Cynthia was an absolute dream to work with from start to finish. From our very first conversation to the final delivery of our photos, she brought such a calm, grounding presence that made the entire experience feel effortless. On a day filled with so much emotion and excitement, having her there was truly a gift.
What sets Cynthia apart is her remarkable ability to capture real emotion and tell a story through her photos. Of course, we love our portraits and family photos, but the images we find ourselves returning to again and again are the quiet, in between moments. The photos that instantly transport you back to how the day felt. The glances, the laughter, the tears, and the moments we didn't even realize were happening were all captured by Cynthia. She has such a natural eye for the little details that make the story feel complete when you scroll through your gallery.
My husband was so worried our wedding day would feel like an all day photo shoot, and because of Cynthia, it never felt that way at all. She lets you truly live in the moment, almost like a fly on the wall, while still being incredibly perceptive and stepping in with subtle cues or reassurance exactly when needed. We always felt completely confident that she we capturing everything beautifully, without ever pulling us out of the experience.
If we had to go back and do it all again, Cynthia Mae Photography would be our choice every single time. We are beyond grateful for the way she preserved our day, not just as photos, but as memories we will relive for the rest of our lives. -

June Wedding
Cynthia was an absolute pleasure to work with! She has such a calm, easy-going presence that instantly put my husband and me at ease. Something we especially appreciated during the emotional moments of our big day. Even when we fell behind schedule and I worried we wouldn’t have enough time for photos, Cynthia reassured me we’d get plenty and she was absolutely right. She managed to capture so many beautiful moments, some of which I had no idea she was even photographing. This made the whole experience feel so natural.
We recently received our wedding album, and we are truly in awe of Cynthia’s artistry and talent. Her ability to tell our story through photos is unmatched. She goes above and beyond, not only on the wedding day itself, but also in the months leading up to it. She made sure every detail was perfect and that we got photos that matched our wedding Pinterest inspo board. We couldn’t be more grateful to have had her capture our day! -

An incredible experience!
Booking Cynthia as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day!
I was a bit nervous to be in front of the camera that much on our wedding day, but those concerns went away after we had our engagement photos with Cynthia. She made us both feel so comfortable and excited for our wedding day photos. Fast forward to our wedding day, it was one of the hottest & windiest days in June, but Cynthia worked her magic to provide us with stunning photos. She was strategic and agile with the timeline considering the heat, too. My family & bridal party even commented on her ability to organize the large bridal party with such a calm & patient presence. We absolutely love our photos and can’t stop looking at them, especially because Cynthia does such a great job of telling the story through the photos and capturing the candid moments that carry the most emotions. Not to mention, she is so speedy with her turnaround times! -

There are so many things I could say about Cynthia—her eye for beautiful moments, her creativity, her talent—but what I really want to say is this: Cynthia was the one person I never had to stress about on our wedding day.
I have followed Cynthia’s work for many years and knew she would be the perfect fit for our big day once it came to deciding on photographers. From the very first phone call, she was such a comforting presence. As a “Type A” bride, I knew trusting vendors to bring our vision to life would be tough, but Cynthia asked all of the right questions, sent timelines and made sure there was nothing for me to worry about. I never had to chase her for answers or wonder what the next step was. She was professional but also incredibly warm—someone I genuinely enjoyed working with!
On the day of our wedding, Cynthia showed up early, camera in hand, calm, collected, and completely in sync with everything happening around us. She somehow managed to be everywhere without ever being in the way. She caught the quiet in-between moments, the belly laughs, the teary smiles—things I didn’t even see!
And it gets even better! The photos? They're everything. They're us. They're better than I even hoped. We have so loved re-living this day over and over again through Cynthia’s work.

I knew we had found our photographer after one conversation with Cynthia. Beyond her portfolio being absolutely stunning, she had an ability to, in just a single call, make me feel heard, understood, and calm. I knew that she would bring her beautiful artistry to our wedding day but, most importantly, her intentional, kind, and creative spirit. And we were right! Cynthia was incredible from the start and throughout the entire process. She was always just a text away, supporting us through logistical issues, helping to build timelines, and answering our crazy questions. On the day of our wedding, she was there for every moment. She captured venue shots, family portraits, candid laughter, overflowing emotions, pure joy, and lots of silliness. She was game for all our requests. And she ensured that we had all of the photos that we wanted before leaving, including a brief but fun intermission for evening photos outside the venue. I am also astounded by how quickly she turned around our previews (the next day - what??!?) and our full album just a few weeks later! The photos are simply gorgeous and we couldn't be happier. My friend took one look at our album and said "I don't envy you because there is no way you're going to be able to pick just a few of these to print because they're all INCREDIBLE." And I agree 100%! Thank you to Cynthia for so thoughtfully and beautifully recording our day. We will treasure these photos forever! -

We could not have asked for a better photographer for our wedding day. From our first meeting with Cynthia we felt completely at ease and knew that our big day was in good hands. She took the time to get to know us, understanding exactly what we wanted in our photos, and even offered helpful suggestions based her experience.
We unfortunately had to cancel our original wedding due to natural disaster damage, we ended up rescheduling and relocating our wedding all in 2 weeks and Cynthia made the process SO easy and went above and beyond to make sure our day was the perfect day for us.
On the wedding day, Cynthia was professional, attentive, and truly captured the essence of the day. She had a remarkable ability to be in the right place at the right time, taking candid shots that perfectly reflected the joy and emotion of the day, while also coordinating beautiful formal portraits. We were particularly impressed with how she made everyone feel comfortable, ensuring that our friends and family were relaxed, which resulted in natural, stunning photos.
The final images were beyond our expectations. Each photo tells a story, from the quiet moments to the big celebrations, and we love how Cynthia was able to capture the intimate, special moments we may have missed in the whirlwind of the day. The quality of the photos is exceptional, and we couldn’t be happier with the final gallery that we received within 24 hours.

It didn't take me long to decide Cynthia was the photographer we wanted to use for our wedding. She was quick to respond to our initial inquiry, was helpful and flexible with customizing a package that would work for our needs, and continued to be that extra support I didn't know I needed on the day of our wedding. Cynthia is professional and takes charge in the best way possible. Her portfolio is beautiful so I knew we were in good hands, but I was still blown away by our album. I am so grateful to have all of these memories captured in the most beautiful way. It was truly the best day of our lives and it comes through in the photos Cynthia captured for us. -

Kind and professional, with amazing photography!
We feel so lucky to have had Cynthia as our photographer. She is incredibly professional, timely, and knows how to work in any situation that might come up on the day-of and wrangle family members together for those big group pictures. She also really gets to know you and your spouse and has such a warm, welcoming personality. We had initially booked her for a different date and had to change it to move our wedding out an entire year, AND changed the venue to a place that was not only difficult to get to travel-wise, but required a lot more logistics in general. Despite this, she was incredibly flexible, easy to work with, and so game for any changes that we made! Not to mention the absolute best part of working with her, apart from all of those other great factors, is really how incredible her pictures turn out. They captured our wedding perfectly. I felt so confident in having her as my photographer, that I did not hire a videographer. I am more than pleased to say that I didn't need one based on how great the photos turned out and how many pictures she took throughout the day! Now, as I am going back and printing them for family members for the holidays, I am always reminded and so impressed by her work and work ethic. It should be known that she had an incredibly busy weekend with our wedding on a Friday, another the day after, and her birthday the day after - and we still somehow received 60 fully edited photos the morning after our wedding! Cynthia goes above and beyond, and clearly works her tail off on every project, and it does not go unnoticed. We also never felt like we were just another wedding to her, her kindness and caring always shined through in every interaction via text, phone call, or in person. She is a master coordinator of all things leading up to the wedding and should honestly consider taking up wedding planning as a side gig too because she helped our day run SO smoothly. I cannot say enough good words about our experience with her (and her second photographer that helped throughout the day as well!) and recommend her highly to all of my family, friends, and anyone that will listen. -

I cannot say enough good things about Cynthia! From the very first phone call through our wedding album delivery, we have been SO impressed with her professionalism, her talent, and how fast she is to deliver images without sacrificing quality. We had so much fun meeting Cynthia during our engagement shoot and knew without a doubt we had made the right decision because of how comfortable she made us feel. She gave us plenty of variety in recommended poses, was flexible with us through multiple outfit changes, and captured our love perfectly. On our wedding day, she was able to lead a huge bridal party through photos with ease and provided fun/ clear directions to everyone to make sure we got all of the shots that were important to us. She was always there to answer questions, provide tips, and make us feel at ease. She delivered SO many wonderful sneak peeks the day after our wedding, and soon after an entire album of images that we've looked at basically every day since :). We love how she organizes the album so that it's easy to find the images you're looking for (family vs. bridal party vs. portraits of my husband and I) and the quality/ quantity she delivers is truly unmatched. Hiring Cynthia was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! Her light & airy style was
exactly what we were looking for and during our initial phone conversation I felt like I was speaking with
a friend. Cynthia has a great way of balancing her recommendations and professional opinion with what
each couple wants. It felt like we were on the same wavelength throughout our planning process. We
LOVED our engagement shoot and the photos turned out beautifully. She made both of us feel
comfortable in front of the camera. I was so excited to see her on our wedding day! She brought two
additional shooters and both were wonderful. Our families felt comfortable in front of the camera and
the team worked together exceptionally well. They did an amazing job keeping us on (and honestly
ahead of) schedule the entire day. Cynthia also smoothly accommodated every single thing I asked for
on the wedding day (like a last-minute mini “first look” with my brother). Cynthia is also adding value to
her services by providing film photography which was a beautiful bonus that we will always treasure. I

Cynthia Mae Photography = Best Decision We Made
Anyone who knows me knows how important pictures are to me. I did a lot of research when I was looking for a photographer and as soon as I saw Cynthia’s page I instantly fell in love! Her pictures are beyond beautiful with the brightness and timeless look! From the start Cynthia was SO sweet and accommodating! She picked the absolutely best area! I was so nervous for our engagement shoot but Cynthia made us feel so comfortable and the pictures were beautiful and she got the cutest pictures of our pup! Throughout the whole wedding planning process she was there to help with any questions I had and to show us how everything should go so we felt prepared! Our wedding day was so stressful at first but once Cynthia arrived everything felt so calm and relaxed. She has a way of making you feel so comfortable and cared about! The pictures from our wedding day truly turned out beautiful! Better than I ever expected!! She made my family and the whole bridal party look amazing! Some of the pictures that she took, I cried when I saw them because she really captured the smallest moments of the day that meant so much! Cannot recommend Cynthia enough!
Cynthia and her secondary shooters were an absolute pleasure to work with. We ran ahead of schedule all day for photos which was fabulous. They endured rain and heat for us all day! Cynthia is literally magic - between her film camera (so cool!) and her digital shooting, we got every desired shot we wanted 🙂 She was the hype girl I needed in my wedding day and rolled with the punches as the weather and our schedule changed throughout the day. The answer, is unequivocally "yes." Cynthia is worth it for her uncanny ability to make you feel at ease behind a camera. She is worth it for her easygoing and affable nature. She is worth it because her communication and responsiveness are second to none. She is worth it because her photographs will make you feel as if you waltzed off the page of a wedding magazine. Wonderful Last Minute Elopement Experience
We contacted Cynthia about a month before our spontaneous elopement. Originally we were going to go with another photographer but that photographer booked the date we had planned. Naturally, I was a little panicked about finding a replacement on such short notice but Cynthia responded quickly and was able to work with us. I am so glad we went with her to capture our wedding memories. From the first message she was friendly and always available to answer any questions we had.
The day of the wedding she was both personable and professional. We haven’t had professional photos as a couple before so we were glad when she helped us with posing. The poses she directed us in were natural and she was open to our input. When we were feeling awkward she joked around with us and made us laugh. It was very comfortable being photographed by Cynthia and she was flexible with our plans.
We wanted photos at the wedding venue and some at Saugatuck Dunes State Park (about 20 min away) and she was so accommodating even though we had to walk 1 mile to the beach at the second location. She was pleasant to talk to and get to know during our walk.
Finally, the photos themselves were gorgeous. We got them back within a month and there were about 250 photos in our album. Considering how short our ceremony was and that most of the photos were just the two of us, it was surprising that there were so many. They were all edited beautifully. I just had most of them printed and we couldn’t be happier with how they turned out.
We plan on doing a second ceremony with family and friends in 2023 and we definitely want to work with her again. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer, you can’t go wrong with Cynthia. -

From the start, Cynthia was so incredibly easy to work with. We had seen her body of work and knew her photos were gorgeous but there is so much more to Cynthia than that. She was incredibly attentive to us while we planned our unique wedding day and was so helpful and flexible when it came to our planning. However, the greatest thing that Cynthia brought to our wedding day was her attitude and presence. Brides, your wedding photographer will be there with you while you are getting ready for the most special day of your life- their aura and personality cannot be overlooked! Cynthia brought such a light and calming presence with her (while still being a complete professional) to an otherwise hectic "getting ready" time, and that alone was enough to make me so grateful we chose her to be our photographer. Cynthia was so easy-going but also worked incredibly hard to get the most amazing shots of us, all the while taking into consideration how we were feeling on our day. Our photos were so beautiful, we cannot recommend Cynthia enough! -

Oh my goodness... where do I even begin?! We cannot say enough amazing things about Cynthia! As soon as we got engaged we knew that wedding photography was at the top of our priority list. She was one of the first ones that I had found and reached out to. I honestly emailed at least 30 different photographers in total and I kept going back to her and comparing everyone to her every single time. Not only because she had the best package for the best price with the most gorgeous light/airy vibe, but she was SO enthusiastic and personable right away! From the moment we booked with her we knew we made the absolute best decision!!
We booked our engagement session shortly after and we finally got to meet her in person. We both felt like we had known her forever because of how comfortable she made us feel. Neither of us had any idea what to expect, but she made it sooo easy and so much fun we didn't want our session to end! She coached us through what to do the entire time to get the most genuine candid photos that turned out beautifully. This made us SO excited to hang out with her again on wedding day!
Throughout the planning process she was incredibly organized and on top of things, which was a major plus because that's totally what I needed. She was always checking in on me, always quick to respond if I had a question, created a day of timeline with me, and always had the best tips/advice to make wedding day run perfectly smooth!
On wedding day, she just made everything so effortless. She knew where to be and when to be there. We had a large bridal party and she handled our rowdy group with grace. She not only captures the important big moments throughout the day, but also the small behind the scenes moments that are some of the most memorable that we will forever cherish!
Less than 24 hours later she gave us over a hundred sneak peaks that were just breathtaking. That is just unheard of. Our friends & family could not stop raving about her as a person and her amazing talent!! Neither could we!
Bottom line - Cynthia is absolutely wonderful at what she does. She takes it to the next level and was so much more to us than our photographer! She made our whole experience so much better than we could have ever imagined!!

Choosing Cynthia Boyle as our photographer for our wedding was one of the best choices we could have made. Not only is she an incredible human, she is an exceptionally talented photographer. We found out about Cynthia through Instagram and immediately reached out to her. We immediately loved that she wanted to be as personal as possible. She was willing to offer advice on any aspect, cater to exactly what we envisioned, and be a pillar of support. It meant a lot, especially in this past year when things were so uncertain and unstable. Cynthia is so organized and it shows her professionalism. On the day of the wedding, she proved to be incredibly flexible. We had severe weather the day of and she was very creative in poses and solutions to ensure that we would still receive the pictures and memories we imagined. We also loved that she was checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. We loved that she sends the photos in an extremely timely manner and they turned out amazing. Easily the best decision we made
Hiring Cynthia Boyle as our photographer for our wedding last month was the best decision I made while we were wedding planning. When people tell you your wedding day goes fast you cannot possibly wrap your head around it until you have lived it and FELT how fast a day can actually go. Cynthia kept us on schedule and was a calm presence and delivered photographs to us that were so effortlessly beautiful and in only a few weeks!
We find ourselves looking through them over and over again finding our "new favorite" picture from the day. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for capturing our wedding day in a way that blew our expectations out of the water!

I truly don’t even know where to start! There are not enough words to talk about how AMAZING Cynthia is!! From our first conversation I was hooked - her kindness is contagious and her passion for her work is unmatched! She is an EXCEPTIONAL photographer and an even better human being!
As soon as we booked Cynthia she immediately sent a book with all things wedding! It was a huge help throughout the planning process with what to wear, how to prepare your groom, and just all the details you would need for engagement shoot and the big day!!
Our engagement shoot was a blast!! She never made you feel rushed or uncomfortable! We truly felt like we had known her for years! It was a ton of fun and the pictures were BEAUTIFUL!! These happened through COVID and Cynthia was so flexible with days and times as well as locations! The best part — we had at least 5 previews by the end of the night!! Her turn around time is INCREDIBLE!!
Our wedding happened through COVID and it looked a lot different than we initially intended it to. Cynthia was the best listening ear and friend throughout the entire process. She revamped our day of timeline about 1000x to make it perfect for our modified day! As soon as she showed up the day of I was so excited! She made everyone feel so comfortable and at ease! She made sure everything was on time and running smoothly - literally the MVP of the day!! We also had a HUGE bridal party - we are talking 11 bridesmaids and 11 groomsman. Cynthia was able to coordinate and direct everyone so smoothly and effortlessly! We received at least 10 previews the next day and our full wedding gallery just 2.5 weeks after our big day. Her turn around time is AMAZING!! We absolutely love all of our pictures - her work is so so beautiful!
In short - the reason I chose Cynthia to capture our wedding day was because I loved her style, bright, light, photos. After getting to know her and personally experiencing her work I would choose her over and over again. I really can’t recommend Cynthia enough! She makes you feel so comfortable and like you have been friends for years. SHE IS INCREDIBLE!!!! -

Great photographer
We are so happy that we chose Cynthia as our wedding photographer! From the very beginning, she was very responsive and helpful with planning, from sending me a book of everything I would need to know, to providing locations and even traveling for our engagement and wedding shoots. I was super nervous about being in front of a camera and don't feel I am the most photogenic, but she made me and my husband feel so comfortable from the beginning. Since we got married in the pandemic and changed our wedding venue/plans multiple times, I was so stressed the day of the wedding, but she was literally the least stressful part of our day and was so flexible and understanding. We felt at ease and totally comfortable with her, and were able to not worry at all about photography the day of! When we received our images a few days later (so quick!), we were so happy with them and how she captured our wedding in such a natural and genuine way. I would highly recommend booking Cynthia! -

First off, I knew Cynthia was meant to be my photographer when we instantly bonded over The Office during our first phone call! I live about 2 hours away from her so we didn't meet in person until my engagement session. The minute I met her, I knew it was meant to be!!
She is such a caring, positive, and fun person and I am so beyond happy that my husband and I hired her as our photographer. Cynthia was always SUPER quick to respond to any questions that I had which made the overall experience effortless!
When I got my engagement photos back for the first time, I was blown away with the quality of them and the work she put into them. Even my fiance at the time commented on how easy the session was (he hates having photos taken) and she was able to work with us really well! She has a light and airy photography style which is what I wanted for wedding photos. Her editing style is really comparable to other photographers in my area, but her personality is what separated her from the others.
If you need a fantastic light and airy photographer she is definitely the go to! :)

From the very beginning, Cynthia was friendly and easy to talk to. She was willing to call both my parents and my fiance's parents to explain every detail of the photo package. Cynthia helped us come up with a beautiful location for our engagement photos and made my fiance feel SO comfortable when taking them (like many men, he hates taking pictures). The pictures turned out BEAUTIFUL and we had the previews the SAME DAY. We received all of our engagement pictures within a week. When Covid-19 hit the US hard, we became concerned about our wedding even happening. Cynthia was only a text away and was reassuring me that it would all be okay! She helped me think of different options (totally not even her job!); she went above and beyond to help us make our wedding day happen, and happen exactly how we wanted given the circumstances. She arrived on time during the wedding day with her second shooter and began working with the groomsmen and my other family right away while I finished getting ready. Cynthia's work is absolutely gorgeous, and I received so many photos back from our day. I can't wait to hang those photos up around my house and to cherish them forever. I couldn't have had a better photographer, and I honestly plan on hiring her again and again in the future for anniversary and family photos. Photography was at the top of my priority list for our wedding. I didn't want to trust just anyone to capture the most important day of my life. Don’t overthink it and book Cynthia! I spent countless hours researching and receiving quotes from dozens of photographers all over Michigan and I am SO thankful that we decided to go with Cynthia to capture our wedding (and engagement) photos. From start to finish Cynthia (and her second shooter Jamie) blew me away with her professionalism, communication, overall ease to work with and most importantly her quality of work!! Besides marrying my husband, hiring Cynthia Boyle Photography was the best decision I made for my wedding day. I knew I wanted Cynthia as my wedding photographer after the first time we talked on the phone. She instantly felt like a best friend! Hire Cynthia if you want a personal hype woman, an extra best friend, a timeline planner and someone to be around to help you feel calm and happy during your entire wedding day! From the first conversation I had with Cynthia, it felt as if we were old friends. Her kind heart and energetic personality take your stresses away. She is so organized and carefully considers every detail to ensure you will have the most perfect day. Her ability to make the most bland areas so vibrate and beautiful is a skill that is unmatched. She captures every detail so that it truly tells a story. I couldn't believe it when I opened my email to find a gallery with dozens of photos just TWO days after my wedding. When my dad unexpectedly became hospitalized the week after my wedding, I asked Cynthia if she could send me a photo from the first look with my parents, even unedited, I just wanted it for his room. Within a few hours she sent all the photos from that first look, edited and ready for print. It meant more to me than she could have ever known. We had a completed album within eleven days. I was in total shock. The photos are breath taking. They are so bright and timeless. My husband and I are pretty awkward when having photos taken, but when we look at our photos we don't see awkwardness. We see a couple who is completely in love with each other in awe of the fact they get to spend their lives together captured on the happiest day of their lives. It is thanks to Cynthia being so laid back, so confident, so reassuring, so professional and so kind. We truly cannot recommend Cynthia enough. She was an asset to our wedding day.
