the ballroom. Traci was also such a pleasure to work with from day one until right up to our ceremony. She really understood our vision and was so patient with us as we went back and forth to determine the arrangements that would work best for us. I cannot say enough positive things about Traci and the team. She was so responsive and flexible throughout the entire planning process and everything came together flawlessly. Our chupah and the flowers were even more perfect than we described them to be in our vision and guests were very impressed as well. The tea lights and votives and lanterns added even more of a pop to the day, and we really appreciated her guidance with these details. Absolutely recommend this wonderful florist! -

Shout out to Ashley for being the sweetest, most accommodating, creative, and talented florist we could have ever imagined. From the moment my husband and I met Ashley, we knew right away Damselfly Designs was the florist we wanted to work with for our wedding day. Ashley immediately understood our vision and was able to provide so many amazing ideas to enhance our vision. Throughout the process, we made a few revisions to what we wanted, and Ashley was so accommodating and flexible. The day of the wedding we were blown away with how it all came to life. Damselfly Designs gave us the wedding of our dreams! From the chuppah to the bouquet to the centerpieces, it really was just so special and beautiful.
One additional thing we would like to note: On an occasion when we visited Damselfly’s showroom, a lot of the team members were there, and the centerpieces and designs that we saw were INCREDIBLE! Everyone there had a smile on their face and the team was working all together. It was such a great experience, and you can see the passion, thoughtfulness, care, and heart this team has for their work.
If we could do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a thing! Thank you so much Damselfly Designs and Ashley for making our wedding weekend a dream come true!

When I first reached out to Traci, I immediately felt her professionalism and kindness through our first email communication. She was extremely thorough, asking detailed questions regarding my vision, color palette, requesting my Pinterest board link, and she provided an initial cost list. Following up on the phone she walked me through the entire wedding day, soup to nuts, and was just as excited as I was! I absolutely loved her enthusiasm. In meeting her for the first time, I knew we would be a longer consultation because my Fiance and I have two completely different perspectives on what we wanted for our floral arrangements. Traci was able to combine both of our visions into a happy compromise between the two us - and take the best from his and mine to create an amazing centerpiece. When we left we both agreed we loved her vibe and wanted to book her. She nailed our vision board, and was able to find a perfect compromise between our polar opposite tastes! We highly recommend her! -

Everything was so beautiful: my bouquet, the flower crowns, and reception space. Our colors were silver/grey, white and green. We wanted a whimsical but clean atmosphere, and Damselfly surpassed our expectations! We are more than pleased with everything and so thankful we picked Damselfly Designs as our florist. Traci also collaborated with our cake designer and made the wedding cake of our dreams!

Exceeded expectations, simply gorgeous
Damselfly created the most gorgeous arrangements, bouquets and chuppah for our wedding last year. Proceed with caution
Damselfly Designs is great if you don't have a specific vision of what you want; if you have something specific in mind, make sure you schedule the sample meeting. I didn't give them too many specifics of the arch and it turned out beautiful, as did my bouquet and my bridesmaids'.
However, I had a very specific vision of what I wanted my tall centerpieces to look like, and the picture of what I wanted was included in the contract. Luckily I scheduled a meeting for a sample centerpiece, because the sample they created was nowhere close to what I had requested, and I would have been devastated if that's what they had prepared on my wedding day (see photos attached of what was in the contract and what they prepared at the sample meeting).
After the disastrous sample, I followed up with more information, some revisions, and additional pictures of what I had in mind, and what they put together for the actual wedding was a lot closer to what I asked for. However, when I got to the venue and first saw the centerpieces it was clear they didn't completely execute what I asked for. The colors specified in the contract were whites, ivories, light pinks, and limited greens, however every single arrangement had several orange (specifically, coral) peonies. Coral was not mentioned anywhere in the contract. I spoke with the coordinator on site and she said they would substitute all of the coral flowers with the light pink hydrangeas they had. Unfortunately, some of the centerpieces still had a single coral peony which looked so stupid and out of place. The contract states that if they need to make substitutions, they "will choose the best flowers, colors and textures that will seamlessly work for the design composition and style unique to this contract." However, I don't think anybody would argue that orange is an appropriate substitute for light pink.
In addition to the above, the corsages for the mothers and grandmothers were brown and dying, so that was disappointing as well. -

It was a very rocky not easy start to work with Traci and her team at Damselfly Designs for my wedding. I felt like I was contently being talked down to and was disrespected. I would not recommend them to anyone for anything. Working with them was the biggest pain for my wedding, all my other vendors/venue where amazing. If they recommend using fake flowers, say no. You can totally tell. At the end of my wedding this company took 36 pillar candles and holder(assuming by mistake since they brought some in for the centerpieces). They denied all of this and told me maybe someone else took them(The other person was my Aunt lol). Then they blamed the venue who felt so bad that this happened, they ended up reimbursing me some of the money I spend on them.
However this company did not offer to support us at all. Please put your money and time for you event to a company that will care and support you. -

If I could give a negative review I would. I was suppose to get married in Spring of 2020 and my wedding got cancelled because of COVID-19 after trying to make this work numerous time, my reams of having a wedding was rushed. Damselfly is keeping the 50% of the total and will not give it back. They will only let me have credit in flowers for the future. At this point they told me I should use it for my baby shower. But after years battle infertility issue I found that response to be highly insensitive. Women have come so far but comments like this are beyond disappointing to hear.
However if I was going to use this "credit" I do not need thousands of dollars worth of credit in flowers for any event in my upcoming life.Then she went on to tell me I should have used them for my micro wedding(Which was four people and no flowers at all since it was during the spring of 2020!)
This business has left a bad taste in my mouth and if I can give any advice for brides to be it would be please use another florist that will work with you and understand you as a person.
