I highly recommend Crystal Springs Resort for your wedding venue. Just had my son’s wedding here 1 week ago and I could not be happier with how it went. The venue is beautiful, the staff are incredibly nice and very professional. The staff, particularly Sara McManus the event planner and wedding coordinator we worked with at Crystal Springs was wonderful. She went above and beyond what was expected on more than one occasion including driving to 2 Walmarts to buy blankets on a colder than expected day for the outdoor ceremony. Everything went smoothly because they know what they are doing. The food was delicious at every meal including rehearsal dinner, wedding and brunch. It was so nice to be able to have the guests stay at the resort and all the events are under one roof. Where the outdoor ceremony is held, it is very picturesque with the mountains in the background. Our guests were extremely complimentary of the affair and enjoyed staying at this beautiful resort. I would not hesitate to have your wedding here.

Our day was absolutely magical and perfect! Sara and Hector were an absolute pleasure to work with. They helped us with all of our questions and made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it on the big day! Our guests were blown away by the entire experience, and I can’t recommend CS enough! 

I don’t even know where to begin! The team at grand cascades was absolutely AMAZING! There is not one complaint. Our coordinator, Sara, was so attentive. She really thought of everything and was always accessible from the early planning stages until the day of the wedding. She was super easy to work with and made sure our desires came to life. We loved her so much and she truly felt like a new friend by the end. She made sure all of my decor and dreams were fulfilled all weekend. Hector our maitre d was also the best. He was so attentive on wedding day. If I need something, he knew before I even asked for it. He and our bridal attendant set up such a lovely candlelit dinner moment in the bridal suite for my husband and I to enjoy our cocktail hour food together and have some quiet drinks time together. Hector made sure my shoes and dress were comfortable during the big day and I always had a fresh cocktail available for me. Our bridal attendant, Anne, was also amazing. She was the sweetest and also so attentive to all of my needs throughout the day. Her and hector made an amazing team and made everything look so seemless. They ensured I had a stress free day and that I could just enjoy everything and be in the moment. They also boxed up so much of our food for us to take home and enjoy the next few days following the wedding. I am so happy they did that and I got to try everything I missed on wedding day. All of our guests had amazing things to say about the people and the venue. We truly had the most perfect experience and I would highly recommend this team!

From start to finish, we had a wonderful experience at Crystal Springs Resort in Hamburg, NJ. Both myself and my new Husband, Benny, are both from NJ. We had moved to Maryland a couple of years ago and came back to visit NJ to search for our perfect wedding venue. Instantly, I was in love with both properties we had toured at Crystal Springs Resort. First, we went to Minerals to look at their Outdoor Pavilion. It was simply gorgeous and the property was so much fun. The hotel had a fantastic pool area, gym, and arcade! The personnel were super friendly and accommodating.

Next, we went over to the Grand Cascades Lodge and was given a tour by Jean. Once we drove up the driveway I was in love with the property that was nestled in the mountains and surrounded by trees.> that I knew would look amazing in October when the leaves all started changing. Jean was fantastic to work with when it came to what we were looking for. I.e. venue, accommodations, rehearsals, after party’s. They have it covered. We were able to get a hotel room block secured for our guests for both properties so guests would be able to book slightly cheaper rooms at Minerals. We were also able to secure transportation for the day of for those guests through the property. But it was a one stop, all inclusive wedding package!

The food was phenomenal, the cake a drinks were awesome. I had gone through New City Florist for the most gorgeous flowers, but the fact that the resort had mums and foliage everywhere added to the ambiance! We met our Event Coordinator, Sara M, during our wedding tasting. She was a life saver throughout the entire planning process. Every time I would have a question or inquiry, she would have an answer or solution. Her energy and enthusiasm created the perfect atmosphere for wedding planning. It definitely kept me going on days I was feeling a little overwhelmed. The day of our wedding was like a dance. Everything had been planned, coordinated and organized. The day flowed smoothly, just a little too quick! :) For the bridal suite we had Lena and Anna, our room attendants. Lovely and fantastic! Both Sara and Hector, our Maitre D, were with us throughout the start of the ceremony to the end of the reception, making sure we stayed on schedule. They even made sure we were able to eat at cocktail hour and see the Emerald Ballroom set up before any of the guests entered.> .and we may have practiced a quick first dance.
I can’t describe how appreciative I am to have the entire CSR team supporting us throughout our wedding experience! We had our rehearsal dinner in the wine cellar the night before. The ambiance of the Bordeaux room was perfect. And once again, the food did not disappoint! They have a wine tasting and tour there as well, which we ended up doing twice. One other time with my bridal party. I used the Hair and Makeup Stylists through the resort Spa and had a trial run done at Elements. Again, everyone was so sweet and professional. And they definitely know how to glam up even a tom boy such as myself. The rooms are gorgeous and convenient. I would definitely pay slightly extra again for the 1 king bedroom suite. It was nice to have a full kitchen and balcony. My sisters had gotten regular rooms, which were still great, but I love the option of heating up some late night snacks. Our room actually came with the wedding package! And we chose to extend and extra 2 days. I would highly recommend this venue.

There truly is no other venue doing it quite like Crystal Springs. The professionalism, attention to detail and overall amazing experience was out of this world. 

Our wedding was on 10/17/25 but we booked with Crystal Springs in April of 2023. The price was amazing for our estimated guest count of 180. From day one, they ensured that our needs were met with email check ins and every time we went to the property, we were always treated like VIP guests. 

Once we got closer to our wedding, that’s when the real fun began! Our wedding coordinator, Sara, was out of this world amazing!! She would check on us, ensure we had everything we needed and would let us bounce ideas off of her when needed, she is simply the best. Any question, comment or concern I had was met with professionalism and reassurance that things were perfect. 

Then came wedding day!! The team went ABOVE and BEYOND! They ensured we always had food, water, drinks and anything else we needed or requested to have the best day ever. They were incredibly punctual and our whole day went off without a hitch. The team was so great all day. They set up a beautiful, private moment for us before the reception and it’s a memory we will cherish for the rest of our lives. 

Also all food from our cocktail hour and dinner, they packaged up beautifully for us to take home which was awesome!

Another testament of how amazing the staff is was when i was right about to walk down the aisle during the ceremony, my dress had ripped and they were able to pin me in so I looked perfect for photos. Then again, during the reception, a guest stepped and ripped my bustle and my banquet manager, Hector, literally sewed my dress back up so I could keep dancing and it wouldn’t get ruined!!! He managed to sew it up in literally 5 minutes and it looked like nothing happened!  

As a professional event planner, working with the staff at Crystal Springs was a dream come true. They knew their stuff, they are professional and they are on the money. They’re the absolute best at what they do and you can’t beat the location. I’d get married again every weekend if it meant I could go back to Crystal Springs!! 

We had our wedding at Crystal springs this past weekend 9/6/25 at Ballyowen golf course. Lee was our wedding planner and Marc was our maitre’d’. We were exceptionally happy with the quality of the food, the professionalism with which they conducted themselves. Lee really went out of her way to help us from planning to setting things up. She is responsive and friendly as well as extremely helpful. The same sentiments go for Marc who really made the event even more special for us. I truly can’t say enough good things about them both. I highly recommend Crystal springs to anyone as they will make your day as special as ours was !!

Our wedding at Crystal Springs Resort was everything we hoped it would be and more! From start to finish, the staff was so helpful and accommodating — from answering our endless questions to even helping us unload our car. On the day of, they made us feel so special and well taken care of. A huge shoutout to our coordinator, Kathleen, who was incredibly responsive to every question we had and made the entire process smooth and stress-free.

The venue itself was absolutely beautiful, with gorgeous views and the convenience of having our guests stay right on site. The food was delicious, and the dance floor was the perfect size so everyone could celebrate without feeling crowded. We had several bridal party members with severe allergies, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure they were safe and still able to enjoy full meals at the rehearsal, cocktail hour, and reception — something we appreciated so deeply.

And the afterparty at the Biosphere? An absolute blast! It was such a unique and memorable way to end the night, and our guests had the time of their lives. We cannot recommend Crystal Springs Resort enough for a truly unforgettable wedding experience.

We had our wedding at Black Bear Golf Club and had the time of our lives! The venue is beautiful and the food is top notch. Lee and Kim made our day so seamless and smooth, and the entire staff was so friendly and professional. Everything from touring the venue, to signing the contract, to planning and coordinating for the big day was a breeze. We would do it all over again at Black Bear, it was the best!

From being incredibly responsive to all our emails and questions over the past year, to keeping copious notes on all our requests and executing beautifully on our wedding weekend, the resort and our wedding coordinators exceeded our expectations! Being that we had an Indian wedding, we were a bit nervous initially about CSR, but Kathleen and Dana quickly put our nerves at ease with their professionalism, organization and kindness. It was a pleasure working with them to plan the wedding weekend of our dreams. We received numerous compliments from guests and our vendors about the beauty of the resort and are so lucky to have gotten married there. We would highly recommend getting married at Crystal Springs Resort and hosting other wedding events there as well!

We recently had our wedding at Crystal Springs Grand Cascade and it was the best day of our lives. My husband Tommy and I were so happy with the whole experience!! Crystal Springs is an incredible wedding location to enjoy your entire wedding weekend. The location is absolutely stunning for pictures, with an amazing sunset. The ballroom is beautiful and elegant for a classic wedding feel. And all our guests raved about the food (and the cocktail hour selections are incredible!)

We had our reception at the Emerald Ballroom and most of our guests stayed at Grand Cascades Lodge and Minerals Hotel (they offer great wedding block rates). From the day we arrived at the hotel until leaving, the entire staff, from the valets to the bartenders, were incredibly helpful and friendly. They truly do everything to make your weekend wonderful.

Sara was an amazing coordinator and made the process so easy. She was so responsive and helpful with all our questions the months leading up to the wedding, and on the weekend of the wedding she made sure everything ran smoothly. I can honestly say not one thing went wrong on our wedding day and it is largely because Sara and her team are so amazing.

One heartwarming story that highlights the exceptional service at Crystal Springs involves a staff member who offered to give a guest a ride on a golf cart. When the guest was unable to ride due to a dirty passenger seat, the staff member graciously offered to ride on the back, allowing the guest to drive ensuring she arrived safely and comfortably. This is just one of many stories we've heard from our guests about the kind and accommodating staff at Crystal Springs.

Overall, our wedding at Crystal Springs was an absolute dream come true. We are eternally grateful for the perfect evening and the unforgettable memories we made. 10/10 would recommend!

My wedding day was perfect thanks to the team at Crystal Springs! Their attention to detail was phenomenal! Best day of my life.

I would recommend Crystal Springs Grand Cascades Lodge too all future brides. The staff, the venue, everything was amazing. From the start, Sara went above and beyond to answer all of my many questions. She took the time to speak with me and my parents so we understood everything. I was nervous about not having a day of coordinator but once we started the rehearsal, I knew I was in good hands. Kaitlyn was my evening bridal attendant and she was just phenomenal. She knew what I needed before I even asked. Drink was getting low? I had a fresh one in my hand before my last sip. She knew exactly what needed to happen without ever meeting before my wedding day. Now Hector, my amazing Maitre D. We met back at my tasting but did not meet again until my wedding day. We met briefly just to go over service one last time and everything was flawless. He prioritized my wants and needs above everything else. He made sure my husband and I had everything we needed and made sure we were happy. My day wouldn’t have been perfect without these three and I am so grateful I was able to have my wedding at the Grand Cascades Lodge. The only con and I won’t even deduct a start for this, was one front desk agent. On more than one occasion, I had guests reach out and tell me that someone at the front desk was rude and was giving them trouble with booking a room. Thankfully when I brought this up to the team, it was addressed and there were no further issues. Overall, if you find a date at Crystal Springs and they are in your budget, book them. You won’t regret it.

When we were in the beginning stages of planning our wedding, we knew we wanted a venue that had a beautiful outdoor space to host our ceremony. We also wanted a venue that was conveniently close to hotels to accommodate most of our guests attending the ceremony and reception. Crystal Springs Resort is not only the venue, but also the hotel. It also had the event space for our reception and After Party. It is a one stop shop which made it incredibly easy on us when planning our wedding. Once we toured the grounds and met with their wedding services team, we fell in love and knew it was a perfect fit for us. The resort is gorgeous and did not feel like a wedding factory, like a lot of other venues do these days. The staff were so detail oriented, professional and walked us through every detail. Our wedding coordinator, Kathleen, was amazing. She is responsive, professional, and genuine every step of the way. We could tell she truly cares about making the day as special as possible while also helping to advise on certain details that we either hadn’t thought about or planned. Hector, our maitre d, was amazing and helped the timeline of our wedding run flawlessly due to his hard work throughout the whole night. Crystal Springs Resort is known for their incredible food and they sure hit the mark. Everyone who attended marveled at the food and drink. Their stunning hotels provided our guests with comfort and assistance and the entire staff went above and beyond in delivering a premiere experience. From our unforgettable ceremony in the Wedding Garden, to cocktail hour in the Rotunda, to the reception in the Emerald Ballroom, to our after party in the epic Biosphere, it was the perfect day. It was a no brainer for us in choosing them and we highly recommend using Crystal Springs Resort! We had the wedding of our dreams and would choose them again and again!

Our wedding at CS was nothing short of incredible. I could not imagine it being anywhere else. The team, staff, capabilities and property are perfect. We had a 250 person 3 day long weekend and everything was top tier, organized and went on without a hitch (at least from what I know). It was exactly what we wanted and more. All our guests were on site for the weekend enjoying and amazing experience and mini getaways. The event/wedding team is incredible. Lee, Kathleen, Hector, Tom and everyone we worked with for the year of planing was kind, excited for us, helpful, attentive accommodating and always looking for solutions to help us and our vendors make our wedding weekend come to life. The service, food, and event spaces are perfect. There are so many capabilities and the property is gorgeous. If you are considering having your wedding at CS don't hesitate and book today. If we could throw our wedding 20 times over we would not change one thing.

My wedding here on 4/27/24 was the best day of my life. Kathleen Conlin with the venue coordinated such a beautiful affair, and I couldn’t have asked for anything better.

Thank you so much to everyone at the Crystal Springs Resort for making out wedding day so incredible! The food was amazing, the vibes we're immaculate and people are still talking about the pool party after party 6 months later! They have their operation down to a science and execute the day to perfection. There was nothing that I had to worry about on the day. Sara and Hector were incredibly helpful throughout the process and on the wedding day. Would 100% recommend to anyone thinking of booking this venue!

We cannot say enough good things about our recent wedding at Crystal Springs. And neither could all of our guests! Every detail of the wedding was perfect. The staff was incredibly helpful, kind, polite and quick to respond. Our wedding planner at Crystal Springs, Sara, was amazing. She made sure everything we hoped for happened! Each guest told us it was the best wedding they had been too, and then immediately talked about the food! The food is amazing. There is so many options and offerings, our guests were beyond impressed and beyond full. It really is the perfect venue, not only because of the hotel aspect and beauty, but because the CS staff all work as hard as possible to create your dream wedding. They all care, and give it their all. And if you're lucky enough to work with Hector as your maitre d, you will be even more impressed! We fell in Love with the Black Bear from day one . Crystal Springs has 4 venue to pick from . All different looking . The Black scenery was Beautiful inside and out . The place has beautiful grounds for the photographer to take pictures. You have a wedding planner that walks you thru every step of the way from day one to your big day . All 4 venue have an elaborate menu to pick from including your cake . It’s insane the amount of food you pick .You even have a food tasting to try out the goods . We looked at so many venues and Crystal Spring blows every other places away in the food and packages to . Also as a bride and groom they give you 2 nights free to stay at the Grand Cascade . What beautiful rooms and view . Plus your guest get to stay at hotel half off the hotel price with a shuttle bus to venue . If you want to stay longer your get the discounted price to for additional stay which we did . They have so much to offer . I highly recommend Crystal Spring in Hamburg Nj I give them 10 plus star . My friends and Family are STILL talking about this wedding . They all said the food was phenomenal. We did the Platinum Package . I wish I can get married again and that beautiful experience again .

From start to finish, Black Bear Golf Club was a dream to work with for our 10/14/23 wedding. Lee was the greatest wedding coordinator a couple could ask for. She dished out helpful advice and suggestions, answered all our questions, and was warm and friendly every step of the way. She was a source of calm on wedding weekend and we're so grateful for her expertise.

The food at Black Bear is generous and delicious. Couples have so many tasty options to choose from and your guests will not leave hungry. The cake that Black Bear supplies from Calandra's is equally incredible.

The reception area is spacious -- there's two bars, ample seating, and a large dance floor. The room for cocktail hour is a nice inside/outside space, with enough room for guests to spread out, enjoy each other's company, and take in the scenery.

It poured on our wedding day, so we weren't able to use the outside ceremony area, but the staff did an incredible job setting up inside -- the extra decorations and touches they added made it feel just as beautiful. If you get married in fall like we did, prepare to be wowed but all of the pumpkins, gourds, mums, and harvest vibes.

Of course, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the mountains -- our guests couldn't believe how breathtaking they were as the fog rolled in, and the gentle wisps of foliage sprinkled within.

Net/net: Black Bear is affordable in terms of the wedding industry; the food is delicious and bountiful; the scenery is beautiful; and the staff is friendly and helpful. I've been replaying this wonderful day in my head endless since the big day. THANK YOU for everything!

I can’t say enough AMAZING things about this venue. I have wanted to get married here for so many years so of course once I got engaged I ran to this venue within 48 hours of being engaged. That’s how much I love this place. Everything is here..golf, spa, salon, ceremony/reception area and you get the added bonus of a hotel onsite. Plus another hotel down the street if you need extra rooms. It cannot get more convenient than that. Not to mention the staff is amazing..we booked our date with Jean initially and the process with her was SEAMLESS. Easy, straightforward, no surprise fees. And then it only got better..Kathleen, our wedding coordinator, is phenomenal you want someone like her beside you throughout the process and on the big day. There is a reason she’s in this role because this woman is amazing and diligent. I was never scared of how something would look or come out because Kathleen was on top of it the whole time. We ended up getting married in the ballroom since the weather was not ideal outside. Although anyone would be sad to have this change, the venue & Kathleen of course made sure to make it beautiful. The ballroom is gorgeous and let me say I was not disappointed at all. In fact, I forgot about being outside for the ceremony. And then on top of having a coordinator, we had a maitre D, Hector, and a bridal assistant, Sophia. They were so kind and were by my side & my hubby’s side the whole night.
They even would make sure my hubby and I got something to eat and drink at all times. They were my right hand the whole night of the wedding. The staff here is nothing less than spectacular. If I could do it again I would pick this venue OVER and OVER. My guests are still talking about how amazing our wedding was. 50000/5 is the review I would give because this place is a dream venue with excellent service and the views are just an added bonus.

Crystal springs was a dream to work with! They made our wedding day so easy and flow so nicely! They were even able to switch our outdoor wedding indoors due to a very rainy windy day! They hit the nail on the head in every aspect. We even ran into a problem with the hotel where our requests got lost and they were able to fix everything for us!

Ballyowen Golf Club at Crystal Springs Resort was an absolutely breathtaking venue for our wedding. The staff are absolute professionals and take the occasion seriously. They are supportive throughout the entire planning process, the big day, and even after the event. We had a wonderful wedding here and would definitely recommend to anyone.

Choosing to have my wedding at Crystal Springs Resort was the best decision my husband and I made! We were married 7/7/23 at Sweetgrass Pavilion at Minerals Hotel and as uncommon as a PERFECT wedding day is, ours truly was. From early communication with Rebecca, Wedding Sales Manager, our questions were answered almost immediately every single time! As we got closer to our big day we connected with Dana, Wedding Coordinator, who is a rock star! Not only is she so personable, she is NO BS which ever Bride NEEDS and made sure every thing we envisioned on our wedding day was brought to life down to the tiniest details! Our Maitre D made the decision to bring our ceremony inside, though rain was not in our forecast, and at first I disagreed, however, having so much experience, he knew my guests would have BOILED in the summer sun and set up the indoor option BEAUTIFULLY in front of floor to ceiling windows for a gorgeous view as we said "I do." Reception is where we met our Bridal Attendant, Kaya, though she truly was our best friend for the day! Kaya took care of my husband and I the entire night, whether we needed drinks, food or just a second to be reminded to breathe and soak in the moment. The bartenders would find me on the dancefloor to make sure I was drinking water, our fridge was stocked with cocktail and reception food when we got back to our hotel room at the end of the night. I can go on and on! We saw negative reviews over the year and half we spent planning for our big day so concerns were inevitable, not one guests had a complaint, truly! From food, to accommodations, to hotel activities, every single person had an amazing time; some of which even making a weekend out of it and extending their stays! We kept our party going and spent the next day in the pool drinking rum buckets recapping the magical night before. Check in went smoothly! I remember that being a concern as our ceremony started at 5PM and check in was at 4PM with everything right there on the property, there were no issues to be had. I truly feel spoiled with how well my big day went, but I have to say, having chosen Crystal Springs Resort is what made all of it possible. I can't thank everyone at Minerals Hotel enough! We had the night of our lives!

There are honestly no words that could express our gratitude for the most beautiful wedding ever. From the moment we started working with Dana every detail was managed with perfection! From the set up in the gorgeous garden to the fabulous food and outrageously beautiful Sweetgrass pavillion everything was pure perfection. Dana was a marvel at dealing with every aspect of our wedding and making it a complete success. Everything was so beautiful and the food was so delicious. Also, I would like to mention Kaya our bridal attendant who managed all details on the actual wedding day. There was not a thing that was left to chance. She stayed with us the entire day, driving us around in the golf cart and showing us the best picture shots and hand held the bridal party through every step of the day. She was absolutely amazing!

A friend with great taste recommended the minerals hotel at Crystal Springs Resort to us for a wedding she went to a few years ago. But we had no idea how fabulous the venue, food and service would be. I can’t tell you how many people came up to me during and after the wedding to tell me it was the best wedding they ever attended. My niece who had a six figure wedding at the Rainbow room in nyc and goes to a lot of black tie high end affairs told me the cocktail hour was the best she has even been to. They were always being willing to take my calls and answer all my questions. They were wonderful!! And Dana our wedding coordinator was totally amazing!! She gave us such good advice along the way and really made sure our day went smoothly and we were very well taken care of. And Kaia the day of wedding coordinator assigned to was absolutely amazing!! She was so organized and attentive. We have never experienced or expected anything like what she did for us the whole day and evening. My daughter and new son-in-law told me after the wedding that if they had designed their perfect wedding, this was it!! Thank you for a truly amazing experience and helping to make my daughter’s dream come true!!

We got married on April 1, 2023. The entire staff, especially our Wedding Coordinator, Kathleen, and the maître de & bridal attendant, Hector & Amber, were fantastic. The day was absolutely perfect and a complete dream. Our journey with Crystal Springs Grand Cascades Lodge started in February 2022 when we visited the resort and boked out wedding. We worked with the sales coordinator, Jean, through the entire process and were able to get all our food and beverage needs met. She is very responsive and attentive to your needs (and wants) and was able to make the entire booking process easy. Jean was very kind to our parents and was very professional and responsive when I would panic or become frazzled. Thank you, Jean! A month or so before the wedding, Kathleen made sure we were part of a group tasting and had several meetings/calls/emails with us about the events. The day before the wedding, my family and most of our guests arrived to check in and some for the rehearsal and dinner in the Chestnut Room. Kathleen kept everyone organized even when we all were late and handled last minute problems for me! I am sure something went wrong during our Wedding Day, but I have no idea because she seemed to take care of everything. My husband and I had two ceremonies, and both were supposed to be outdoor. Due to the rain, they were moved into the Emerald Ballroom. I was initially upset because my vision was to have them outside, but my decorator and Kathleen made my first ceremony look stunning. After the first ceremony, we had lunch downstairs in the banquet rooms and the sun came out. I asked Kathleen if the second ceremony could be outside, and she immediately said yes and had her team coordinate to bring some of the décor outside. I was thrilled and so happy with how everything turned out. I got the best of both worlds. After the ceremonies, our families enjoyed a cocktail hour in the Rotunda. After each ceremony, Kathleen shouted the names from my photo list so we could have pictures with both sides of our family and extended family. She kept the pace and made sure we stuck to my itinerary. I am so thankful she was able to keep everything organized and moving, especially with so many people. Thank you, Kathleen!!! As the cocktail hour / reception started, Hector and Amber started taking care of us. Amber set up the bridal suite beautifully for my husband and me with roses and champagne, and made sure all the food was heated for us to share. It was so sweet. The entire night Hector and Amber made sure we ate, had lots of drinks, and that anything we wanted was taken care of! They were fantastic and truly made us feel like royalty. Amber even made sure we had a second dinner because she noticed w did not eat much! Thank you, Amber! After the reception, we had an after party at the Biosphere. Hector helped me and my friends take everything from the Bridal Suite to my room so we would not leave anything behind. He was so attentive and made sure I had everything I needed. Thank you, Hector! Overall, we had the most beautiful and gorgeous wedding and experience possible at Crystal Springs Grand Cascades Lodge. I cannot thank Kathleen, Jean, Amber, Hector, and all the staff for the amazing job they did to ensure we had the wedding of our dreams. I highly recommend Crystal Springs Resort for any and all events. It is a beautiful location with highly trained staff who will go the extra mile many times! THANK YOU!!

We had such a wonderful and positive experience with this venue. Everything was absolutely perfect and we had the best day ever!!!! The entire staff were so helpful and the food was amazing. Wish we could get married all over again.

We chose Crystal Springs for our wedding on 3/11/23 and it did not disappoint. It was truly the most magical day! After experiencing my sister get married there in 2016, I knew it was where I wanted to celebrate my most special day as well. My husband, being the avid golfer that he is, did not take much convincing. We did an 11 month engagement and the process was seamless from start to finish. The food was fantastic and the service was top notch.

I have to give a special shout out to Sara, our wedding coordinator. I don’t think the day would have gone so smoothly without her expertise. She was absolutely fantastic and so attentive to each and every detail. She handled everything on the day of as well and I was able to truly relax and enjoy myself. Hector, our Maitre D, and Amber, our bridal attendant, were excellent as well! The only downside we faced was the expense of the hotel rooms on site at Grand Cascade. Due to the cost of any room in Grand Cascade, some guests were left to find other accommodations. Overall, we had an excellent experience and our wedding day was truly special. Crystal Springs helped turn our wedding dreams into a reality.

We had our wedding at Grand Cascades in December 2022 and we can honestly say that the staff and venue met and exceeded every expectation we had. The day went by so quickly but reflecting back on everything and in speaking with our guests, Crystal Springs was incredible in every way including service, food, value, attention to detail, and just the overall ambiance of the hotel and venue.

Many months prior to the wedding we worked with Jean who helped us book the wedding and do all of the pre-details. Jean was easy to work with, flexible, and answered all of the questions we had whenever we reached out to her. Once we got closer to the date we met our coordinator Kathleen, who took over from there. Kathleen was honestly a rock star in so many ways and was there at a moment's notice whenever we needed her throughout the days prior to the wedding and the wedding day. We had a few last minute emergencies/requests that Kathleen handled with grace and ease and always seemed to be one step ahead of our requests. I cannot say enough good things about her quality service and helpfulness!!!

Our Maitre D' Hector and Bridal Attendant Julianna were equally amazing. Julianna was extremely helpful and always by our side whenever we needed anything during the wedding day, as was Hector. One of our favorite parts of the night was when they pulled us from the cocktail hour a few minutes early so that we could view the reception room for the first time all decorated and prepared. After we saw the room they took us to the bridal suite where they set up candles and Champagne and gave us a huge selection of hors devours that they set aside from the cocktail hour to nibble on while we took a few minutes to relax by ourselves. This was an amazing touch that made the night even more special. Aside from this, these two were always there to fill our drinks and provide whatever we needed as the party went on.

In terms of the cocktail hour, the food was delicious and extremely plentiful. We went with the platinum package and our guests were not disappointed with any of the selections. We were able to try a few of the apps ourselves, which were delicious, but our guests raved to us about the food and how amazing it was. Our personal favorites were the raw bar, the lamb shanks, the peking duck bar, the brisket cornbread, and the lobster roll. All of the seafood items were amazing to be honest and there was a vast selection of options to choose from for literally anyone. We had a few guests who have gluten allergies and the staff was extremely accommodating and even labeled a few of the stations as gluten free upon our request.

Moving on to the reception. The room itself was decorated for winter/Christmas and we opted for table settings with mostly white flowers, lanterns and lots of votive candles, which looked amazing with the Christmas trees and wreaths that were already setup. We opted to add amber colored up-lighting, which I would HIGHLY recommend. It costed about $1,700, which is not cheap, but it made the room look amazing and I think was one of the best additions we could've added. If you're on the fence, just bite the bullet and add up-lighting.

In terms of food and service, again, everything was first rate. We had the fig and arugula salad first, which was already plated as the guests entered and then after introductions and dances we had the mushroom and truffle bisque. The salad was good, but the soup was amazing! My husband finished his whole bowl even after we ate plenty of appetizers. Our dinner options were the seared chicken breast, the steak, and the Moroccan sea bass. Again our guests raved about the food and most of the plates we saw were eaten clean. During the reception the head chef even came to our table to see how we liked the food which was an awesome touch. The steak meal was honestly the best steak I've ever had at a wedding (i know we're biased). The chef shared that all of the steaks were sous vide and then seared off to whatever temperature was ordered, and it was apparent by how delicious they were. Again, this is just another testament to the attention to detail and the overall service level of Crystal Springs.

The rest of the party was amazing and went by in the blink of an eye. Bartenders and wait staff were outstanding and kept the open bar flowing the entire night. Fun was certainly had by all who attended.

FOr our after-party we opted to do it in the Biosphere pool which I would also say is a must do. Some of our guests were a little hesitant when we told them to pack a swimsuit, but I can honestly say that everyone who came down to the pool had an after-party they will never forget. The ambiance was again amazing and was exactly what we wanted for our wedding. We partied into the night at the pool and the staff was there for whatever we needed. One request my husband had was to offer pre-purchase cigars at the bar for guests to take which they happily did without question.

The day after the wedding we held a breakfast for our guests in the Rotunda(cocktail hour) room, which was really nice as well. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed being back in the beautiful room one last time. Definitely a good option if you're considering it.

We were also able to pick up all of our decorations, bridal suite items, and wedding "stuff" the following day from Kathleen. Everything was neatly packaged and labeled and not one thing was lost, broken, or left behind. Again I cant express how amazing the wedding staff is at Crystal Springs and I would tell anyone interested in this venue to 100% book it. Our guests LOVED the hotel and equally loved the venue. Our only regret from the weekend is that the wedding is over and we can't do the whole thing again!

To the brides and grooms who say they don’t eat on their wedding day, Crystal Springs makes it impossible for you to miss a meal! We had a massive platter of cheese in our room before cocktail hour and another cocktail hour course awaiting us before reception began. Everything was so beautiful and big shout out to Chef John! He was so accommodating with everything and really made us feel so special! Would definitely recommend getting married here, it was truly perfect!

Our daughter chose this venue for its beauty at that time of year. It did not disappoint. The resort is a well oiled machine with very professional and experienced staff who provide a ton of support throughout the process. Sara McManus our wedding coordinator was very helpful and experienced.

From the moment we stepped into Crystal Springs Country Club, we knew this was our dream venue. It provides the perfect balance of rustic, elegant, and nature vibes.

From day one, our wedding planning experience was seamless. Kathleen, our coordinator, absolutely crushed it! She was so helpful, organized, and just a genuinely lovely person. It was incredible to see her bring our vision to life on wedding day. We wouldn't change a single thing.

Our wedding was absolutely perfect! We continue to receive amazing feedback from our guests about how great the staff was, how delicious the food was, how beautiful the venue was, and how nice the hotel rooms are - I could go on and on. Our Maître d and Bridal Attendant were extremely attentive and helpful throughout the entire night - we were able to enjoy the night because of their coordination and help.

And the cherry on top - we hosted our after-party at the Biosphere Pool and it was a HUGE hit!!! People will talk about our wedding for years to come because of the pool.

The only negative comment I had about the entire day was that my parent's hotel room was on the completely opposite side of the hotel from the bridal suite. We kept all of our dresses, details, accessories, steamers etc. in their room so did A LOT of walking back and forth to get everything into the bridal suite.

We would 10000% choose Crystal Springs Country Club again (I honestly wish I could go back and throw our wedding all over again!) They are a well-oiled machine that makes wedding planning easy and delivers a top-notch experience for both the couple and the guests.

When I got engaged back in May 2021 and started searching for wedding venues, my husband had one criteria and one criteria only... Not get married in a "typical NJ wedding venue". Being an outdoorsy guy, he said he wanted something with better outdoor space for photos, etc. It certainly can be overwhelming when researching for venues, with so many options to choose, especially in the NJ area. At the time, I honestly have never heard of Crystal Springs Resort. I am from central NJ and haven't ventured up that way too often in my life. After seeing the photos and looking a bit more into this venue, I knew that I had to set up a visit and see if it was in my price range. I walked in and turned to my fiancé and said "I am about to get my heart broken there is no way we can afford this". Jean originally helped us and was so helpful in explaining everything Crystal Springs had to offer, pricing & package options, etc. I walked out of that first meeting knowing that I was going to book this venue for my wedding! They offer several different venues, but given the size wedding we were having, we decided Crystal Springs Country Club was the one for us! Fast forward a few months, I was assigned a wedding coordinator Sara McManus who helped us with setting us our tasting, answering any questions we had along the way, final details meeting, etc. Sara was there every step of the way up until and through the wedding itself. Let me tell you, she is good at putting out fires! I had requested some planters be removed and there was concern as to what was under the planters themselves. Sara literally grabbed the landscaper who was on site to help cover the dirt areas with grass the day of! In addition we had a no show violinist and I didn't even know there was an issue until after it was already handled. Sara quickly grabbed my DJ and got them set up to play the music for the ceremony. This is exactly the type of coordinator and help you need on your wedding day, because unfortunately not everything always goes as smoothly as we hope! But Sara was honestly amazing and I can't thank her enough for all her help! We had the MOST PERFECT weekend wedding in all aspects - venue, weather, staff support, food, everything! What I loved the most about this specific venue is that you really can make it a destination wedding without traveling too far. 90% of my guests stayed at Crystal Springs, and probably about half of them made it into a weekend staying 2 nights! The next day we hung around the fire pits, ate, drank, golfed and had a blast all weekend long! It's also a huge perk that you don't have to transport you guests to hotels - everyone can stay right there! My photos came out AMAZING - the scenery is honestly breathtaking. You can't believe that you are in NJ. I cannot tell you how many compliments I received from my guests - everyone was raving about it! I cannot thank Crystal Springs and the staff more for helping make my wedding day so perfect! I highly recommend them for not only your wedding but also a beautiful weekend getaway!

My husband and I are SOO happy we chose Crystal Springs-Grand Cascades as our venue!! We loved the convenience of having the ceremony, reception, cocktail and hotel all in one place for our guests. The venue is so versatile it can cater to how big/small of a wedding you are looking for. The food was hands down 1000% amazing, our guests keep raving about it. The day of was so smooth, relaxing and bridal suite is so dreamy!!! Huge SHOUT OUT to our coordinator, Sara, aka VIP! She truly cares about all her clients and it speaks volume. She’s a true rockstar who went above and beyond- I would have been lost with out her! Also, Michael and Victor were SO accommodating- they kept us in good hands and we didn't have to worry about the little details as they handled it. We recently got married end of September and the flowers, landscape, nature were all captured in our photos. We wouldn’t have changed one thing about Crystal Springs!

We got married at Grand Cascades and it was the wedding of my dreams. Crystal springs continued to surprise me with their generosity and making every moment special and perfect. Crystal Springs Country Club was a fantastic wedding venue. The service and venue were top notch and at a very strong price point compared to other venues in New Jersey. The team went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and were extremely friendly. Jean and Kathleen are very good wedding planners and the service for the day of was phenomenal. We did the basic food package and the cocktail hour food is one of the best of any wedding I have been to. You definitely get your moneys worth at this venue. We received so many compliments from our guests. I would highly recommend.

We had our wedding at Crystal Springs Resort (Grand Cascades Lodge) in August 2022.....not only were we delighted with how our wedding day turned out, but the team at Crystal Springs did an amazing job guiding us through all of the decisioning in the months leading up to the wedding. Our guests raved about the venue, the presentation, the food, and the accommodations. While the wedding day itself was all we could have hoped for, having it here allowed ourselves and our guests to enjoy an entire weekend of celebration. There are so many ways everyone can enjoy the property, and the rehearsal dinner in the wine cellar blew everyone away. A special thanks to our wedding coordinator Sara--she did so much to help ensure our wedding was a success.

We had our wedding at Grand Cascades in June 2022 and had such an amazing experience! Throughout the planning process we worked with Sarah, who was awesome all the way from planning the details, picking up the phone whenever I needed her, providing advice on anything I asked, and all the way through to the day of. She handled everything that came up with grace and kindness, even in tough family situations that arose. We chose CS Grand Cascades for a few key reasons (1) the amazing menu and presentation of the food (2) the beautiful ceremony, cocktail hour and reception spaces and (3) the value you get for your money. We also LOVED the fact that the hotel was on-site and we didn’t need to worry about transportation for ourselves or our guests throughout the day and afterwards. This provided SO many advantages, including access to the bridal suite all day and being able to take advantage of the hotel bar on-site for a causal after party without any extra cost to us. It is definitely an under-rated venue in NJ that we are SO happy we found! We were able to stick to our ideal budget while not comprising on quality of the event. I have been told by so many people how we threw the BEST wedding they’ve ever been to. The event staff is a well-oiled machine and truly think of everything to make your day the most special and seamless experience. Highly recommend to all future brides!!

The candles were clean burning and had an enticing fragrant aroma. They looked absolutely stunning on the tables and made beautiful wedding favors.

We had our wedding at Grand Cascade Lodge on May 7th, 2022. There are no words that can describe how beautiful this venue is. However, what makes this venue even much better is its staff. They are kind and showed us great hospitality for seven different wedding related events we hosted there.

We specifically worked with Kathleen Conlin and Jean Van De Ree. Both were very easy to work with and took time to understand what we wanted in our wedding. Especially, Indian wedding!

We had signed our contract during the uncertain times of COVID related lockdowns, Jean, as a sales manager, really made us feel comfortable around any cancellations that can happen due to unforeseen events like COVID. She understood what we wanted to execute and she helped us set up the right event framework.

Alongside Jean, Kathleen was also great to work with. She is full of positive energy! She carefully took notes and was quite organized. Any obstacles that came during the event, she helped us resolve the issue calmly.

Overall, our experience with Crystal Spring and its staff was extremely positive. They helped us execute our big day just like we had imagined! We would highly recommend this venue!

If you are considering Ballyowen Golf Club as your wedding venue, I highly suggest you do it. We initially had our tour with Julie, and from then on, she was incredibly helpful and just really great to work with. She answered every question/concern I had so promptly and was always so helpful. She was even so helpful the day of the wedding, which we are grateful for! About a month before the wedding, Ballyowen got a new wedding coordinator, Lee, and she was amazing from the minute we started working with her. From our final details meeting to the day of the wedding, we couldn’t have done it without her. She made sure our day went so smoothly up until our ceremony was over. We really couldn’t have asked for a better wedding coordinator! On the day of the wedding, we were also introduced to our maitre d, Mike, and we have too many great things to say about him. He made sure my wife, our parents, and I were taken care of the entire night. Ensured everything transitioned from the cocktail hour to the reception flawlessly. Was so personable. Our guests were even coming up to us and saying how great he is. With that, we could not have worked with better people at Ballyowen. The food was amazing, the venue is absolutely beautiful. We are blown away.

We had our wedding @ the Black Bear Golf Club it was within our budget and it was everything and more we could’ve hoped for. They allowed me to set up the day before since I DIY my wedding. The staff, the food and environment was great and it made our special day amazing and beautiful!

My husband and I just recently got married at Ballyowen Golf Club and were completely blown away. From first being in contact with their wedding sales manager, Julie, we knew Ballyowen was the perfect venue for our big day. Julie is very knowledgeable, personable and patient. She answered about 100 questions from us throughout the planning process before we were introduced to our wedding coordinator, Taylor, who was equally as amazing. Taylor unfortunately parted ways with Ballyowen about a month before our wedding, which is when we were introduced to our new coordinator, Lee. Lee did not skip a beat and after our first call with her we knew we were in great hands! She had all of Taylor’s detailed notes ready to go and not even one minor detail got lost in translation. That brings us to the big day. Julie and Lee were both there all day long, attending to all of mine and my bridesmaids’ needs. Everything was set up meticulously and beautifully. They both made sure to watch me walk down the aisle and held on to both my dress train and veil to make sure they didn’t blow away on a super windy day. We were then introduced to our Maitre’D for the evening, Mike. Mike was our right hand man for the rest of the day. From bringing us plates of food and champagne in the bridal suite for some alone time after the ceremony, to making sure our band had enough time to play, to keeping us laughing all night long, Mike was absolutely phenomenal. I truly feel like Julie, Lee and Mike are now family. We’ve received endless compliments about how beautiful the venue was, how amazing the food was and how much fun every one had. The icing on the cake was how affordable Ballyowen was compared to other venues we inquired about with less than Ballyowen’s top notch service. If you are thinking about booking Ballyowen as your wedding venue, just know that they will completely exceed all of your expectations!

Our wedding at Crystal Springs’ Black Bear Golf Course was perfect. Planning was so simple and easy, there were so many options for the reception for such a great price. The venue was extremely accommodating to all different food allergies and preferences. The maitre de we had was Kim and she was phenomenal. She made sure my husband and I both ate and had a drink in our hand at all times. People have been contacting us that it was one of the best weddings they’ve been to. We couldn’t be happier with how the whole thing went.

We had a wonderful experience with Crystal Springs Resort/Grand Cascades Lodge for our December 2021 wedding. Our wedding coordinator, Dana Mankin, and Maitre D, Daniel, went ABOVE AND BEYOND to ensure our wedding day was perfect. They really didn't miss a detail, and we felt like royalty the entire day (really the entire wedding weekend). We cannot thank Dana or Daniel enough for their professionalism, kindness and incredible attention to detail!!

There are no words to describe how truly wonderful the staff at Grand Cascades Lodge was for our wedding. From the beginning of our arrival to the very end, they made everything run smoothly and eased my nerves through the process. The staff did an incredible job making our dream wedding come alive. We met Daniel at our rehearsal dinner (which was perfection), and he was there for us until the very end of our wedding. Every little detail was made possible that night because of him. I still get chills as I think back to our wedding night when he came into the cocktail hour to get us the last few minutes so we were able to see the ballroom before any of our guests. I could never thank the staff enough for the hard work that made it all possible. The true magical moment and what I talk about the most from our wedding night is after we saw the ballroom, Daniel brought us back to our cleaned up bridal suite to a table set for 2. Complete with all the cocktail hour foods and champagne. It was a moment I will never forget as he said, now you have 10 minutes together with no interruptions. Enjoy each other. I could never express to Daniel what that meant to me that he did all of this for us. I wish I could list all the ways he made our wedding truly amazing from his extremely fast bustle to keeping a drink in our hand- I couldn’t imagine our perfect wedding without him. I know the entire staff works extremely hard and I hope they know how thankful we are for them. If you are thinking of having your wedding at Crystal Springs Resort, you will not be disappointed. We can’t wait to go back for our anniversary!

I absolutely love this place! Our wedding was at crystal spring golf club in the emerald ballroom. The food was amazing, the views were beautiful, the staff were friendly, but by far one of the best parts was the Maitre D, Daniel! he really made our time at crystal spring and our wedding the most amazing experience of my life. He is friendly, funny, personable and just overall an amazing human being. He made the night so so smoothly - I forgot to put 3 people at tables and he took care of it so quickly, almost like it never happened! My drink was never empty haha and he bustled my dress is like 1 minute. I would have another wedding just to get to experience him again!!!
The venue itself was wonderful — cocktail hour in grand rotunda was beautiful and the spread was ridiculous. More food than I’ve seen in my life. For me and my husband they set up our own private cocktail party in the bridal suite so about 10 min before cocktail hour ended we headed there to eat and relax before the party.
The bridal suite is insane! It’s a full suite with living room, kitchen, bathroom, balcony with fire place, and huge room with vanities to get ready.
The grounds are incredible and there are so many good places to take pictures, rain or shine!
I love that grand cascade is connected to the golf club, that way guests who stay don’t have to go outside to get to the ballroom and back again to their room . The amenities are awesome too— sweet indoor pool so go early if you can! You can have an after party at the pool so extra $$$
We had our rehearsal dinner in the Napa room in the wine cellar — it was private and super fun ! Daniel was also at that helping me out because I had no idea what to do :)
You honestly can’t go wrong with this place — it rained earlier in the day ans we got married inside and it was just as nice as outside! They re did the ballroom — gray and white neutral colors and it looks so much better.
Did I say the food was amazing? Because it was!!
Last thing - we got married on a Friday and I totally recommend because the hotel is leS crowded !

Where else can you get a mini destination feel, GORGEOUS views, phenomenal food, and the most incredible, attentive, and creative staff?? Grand Cascades really had everything we were looking for in a venue and more! We loved that our guests could stay right on site and could continue the party all weekend! Our guests loved their stay and many said they would be back for vacations!

We had originally planned to have our wedding here in July of 2020, but had to postpone to July 2021. The entire process was handled seamlessly through Jean, the head wedding sales manager. She was always there for questions and help throughout the stressful process of having to move our wedding!

We met Laura, our wedding coordinator in March and were extremely impressed with her attention to every detail. Her experience and expertise shown through during our final detail meeting. The day of, she did not disappoint in the slightest! Everything was absolutely perfect and we could not have asked for anything more. She even added special touches to make the day the best it could possibly be!

Throughout the process, we kept hearing about the amazing Daniel, the Maitre D who could bustle even the longest train and paid extremely close attention to every detail. He completely lived up to the hype and more! One of my favorite moments of the day, was when he took my husband and I a little early from cocktail hour to go look at the ballroom before the guests came in. I was absolutely overwhelmed with emotion because everything looked so beautiful and I couldn't believe we were there! Then, he took us to the bridal suite where him and the bridal attendant had set up a special table for us with Champagne and food from the cocktail hour. They gave us 15 minutes alone to just relax and take everything in. This a moment I will cherish forever! During the reception, every time we needed a drink, Daniel was there! My bustle also came undone, and he was there to fix it! There is no way the day would have gone so smoothly without him. We are so grateful to have been able to work with him!

We also had an afterparty at the biosphere pool and it was one of the best decisions ever! We and our guests had a little bit too much fun and it will be something that will stand out in our guests minds forever. It was an absolute blast! What other venue offers an after party at the pool with a waterslide??

If you are thinking about visiting any of the Crystal Springs properties, DO IT! You will not be disappointed, especially at Grand Cascades. :)

I’m unable to edit my wedding date in this review to the correct rescheduled date of 6/6/21, but the Ballyowen venue and grounds are just breathtaking!! We booked them in 2019 for our original June 2020 wedding date and were so grateful for the ease of the booking and covid rescheduling processes. The team members we worked with - Julie Hoffmann, Sarah Mugavero, and Silje Rendine - were so responsive every step of the way and really went out of their way to accommodate every special request or change we made to ensure that our day was perfect. We are so thankful for example that Silje still took us out on the golf cart for photos despite the 95 degree weather on our wedding day! The food was incredible, the staff were wonderful, and the wedding was perfect. The gorgeous sunset at the end of the night was the cherry on top!!

The venue is beyond beautiful and the staff was beyond helpful.

We could not have been happier with our wedding at the Ballyowen Golf Club. Julie made planning our wedding during COVID as stress free as possible and was always available to answer questions. Silje alleviated all of my worries surrounding the final, small details of the day and made sure everything went off without a hitch. Our maitre d, Mark, was absolutely spectacular and took great care of my husband and I throughout the night. Overall, the food and atmosphere were amazing and our family and friends could not stop talking about what a great time they had.

Amazing amazing amazing! I had to change my venue about 30 days out from my wedding to here and from the time I signed my contract to the day we got married they were incredible. Nicole is the wedding sales manager and she handled everything FLAWLESSLY! She is right there every step of the way and had answers to all my questions and if she didn't she got them. Nicole made sure everything went smoothly and kept my feet on the ground lol! Kaya was my bridal attendant the day of and she is the BEST. She was there for me from about 1pm until the end of the night and was completely ontop of everything from bustling my dress to getting me food from cocktail hour, making sure I ate/ had water/ had a drink. Nicole and Kaya made my entire day/night. I can't thank them enough for their services.

I cannot recommend this venue enough. It was stunning and so easy going. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great. I have zero complaints.

We got married at Black Bear Golf Club, part of Crystal Springs Resort. We toured 3 of the whole resorts possible 5 venues, but knew that Black Bear was it. Crystal Springs as a whole was the only venue we looked at and before we left that day, we knew we didn’t need to go anywhere else. The fact that we could get an all-inclusive package, a hotel, and transportation was a no brainer. We loved everything about Black Bear from the gazebo ceremony space, to the open windows throughout the cocktail hour and reception space, and the overall intimacy of it all. We met Julie for the tour and we couldn’t imagine going through the whole process with anyone else. She was amazing, always answering our emails, being willing to follow up with Minerals (the hotel we used), and anything else we threw her way. She was also our coordinator, which originally we were going to be working with Silje, but she went out on maternity leave and we only met her at the food tasting. Which we actually almost missed, but Julie rescheduled another one when a snow/ice storm caused us to not go. Again, she’s amazing! And speaking of food tasting, the FOOD was to die for. We went with three of the four entrees we tried at the tasting, but we truly believe we would’ve been satisfied with any of the choices we would have picked. We still have guests say “those mushroom raviolis were awesome!” We didn’t even get to all of the items I wanted in our cocktail hour because guests were enjoying them so much the kitchen ran out! Kim was our Maitre d’ and she is a rock star! Every time we turned around she was there to see if we needed anything. She made sure we had food from the buffet, drinks always full, and even food and cupcakes to go. She was truly amazing in making sure we were taken care of, even before the reception kicked off and we were just hanging in the bridal suite. Black Bear was the perfect venue for our wedding of almost 150. Julie and Kim provided such a level of service beyond what we could have asked for from start to finish (even when I had to email her days later because we left something behind in the hotel!). Black Bear, Minerals, and any part of Crystal Springs Resort is a place we would highly recommend!

I can't believe it has taken me this long to review Crystal Springs, Grand Cascades Lodge; It was, HANDS DOWN, the best decision of our entire wedding on October 19, 2019. From the very start, the staff at Grand Cascades was incredible. Jean, who helped us book the venue, went above and beyond to accommodate our budget since she knew it was our dream location. Then, when we were handed off to our coordinator, Jessica, I knew we would be in the best hands. Jessica was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we met her, all the way through our wedding night, she made sure every little detail was taken care of so that we didn't have to stress. She went into superhero mode when the ceremony decor was not as I imagined before I had a meltdown, fixing every last detail as if it were her own wedding. She DECORATED OUR CAKE when the florist left it undone. She spent time with me trying to figure out how I could get McDonald's delivered to the venue for when guests left the party -- highly recommend this. She fluffed my gown and fixed my hair because, oh yeah, she also used to be a hairdresser. I mean... could she have been any more perfect!? On top of all of this, Jessica was the kindest, sweetest, most calming presence on our day. I can't say enough about her and the entire staff who was there for our every need. This also includes the bridal attendant and maitre d' who made sure our glasses were never empty, that we ate our (incredible) food, and that we took a moment to enjoy each other and absorb what was happening. They even set up a private room for just the two of us after the ceremony to enjoy our cocktail hour food in a romantic setting! It was like a fairytale! As I said, Grand Cascades Lodge was the best decision we could have made. Even prior to wedding day our guests and bridal party were able to enjoy the amazing spa, the biosphere, and all other amenities they have to offer. The setting was gorgeous (a perfect sunset sky with a mountain backdrop for our ceremony couldn't be topped), the ballroom was breathtaking, the food was phenomenal (people can't stop talking about it), and I know our family will continue to visit Grand Cascades for years to come with beautiful memories behind us. Oh -- and I'm sure most of our guests will be back now, too! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

Let me start by saying my only requirement was to NOT get married at a golf course. Well.... I got married at this golf course and it was freaking gorgeous. Just the drive into the venue is overwhelmingly gorgeous. It looks like Scottish/Irish Landscape and it's even pretty on a cloudy day.

The service was great, but be sure to double check with who will actually be running your event the day of. I thought it would be one woman and then she told me last minute before I walked down the aisle that she was passing off to someone else. That was incredibly stressful for me. She also didn't hand off the wedding bible that I made for the day-of coordinator, so that kind of threw me off. I actually had a migraine my entire wedding day due to this situation and the stress it brought me.

THAT BEING SAID, the person who jumped in was AMAZING. A person fainted during my cocktail hour and he handled that situation so gracefully. My guests were so impressed with the way that Ballyowen staff presented the food and drink. They were not cheap AT ALL and my guests were telling me it was the best wedding they had ever been too.

My newer coordinator also let us have an extra hour due to special cases and was so so so sweet about making sure I was taken care of, bringing me food and drinks personally throughout the day to make sure I ate.

LOVE THIS VENUE.... I wish I could get married all over again just to party here.

Minerals Resort and Spa - My fiance and I were looking for the perfect location for an outdoor, fall wedding. We also wanted somewhere that we can have a full wedding weekend of fun with family and friends without breaking the budget. We absolutely got that at Minerals AND MORE! Nicole and Erika were very helpful throughout the entire planning process. Erika was there to answer any questions I had and help me execute my vision! This venue is very flexible and willing to work with you. On the day of the event, Erika was there to make sure everything was being set up correctly. In addition, I had a bridal attendant and maitre d. Kaya, the wedding attendant, was also very helpful throughout the day! Every single guest had an amazing time! And I am so happy that my wedding will be talked about for years to come.

I am so incredibly happy with my experience working with Ballyowen for our venue! What we loved from the beginning was how everything was included in our wedding package-from open bar, to transportation, to coordinator. I didn't have to think about all the details like table linens or food add-ons. It was incredible. Silje was my coordinator and she was so helpful. She always answered my emails no matter how ridiculous or rapid fire they were. She was there literally every step of the way, including the day of my wedding. She met me in the morning and stayed with me the entire day (in a non-intrusive way) until my wedding began. She walked me to the aisle and handed me off to Luis, the maitre 'd, who was also absolutely phenomenal. Luis made sure that my husband and I were never left wanting *anything*! He served us our appetizers during cocktail hour, made sure our drinks stayed full the entire night, and made sure that we had the BEST time. In all the advice everyone had given me prior to my wedding, the main advice I got was to make sure my husband and I took time to ourselves to enjoy everything and to have some food. Luis and Silje made it so that we didn't even have to think about that!! They did it for us, and with flair. I don't have a single complaint from my wedding day!!

My (now) husband and I were pretty picky with where we wanted our wedding to be. We knew we wanted it to be outside or at an outdoor venue (we got married in June 2019), but we also didn't want our guests having to use a Porta-potty. When we saw the Minerals Hotel pavilion - we knew it fulfilled every single one of our wishes! It's an incredibly beautiful space and Erika and Nicole were SO incredibly helpful throughout the entire process! We were planning things from another state and they were so accommodating and just truly wonderful to work with. I don't know what we would've done without Erika the day of. She helped put out all of our decorations and even saved a few disasters from happening (like when our limo to the church didn't show up). The food was great and everyone of our guests kept on raving about how it was the best wedding they've ever been to. You won't regret choosing the pavilion!

Crystal springs ballyowen was an amazing place for our wedding. From the staff to the views every one of our guests said how amazing the place was and how they were treating amazing by all the staff.

We just had our Wedding on 10.18.19 at Minerals Resort for about 100 Guests, and it was everything I ever dreamed it would be - a lot of that is thanks to the staff at Minerals. We looked at about 20 venues before deciding on Minerals - the gorgeous ceremony and cocktail outdoor venues, the simple yet elegant ballroom, and the value of food/drink for the price is what made our decision. We toured twice with Nicole and booked with her. She is very good at her job and it was a pleasure to work with her. We then had the privilege of working with Erika, our coordinator. I truly cannot say enough about her - friendly, professional, knowledgeable, responsive, thorough, assuring, and kind are just a few. I was stressing because we hired a lot of vendors, had a lot of details, just a lot of moving parts - Erika made sure absolutely everyone and everything were where they should be, when they should be. We have received countless compliments from our guest - best cocktail food ever, best dinner food ever, best bar selection, best wedding ever been to. If I had the choice to do it all over again, I would absolutely have my wedding at Minerals again and I would 100% recommend this venue to anyone and everyone.

I honestly could not imagine having my wedding anywhere else but at Ballyowen Golf Club. From the moment we drove up to check out the venue, we knew that this was the place for us. The scenery alone is unlike anything you will see anywhere else. The day of our wedding was even more beautiful than the first time we saw this venue and I didn’t think that was even possible. Besides how beautiful everything turned out, the staff were so professional and accommodating. Silje our wedding coordinator and Luis our Maitre d’ were the best! They both made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night and took care of anything necessary to make our wedding day as smooth as possible. I couldn’t imagine our wedding at any other venue. It was absolutely breathtaking.

I cannot even put into words how perfect Crystal Springs Resort was for our wedding venue. We had it at Grand Cascades and to say the amenities and service is incredible is an understatement. Our guests raved about the gorgeous location, hotel, and entire wedding weekend. From the first meeting until our last, Jean and Jenna helped with every single detail to make sure it is perfect. Everything here is top notch and the service with our maitre'd and bridal attendant were impeccable. They set up a room for my husband and I during cocktail hour so we can enjoy the food as well. Everything was so well thought out I couldn't have pictured a better wedding weekend. The food was AMAZING! Our guests couldn't get over the food at the cocktail hour and in the Rotunda room. Everything from the dinner to cake to extra dessert stations exceeded my expectations. The hospitality of the staff was something like I have never seen before! I couldn't picture getting married anywhere else. Thank you Crystal Springs for my fairy-tale wedding!

Crystal Springs Resort- Grand Cascades Lodge is absolutely breathtaking. We had our wedding here on 8.24.19 and the staff made us feel like royalty. When we first walked into Ballyowen Golf Club for our tour we thought the place was gorgeous.. and knew it would be the perfect location for our wedding. What we didn’t know at the time was that the service of the staff would entirely surpass our expectations. Silje was AMAZING at dealing with all of my questions and her response time for my emails was at lightning speed. Luis was the best right hand man on our big day. He treated our day as if it was just as important to him as it was to us. Anything issue that popped up along the way was quickly handled and I never had to hear about it! He made sure we ate, even if it mean locking us in the bridal suite and guarding it so we weren’t bothered for 30 minutes. He held a plate of food for me so I could feed myself while I was getting bustled and made sure my champagne glass was always full. The staff of Ballyowen treated us like royalty on our wedding day, and I am soooo happy we decided to have our wedding at this location, just wish we could do it all again!!

We got married on 7/13/2019, at the Pavilion in 85F weather, and it was a big hit. Some of our guests are saying it was the best wedding ever! There were the usual hiccups that happen with any large event - photo booth vendors showing up with the wrong equipment, limo pulling around to the back entrance when we were expected at the front, server dropping a full plate of food - but Minerals staff did not miss a beat. They kept us on track and made the magic happen. I especially appreciated my dedicated "bridal attendant" who helped my bridesmaids with re-pinning my bustle, fetching my purse, putting my bouquet away, etc.
Minerals especially went above & beyond to accommodate our guests with special needs. When they saw a guide dog sitting at the cocktail hour, they brought a dish of cool water for her. When we had to get wheelchairs across a field, golf carts materialized. It couldn't have been a smoother event on their end.

This venue was FANTASTIC! Absolutely beautiful, professional staff, fantastic food, and the space was perfect for our size wedding. Silje was so wonderful and responsive to anything I needed while planning (including about 100 week-of requests and questions), and was MVP when she stepped in to save the day when our florist completely dropped the ball. She made sure every detail was perfect -- from all of the pictures and decor items I brought, our camp-fire s'mores set-up, and our requests for the outside set-up post ceremony. And then there is Luis!!! OMG was he fantastic -- and all of our guests noticed!! He literally did it all. So many little details -- he took care of our groomsmen while we took portraits, he made sure we got to try everything from cocktail hour (he even made sure I ate!!), our drinks were always fresh, he even took care of a sick guest. And the big things -- our buffet style dinner was EXACTLY how we envisioned it, everything was delicious and timely, there was NEVER a wait at the buffet, and my husband and I got to truly enjoy every single second of our reception. The entire day was smooth and our guests had an absolute blast because of how wonderful the staff was at Ballyowen. Cannot thank them enough for the most perfect day!

Oh man- where do I start with Ballyowen and their staff? I begin to tear up just thinking about how perfect our 6/14/19 wedding there was - it was just a magical day! The main reason for that, besides the beautiful location obviously, is the staff: Luis (maitre'd) and Silje (wedding day coordinator) specifically. From the very beginning of the wedding process, both of these individuals did everything they could, answered every annoying question possible, to ensure that we had everything we needed for our big day. They were both extremely responsive and helpful and patient - the perfect mix to my neurotic Plan-A self. My husband and I searched high and low for the perfect venue - not too wedding-factory-like, something rustic and not too over the top, a place that was small enough to be intimate but large enough to be host a big ass party. Balloywen definitely fit the bill - throw in Luis and Silje and there was honestly no place better. On the big day, Silje and Luis wouldn't leave my side - they were constantly checking in with me and my family and the wedding party to make sure we were all good. Anything we needed, they were there. Luis was with us for the majority of the reception - his service was unbeatable. Always making sure my husband and I were eating, that we had a drink. My dress ripped at some point in the night, he found safety pins, brought me to the side to help me fix it so people would stop tripping on it. They both made our night the best day ever and we can never thank them enough. You will absolutely not go wrong having your wedding here - there is no place and no one better!

I normally don't write reviews but when you experience exceptional service you owe it to the staff and venue to recognize each of their efforts that go above and beyond. We had our daughter's wedding in May and we can't say enough about the service and attention we received over our 4 day stay!

Our rooms, events, food and the service were outstanding! Any glitch, no matter how small, especially when I look back now, they were quite small! Each were graciously handled by the entire Grand Cascades team from Jean the Wedding Sales Manager (no pressure sales and always accommodating to the bride and mother of the bride) , Jenna our Wedding Coordinator (attentive to every detail and always cool, calm and highly qualified to address and resolve anything - hope she handles her wedding as well as she did ours), Susan our Concierge (always checking to make sure we had what we needed) and Cheryl at the front desk (who I would stand on line and wait for just so I could deal with her). The grounds are gorgeous, the sunsets magnificent and the rooms and decor all added to making the bride and groom's day very special and memorable. With the staff and the folks I specifically mentioned, it was a fabulous celebration that everyone raved about and will talk about for years to come!

Can't wait to go back for a relaxing weekend just to enjoy all the other activities they have to offer as well!

I got married here this May and it was such a beautiful venue. Two weeks later and I am still getting people complementing me on how the venue looked like it came from a fairytale. Ballyowen is gorgeous whether it's rainy or sunny, and that means a lot in NJ where the weather can be kinda dicey. It rained on my wedding day and felt like I was at a destination wedding in Ireland. The whole staff is very responsive and accommodating to your wants/needs. Louis did an amazing job on the day of my wedding making sure that we did not have to worry about anything. He's seriously a gift from God with how smoothly he had everything running and how well he took care of my husband and I. I truly wish that someone else I know would get married here just so that I can enjoy it as a guest and get to sit back and relax and take it all in because it was truly an amazing experience.

The staff at Crystal Springs didn't miss a detail for my wife and I's big day. Everyone from Noah at the front desk of the hotel, the bell hops, the severs, Jean our contracting POC, Jenna our coordinator, our bridal room attendant, and Mark our Maitre d' did a fantastic and professional job. What really impressed me where the details that Crystal Springs did for my wife and I such as the incredible display of cocktail hour food in our suite and the display in our room when we got back from the reception.

We got married at Ballyowen in October, and we had the most amazing day! The venue is absolutely beautiful, and the seasonal decorations complemented our decor perfectly! The staff, however, are what truly made our day unforgettable. From the beginning, Julie was great in answering all of our questions before booking. Once we booked, Silje took on the role of Wedding Coordinator flawlessly, and she was always available to answer any questions we had while planning. She was always one step ahead of us with logistics for day-of, and it is obvious she knows the venue and how to successfully execute the perfect wedding. The real MVP of our wedding day was Luis, the Maitre D'. He was simply AMAZING and really made sure we were taken care of every step of the way. When our band was stuck in traffic and going to be late for our ceremony, Luis dealt with everything and didn't even tell us until our ceremony was over! He snuck us away during cocktail hour and made sure we got a plate of all of the food we had selected while enjoying some time alone. During the reception, Luis was always available to check-in with all of the guests and make sure we had everything we needed. He made sure we always had a drink in our hand and that we enjoyed every moment of our night. He truly made our wedding a flawless event. The next morning when we went to pick up all of our decorations, he had already gotten everything together and it was all waiting for us! We mentioned how we were having so much fun the night before we hadn't even had a chance to try out our pie bar for dessert... Luis went back in the club house and came back with 3 leftover pies for us to take back home with us!!! He is a true professional at what he does and a huge asset to Ballyowen... with Luis on your side, rest assured your wedding will take off without a hitch! Thank you Julie, Silje, and Luis!!! I had my wedding at the Grand Cascades Lodge at Crystal Springs, and it could not have gone better! My dream wedding and Pinterest board came to life! The employees and staff were so attentive to my needs, and the entire weekend was absolutely seamless!

We had an amazing wedding that our guests cannot stop talking about! Our cocktail hour food was great! And the rotunda room is gorgeous- with beautiful views and stunning decor! Our guests have been raving about that room ever since. The ballroom has beautiful big windows and candelabra chandeliers. My husband had the steak and I had the chicken at our wedding (yes we actually ate at our wedding) and they were both good.
We did an after party and a brunch in the Rotunda room and it was a hit. The guests loved the wings, burgers, fries, and mini pizzas at the after party and the food at the buffet brunch was great.

JEAN initially helped us book our reception and worked very well with my parents. They were very happy working with her on that.

Our wedding coordinator was JENNA and she is the absolute best! She helped me work out all the details! I sent her so many lengthy emails and she answered every one promptly and completely! She was so helpful and truly was a crucial element in making my wedding day so wonderful! I can't thank her enough!

DANIEL was our Maitre D' and he was fantastic!! He definitely made sure our night ran smooth and paid attention to every detail! He made our night so pleasant and we are so grateful! They even set up our own private tasting of our cocktail hour food so that we could enjoy it and have a few moments together and we are so happy they did because that moment was very special to us and allowed us to slow down for a minute and enjoy each other.

There was a hick up in the night with our centerpiece delivery but Jenna and Daniel handled it with ease! it could have been stressful but they made everything happen! and our guests never knew!

TERRY was our bridal attendant and was incredibly sweet and attentive and we are very appreciative to her as well!

JOHN was our bar captain and he was great! The guests loved him and he really kept the bourbon flowing! Our guests loved him!

Our overall experience at cyrstal springs was excellent! We are so glad we had our wedding there! It was truly a great weekend!

Our wedding on 10/6/18 was everything we hoped for. All the staff, from the beginning planning stages to check out after our weekend wedding were accommodating, kind, professional, knowledgeable and the food at the resort is delicious! Everything was absolutely wonderful in every way!

Ballyowen Golf Club and Resort was a beautiful venue to celebrate our wedding. The ease with which the staff, specifically Silje and Julie, communicated and ensured that we understood our contracts and day of arrangements made everything less stressful in wedding planning. The staff for our wedding day were so warm and accommodating, which made our guest feel welcomed and truly comfortable. We loved every moment of being at the resort for our wedding and at Minerals for our stay. Definitely beautiful views captured here!

It was so wonderful working with Jean throughout the whole process. When it was our time to work with Jenna we were so pleased! Jenna did a great job staying in touch with us and responding back super quickly with our 100s of questions. The day/night of the wedding we were taken care of by Jenna and Daniel and they were top notch! Jenna made me feel calm with having it inside due to the rain and I suprisingly wasn’t as upset as I thought I would be with having it indoors. Daniel was an amazing MC!! From making sure I always had a drink in my hand to bustling my dress !!! What!! Yes you read that correctly! All of my bridesmaids were so relieved to not have to figure that out. He did it within 3 minutes and I was ready to party. Amazing staff at crystal springs!!!!! Very impressive.

My husband and I got married at Minerals Resort & Spa in December of 2017. Our wedding was absolutely magical thanks to the staff at this venue. We knew walking into this venue space that this was exactly where we wanted to get married. Both Nicole Saliba and Traci Muniz were outstanding. They helped us at each step of the way plan the most important day of our forever for us and all of our guests. The food at Minerals was so delicious. There was so many options to choose from for cocktail hour and dinner. Minerals is the perfect place to have a wedding since couples are able to have their ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, after party in walking distance of their hotel rooms Our wedding day was magical thanks to the Minerals Resort & Spa staff.

Our guests to this day still comment on how considerate and accommodating he was to everyone, not just my husband and I. We were blown away by how gorgeous this venue was for the get go, and the staff we worked with just made it even better. I loved getting married here and wish we could do it all over again!

My husband and I cannot get over how incredible our wedding was with Crystal Springs Resort (Grand Cascades)! The day went flawlessly and we did not have to worry about a thing. Our coordinator Jenna was very sweet throughout the whole planning process. After our wedding ceremony, my husband and I were brought to a room where a candle lit table was set for the two of us with all of our cocktail hour selections. We really appreciated that! Also, at the end of the night we found a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries in our suite. It's the little things! All of our family and friends were impressed with the venue and the food (seriously, the food was amazing!). We will always look back and remember how magical and perfect our wedding day was.
