Best florist ever!!

If I could give 100 stars, I would. My wedding flowers were drop dead gorgeous- even better than I envisioned them being!! I received so many compliments on them saying the colors were absolutely beautiful. Not only was I stunned by all of the florals, John was such a joy to communicate with. He kept up with my many changes (and indecisiveness!) without skipping a beat or ever seeming irritated. He has such a warm, friendly, and lighthearted demeanor. Thank you guys so so much, from the bottom of our hearts!!

Excellent!

The Cutting Garden always delivers the freshest flowers for any occasion and they did not disappoint with my wedding flowers! John and his staff were transparent and easy to work with. He was flexible when my needs changed and he delivered stunning flowers on my wedding day. He/his team were at the venue on time and when I took a moment during the day to walk around the venue, I watched as he and his wife were hanging one of the arrangements -- it was clear the care and effort that he puts into his work to make sure that every detail is perfect.
The cost of my flowers was absolutely reasonable and I would highly recommend the Cutting Garden to any couple.

As a bonus, when I came back from my honeymoon 2 weeks after the wedding, some of my flowers were still alive!

The cutting garden did our flowers and centerpieces for our wedding- they are super easy to work with, very creative, budget friendly and very responsive. I will be using them any time I need to order flowers!

The Cutting Garden was fantastic to work with! I worked with John, who was very easy to get along with from the start. He responded promptly to emails and phone calls. When I went into the shop to decide on everything, he very quickly adjusted his suggestions based on what I was liking (or not liking). He also personally delivered the flowers, which turned out beautifully, on the big day. I'd highly recommend this vendor for their excellent all-around quality!

I loved working with the Cutting Garden for my wedding! This was one of the few florists I found who didn't feel pretentious or overpriced. John listened to exactly what I wanted, and completely delivered at an incredibly reasonably price. He was thoughtful and responded to me very quickly. I absolutely loved my bouquets and Eucalyptus runner. I highly recommend Cutting Garden if you're looking for quality at a great price!

I was absolutely thrilled with The Cutting Garden! John (the owner) completely understood my vision for my wedding. He worked with my ideas (patiently, I might add!) and also used his own creative expertise to create the perfect bouquets, altar arrangements, centerpieces, etc. I got lots of compliments from my guests- the flowers were modern and elegant, as well as fresh and long-lasting. John and his staff take great care in the creation and delivery of their flowers, and price-wise are quite reasonable. I recommend them whole-heartedly!

We booked the cutting garden about a month before our wedding. They were super accomodating and flexible. They gave us great ideas when we were unsure of what type of flower we wanted. They were willing to work with a certain ribbon i had already picked out and artificial flower. They delivered to our venue on the day of on time. I would recommend this florist to other brides.

The Cutting Garden is awesome! I won't go anywhere else for floral arrangements. The flowers are so fresh and beautiful, always. John was most helpful in choosing flowers for the wedding arch, working to make flower arrangements to fit into carved out pumpkins, bouquets, etc for our vow-renewal. The staff is awesome, talented, helpful and so knowledgeable about floral arrangements and types of flowers. I think one of the most memorable experiences for me was how John came to the Gettysburg Hotel to build "on site" the decorations for the wedding arch. When I came down to the room to view his work, I had tears in my eyes. John was very punctual and hard working, as is his staff. I would highly recommend using the Cutting Garden for all your floral needs.

The staff at The Cutting Garden is exceptional. They worked with us to make sure we had exactly the flowers we wanted for our wedding, while sticking to our budget. The flowers were delivered on time and were fresh and beautiful! My bouquet still looked awesome days later!

This florist provided all the flowers for my daughters wedding. They were great to work with. Very knowledgeable and professional. The flowers were absolutely beautiful.

The Cutting Garden did our flowers for our August 16th wedding. The flowers were beautiful!!! I had a collection of milk glass vases that I was using as centerpieces and they were able to give us a quote from a picture that I had of them. They were able to figure our what flowers were able to work with the different size and shaped vases. Their prices were really good also! The bouquets and boutineers were also beautiful and everyone loved them. After our first meeting I was sold that the flowers would be beautiful. The hydrangeas were a gorgeous blue. They were so helpful and I received so many compliments! I would definitely recommend the Cutting Garden to anyone who is looking for a florist.

I can't believe the Cutting Garden isn't on wedding wire! When I started planning my wedding in December 2012, I decided that flowers were not a priority for our budget. I tossed around the idea of making the bouquets myself, and probably didn't start talking to florists until almost 4 months before the wedding. I called a few places, and visited another shop in Westminster before going to the Cutting Garden. The other place had a very friendly staff, but I didn't feel like they helped me pinpoint a good plan for my budget and ultimately I didn't leave there excited about the flowers at all, or really even a vision for what they would look like.

So I emailed John at the Cutting Garden and told him how flowers weren't a priority for me, and I knew very little about flowers and needed help figuring out what to do. He got back to me quickly, with pictures and ideas and we arranged a meeting at the shop. He was so down to earth and extremely helpful. He took different flowers from the shop and actually put them together for a 'rough draft' type thing so I could get a visual of what they would look like. I can't stress how perfect a vendor this was for me, because I am a very visual person. He also showed me pictures of some things they didn't have in stock, and was very honest and informative about certain flowers and how they could vary in color.

The Cutting Garden has an amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. They didn't give me a hard time about my budget or try to talk me into things. Instead they offered lots of options and would say what an option would add to the cost, or how I could save money, or how I could get the best bang for my buck. All of this isn't to say the flowers looked cheap by any means. They were beautiful.
I actually left our initial meeting caring a lot about what the flowers would look like, and being really excited about them. On the day of, they were gorgeous and I was thrilled with how they turned out!

When you get your flowers at the Cutting Garden in Westminster, you are literally working with the people who have grown the flowers on their own farm. Our flowers were amazing, and the price was equally amazing - almost half of what I had been quoted from another florist.

The Cutting Garden provided the flowers for my October wedding. During my initial consultation with John at the Cutting Garden, I found him to be extremely helpful and a very good listener. John listened to all of the ideas that I had as far as flower types, colors, likes and dislikes. He helped me to transform my random ideas and wants into reality. John pulled flowers and created a sample of the bouquet that I was ordering so that I could see what I would be getting. He used his years of experience to make suggestions that made my flowers truly spectacular. John allowed us to set-up a payment plan so that I could have my flowers paid off by the wedding. He also allowed for a week of meeting and was very understanding with changes that needed to be made to our order. John set-up the center piece at my wedding reception for us – even after we had to cancel the flowers that were supposed to be in them (due to venue concerns). The flowers that we had the day of my wedding were absolutely breathtaking. The colors of the flowers were stunning and I was very impressed with the freshness of the flowers - My bouquet lasted 2 weeks! I will be using the Cutting Garden for all of my upcoming floral needs!

Wonderful flowers. I went in not really knowing what I wanted, and they were able to piece together a spur of the moment bouquet from my colors and likes/dislikes that was great. And the wedding day everything looked great, there were no problems with any of the arrangements that they did.

John and his staff are absolutely amazing! I did my own flower arrangements but they made my bouquets and bouts. My loose flowers were beautiful and fresh. They still look amazing 9 days later! John was so helpful and knowledgable and the flowers exceeded my expectations. My bouquets were beautiful and everyone complimented on all the flowers and wanted to know where they came from.

I don't even know where to begin here... John and the Cutting Garden staff went *so far* beyond what you would expect from your wedding vendor, it still blows my mind. High marks to them for responsiveness and flexibility: when I unexpectedly had to change the number of centerpieces the week of the wedding they rolled gracefully with the punches. When I begged them to find blooms they don't usually work with (scabiosa) in July, they called around to various suppliers until they found some. When I asked if they could incorporate my grandmother's rosary into my bouquet, but also make sure it wouldn't get wet/damaged, they did. Awesome!

Value: WHOA. This is the only area of the wedding where, after research, I had budgeted way more than I needed... because their prices are so, so much more reasonable than anything else you will find in the area. We had them add on centerpieces for our rehearsal dinner (which I had thought of just DIYing) and our open house post-wedding just because it was all so incredibly inexpensive. And they were completely beautiful! I was especially happy to be able to use a lot of the flowers they grow on their own farm!

Everything arrived, perfect and timely, looking lovelier than I imagined! And, even on a hot but also rainy summer day, everything continued to look beautiful all day! I am so glad I went with the Cutting Garden and I would recommend them highly to anyone.

The flowers were ready when we requested and were beautiful! They brought just the pop of color that we need to our reception. They also lasted much longer than expected after the event and the price was very reasonable.

The service was great and the flowers were amazing!! The flowers were extremely affordable....and the quality was awesome! The flowers from bouquets to centerpieces were perfect! Guests loved all of the flowers!

The staff at Cutting Garden were so accomodating to our needs. They were willing to meet with us twice to go over all of the flowers we needed and were more than willing to deliver the flowers to our ceremony and reception sites when we requested. They made recommendations for nice combinations of flowers and incorporated locally grown, current flowers and herbs in our bouquets to make them extra special. Two weeks later, some of the flowers are still looking gorgeous!

The Cutting Garden did an AMAZING job with the flowers for our wedding! Many of the guests commented on the vibrant colors and displays. They delivered to each location (church, reception venue, & bride's house) on time and set everything up. Not only were the flowers above and beyond my expectations but they were very reasonably priced! I HIGHLY recommend this vendor!!!

I didn't think that I would be excited about my flowers at all. I didn't even have any idea what I wanted them to look like. I went in there and started to talk to them about what I liked and what I didn't and she started to just pull things together and I was SO excited about them. They turned out beautiful! Jenelle did an amazing job on the flowers for our wedding. i didnt know or have any idea what i really wanted for flowers she brought together such bright brilliant colors to go with my blue dresses and they looked so great! If you are in the delivery area of Cutting Garden in Westminster, MD you would be CRAZY if you did not take advantage of what this florist has to offer you!!! When I was first planning my wedding I wasn't even sure if I would put flowers on the tables, but my mother pushed for it- and I'm thrilled she did- my wedding would not have been the same without the flower presentations all around... the bouquets took my breathe away and the table flowers made our reception room POP with style. Not only was the product great, but the services were second to none- anytime I stopped in to change or add something, they were ready and friendly to take the time to discuss options with me. It was also really nice they were easy and timely with contact by email, since that's the best way for me to reach people during the day. Just a wonderful experience!

I have only INCREDIBLE things to say for the Cutting Garden in Westminster! They were friendly, helpful, creative, flexible and willing to do whatever we asked! We brought in some pictures and ideas and John and his staff made it happen. If I ever had a question, John would respond within a day, if not a few hours, to calm my fears. The flowers we got lasted OVER two weeks- what a wonderful treat to come home from the honeymoon and see our flowers still looking beautiful!

We had an amazing experience with Cutting Gardens and its staff. John was very helpful and responsive to all our needs. He was able to recognize the panic of the bride and give his best advice and share his knowledge with us. The flowers looked beautiful. We order altar flowers, bride and bridesmaid bouquets, boutonni�res and corsages and everything looked even better than we imagined. They were willing to work with us on every detail and we felt like we could contact them at any point and they were always available. We were happy with Cutting Garden and their prices and we feel it was every worth every dollar.

By the time it came to choosing a florist, we were tired of trekking to various vendors and doing comparisons. We chose The Cutting Garden after a single visit because we felt so good about it. Turns out that was a wonderful choice! John listened carefully to what we had in mind and offered suggestions about how to get it and still stay within our budget. And did he ever deliver! Our flowers were so beautiful and exceeded our expectations. We even had a minor issue (due to miscommunication on our part) the day of the wedding and John was able to quickly and professionally resolve it and make everything perfect. We received a ton of compliments on the bright vibrant colors and our (his) flower choices.

john helped me order flowers in bulk for me to arrange myself. he was very knowledgable, helped figure how what to get and how much to get... also very flexible when i change my order ... very responsive to emails. excellent experience, i would highly recommend. quality of flowers were very nice too.

I would recommend this vendor to every bride. I really have no knowledge as far as floral arrangements go and they were prefection! They got exactly what I was talking about. I told the color and looked at some pictures and picked a little from here and a little from there and they hit the nail on the head bringing my idea to life! The owner has an extensive wild flower garden where alot of the flowers can come from which brings the cost down dramatically! They were wonderful, attentive and professional!

Amazing, beautiful flowers! That's all I can say! Even today, looking back at my pictures, people ALWAYS comment on how wonderful the flowers look! I can't say enough...I'd pick them again and again and again! I've totally converted and now order ALL of my flowers from there! And the price is affordable. Since they are owner-operated, you avoid a lot of the overhead crap that gradually creaps your prices up. I love the Cutting Garden and just can't say enough good about them. Set-up was a breeze. Flowers were delivered, by the owner himself, with plenty of time to spare to get everyone ready and pictures taken.

John and his staff at The Cutting Garden were so nice to work with through the entire planning stages. They didn't mind at all when I changed my mind and were very good about sending me updated invoices. The flowers looked beautiful on the day of the wedding, especially the bouquets. John also performed so well under pressure as he had to move the ceremony flowers from what was supposed to be an outdoor ceremony setup to the indoor tent location in less than half an hour when a rainstorm began. The Cutting Garden was an excellent value and very nice to work with for such an important day.

I worked with John at The Cutting Garden for our July wedding at Ceresville Mansion. He was very nice, extremely responsive by email over months leading up to the wedding, and everything was stunning. They were a good value compared to other places, as well. I would recommend going to your initial meeting with some specific ideas and pictures. John was very knowledgeable about what would be in season, available, and how much everything would probably cost. They delivered the day of and everything went as planned.

Our flowers were beautiful! I loved them! And surprisingly they didn't cost as much as I expected. The staff worked with me to help me pick what we wanted and did a GREAt job!

The flowers were beautiful and very fresh. The man who delivered the flowers helped us to arrange the fence post broom corn stalks and sunflowers day of, that really made my ceremony look gorgeous (that arrangement was a real winner! you can check out pictures of it on their website). Also I liked being able to support a family owned local business that does their own local growing!

AT the beginning I was very happy with this florist. They were quick to respond and very helpful with mading decisions for a low budget. However on the day of and the delivery I was very disappointed. I showed up 3 1/2 hours prior to the beginning of the ceremony, the delivery person was leaving. As I was looking inside the house I saw the box and inside was a bunch of flowers on stems listed as "Floating". I ran outside to try and catch him, my freind and day of corridnator stated he had put everything in the tent. I went up to look with her. My floating center pieces were not done. The driver stated he did not put them on the table as the tableclothes had not been put out yet as the caterer was not there yet. My friend had to put half of my centerpieces together. The price was good for the flowers maybe too good since we had to assemble half of the centerpieces. The florist also did not show my friend the boutineers for the guys were in a "Thank you" bag. She thought it was left over food. So now of the guys had their boutineers on for the pre-ceremony photos. Overall the florist was ok, I wish the same service I received in the shop was the same for the delivery.
