Absolutely Incredible DJ Experience with DanC Entertainment!
We could not have asked for a better DJ than DanC Entertainment for our wedding! From start to finish, Dan was incredibly detail-oriented and truly invested in making our day perfect. Before the event, he took the time to get to know us as a couple, learning about our personalities, music preferences, and the overall vibe we wanted for our celebration. It was so clear that he genuinely cared about creating a personalized experience that reflected us.
Dan even met with us in person right before we walked in to check in and make sure everything was in order — something we really appreciated! His setup was top-notch and very modern, with multiple screens to display photos of us throughout the night, adding such a special touch.
We also used his Photo Booth services, which were an absolute hit with our guests! Everyone loved it, and we have so many fun memories from those photos.
Dan went above and beyond with the technical side too — providing high-quality microphones for the maid of honor, father of the bride, and best man, and even recording all of the speeches for us (without us even asking!). That thoughtful gesture meant the world to us.
When it came to the music, Dan nailed it. He seamlessly incorporated all of the songs from our Spotify playlist while reading the crowd perfectly to keep the dance floor full all night long. His energy, professionalism, and attention to detail made the entire evening flow effortlessly.

Best Wedding DJ, hands down.
I've worked in the wedding industry with Dan for a few years now, and I knew after just a few weddings together, we had to book him for ours. He is always thoughtful and thorough from start to finish. He kept the entire day running smoothly. He had everyone where they needed to be for speeches/dances & all of the events - no small task with the group that we had! He helped us get our food/drinks, communicated with all of our vendors anywhere that he could, and was so sweet to our friends & family! He kept everyone engaged and dancing all night, and handled the requests from all of our flower girls like a champ. We heard so many times how awesome he was. I recommend him to every single couple, every time as a fellow vendor. Being on the bride side of things I will continue to do so again & again! He was, by far, one of the best choices we made in planning.

Highly recommend!
Dan was amazing! From the monthly emails leading up to the wedding to keeping our dance floor packed all night Dan helped make our wedding perfect! He provided us with a lot of guidance leading up to the wedding and helping us plan a perfect timeline. He had so much energy and made everything run smoothly. We also got the photo booth package which was so much fun! He hand delivered a photo book with all of the pictures right before we left for the night. I cannot recommend him enough!

The best DJ!!
My husband and I were married on May 17 of this year. When looking for a DJ, we really didn’t know which way to turn. We came across Dan, and we’re so thankful we did! From the very first call, Dan made us feel confident and helped guide us when we needed it! He went out of his way to ensure our day went perfectly. He was there for us in ways we didn’t even know we would need! He kept our wedding flowing smoothly, and his personality was just great. We gave him a lot of freedom with song choice at our reception - he knocked it out of the park! We loved every song he played. We would absolutely recommend Dan time and time again!! Best decision we made having Dan DJ our wedding on 9/21/24. Not only is he a super nice person but he is an awesome DJ. Our guests enjoyed him, he kept the dancefloor going all night long. I have to say I will never forget him helping me carry my plate of food back to my table so that I didn't drop it all over myself, definitely never seen a DJ do this and its so appreciated. Through the planning process, he gave great pointers and advice as far as sound system, timeline for the day, design aspects, etc. Our photobooth was a hit as well as the monogram he created for us. He did not disappoint when we asked him to play a different song for each of our bridal party entrances. Everything flowed smoothly and cohesively throughout the entire day and evening. Definitely telling our friends and family about using him in the future!

A top tier DJ for this DJ
As a wedding DJ out of Erie PA, everyone wanted to know who would be MY DJ, for my wedding which happened about a month ago. From being in the industry, I obviously know most of the local DJs and many of the not-so-local ones. We had lots of great choices.
We went into this understanding how much value a killer DJ brings to the event and knew we had to have the best. We met Dan in Atlantic City at the DJ Expo many years ago and immediately became friends with him. I've watched Dan be a DJ for the DJs at the Expo, a presenter on the DJ News TV show, an entertainer for countless events and fundraisers, and knew he was the man for the job.
Fortunately for us, he was willing to drive almost 4 hours to our venue in Western New York.
Through the 6 months of planning, the multiple conversations, meetings, and set up, Dan was an absolute professional. His online portals made planning super easy and he was willing to help steer us when we had questions.
His MC'ing at the event blew even a seasoned DJ away, his music choice top notch, his equipment stylish, modern, and high end, sound quality was perfect, mics did not cut out. This dude knows his stuff and absolutely rocked our event.
We were so lucky to have him as the entertainer at our event and even luckier to call him a friend.
5/5 only because I can't give 10/5 stars.

Dan was absolutely wonderful to work with! He was always available to answer any questions and help us along the way, and very quick to respond! Our zoom meeting with him helped us make a lot of decisions and put us at ease leading up to our wedding day. He kept everything running smoothly and flawlessly so we had time for all of the important moments we wanted included in our day. The Photo Booth was also a huge hit with our friends & family! DJ Saved Our Son's Rainy Wedding Day
I cannot say enough good things about the wedding DJ, Dan. Despite the rainy weather, he provided an amazing soundtrack that kept the guests dancing all night long.
My son’s outdoor wedding was planned for a beautiful sunny day in September. But the morning of the big event, we woke up to an unfavorable forecast and had to move the ceremony indoors at the last minute.
But Dan took it all in stride. He worked with us to set up inside quickly and made sure the new layout would still work well for mingling and dancing. He remained so friendly and flexible throughout the changes. During the reception, Dan did a fantastic job reading the crowd and playing music that appealed to all our guests.
Despite the weather and venue change throwing us for a loop, He kept the party going with nonstop music. I highly recommend DJ/MC if you want a DJ who can adapt to challenging situations and keep your guests engaged all night long. We couldn't have pulled off the wedding without him! He turned a stressful rainy day into a night we'll never forget.

Dan @ DC Entertainment was everything we could have asked for and more. He was super professional from start to finish and he answered all my emails and questions instantly! He knew exactly how to get the party started and keep it going all night long! He acted as not only our DJ / MC but helped so much with coordination! We did not give him any set playlists, and just by talking to us and knowing the select few songs we did chose for entrances, he completely nailed it with the rest for the entire day/night, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception pleasing the crowd of all ages! The beautifully clear displayed monogram, fun photo booth with a nice album for all of the photos taken, and audio guestbook were amazing and fun touches as well. I would recommend Dan to anyone over and over again for not only their wedding, but any other event in need.

Working with Dan was super easy and everything worked out so smoothly. He made sure to explain all the details upfront and tailored his work to match our vision of our wedding while keeping the integrity of his style and way of running things. He is very responsive and flexible via email. We absolutely loved the energy he brought (literally had everyone dancing all night long and nobody wanted the party to end), and his professionalism is 10/10. My wife and I also appreciated him coming in formal attire and blended in with everyone perfectly. We also had a photobooth provided by Dan and his team... unreal turnout. The photo booth was also one of the biggest hits of the wedding and had constant traffic between songs and everything else going on. They make you a personalized book with all the photos signed by everything. Attention to detail and performance also 10/10. Could not be happier with Dan and his team. Thank you DC Entertainment!

Dan is the absolute best! He was the first and only DJ we met with, and we knew instantly that we wanted him as our DJ. We appreciated that he got to know us as a couple and truly cared about us. We wanted a fun party for our wedding, and he helped make that happen! We had a few specific requests and short playlists/mixes that he honored, and we had a blast. He even went out of his way to find a very old song we wanted to use for part of our anniversary dance to honor the couple that had been married the longest. Dan was more than just a cookie cutter DJ who plays the same playlist at every wedding. He was very personable and easy to talk to, and he played a major role in fulfilling the vision that we had for our wedding reception. He also kept us on track with our timeline, which we really appreciated because we wanted to start our dance party at a certain time, which he accomplished. This is no easy task because at our wedding reception, we discovered just how easy it is to lose track of time while talking to guests. We booked Dan from the preferred vendors list provided by our venue and it was absolutely the best decision! I told him my vision for the dance floor and energy for the night and he blew us away! The dance floor was on fire the whole night and we did not slow down (as per my request)! He was a great MC as well. He kept the event moving and kept everyone organized. Dan was organized from booking to event, personable, and very easy to work with. He will make your event whatever YOU want it to be. The venue workers commented multiple times that they never saw the dance floor THAT full! We would book Dan over and over, he feels like a friend now! I cried when I hugged him goodbye at the end of the night. 10 STARS!
We also rented the audio guest book which was a refreshing change of pace from a traditional written guest book! Our guests loved it!

Wonderful Experience!!
My husband and I used Dan for our wedding this past December. We really enjoyed working with him! He was able to capture our vision for the day with the uplighting, customized photo booth strips, and the songs he played throughout the night! He gave really helpful tips and advice throughout the process. He was very flexible with last minute changes. It was also so nice to have a copy of all the photos that guests took at the photo booth in both digital format and an album! We are so thankful to have had him as a part of our special day!!

Amazing Experience
Dan was phenomenal to work with. From the first meeting, we knew he was the right fit for us. Dan was extremely accommodating when we had to reschedule due to COVID shutdowns. He was communicative throughout the entire process...well organized and helped ensure our day was amazing. The DJ sets the tone and pace for the reception and Dan did not disappoint at all. Every special touch that Dan added was perfect from song selection to the Love Story to the Last Kiss. Several guests commented afterward how pleasant he was, how accommodating to their requests he was and how much fun they had. We couldn't have done it with out him. Thank you!!

Life of the party!
Dan was hands down the life of our wedding! He was super attentive and responsive with emails, in-person planning meetings and the day of craziness. He kept things flowing smoothly and perfect. Great wedding DJ
I am a little late on writing this review but Dan was our DJ for our wedding back in October. He was absolutely wonderful! We wanted out wedding to be a party with lots of dancing and that is exactly what we got! Our guest danced the whole night. We received so many complements on him and his ability to keep people on the dance floor. He was also super helpful leading up to the wedding. He knows what he is doing and is a great wedding DJ. Also his DJ booth is SO cool!! We would highly highly recommend him to anyone looking for an outstanding DJ!

Having the right DJ at your wedding is vital! The DJ is the heart beat of the day. I highly recommend DJ Entertainment! I did not have to worry about a thing. You will be provided simple questionnaires to complete that will assist you in having things you would have forgotten. You will receive extremely helpful reminder emails of what you should have ready before the wedding. DJ Entertainment took care of every detail during my special day allowing me to enjoy the day and not have to worry about what was supposed to happen next.

Dan was exceptional to work with. He was extremely organized, timely, and his planning ahead made our wedding a breeze. Not to mention his awesome personality showed in all his work keeping the dance floor packed all night long. Everyone keeps telling us how much fun they had at our wedding and how great our DJ was. He was very flexible, and his quick thinking allowed us adjust to our schedule mid reception seamlessly as dinner wasn't quite ready. His custom setup includes a large screen that he displays a picture of the couple on which was so cool! He also provided 2 flat screens that were used for one of the speeches. Dan was an amazing DJ from start to finish! He worked hard to make our wedding personalized to us (voice overs during our special dances, monogram, DJ stand picture, allowing our guests to ask the questions for our shoe game, working with my MOH to coordinate a rap for her speech), guided us through choosing everything we needed for the ceremony and reception and played the perfect songs to keep the party up beat and fun until the end! Dan was FANTASTIC. He was thorough, detail oriented, and very professional. I cannot express how many people at our wedding told us what an awesome DJ we had. He made our reception so much fun. The music was on point and exactly what we wanted. Guests of all ages danced. During the ceremony he made sure the guests could hear us and our officiant. The music during the ceremony was timely and exactly as we requested. It is clear Dan loves what he does and he takes it seriously. He really wants to be sure your day is perfect. Also, my husband and I HIGHLY recommend doing the love story!! It was a huge hit. What a great way to make your day unique!

Great Experience!
Dan made things easy from the beginning. After our initial meeting, it was clear that he was well-organized and had plenty of experience that we could trust him to be the DJ at our wedding. Then COVID hit but Dan was flexible and allowed us to schedule a different date. Leading up to the wedding, Dan was extremely helpful when we struggled with selecting specific songs. On the day of the event, Dan went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. We would highly recommend him to anyone!

Amazing dj- you need to have him!
Finding a DJ is one of the most important things in a wedding- I found Dan on wedding wire & received a recommendation for him by Tasha Puckey Photography. Dan is not your average DJ, he is so much more. Dan helps take the stress of wedding day and wedding planning by asking how he can help the bride and groom in any way. While we were eating dinner and he came over to talk to us he always asked if we needed anything he could grab for us. His services are more than your average DJ- One of my favorite things (and guests LOVED) was that Dan interviewed my groom and I to get all the juicy details of our love story and played it before our very special first dance. He did the same thing for our parent dances. Dan played amazing music all night long & really kept the party going! The photo booth service is a must have- the booth is high quality and prints many pictures, you even get a book to keep them all in... how cool?! Overall, Dan is more than your average DJ. He is a great guy who wants your special event to be perfect & have great music of course! He was a huge help for us and an awesome DJ.

Dan was our DJ for our wedding on October 24. He was the best DJ anyone could ever ask for. My husband is extremely close to his grandmother and she could not attend our wedding due to COVID. Dan went out of his way to contact the nursing home she is in and surprise him with an audio recorded message from her that he played during a special dance. My husband was so happy. I still receive messages about how great and professional Dan was and we will definitely hire him in the future if we need a DJ for events. The party was non-stop and he even let me help DJ at one point! It was amazing. His photo booth was also a hit and SO fun for all of our guests! I can not recommend Dan more!!!

Dan was instrumental in the organization and flow of my wedding. He came to our rehearsal dinner to make sure he knew the plan, came early and got all of his equipment set up and was ready to go in plenty of time. Everything was perfect. He kept things on time, kept the party going and truly helped to make my day amazing. I purchased the package with a photo booth and everyone was so excited to go use it! Dan was easy to work with and a great host on the best day of my life! Dan was absolutely amazing to work with! We first met at the Bloomsburg Bridal Expo and my fiancé knew immediately that he liked his style. From the very beginning, Dan was so attentive and responsive to whatever we needed/wanted to make our day perfect. He helped us plan a total of 3 weddings (thanks COVID) and was so patient with every change. Dan went above and beyond to make everything as perfect as possible. His response time on emails was better than any other vendor I was in contact with. There is not enough space for me to describe how much he means to us. Dan made us feel like we were more than just customers. He routinely checked in with me to see what he could do to help us during the confusing COVID process. We have had so many people tell us that was the most fun they have had at a wedding! The music selection was perfect and kept the dance floor busy the entire night! Professional and Friendly from Beginning to End
Dan was a highlight to our reception & ceremony!
We planned our PA wedding remotely, so Dan worked with us via emails, video chats, and in person when we were available. He was thorough, organized, and flexible throughout the planning process. As we got into the final weeks, I felt like I was playing "Telephone" between vendors to share information. Dan's organization and prompt responses made our planning and coordinating much easier. Big relief!
On our big day, Dan provided the music for our ceremony and reception, as well as uplighting and a photobooth. We appreciated that he had proactively asked enough questions to understand our needs and was responsive to our requests, but also charismatic and experienced enough to make adjustments throughout the day.
Overall, our big day ran smoothly and hassle-free. We very much appreciated all of Dan's efforts, and are so happy we trusted Dan to MC. Multiple guests even commented weeks later about how fantastic our DJ was! No need to look into other entertainment, just call Dan! :D

Best DJ in Williamsport
Dan was fantastic and helped keep the party alive. We completely lost power at the start of our reception and Dan went home to get another generator to help get some power back. I’m glad that I chose Dan and wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to dj our big day. He is very organized and knows what he is doing. Amazing Wedding DJ!
Dan was a pleasure to work with and coordinated our wedding music and timeline so well! Even the day before the wedding I made a song switch and he nailed it! Our ceremony was a distance from the venue, and he came prepared with a generator and a battery powered speaker for the App area. Once inside, our guests were dancing all night and the songs he selected were perfect! Even our guests were coming up to us saying how great the DJ was! We booked Dan as our ceremony and reception DJ after getting recommendations for him from every other vendor we met with. He was very responsive and helpful right from the beginning. He came to our rehearsal to help us get organized and made suggestions to help things run smoothly. He also helped us come up with a schedule for our reception and kept us on track throughout the night. He kept our guests entertained and dancing until the end of the reception!! Dan was way more than just a DJ. We also chose to do uplighting and a monogram through him, which really added an amazing touch to our reception space! Aside from keeping our guests entertained all night, he coordinated our whole ceremony and reception, and kept everything running smoothly all day!! Dan was everything that we could've asked for in a DJ and more! We had a tall order, in that we wanted to perform a surprise first dance with lots of songs mashed up together. Dan was so unbelievably accommodating with this request, meeting with us multiple times in order to get the flow of the songs just right. He put so much attention and detail into how the songs flowed together that all of the transitions were absolutely seamless! We got so many compliments on our first dance, and it couldn't have been nearly as good without Dan's expertise!
He also offered us the magnificent idea of us providing voice over commentary during our mother/son and father/daughter dances. This was a surprise for our parents, and brought them to tears. Again, Dan seamlessly intertwined the voice overs with our music selections.
We also took Dan's advice and had our last dance of the night just my husband and I, by ourselves, on the dance floor. It is one of the most special and memorable parts of our day that I will never forget!
Dan kept the dance floor full the entire night, and the music never stopped! One song just flowed into the next. I knew that I didn't have to worry about anything the entire night, as Dan had everything taken care of.
Dan was also very responsive to us throughout the whole process, and I would highly recommend him to anyone else in the area!

Dan was very well-organized and accommodating throughout the planning process, he was also thoughtful and considered our tastes and personalities. He made great suggestions that made our day special for not just the two of us, but also our families. He has a wide variety of music and it was all great, but his personality and thoughtfulness put him above everyone else. He had a wonderful set up (both outside for the ceremony/cocktail hour and inside for the reception) and the music was flawless throughout the day. “Your DJ is killin’ it!” – shouted by one of our wedding guests (who doesn't typically dance) as she made her way to the dance floor. She wasn’t the only guest to comment on how awesome Dan was - everyone raved about him! We left our initial meeting with Dan very impressed and excited – Dan is very professional, well organized, and incredibly patient. Dan was very personable and accommodating since the first time we spoke on the phone. We were not able to meet in person so we skyped and we could see his personality through the skye call. We appreciated his flexibility to work with our schedules and with the distance. He was extremely professional in all aspects of the job. Dan from DC Entertainment was always easy to get ahold of! He was great to work with and he played awesome music at our wedding. He also put a lot of effort in creating the best uplighting for my vision. Highly recommend!!

Dan was great to work with. He goes above and beyond his duties as a DJ. Dan helped us plan out the entire schedule of our special day, including being extremely flexible when I wanted to change things, and reassuring me when I started questioning things. When the day came, Dan had the guys set up and ready with microphones for the ceremony and helped coordinate and keeping the day moving along. He asked several times if there was anything we needed and kept everything on our time schedule. Several guests commented how great not only his music was, but how helpful he was throughout the day. They couldn't believe how much he was doing outside of being the DJ. We would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone!

Dan was an awesome DJ! He was very organized and professional at the pre-wedding meetings. He made sure everything moved along smoothly during the wedding so we didn't have to worry about it. He played the right kind of music to make everyone want to get up and dance on the dance floor. We are so glad that we chose him to DJ our wedding and would highly recommend him to any other couples looking for a DJ.

Dan went above and beyond to help us make our day perfect!! My husband has a very complicated work schedule and Dan worked with us to meet to discuss the wedding timeline. We met at Starbucks and he even bought us coffee. Our last meeting with us my husband and I instantly knew that we picked the perfect DJ. He made us feel like he had everything under control and helped us come up with the he perfect wedding day schedule. During a time of craziness he was the only thing we felt sure of. He was responsive with our last minute thoughts and even reached out to my videographer so I didn't have to be the middle man. The wedding day went perfect! The shoe game was a hit and everyone commented on how unique it was. He played new and old music that everyone loved. Words can't describe how amazing Dan was. He went above and beyond my expectations and I would recommend him to anyone! Our guests were even commenting on how great he did days after the wedding! He was absoutly fantastic!

Dan was the DJ for my daughters Sept 4th wedding. We knew we wanted to hire him from the beginning but he was booked Saturdays many, many months in advance. With his help we planned on a Sunday wedding (Labor Day weekend) and it could not have worked out more perfect! Dan was highly professional and really kept the party flowing. Every little detail was well thought out and planned to flow perfectly. Guests were entertained over cocktail hour, while they ate their meals (the shoe game was pretty awesome!) and all evening long. We had so many guests say how awesome the reception was and how much fun they had. We enjoyed ourselves so much we went over our contract time! The sparkler send off was a great idea and the monogram is pretty cool too! Thank you Dan, you really made Alicia and Jeff's special day all the more special! I would (and have!) highly recommend DC Entertainment to anyone!

Our July 30th Wedding was a day to remember forever and we are so thankful that DC Entertainment was part of it. We were a couple that debated going with a DJ or Band and we are glad we went the DJ route. From our first meeting of sharing thoughts and details to adding an extra hour to our reception, Dan kept the dance floor packed. His music selection was tasteful and he did a great job at reading our crowd (all while keeping us happy and staying within the song parameters we set for him at an earlier meeting). We paired his DJ services with the Photobooth package and together they were worth every penny, which was affordable and fit in our budget. We are so glad we added the guest book option to the Photobooth and our family and friends had a blast using it. Without a doubt our guests were happy & entertained and we were thrilled. My husband and I chose DC Entertainment for our wedding and could not have been any happier with our decision. He was always easy to get in contact with and was interested in all of our ideas. We knew exactly what was going to happen next with his printed line up at our head table. Very organized. Your DJ can either make or break you event and I must say he nailed it 100%. Everyone had a great time and complimented on his services. We also used his Photo Booth was a HUGE hit. They were absolutely amazing!! We would recommend DC Entertainment for any events!! We couldn’t have been happier with our choice to use DC Entertainment as the DJ for our wedding. Dan made the process easy from the first time we spoke through our wedding day. Dan provided the music at both our ceremony and reception. He helped us customize the music to our taste, theme and venue and provided suggestions as well. He was a true professional and did a fantastic job! As the MC for the reception, he moved everything along smoothly and was truly entertaining. Everyone had a great time, and several people at the wedding complimented him too! My husband and I would highly recommend him for any wedding or event.

We recently had our wedding at the Cellars at Brookpark Farms in Lewisburg, PA and we couldn't have had such an awesome day without Dan. He was very easy to work with, met with us several times throughout the planning process, and overall made the planning easier! He even came to our rehearsal to make sure everything moved smoothly. We have been to many weddings in the past and noticed some of them didn't have many people up involved in the dance floor. When meeting with Dan, we made sure to tell him it was important to us to have people up dancing and having a good time. Dan did just that, making sure the music was accommodating to every age group there, and making sure that everyone was having a good time. We can not thank him enough for the great job that he did!

It is my opinion that in a lot of cases, the DJ can either make or break a reception. That being said, we could not have picked a better DJ for our wedding. Dan definitely knows what he is doing. My husband and I expected a lot out of the DJ at our wedding and Dan exceeded our expectations. He took charge of the whole reception and made sure everything was organized and he made everything flow perfectly. He was very personable and definitely
knows how to throw a party. I had multiple people (including my husband) say they had never saw so many people out on the dance floor at a wedding before. He took our requests and knew what songs to play to get people out on the dance floor.
We met with Dan twice before the wedding and it was great to get to know him. He was so helpful and made us feel like we had nothing to worry about. He even helped our family set up at the reception hall before the reception!
Dan goes above and beyond to make his clients have an amazing and stress free wedding day. I would recommend him to anyone.

I truly have a hard time explaining just how much we appreciated Dan Carpenter of D.C. Entertainment! From our very first meeting Dan was professional, accommodating, personable, and friendly. I continually told him I wish I had him to play the soundtrack to my life as I was walking down the street because it was like he was reading my mind. I received compliment after compliment at my reception about what a terrific DJ I had chosen. One friend of mine walked up to me and said, "Is he playing your iPod?" Every song he chose was as if he pulled off my own personal playlist. To me, choosing a DJ was one of the biggest decisions. I can firmly say Dan exceeded all expectations and went above and beyond what I could have ever hoped for. Book him NOW! You will not be disappointed. We were planning within a six month window and DJ's were booked solid. A highly rated DJ in the area that we had contacted recommended Dan and gave him a very high recommendation. Fortunately for us Dan was available and it was an absolute pleasure working with him. He was on top of things and very easy to work with. We were both from out of state and when we came to town he drove out to us to meet face to face to plan (he even bought us coffee). He covered everything from start to finish and knew from experience what worked and what didn't work. He really wanted to make sure that we were happy with everything. WE most certainly were and the guests even agreed and commented afterwards of what a wonderful job he had done.

Dan was a great DJ! He kept the mood of the reception flowing, providing the right tempo songs at the right time. He suggested the "shoe game" which I'm so glad we decided to do! It was a lot of fun and the audience enjoyed it. Dan created an attractive monogram for our wedding, adjusting it when asked. His flexibility is superb! Dan also took the time to meet with my husband and I a couple of months before the wedding to make sure all the details were sorted out.
Highly recommended! He knows how to get the crowd engaged and keep them that way!

Dan was absolutely amazing to work with from start to finish. He easily made time to meet with us more than once before the wedding, got to us know, and made sure that our night turned out even better than we had expected. We have never planned a wedding before, so we had no idea how to structure the reception or what the order of events needed to be. Dan went through a list with us, wrote down what we did and did not want to include and planned everything for us. We had absolutely nothing to worry about during the reception, he took care of everything. When we got to our seats for dinner, we each had a printed listed of the order of dances, speeches, etc. so we knew what to expect and when. I can't imagine how different, and stressful, it would have been without his help. Beyond that, he created the best dance floor atmosphere I have ever experienced at a wedding. Our best wedding pictures are from the reception, everyone is smiling and having a blast. There were people on the dance floor who notoriously do not dance at weddings. Without a doubt, choosing Dan as our DJ was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

Dan was absolutely awesome. We are from out of town and he was easy to work with and contact via phone or email, also he made sure to set time aside and meet us in a convienent location when we were in town. He compiled a first dance mixdown at no extra cost with several revisions and it turned out great! During the reception he played the music we requested and liked, as well as improvisations to keep the party going. A few things changed during the reception and he had no problem adapting. Overall we had a totally amazing night and Dan played a major roll in that! We would defintely reccomend him to anyone in the area!

My husband and I chose DC Entertainment for our wedding reception. Dan met us at a time and location that was convenient for us. He drove 100 miles (round-trip) to meet with us on two separate occasions, just to make sure our reception plans would be realized. Not only did Dan provide excellent music that reflected our taste, he helped us transform our reception space with up-lighting and a custom monogram that my husband designed! Our guests were on the dance floor all night long. We could not have been happier with the service Dan delivered.

Dan was not just our DJ, he was our perfect fit: he provided beautiful up-lighting in colors that matched our color scheme, a personalized & custom monogram (matched our wedding invitation), helped plan our party with fun new ideas, and was our music guru who not only helped with our reception but our ceremony too! He is exceptional to work with and because he knows how important your big day is he makes sure that everything is on schedule and flows from one thing to the next. My husband and I were sitting together and eating our dinner and taking it all into perspective when I had realized that Dan had given us our agenda so that we knew what was coming next. After all the planning of everything else, it was so nice that he was just as organized as this OCD bride lol
There were moments in planning that I was stuck deciding on songs or dances and no sooner would I set them into place, I would then make changes again; Dan kept up with my craziness and his flexibility to do so amazed us both. All of our guest said that our event was the smoothest wedding they had been too, from start to finish; and I believe that Dan was a huge part of making our day not only special, but effortless and enjoyable! I could honestly write a book however, you should get back to planning and set a time to check him out yourself!

Dan was great. He knew how to keep the wedding moving while making sure everyone was involved. The songs were played that were selected by bride and groom. He was cheerful and very upbeat. Highly recommend for any event.
