Beautiful Photos!

I first hired in 2019 Cyndi to photograph our engagement photos and our June 2020 wedding. The onset of the pandemic threw all of our plans into the air. However, Cyndi was entirely understanding and flexible. When it was safe, she scheduled a socially distant family and engagement shoot for us. Then in 2021, Cyndi photographed our intimate wedding ceremony and captured the most beautiful portraits and candid photos that we were able to share with friends and family who could not attend. Our favorite was a shot she got of our dog stealing cake frosting! And finally, in June 2022 Cyndi photographed our 1st anniversary/reception/wedding party extravaganza. She again captured beautiful photographs that we and our families will cherish forever. In all 3 shoots we got more lovely and edited photos than we could imagine and we got them back quickly. If I could ever convince my husband to have another wedding celebration, I would certainly hire Cyndi again!

Cyndi captured our wedding beautifully and we have hundreds of digital memories to look back upon for years to come because of her great work!! She guided us based on her expertise and years of experience and we are so happy we were able to collaborate with her to get all our shots from throughout the day. She listened to our input and made everything happen and improvised when needed, even climbing on ladders to get the perfect shot of our entire reception :). She was extremely professional from beginning to end but was very personable so she made us feel comfortable and confident through the entire process. You will be so happy picking Cyndi to capture your wedding day and I highly recommend her!!

We had Cyndi as our wedding photographer in North Hero, VT and we are very pleased with her work! She was to the point and made sure to have everybody organized to capture the images we wanted in a timely fashion so we could spend time with our guests. I loved how she was creative and improvised right on the spot according to what the surroundings were. We are still going through all of the pictures but we are very happy so far. As if the pictures aren't already amazing to begin with, she edits each of them herself which makes them even more breathtaking.

Cyndi is amazing! Not only did she take beautiful pictures of our wedding day, but she is a lovely, genuine person who is a pleasure to be around. As others have said, we knew the minute we met her that we wanted her to photograph our wedding. She does a great job of making you feel comfortable. She was outstanding during the actual day, and she continued to be available to answer all of our questions even after the wedding was over. We told her we wanted lots of candid shots and captured moments and that's exactly what she delivered. There are so many great photos that my husband and I still can't decide which ones we want to have her frame for us (she makes great block frames) almost one year later! You will not regret booking Cyndi Freeman as your wedding photographer.

Cyndi was great. My sister used her as a photographer for her wedding and we were so happy with the photos that we asked her to photograph my wedding five years later. She is very easy to work with and very helpful. Not only does she know how to capture intimate moments, but she also helped me with my hair and makeup. You can tell that she tries to sit back and allow the day unfold and let people be who they are as she guides them through her lens. We love our pictures and see new things in them every time we look at them.

After meeting with a few photographers in the Burlington area, and not finding exactly what we wanted, we met Cyndi. From the moment we met her we knew we wanted her to capture our special day. As a couple living in PA, but getting married in VT we needed to make decisions quickly while we were visiting Vermont; Choosing Cyndi as our photographer was a great decision! She kept in touch by sending e-mails frequently and was so helpful with ideas as we planned our wedding. She captured our entire day from start to finish beautifully! Her talent is truly amazing. We received our proofs within a month from our wedding (Just as she said we would!), and it took us three months to figure out what photos we want in our album because they are ALL so fantastic! Cyndi was not only a joy to work with, but she delivered a beautiful set of photographs to help us remember our special day. After all, when the wedding day is over, all that you have left are your memories and photographs!

From the first time we met Cyndi we felt comfortable and knew that we were in good hands. She is such a sincere person and takes pride in all of her work. She was easy to get a hold of during all of the wedding planning which is important to any bride and groom while trying to finalize wedding details. We also received our wedding album and pictures in a timely fashion.
Cyndi was extremely professional and the pictures were breath taking! She shoots with digital and film cameras so you get the best of both worlds. All of her pictures were artistic, we especially loved all the black and white portraits and the candid pictures that she captured. She has a knack for organizing guests for shots while still making sure everyone is having a good time. We will continue to recommend Cyndi Freeman to anyone looking for their wedding day to be captured with pure elegance!

Cyndi was great to work with. She set aside the whole day for us and captured every moment. Our only problem has been deciding which pictures to frame, since we love them all. I would recomend her to everyone.

My wife and I heard many good things about Cyndi from the Grand Isle Lake House where our wedding was hosted and we also were able to see the quality of her photographs on her website. Within a couple of weeks of contacting Cyndi, we were able to meet her at a convenient location and discuss everything from her style of photography to the shots we wanted to capture on our wedding day. She was always professional, courteous, and above all, a good listener. On our wedding day, she was at the Lake House early and spent the entire day with us capturing every single moment from my wife's hair appointment to our first dance. Her photographs are truly one of a kind and we highly recommend her services to anyone who is interested in keeping the memories of their event alive for many years to come.

We discovered Cyndi online from her website as we were planning a remote destination wedding in Upstate NY/Vermont with a short lead-time. Cyndi was responsive and easy to work with--she clearly has a passion and artistic flair that is nicely coupled with her professional business sense. Cyndi understands key shots and captures them eloquently in the moment. From the tiny wedding ceremony, to the dinner at the Inn at Shelburne Farms, Cyndi captured many special moments that exceeded our expectations when we received the proofs! As we continue to share the photos with our family and guests, the feedback on the "moments" captured by Cyndi has been exceptional in every way. We especially like her showcase of four-color photos, along with the elegant black/white photos Cyndi captured for us.

We have now looked through every picture once and they are just lovely! We couldn't be happier with them. It is such a treat to see all of the pictures of what other people were doing throughout that day, as well as pictures of ourselves that we didn't remember until now! There are great shots of all of our family members and we can't wait to share them over the holidays. Everyone has commented that Cyndi was both everywhere and unobtrusive at the same time - so hard to do but so necessary at a wedding! We can't wait to go through the pictures again (and again and again)!

We were drawn to Cyndi's portfolio because of her photojournalistic flare. We really wanted our wedding photos to capture the "experience" and wanted as little "posed" photos as possible. Albeit it's been 6 years, my husband and I pulled out our beautiful album on our anniversary. Not to be sappy, but of course we got teary-eyed. Thanks, Cyndi, for capturing our memories so we can go back and visit them from time to time.

We struggled for a long time selecting a photographer for our wedding. We are not local to VT and did most of our searching online. We were drawn to Cyndi's photos out of all the photographers. This was one of our best decisions! Cyndi was professional, accommodating and she truly has an artistic eye! We were thrilled when we got our photos back! Working with Cyndi was a dream. She is a true artist in every sense of the word and I was captivated by the stories she tells with her lens. I wanted my wedding album to be original, organic, unposed or forced in any way. As a former ballerina, I also heavily choreographed my wedding. Cyndi captured the essence of the day and my photos are treasured keepsakes. She anticipated what was important to me and captured the beauty of Shelburne Farms magically. I enjoyed her fresh approach, professionalism, kindness, artistry and elegance and would highly highly recommend her to any bride or family who wants their photos to bring their special moments back to life every time they look at them. Cyndi is a great photographer. She is very professional and yet personal at the same time. She makes you feel at home and relaxed. Cyndi photographed our fall wedding in Vermont. We had some rain and windy conditions on our wedding day but Cyndi handled everything perfectly with a calm demeanor that put me at ease. She captured the beauty of our special day and gave us a lifetime of memories. She has a gift for taking beautiful, artistic shots with a candid style. I highly recommend her!

We could not be happier with our experience with Cyndi. From our very first meeting, we felt Cyndi's warmth and realized that she cares deeply about working with couples to capture special moments. Cyndi was thoroughly professional throughout the wedding planning and event. Cyndi shot our wedding at Shelburne Farms, 6 years ago now! As soon as I reviewed Cyndi's work and had the chance to sit down and chat with her I knew right away that she was the perfect match for what we were looking for in both style and personality. Cyndi's ever so kind nature, experience and artistic eye put us at ease and ever since the day we hired her we didnt think again about photography as we knew we were in good hands and the final results were extraordinary and exactly what she has promised and exactly what we were hoping for. She was everywhere without us even knowing, capturing special moments without ever disturbing. The wedding party loved her as she was quick and organized and we were able to get the necessary group shots without a lot of time or hassle. In addition for those of you who dont know she has had the cover of Vermont Wedding Guide at least twice since its been in publish, probably more since then, as a photo from our wedding was chosen for it! She is clearly highly recognized and well respected in her field. Ever since our wedding day, I have to say I consider Cyndi a friend - 6 years now and we still keep in touch. She has photographed my children and I will continue to use her any chance I can when we make it back to VT and I will always highly recommend her to friends and family.

Cyndi photographed our 08/07/2004 wedding in Montpelier/Barre, VT. I have nothing but rave reviews for her, even more than four years later. I really abhor stiff and staged poses, and was specifically looking for photojournalism -- was not disappointed at all. Friends and family who view our albums to this day always comment on the eye-catching artistry of the wedding photos; how every subtle moment was captured, from nieces and nephews struggling with ice cream cones and playing with paper airplanes, to my mom fixing my train, to unguarded laughter of friends, etc. No need to say this in words, just look at her portfolio!

She was very professional, organized and pleasant to deal with, from our initial meeting several months before the wedding, throughout the entire process and beyond. I remember, we had another difficult/rude vendor that she had to deal with, and she dealt with him calmly and professionally.

I definitely have her in mind to photograph our little ones in the future!

We had Cyndi do our wedding on 9/2/07 at the Maple Manor Inn in West Glover, VT. Cyndi's pictures were beautiful on this beautiful day. We especially loved her candids, and her timing and placement of the reception shots were perfect. Cyndi was always pleasant to deal with, and it was great to have such a positive and professional person around on our wedding day.

Cyndi photographed our wedding in Quechee and Woodstock in June 2005. She captured so many moments from our beautiful day that I will treasure forever. Her journalistic style was exactly what I was looking for. On top of having a great eye, she was also a joy to work with - she has an extremely easy going personality. Cyndi photographed my sister's wedding a few years earlier and she had the same wonderful experience. In fact, we are planning on using Cyndi next summer to take a family portrait - we can't imagine using anyone else.

Cyndi was fabulous. She photographed our summer wedding at Hildene in Manchester, VT and really captured not only the beauty of the location but the feeling of our whole wedding. When VT Vows chose our wedding as one of its features, they had plenty of beautiful shots to choose from!

Cyndi photographed both our rehearsal dinner and wedding at The Equinox in Manchester, VT in June 2006. The photographs are truly some of the most creative and artistic that I have seen they are stunning and really capture all of the beauty of the Equinox and its surrounding landscape as well as the moments of the ceremony and reception. I highly recommend Cyndi Freeman Photography! Cyndi photographed our wedding at Shelburne Farms in June of 2003. She captured our day, and all the special moments while blending into the background. She is so pleasant to work with--great ideas, but not pushy; thoughtfull, creative, artistic and highly skilled. Definitely worth the money! We LOVE our album and still look at it often. Five years later, we just had Cyndi take our family portrait--wouldn't have used anyone else.

Cyndi photographed our wedding June 7, 2008 at Shore Acres Inn and Restaurant in North Hero, VT. From the moment we met Cyndi and viewed her impressive portfolio my fiance and I immediately knew she was our first choice to photograph our wedding. One thing that really struck me when viewing Cyndi's portfolio was her ability to capture a loving essence that unfolded as I turned the pages of the weddings she had photographed. I knew that I wanted to have photographs that told a story and captured the emotion of the day, this is exactly what Cyndi did.
From the moment Cyndi arrived she blended into the background wherever we were and upon viewing photo's, Cyndi was able to capture moments that we didn't even see. Cyndi is not only one of the most talented photographers that I have encountered, she is also extremely professional, personable and unobtrusive. Cyndi photographed our wedding at the Wilburton Inn in Manchester in July 2007. She was gracious, professional and entirely unobtrusive while recording the entire event. I adore our portraits and the light and color in her photographs are gorgeous. She captured the beautiful landscape at the Wilburton and every aesthetic detail of the party and guests. Cyndi Freeman photographed my wedding 3 years ago. When I received my wedding album (in a timely manner) after my wedding, I was brought to tears. Cyndi is extremely professional and punctual. I felt so comfortable with her photographing some of the most important and intimate points in my life. She managed to capture so many memories without being obtrusive. We just had Cyndi photograph our August 2nd wedding in Woodstock, VT. I am not really sure where to begin! From the first call to the last picture shot, she was amazing. Cyndi is incredibly organized with all the details. While planning a wedding, you have enough things to remember, it was so nice to have her reach out to you throughout and keep you informed. As soon as she arrived on the wedding day, I was at ease. She has a true talent with her ability to capture every spectacular moment. We just sat down last night and reviewed all our pictures and I can certainly say the memories are here forever because she captured the ENTIRE night and every special moment. The best thing about Cyndi is that although she is there taking pictures throughout the entire night, it feels natural because you hardly notice her which I believe is a true talent. The result? Amazing pictures that capture every real and special moment!

Cyndi was our photographer for our Sept. 1, 2007 wedding in Manchester, VT. She did a fantastic job! We are so pleased with the photographs she took. They are beautiful, artistic and she really captured the joy we felt on that day. I booked Cyndi well in advance of our wedding date and over the course of the months leading up to our date, Cyndi called me in order to get to know me and to explore what we wanted. Everyone was impressed with her professionalism and how much she accomplished. Our family and friends have been so impressed with our wedding photographs which Cyndi shot digitally in color and in black in white. We are currently planning to have Cyndi take our one year anniversary photographs. We are so looking forward to seeing her again!

When I was searching for a wedding photographer, I wanted someone who could capture the moments that people might not even notice unless they were caught on film. Cyndi did exactly that. I was so thrilled when I saw the photos for the first time... it was like reliving the whole day, being able to see people's laughter and the moments they shared rogether that I had missed. I'm so thankful she was able to capture those moments for us. And the best part was that no one seemed to ever know she was there! Cyndi has an amazing eye, and working with her for our wedding was a breeze. I look forward to using her again for our family portraits.

Cyndi was a dream to work with. She photographed our wedding at the Trapp Family Lodge in 2005. She was always very easy to reach during the planning stages and very accommodating to all my requests. She's extremely artistic and talented in capturing that perfect moment. She also was very unobtrusive...we hardly saw her during reception and ceremony. I would recommend her highly....photography is the most important thing you can book for your wedding, and Cyndi won't disappoint!

My husband and I chose Cyndi as our photographer for our October wedding. We chose her not just because her photos were beautiful but because she was so pleasant, a great listener and someone we would like to hang out with. With these qualities we knew that we wouldnt feel like there was a photographer lurking about commanding, Say Cheeeeese and she would capture each moment.

Our outdoor wedding turned into quite the ordeal when we experienced rain, sleet, and snow. Cyndi went with the flow and adjusted her style for an indoor wedding in the living room of the Whitford House Inn. We were crowded in shoulder to shoulder for a cozy candlelit ceremony by the fire and Cyndi caught the most wonderful pictures of us and our guests. For many of these photos we didnt even realize she was there. Each shot was natural and gorgeous.

Cyndi was amazing and calm during a pretty nutty situation. She rose to the occasion and exceeded our expectations from her willingness to walk around in mud and switch from an outdoor wedding to indoor at the drop of a hat. Our innkeeper Barbara sang Cyndis praises as she hadnt seen anyone so professional and willing to help in this type of situation. Since our wedding we have stayed in touch and will definitely use her for future events and portraits. We love Cyndi!

My husband and I used Cyndi last fall for our wedding at the Hildene in Manchester, VT. I was at ease with her the first time I met her, she was very responsive and flexible on what we were looking for. The day of our wedding, I barely saw her during the ceremony and reception, I don't know how she came up with so many fantastic pictures while staying out of the way. Cyndi photographed our wedding for us 5 years ago now and I am still, to this day, delighted with my wedding photos. From the moment I met Cyndi I knew that she was going to provide us with the highest quality photos to remember our special day. She did not dissapoint. I recently got married at the Basin Harbor Club in Vergennes, VT in the fall, and Cyndi was our photographer. She was very professional and made sure I got all of the pictures that I wanted. Our wedding party was 12 people total in a rather large irish wedding, so she did very well with keeping us organized and on schedule for pictures and getting us into the reception on time. Definitely a great value for the quality pictures she gave us, and I highly recommend her.

I hired Cyndi for my wedding this past summer. I only had her for photos for 3 hours. She was very good with getting all the shots I asked of her and very beautiful candids!! She also got my photos back to me in a very timely manner!

Cyndi was extremely personable, supportive, and professional. She made a very stressful time more relaxing and wasn't intrusive or stood out, but blended more with the guests. There were photos of us that I didn't even know she had taken. Thanks Cyndi for all your hard work.
