Cynthia is the best!

Not only did Cynthia make my bridal party and I look amazing, she is also the ultimate "hype queen" and makes you FEEL amazing before you walk down the aisle. She is so friendly and kind, that every person in my party was comfortable with her. She does beautiful work and made me feel my absolute best on my wedding day.
I also did a wedding trial in her home and the whole process was easy as can be! I'd recommend her to any New England bride

Superbly Talent!

If you have a chance, hire Cynthia for your wedding! I did a bridal trial run with her in June and when I showed my family and then-fiancé, they all really liked how she did my make-up, including the style and colors that reflected my personality!
She knew how to tailor the make to each member of my bridal party - from the moms to the teens, to those who wear make-up daily and those who do not. Everyone was really happy with how their make-up turned out! Plus, she is on time, and knows how long it will take to do the make-up of each person in your bridal party. She helped me figure out the hair and make-up schedule that day which is a huge help!

Cynthia's such a pleasure. She loves working with people and is so sociable and fun that she made everyone feel so relaxed and have a great time, which really helps calm your nerves on your wedding day. She's so good at what she does that guests are interested in hiring her to do their make-up for other social events (proms, bridal showers) and for general make-up lessons. She is fantastic!

Would highly recommend!! Talented, Fun and Professional

Cynthia is fantastic! I hired her for my small wedding in Manchester-by-the-Sea this past September. She was incredibly professional, personable and talented. She did the make-up for myself, two mothers and 4 sisters and made everyone look amazing! She used high quality makeup and was incredibly knowledgeable - I actually went out and bought the lipstick she used after my wedding because I loved it so much.

She also was very considerate and prepared when it came to COVID concerns. She was very responsive before the event, answering all my concerns with COVID and arrived with her own mask, face guard and clean/disposable tools; she was also very respectful of everyone in the room.

Cynthia brought a happy and enthusiastic energy to my wedding day and was so easy to talk to! I absolutely loved working with her and have already recommended her to all my friends getting married next year. I hope I have the opportunity of working with her again! Thank you Cynthia!

Beautiful work and person!

I cannot say enough good things about Cynthia, her work, and her personality. When brides are looking for a makeup artist that will "work with all of my bridesmaids who have different makeup styles" Cynthia is it!! She worked so well with our entire bridal party, including: bridesmaids, mothers and my grandmother (who never wears makeup). She is incredibly personable and so fun to be around the morning of your wedding. A number of my bridesmaids have been in other weddings (including their own) and all of them said Cynthia has been the best makeup artist to work with. Additionally, for brides coming in from out of town - Cynthia is incredibly responsive and flexible when it comes to coordinating a trial and discussing details leading up to your wedding. I was an out of town bride and really appreciated her responsiveness and flexibility.

Cynthia is amazing!

Fantastic experience - would definitely recommend!

Cynthia was absolutely fabulous to work with! She's not only an incredibly skilled makeup artist, but a wonderfully warm and kind person as well. She helped to make my wedding day so much fun as she was so easy to talk with and made everyone feel so comfortable while they were getting their makeup done. Cynthia is great!!

I got married this past summer and didn’t know of any makeup artists. I was a little worried about just finding someone on google but Cynthia was way better than I ever expected! My knowledge about makeup is very minimal but Cynthia walked me through everything during my trial. She asked me some questions and ended up getting the natural-y look that I wanted just right! Plus, she’s super nice and pleasant to talk to! She did such a great job that one of my bridesmaids is using her for her wedding next summer! Anyone that doesn’t use Cynthia for their wedding or event is missing out!

Incredible!!

Cynthia was absolutely wonderful to work with for my wedding. Her calm, sweet personality helped to keep everyone at ease while we were getting ready! Cynthia has an eye for knowing what colors will work on different people, all while enhancing everyone’s natural beauty. Cynthia also truly listened to each of us so that we felt like ourselves. We did a trial run a few months before which was great so that we could talk about how I wanted to look. She took pictures at the end and wrote herself notes so that she knew exactly what to do on the wedding day. That was awesome!

The bottom line is Cynthia was absolutely incredible. All of the girls and I felt and looked beautiful! I got married on a 95 degree day and all of our makeup stayed on all night! I don’t know what magic she used but it worked. I would recommend her over and over again. She is simply the BEST!

Cynthia is the best bridal make up artist in Boston!

Cynthia was exactly who every bride needs for their make up artist on their wedding day. She is calm, supportive, sweet, caring and so incredibly talented. From my 8 bridesmaids, to my mom/MIL to my make up she was able to tailor everyone's look to their skin tone and style. I was planning my Boston wedding from LA and she was so flexible for my trial and any other details I needed before the big day. Cynthia is a bride's dream come true :)

Wonderful Makeup Artist!

Cynthia was the makeup artist for my wedding and from the trial to the actual day everything was amazing! She was very friendly and did an a great job with everyone’s makeup, and was on time and within the schedule set! I was so happy with how my makeup came out and would 100% recommend her to anyone else looking for a makeup artist.

Talented, fun, and amazing make up artist

I looooved Cynthia. Not only is she so talented and listens to what you want/don't want, she's SO fun. She added so much positive energy and laughter as my bridesmaids and I got ready. She's so easy going but takes her work very seriously, which is perfect for this stressful wedding process.
I did a trial with Cynthia and loved her work. She made my skin flawless, my eyes pop, etc. I wanted a certain eye look that she went and bought new shades specifically for my wedding day, which was SO SWEET and so nice.
She arrived promptly at start time, got all set up and then did her thing. My bridesmaids loved her and her work, and I did too. My make up stayed on all night, but I still felt myself! Just a little glammed up!

Cynthia is amazing

Cynthia was absolutely amazing!!! As a recently divorced Mother of the Groom I wanted everything for my Son's wedding to be perfect, myself included. I loved the reviews I read about Cynthia online as I live in NJ. Not only did everyone look beautiful, she was so much fun to have around the morning of the wedding. I felt as if she were a close friend and knew her forever. She was very attentive to the ladies goals for their makeup. We all had different personal styles, lashes, air brushing etc. Not only would I highly recommend Cynthia, I would love to hang out with her!!! She was very professional and an expert in her field. Cynthia is Amazing!!

Cynthia is amazing! She did my wedding make-up trial back in February and did my makeup for my wedding this past Saturday. She did makeup for my 6 bridesmaids, my mom, and our flower girl and they all looked amazing. I love Cynthia's personality, she is so easy to talk to and great with recommendations for beauty products - she is so knowledgeable! She took the time to create a timeline for the day so my bridesmaids and I knew exactly when we needed to be ready for her. She never made us feel rushed and really took her time with everyone. I felt so beautiful for my wedding and owe that all to Cynthia.

I really loved my experience with Cynthia! She is one of the funniest people I have even met. She kept us laughing and smiling thoughout the morning when we were getting our hair and makeup done. She knows how to lighten the mood and you really instantly feel relaxed around her. I was able to have a trial done, and she was sure to ask me the day of, how the makeup felt on my skin and if we wanted to change anything. I really appreciate the time she took with me to discuss. She kept us on schedule (a very tight schedule!) and I really appreciate that too. Thank you for everything, Cynthia! I can't recommend you enough. I got so many compliments on my makeup and my favorite one was that I looked like a better version of my self.

I met Cynthia 8 years ago when she did my friends wedding party's make-up and all I remember is everyone waking up the next day and everyone's make-up still in tack as if they just had it done! As soon as I started planning my wedding I knew I had to have Cynthia! And when I found out she wasn't booked I couldn't have been any happier. My sister had her make-up done by Cynthia and when she found out Cynthia was doing our make-up I think she may have been just as excited if not more!! Cynthia has a way about her to just make you laugh, have fun not one moment did I feel stressed about my make-up. On the day of my wedding I have never felt more beautiful than I did that day. I can't say enough or recommend her any more Cynthia is absolutely amazing!!

I first met Cynthia when I was a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding and she did makeup for the entire bridal party. Having been in a handful of weddings, I had my makeup done many times, but nothing compared to Cynthia's work. Fast forward five years later to when I was getting married and I knew I had to have her do my makeup for my wedding day! From our early conversations when I reached out to her, to the makeup trial, to having her do everyone's makeup on the actual day, Cynthia was a genuinely nice person, fun to be around, and a true professional. I can't recommend Cynthia enough! My wedding was on a very wet, yet unseasonably warm day in January. But you would never know it from my makeup. I loved the way it looked. I loved the way it felt. I loved the way it lasted all day/night without touch ups. I love the way it looks in pictures. Cynthia is a very talented artist. A master of her craft. Hire her, you will be so glad you did.

Cynthia was one of my favorite people that I worked with during my wedding. She just has one of those personalities that can get along with everyone; I could probably hang out with her all day. She doesn’t let the chit-chat distract from her work though, and she did everyone’s makeup perfectly. Cynthia accommodated the requests of all of my bridesmaids on how they wanted their makeup done while maintaining the “classic/romantic” theme of the wedding overall. She just gets it—gets the vision, gets the vibe. Cynthia did my makeup (aka the bride) exactly how I had wanted: not too much, but not too little either. That’s a hard balance to maintain, but Cynthia nailed it and I was so happy. It’s just like what the other reviews said, she makes you look like a better version of your normal self. Cynthia was amazing! You can stop looking for a makeup stylist now and book her! So personable, professional, charismatic, calming, and talented-- I knew from the beginning she was just the person I wanted around on wedding day! She works quickly and I was so happy with how my makeup looked-- a more elegant version of myself! Cynthia was great! She was so fun and everybody just loved her! Everyone's makeup and lashes looked absolutely gorgeous for my wedding! My mom even wants to book her again just for fun! She was super personable and was happy to accommodate whatever the girls wanted! I usually find myself fixing my makeup after getting it done, but I did not even think about it on my wedding day! Look no further for your wedding make-up artist...Cynthia is the one! My daughter booked her for a trial and was very pleased with the attention, professionalism, and finished product. Cynthia came to the wedding venue at Publick House, Sturbridge (no travel charge) to do the make-up for the bride, six bridesmaids, and me, mom of the bride. Her charge was reasonable and the outcome for each of us was perfect. It was a polished but natural look that looked the same at the end of the night as it did when she made the first application. She was professional, organized, and fun! With each of us, she asked a few make-up questions and carried on conversation that put us at ease. We could not have been happier. She is a true gem!!

Cynthia K. is absolutely fantastic! I found Cynthia on weddingwire.com when I needed to have my make-up done for my engagement pictures. She had such a warm personality and was so much fun to work with, I knew that I had to have her for my wedding day! Cynthia did a fantastic job doing make-up for myself and my bridesmaids on my wedding day. Everyone looked stunning and had a lot of fun chatting with her while they were getting ready. Cynthia was an absolute doll! I couldn't be more happier with her services and how special she made not only myself, but my mom and bridesmaids feel (and look!) She took the time to come out to my house for the trial.. and was very very helpful on deciding what I wanted my makeup to look like on the big day. When my wedding day arrived, I was not at all nervous about what my makeup would turn out like or worried that Cynthia wouldn't show up because a few days before she had e-mailed me a detailed schedule of when she would do mine as well as the other girls. I was SO relieved, one less thing to stress about! Cynthia is very outgoing and such a sweetheart. I'm SO pleased!!

Cynthia is the warmest, most wonderful person. I was so nervous about my makeup for the wedding, and she has such a welcoming, calming presence that puts you at ease. She was honest-to-goodness genuinely interested in how my (now husband) and I met, and I know that helped her to shape what her goals were for what my makeup should look like. She ran options by me of what I might be looking for, of course, and made sure to involve me in every decision of what I had imagined looking like on the day.

The day of, she was at my house - and she lit up the kitchen with every application of makeup she did. Myself, and three of my bridesmaids sat in her chair and each one looked absolutely stunning. Plus, at one point, it felt as if she was one of the bridesmaids, too, just hanging out in the kitchen talking! Really, she is a gem and such a talented woman. I would hire her again for any major event I needed makeup done for!

Cynthia is hands down the best makeup artist out there... she is truly talented and works wonders!! My sister hired Cynthia for her wedding and we all loved her work and her personality. So when my wedding came around I didn't even call anyone else, my choice was easy, I wanted no one but Cynthia to do my makeup. She is extremely professional, absolutely gorgeous and loves every minute of what she does. Anyone that comes in contact with her instantly feels her warmth and genuineness! To say I am extremely pleased with how my makeup came out on my wedding day would be an understatement.. I was in love with how it came out and so was everyone else. Guests at my wedding were asking me who did my makeup and friends there were asking for her contact info for their upcoming weddings. She is truly THAT good and every time I'm asked to be in a wedding, my first question is who's doing the makeup? I want to make sure Cynthia does it so it is guaranteed to be absolutely beautiful!!

Cynthia has such a positive energy about her which really brightens up the room. I was an out of town bride and was so happy when a last minute trial with Cynthia worked out. She was so great about being flexible that way. After the trial I had a few tweaks that I wanted to make and she got those perfectly on the day of the wedding! The long last lip color was really long lasting (so much so that there was still some color left the next day) and the false lashes she gave me looked great/natural and were not uncomfortable (and it was the first time ever that I tried false lashes). I don't usually wear much makeup normally and she was really great in creating a look that was flawless and still natural but with some drama that is needed for such an important day.

Cynthia was excellent to work with and I highly recommend her. I am extremely picky with my make-up and Cynthia met with me twice leading up to the wedding to ensure we got the make-up just perfect. The day-of, it came out flawless! In addition, I had 7 bridesmaids and she was able to quickly apply their make-up the day-of to their specifications and everyone was very pleased and looked great in the pictures. I also want to mention that Cynthia is very personable and creates a calm atmosphere, which was very helpful to me during the day of my wedding.

I just had my wedding over the weekend and I wanted to write a review while it was still fresh. Cynthia is hands down the best choice for your wedding make-up! She is incredibly talented and all of my bridesmaids commented on how beautiful they felt. Several of the wedding guests also commented to my parents how beautiful we all looked too - and I wholeheartedly think this is because of Cynthia.

We had a mixed crowd of make-up users in my bridal party: two of my bridesmaids are used to make-up for dance performance, another bridesmaid prefers lighter make-up, and my sister/MoH prefers bolder make-up. Cynthia accommodated everyone effortlessly. She also made me feel the prettiest I have ever felt which is so important on your big day! She even touched up a few skin imperfections on my body that I was worried about. And all of the make-up lasts! I was dancing non-stop and the makeup didn't budge!

In addition to her make-up skills, Cynthia is also incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. She really listens to what each person wants and was incredibly responsive to all of my questions before the wedding and last minute requests while we got ready. She even painted my toe nails!!! I hadn't had time to change the polish before the wedding and Cynthia got down on the floor and painted them!!! This isn't a service she would normally provide, and I am still blown away that she was willing to help me feel and look my best.

Lastly, she is honest - she wrote me a message after the wedding to let me know I had overpaid her. (I am terrible at counting out bills) She wanted to touch base with me to see how to return any money that was not rightfully hers. How amazing is that?!

If you are on the fence about make-up make sure to book a trial with Cynthia! She is so talented and I knew once I booked her that I would have no regrets.

Cynthia is a fabulous makeup artist. I don't wear a ton of makeup and was very nervous for what I would look like on my wedding day - I wanted to look natural but also 'pop' in pictures. During the trial Cynthia listened to my concerns and at the end I looked exactly how I wanted. I was so impressed! On the day of the wedding Cynthia did everything that we talked about. Also my mom decided last minute to get her makeup done and Cynthia did not even hesitate doing it (even though we had taken up so much of her time already). I cannot say enough positive things about Cynthia. I have recommended her to all future brides I meet and hope to have an event coming up where I can have her do my makeup again!

Cynthia was a pleasure to work with for my wedding. I absolutely loved my make-up. During the trial Cynthia is there to listen and get a good idea of the look you are going for. She did such a good job understanding what I wanted (I showed her a few pictures, etc) I didn't have to change one thing about the trial. Cynthia made things very easy for me! Cynthia has a great personality and is responsive, which I found very helpful when planning a wedding. She even was able to write down all the make up products she used during my trial so between the trial and the time of my wedding (which was months later) I actually bought a few things and played around with them beforehand. I would highly recommend Cynthia for your makeup artist. She is extremely talented and truly a pleasure to work with!

Cynthia Klocek was simply amazing! She was so easy to reach for both my trial and bridal makeup I could not ask for more. I am usually not big into tons of makeup but she gave so many options. I can't say enough great things about Cynthia. I hired her to do my make-up for my wedding on June 1st - and most simply, she is an incredible artist who made me look and feel absolutely STUNNING!!! Not to mention, she is such a great, caring, and kind person. She is extremely quick in responding to emails, and was great at listening to exactly what I wanted to look like for my wedding. I got compliments ALL night long - and just recently got to see a preview of some of my photos, and my make-up looks flawless and so natural. As a side note... Even though it was 95 degrees on my wedding day - my make-up never showed any signs of 'melting' or coming off due to the heat. Cynthia was absolutely fantastic, and I knew the minute I met her for a pre-wedding trial that she was the woman I wanted doing my make-up for my big day! She is just so supportive, kind, and easy to talk to that she puts all your worries at ease. At first I was a little wary about getting my makeup done because I don't usually wear that much make-up on an everyday basis, but I am so glad I decided to get it done and so glad I decided on her! Cynthia literally will make you look like the best possible version of yourself. She expertly highlights and very naturally accentuates all of your best features so that you still look like you...but better! She loves her job and it really shows. I have to give Cynthia all the credit in the world for making me look amazing on my wedding day. She is such a pleasure to work with. She came over my house for the trial and did such a great job. She is so easy to talk to, so you are able to freely tell her what exactly you are looking for. One the wedding day she came right on time and got started with my bridesmaids, they looked gorgeous. I usually do not wear a lot of makeup and my husband likes me all natural, but she did such a great job going in between the two of looking like I had make up on but also all natural. The makeup turned out awesome and I couldn't have felt more beautiful! Everytime someone told me how good I looked, I had to give her full credit. She is so lovely to work with. This review is a bit overdue but much deserving. I really can’t say enough good things about Cynthia! From the makeup trial to wedding day, I had an excellent experience with her. Cynthia really listened to my makeup style during the trial and made sure I loved everything she did. I was nervous that I’d look overdone with professional makeup but that wasn’t the case at all. She made me feel comfortable and look like myself - just better than usual!! On my wedding day, my makeup looked just as fabulous it did during the trial and didn’t budge the entire night. Cynthia really took her time to make me feel beautiful on my special day. Thanks to her, I looked great and got so many compliments on my makeup. I wish she could do my makeup every day! I booked Cynthia for my June 9, 2012 wedding based on a referral from a friend who had just completed her makeup trial. My friend gushed over email about how much I would love Cynthia and that she maintains your natural look, but enhances you to look your very best. Boy was she right!! Cynthia came to my family home where the bridal party was getting ready for the day and did my makeup, my mom’s, and four of my bridesmaids. Everyone looks gorgeous!! Cynthia uses Mac makeup which photographs beautifully. One of my bridesmaids loved Cynthia so much she booked her for her June 2013 wedding too! Cynthia is so much fun to be around and has the perfect upbeat, cheerful personality that you want to be around on your wedding day. I recommend Cynthia very highly!

Cynthia did an absolutely wonderful job! She did my makeup for my engagement photos and my wedding day, and I felt absolutely beautiful. The makeup looked great in all my pictures too! I was very overwhelmed by all the options we had for vendors on our wedding day. I knew when it came to makeup I wanted someone who would give me a made-up but natural look on my wedding day. I don't wear a lot of makeup normally so of course I wanted to look made-up but not like a different person! I read some reviews and saw Cynthia's work on her site and decided to contact her. She drove to my house (over an hour) to do a trial for my mom and I. We loved how down-to-earth she was and accommodating. She was on time on the wedding day and had everything we needed. I decided last minute I wanted to do air-brush makeup on my face and she had everything set up and ready to go. My makeup stayed on the whole day and everyone commented how great it looked! AMAZING, JUST AMAZING.
Cynthia is the very best! My MOH used her for a wedding about a year and a half ago and I knew when I eventually got married she was the only option to do my make up! I am so happy she was available. She made all 11 of us (8 bridesmaids, 2 moms, 1 bride) feel beautiful! She took time to get to know everyone and understand what everyone was comfortable with. My bridesmaids have not stopped raving about her. She was right on schedule all day long which I was nervous about because we had so many people. She did not skip a beat and finished up all ahead of schedule. I HIGHLY recommend her to any bride out there! You will not regret having her be a part of your big day!
