  Wonderful experience

  I’m so happy I chose Positively Charmed/ Leslie for our decor! All of the table decor, custom sign, and dessert table platters made our reception absolutely beautiful! I received many comments that our reception was very “classy”. Working with Leslie was an absolute pleasure- she is so kind, helpful, and quick to respond to emails. Leslie offered extra help when I was stressed to the max with the planning process. I am forever grateful for her and her staff for everything they’ve done and for the seamless delivery process. As a bride, I HIGHLY suggest using Positively Charmed for any wedding decor needs!

  Amazing Experience with Leslie at Positively Charmed!

  We had a WONDERFUL experience with Leslie as our officiant for our big day. We appreciated Leslie's flexibility and understanding as we had to move our day 2x due to COVID restrictions. We met via Zoom prior to the wedding to go over what we wanted for the ceremony - vows, stories, etc. Leslie is super easy to talk to and captured many of our favorite things and stories. Leslie also acted as a coordinator the day of our wedding - pulling us aside in moments between pictures to do a quick little rehearsal or working with our harpist on music cues. I honestly don't know what we would have done without Leslie pulling everything together. She did a fantastic job on our ceremony and I can't imagine anyone else officiating our big day.

  Great Experience working with Leslie

  Leslie helped with our wedding décor and it was wonderful. We live out of town and Leslie worked with our schedules. The first time we Skyped, we had only a little idea of what we are looking for and basically no knowledge about décor; Leslie was patient with us and helped create a design that we both love. When we had a chance to visit her office, she again took time to demonstrate the design to us. On the Wedding day, she came very early and set everything us. When we saw the arch it was more beautiful than we thought. The table setups are great as well.
  We highly recommend Leslie.

Leslie took the time to talk with us via Skype for two long meetings during the ceremony planning process which was helpful given we were planning from out of state. She also met with us in person a week before our wedding when we finally arrived to town to get to know us in person before our big day which was so appreciated. She was very organized and helpful throughout the entire planning process and provided us many suggestions and resources throughout our time working with her. She was a wonderful choice for us and we are still getting compliments on our ceremony which was a month ago!

  I have nothing but fabulous things to say about Leslie of Positively Charmed. We booked her for our ceremony, marriage counseling, and décor. From the first time we met with Leslie we knew she was the one we wanted to marry us. We were looking for a customized, non-traditional/non-religious ceremony and she highly delivered! She spent a few sessions doing marriage counseling and getting to know each of us individually and as a couple. She truly knows how to personalize her ceremonies, and if you don’t like something in her draft she will gladly make changes. By the time the wedding day came, Leslie felt like family, which was such a great feeling. Since her office is at Semple Mansion, we also loved to see the décor she had for rent and decided her décor was a perfect fit for our venue. We wanted a romantic, Gatsby look, so we rented beautiful gold chandelier candelabras and mercury glass votives. The reception décor was simply breathtaking and we received so many compliments on both the ceremony and décor. I would highly, highly recommend Leslie for décor rental or ceremonies! She is truly a fantastic person and made our wedding and ceremony an extremely special day!

  We really cannot say enough about Leslie and her part in our wedding day. Right from the start, Leslie took the time to get know both of us: what we were looking for with the wedding, the types of people we were, our views on our own relationship, etc. After our first meeting with Leslie, we knew we wanted her as the officiant for our wedding. Leslie was extremely flexible in terms of her approach to our particular worldviews, which helped us settle down a lot considering it was a non-religious ceremony. She provided us with a number of resources for inclusions in the ceremony, readings, and general tone of the ceremony. She was even open to us incorporating some of our own ideas for readings and tweaks to different parts of the ceremony. When it came time to the final version of the passages used in the ceremony, Leslie crafted a beautiful set of personalized lines that were unique to both of us. She didn’t just rehash stock passages, but really took the time to write things up based on all the little chats we had had during our meetings that gave her some insight into who we were. Leslie was also instrumental in designing the ceremony. After discussing how we wanted to incorporate our families, Leslie showed up to the rehearsal with some unexpected, but wonderful ideas (like hugs for the wedding party as they entered the venue). And lovely little details, like preparing a small journal-like book for the wedding day itself. Every piece adding to the moment and setting a wonderful tone for the day. And during the ceremony, Leslie was great at delivering all of the passages with patience and warmth. She was so very pleasant from start to finish, and we cannot thank her enough for helping to make our day something unique.

My husband and I do not have the same religious background and Leslie did pre-marital counseling with us to work on our issues regarding our religious differences. She has an extensive knowledge on different religions and their histories. When it came to our ceremony, we wanted to ensure that it respected both of our families religions. Leslie did an amazing job at making sure the ceremony blended important aspects of both religions.   Being a fellow wedding industry professional, I had worked with Leslie on many wedding days throughout the years. When it was my turn to be the Bride and my husband and I began talking about what we wanted our ceremony to be like, I knew Leslie would be perfect.

  The best advice I can give a new bride is to find an officiant you connect with. I am the lucky bride and recipient of the 2015 Fairy Godmother Project MN wedding, a project made up of dozens of vendors who donate their product and service to provide a dream wedding for one military couple a year. Leslie signed up to donate her service as our officiant. Upon meeting her, I felt connected. I can sense energy and hers was the sort that draws people and holds them close. Kind, open, genuine, brilliant, creative….these are Leslies virtues. Not to mention, humanitarianism, as she donated her service and most of all, her passion, time and energy to us. Building a ceremony with Leslie was never a chore. It was a fun journey. She wanted to know us so she could tell us OUR story from OUR hearts. She often referred to it as "translating" our feelings and "braiding" them together. Through our meetings I found myself learning more about Ben and how we viewed our union spiritually and emotionally…in regards to energy, family, life, etc…I will never forget when Leslie handed us our 1st draft. We read it together, tears flowing. She took the feelings in our hearts and put them into words. She encouraged our journey of writing our own vows. She counseled us both so that we could stay at an even keel. She led our rehearsal, guiding the wedding party, empowering us to show our emotions and be unique. This was OUR ceremony and she was instrumental in making it a true reflection of us. The ceremony was the best part of the entire wedding. Many tears, and so many people felt inspired by what we shared through Leslie. I have the desire and inspiration to rewrite my vows to the love of my life every year. Thank You Leslie for being the vehicle that drives me to be a better and more expressive wife and not being afraid to share my feelings with the world. Leslie has a special place in my heart and I look forward to having her at our 10 year renewal.

She took the time to get to know us and made the experience so fun and enjoyable. She took such care when putting together our ceremony and filled it with so personal touches. We received SO many compliments on our ceremony both on our wedding day and beyond. She has the greatest smile and laugh and you can't help but do the same when you are with her.   When we first contacted Leslie we thought we only wanted a signing ceremony, but she met with us and in an hour of conversation, she brought us to realize that to commemorate the event, we might want a more formal and personalized ceremony (without an increase in her fee). Within two days, she emailed us a fleshed out ceremony for our editing and approval. When out of town guests arrived unexpectedly, she was unflustered by our including more guests at the service than originally expected. Her office was nicely appointed for the service and all of the guests felt comfortable and welcome. The Semple Mansion, where Leslie's office is located, is a beautiful space with many opportunities for photos. Leslie's experience with wedding parties helped us get some great pictures around the building. We have recommended her to two other couples who are looking to marry in the near future. We are very grateful to Leslie for making a day that my husband and I expected to be special, into one which will be unforgettable.

  My husband and I couldn't have found a better officiant for our wedding day! We wanted a special, spiritual ceremony that was reflective of the two of us. We met with Leslie a few times over the course of wedding planning and she really got to know us (it helped that we also did some premarital counseling with her too!) and created a unique ceremony just for us. She was easily accessible for questions and correspondence. Our ceremony was absolutely beautiful and characteristic of the two of us. Thank you Leslie!

  Ryan and I fell in love with Leslie after one meeting. We were shopping around for an officiant and she was stop number 1. When we were on our way to stop number 2 we felt like we were cheating on Leslie, because we loved her that much. She got who we are right away. Never made us feel uncomfortable. Was very easy to talk to. We had a few meetings where we just talked for hours and didn't realize it. She came up with the most perfect custom wedding ceremony. I JUST LOVE HER!

My husband and I were shopping around for officiants for our October 4th wedding and Leslie's name came up in a search. I thought it would be really neat to have a female officiant. It would be something different and a bit untraditional, which was what we were looking for. I knew from the first 10 minutes of our phone conversation that Leslie was "the one!!" Her commitment to detail came out right away. From that point on, Leslie was our gal! She had our backs the whole way and was extremely helpful during the entire planning process.
  
  Leslie also decorated our ceremony/reception. I could not believe how reasonably priced she was. We got the absolute best decorating for a fraction of what others offer. She is very detailed when helping plan for decorations and has a breakdown of pricing. We were both extremely satisfied with Leslie's decor. I still get people who comment on how gorgeous our wedding looked!
