Non stop compliments on our wedding, the venue, the food, the ambiance, the garden, the service, all impeccable. The coordinators did a great job at executing the vision we had and also allowing the flexibility to incorporate traditional Jewish dances, the hora, and lifting of the chairs. They pretty much allowed us to use the space how we wanted. The food was fantastic, and the guests loved it. Buffet food was amazing which is hard to do. I would say the only downside was having to communicate with the venue manager, the day of coordinator, and catering coordinator which got confusing at times because there were different things being communicated and some last minute changes that required us to scramble. Overall, we had the best wedding we could ask for. -

From start to finish, our wedding was an absolute dream come true! We enjoyed every single moment, and we received so many compliments from our guests. Everyone raved about the cocktail hour, where the delicious array of hors d'oeuvres set the perfect tone for the evening. The dinner was nothing short of spectacular and that left our guests talking about it long after the event.
The service was impeccable; the staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything ran smoothly. We truly felt like royalty! A huge shoutout to Christine, Michelle, and their incredible team. Their professionalism and creativity transformed our vision into reality, and their attention to detail did not go unnoticed.
We are so grateful for all the effort they put into making our day special and unforgettable. It exceeded all our expectations and created memories we will cherish forever! Thank you for making our wedding a magical experience we will treasure forever! -

My wedding review
Cv rich was Top notch all the way for my wedding they went above and beyond and with the help of my vendors made my dreams come true . Christine my planner was with me from the day I viewed the mansion. They made every experience a delight . From our tasting to our rehearsal . May our bartender for the rehearsal and the wedding was Amazing and people couldn’t say enough about her . They are true professionals and Talents in their craft. Every detail seamlessly came together and it was worth every penny . Even my rehearsal dinner at their restaurant Sam’s of Gedneys way was amazing . I would highly recommend both the restaurant and the mansion . Any little hiccup was taken care of immediately !! Thank you again CV rich mansion and Sam’s of Gedneys way staff you are truly amazing ! -

We had a tough time finding where to start with this review because every element of our wedding at CV Rich Mansion surpassed our expectations.
A major reason why we chose this venue was due to it’s location. Our family and friends were coming from NY, NJ, PA, MA, NH, ME, and some southern/western states, so we were looking for somewhere easily accessible from all directions (with no crazy traffic like in BX/LI/NYC), near an airport, hotel, and with a lot of things to do nearby. White Plains was perfect and very charming. Our hotel, venue, restaurants, cafes, stores, mall and after party bar were all within 5-10 minutes of each other and super easy to get to.
Christine was our point person from day one. Communication with her was timely and transparent throughout the entire process and her professional demeanor made our experience stress-free. As an out-of-state couple, she was super helpful providing insight, sending pictures, answering questions as they popped up, and scheduling a few visits for us before and after the wedding. She gave her honest opinion which helped us a lot when we were on the fence with a few things. Upon arrival for the rehearsal, we met with Christine and Michelle, who were a great help to us and our families - from the many questions to the many boxes of decorations we brought in ourselves, they had positive attitudes and were able to create a beautiful day for us with the help of their team at CV Rich. We really loved working with everyone there!
Since we were not as familiar with the area, Christine suggested having our rehearsal dinner nearby at their sister property, Sam’s of Gedney Way. This is where we had our initial tasting for the wedding menu (which was a blast) and where we ended up returning for the rehearsal dinner that was just as fun as our wedding. We had a private room on the enclosed patio, which was perfect for our group. The food was unbelievable - our guests were raving about it all weekend - and the service was amazing. We were able to meet May, head bartender for our wedding, who worked both of these events - she was phenomenal.
Photos of the mansion were great - we booked this venue without even visiting - but once we were able to see it in person, it was so much better than we thought. We loved how there were so many rooms for our guests to access and the vast amount of windows that let in natural light throughout the mansion. The rooms were already so nicely decorated, we didn’t need to do much to them. There was plenty of room for the items that we did display (6’ seating chart mirror, photo frames, guest book, card boxes and small bud vases). The sun rooms were my favorite, and were so perfect for our portrait photos when we were unable to have them outside due to the rain. Having two separate bridal suites upstairs the whole day/night was ideal; this private area was great for getting ready (hair & makeup were done at the hotel) and storing our personal items during the event. Unfortunately, our photographers didn’t capture as many photos of the venue itself, which we are very sad about, since everything looked so beautiful (I tried to include a few photos here that do show it off a bit).
With rain in the forecast, we knew there was a chance we’d have to move the ceremony inside. Christine was texting with me all morning as we discussed the best possible options. We ended up having the ceremony inside, which was disappointing since we were dreaming of our ceremony in the garden for so many months, but the team made the ballroom look absolutely beautiful and comfortably fit our 155 guests. Christine and Michelle had an assortment of the cocktail hour food sent up to the bridal suite for us to enjoy alone right after our ceremony ended - that time with just the two of us (and food) was so essential, I recommend that to all future couples.
The food was outstanding and our guests were blown away by our cocktail hour which included 8 passed hors d’oeuvres, three theme food stations, a full bar, and a coffee/tea/water station. The food during the reception was also phenomenal. For the first time ever, my 6’6 football player groom had no room for a second plate that was offered to him - he thoroughly enjoyed cocktail hour and dinner. Shoutout to May again who made sure we always had our water and favorite drinks replenished at our sweetheart table!Dessert was wonderful for those who weren’t too busy dancing or smoking cigars. We had a coffee/cappuccino/espresso cordial bar set up off the ballroom near the exit, but unfortunately not many people knew it was there since there was so much going on in that room. There was a photo booth area, table with a live cigar roller, full bar, and cordial bar all set up in that room (also where the bathrooms were located off of). I was a little uncertain if the dance floor would be big enough for everyone (we were supposed to have 175-200 guests, ended up with 155 with last-minute declines the week of), but with the DJ up on the stage and the tables spaced perfectly around the perimeter, it was the best size.
If we were to do three things differently, we would move the photo booth and cigar roller to the sun room located off the mansion entrance, have the DJ announce where everything was when each (photo booth, cigar table, cordial bar) opened, and use photographers suggested to us by this venue instead of an outside company.
At the end of the night, Michelle and the team did a great job packing up all the centerpieces and other decorations I made so we were able to come back and pick everything up the next morning. The first conversation we had on our four-hour drive home the day after started with “So, what’s the next event we can have back at the mansion? Anniversary party? Baby shower? Sibling’s wedding?”. We loved everything about CV Rich Mansion and appreciate the people there who made our day so special and would love to go back again for another celebration!! Thank you! -

My husband and I got married at CV Rich Mansion this September and it was the most incredible day of our lives. The venue is absolutely stunning--from the garden to the house, the bridal suites, and the ballroom. The staff are professional, kind, and made us feel like we didn't have to lift a finger on our special day. Big shout out to Christine, Michelle, and the rest of the amazing staff who took care of us and all of our guests. I was definitely a meticulous bride, and they helped with all of my wishes leading up to the wedding.
The BEST part was the food, which is catered by Caperberry Events and prepared by the chefs and staff over at Sam's of Gedney Way. They absolutely knocked it out of the park.
We had 160 guests and the ballroom is massive, so just ask the staff to arrange the tables in a way that doesn't leave for too large of a dance floor. At times, the floor felt bare but that could have also been because a lot of friends were busy at the bar, which is in a massive side room just outside the ballroom.
Overall, we wouldn't have changed a thing. Thank you, CV Rich Mansion! -

Beautifully blooming May wedding
The CV Rich Mansion was the PERFECT venue for our wedding in May. The beautiful garden and patio area was worth it on its own, but the ballroom tied the whole event together. In late May the garden was blooming with white and pink flowers, and the landscape was great to have our guests walk around and enjoy the scenery during the cocktail hour. The house part of the mansion also offered great space for the different food stations the Gold package came with. Christine was our event coordinator and she was very helpful in planning all the details for the event. Kathy and Katie ran our event and they did a great job at making sure it went smooth. The food was amazing! It was catered from Caperberry Events and I was surprised by the quality since we did not get a chance to do a food tasting before the event. This was only the second venue we toured and I immediately fell in love and am so happy with our decision to have our wedding reception here. We could not have asked for a more perfect venue for our perfect day. -

My husband & I got married at CV Rich on 9/7/19 and it was a perfect day! Jessica was incredibly helpful answering all of my questions throughout the whole planning process. Her and the rest of the team made the whole day go by so smoothly. Our ceremony in the garden was beautiful and our photographers got some great shots of us on the grounds and inside the house. I loved that our guests were able to explore different rooms during the cocktail hour and everyone raved about the food. The ballroom for the reception was set up beautifully and was exactly how I had pictured it. We had 140 guests and there was more than enough room for dancing and our photo booth. I really couldn't have asked for a better experience - everything from the rehearsal the day before to us heading home at the end of the night was handled completely seamlessly. After a year+ of planning it was so nice to feel confident handing off everything to such an awesome staff. Couldn't recommend more! -

Spectacular venue; we married on 6/29/19 and it was absolutely perfect. The mansion and garden are beautiful; the staff was fantastic (thank you Jessica and Gina and everyone else!). The food was delicious. We got married in the garden--full of flowers-- outside under a large oak tree. It was a "fairy tale" wedding. -

We loved the CV Rich Mansion! The venue felt intimate and grand at the same time. It's so beautiful you don't need to add much to it. We had the pleasure of working with Jessica, she was great! Jessica is very professional and efficient. She was so much help in organizing whatever we wanted for our wedding day, and was always so kind, and fun to work with. Several of our guests raved to us after our wedding about the service, and the quality of the food. Every single server, bartender, etc was amazing! They were all so sweet, all had smiles on their faces, and were accommodating and professional. Each one I personally talked to congratulated me with such enthusiasm it felt like they were an extension of the guest list. I don't remember everyone's names (they all deserve so much praise) except for Michelle, who I felt went above her duties in carrying my train and veil so it didn't get dirty, and making sure I was fed and hydrated. I really can't say enough good things about CV Rich Mansion and Caperberry Events. -

Linda Sent on 08/18/2016We had our daughter's wedding at the CV Rich Mansion in White Plains and could not have been happier! It was the perfect venue for our happy couple. The mansion and gardens are exquisite, and the staff was extremely attentive. This is not your typical wedding factory. Joanna Malone, who handled all of the arrangements, was highly knowledgeable and professional, all with a personal touch. She guided us through every step along the way, making made sure the reception went off smoothly and according to plan. And our guests are still raving about the food! There was such a variety of high-quality delicious food choices during both the cocktail hour and reception. It's truly the perfect choice for anyone who wants individual, meticulous, professional attention and have their dream wedding at a very personal, elegant place. -

Charming and Unique Venue
We chose to go with CV Rich Mansion because we wanted something different than your standard country club wedding in Westchester, NY. CV Rich staff delivered on all our vision, and we could not be more grateful. They know what is needed to create a successful event. We also had very specific feedback about food and beverage and they truly delivered. -

I waited three months to post this review because it’s taking me that long to put into words how truly disappointing this venue was to us. From start to finish Kristen the event manager was nothing but nasty to us. She was unprofessional and clearly showed that this was just a part-time job for her. This wedding venue caused us nothing but stress, anxiety, and emotional despair the weeks leading up to the wedding and now after.
