We booked the property and all the houses sight-unseen for our April 2022 wedding.
We knew there was a 50/50 chance that it could pour all weekend but we were blessed with clear skies and absolutely perfect weather. Kathleen and family were communicative, professional and kind throughout the process. When one of the rental houses fell through for reasons beyond her control, Kathleen gave us heaters and lawn games at no extra cost.
We stayed from Thursday- Monday and had all houses booked from Thursday-Sunday. There was nothing better than waking up and being steps away from all our closest friends and family. Everyone staying in the houses could not stop gushing about how spectacular they were and how comfortable the beds were. Having the space and opportunity to make a weekend-long event for all of our guests was priceless. With so many different options (beach for a bonfire/welcome dinner, yoga on the lawn near the Headland House, and the ceremony/reception on the main lawn), each day allowed for a new experience.
Thank you Kathleen and all of the amazing vendors who made our wedding the best weekend we could have asked for. We look forward to visiting Crook Point again and again! -

Oregon elopement
My husband and I knew we wanted to get eloped but the question was where ? We both always thought Ireland was beautiful but with Covid we didn’t think it would be a good option. I then googled places in the US that look like Ireland and Crook Point popped up. Crook Point is absolutely stunning. We could have not chose a better place. We stayed in the look out cabin which is a dream. I did not want to leave and hope to return one day. I highly recommend Crook Point the whole process was easy and communication was great. -

My husband and I loved working with Crook Point and Kathleen from the moment we first met her in our interest meeting. She was accommodating, answered all our questions, and was incredibly thorough. Crook Point is a stunning venue which amazed all of my friends and family from out of town. The Arch Rock Main Lawn is nestled in a cove of towering evergreen trees, with the ceremony space overlooking Arch Rock on the Pacific Ocean, providing for multiple gorgeous photo opportunities. I am so grateful we found Crook Point-- our day was perfect. -

Crook Point is the definition of coastal perfection. It is picturesque, romantic and well laid out, a lovely combination for your wedding celebration. The ceremony and reception sites sit right on the bluff overlooking the famous Oregon coast Arch Rock, what a dream. There are several homes on the property, keeping everyone close and included for your special weekend. The management is quick and responsive! We loved coordinating a wedding at Crook Point and we look forward to bringing more couples here in the future! -

Byrdies Beach house
The overall experience I had staying at Byrdies Beach House was more than I dreamed of. The support and comfort truly makes you feel like you are living a dream! My wedding week was the most amazing experience and I wish I could go back and relive it over again. Kathleen and her team are wonderful and make your stay so effortless and accommodating.
I will always be thankful for the time I had and the memories I’ll never forget!

I stumbled across photos of Crook Point a couple of years ago on Pinterest and feel in love with the venue immediately. Fast-forward to when we got engaged and I suggested that we look at Crook Point for our venue. We didn't need to look at any other place after that because it was perfect for us. This property is run by a family that have owned this land for over a hundred years. They have preserved an incredible coastline and we got to rent it out for a weekend. I don't know of any other place that has that kind of value for money on the coast. Our whole wedding party stayed in their incredible vacation homes and we were able to spend a lot of time together that way. The property is under some renovations that will make things even easier for events, which I think will make the experience even better for future couples. The venue suited our needs really well though, because they basically leave it to us and we can make a lot of decisions ourselves (for example: many venues might restrict who can contract with, but they were very flexible with us).
You honestly won't find views as incredible as Crook Point, with the amenities that it offers and at that price, so go ahead and book them before someone else does. It fills up really quick! -

If you were looking for a fairytale wedding location congratulations, you found it. You can look around more, I guess, but you’re just not going to find anywhere this perfect.
I truly cannot speak higher of Crook Point: the staff, the location, the weather—absolutely perfect.
Ideally we’ll just get remarried here every year…? -

When we began our search for wedding venues, we knew we wanted to find an outdoor space surrounded by natural beauty. When we found Crook Point, it took our breath away with the ocean views and intimate forested location! We knew this was the spot. You truly can't beat the views, and all our guests were amazed by the location!
Kathleen was amazing to work with throughout the entire process. She was always so responsive and supportive, and was extremely helpful in recommending local vendors to work with. Our weekend experience was magical. This place will capture your hearts! -

This venue is the perfect blend of beach/coastal and tall, dreamy forest. Working with Kathleen was so easy. She is professional, friendly, and makes sure to cover all the bases! I didn't know that the on-site restrooms came with an attendant and that was a delight! I would highly recommend this venue. It is worth every penny! Go easy on the decor...it is not needed :) -

We chose Crook Point for our wedding solely based on pictures (Since we didn't live nearby). It more than exceeded our expectations. As a venue it was beautiful, breathtaking, and brilliant.
Our wedding was on the main lawn, which has a view of Arch Rock. We also wanted pictures on a beach, and we were able to use the beach that was accessible through the rental homes.
One thing to note: All of our vendors required a travel fee because of the distance and some also charged extra due to an overnight stay. This is something to keep in the back of your mind, but Crook Point is well worth it. All of the vendors had great things to say about their interactions with the space. Crook Point provided a tent for the vendors and plenty of parking space.
The Crook's were easy to work with and flexible to our desires. If you are looking for a venue on the Oregon Coast, we would highly recommend Crook Point.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with our wedding at Crook Point! If you've already seen pictures of the venue, then I don't need to sell you on that. If you haven't, I'll just say that more than one wedding guest said that it was the most beautiful wedding location they had ever been to (or expected to ever go to in the future). Absolutely stunning.
What pictures won't tell you is how incredible the owners and staff are. Kathleen, Avigail, and the rest of the team were truly outstanding. They helped us navigate not one, but two rounds of wedding planning (thank you Covid). They were flexible and kind as we eagerly waited to see how Covid would shake out up until the wedding. As a newer venue, we enjoyed a lot of creative freedom with how we wanted the weekend to look and feel. Crook Point was always willing to brainstorm ideas and solutions to make all of our wedding dreams come true. Avagail, the onsite day-of coordinator saved our wedding several times. When the florist told us the day before the wedding that the flowers just hadn't come in, Avagail used garden clippings and created a spectacular bouquet. Then, when a friend broke their leg minutes before the ceremony, Avagail swooped in and helped us get our friend to the hospital. This is the kind of team you want on your side for your big day. :) -

So thankful we found Crook Point! Everything from planning, setup, and breakdown was such a breeze with their amazing team. Kathleen was the absolute best to work with, so responsive, so knowledgeable, gave us so many resources and tips, and even gave us some much needed advice the week before our wedding! Every single guest that came was blown away at the beauty of the venue! It was the perfect mix of magical beachy/forest vibes and the space can be transformed in so many beautiful ways. We always wish we could get married again 100 times at this place!! We also booked the beach houses that they offer for family and friends to stay at a few days before the wedding and that was probably the best decision we could have made. Everyone was able to hangout and it was so convenient to be so close to the venue. 12/10 would recommend! -

From the first contact to the last, Kathleen was the consummate professional; knowledgable, accommodating, patient and gracious at every turn. The wedding packages she has assembled for events large or small take all the guesswork (and stress) out of the planning process. Her collaboration with wedding planner Becca Buck (eventswithbecca.com) delivered an intimate elopement perfectly catered for us. They are truly a dream team!
As for the venue, in a single word, mystical. The moment you come through the gate, you know you've arrived someplace truly special. From the landscape to the lodging, everything is cared for with a loving hand and executed with keen attention to detail.
Bottom line- our entire Crook Point experience exceeded all expectations we had! If your search for the ideal coastal wedding venue has brought you here, look no further.... The wedding was planned for more than a year in Kauai, cancelled and rebooked 2 times due to COVID-19. Then when the third wedding venue was unable to confirm our event just a few months before, our wedding planner reached out to the Crook Family. The Crook Family was beyond gracious, opened their entire venue up to our family and guests. We chose April Fools Day on purpose. The Sandstone Point wedding spot was epic, the Reception at Byrdie’s Beachhouse was incredibly captivating. All of the homes were comfortable and very well appointed. To the Crook Family, you truly helped us to get this important milestone done during such difficult circumstances. While we were out of state, you helped us orchestrate the perfect day.
Our story is now complete because of the thoughtfulness and selflessness of your staff. All of the vendors played a very important role in this fairytale moment. We are so grateful as plan to return every chance we can to experience this beautiful untouched place.

Two weddings, one great venue
Working with Kathleen at Crook Point was everything we could have hoped for in a venue! We held both our intimate elopement with no guests in 2020 and our larger reception in 2021 at Crook Point and had a wonderful experience both times. Despite having to postpone our wedding twice, the team was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the process and providing countless helpful recommendations throughout the process. There are definitely some difficulties of planning an event in a remote setting where you have to bring all your own rentals, so I do recommend hiring one of the many excellent planners the venue recommends. On both occasions we also rented beautiful homes on the property which provided ease and comfort while we celebrated all weekend long. Crook Point really makes your wedding day a full experience in a beautiful setting. -

Celebration
We had a small wedding at brydies beach house and it was amazing. The house was clean and had extra of everything like spices in the kitchen, beach towels, and blankets. The owner, Kathleen, was wonderful to work with. We definitely will be going back to Crook Point. And highly recommended if you want a beach wedding -

Great experience working with this family, our day was dreamlike!!
The time spent working with Kathleen Crook and her team to create the event were so refreshing. Everything from booking the venue to checking in was done with care and timeliness. Kathleen provided amazing advice about the venue and shared the history of their family in this special place. The conversations we had regarding recommended vendors and what resources were available in the area were so invaluable and helped us make our decision to book the venue from across the country where we lived at the time.
The family on property was so welcoming and flexible, when my mom went on my behalf to the venue I was able to use Skype to join and experience it first hand. So much care went into creating this property, pictures do not do it justice. You can feel the love that went into creating the venues and homes, there is so much attention to detail in just creating the perfect spaces to have such a special day and to gather your loved ones. We rented Arch Rock main lawn and it was so perfect for our event. The lights were magical and the views were breathtaking, this space really celebrates nature and the Oregon Coast.
When we booked it we planned on 50 people in the space but by the day of, COVID had become a huge player in the planning and we dropped to about 35 guests, not including vendors. We were able to spread out and have a wonderful party with peace of mind that all our loved ones were safely distanced. Crook Point adapted so quickly and was so transparent during the regulatory changes that were frequent in the 6 months leading up to the wedding. I never had to doubt that I would get any news of big changes well in advance of our event. We were provided with all the tools necessary with no extra costs such as signs and sanitization stations. It was such a relief in those final weeks knowing that everything had been carefully thought out to keep our loved ones safe. They also know how to make the day fun and comfortable, Crook Point has heating lamps and yard games available for rent that our family and friends loved, as soon as the sun went down, everyone was able to stay warm and the games were a blast!
Our family came from all over the country, some from Ohio and some from the smoke down in Northern California that was unrelenting in the summer. Having everyone together on the property was so magical and they all still tell me that they day dream about their time there. So many people found peace and joy just by being able to share the love and joy in this amazing space, they feel truly fortunate to have spent time at Crook Point. Every event at the main lawn had the perfect backdrop, guests were constantly taking pictures and selfies with the Arch Rock in the distance, sunset was the best! 10000/10, would not change a thing. My husband and I are eternally grateful and so glad to have memories of saying our vows at Crook Point. -

When I thought about my dream venue, I pictured something open/big and of course I wanted a nice view. After doing some research on what was available in my area, I saw crook Point, and I knew it was the one! Not only are you surrounded with the best scenery but the owners & staff of Crook Point were nothing but amazing. Kathleen (Owner) was such an incredible person to work with. Getting married in the middle of a pandemic added so much stress but Kathleen made it as stress free as possible for us, I can't thank her enough! If your looking for the best view and service, then crook point in the one! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone.

Beautiful wedding venue on Oregon's coast
We were very happy with the way my daughter's wedding turned out. Due to Covid-19 our plans had to be changed at the last minute. Crook Point was very helpful and flexible with us making my daughter's wedding beautiful and relatively stress free. Both the beach where the wedding took place and the house that had a deck that overlooked the beach were gorgeous. The venue needed very little decor due to its natural beauty. It was such a great experience despite the change of plans. I would definitely recommend this site as a wedding venue. -

My husband and I are from California and looked for the perfect place to get married for months. I was not able to find what I was looking for in California so we finally decide to look into venues in Oregon and found crooks point. When we saw it in person I knew my search was over and I had found the perfect place to say I do. The day of our wedding all of my guest were in aww and could not believe I had found such a beautiful place. Not only is the venue beautiful and gorgeous but the owners are so friendly. Kathleen was so helpful and flexible. I decided to go through with my wedding during a pandemic, and Kathleen was so supportive. Weddings are stressful as is and it was great knowing that I had a venue that would work with me to make it less stressful. If your looking for a venue look no further :) -

A magical experience
Crook Point was just pure magic! We were planning to get married in Iceland, but due to the pandemic we had to change our plans and came across Crook Point. Kathleen was so helpful and friendly. She was quick to provide information for our wedding which was planned with in a month with the help of Events With Becca!
The area of Crook Point was breathtaking. My husband and I love the outdoors, the views and beach were amazing. We rented the Look Out and loved the views of the arch rock and the sunsets. It honestly felt so surreal.

It’s been just over three weeks since our wedding at Crook Point and we continue to hear from our friends how much they enjoyed celebrating our special day on such a spectacular venue. Everyone was absolutely awestruck by the beauty of the property. From the very first moment we contacted the family in regard to having our wedding with them, they were incredibly kind, professional, and wonderful to work with. Absolutely Breathtaking!!
Crook Point vacations and wedding venue was absolutely breathtaking! We had a large wedding and Crook Point was more than accommodating. Kathleen was wonderful and easy to work with. We have received so many compliments on the venue. We highly recommend Crook Point for any event!! We look forward to our next stay at one of their vacation homes too. -

One of my bridesmaids put it best. When she first walked onto the lawn at Crook Point her jaw dropped and she was like.. "Katy, how did you find this place. This is the most beautiful venue I've ever seen." Crook Point is just like that. It has a wow factor that was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I've been a wedding photographer for 10 years, and when it came to choosing my own wedding venue, I was extremely picky. But I only toured one place - and that was Crook Point. One I found it, I was sold. The lawn on the cliff overlooking the ocean, surrounded by ferns, forest, and beaches was exactly what I had been looking for. The fact they had beach houses that half my guests could stay in sealed the deal.
Crook Point is perfect if you want to have a large (or small) outdoor destination wedding at a stunning coastal location, without having to deal with much wind. The fact that we could have ocean views AND be surrounded by majestic trees and ferns with gorgeous PNW vibes was amazing. Kathleen and her family were great at communicating with us throughout the process, and I honestly felt like I made a new friend in the wedding industry when I met her.
I'm going to recommend this venue to all my couples in the future, and I'll recommend it to anyone who wants a wedding venue with stunning natural beauty that feels like an escape from everyday life and the rest of the world. Our entire weekend was perfect in every way and I will always be grateful that I found this place and that they hosted my friends and family so graciously and made everyone SO happy. Yes, it's a pretty new venue, but they won't let you down. It's amazing. See it for yourself. -

My husband and I got married at Crook Point this year over 4th of July weekend. I cannot say enough good things about our experience at this venue. From the moment I reached out to Kathleen Crook about visiting the venue, through the day my husband and I departed Crook Point as husband and wife, Kathleen went above and beyond to make the experience as easy and comfortable as possible. I planned our wedding from out of the state/country and was only able to visit the venue once before the wedding. Kathleen was a huge help; promptly responding to my emails and maintaining regular contact to ensure the planning proceeded smoothly.
The venue itself was stunning! Our wedding was relatively small - only about 50 guests - and we reserved the entire Crook Point property (including all seven gorgeous beach homes) for the long holiday weekend (Thursday through Sunday). Most of our guests stayed in the beach houses and had nothing but great things to say. We hosted our rehearsal dinner/barbecue at Byrdie's Beach House and our ceremony and reception were at the Arch Rock Main Lawn. The day after our wedding, my husband and I spent the day relaxing on the private Burnt Hill Beach with our friends and family. The views at each location (Byrdie's Lawn, Arch Rock Lawn, and Burnt Hill Beach) were incredible! The weather was perfect! I never wanted the weekend to end. -

I cant say enough good things about Crook Point. It is a family run buisness and they are the sweetest most amazing "buisness" I have ever dealt with. I planned my wedding...never doing this before...from Medford with the help of Kathleen and the Crook family. Kathleen and Kayla were also quick to respond and helped me figure out anything that I needed. They have a beautiful location...private beach....hot tub's and quiet! I appreciate the Crook family share their beautiful property with us. We will most definitely be repeat customers for years to come. -

Kailey Sent on 03/20/2018Our wedding at Crook Point Vacations was a dream. We were married on the Arch Rock main lawn which easily accommodated our 80+ guests. The view was incredible! The actual venue looks like it came straight from a fairy tale: a lush green lawn, tall trees, gorgeous flowers, the ocean and of course the magnificent Arch Rock. It's the perfect mix of outdoorsy and elegant. You could do almost any theme at this location- rustic, modern, vintage, beach, etc..
Our day started overcast with some light fog rolling in during the ceremony. This didn’t deter us one bit and the lighting made for some truly magical wedding photos. The fog and clouds burned off in time for our reception and we spent the rest of the evening dancing under the starry sky. We had a custom-made dancefloor surrounded by trees wrapped in twinkling lights and vintage crystal chandeliers draped above. The large lawn easily accommodated multiple large white canvas tents, about a dozen tables, a 10 foot bar, dancefloor, seating for the ceremony and ample room for the DJ- with plenty of room to spare!
Another great bonus of this location, Crook Point offers six ocean front vacation homes located on the same two mile stretch of property. We rented several of the homes for our traveling family and friends. It was so nice to have our loved ones all together and to spend our wedding weekend down at the beach. It was also very convenient that our guests didn’t have to travel too far after partaking in wedding festivities. My husband and I stayed in the Honeymoon Cove House for a night before leaving for our honeymoon. This was a wonderfully romantic ending to our wedding celebration.
This is truly a one-of-a-kind place, in an incredibly beautiful, ocean front setting. I was very happy with our experience and I would definitely recommend this venue to searching brides and grooms. Book a tour and you'll see why! -
