Amazing Venue!
Dallas Palms truly surpassed our expectations for our wedding we hosted at the venue recently. The decor was so stunning and Dallas Palms made it so easy for us to sit back and relax while they did all the prepping and planning. It was SO nice to be hands off and focus on being present on our big day rather than dealing with all the event logistics. Beautiful Venue
I love everything about this venue. Absolutely Beautiful. Cathy did an absolutely amazing job with the venue decor! Every detail was beautifully executed, and she truly brought the vision to life. From the colors to the setup, everything was flawless. On top of her talent, Cathy was such a pleasure to work with—professional, kind, and incredibly easy to communicate with. Magical Venue
We held our Sangeet/Pithi event at Dallas Palms. The initial attraction to the venue was the size (Bel-Air room) and the option to have part of the event outside. The place is GORGEOUS! The wood flooring is clean, the chandaliers are large and beautiful, the walls are decorated well and the outside is green and manicured so well. That's just the shell. Cathy, the event coordinator, was so fun to work with. She wanted to make sure we had a magical night and leverage the outdoors the way we envisioned. Her decoration decisions were BEAUTIFUL. I showed up to get ready and was floored. I couldn't believe the rich and elegant colors she used and all the decor pieces. My guests were amazed. It was exactly the way a sangeet should be. Cathy has a great eye and we really gave her creative reign over the event and I'm so glad I did. This was our favorite event and I'm so thrilled we went this venue and worked with Cathy. -

Amazing Experience and Professional
experience with Nadia and the entire team. Unfortunately due to COVID-19 the event had to be postponed as per city guidelines and that is understandable . The entire Dallas Palms team kept me well informed throughout the past two months and was easily accessible. They notified me that they would reschedule my event free of charge when the banquet hall opened. I am now looking forward to my upcoming event with them next month. I wholeheartedly recommend this banquet hall for anyone in the Dallas area because they truly make you feel like family. -

Event Planners are Magic
My husband and I were married at a local church and only had our wedding reception at Dallas Palms. From the time we stepped in the door, we were greeted warmly, professionally, and eagerly. Everyone we met was legitimately happy for us and wanted to help make our event memorable. They kept us well-informed of timelines and what was happening and would frequently advise us on the best way to implement any ideas we had.
If you are lucky enough to have Cathy as your event planner, know that you are in very capable hands and that your event will be even better than you had imagined. She made the daunting tasks of organizing, ordering, planning, sampling, taste-testing, and decorating for the reception seem like a breeze. I had no idea what I wanted for decorations; Cathy looked at all 12 photos of random floral vases and sparkly fairy lights I had managed to snag from the internet, put this tiny bit of information together with our wedding colors, and managed to pull an entire glimmering decorated room from nowhere. I have no idea how she did it and I'm still halfway convinced that she's a real-life fairy godmother.

We organized our Iftaar. Dinner at one of the halls at Dallas Palms and while. Even though, due to a medical emergency. I could not be there, over 90 guests that showed up at the party, all of them personally called and text me expressing their delight at the success of and quality of service and food at the event. Fahad Ahmed the event organizer was a special blessing for my family in my absence. He made sure that food was not short at any instance and hot fresh food supply was abundant. If you are into Desi --Pakistani. & Indian-- food, Chicken Biryani; Karahii; Bhindi (Okra); Chicken Sheeskh kabob, etc., that. I got to taste later on, were just out of this world. Beautifully lit hall was nicely organized into seating sections and ambience were immaculate. I'd definitely rent their services again and will ensure that I don't injur myself and enjoy the event inversion rather than. Envy the ones whom got to enjoy it. KUDOS Dallas Palms on a job very well done! -

We have been searching for a venue since May. One venue cancel after we had given a down payment, another one double booked us and wouldn't be able to fit both weddings and the third I've been waiting for a response or proposal for the last 3 weeks. After leaving a voicemail they called me right back scheduled a tour the next day (they waited for us after hours since we work) and they gave us all the attention in the world and most importantly hope ?? CANNOT WAIT TO PLAN AND CELEBRATE THE MOST IMPORTANT DAY OF OUR LIVES WITH DALLAS PALMS! -

Our daughter will be having her reception here in October. We found out about Dallas Palms last April at a Bridal show. Teriq, Nadia and all the staff have been wonderful in seeing my daughters vision and have been so helpful and easy to work with. The floral designer, Cathy, produced a floral work of art that is going to look amazing!! I highly recommend this gorgeous unique venue and can't wait till October to see it all come together. -

I used the Dallas Palms as the venue for our Engagement party a few days ago. Both my fiance and I live out of town, so we had my parents check out the venue and do the face-to-face interaction with them in the beginning.
I had searched months for a venue, but everyone I talked to was stretching my budget and didn't have the attention to detail that Dallas Palms has. The day I was about to sign a contract with another venue, a family friend (who happened to do an inspection at the facility that day) called me to rave about the wonderful facility and the beautiful ballrooms that I had to look into. On a whim, I decided to call them, and was immediately put in touch with Tariq, who whipped up a sample menu of options and price quote for us which was much more affordable and less stressful. I was sold when I saw the beautiful chandeliers in their ballrooms. I could never sign a contract with the other place, who had the new modern 'chandeliers' which look nothing like the elegant ones at the Dallas Palms. To top it off, they even allowed us to bring our little shih tzu puppy with us, to be a part of our event. From the beginning, Tariq, Nadia, and Bibi have been very helpful and responsive to what we wanted out of our venue. Tariq will return your phone call even if he's about to take-off on a flight!
There were a few bumps on the day of our event that were out of our control, but overall Tariq kept his promise and made sure I was pleased with my Engagement. All the employees at the venue are very responsive to requests and questions, with very prompt replies. They worked with us on last minute requests, even when I asked for uplights 2 hours before the event!
I highly recommend them for Weddings, Engagements, etc. Unfortunately I am getting married out of country, or I would have used them for my wedding reception as well. -

On October 14, 2014, my fiancé and I stopped by Dallas Palms for an evening tour to try to find a venue for our upcoming wedding in 2015. Due to our hectic schedules and traffic we arrived a bit late - 6:30 pm. The staff was very courteous even walking so late. We were given a tour of all ballrooms available, all garden views, bride/groom parlors, kitchen etc. The entire time we were given suggestions on what we could do for our wedding. We had to change our destination wedding into a local event but Dallas Palms was absolutely great. We had absolutely no intentions of booking anything and we walked out with contract in hand around 8:30 pm. We discussed food, variations of beverage options, just so helpful in all aspects. Dallas Palms is absolutely beautiful and I am certain our wedding will be just as beautiful. Thanks so much Dallas Palms!! -

Being recently engaged, I've been overwhelmed searching for venues and visiting various locations. Since Dallas Palms is a newer venue, I hadn't heard much about it. I just happened to drive by and was instantly drawn in with the layout of the grounds and the palm trees lining the drive in. I researched it more online and requested an appointment. My fiancee and I took a tour of the grounds and were stunned with how beautiful the ballroom is. I could imagine myself getting married in this location. Tariq, Bibi, and the other staff members really take the time to answer questions, make you think, and work with your needs. They are all so welcoming and responsive to the vision for our wedding. We are booked for October 2015 and are so excited to continue this process. They are helping us with other vendors and to fulfill all of the little details we imagine for both the wedding ceremony and reception! We cannot wait for the big day and will be sure to post another review! -

Its was a great experience for Texas Muslim Women's Foundation to have our Mother's Day Luncheon at The Dallas Palms, its a classy venue, good food, with excellent parking but most of all the staff is very easy to work with!

My daughter was married 7/6 at Dallas Palms in Carrollton and I can highly recommend Dallas Palms. We were very satisfied overall with the venue and the staff there. My wife and I have heard many times since the wedding it was one of the prettiest weddings they have ever seen. The walk down the aisle at this venue begins at the top of a staircase, so it’s very dramatic. The front of the room is windows overlooking very nice landscaping outside. The lighting, sound, curtains and backdrop were all just right. We couldn’t have been happier with the venue overall. The reception was in a separate building and was just beautiful. The lighting and atmosphere were great and the tables and layout were perfect. The day of the wedding we went and checked out the reception room and they had set it up different than we had requested the week before. They were very cooperative and rearranged the tables just as we had requested. We had a buffet with fajitas with all the sides. Food was excellent and we had many positive comments on how good it was. The wait staff couldn’t have been more attentive. It was a great party and everyone had a great time. We had brought small Blue Bell cups that we asked them to be sure to replenish. Turns out they didn’t do that, which was disappointing and led to a lot of melted ice cream. We originally expected 200 for the wedding, so the price we paid was based on that number. Turned out the groom, who was from California, didn’t have nearly as many attending as expected, so we only had about 150. They wouldn’t refund any of the money, but they did give us many additional things to compensate. I felt like they treated us fair concerning the amount we paid. So overall, I would definitely recommend Dallas Palms. I have 2 other daughters who will want their own venue, and it’s going to be very difficult topping this one for the price we paid.Dallas Palms's reply:

This wedding venue is AWESOME! I seriously had the best experience! They are very responsive, and genuinely care about making sure you have an awesome wedding. The wedding planning was pretty easy (as easy as it can be) thanks to Nicole- she shows great expertise, very professional and friendly. All of the coordinators are great/attentive. After looking for a venue for several weeks we stumbled upon the Dallas Palms during a daily outing. We already had a spot in mind but decided to see what they had to offer since the lighting and drive up was so inviting. We were greeted by the most helpful and accommodating staff who made our experience seamless although we didn't have an appointment and they were preparing for a large Saturday night wedding. As our wedding day isn't scheduled for another 6 months, I will follow up to give additional insight on our experience. We are so very pleased at this time. Stay tuned! #theausbornes -

My fiancée and I have had the best experience with the professionals at Dallas Palms. Whenever we had questions they were quick to get back to us with an answer and as we continue to move forward with our wedding plans it has only gotten better. We were sold on this venue the moment we set foot into the ballroom upon our first visit. Absolutely beautiful decor left little need to decorate. All we did was decorate the tables. That's it! The staff was extremely accommodating in every way. Our coordinator, Bebe, was a God sent angel whom helped make our dream a reality. Very pleasant and extremely professional on all fronts. There was never a request to big for her, and she was very driven to make sure our day/event turned out the way we envisioned it. -

Had a nice wedding
The vision I had for my wedding turned out surprisingly beautiful. I was a bit nervous planning because I put a lot of trust and vision with the coordinator who kept giving me the assurance I needed. I made sure to point out what was important to me and Cathy followed through. Everything I requested they honored and accommodated to their best. Overall I was happy and grateful everything turned out beautiful. My guests were happy and everyone enjoyed themselves. My only concern is the Fila mignon we had several tastings but the meat turned out really tough and some felt the fish was a bit dry. It seemed to be a hit and miss for certain tables. Overall Dallas Palms did not disappoint. The staff was gracious and always pleasant. My experience was wonderful. I definitely recommend those who are seeking quality experience but on a budget. -

I worked directly with Tariq and Nadia for all my wedding planning at the venue and my experience was great! Dallas Palms is a wonderful venue for all your needs since they do everything in house. I was very happy and pleased with how beautiful the decorations looked. Nadia did an amazing job! Tariq is very helpful with all the planning and food selections. I was looking for a venue that included massive chandeliers and beautiful floors (preferably wood) when I stumbled across this place at a bridal show!
The Palms was going through a renovation at the time we saw it, but my heart was dead set on having my reception in their large ballroom. They went above and beyond to accommodate my fiance and I, as well as my family. When we booked with them last year, they shared their project improvement plans with us, and have followed through on every word shared.
Nadia has been an amazing help to calm my nerves as I go through planning my wedding and the details of it, Tariq has guided us in making tough decisions around the flow of our wedding, and Cathy has been an overall help with getting us to see what our wedding will look like.
I cannot wait until our wedding day and I would highly recommend this venue to anyone!!

Overall, everything was great at the venue. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. They were able to coordinate with the florist and caterers for us, which was extremely helpful. On the day of the wedding, we had their decorator and day of the event coordinator present. The only thing that was an issue was the table numbering. It was all over the place and the sides were switched. -

The planning stage was great, however the event day the facility booked a brunch during the time they had allowed up to arrive, which was very unprofessional we had booked our wedding 8 months in advance the brunch was booked a few days prior. Our decorator was standing around waiting which caused her to miss the wedding. -

The place is very beautiful...but I expected much more from them ...there alcohol policy is not good and even though I bought mine from them my guests complained that they were being sold and the cocktail hour I paid for wasn't utilised too....they are also not that flexible my reheasal dinner was rushed. -

Making an edit to my previous review. Some of this may be due to the fact that one of the main coordinators at the venue left the business, but despite the many many emails and documentation I had sent over in the past (to everyone there), the transition of knowledge was very poor and almost non-existent.
The reception venue decor was about 90% what we agreed upon (some lounge furniture had been switched out for some really ugly sofas that didnt match the other and were not what we ordered) but the biggest problems (and the biggest expenses) were:
1) the service (relatively very little was cleaned up from table during the course of the night - i greeted guests at their tables that were mostly littered with empty bottles and glasses)
2) not all of the food was served at the agreed upon time. My guests waited for 2 additional hours to be served any of the main food. it was 10:30pm before anyone had anything. My timeline and discussions and documentation submitted to the venue was to have the food STOP being served by this time. This is the majority of the expense and many guests left without ever being served what we paid almost 8k to serve them. some of the food wasnt even what we ordered. when my mother asked if they could serve the food (some of which was sitting out ready), they were very rude in their refusal to her.
3) they did not provide enough bar tenders for the final headcount I had given them, did not pre-make one of our signature drinks that they agreed upon, and did not "pass" drinks as had been agreed upon multiple times. As a result there was a mile long line for the open bar that was so expensive to pay for.
Sometime after 10pm the very sweet food coordinator arrived and tried to make amends by somewhat correcting the bar situation (by then many guests had left) and my outside coordinator insisted they serve the food ASAP. These things were a little too late to correct that part of the evening. -

Brides beware!
If there is one thing that I could go back and change about my wedding it would be using this venue. They suck you in by making you think you are getting such an incredible deal for under $10k and then you soon realize that if you want anything other than basic everything, its gonna cost about $10-15k more. If you go to the view this venue, MAKE SURE you take a professional with you who knows all of the questions to ask and be sure EVERYTHING is in writing. I paid about $1300 for flowers to be placed on the staircases during the ceremony. As I am walking down the aisle to my now husband, that was the first thing that caught my attention. NO FLOWERS! I could've burst into tears right then. They tell you one thing one day but later remembers no part of that conversation. My coordinator even stated how difficult this venue was to work with. They make it sound good saying that everything is included but that is so not the case. Beware!!!

Bad experience
The place is dirty unkempt dingy and mirror in the bridal dressing room broken with torn carpet but what I regret the most is the attitude of Nadia . She gave an appointment for the decor and behaved as if she was not interested in our business as she gave almost the same time to another party.Holding my son’s valima reception there has left a bad taste in my mouth and I regret the day I chose this place. A great gap between promises and delivery.

Dir Sir,
After reviewing the photos of the beautiful event for your children, it is indeed unfortunate that these are your thoughts. When you booked your event, you were more that aware of the construction in progress on our garden. The contract you signed also informed you of this. In February, the entire state of Texas experienced severe winter weather that left all of us in a state of disrepair and multiple set-backs. Our re-structuring of our garden commenced as soon as it was possible. In March, you were offered several options, one being to completely change your venue. The other option was to include a second venue, rather than using the garden area. You refused both, taking your chances. As the date approached, severe weather in the form of rainstorms were predicted. Again, we suggested keeping the event inside and combining a second venue in order to avoid any disappointments. A tent was also suggested and a quote was given. You chose to bring in your own tent company, totally supervising the installation and placement of the tent. All of this time, you constantly came to the venue at odd hours, after hours, before hours, etc., scrutinizing and quizzing the construction workers, foremen, etc. We were very patient and sympathetic toward your event and bent over backwards to assist you in every way. It was due to our experience and advice that you finally added side-walls to your tent for added protection.
Staff worked overtime to plan, strategize, prepare and organize your event. A special structure was built, just for your son and daughter-in-law to create the the absolute perfect ambiance that they requested. We worked with all of you almost on a daily basis to make sure you were constantly re-assured that you were receiving all that you possibly could in the way of service and personal care. You will never know all that was done for you in order to carry out all of your wishes and desires.
Unfortunately, the inevitable happened. Even at the 11th hour you insisted that the event would be outside. Unfortunately, we cannot control the weather, but we did jump through hoops to make everything as comfortable and calm as possible. It was a gorgeous event, to the exact specifications of the Bride and Groom, as well as yourself.
During the event, the Bride was not only gorgeous, but extremely happy. The Groom was as well, complimenting the event. Not only did we add additional food items and appetizers for your guests, we allowed the Bride and Groom and a select group of friends to host their "after-party" in the garden until 2:30am, at no extra charge.
We have received so many compliments on your event, as well as several new clients. And, as previously stated, the photos are stunning.
On such a special day with your children, hopefully your focus will turn to all of the positives of the day, and their cherished memories will not be tarnished by your personal, unwarranted thoughts. This management and staff were, and still are happy to have created an amazing event for your family, in spite of the rain, mud, wind, lack of umbrellas, etc. We wish you and your family the best as you move forward and reflect on the beautiful and important aspects of that day. -

This venue is absolutely beautiful and that is what will attract you. However, beware of CATHY! While the venue is great, Cathy not so much. Cathy should be fired as I feel she destroys there brand!
1. Her energy is totally phony. She pretends to be really helpful and caring to your face but I found out through some of my vendors and my personal coordinators that she was bad mouthing me to them! They didn't like her either and got the same vibes I did.
2. She blamed me (the bride) for damage to the photo booth. Yes, I requested the photo booth to be placed outside. Myself and the vendor asked if there was voltage to support and NEVER did anyone say to me or the vendor that this may not work. We were both under the impression that obviously if I requested for it to be outside and no one contested it that it must not be an issue. Well, the photo booth completely fried and Cathy told the vendor I wouldn't let her put the photo booth inside like she request!
3. I paid good money for the buffet and they barely gave time for my guest to eat. The moment the last person went through the line they started packing everything away! There was a lot left and I felt my guest should have been able to get 2nd's or 3rd's until all my money was ate up. Guest where really disappointed about that.
4. Last but definitely not least, she tried to rip me off $500 and then LIE about it! I paid for guest to have open bar ($500 worth). Well come to find out, my guest had been paying for drinks all night. When I confronted the bartender he said he was under no instruction to give any free drinks by Cathy. When I confronted Cathy she lied and said she had been back there and gave away a few. (bartender had already told me this was not so) She could tell I wasn't going to let up so she finally agreed to give me my $500 back and did so in cash that night! But had my mom and aunt who knew drinks were supposed to be free not told me, Cathy would have gotten away with stealing my money!

Overall, my wedding planning process with Dallas Palms can be best described as stressful and saddening. There was a time that I was about to pay the cancellation fee and find another venue. If you want to be led astray, be fed a sales pitch all the time, hate your wedding & be told to settle for mediocrity, then book them. Otherwise, be happy with your choice and go somewhere else!
Pros:
1. Nadia did an excellent job with my Pithi stage. Grateful!
2. Food
Cons:
1. Constantly being exposed to the organization's internal turmoil- they kept switching wedding coordinators on me b/c they kept getting fired. Finally got one 2 months before the wedding. She slaved away for both my events (thank you Kristy!) to make up for the horrible experience with coordination, only to be told by a member of the dallas palms team that she didn't need to do anything for my pre-wedding event, as I was not paying coordination fees for that. Well i was paying for a constant wedding coordinator, and I didn't get that at all so Kristy was just trying to make for that.
2. I've edited this item. Before I thought the cake had been thrown away. I just spoke to my guests about it, seems like they saw the cake (and food) being boxed up into single meals, then given to staff members. They took my cake home. Forget the food, but I paid someone else for cake, NOT them. When some guests asked for cake during dancing, they were told it was gone. Kristy herself saw cake being boxed up. so there WAS some cake left. When we came to get it, she didn't know where it went (thanks for trying Kristy). So sad, as they never served husband and I cake at our own wedding, and they took it home for themselves.
3. My bridal party was constantly disrespected. MOH was talked down to and they turned the AC off on them. Groomsmen were setting up the seating chart and were constantly disrespected all day.
4. Always being told no b/c it was inconvenient... even when I was promised the same thing before. -

Booked Dallas Palms for 2 wedding events. Initially they both were nice and seemed to cater all our needs. Our first event (pre wedding celebration): food was good, the décor was almost close as discussed. The afternoon of the event the decorator sent me the pic of stage and I requested to make few changes because it was little different but she refused to do that. Well that was kind of the beginning of upcoming disaster. Upon arrival; I found out that stairwell was never draped the way we discussed and the decorator was no where to be found. Finally the server started to wrap it and it was finished while the guest were pouring in. Not acceptable if they are charging you so much and taking entire payment in advance.
Next day was horrible and that was my wedding day. The décor was completely different. Not even close to what we were told. The seating was less and they had to put another table in front of everyone to accommodate my standing guests (so embarrassing). They changed the menu!!!! without letting us know. Even though the food tags said the one that we were suppose to have but the items were wrong. The event manager messed up with the timing of food. I mean how dumb one has to be in order to mess up the timing of food serving if you have only 2 events to manage. They even messed up the cake we picked. It was a different cake. Finally the main coordinator came and apologized. Well my wedding was ruined and an apology couldn't fix that. I called coordinator/decorator the same night but they never picked my phone. Eventually he called and we met after 2 days. Regarding the décor part he completely refused to take any responsibility as it was done by his partner even though she was part of dallas palms team. Later he gave us refund of $ 600 as compensation. But guess what; after 2 days he called my husband asking for credit card so that he can charge for those $600. He said he did the refund only to calm me down. How unprofessional. DO NOT BOOK THEMDallas Palms's reply:

A Nightmare instead of the Day I Dream Of
I truly hoped to never write a review like this. After our wedding on March 29, 2025, and a follow-up email to Dallas Palms on April 10 (to which we’ve still received no response as of April 22), I feel it’s necessary to share our experience to help future couples make an informed decision.
While our wedding appeared beautiful, it was largely thanks to our family’s effort and the flexibility of our 500+ guests—many of whom traveled internationally. Sadly, behind the scenes, our experience with Dallas Palms was disorganized, unprofessional, and deeply disappointing.
• We were promised the full Bellaire room but were only given half due to construction we weren’t properly warned about—causing layout issues and added vendor costs.
• Several power outlets didn’t work, impacting our DJ and other vendors.
• The restrooms were never cleaned during the event and lacked hot water—guests described them as filthy.
• A tent was discussed as a weather backup, but the day before the event we were told it would cost $10,000 and required a week’s notice. Guests were caught in rain with no coverage, and staff offered no meaningful support.
• Mopping during a storm created slip hazards with no wet floor signs.
• Our detailed seating chart was ignored, despite being confirmed via email and in a walkthrough. The coordinator falsely denied receiving it to family members that inquired. We were utterly confused.
• We paid $811 for six TVs to show our wedding film and seating chart—none of which worked. There was no A/V technician present, and we were told during the event that our DJ was supposed to manage their equipment. Needless to state, our short film was never filmed and TVs were never used.
• Only one of the two promised security officers showed up.
• The day-of coordinator, Cathy, was mostly unavailable, leaving our guests and family to manage logistics during inclement weather.
After paying over $35,000+ for solely the venue, we expected a level of professionalism and accountability that was simply not delivered. I spent parts of my wedding day overwhelmed and in tears. The lack of communication before, during, and after the event left us with stress and regret during what should have been one of the happiest days of our lives.
If you’re considering this venue, I urge you to ask very specific questions, get everything in writing, and have backup plans despite what is agreed upon to ensure your wedding is executed properly - Dallas Palms simply just did not execute. I wouldn’t wish this experience on another couple.

Worst experience ever
We had the WORST experience with Dallas Palms.
When we first signed our contract with Dallas Palms they asked for a deposit and as per the contract we were suppose to give our final payment 2 weeks before the event. But right after giving our deposit, Dallas Palms started contacting us every month to make payments. They said its their policy we have to make payments each month (which was not part of the contract). We gave them all the payments as per their request and kept our end of the bargain.
Our event was scheduled for April 4th, 2020. Dallas county imposed a lockdown on March 15th and wedding ceremonies were not allowed. Our event was a mehndi event and it was time sensitive as the bride and groom were moving to California. Dallas Palms kept on insisting that we reschedule to a later date knowing full well that it will not be possible for us. We asked them for a refund as their was no event on the scheduled date but they were extremely rude. They kept insisting that we either reschedule or forget our money as they will not refund. They threatened that if we insist more, they will have to file bankruptcy and then no one will get anything. Their CEO Nadia was very disrespectful. They left us with no choice but to seek legal help. Our lawyers sent them a Demand Letter asking them for our payment, but their lawyers got back to us that they will give us back $1000 as “charity”. Dallas Palms should be ashamed of themselves. We are now going to take this to litigation. Please save yourself from this awful place. -

There were major problems; see Yelp single star (*) reviews - enough red flags to keep shopping. BOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! The owner Nadia is supportive and accommodating, but her operations manager Cathy is in the wrong position. She brags about being in the business for 30 years yet tries to downsize contracted services. Prior to the day of the event, there were a few hiccups that got handled, but the day of the event was a horrible experience that we tried our best to keep the behind the scenes problems from the bridal party. -

Had more money i would book my daughters december wedding somewhere else .they want give a refund but everything we were told when booking is now different the girl we first had was fired, we were told we could have any color chairs we wanted so we choose to have clear at no extra charge now the lady we have say this is the gold room and to change will be 4.50 per chair. The first food tasting was cancelled, now my daughter chose to have mexican food so the tasting was tonight why wasnt any at the tasting. They told us we could have the reception room set up the way we want it but when we went a few weeks ago she basically told us how it was gonna be the way the buffet tables was set up when we was there she told us we couldnt have ours set like that it was for a smaller party, iam not happy this suppose to be a happy occasion, and i can see that my daughter wished she hadnt paid, they even tried to say she missed payments until she brought all her bank statement s becareful with this venue it is pretty but customer satisfaction very low -

I attended a wedding here and the staff made it pretty clear they were focused on trying to clear us out instead of helping the couple have a successful wedding. The venue was theirs until 12:00am but they were throwing away the food by ten. We went to get cake and watched them just throw untouched plates into a pile and take them to the back. We asked where the cake was - after watching this - and they said "there's no more cake" in a very rude tone. It was supposed to be open bar - prepaid per person - but they kept running out of bottles and saying there was not anymore. There was an older bartender that was very nice but wanted to be by the book and management wouldn't let him serve - still helpful and nice but suggested to me it was more of a management issue. The groom actually had to come out of reception and tell them to start serving. Groom's father discussed the issues with management but it didn't seem to make much of a difference. When they were putting the food on the tables I noticed some of the servers would wear gloves, others didn't - and one of the ones who didn't had her thumb pretty far into the plate. The way they serve was pretty sloppy and done without care - people put a lot of work into planning their weddings and this really isn't what they should deal with. This is a company that specializes in being a wedding venue and it's difficult for me to understand why they would conduct business in this way.Dallas Palms's reply:

Thank you for sharing your insight and experience. We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the service at the wedding you attended. We did our best to follow the bride’s instructions. The food was served for an hour and a half, conforming to the food industry standards; after that food is unedible and dessert was being asked to be served. Dallas Palms’ staff always saves the cake from the party for the bride and groom, it is never thrown away. In addition, drink tickets are distributed on a first come first serve basis, and the bride and groom bought tickets for the 200 guests only. At Dallas Palms, we take pride in all the weddings we host, and make sure everything is taken care of. Unfortunately, some of the issues you mentioned were a little out of our hands as we were trying to create a smooth night for the bride and groom. I had my wedding here and was very disappointed with my service. Everything started out great in the beginning but as the months went on I would get phone calls saying that I was missing payments when in reality I had paid before my actual payment was due and they dropped the ball and did not mark it down in their records. I booked my wedding with them a year in advance and was never invited to a food tasting until a couple of weeks before my wedding and when I arrived the food that was supposed to be served at my wedding wasn’t even on the menu for the evening and this is after discussing with Cathy about what kind of food I wanted. The owner Nadia is very disrespectful and unprofessional. I went in one day to discuss the issues I’ve been having and in the process she ended up snatching papers out of my hand! I was promised a beautiful set up for my alter at the ceremony and the day of my wedding there was no setup at all!

ONCE YOU GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY YOU CANNOT GET IT BACK PLEASE BOOK YOUR WEDDING AT ANOTHER VENUE!!!!!
this was suppose to be a great experience for me and it ended up being horrible the venue is not but it’s not worth the stress they cause you -
