Every question we had was answered quickly, and all of our (sometimes last-minute!) requests were handled with such flexibility and care. Your team was incredibly hands-on and truly committed to making sure everything was set up just the way we envisioned. It really felt like everyone was there to support us, and that made a huge difference in our experience. That same level of care and support was felt throughout the entire event, and it gave us so much peace of mind to know we were in such good hands! (My whole family felt the support)♥️

We had the most amazing experience with the Crowne Plaza (worked mostly with Nicolette who was exceptional). We had our wedding reception in the Marco Polo room, Nicolette really helped us create just what we wanted within our budget. It turned out lovely, the staff was amazing on the day of but also so kind and accommodating every time I went in leading up to the event. The food was excellent (we did the fiesta buffet). Everybody loved it and it had options for any food sensitivities. Highly recommend. We had 85 people and it felt like plenty of space. 10/10 service.

Nicolette Chan is an exceptional catering sales manager. I have contacted over 30 venues for my event with 100 guests. Nicolette is by far the most responsive and organized person. Her attention to detail and the timely completion of the quotes and contract were truly commendable. Nicolette provided helpful advice and suggestions regarding the event space and catering. She let me know all the important information regarding the room, food and beverage.

My mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and I came to see the space. Nicolette's expertise and dedication to delivering outstanding service impressed all us. She was extremely attentive and listened to all our concerns with a great deal of patience. She has a caring approach and she is a true professional. We chose Crowne Plaza Foster City for the party because of Nicolette. I highly recommend hosting your event at Crowne Plaza of Foster City.

Reyna was super helpful and answered all my questions (there were a lot!). They made sure our guests got their care packages - everything was great!

I am happy we chose the Crowne Plaza Foster City to host our wedding reception and serve as our guest hotel. They were very courteous, accommodating, generous, easy going, professional, and made us very comfortable and above all, flexible to all types of last minute requests. My guests have not stopped raving about the location, amenities, food and service. They help make our wedding special!

We booked a room block and had our honeymoon at Crowne Plaza Foster City and everything went really great! The staff was fantastic and the rooms were nice. After our wedding we had a great time at the Clubhouse Bistro with many of our guests. The music was good and it was a lot of fun. In the morning we ordered room service which was a great way to end our wedding night.

Our stay at the crowne plaza was perfect. The suite looked great for taking photos and videos. It was quiet at night unike many other hotels we have stayed in. All the staff were extremely helpful and kind to us. The breakfast in the morning was very good as well.

We had our wedding on January 6th and we couldn't have asked for a better location and team. The staff from our wonderful Catering Manager (Pamela), amazing Sales Manager (Reyna, all the way to our Banquet staff was just so amazing. Everyone had a part in making our special day the best day ever! Thank you Crowne Plaza Foster City..you will forever be part of our family.

Kasia has been amazing to work with and super accommodating and flexible. She's very professional and has a ton of experience on her plate. She also didn't put too much pressure on us and gave us the facts and the best value out of all the other hotels we were looking at. We're very excited to have our wedding here!

We got an amazing suite for our wedding night! The staff was so friendly and helpful....the breakfast buffet was yummy too!

Kasia was great. She made planning our own wedding that much easier. She is very easy to talk with. After researching places for our wedding, she was the first one to contact me. I'm a firm believer in first impressions and I'm glad to shoose her site for our reception. The only thing I noticed that our table arrangements were not planned as we wanted them, but that was very minor since everybody moves from table to table anyway. Thank you Kasia for making our wedding reception great!!

We had an amazing experience hosting our wedding reception at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Foster City! The dinner service was absolutely 5-star—our guests were so impressed by the fast, attentive service. The banquet captains and staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and their friendly, professional demeanor made the evening even more special.

The bridal suite, which was included in the wedding package, was really spacious, making it so much easier for our large bridal party to get ready together without feeling cramped. It was a perfect, relaxing space before the big event!

A special thank you to the team for offering us even more space a couple of weeks before the wedding when they realized the banquet room next door wasn’t booked. They also added a bigger dance floor, which made dancing and mingling with our guests even more enjoyable.

It was also a really nice touch to come back to our suite after the wedding and find wine and chocolate-covered strawberries with a thoughtful card from the hotel. It made the end of our beautiful day even more special.

One negative comment that we received from our guests was that appetizers during the cocktail hour ran short and not everyone could try the apps. 3 types of appetizers were included in our package to be served during the cocktail hour.

We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our reception. The Crowne Plaza Hotel - Foster City did a great job, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, hassle-free wedding venue!

The Uptown Ballroom is a small hidden venue in Sacramento, CA. From the outside, it doesn't look like much...but inside...is a whole different story. When I first began to work on my wedding, I wasn't happy with the service. But then a new Manager joined the team, Maria. And she is the BEST! She made my Reception stress-free from beginning to end. She was professional, courteous, compassionate, understanding...etc. etc. She took something that could have been a stressful event, and made it one of the funest weddings I've ever attended!! All of our guests had an amazing time. She also provided our catering, and the food was DELICIOUS! I would highly recommend Maria of the Uptown Ballroom in Sacramento any time. But only if Marie is there.

Loved the rooms & our stay, but there were many hiccups in planning. We had to clarify and correct the guest head count numerous times. And the time change for our group breakfast was not communicated internally between staff which caused confusion on the day-of. We enjoyed the hotel's night club for our after-party. And the location was perfect for our shuttle service to/from our wedding venue.

My husband and I got married at the Crowne Plaza in March and overall everything turned out absolutely amazing. Planning a wedding can be stressful but Pamela and Reyna really helped make our day a day to remember. They both are so kind and will go out of there way for you. The day of the wedding, the service was beyond excellent and accommodating, the food was fantastic and plentiful, and the venue was beautiful and spacious. We had almost 300 people at our wedding which fits 3 of the 4 rooms of the hall, but Pamela was sweet enough to give us the 4th room so we can have a huge dance floor as well as having our guests feel more comfortable.

Areas for improvement- We booked the Crowne Plaza a year before our wedding and there was a lack of response up until a couple months before March. It all worked out in the end but me and my husband are planners so it made things a little difficult. Also day of the wedding, I was told my bridal suite would be ready by 9am and it wasn't until 11am.
All in all, our sincerest thanks to the Crowne Plaza staff.

We used CP for our wedding reception. We worked with Kasia who was flexible with what we wanted. There was a lack of response at times and she forgot some details but me and the wedding coordinator I had stayed on top of things so that it ran pretty smoothly the night of. The food was pretty good - everyone loved the salmon, the chicken was a little dry for some but I think it's hard to cook for that many people. The veggie plate was good too. We did the wedding package and the cake was delicious and the florist that came with the package did a beautiful job. CP is a more affordable option in the bay area and they recently remodeled the hotel so everything looked super nice. The one tricky part was there was another event next to ours and the only time an issue came up was during the cocktail hour, some of them came over to our side and ate the food! The mother of the groom regulated that, but we were told it wouldn't be a problem - and it was. Overall, everyone and a great time and it ran smoothly, but there was some hiccups that could have been prevented.

There were a lot of hiccups and lack of response from the "catering manager" the year leading up to my wedding. The price was reasonable otherwise I would have chosen another venue. The ceremony rooms they have are quite outdated as well as their Marco Polo room. We had our ceremony then the hour cocktail service which wasn't set up as ready to go when my ceremony was over, so we had 60+ guests waiting around wondering what to do and bothering us while we tried to take our photos. They were unprofessional in this area, I also finally finished my photos close to the ed of the cocktail hour and was dying for a glass of wine to ease my nerves etc, was told no we are closed as I stood there in my wedding dress asking for ONE glass of wine! Thankfully one of my guests came to my rescue and helped me convince the bartender to get the bride a glass of wine. My "bridal suite" was far from one I was given the impression I talking about how great of a bridal suite was in the package I chose, I had high expectations! It was very small, unaccommodating for a bridal party of FOUR. There was a small bathroom, again not best for a bride getting her hair and makeup done there, not even a microwave in the room. I thought there would have been a large bathtub as well!
The packages were somewhat reasonable but the you end up getting charged a %20 service fee and 9.25% tax on EVERYTHING that it then becomes way more expensive than what you were originally sold on. I would suggest the CP foster city for a bride on a budget for sure but if you can afford more and expect a more classier wedding, and would like to be treated like a bride and groom I'd look elsewhere.

So this hotel...needs a lot of work. They have communication problems up the wazoo and messed up our big deal almost from start to end.

Their accounting department can't account and had mistakes or were late taking payments from the get go aside from the very first payment.

Their departments don't seem to communicate so then despite what was on our banquet event order, they missed 90% of the instructions.

In turn, our event ran late and the cake we had mainly went to waste. They didn't set up wine bottles from their own wedding package. Their wedding package was also supposed to come with a free bottle of champagne/cider and chocolate dipped strawberries for the room. That was never given.

Napkins weren't ready as guaranteed to my planner, room wasn't ready when it needed to be ready.

The only reason I have it as one star is because at least the manager of the events department refunded us $3600+ with gift certificates. But definitely caution when using this venue.

Until their communication problems are fixed,
I'd avoid this location. Weddings are supposed to be special. They sure know how to make a mess of one.
