Amazing Experience with Crowne Plaza and Erica!!

This review is long overdue. I can’t say enough great things about the Crowne Plaza, Erica Breslin, and her staff. But I will certainly try! From the first time we set foot in the Crowne Plaza and met Erica, we knew we had to have our wedding reception there. Erica is amazing!!! She is personable, capable, thorough, and always exceeded my expectations. She is quick to answer emails and calls and did everything she could to accommodate us. I certainly could not have planned my wedding without Erica’s help. She kept us on track, making sure we were contacting vendors and making other decisions in a timely manner. In addition, all of the vendors that the Crowne Plaza recommended to us were fantastic! It is clear that Erica has sought out the best vendors in the area to work with and developed relationships with them. Everyone at the Crowne Plaza was exceedingly helpful and friendly! Our wedding day was more beautiful and ran more smoothly than I could have imagined. Erica and her team did a fantastic job setting up all of the decorations we brought and coordinating with all the different vendors. I didn’t have to worry about anything!

Wedding 11/2018

Where do I even begin! We had the best experience with this hotel especially with Erica Breslin the Catering Manager/Wedding Specialist. We owe it all to her, she was truly the best. When we began our search for a wedding venue I had called another local hotel in KOP and their catering/wedding specialist was not attentive and didn’t seem to care. Crowne was our second search and it ended there that night we met with Erica. She made EVERYTHING esasy. We asked a lot of questions and she out questioned us! My husband and I worked with her for fifteen months and she was amazing, personable, and accommodating. We had such a wonderful experience with her and we feel so lucky to have signed our wedding with Crowne and their package deals that they offer for a wedding. The staff was amazing every time we had to meet for a wedding meeting. The hotel rooms have been updated with a modern style and are great for “getting ready photos”. We truly had the best wedding there and are so happy with our experience and we were in wonderful hands with Erica.

We got married on 8/5/17 and had our reception at the Crowne Plaza. Erica, our reception coordinator at the Crowne Plaza, was absolutely wonderful to work with! I lived out of state when I was planning our wedding but she made every effort to accommodate me for in-person meetings when I was in town visiting my then-fiancé! She made wedding planning a breeze by breaking down each component of what needed to be done into manageable steps. During the week of the wedding, the staff at the Crowne Plaza were extremely friendly and helpful which helped me feel completely at ease right up to the wedding. The staff also made sure that I had everything my bridesmaids and I needed to get ready. The staff at the Crowne Plaza also worked with our vendors to ensure that everything went smoothly during the reception. I highly recommend the Crowne Plaza to anyone looking for a place to host their wedding!

When looking for a place to have a wedding look no further because we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. We met our coordinator Erica Breslin who gave us exactly what we wanted. She was helpful and most of all took the weight off our shoulders with the stress of planning a wedding. She runs a tight staff and knows what she is doing. The Crown Plaza offered us exactly what we needed. The food, the service, and the facility is amazing. We had the best memorable evening we could have asked for and thanks again Erica for helping us make that happen. Danielle and Ryan.

My husband and I had our wedding reception here! Erica and the entire Crowne Plaza staff made our party exactly what we wanted! Erica is such a kind and professional wedding coordinator and was available every step of the way. We told her what we wanted and she executed. The Crown Plaza in King of Prussia was the perfect location for our New Year's Eve Wedding! Professional, attentive, accommodating and just perfect! Food, recommended photographer, florist and make up artist were absolutely the best! Erica Breslin is fantastic from beginning to end!

We are thrilled that we chose the Crowne Plaza for our wedding reception! This was literally the first venue we went to look at, and once we met with Erica Breslin, our decision was made. From our initial meeting, it was clear that Erica is not only amazing at what she does, but that she truly cares about her couples. I loved the packages they had available, and they honestly made planning the reception so easy! During my experience, I not only felt like I had someone in my corner, answering all of my questions, I felt like I made a friend. Erica and the rest of the staff (shout out to Kelly, who handles the block room reservations – she was awesome!) made sure that we had everything we wanted and more. There were so many little details that I didn’t think of, but Erica did, and made sure to help me every step of the way. Erica was such a pleasure to work with, went above and beyond for us, and I honestly cannot recommend her and the Crowne Plaza enough!

We are so incredibly happy with our experience at the Crowne Plaza!! From the first consult all the way through to the breakfast after the reception the Crowne Plaza staff made our wedding experience perfect. Erica Breslin is a wedding planning wizard. She is extremely easy to work with and clearly genuinely cares about each event she runs. It wasn't just Erica though, literally every staff member from the front desk to the servers and the bartenders was incredibly friendly and professional. The Crowne Plaza had everything we were looking for at a price much more reasonable than we ever could have hoped. And the food was absolutely amazing! Our guests only had amazing things to say about their dinner and their interactions with the Crowne Plaza staff. I would highly recommend reaching out to the Crowne Plaza if you're looking for a wedding venue. We are so thankful that we did as Erica and the Crowne Plaza team made our day simply magical from start to finish.

We couldn't be happier with our experience at the Crowne Plaza. We had our reception there on April 29, 2017. Erica Breslin was amazing. She took care of everything we needed- nothing was too big or small for her to help us with. The staff was excellent. From the moment we checked in, everyone was welcoming and accommodating. The service at the reception was wonderful. The food was absolutely delicious. People remarked how amazing the cocktail hour was and that there was so much good food, it was almost like we served two dinners. We would highly recommend the Crowne Plaza to anyone for their wedding reception. Erica will help you through everything you need and make it a stress-free experience.

Erica Breslin and her team did a fantastic job putting together our wedding reception. We had around 235 guest and all of them said what a wonderful time they had. The food, service and accommodations are all top notch. I can think of nothing they could have done better.

We couldn't be happier we chose to have our reception here last weekend. Erica is an absolute pro, and from the beginning of the planning process we knew she would make things easy for us. For the last year and a half, and especially the night of the reception, she and her staff kept things running smoothly so we didn't have to worry about anything. We shopped around a ton before deciding to choose this venue, and now that everything is done we feel it's an excellent value for the cost- really a steal. Guests were raving about the food, especially the hors d'oeuvres, and the room looked beautiful. Even beforehand, every time we walked into the hotel to meet with Erica, the hotel staff was so friendly and we felt like VIPs. I can't say enough good things about the experience here.

My husband and I could not be more thrilled with the service we received from the staff at the Crowne Plaza the night of our wedding and throughout the planning process. Our main contact was Erica Goddard Breslin, and she was amazing! She answered every email and phone call in a timely manner, even when she was out of the office! Erica made the planning process so easy, and gave suggestions where we asked. She was great working with our vendors as well as the vendors supplied by the hotel as part of the package. Any time an issue arose, there were very few, Erica was right on top of it asking what she could do to help. We genuinely felt like Erica cared about our wedding, and wanted us to be 100% satisfied. The night of our wedding, Erica also had another wedding taking place at the same time. You would have never known, because she had everything under control and was available throughout the night any time we needed something. The staff the night of the wedding was outstanding. From the bartenders, the maître d, the servers, the coat check, and the front desk personnel. Everyone who attended our wedding had a great time, the food was amazing, and we did not receive any complaints from our guests. We would highly recommend this venue, and in particular recommend working with Erica if you are looking for a stress free planning process.

When Ray and I started looking for an all-in-one wedding venue for the ceremony, reception, after party and on-site hotel, we had several options. With us both growing up in the restaurant business and having experienced working weddings, we had very high standards. We knew that we wanted real food and not the standard “wedding food”, high-energy bartenders that are not only fast, but had personality and fabulous music to get everyone out of the dance floor.

What we didn’t expect was that we would fall in love with Erica (Goddard) Breslin. Erica is the wedding coordinator for the Crowne Plaza of King of Prussia. From the moment we met her, our search for a wedding venue was over. She was professional, personable, organized and we knew that she would make our wedding dreams come true. However, she far exceeded our expectations. Erica walked us through every step and took care of every little detail. She was not just a coordinator; she was more like the Fairly Godmother of Wedding Planners. When people would ask Ray & I if we were stressing over the wedding planner and all of the details, we always chuckled and said NO. We were never stressed because we had a secret weapon in Erica (Goddard) Breslin. She made our wedding dreams come true. While Ray & I were busy with living life, work and enjoying our year of being engaged, Erica was always keeping us in mind, handling all that she had to do seamlessly.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Erica and the rest of the staff at the Crowne for our Sunday "Brunch" style reception. Our event wasn't the typical wedding with a large bridal party, etc. Our bridal party consisted of our three children. Needless to say, our day focused around blending a family and embracing the children that complete our family. Therefore, we had included all of our extended families and their children to celebrate with us as well. We ended up with over 20 kids at the wedding. I couldn't have been more pleased with the way Erica and the staff at the Crowne welcomed the kids. They all truly felt like an important part of the day!
From the moment I met Erica I was beyond impressed. During our conversations I felt like I was talking to a good friend that I've known for years. Not only was she knowledgeable, she was helpful and genuinely interested in every part of the process. This coming from someone who is a corporate meeting planner - says something! She is truly top notch and I'll always be so grateful that I had her by my side!
Our guests raved about the quality of the food and service as well! It was all around the perfect choice for our special day! We were extremely pleased with our entire experience at the Crowne! I would absolutely recommend giving the Crowne and Erica a chance to host your big day! Although I should warn you - once you meet Erica, you will be hooked!

Erica and the Crowne Plaza team made our wedding night the most perfect night ever. Erica was extremely easy to contact and very flexible with last minute changes. She is hands down one of the best event planners I've ever had the pleasure to work with. The Crowne Plaza team used all our home-made decorations to turn the whole room into a wonderland- hanging things from the air vents and lining the floor with ivy, decorations on the tables.... I really couldn't have done it better myself. Everyone worked together so well that the night went amazingly smooth. Our guests had no idea that our wedding was actually a "budget" wedding... the staff made it look that good! It was easily the best night of our lives, and I highly recommend the venue and the people working here!

Meet with Erica Goddard at the Crowne Plaza! There will be no other reason to look any further. We had arranged for a private wedding planner, who then moved away. Erica helped us with everything, going far beyond her duties as an employee at the hotel. She answered any questions (and we have many!) promptly, and she accommodated us as much as possible. We spent so much time with her, she practically became part of the family. Erica was amazingly organized and essentially held our hands through each step of the process, from booking the right room, to choosing the meal, to recommending vendors, to keeping us on schedule on wedding day. The price is fair; the food was delicious; the ceremony and reception were perfect. Our guests, nearly a month later, are still telling us how much fun they had. There is simply no other venue in the area worth using.

To start off, Erica Goddard is phenomenal!!! My husband and I recently had both our ceremony and reception at the Crowne Plaza and it was above any expectation that we had. When we met Erica we knew she would be great, she's super laid back and casual, extremely organized and is so, so helpful. By the time our wedding was over, Erica was more than our wedding planner, she became our friend.

Everything from beginning to end was taken care of to the very last detail. Our ceremony space was great and easy for guest to move in and out of. Cocktail hour was even better, plenty of space for 150 guest to maneuver and mingle with one another. The staff transformed our ceremony space into the reception space while we were in cocktail hour and it looked awesome. We received so many compliments on how the ceremony and reception space looked. The food was delicious, plenty of food for both the cocktail hour and dinner. Guest definitely will not go home hungry. We highly recommend the fajita station for cocktail hour :)

The day of the wedding, my bridal party got ready in a room downstairs. Erica made sure we were all set the night before and had everything we needed. Throughout the day she checked on us and made sure we were all set. It was so nice to have no stress that day.

If we could redo the entire day, my husband and I would hands down do everything at the Crowne Plaza again. There was not a single detail of our whole planning process that we could complain about with Erica and the Crowne Plaza. I highly suggest and recommend this venue to anyone looking to have their wedding in one location. Erica is a true professional and will do everything she can to make sure you have the most perfect day.

Our wedding ceremony and reception was held at the Crowne Plaza King of Prussia. Both my husband and I have busy work schedules and planned the wedding in 6 months. Working with Erica Goddard made the whole process easy and enjoyable. Erica was always so responsive and accommodating with every detail. I really enjoyed working with her. The packages offered were inclusive so it was fun to work with their vendors for the cake and flowers arrangements. The ballroom was beautiful. We had a our ceremony in one half of it. During the cocktail hour,the hotel staff turned the entire room over to a gorgeous ballroom with dance floor and tables. It was incredible to see the transformation in record time. Our guests raved about the food,and everyone felt well taken care of during the event. We had an out of town guest who fell ill and Erica made sure they were accommodated in their sleeping room. The hotel itself is very nice and reasonably priced. Our guests loved their rooms- shower in bathrooms are awesome and the beds are very comfy. As someone who travels often for work, I can very much appreciate these in a hotel. My husband and I felt like royalty on our day. :) Our wedding day was so special and the Crowne Plaza was a big part of the magical experience. Thank you!

I can't say enough fabulous things about the Crowne Plaza! When looking at venues we had them in our final two and as soon as we met the wedding coordinator, Erica Goddard, we never even thought about the other place! She was awesome from the moment we met with her and continued to be one of the best parts of the experience for the next months of planning. The venue was flexible with options and really helped us to have the perfect day! We had a very large group staying at the hotel and everyone was extremely accommodating in absolutely every aspect! Again, I have nothing but fabulous things to say!

The Crowne Plaza Valley Forge is an amazing place to use for your wedding. My wife and I had our reception there and we loved it! We visited 2 other places that were alright but when we arrived there and met our very helpful planner Erica Goddard, we were enthralled. Our guests loved it, the setting is very beautiful and the food was great and it was affordable which in King of Prussia I would not think. This is a place to consider.

After searching for Reception venues and walking into The Crowne Plaza at valley Forge, I was excited too see that there was someone who seemed very interested in what my wife and I wanted and she was very detailed and organized. The name of .that Lady is Ms. Erica Goddard. she is top notch professional, makes you feel comfortable and works extremely hard. I also had a few out of town guest from The Bahamas and they all were given a special rate at the Crowne Plaza because we held our event there. The Crowne plaza not only provide good service but if you are having trouble finding other vendors such as; a DJ, Photographer or a Bakery, they can help you with that as well. The food is delicious. My guest were very happy with everything. The front desk staff was also amazing in organizing rooms for my guest. Everything was up to standard. If I could do it all over again, The Crowne Plaza at Valley forge would be my number one choice. 5 Stars.

We were extremely pleased with the wedding reception we had at the Crowne Plaza. From coordinating blocks of rooms in the hotel to the actual night, everything was seamless. We chose the Crowne Plaza because of the beautiful ballroom and everything that was included in the package. We felt like everything was such a good value. It was so nice to have a coordinator for the day too whom we had worked with before the event to make sure everything was the way we wanted it. Laura made sure that everything was covered from centerpieces to the cake and the schedule for the day of. I know I had nothing to worry about and felt so relaxed and calm on the wedding day. We loved how beautiful the ballroom was (we didn't even need to add any extra decorations); the blue uplighting was PERFECT! Would definitely recommend this as a venue, especially for someone who wants a coordinator built in to take care of the little details!!

I was married on 12/1/12 and had my wedding reception at the Crowne Plaza. Erica Goddard was my wedding planner and she did an exceptional job! She made the year leading up to my wedding day very less stressful & a lot more fun then I planned on it being. She literally took care of EVERYTHING that i needed & when I walked into the ballroom on my wedding day it was absolutely beautiful! The food was delicious, and I am still hearing from people on how delicious the food was and how big the portion sizes were! We had about 50 rooms booked with the Crowne Plaza and the next morning my parents treated everyone to a breakfast buffet down in "Stirling's" and it was delicious with a lot of choices of food for our guests to eat.
I can look back and honestly say that my wedding day went PERFECT. There was not one problem. To my surprise, I wanted a snowflake ice sculpture and Erica told me that they wouldn't be able to make it the way I wanted it. When I walked into the ballroom and saw my snowflake ice sculpture exactly the way I wanted it, I did not believe my eyes! Erica Goddard, I cannot thank you ENOUGH! Thank you for making my wedding day perfect! If anyone is searching for a reception venue, check out the Crowne Plaza because they do an exceptional job at a reasonable price! Thanks again!

I had my wedding Oct. 6, 2012 and absolutely everything about this venue was perfect. Erica is the wedding coordinator and she was so helpful, personable, and efficient that I felt no need to use an outside wedding planner. There was nothing but great comments from our guests about the reception, food, wait staff, and hotel in general. I would highly recommend having your reception at the crowne plaza in valley forge. I couldn't imagine having my wedding anywhere else.

We had the most amazing wedding at the Crowne!!! With Laura Kollosh as our wedding planner, we couldn't go wrong. The food was amazing!!! The room was beautiful!! All of the details of our wedding were there and couldn't have been any better! The service was excellent from the bartenders to the server to the most amazing maitre d, Sherwin. Laura made sure that we didn't have to worry about anything on our wedding day. People are still talking about how amazing it was. If you are getting married in the area, you have to look at the Crowne Plaza in KOP as your first choice. Thank you guys again!!

I chose to have my wedding reception at the Crowne Plaza Valley Forge. Initially I chose this venue because the room was spacious had high ceilings and had potential to be beautiful, everything that was included in the price was very impressive and it was a lot more for my money than other venues. The Wedding Specialist, Erica Goddard, was very nice and easy going. She was friendly and appeared easy to work with. So we booked the Crowne Plaza.

I was planning my wedding from out of state. I worked with Erica up until the day of the wedding and she responded to all emails quickly and was just so competent and easy to work with. Pretty much anything I requested I was given. What I was working toward was having everything completed the Thursday before the wedding so that I could be free to trust that the Crowne Plaza would take care of what we had hired them for and I could just relax and enjoy my wedding weekend.

WOW!!! My wedding at the Crowne Plaza exceeded my expectations. The Crowne Plaza provided me and my bridal party and the mothers a conference room to get ready in. We had lunch there and everyone got their hair and makeup done and got dressed there. The room was spacious and we were able to enjoy our time together and we were not crowded. It was really an added perk that helped make the day much more memorable!

When I walked into the ballroom it took my breath away. The Ballroom was PERFECTION!!! It looked like a fairy tale wedding! From the uplighting( we had amber), to the centerpieces( which matched the bouquets), to the Ice sculpture( which was exactly what I asked for), the chair covers, the votives on all of the tables, the gift table( which they had decorated with the girls bouquets), the candy table( which I did but they set up), the seating chart table....It was just incredible!

When I walked into the cocktail hour Erica met me with a drink and to see if there was anything that I needed. All of the guests were raving about the appetizers. I was very busy but I tried the coconut chicken and it was delicious, the beef wellington and spring rolls were also delicious! When My husband and I walked around to talk to our guests once in the ballroom everyone could not stop talking about how good the food was and how full they were because there was just so much food! I was truly impressed!

The Maitre D' Michelle and the Bartender Jose were constantly checking up on my husband and I and making sure we had everything that we needed. They were so sweet! The rest of the staff really did their jobs well and made the evening run smoothly.

We also added a midnight snack of Philly Cheesesteaks which was great!

I highly recommend this venue! I really had an amazing experience and I'm just so happy that I chose to have my wedding at the Crowne Plaza Valley Forge. Erica was really amazing and knows what she is doing.

All of my family and friends continue to rave about how beautiful the wedding and how good the food was that night and how it was just a really fun wedding!

My fiance and I had a wonderful time working with Erica and the staff at Crowne Plaza VF. They handled everything day of and Erica was super easy to work with. I would recommend this reception hall in a heart beat!

Erica was amazing!! I would love to do my wedding weekend after weekend, it was that amazing!! Everything was perfect in the ballroom and cocktail hour. The year+ leading up to our wedding was less stressful thanks to erica and her staff. The food was great and people have been talking about our wedding still... weeks after our wedding! They have so many options and are willing to adjust things to fit just what you want!! I would recommend it as a venue to anyone!

Erica & her staff were amazing! Every little detail was perfect! Accomodated comfortably our 200 guests. Food/Service was wonderful! The price could not be beat! Everything included (cake, centerpieces, chair covers, ice scuplture).

The Crowne Plaza VF provided excellent service and a reasonable cost. The area is great, the staff is professional and helpful, hotel is newly renovated and clean. This was a great place for my reception. The only thing I did not like were the blue color chairs in the ballrooms. They should upgrade to a more neutral color.

We had our wedding reception at the Crowne Plaza Valley Forge July 3, 2016. We worked with Erica Goddard for about a year and a half. We knew the first night we met her that this was the place for us! She was pleasant and helpful from the start. She made the process easy and worked with us to make our day perfect. The night of the reception Erica really took care of us and then Brian took over. Brian was awesome! He took care of us during the reception and exceeded our expectations! Our guests commented on how wonderful everything was and raved about their meals. Thank you for being a part of our special day.

I had my wedding here. Everything leading up to the actual wedding, was very nice (the taste testing, prices, reviewing and planning linens etc.). That is where it ended.

While everyone there was very respectful, many things went wrong on our day.

The first is the bar they promise. It is part of the wedding packages and claims to include a lot of brand name beers and liquors. This was not the case. They had bottom shelf- make you sick after one sip- liquors. The excuse they gave for this was "the bartender was new and didn't know". We received no compensation at all.

The wedding coordinator that I worked with for the year leading up to it, was not available for our day (we found this out a few months before the date). The "day of" coordinator was nice, but did not know how to set up a wedding very nicely, so therefore all of our centerpieces and decorations looked like someone just threw them on top of the table.

Again, this may be a little picky, but not when you are paying $20,000.

I would recommend this venue, just have someone you trust be on their backs the day of, otherwise they will take advantage of the situation.

A plus was the food was very good and many guests complimented it.
