Highly recommended!

I was a bridesmaid in a wedding a few weeks ago, and I still can’t stop thinking about how incredible Crystal and her team were.

From the engagement through the wedding day, Crystal built such a wonderful relationship with the bride. You could tell she genuinely cared and was just as excited for the big day as we were. She brought the best energy on the wedding day and made everyone feel so comfortable, relaxed, and beautiful.

Crystal did my makeup, and it came out absolutely amazing. As a newer mom who usually just throws makeup on with my hands these days, seeing myself all done up literally brought tears to my eyes. Then I teared up all over again when I saw the bride. She looked absolutely stunning.

Crystal is truly the queen of natural glam. She has an incredible talent for enhancing your features and making you feel like the best version of yourself. I would highly recommend Crystal and her team to anyone looking for hair and makeup artists who are not only talented but also make the entire experience feel special.

Simply the best

If you are wanting to look absolutely beautiful while still being your natural self Crystal and team is who you need to hire. I am someone who wanted to make sure on my wedding day that I was glammed up but also still looking like my natural self. Crystal did just that. She was responsive anytime I reached out with any questions I had and without meeting her till the trial I knew she was going to be the right fit. When it was time for the trial, her infectious personality immediately greeted me, and I felt an overwhelming sense of certainty that I had made the right decision. She took the time to thoroughly explain her style and process, all while also wanting to get to know you. When it was time for my makeup for the wedding, she ensured that I had a moment of quiet to take it all in. Crystal and the team made me and my girls feel incredibly beautiful, like I’ve never felt before in my entire life. I would absolutely recommend Crystal to be your glam squad for your day.

Crystal is truly the BEST

To say that working with Crystal was amazing doesn't even seem positive enough. Crystal was truly a delight to work with from start to finish. She was detailed, attentive, and kind throughout the entire process. She answere all of my questions, accomodated all of my needs, and my makeup was AMAZING. She was delightful and I have heard nothing but amazing things from my friends and family regarding the quality of our makeup, but also from my bridal party regarding how spectacular she was during the getting ready process on the wedding day. Her pricing is so reasonable and she was extremely profesional. I would recommend her any day!

Amazing beauty services!

Crystal and her team did my makeup and hair for my wedding day. I felt so beautiful yet still myself, which was very important to me. Crystal is an expert at making difficult skin glow (I have combination skin and I have an extremely pale complexion). Would leave more stars if I could!

I truly can not speak highly enough of Crystal and her team. I was not a laid back bride by any means; I had lots of questions and inquiries for Crystal from when I first reach out to here more than a year and a half before my wedding. However, Crystal
only ever responded promptly and with so much kindness and helpful information; I felt so confident in the package we worked out by the time I signed on with her.

The trial was absolutely wonderful; I was so worried about if I would be able to achieve an updo with my short hair, and I didn’t have a great sense of my makeup look as someone who doesn’t where much day to day anymore. From the moment I sat down, Crystal and Shelby made me feel so at ease and I was completely confident in their abilities to execute exactly the look I was hoping for.

Their wonderful energy and incredibly energy is what really made the morning of my wedding something special; Crystal, Shelby, and Mackenzie moved through our 7 person party in incredible time, and made everyone feel so relaxed. My bridesmaids, mother in law, and my mom all looked SO beautiful. Unsurprisingly, Crystal and Shelby perfectly incorporated the changes I wanted to make to my look perfectly! I could not have been happier with my hair and makeup, and they held up perfectly all night!

If you want a team that is going to have fun with you and deliver absolutely stunning hair and makeup looks for yourself or many more, you truly could not pick a better team!

Talented, kind & fun!

Crystal and her team were absolutely amazing for my wedding! They were incredibly skilled, a lot of fun, and stayed on schedule during the tight timeframe we had in the morning. Everyone in the wedding party looked stunning, and I loved that Crystal and her team brought out everyone’s natural beauty! The makeup was the perfect level of “glam” while still looking natural. Crystal is fantastic!

I used Crystal for makeup services for myself and my bridal party. She is one of the most genuine people on the planet and I have so much respect for her and her talent and professionalism. I'd worked with her as a bridesmaid in one of my friends weddings (I think we've almost all used her now!) and knew I wanted to work with her for my wedding immediately!
I'd never had my makeup professionally done before but she made it so relaxing and asked for my input every step of the way. My trial makeup lasted for the whole day without getting messed up and I was GLOWING I loved it.

She was always very quick to respond to emails and make adjustments to people and timeliness. Im an inherent people pleaser and always felt bad/stressed when changes had to be made but she put me at ease and always told me it was no problem and it always alleviated stress, which I appreciated.

Day of the wedding she arrived early with energy and vibes. Which is saying something, because my venue is 3 hours away from her house and we started at 8am! She set the tone for the morning. Everyone loved her and how their makeup turned out! I really appreciated that when it came to be my turn she asked my bridal party to move to anotger room to give me some quiet time and peace, it allowed me to relax and just enjoy the moment and take in that it was my wedding day. She remained a calm, fun and steady presence throughout the chaos of getting ready and I will forever appreciate that. I felt and looked like a princess for my whole day and I know I have crystal to thank for it! Definitely use Crystal and her team for your wedding or event, you wont regret it.

Perfectly Glammed!!

Crystal and her crew were amazing from start to finish. Everyone’s hair and makeup came out stunning. Every still looked like themselves but the most beautiful version. Several people came up to my bridesmaids and complimented us on how fantastic we all looked. Crystal is sweet, professional, passionate, educated in all areas within the business, and super responsive. The day of the wedding Crystal and I decide to throw out the trial makeup and I trusted her full-heartedly. It was the best decision since what I thought I wanted was not a good match for my dress and the whole “LOOK”. I truly felt beautiful and Crystal made that happen. Melissa did my hair to perfection. To say that Crystal and her team took care of me and my ladies on the morning of my wedding would be the understatement of the century. CRYSTAL, Shelby, and Melissa are beyond talented, funny, and kind. We all love Crystal an Shelby!

Crystal and Shelby were a dream to work with. They were recommended to us by our other vendors who said crystal and her team were amazing. They made myself, my maid of honor, my mother, mother in law, and grandmother in law feel comfortable and peaceful the morning of our wedding. We did not feel rushed, though they were extremely timely and ahead of schedule. They arrived right on time to the venue and were ready for us. It is always great to hear you’re running early! Communication prior to the event was great. We were able to relax and laugh with them easily. Everyone loved their hair and makeup despite having different styles and preferred looks. My bridal makeup and hair turned out even more beautiful than my trial! It lasted the whole night, tears and sweat included! I couldn’t have asked for a better glam team!! Amazing! Best team ever!

Crystal and McKenzie were amazing beginning to end. They did the most wonderful job and were so flexible when I wanted to change my hair from the trial. They made everyone in my wedding party feel beautiful and natural. My mom who’s not used to wearing make up felt fantastic and McKenzie and Crystal were so flexible with everyone they worked with. They were so professional, were familiar with the location and made everyone feel at ease, comfortable and special. The hair and makeup lasted the whole night through sweat and dancing on a 90+ day! I could not have asked for a better experience. You will not regret having Crystal and her team do your hair and make up, I would hire her again and again in a heart beat! Dream team!!!

Crystal and Shelby were incredible! I hired them a year out from the wedding and was always confident that I had made the right choice. Crystal was extremely detail-oriented and clear in her communication right off the bat.
During my hair and makeup trial a few months before the wedding, Crystal and Shelby listened to my preferences and created a look better than I had imagined. I don't wear makeup or do my hair on a regular basis, so I was worried before the trial that I would be shocked by an over-done look. That wasn't the case at all, I still looked like myself but just an elevated version of myself. The day of the trial, my fiancé and I went to our wedding venue (a summer camp) and spent the day walking around and measuring spaces, rearranging furniture, and even got caught in the rain. My hair and makeup stayed intact the entire time. Even 10 hours later once we returned home, my hair and makeup were intact. I was in awe. I felt even more confident then that I had made the right choice. In the days leading up to our wedding, the forecast was calling for storms on our wedding day and we were planning on having an outdoor ceremony, with no real rain plan. Despite that, the one thing I was certain about was that even if it did rain during our ceremony, my hair and makeup would remain the same. Luckily, it did not end up raining.
Crystal and Shelby also did hair/makeup for my sister, officiant, mom, MIL, aunt-in-law, and 97 year old grandmother-in-law. Despite a big range of ages and facial features/ethnicities, Crystal and Shelby thrived in making everyone look like an elevated version of themselves. They listened to everyone's visions, and everyone was so happy with the way their look turned out! Besides their talents, they are so easy to talk to and fun to be around! They helped me relax and enjoy the day!

Hire them now!

Do yourself a favor and hire Crystal and her team. They are absolutely amazing and their work is pure magic!! They are kind and so fun to be around. I kept having to change a few things leading up to the wedding and Crystal was so accommodating. They were easy to reach, always communicating and super helpful (I wanted to get extensions and had literally no clue where to start and they walked me through what to get). I told them my vision of wanting Hollywood glam and they nailed it! Not to mention, all of my bridesmaids, my mother and mother in law were obsessed with their hair/makeup. Absolutely a 10/10. Also the first picture is the first time seeing my hair and makeup, I WAS IN AWE OF HOW AMAZING IT WAS. If you want this feeling, hire them!

Crystal was absolutely amazing! Her personality and confidence put everyone at ease in the bridal suite. She is so talented and talks you through every step that she is doing. My whole wedding party had inspiration photos and Crystal walked each person through how she could modify the look to best suit their skin. She really took the time to get the looks exactly how each person wanted it. Everyone looked so beautiful! It was so easy to schedule a trial and she was available for any questions / last minute changes. Crystal exceeded my expectations!!!

Crystal was absolutely wonderful to work with. She is outgoing, friendly, professional, and extremely talented. She has such a positive energy; she made myself and my wedding party feel at ease. She did an amazing job with our makeup and really knows what will look good on different skin tones. She explains what she is doing every step of the way. She also provided touch-ups for the groom and his groomsmen! She answered all of our questions we had about my wedding day and was so knowledgeable about wedding details, in general. She was familiar with the venue which was so helpful.

Wedding Hair and Makeup - Simply the Best!

Crystal and her team are nothing short of wonderful. I got married at the Inn on Boltwood in August. On a personal level, Crystal is very pleasant to communicate with and accommodating. From a business perspective, she is organized and communicates well (responsive, provides necessary information/pricing, etc.). Her prices are incredibly reasonable, as well. She offers several “upgrades” for bridesmaids they can select which is nice, such as fake eyelashes. I had the benefit of Crystal being familiar with my venue, DJ, and photographers. She was able to recommend where to get ready, as well as assisting in establishing a realistic timeline. She helped coordinate a 3rd hair person when I had more hair/makeup requests than originally planned. I’ve been in some weddings where the “getting ready” process is absolute CHAOS… my wedding was the complete opposite. Crystal arranged the hair and makeup schedules ahead of time (with buffer time) and ensured everyone was ready on time. As far as the quality of hair and makeup - Crystal and her team were the best. Words don’t do it justice of how happy I was with my bridal hair and makeup. I’ve had my makeup done before, but have always walked away underwhelmed. This was not the case with Crystal, she knocked it out of the park! Similarly, my bridesmaids and the moms looked stunning. The hair stylist, Shelby, who did my hair was phenomenal. I have thin hair, and yet she created an up-do that I never dreamed my hair would cooperate with! Best of all, my hair and makeup lasted all night and through our after party (despite it being 80+ degrees that day). Plan early, and hire Crystal and her team for your bridal hair and makeup - you won’t regret the decision!

I am thrilled that I chose Crystal and her team as hair and makeup artists for my wedding day! From the beginning, Crystal was incredibly professional, and communicated with us often. She was kind and helpful with all questions, and was super friendly and easygoing in conversation. When we met for my hair and makeup trial, I knew I made the right decision. Shelby gave me a beautiful, neatly-tucked up-do, which she replicated for the wedding. Crystal did a beautiful job on my makeup (trial and wedding), giving me both a natural and glamorous look. Absolute Legend & SO Fun

Crystal is a miracle worker, I swear. First of all, she put up with my lack of responsiveness & rolled with the punches when I changed the entire day's timeline 1 week before our wedding. Second, she made me & my bridesmaids all look absolutely stunning--but also like ourselves, which is exactly what I was hoping for from my hair/makeup stylist. I gave her & Shelby some reference pics and they got exactly the vibe & style I was going for without missing a single beat. Additionally, Crystal knew our photographer (Four Wings Photography) & watching them work together as a team to get some crazy cool getting ready shots was a blast. Finally, one of the reasons I went with Crystal is because I wanted someone who could work with multiple skin tones, curly & wavy hair, and textured skin (I have acne), and she was the only artist I contacted who had thoughtful responses to my questions about the above. She's a professional, but she's also a blast, A+ 10/10, what a legend.

Pure professional!

As an anxious bride, I had a hard time with nerves getting ready the morning of my wedding. Crystal was punctual, cleared the room, and made me feel at ease! She was an exquisite choice for my makeup professional. My wedding party all looked natural and very happy with her for our sunny outdoor ceremony! Crystal made us laugh, she was so easy to work with and so approachable. She listened to the idea of what I wanted to match my theme-nailed it! she even spoke to my bridesmaids to go the extra mile to get to know me from their perspective to give me an even stronger look than I imagined! I had an old hollywood look, she worked alongside my hair stylist as well! She even kept in touch with the other vendors to make sure things were running smoothly i.e. Brian Marsh, my photographer. She is a wonderful woman just as much as she is great at her job! The Best Choice!

Best there is! Since we had a Covid backyard wedding the year before our larger party, I opted to do my trial for the small affair and absolutely LOVED the work Shelby did on my hair and makeup! Crystal was always so responsive over email and very flexible when it came to rescheduling due to Covid. On the wedding day, I asked about doing two looks and asked two stylists to stay all day for retouches and to do a second look. Crystal made it happen and was an amazing support all day. I was so happy that I could have a softer look with hair down for the ceremony, and a more dramatic look with hair up for the party! I can't recommend Crystal and her team enough! They are the best!

Crystal and Shelby made myself and my bridesmaids feel so beautiful. From the trial to day of, they've been so patient, accommodating, and pleasant to work with. Could not have had a better experience

I originally hired CV&CO to do hair for my wedding pre pandemic. I had an incredibly positive trial and was blown away by Shelby’s talent. About a month before our wedding, I had to switch to an alternative makeup artist. I quickly messaged them and they were excited to add on makeup services. A week later, we had to switch our venue and they were quick to again express they were on board and excited.

On our wedding day, they were professional, made us feel at ease and shared safety precautions they were taking. We all felt very comfortable with them and they made me as a bride feel relaxed and excited the morning of my wedding.

I joked to them that they were my fairy godmothers on my wedding day. Their willingness to adapt to changing circumstances was fantastic. We were all very happy with our hair and makeup and are so happy that we hired them.

I wish I could give them more stars

Where to begin ...

I learned about Crystal Vazquez and Co. a few years ago and began following them on Instagram. I fell in love with the looks Crystal and Shelby created. After my trial, I was 100 percent confident that they were the right company for my bridesmaids and me.

Of course, then COVID happened. Crystal and her team were flexible in moving to my new date and helped me when I had to adjust the number of bridesmaids who could make it to my wedding.

Now to the day of the wedding — I have never felt more beautiful in my entire life. Crystal listened to the (very minor) feedback I had from the trial and gave me a look that gave me more confidence than I've ever had. I am a generally reserved and shy person, but I felt beautiful on my wedding day. My hair was flawless and could've withstood hours of dancing if we were allowed it.

And even more than that, all of my bridesmaids felt beautiful too. I've been in many weddings, and I've never seen everyone so happy with their hair and makeup. Crystal, Shelby, McKenzie and Brie were all just absolutely incredible.

I'd also like to add that McKenzie, who did my little, three-year-old niece's makeup did such a wonderful job with a normally very antsy child. She made my niece feel like "a unicorn princess," and I'm so grateful that my niece will have that memory.

Great experience!

I had the pleasure of working with Crystal and Shelby for my wedding this year. They were very flexible with all the changes that I had to make due to covid and always quickly responded. Myself, my sister, mother and mother in law had our makeup and hair done and we all were beyond happy with how we looked. My hair and makeup stayed on all night without any issues! Absolute perfection!

Crystal and McKenzie are so incredible! The quality of work was second to none. I had a vague vision of what I wanted to look like, did a trial, and then the week of decided to change my mind. They both adapted seamlessly and brought my vision to life to make me look FLAWLESS. They really listened to what I wanted, and made suggestions to make sure it was perfect. On top of that, they were open and transparent about costs and I was comfortable knowing where every penny was going.

On top of all of this, Crystal is an absolute light in the world. She’s so kind, genuine, and warm that I was immediately at ease. Do yourself a favour and book this team! I’ll add official photos when we get them, I just couldn’t wait to write this review!

Book them!!

I absolutely loved working with Crystal and Shelby for my wedding hair and makeup! All of our looks were exactly what we wanted and looked beautiful. I was so sad to wash it all away at the end of the night because everything still looked perfect! Both women were so friendly and easy to talk to and Crystal even ran around and helped out with a couple of other little projects while Shelby finished up our hair. At the time I booked them I found their pricing pretty standard however they really went above and beyond what I expected so I think they are 100% worth what they charge and more. They were very quick to respond to me throughout the planning stages and always made me feel like a priority. I would absolutely recommend them!

They are the best!

I can't say enough about this team! Crystal and Shelby went above and beyond to give my bridesmaids and I the best experience on my wedding day. From my makeup and hair trial, to the wedding day glam, everything went perfectly. They were extremely professional, fun, and made everyone look beautiful! They even adjusted their schedule to accommodate an extra hair and makeup at the last minute. I love the fact that they travel, and they arrived on time and set up quickly. As the MOH for my SIL, I had reached out to Crystal and her team after a different vendor fell through. Crystal and her team were thankfully available after they were highly recommended to us. From my first contact with them, I could understand why they were highly recommended, the team is very responsive, very organized, easy payment options, and communication on point. The price of service is very comparable, service delivery and quality of service, top notch!

They Made Everything Super Easy

I am so glad we hired Crystal Vazquez & Company for hair & makeup on our wedding day. They always responded to my emails very quickly (Shelby is AMAZING) and were so much fun to work with on the wedding day. Shelby and Amanda breezed through everyone's hair and even made time to offer touch-ups for everyone. Shelby did a STUNNING job on my makeup. It was the perfect balance of natural and glamorous, and looks beautiful in our wedding photos. I highly recommend using Crystal Vazquez for your wedding day. My biggest recommendation for brides- bring your veil and headpiece to the trial!! I did not have mine yet for the trial and unfortunately I had to adjust my hair style last-minute at the venue to accommodate the veil. Luckily, Shelby had used hairspray with a great hold and gave me extra bobby pins so this was actually a really easy fix! I cannot recommend them enough- super easy to book and a completely stress-free wedding day experience.

Literally perfect

I was so nervous about hair and make up and this beauty team put all my fears at ease so quickly. They are the most professional group of women, who also know how to keep you relaxed and happy at a very exciting time!

I have thin hair and was super self-conscious about how it would look, but Mckenzie knew EXACTLY how to make it work. I was shocked and so so so happy. I was also nervous about looking like myself but still looking glamourous. Crystal has some kind of magic powers, everyone I know and love said I still looked like me, just a bridal version of me! NAILED IT

My mom, mother in law, and my bridesmaids also looked STUNNING. I just loved seeing all the different styles and beauty really shine through. Everyone had a look that was catered to them, it was perfect. In terms of timing, they finished ahead of schedule and it was so easy, they knew exactly what they were doing.

I also had Crystal and Shelby do my hair and makeup for the rehearsal and it was so much fun!! I honestly will be finding any excuse to hire them again. Cannot recommend them enough!!!

A great choice for natural makeup

Crystal and Shelby did an amazing job turning me into a bride on the morning of my wedding. I hadn't planned to work with a professional for hair and makeup and ended up making a pretty last-minute request. Crystal went far out of her way and even broke a few of her own rules so that I could have hair and make up done in the time I had available. I'd asked to look natural, and Crystal did an amazing job of that, with makeup that worked equally well for a wedding and a subsequent walk in the woods. And I have no idea how Shelby managed to do what she did with my relatively short (above the shoulders) hair, but it was spectacular and survived the day beautifully. Fantastic makeup artist!

Crystal did my wedding makeup and I could not have been happier! She was a pleasure to work with and very flexible and helpful in everything from the trial to the big day. The makeup and lashes Crystal applied the morning of my wedding lasted through windy outdoor photos, hot June temps, and a lot of dancing until the end of the evening after party - I was so impressed! Nothing short of phenomenal

With less than 2 weeks before my wedding Crystal agreed to take me on as a client after something came up with my other make up artist . She truly is an amazing woman. She’s very calming and made me feel at ease the entire time, the conversation made it feel like we had known each other forever . Her attention to detail and she really brought to life what I had hoped for. My sister was my maid of honor and sadly chemo has claimed her eyebrows and eye lashes , Crystal worked her magic and not only made me feel beautiful but also helped my sister feel beautiful. She is so knowledgeable and explained what she was doing every step of the way. Words can’t even describe how great she is. Totally worth the cost for the experience and peace of mind. I’m beyond happy with her and her work. Oh and last but not least there were tears..... many many tears and my makeup and lashes stayed put through it all .

Best Vendor Decision I Made

Crystal and her team were honestly the best part of my wedding except for actually getting married. Although I initially was a bit intimidated by the price, it was 100% worth it. Her team was incredibly responsive and took the time to listen to my at my trial and take my feedback into account on the day of the wedding. Crystal and Shelby (and one other team member whose name I cannot recall) - were amazing. They are so down to earth and relaxing and easy to talk to it just helps make the day go that much smoother. My trial was awesome, they listened to me and did exactly what I asked for and even better than I had hoped. Shelby is a magician with hair and made all my bridesmaids and the moms look stunning. All you need is a picture and they can match it exactly. Crystal did a fantastic job with my makeup - I don't wear much makeup at all and was worried about looking scary - but Crystal gave me some natural glam that was perfect and my husband was thrilled (which is sayin a lot because he typically likes me better without makeup). She was able to up the glam for the bridesmaids that wanted it and keep it cool for those who wanted to go for a natural look. SO they can do something for everyone! Would recommend to anyone!

Choosing Crystal and her team to be the hair and make-up artists for my wedding day was one of the best decisions I made throughout the entire process. I knew the day I met them at my trial that they were a going to be a great fit; I didn't even bring any pictures to show them for the trial, I just gave them a very general guideline of what I was looking for in terms of my hair and make-up style and they TOTALLY nailed it. They are such artists and they are so good at taking your vision and making it a reality. Their top priority is making sure you absolutely love the way you look, and they do such a good job making you feel special and comfortable. Not only did they make us all look our best, they were so much fun to have in the room the day we were getting ready, it just felt like I had 3 more bridesmaids who were there to support me and share in all the fun and laughs. Wish I could hire them every weekend because I am still obsessing over how amazing my make-up looked!!

Crystal did an amazing job on my and my bridesmaid's makeup for my wedding. She was very professional and I could tell she was so knowledgeable about makeup and what looks good with everyone's skin tone. She had everything planned out perfectly, but was able to make last minute changes and accommodations as needed. My sister is allergic to carmine and she was easily able to accommodate her needs. Working with Crystal and Co. was great. They listened to exactly what I wanted, and got it just right. I wanted some blue tones to my eyes, and had blue in my hair, and they perfectly incorporated the color without making it look... overdone.

They were able to accommodate my hair piece easily (a peacock barrette), and I did not need extensions, they made my hair look full! They also worked wonders with my two friends who got their hair and makeup done, and did so without a trial for them.

I only needed one trial to get it right. They were more than responsive to every question I had, especially since I really don't "do" hair and makeup stuff normally, so had NO idea what to ask for, or what was possible. I would highly recommend them!

I was referred by my Photographer Seth Kaye for my make up. He told me that Crystal’s make up last forever and he wasn’t lying!
Crystal goes up and beyond for her people. I knew that I was in good hands with her since the first day I met her. I took her that I want my eyes to pop on my wedding day and that dream did come true. At my make trail with did a little different colors than on my wedding day. I wasn’t worried that Crystal changed it up on me for my wedding. I knew that she knew what she was doing. She even got me special eye lashes for my wedding day. Now she didn’t have to do that but she did! She wasn’t rushed and always gave herself a buffer. I loved the fact that she sent me a timeline and I got to pick the order of my girls to go get their make up done. Instead of like who’s going next. She was very organized and always responded to my emails in a timely manner or her office assistant would as well.
I forgot what time my photographer and videographer were coming. What Crystal did is she text them both to ask what time they are coming and then told me. Now that’s going above and beyond for your people.
Crystal thank you so much for everything! Your work was beautiful and my make up was stunning. Your work last along time as well. I was up until 4am and it still looked so fresh. Also, I would like to thank you for the bride and Crystal time. That’s when it’s the brides turn who goes last and the door is shut and no one can bother us. It’s quiet time that was much needed before my wedding. When something isn’t right Crystal is right there trying to solve the problem and make sure that there is always back up.

Shelby was great to work with when figuring out all the details, answering my questions and working with my the last minute adds. They worked off the schedule that I had created with Shelby and finished everyone up on time. Everyone's hair was pinned perfectly and the make-up was gorgeous while still looking natural. That morning it felt like we were all friends getting to have fun and hang out for the day. Since I was doing a first look I had Crystal and Shelby stay for touch ups. It was nice knowing that they would be there right up until the ceremony and everyone enjoyed getting to spend more time with them.
I highly recommend Crystal and her team for anyone getting married who wants to feel beautiful, relaxed and have a little fun the morning of the big day. Hands down they are the best in the area and I can't thank them enough for making me feel like a princess. I wish I could hang out with them every Saturday morning!

I got married on 6/1/2018 and Crystal Vazquez & Company were my hair/makeup company. Crystal and Shelby were AMAZING!!!! They were extremely responsive whenever I had questions. We had to make some changes to my initial contract because one of my bridesmaids is going through chemo and no longer needed hair done, and they were really great about letting me switch some things around to add makeup for my mother in place of that bridesmaid's hair. They are so easy to get along with, interesting, and good at calming a nervous bride! On the day of my wedding, I was notified that we would be getting hair/makeup done in a separate room than the bridal suite. I had a panic moment because it was not my original plan, and Crystal came to my room to explain why we were going to use the other room (which was 1000% the right decision - wayyyy better lighting!!!). She was so great and I knew I was in good hands. Shelby is a master at working with hair and a million bobby pins without stabbing anyone in the head. Crystal uses extremely high quality makeup - it looked as good at the end of the extremely hot, humid wedding day where I was sweating like crazy, as it did right when she finished applying it. She knows how to make you up so that it will look right on your skin tone, in the natural lighting, and in photographs. She's a master at applying the fake lashes which EVERYONE in the wedding party should invest in! It's so worth it! I loooooved working with Crystal and Shelby, my bridesmaids and mother were so pleased with them too. They have earned all of their 5 star reviews and are so worth it! Definitely book with them on your wedding day!!!

I had such a wonderful experience with Crystal Vazquez & Company for my wedding hair and makeup! Shelby and McKenzie were wonderful, talented, professional, kind, and friendly, and I feel like they made the morning of my wedding actually relaxing! And even though Crystal wasn't working my wedding, she was so helpful in giving me some tips and ideas for my makeup. My bridesmaids' hair looked great (and stayed put all day!) and I was SO happy with my hair and makeup! I felt like such a glam version of myself and received tons of compliments throughout the day. If I could Crystal and Ms. Shelby 6 stars I absolutely would. Complete gems these two as I'm sure all the other ladies working with Crystal are. Make up pricing started early for my October 8th wedding and I nearly barfed at the outrageous prices and long contracts with ridiculous details. We were staying at the D. Suites, ceremony at the Log Cabin, so a place in Easthampton/Holyoke made the most sense. From the first email inquiry to the day of make up and hair-Both Shelby and Crystal were phenomenal with ideas, communication ALL OF IT. Crystal handled some of my billing and initial questions then Shelby took it from there. My mother and I had our make up done at the hotel and we were both over the moon with the results (we knew we would be :) ) I felt so beautiful and pretty. Honestly, brides. don't even look any further-you're just wasting your time. The Shelby, Crystal combo is all you need for your perfect look!

Crystal and her staff are so friendly and easy to work with it made my wedding day very relaxing. From the start, they worked with me to achieve the perfect hair and makeup for the look I wanted. What a great team! I had MacKenzie for hair and Crystal for makeup appointments and Christine (I think) as an extra stylist for my bridal party, and we had such a great time! All our hair and makeup were spectacular!
First of all, which is I think really important, the ladies plan out the day for you. From start to finish. You gotta make that plan from days ahead, and share with your party so there will not be any confusions. These ladies do it, which I appreciate so much! We were right on time, even there was some room for last minute adjustments. All my bridesmaids were very happy with both their hair and makeup and everybody was looking perfect!
Can I mention enough times how MacKenzie is a GREAT stylist (in capital letters, great!) She listens to you, gives good recommendations, knows what will look good on you, and takes your suggestions, works towards them. My wedding day was very muggy and long, and I didn't even feel one bit of stray hair going around, never had any trouble or worries about my hair. One thing though... Please go for a mock up hair and makeup appointment. It is really important for the stylists to get to know you and your hair and your face. You can always do adjustments with your stylist and not to have the thrill on how you will look on the wedding day. There will absolutely be no surprises.
Crystal... Well, not sure if there is much to say. You can totally see how she built an empire for herself. She is really nice, comforting, very knowledgeable, and adapting. From the start, I had an image on my mind on how I wanted to look. However, when she did on me, it didn't look good. She was so quick to recover from that, and make me look my best on that day. She was nice, accommodating, and so much fun to work with.
I can't recommend this team enough. If you don't want to stress on your wedding day, definitely hire her team, they do amazing things!

I used Crystal Vazquez for hair the day of my wedding and I couldn't be happier. I was originally between Crystal's company and another vendor. Their timeliness of response and the way they genuinely cared about me as a client were my initial reasoning for going with them and boy am I glad I listened to my gut! I was fortunate to work with Shelby on my trail and then for day of. Shelby is incredible! I brought a few Pinterest pictures to show Shelby my vision at my trail and she blew my expectations out of the water. Side note, I met Crystal at my trial and learned about the vendor's history and I was so impressed with how personable and professional they were. Such great people! A few days prior to the wedding they checked in with a friendly email to set up day of timeline. Day of Shelby and Brie were punctual, kept a clean work space and completed 6 fantastic updos (they traveled to us). They fit in with all my bridesmaid helping to keep the vibe fun, while still staying professional. I was super impressed with their skill and ability to look at a few pictures and create exactly what each of my girls wanted. Crystal and her team were absolutely amazing! Leading up to the wedding Crystal and her team were super responsive, helpful and thoughtful. On the morning of my wedding, Crystal, Shelby, Jen, Kenz, and Bri, all arrived to do hair and makeup for my 9 bridesmaids, my mom, my mother-in-law, and myself. We had so much fun and everyone looked stunning. I had been nervous that there wouldn't be enough time for such a large group, but they were ahead of schedule and were even flexible with some of my indecisive bridesmaids who tested out two hairstyles. It ended up being an unseasonably hot September day, and everyone's make-up and hair remained flawless through the humidity and dancing. On top of the amazing job that the team did, Crystal even gave each of us the cutest touch-up kits, to carry in our purses for if we needed any reapplication. I cannot say enough about crystal abd her team. I had Shelby and mckenzie do my hair and all my girls. They were so professional, set up their space, and even gave me a timeline of when hair would start and stop. Crystal also did my makeup, which came out amazing. I dont usually wear a lot of makeup and I have naturally oily skin so I was nervous I would be shiny all night. She did my makeup beautifully and even got a touch up kit which came in handy for extra lipstick and an oil blotting later in the night. Well worth every dollar!!

Crystal and her team were phenomenal from start to finish! I very much appreciated the fast response, because as a busy bride that can make life so much easier. I am very particular about my face makeup after years of cystic acne. I was worried about my scarring showing through, as well as the makeup matching well, because I am extremely fair. I can't begin to tell you how happy I was with how my makeup looked. Crystal did a great job concealing my scars and in all the photos I look like I have flawless skin. She was extremely receptive to my comments after my trial and she definitely did not disappoint on my big day! Shelby did a fabulous job on my hair as well. I have thick heavy hair and it stayed in my updo all night, despite the EXTREMELY rainy/muggy weather we had. It looked too beautiful I didn't want to take it out at the end of the night. Best of all, they both felt like old friends while they hung out with us in the bridal suite. They were easy to chat with and made getting ready so fun! Everyone's hair and makeup was done on time and all my bridesmaids were extremely happy. I would highly recommend Crystal and her team to any bride, so worth the money!

Crystal and her team were such an amazing addition to my wedding day!! I got hair and makeup for me, my bridesmaids and makeup for both of our mothers. I absolutely LOVED my makeup and it stayed all day - through all of the tears which I was really worried about. Crystal made the reveal moment really special and asked all of my girls to leave the room and come back when my makeup was finished, so not only did I get a moment to breathe, but everyone got to see my hair/makeup done at the same time in a really great moment. Her and her team did such an amazing job, but best of all, they fit right in with my friends and family! They made us all feel really comfortable and really listened to what all the girls wanted. Shelby and McKenzie did an incredible job! I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. I appreciated that they really listened to what I wanted, were very receptive to feedback, and made me look like me, just the prettiest version of me. I do not wear a lot of make-up in normal day life, so it was really important to me that I didn’t look total foreign - I wanted to be recognizable as me! And they accomplished that! And my hair - I loved my hair so much. My inspiration picture was literally a photo I took of my television screen (I really liked Nicole Kidman’s hair at the Oscars!), and somehow they worked with my super fine, doesn’t-hold-a-curl-at-all hair to pull it off in a way that felt perfect for me. It looked gorgeous after my trial, and even better on my wedding day. And it held up ALL NIGHT: I danced for three hours straight, then went to our after party and closed the bar down at 2a, and my hair and make-up still looked perfect. They also did an amazing job on my two bridesmaids, my mom and my mother-in-law: they worked with what everyone wanted, and everyone felt really beautiful. Shelby and McKenzie were also super organized: they created a schedule for the day, so everyone knew exactly when they were getting what done, and we actually ran ahead of schedule - which was amazing! It gave me a little time to relax (and eat something!) before putting my dress on. I would hire this team again in a heartbeat.

Crystal, her team, and her whole operation are hands down phenomenal. I booked her based off many glowing recommendations, and I hope I can do the same for others, as she delivered 200%. Throughout planning, Crystal and her team were always extremely responsive, helpful and insightful. My trial was so wonderful. I came with a few photos for direction on makeup, but also wanted to utilize her expertise, as I was looking for a glamorous, natural fusion, which I thought was an impossible concept I had dreamed up until she created it perfectly. I have thin hair, so I wore extensions on my wedding day, which I had no experience with, and Shelby, who did my hair so beautifully, was amazing to work through that process with. I sent her photos in advance and she used them to create a similar style I loved so much. Getting ready for my wedding was a dream, thanks to this team of experts. My bridesmaids were a mix of girls who adamantly knew what they wanted, and girls who were open to the discretion of the stylists. In all areas, the results Crystal, Shelby and Brie produced were amazing and perfect. I cannot say enough about the gorgeous outcome of my whole party, they looked beyond beautiful thanks to these ladies. Aside from their brilliant beauty talents, which frankly speak for themselves, as all of her brides and bridal parties turn out stunning, I loved working with Crystal Vasquez because of the atmosphere and assurance she creates. Her team is organized, proactive and seasoned in the industry, and you can tell. They want your day to be perfect and contribute to that in any way they can, above and beyond hair and makeup. (On behalf of my wife) Crystal's team was amazing! They were extremely responsive through the whole process leading up to the big day. We were a half hour late because our hotel had a fire alarm the morning of, and yet Shelby, Brie, and McKenzie worked around this delay and finished everyone on time. After the first trial they took notes about my feedback and incorporated it into the day of the wedding. If you're looking for a great makeup artist in the western/central MA area, look no further! Crystal was just incredible and did an amazing job making me look and feel beautiful of my wedding day. Makeup has been a hobby of mine for as long as I can remember and I'm pretty immersed in the makeup community but when it came to my wedding day, I wanted to leave it to a professional to give me a long lasting, dramatic look that I wasn't confident enough to pull off on my own. When I sent Crystal a message telling her I wanted "full glam" she leaped at the opportunity to take me on. From the first message to the last Crystal and her assistant Shelby were organized, prompt in messaging back and really took the time to make sure that I didn't worry about forgetting anything. Crystal was just a pleasure to be around, was more than open to changing up the look based on my picky preferences and even bought a ton of new makeup just to complete the exact look I wanted. All my bridesmaids got their makeup done as well and I'm very impressed in how she changed the look to best represent each of my bridesmaids individual styles. Wow!!! My wedding was on 5/6/17 and it was my first time meeting Crystal. She exceeded every expectation I had for my wedding day! Crystal and her team saved my wedding day! My husband and I ended up moving our wedding date up and across the country for something family related. We both currently live in California, but were planning the wedding in Mass on short notice and with very few contacts! My Mom wanted to gift me a wedding make up for the big day, so I did some research on Yelp and came across some companies to share with her. Not only did Crystal respond positively (when most other companies turned her down, saying it needed to be booked well in advance and it wouldn't be possible), but she went above and beyond to help us out for the celebration. Crystal sent Shelbe, one of her top girls and the sweetest person, to do my hair AND make up the morning of the wedding and she did not disappoint! Shelbe was early, well prepared, so kind and extremely talented! My hair has never looked better and my make up stayed on through my tears at the wedding. Crystals team of professionals are wonderful! We had Shelby and I think Sarah do our hair and makeup for my wedding. They were friendly and very helpful in making sure that we were all happy with our hair and makeup before we left. We got done before predicted so Shelby stayed around until the predicted time allowing be to eat lunch before my veil got put in! They are quick on the emails and also very accommodating I had 3 people in my bridal party change what services they wanted weeks before the wedding and they were happy to add those in! Shelby did an incredible job with all of us. Our hair held up against wind, and a lot of dancing, and we still looked great at the end of the night. Their parlor space is an amazing spot to get ready, old hard wood floors in an old factory, it had great character. They were extremely accommodating, and allowed other vendors that I hired into their space, making my day stress free and easy. I can't recommend Shelby enough for hair styling on your big day.

So happy I chose Crystal Vazquez & Co. to do hair and makeup for our wedding! Crystal did an amazing job with my makeup, she listened to what I was looking for but also made great suggestions. She made me feel totally comfortable even though I don't wear tons of makeup on a regular basis. Her fun personality was an added bonus! Jen did an amazing job with my hair! I had a slight change since we did the trial and Jen was completely flexible and also made great suggestions! At no point did I feel rushed, they gave themselves and us plenty of time to be ready for photos. I would recommend them to anyone looking for professional hair and makeup for their wedding!

Crystal was absolutely amazing! Crystal Vazquez was recommended to me and it was by far one of the best recommendations I've ever gotten. Crystal did my makeup on my wedding day and not only did she make sure I looked absolutely amazing, but we had such a fun time with her throughout the day. You can't go wrong! Everything was done ahead of schedule with extra time to spare. I can't say enough great things about Crystal and everyone that works with her.

These ladies were amazing the day of my wedding! They completed all hair and makeup ahead of schedule and everything came out perfect! They are so professional and listen to all requests. I cried so many happy tears on my beautiful day and my makeup didn't budge even a little! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for wedding hair and makeup!

I'm am so happy that I went to Crystal and company. They were willing to travel to our location and did an amazing job with the whole bridal party. I normally don't wear a lot of makeup, so I kinda of aloud her to do her thing and she did a great job giving me a natural look. I was very pleased with both the hair and makeup and would definitely recommend them to everyone. They make sure you are happy with everything before they finish each person. So many thanks to Crystal and her whole team (Shelby especially because I worked with her for my trial and day of hair). Booking Crystal was one of my most exciting wedding planning decisions - the first thing to get me really excited! And CV & Co did not disappoint - what an amazing team Crystal has! I’ve known and recommended Crystal for years as a local event planner but I was truly blown away at the actual bridal experience. At my (perfect) trial, she concocted a unique blend of eye shadow just for me. And Shelby curled my natural curls into the exact vision I had for an updo. Using her trendy loft space to get ready was one of my favorite parts of the day! She only books private parties, so you can enjoy her space and her team all to yourselves. Despite my day of nerves, the distraction of being in her space calmed me right down. She does travel, but I have to say, check out her space before you decide! She made me and my girls look and feel so beautiful. Thank you Crystal and team! You are the best.

I was a panicked mess when I find out the people I booked for my hair on my wedding day were no longer in business. Once I found Crystal and her team, I knew that it was meant to be! Jenn and Amanda made sure me and the girls were ready. They did such an amazing job on our hair! And thank you for traveling to us, it helped ease my nerves!

As someone who does not wear makeup on a regular basis and when I do its lipstick and mascara, I was unsure as to what I wanted my wedding "look" to be. During my trial, all I had were a few pictures and no real direction. Amanda and Shelby took this and created a look that completely blew me away. I had never seen myself like that and it was amazing! I had a similar reaction with the makeup for my engagement session. On the wedding day, Shelby, Amanda and McKenzie made all of my bridesmaids and Mom look gorgeous! They each had their own unique look that tied in with the overall romantic feel that I wanted. They also made the whole getting ready process so much more fun and relaxed! If you want to look, and feel, stunning on your wedding day, hire Crystal Vazquez & Company, you will not regret it!

I booked Crystal's team only a month before the wedding. I had a terrific trial with Shelby, McKenzie and Crystal and the day-of went as great with Shelby and McKenzie working on 4 maids, 1 bride and the mother of the groom. Excellent work, tremendously patient and professional. Could not have been happier!

Crystal did an amazing job on makeup for my wedding last weekend! She was professional, positive and able to adapt her makeup looks to suit everyone in my bridal party. She considered dress and flower colors in her looks, and did a range from natural looks to 'the works' based on people's requests. Everyone looked amazing and was completely happy with the makeup... and the looks lasted throughout the night! As someone who wears minimal daily makeup (think tinted moisturizer, concealer, lip gloss), I was a little nervous about having my makeup professionally done, but I shouldn't have worried - Crystal is just amazing at what she does. When I asked my now-husband after our first look what he thought of my makeup (including false eyelashes!), he said "You look beautiful. You look like you!" That was exactly what I was hoping for, and Crystal made it happen. She is worth every penny!

Crystal did an amazing job!!!!
I was so concerned with spending so much money to have my makeup done, but what the heck was I thinking! It was sooo worth it!!! As a bride you deserve to treat yourself, and that's exactly what I did. I felt so pampered having Crystal Vazquez & Co. taking care of me and making me the beautiful bride I was. It was unbelievably refreshing not having to worry what I looked like, especially on my wedding day.
Though I am not getting married again, I will definitely be visiting Crystal Vazquez & Co. in the near future! :)

Crystal and Shelby were amazing right from the start. During the hair trial they executed what I wanted and worked with me to figure out the look I truly was looking for. They were responsive throughout the whole process and went the extra mile right up to my wedding day. Their team did hair and makeup for 5 bridesmaids and 2 flower girls and nailed it! We received compliments all night long as to how beautiful we looked. I am so thankful I chose them to make me look my best on my special day!

Shelby and Crystal were remarkable! They did the hair and makeup for my three bridesmaids and for myself--each of us looked incredible without looking overdone! Crystal and her team were amazing to work with! From the start, Shelby was so helpful & very responsive to questions/emails/phone calls. Crystal and her team came to my house the morning of my wedding to get all the girls glamorized. It was so nice to be able to get ready in the comfort of my own home. Not a hair on my head moved despite an outdoor ceremony on a breezy day and plenty of dancing :-) My makeup felt light on my face and didn't budge at all. Crystal gave me a touch up kit of the products she used to take to the wedding venue. Both Crystal and Jen (who did my hair) really listened to what I was looking for and totally delivered. I would highly recommend them to any future brides- definitely worth every penny!
