I searched for weeks trying to find the perfect stylist and makeup artist for my wedding, and I’m incredibly grateful I found Katie. She was not only professional and punctual but also so much fun to work with! Neither my bridesmaids nor I had a clear idea of what we wanted for our hair and makeup, but Katie knew exactly how to make us look and feel perfect. I absolutely loved the look she created for me on my special day, and her rates were some of the best I came across. I highly recommend her for any event! -

Incredible
Katelyn is absolutely amazing, and made my wedding hair and makeup dreams come true! She was so down to earth and so easy to work with, taking notes on all style preferences and tweaked any look to the brides perfection. She was a one-woman show for my wedding, arriving exactly on time as promised. She did hair and makeup for 10 of my ladies, mothers of bride and groom, and the bride herself. All of the women in my wedding looked stunning, and I felt like a goddess! My makeup was exactly the way I wanted it after the trial, and my hair was gorgeous and stayed all night. She got all of us done up to perfection in 2 hours with more than enough time leftover in our timeline. Highly recommend!! -

Katie helped me to feel so regal!
I would highly recommend Katie as your wedding hair and makeup stylist! She was so fun and bubbly and made the morning much more relaxed. It was so nice getting pampered and beautified! She and her assistant did my hair, as well as 4 bridesmaids and 2 mothers in about 3 hours. Everyone looked so beautiful! -

I got married on Halloween this year. I can not recommend Katie and her team enough. First of all they are AMAZING at what they do. Super professional. They exceeded our exceptions and brought to life all the ideas the bridesmaids threw at them. My eyebrows have never looked better. We booked you at the last minute but I can't imagine having anyone else. It felt like two additional girl friends getting ready with us and listening to music. Thank you, both of you, so much for being apart of my big day! -

Katie tailored specifically to what I wanted. Her and her MUA were able to get 8 of us ready in a such a small amount of time, and was even kind enough to include a last minute hair addition. My hair and makeup lasted all night, along with my entire bridal party’s (including my 4 year old’s long hair!) I’m absolutely amazed. She was super sweet and they were both very personable and professional. I would absolutely use her services again!! -

Katie and her assistant were STELLAR. They had to drive 2 hours to get to our wedding near Quantico, but they were SO amazing, fun, and worked their butts off to get 9 ladies hair and make-up done in under 6 hours. It was an absolute pleasure to work with her - the hair + make-up trial was super fun to get to know her during, and all of my bridesmaids had a blast with the two of them helping us all get ready. Would absolutely recommend - she made all of us feel like fairy princesses and woodland nymphs (which was totally the vibe I was going for at our wedding). Can't recommend enough - an absolute sweetheart and professional! -

I would highly recommend Katie and her team at Curl Up or Dye. My hair was absolutely perfect, simple, and stayed curled all night long in unexpected humidity during my May wedding. Even though I had a small wedding party Katie was flexible, listened to exactly what we wanted, and was very prompt with time. We even were all ready early which allowed us to have fun and enjoy a stress free day. Thank you Katie for exceeding all expectations! -

If I ever need professional makeup again, I know exactly where I'm going! She did TWO trials for me for pictures, and 6 hair and makeups day of, including my mom and grandmother. They were not only so very fast, but created such high-quality results that held up all day long. My hair looked incredible for my wedding day, and lasted for 12+ hours of dancing and revelry. They couldn't be more highly recommended, and couldn't be sweeter people. -

During the process, she was flexible with trials and always listened to my concerns and doubts (I’m an indecisive person!). She was never offended if I asked for a change.
On the day of, she traveled to me and my bridal party with no charge (within Richmond area). She did 3 full hair and make-ups and one make-up and was quick and efficient. My makeup lasted all day and my hair made it (mostly) through hours of crazy dancing.
Budget wise, Katie was extremely affordable! I would highly recommend her!!!

Katie and her assistants did a fantastic job on my bridal party makeup. They had nine women to do in 4 hours. They listened to all of us and our unique needs. They even re-did hair and makeup for some girls who were particular about it. I loved my hair and makeup! I was going for a more natural look and I felt like even with all the makeup on I still looked like me! I would highly recommend working with her for your wedding or other event. -
