Great team!

Lauren and Sarah were great! I had booked them right away given that our wedding was on NYE and their response time was better than many other places I reached out to. At first I was a bit worried because we had 9 people for makeup, 5 for hair, and only one stylist on each task - but they both powered through and everyone looked gorgeous! I recommend doing the trial of course so you can learn how your stylists will work with you. I'm not big on makeup but loved my look. The airbrush looked amazing too and lasted all day. Even through midnight our hair all held up very well!

These ladies are amazing!!

My friend recently had her wedding in Wilmington, and Dalisay did our hair and makeup. Laura did our makeup, and she was amazing. All of our makeup looked flawless. She was extremely nice and personable. Arika did our hair. She was super sweet. I had such a nice time talking to her. I showed her exactly what I was looking for, and she did such a great job. All of our hair looked amazing. I would highly recommend these ladies for any events.

Beautiful Work

I hired Laura and her team to do my bridal hair and makeup for my wedding along with my three bridesmaids, and they did amazing work! I planned my wedding from a few states away, but Laura and I communicated often to ensure that I had everything I wanted. Even when I had a bridesmaid drop out last minute Laura worked with me to modify my original invoice to have a hair and makeup trial instead, which worked out great!

On the day of, Laura and Carly arrived on time and made quick work of me and my bridesmaids, and by the end our hair and makeup all looked amazing. I struggle with makeup because I have hooded eyes and don’t know what looks good or bad until I see it (and can also be kind of picky), but Carly did an amazing job of taking my concerns into account and I ended up looking amazing.

Laura and her team also don’t price gouge for weddings like a lot of other stylists would and you pay a fair price for the services you get. Would definitely recommend for your hair and makeup needs for your wedding!

So personable and professional

Laura and her team were AMAZING they made me and my bridesmaids feel so comfortable and they were so easy to talk to. They finished everyone’s hair and makeup early and had no problem helping with touch ups. Not to mention how incredibly talented they all were. I would 10/10 recommend!!!

Perfection!

Laura and Alex were amazing! They did exactly as I requested and made sure to make the proper adjustments for myself as well as my bridal party to make us look our very best. Our makeup and hair received so many compliments. They did phenomenal! I feel the price point was spot on (when pricing, Dalisay was in the mid price range so I was able to stick to my budget)! Although they were mid tier with pricing they did NOT lack on quality, it was top notch! Thank you lady’s so much for being a part of our day! 💕

Super Fun Experience!

I would highly recommend! I got married in Wilmington but live out of town, so Laura came in on a Sunday to do my trial hair and makeup. She worked with me on a couple of different hair styles and had amazing ideas! My bridesmaids and I were SOOO pleased with our hair and makeup the day of, as well as my future mother in law. They were super easy and fun to work with!

Amazing and Professional!

I found Laura on Weddingwire while planning my destination wedding. I was planning my wedding in NC from NJ. She was quick to get back to me when I messaged her and made time to talk to me on the phone and answer some of the questions I had. I had a trip booked to NC a few weeks later and she was available to meet me for my hair/makeup trial on short notice. Laura is so professional and was happy to do my hair an makeup exactly as I wanted it while giving her profession opinion. I hired her right away. The day of my wedding I was even more amazed with her. Her and her assistant are so incredibly talented. All of my girls were so happy with their hair and makeup, and I couldn't get over how fast and efficient they were with their time. I was a little worried with the timing of us being ready and on time for my first look and we were done in exactly the amount of time Laura planned out for us (if not even a little earlier). Everyone's hair and makeup held up the entire day and night in the August NC heat. My makeup even lasted some cake being smooshed in my face by my husband. Thank you Laura you made my big day so amazing and I had so many compliments on my hair!

Timely, flawless & fun

My experience with Dalisay was timely, flawless and fun. I couldn’t have asked for a better group to preform beauty services for my bridesmaids and I. Tyler did a perfect job with each of our hairstyles + her wonderful personality made for a stress free morning. My beautiful wedding day was made as soon as all of my loved ones were glowing with beautiful hairstyles and airbrushed makeup. Thank you immensely!

They were so flexible when I changed locations and oh my GOSH we’re they friendly and prompt. My new husband works in doing wedding videos and told me the makeup people always run long and we were stressing about our day-of schedule with that in mind. Dalisay got to my Airbnb on time for hair and makeup, did all my girls hair and makeup, did my own hair and makeup and they were still done ahead of schedule! Great experience with them! Laura helped me with booking and payment and Bee was my hairstylist the day of. She was friendly, accommodating and did a wonderful job on my wedding hairstyle. I recommend their services!

Laura and her team were absolutely amazing the morning of my wedding! They weren't scared of my large group (11 bridesmaids, 2 mamas, 2 kids and a bride!) and from the beginning made sure they were being efficient by always having a girl in the chair. They knocked it out of the park- everyone was absolutely gorgeous and they finished 30 minutes before we had to be done! The whole process was so low stress and easy-going, it really helped me be calm and confident for the rest of the wedding!! I felt flawless and beautiful, and the entire look lasted from 11 am through midnight! Cannot say enough positive things about Laura- she's a beautiful person, inside and out!

The girls were punctual, got everyone’s hair and makeup don’t and we’re flexible with everyone’s last minute needs. I got so many compliments on how natural my makeup looked. Everyone’s hair was gorgeous! I definitely recommend them!

I was recommended Dalisay Salon for my wedding day, after my original hair stylist backed out. Laura was absolutely wonderful to work with. Her salon is beautiful, in a great location, and was very relaxing and clean. We used her bridal suite to get ready and let me tell you, the photo opportunities that her salon has are absolutely gorgeous. She provides drinks if you use the bridal suite, recommends amazing places for breakfast or lunch, and goes above and beyond to make sure that you are enjoying your experience.

Laura is extremely talented and patient, she listened to my wants and made me look and feel beautiful. She had me, two bridesmaid and my mother completed in time and we all looked great.

Laura did a wonderful job on my hair & makeup. She was more than willing to work with the pictures I brought her and was open to what I liked & wanted change after my run through. The airbrush makeup she used continued to look fabulous until I took it off at the end of the night, which is no easy feat, as I have very oily skin and it was a relatively humid day. Overall, I would highly recommend Laura.

Dalisay salon is great! They did hair and makeup for my best friend's wedding, and did a great job on the bride, all the bridesmaids, and the bride's mother and grandmother! They were really great at getting us all looking great on time!

I came in with my best friend who was the bride and their place is so adorable. Pricing was reasonable and highly recommend to go there for your big day with your girls!

Laura was so sweet and did an amazing job on hair and makeup for my 3 bridesmaids, my mom and I. She came to my hotel room and had everything she needed set up early on the morning of the wedding. We chose airbrush makeup to withstand the hot and humid August weather and it worked like a dream. It really lasted all day and it looks amazing in a couple of the sneak peek photos the photographer shared with us. I had done a trial with Laura about 6 months before the wedding so she had the exact shades and colors for my skin and I knew exactly how my hair would look. I would highly recommend her to anyone getting married in the area. Thanks a million Laura!

Laura did hair and make-up for my daughter's wedding day on August 5th 2017. Everyone has commented on how beautiful both hair and make-up were. I am so glad I had Laura and Brooke do the makeup and hair for my wedding! My hair turned out exactly the way I wanted it to and my bridal party was very with theirs as well! Communication was always very fast and the price was perfect! I definitely recommend!

My experience at Dalisay Hair Salon and Bridal Suite was beyond what I could have ever imagined. I went there for hair and makeup for my engagement pictures, bridal portraits, and for two other occasions. Laura will be doing my wedding day hair and makeup along with my bridesmaids hair. I cannot say enough good things about Dalisay Salon! Laura and Brooke were phenomenal! They did my wedding hair and makeup, along with my bridesmaids’, mother’s, mother-in-law’s, and grandmother’s hair and makeup. They were a joy to be around and they made sure everyone was ready on time. I am very particular about hair and makeup and they made sure I was happy with everything. Honestly, they blew me away. I felt absolutely beautiful and so did everyone else in my bridal party. Also, the week of the wedding, Laura cut and dyed my hair and Brooke gave me lash extensions. They had me looking and feeling my best on my wedding day. I definitely recommend using them for your wedding. You won’t be disappointed!

Laura and Brooke were amazing. Brooke did my bridesmaid's make-up and Laura did my make-up (bride). They were punctual and professional! Everyone's make-up was amazing. Couldn't have picked a better team to work with!! I have and will continue to reference them for all my friend's needs!

Laura was so easy to work with! For someone who doesn't wear makeup, I was super nervous about the whole process - trying to find someone to do makeup for the big day, trying to decide how to look, knowing who was good or not, and even having makeup on in the first place! Laura was very flexible and worked to make sure everything was perfect...even when I wasn't the easiest to put makeup on. She's an awesome person and I'd highly recommend her to anyone who needs someone to do their makeup for a wedding or any event!

I cannot say enough positive things about Laura. She is SO GIFTED at what she does. She provided the hair and makeup for my bridal party as well as highlights for me (done a few days before our wedding). Laura's #1 priority is the quality of her work. My hair and makeup remained flawless for over 10 hours, and I received so many compliments on them! During the planning process Laura was quick to respond, flexible, and answered all questions I had. I was a little stressed about getting all of our hair and makeup done in time (I had 8 bridesmaids), but Laura worked hard to ensure that we were done--we finished ahead of schedule! Laura made my wedding morning so relaxed and fun-I'll never forget that time spent in the bridal suite with my girls!

I love Laura! She gives good, honest feedback and does such a great job. She was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating through the whole process. Both her and Tyler Kent did updos/makeup for my bridal party and I, and we were all in love with our hair and makeup! Better yet, these girls were such a good time! Definitely recommend.

My wedding planner and photographer spoke so highly of Laura, I knew she would be a great choice. This was a destination wedding for us and we didn't have time to travel for a hair trial. Laura created beautiful styles for myself, my bridemaids, and my mother. I had asked if she could stay after the ceremony to assist with removing my veil and helping fix my updo as needed and she kindly stayed for a very reasonable fee. It was so convenient that she was able to travel to our venue. This was a huge plus! Thank you Laura!

Laura was amazing!!! She did my hair/makeup for my bridal pictures and for the big day! She was so easy and so much fun to work with! Her work was beautiful, even when I added things in at the last minute she knew exactly what I wanted! Laura did such a wonderful job at our hair and makeup the day of the wedding. She is patient, personable, and listens to all or any needs you may have. We also did spray tanning with her a few days before, which was wonderful and is an awesome tan for the next week. My bridesmaids and I had our make-up and hair done by Laura and it looked amazing! She is really talented, and was so easy to work with and accommodating from the first phone call. During my trial, she allowed as much time as needed and did not hesitate to try so many different hair styles and make-up colors. And on the day of, a lot of the girls weren't sure what they wanted, and Laura looked at all the pictures and took the time to try different things, until all the girls loved their hair style! I would definitely recommend Laura!!

Laura did hair and (airbrush!) makeup for my sister-in-law's wedding in Southport, NC this summer. She was able to create hairstyles that we had in mind/help perfect our visions. In addition, Laura is extraordinarily talented as a make-up artist, and uses airbrush makeup for her bridal events. Our hair and makeup stayed put all day, despite the humidity, and we received many compliments. Beautiful work, and a fun morning spent with Laura in the bridal suite at our venue. Would absolutely recommend!

We enjoyed working with Laura, who we learned about on Wedding Wire. She was receptive of pictures the bridesmaids brought in for their hairstyles. I have thick hair and am always worried the style won't hold due to the weight of my hair. Laura did a great job securing my hair in place and instead of using hairspray that makes my hair crunchy and hard, she used a wax spray instead. My hair looks natural and not plastered to my head! She was also able to have my hair finished in under an hour. In the past it could take hours to do my hair! I would definitely recommend Laura for her services!

Laura did a wonderful job on hair and makeup for myself and my girls for my husband and I's recent wedding! She was so accommodating, quick to respond, and worked very hard to make sure we were all happy! Her work is beautiful, creative, and very high quality! Her prices are very competitive and I feel she was well worth her reasonable rate! Definitely have her come to your house/hotel if you are local because it was so relaxing to get ready all together in one place, have everything we need, and not have to run around in the July southern heat! She was a joy to work with and I definitely recommend her for your big day!

Laura was perfect for me and my wedding party. I had to find help for hair and makeup unexpectedly and very close to my wedding day. I needed help for minimum half my wedding party. Laura, even though she was extremely busy, was available for my Friday wedding.
The day of the wedding, Laura did hair and makeup for myself, my two teenage daughters, and my mother in law. Two of my bridesmaids decided that day to have their hair done as well. Laura was able to work them in. Laura was super personable, and made everyone feel comfortable and relaxed. Everyone was happy with her work, even the two bridesmaids who had had bad previous experiences and were nervous. Laura completely changed their thoughts on having their hair done, and they are very critical when it comes to things like that (we all know those girls, and they were thrilled!!!!)
My daughters looked absolutely gorgeous, too gorgeous maybe. I felt good about myself all night and I didn't want to take my hair down!!!! I can't wait to send in some photos.

I went to Laura for hair and makeup for a vintage/high fashion photo shoot that I was a model for. She did an amazing job with my hair and makeup and took the time to be sure she was capturing the look that I desired for the shoot. Laura was very professional and knowledgeable about products and techniques. She was very personable and I really enjoyed my time with her at her salon. The salon was clean and organized and inviting as well. My makeup and hair looked amazing and the images the photographer captured are proof.

Laura has done many things for me, but my wedding day was extra special. She did a trial run for my make-up when I had my bridal shots taken and I loved it! It was a little more makeup and bronzer than I normally wear so when we got to the big day, I mentioned that to her and she tweaked it into something even better. Simple, natural, yet beautiful and the look rose to the occasion. She worked out of her home at the time and used natural light from her windows and let me take a look with every major piece she added. Laura made me feel pretty and comfortable and the makeup stayed all day and night. (She's also done my hair a few times for events and regular cuts, loved those too).

Laura is a wonderful hairstylist! I used her for my wedding day, reversal and engagement pictures . She did a the hair and make-up trial with me which went well and made me feel completely confident in my decision to use her. I had my wedding in Wilmington, NC back in 2013. I contacted Laura through email months before my wedding date, finally my wedding day came. I had my makeup and hair done by Laura. She also did my mother's hair and makeup. I am truly BEYOND happy with the way my makeup and hair was done I have NEVER had my makeup and hair look as beautiful as Laura made mine look that day. What amazing talent! Laura is truly an artist at what she does! Coming from a Beauty Pageant background, I was very particular about my hair and makeup and wanted to make sure I hired someone I could completely trust.

From the moment I met Laura at our trial, I immediately felt at ease. She was very down to earth, and was open minded to what I wanted. She listened to everything I had to say, and boy, did she deliver! She uses quality products, and is great at working with exactly what you want (I'm a huge fan of contouring). I swear I didn't want to take off my makeup/hair after the trial!

On the wedding day, Laura was on time, and were friendly and professional to all my bridesmaids. She got me ready with plenty of time to spare, and I have to mention my hair and makeup stayed perfect all night and even until the next morning! I couldn't have been happier!

I highly recommend Laura to any bride who wants to look like perfection on her wedding day!

This is the best company ever! Out of all my vendors, I can honestly say that Laura was the best! Laura made me feel right at ease with the first phone conversation. After my first trial, I had to book her! She is absolutely the sweetest! Laura was early to arrive. I told her to come by 8 the morning of my wedding and she was there at 730!! I had been in weddings before where hair and makeup artists were late so I was a little worried about that. But from the first meeting, to the big day and everything in between, she always EARLY! Laura didn't do my hair for my wedding. But she did my hair for my sister's wedding. Man-- I wish I knew Laura when I got married. She is incredible. I wanted an intricate bread that would make my hair thick and beautiful. She did just that. Her updo abilities gave me so much confidence! Plus my sister looked breath taking. I am so happy her wedding day was so very special.

If you need a jack of all trades in your little black book, then you need to meet Laura. I have been a client of Laura's for almost six years. In that time she has done at least 10 up-do's (including my wedding day), countless waxes, numerous hair cuts, colors, styles, several manicures and pedicures, and she even has given me the best spray tan of my life. For all things beautiful Laura is your girl! There was no question that Laura would do my hair for my wedding. She did my hair and the hair of my entire party. She also did the hair of the my mother and mother-in-law. Everyone looked beautiful. Laura even did our makeup. Did I mention the women also does makeup? Like I said, she is my go to beauty girl. Laura is the BEST in town. If you hire anyone else you are just asking for second best. Laura is a true creative who loves to make people feel and look beautiful. She did the hair of my entire wedding party. We had a variety of lengths, colors, and personalities. Everyone looked amazing and their matched who they are! I could not be happier. Laura arrived early and stayed late. She never took even took a break! She went straight through doing one person after the next. My hair as the bride was unbelievably unique. She matched my hair with my vintage style dress, personality and love for all things "blingy". Seriously! Book Laura, do it now!

Laura was so wonderful!! She ended up doing my hair as well as my wedding party, mother and aunt. She did such an amazing job on everyone. She is so intricate but efficient with getting everyone done and making sure everyone has the type of style they are in love with. Everyone looked so beautiful and we were done right on time for photos.

She goes out of her way to make you feel special. After every visit, I leave Laura's feeling beautiful! I will never forget my first call to her...it was a "hair emergency." If your looking for talent, for a perfectionist, for experience she is perfect. She did my extensions and they were amazing! So comfortable and super well blended. No one knew I had extensions all I got were compliments! She's super sweet and makes you feel comfortable in her chair, you will probably become best friends with her she's so kind. Laura did the hair for my best friends wedding (mine included) and it was stunning! We all received so many compliments throughout the night. She is incredibly talented and knows her craft. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she went right to work. My hair stayed out all night!

Laura did headshots for my company website. There were 3 of us, all with completely different kinds of hair. Laura multi-tasked, making the process efficient for us. Laura did hair and make-up for my friends at a party that I hosted recently. Everyone was thrilled with the experience, and with her styling! I was amazed with how quickly she created so many different looks. There was a ton of variety - from straightening and curling, to unique fishtail braids designs, and fun up-dos! My girlfriends looked fabulous! And, most importantly, Laura was flexible, easy to work with, and fun to be around! I am a wedding photographer and hope I get to work with her sometime soon!

You cannot go wrong by hiring Laura! She is a superb hair stylist! She was the only choice for my wedding. I had eight women get their hair done in updos by Laura for my wedding. She styled everyone's hair to match each individual whether young, elderly, or somewhere in between. She arrived early, did trial runs, was efficient, and got us all ready on time. But above all Laura captured the feel of my wedding by providing beiaotufo hair!

Laura is amazing. She has a great eye for what works best within the ideas given to her. She is energetic, loves what she does and it obvious when you spend time with her. Laura did my hair, my bridesmaids' hair, and my mother and mother-in-law's hair. Our hair types ranged from short to very long, very fine to very thick, and included one African/Filipino bridesmaid and one Irish/African American bridesmaid. Laura did not shy away from the challenge. She is so versatile that she styled all of these various styles, lengths, volumes, and textures in a variety of styles--up, down, and half up--just beautifully. She was the consummate professional. I highly recommend her.

Laura and her team did a superb job styling hair for my bridesmaids. She takes her time to listen and make sure you are happy with your final result. All of my girls were very happy and my flower girl's hair looked beautiful. She is good with both up dos and curls. I definitely recommend her!

Laura is amazing! She did mine and my bridesmaids hair, makeup, and tans for my wedding and her work was absolutely stunning! If you are getting married you NEED to hire Laura to do your hair and your makeup. Laura did the hair and makeup for my entire wedding party. We had a great time. She was thoughtful, prompt and very accommodating. She even travelled 2 hours to get to my small wedding. Laura made my fairy princess day one I will never forget. I knew I wanted my daughter’s hair and makeup professionally done for her wedding; however, I was reluctant to include her bridal party of 6 plus a flower girl. I thought it would be nice, but not necessary. My daughter really wanted to offer this to her bridesmaids who had done so much for her during her engagement. I have to say I was wrong, and this start to our day was beyond perfect! With a long day ahead of her, my daughter decided no photography or video intrusion, just us ladies enjoying a low-key start to a big day. The salon and bridal suite are chic and comfortable and in a convenient location in the hip Brooklyn Arts district. Laura and Heather were talented hair and makeup artists and their work lasted throughout the long day and evening. At the last minute I even decided to have my hair and makeup done - the airbrushed foundation took years off my face and the products used on my hair kept my usual frizz away!
