Highly Recommend!

Creations by Mia provided photobooth and hair & makeup services for our wedding on 11/8/25. We had an amazing experience with both Jeremy and Mia! Jeremy was easy to work with, very professional, and set everything up on-time – guests loved the photobooth! Mia was amazing to work with for hair & makeup. She was easy to reach, very responsive, flexible with any changes I requested, and always had an incredibly positive attitude that put me at ease right away. The morning of the wedding, getting ready was a breeze without any stress or rushing to finish on time. Everyone looked absolutely stunning, and our hair and makeup lasted allll day. My hair does not normally hold a curl, and I went with a half-up half-down curled style. The curls stayed beautifully in place and the pinned pieces didn’t budge at all, even after some serious headbanging and moshing at the end of the night! Hiring Creations by Mia was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding, we cannot recommend them highly enough!

My favorite wedding vendor!

I am so beyond happy I found Mia! From the very first inquiry, she responded quickly and gave full thorough answers which I really appreciated. As the trial got closer, she helped me pick out extensions (I had no idea where to even start) based on my price range. I brought my mom to the trial and we had so much fun! I was nervous going into it but she was able to create exactly what I wanted and I felt so relieved and excited for the big day! Mia is so nice, super friendly, easy to talk to, and extremely talented!! I ended up booking her for my rehearsal dinner hair in addition to my wedding day hair and makeup. I got so many compliments at my rehearsal dinner. Everybody LOVED my hair and I felt so beautiful! On the wedding day, I was completely blown away with how perfect everything turned out!! She was careful, thorough, and paid attention to every detail. She was also so sweet, brought calm energy, and was such a hype woman for me and my girls. The hair and makeup lasted all day through lots of happy tears. I cannot thank her enough for making me feel so confident and beautiful on my wedding day!!

Look no further - Mia is YOUR GIRL

Mia was incredible to work with. She is highly communicative and her work speaks for herself. Don’t get caught up on fancy instagram pages and filters - Mia is the real deal with years of experience. Everyone commented on how amazing our hair looked and it even stayed together on a windy boat ride to our venue! I picked Mia because she balanced using make-up but making it look more natural than many others in the area. I felt like me - THANK YOU MIA

Awesome Photo Booth!

My wife Shantilli and I booked a photo booth from Creations by Mia for our recent wedding. Jeremy did a great job managing the photo booth at the venue with guests taking pictures throughout the entire night. The pictures came out great and we now have a memorable photo book of everyone from the wedding. Would highly recommend everyone to book with them for a photo booth at their event!

Very fun and Professional company

This company is amazing! The photobooth was so fun, we got to pick our background and design for the pictures. I also purchased a copy of everybody's photos which I highly recommend so you can see how much fun everyone had! I also did the dancing on the cloud for my first dance. It was perfectly timed and lasted our whole song. Jeremy was awesome to work with and even kept the photobooth open a little longer for me!

Amazing Photo booth with quality photos

Everyone loved the open air Photo Booth! It was a hit at the wedding and it fits so many people in the pictures! Photo quality was perfect and the online gallery is amazing to be able to go back and see all the photos that were taken!!

Mia was the best!

Mia was the BEST! My hair and makeup were perfect and held almost flawlessly through hours of 90 degree heat. She's so nice and personable. We had such a fun time getting ready with her and her team. Her pricing was very affordable. Bonus points because she had the most beautiful hair piece for me to buy and it was just the most stunning final touch for my wedding hair.

Beautiful work!!

Mia did my makeup and hair for my wedding and I couldn’t have been happier. It came out so perfect! It stayed on the entire day and I got so many compliments!! We also went with Mia and Jeremy for the photobooth and it was such a hit. Everyone loved it!

Fantastic!

Mia and her team were absolutely amazing for our April wedding. Mia took her time to explain everything thoroughly during my hair and make-up trial. Her communication leading up to the wedding was excellent and Mia provided exact details for us. Once the big day arrived we had a wonderful morning with Mia and her team and all hair and makeup turned out wonderfully. I'm still in awe of the beautiful make-up and side braid up-do that Mia did for me. It was exactly what I wanted and looked flawless the entire wedding day. Thank you for everything! Would 100% recommend Creations by Mia!

Mia and Gabby did such a wonderful job with my bridal party’s hair and makeup the day of our wedding. Additionally, the in-person bridal hair and makeup trial a few months before was a great way to explore and try out what I wanted my hair and makeup to look like the day of the wedding. Mia and Gabby were such a pleasure to work with, and their affability made getting ready the morning of the wedding all the more fun. Additionally, Jeremy and Mia created such a perfect photo booth experience for our wedding rehearsal dinner! During the planning process we got to customize the photo strip backgrounds, pick out the photo backdrop, and preview the fun props that we’d have the night of our dinner. The photo booth was an absolute hit at the dinner, and everyone had a wonderful time. Jeremy and Mia really helped us capture the excitement and joy in the moment on the eve of our wedding. Would 100% recommend Creations by Mia!

Absolutely wonderful!

Looking at my hair in our wedding photos makes me laugh and I mean this in the best way possible! I booked Mia back in 2019 right after getting engaged and choosing a wedding date (9/5/20). I did a hair and makeup trial with Mia a few months later and I absolutely loved it (long curls with a side braid). But flash forward to when we had to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic, nearly a year later I had a change of heart and decided that I wanted a completely different hairstyle for the wedding. Mia was so understanding and I ended up doing a second hair trial to try out an updo this time (with hair extensions) which again, I totally loved! Now onto my actual wedding day (6/19/21) I threw Mia for a loop when I yet again switched up my desired hairstyle. Rather than be annoyed or flustered at my last minute change, she was actually excited, graciously took on the challenge and did the most amazing job! I loved how my hair turned out and I got so many compliments on it from my wedding guests. Possibly most importantly, my hair stayed perfect all night and I even texted Mia a photo of it at 2:30am to show her how good it still looked! My makeup was also done beautifully and I loved that the airbrush was an option. It was a super hot summer day and not a single girl had issues with their makeup despite being super sweaty. I highly recommend Mia and her team for anyone’s wedding day, especially if you’re a bride with a large bridal party like I was! I am 110% satisfied with her services :)

Mia and her team are wonderful!

Mia was amazing to work with! She was so flexible when moving our dates due to the pandemic. Mia does amazing work and I was so happy with both my hair and makeup. All around amazing

Mia and her team were absolutely amazing. I knew from the trial that I had made a great choice - she really took her time and made sure we were on the same page with my hair and makeup, and made sure I knew I could mull things over and let her know if I wanted anything changed. She even took the paper flowers I wanted in my hair and made them proper hair pieces for me! Her team showed up bright and early on the wedding day and were all professional and sweet people. My bridesmaids looked beautiful and were all happy with their looks. Couldn't be happier with having gone with Mia.

Mia was amazing! She was recommended to me by a friend of a friend and I’m so glad we found her. I don’t typically do much by way of hair and makeup but she made gave me such a beautiful, natural look and the most incredible hair. I knew once I saw Mia's work online that she could make my wedding vision come to life!! At my trial, Mia listened to all my hair and makeup wishes for my wedding day and created something far better than I ever could've imagined. After meeting with Mia, I even sent my mother's wedding headpiece to Mia and she turned it into a bridal comb for me! It was absolutely stunning!! I can not say enough about Mia and her crew!!! She has such a fun and positive attitude!!! She also really listens and cares about making sure she creates your perfect vision. I have never felt so beautiful and all my bridesmaids loved their look as well! The girls showed up early to set up and kept a perfect schedule which could have been hard since I had 7 bridesmaids as well as myself and both mothers of bride and groom. I struggled to find hair and makeup - how do you know who is going to make you look flawless and amazing on your most photographed magical wedding day ever?!? Mia, that's who! Thank goodness she was recommended to me! I cannot begin to explain how awesome she is! There were 12 women having their hair and makeup done including me and Mia and her team totally rocked it!! I was lucky enough to meet Mia when she did all of the girls’ hair for my sister’s wedding, and I knew instantly that I had to use her for my wedding too! She is so unbelievably talented and does such an amazing job. I always get nervous about my hair because I have a lot of hair and it’s very thick, but that didn’t phase Mia at all! Mia and her staff were not only fun and personable but they made all of us look absolutely beautiful. They were so efficient and ahead of schedule the whole day, and we had 11 girls to get their hair done! Everyone loved their hair and it lasted ALL DAY! Mia and her team were amazing to work with for our wedding! Despite just having had a baby, Mia was always quick to respond and answer my questions. She traveled to my house to do the trial and was great at listening and delivering what I wanted based on the pictures. I showed up with a different hair piece than what I had at the trial and she made the vines work beautifully. Mia even let my bridesmaids text her with questions and get ideas. Her team will drive to where you are and they were very professional. Everyone looked beautiful and i got tons of great reviews! Her prices are also extremely reasonable and well worth the money spent. All of my girls loved the extra lashes once they saw them on and she was very flexible to let them add that and airbrush on the day. I would highly recommend Mia and her team!

Mia and her assistant were amazing, professional and friendly! They showed up early and ready to work! They did 6 hairs and my makeup absolutely beautifully and finished us all just before the photographer showed up! They had no problem when my mom and sister last minute decided they wanted hair instead of makeup. Everyone came out looking gorgeous and received many compliments. Hired Mia for my wedding on 4/29/18. She did hair and makeup for the entire bridal party of 6 girls and mother of the groom and bride. She was amazing! I had a trial done with a different company before my trial with Mia and it was horrible. Mia made me look stunning and natural at the same time and worked with my pretty difficult hair as well. She was always easy to get in touch with and arrived promptly the day of the wedding. My bridal party had all different skin tones and hair lengths and textures and everyone looked beautiful. Also her team was very down to earth and made everyone feel comfortable during the whole process. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone!

Mia is amazing! I was blown away at my trial and was even more blown away on my wedding day. Mia and her assistant (i am so sorry but in the whirlwind of the day, i forgot her name :(, but they both were amazing! At my trial, i had shown Mia a few pictures that i had in mind and she had a few suggestions with makeup, etc and nailed the look i wanted. But on my wedding day, i decided to change it up slightly so more of my hair was down and again, i showed her one picture and she got the look exactly like i wanted! Her assistant was also wonderful! They both were able to look at one picture and created the look on my daughters, sister, mother and nieces. They were amazing with my 3 and 5 year old nieces too! We even added one more girl in at the last minute and they accommodated her and were very happy to do so! All of our guests told us all how beautiful we all looked and the make-up and hair extensions i had held up all night even after almost 5 hours of dancing! But the absolute best feeling in the world was when my husband saw me for the first time down the aisle and kept whispering to me during our ceremony how beautiful i looked. Mia and her assistants are amazing artists and i would recommend them to anyone for hair and make-up! I cant wait to get my pictures back so i can post them for everyone to see!

I got married in September on the beach in NJ and I must say my hair lasted all through the day, and night! Mia was so beyond helpful and patient from the beginning planning, to the trial, to the big day. I couldn't be more thankful for such a professional and pleasant experience. Mia is amazing! She has a fun bubbly personality that you can’t get enough of. Not only is she a wonderful person, but she is extremely talented with hair. (She also travels to YOU!) She showed up right on time for my wedding day ready to get to work and make myself and my bridesmaids look beautiful. She was able to look at pictures and create the look that was exactly what I was going for. Since I had so many bridesmaids, she brought along a friend to do hair as well to make sure we stayed within our time constraints. Mia made me feel like the most beautiful bride. Words cannot express how thrilled I was by Mia and her work. I am pretty apprehensive about my appearance, and Mia's warmth, friendliness, and confidence put me at ease immediately. We did a trial which went wonderfully, and she recommended places to purchase extensions and accessories which was insanely helpful.

I was so impressed with what she did with my bridesmaids' hair. They had all picked out photos of different hairstyles, and Mia ended up doing similar styles in such away that their hair was all different, but in a similar shape. I might not have explained that well, but each girl looked unique but the overall effect was very polished and put-tother.

She also did a beautiful job on my hair and makeup. I was amazed at the end result. She based my makeup on my "everyday" look, so I still looked like myself, but much improved.

I would absolutely hire her again, and highly recommend her.

I can not say enough good things about Mia by Creations! After a long search for the perfect hair and make-up artist for my wedding, I stumbled upon the pictures of Mia's work and I was sold. I set up a trial with her. At my trial she was so personable and kept me engaged the entire time. She listened to what I was looking for and was able to recreate the looks I wanted from the hair and make-up pictures I saved. After one try, she had captured what I wanted. Even after I figured out I wanted to change the hair look a bit a couple weeks later, she just simply had me send her a pick and she adjusted effortlessly. She also provided her number to all of my bridesmaids, to take the responsibility off of me and so they could send her what they wanted for their hair. Mia and her assistant showed up promptly on my wedding morning, ready to work. They were personable with every person involved that morning. All the bridesmaids and I were so happy with our hair and make-up! Creations by Mia, thank you so much for making us beautiful for my wedding day!

Mia and her team were hired to do hair and makeup for my wedding in December and she did such an impressive job on everything! We had six women who needed hair and makeup for the wedding, and she was able to complete the task with time to spare. She was professional and attentive, creating hair styles to cater to each woman's need. She was friendly and very helpful as well throughout the process. My hair held up all night, even with a lot of moving and dancing which was fantastic! I was so pleased with her work and would highly recommend her to anyone!

Mia & her team were incredible. They got my 6 bridesmaids, my mom, grandmother and I completely dolled up ahead of schedule, even with us adding on an emergency make-up application. I am SO glad I booked Mia for my 6/4/16 wedding day! She had amazing reviews online and truly lived up to every expectation. She is very reasonably priced compared to most hair/make-up artists. The best part is that Mia and her team will travel to you! Mia took my pictures/inspiration and translated the look I wanted to perfection. Mia and one other hair/make-up artist showed up exactly on time the morning of the wedding and completed 7 of us (hair and make-up for everyone) in around 4 hours, it was incredible. I was referred to Mia by our photographer, Kaitlin Noel, for our wedding in Cape May. Working with Mia, from the make-up and hair trial to the day of the wedding was an absolute pleasure and she exceeded my expectations for my look on my wedding day! I looked incredible from start to finish; not an easy feat considering my curly hair (and I wore it curly!) and the 106 degree real-feel at the time of our outdoor wedding. I showed Mia pictures of my vision and she worked with me to create the exact look I wanted. It was PERFECT! My hair and make-up withstood the extreme heat better than I could have ever expected. Mia and her team of girls were GREAT! I found her name and services on WeddingWire about 8-9 months before my wedding and had a hair trial with her to make sure we "clicked" and I liked her work. Mia was great from the start and instantly put me at ease with her abilities. As for the wedding day, Mia and her team were timely, efficient, fun to hang out with, and most importantly, made myself and all the girls feel beautiful. Having the team come to our hotel suite was super easy and more stress-free versus having to travel to/from a salon. Mia built plenty of time into the day to make sure all of us were happy with our hair and make-up - we were not pressed for time and the entire process from start to finish was very easy and not chaotic. I have very fine hair that is pretty boring and hard to do much with. Mia was able to make my hair look great, the curls lasted all night, and I felt great! A job well done and I highly recommend Mia and her team.

Creations By Mia was everything you could have asked for from a glam team! Mia and her team (Dona) primarily did hair and airbrush make-up for the bride and bridesmaids. The girls looked beautiful! Every bridesmaid was happy with their look! My group included varying hair, skin tones and types, and we had girly-girls to tom-boys. Mia handled all kinds and all comfort zones! From a bride perspective, she was perfect. Fun, happy, funny, sweet, and oh so talented! I wore my hair down with extensions to add body. No one knew I had pieces in! Mia colored them earlier (after my trial) to get it perfect. My hair stayed all night and looked beautiful!

Mia was amazing! She was super flexible and even accommodated a second trial since I wanted to try some different styles. She was very responsive to my questions and concerns via text and email. Mia is a joy to spend time with, this was clear to me during our first trial and continued to be true on my wedding day. She is a very positive, cheerful, fun person - who doesn't want to be around that?? She showed up early on my wedding day with her team member, Melissa. They quickly turned my hotel suite into a beauty salon. All together they did 6 hairstyles: myself, my mom, and 4 bridesmaids. Both Mia and Melissa listened careful to what each person wanted (and looked at the photos they had brought) - they worked quickly without sacrificing quality or ever seeming rushed, and stayed right on schedule. We had music from a "ladies night" playlist playing in the background, and Mia and Melissa sang along with the rest of us - it felt like a little party. We all had a blast getting ready - no stress! The day of, I changed my hairstyle again from my second trial - Mia wasn't fazed in the least and perfectly created my vision. I also picked up a hair clip at her recommendation and am so happy I did - it really completed the look. Everyone looked beautiful and really seemed happy with how their hairstyles turned out. Mia even hung around to touch up everyone and make any changes if so desired, and until we finished taking "robe photos" to place my veil for me and taught one of my bridesmaids how to take it out. My hair lasted well into the night until I intentionally (and unfortunately) took it out to go to bed. I looked at photos from the end of the reception, and my hair still looks amazing - not like I had been dancing, sweating, and hugging people for hours. Keep in mind, my hair was done at 1pm and the reception ended at 11pm. If I had to do it all over, I would hire Mia again in a heartbeat! Thank you, Mia, for creating the wedding look of my dreams!! <3

I had a little vintage vibe going for my wedding day, and Mia complemented my gown with an elegant updo and glamorous makeup. I couldn’t quite articulate what I had in mind, but Mia is a true magician. After my hair and makeup trial, I sent pictures to my bridal party and those who weren’t already signed up for services got on board. That is how amazing Mia is!

She set up shop right in the bridal suite and made us all feel like princesses. Even our little flower girls had a shot in the chair. We were on time and perfect for pictures.

I found Mia online and fell in love with her pictures of hair that are just perfection. And then you meet her and you fall in love with not only her amazing skills for hair and makeup but also her personality. She and her crew (Krystal) are the women you want around you on your wedding day. They smile, they interact and they make you look stunning. Not only do they make you look good, they make it last for the long haul. We got married on the beach in about 30 mph winds and danced for hours and it was still in-tact and stunning. I actually did Insanity Max 30 after my trial and although I was sweaty I could have walked right down the aisle then. My favorite part about her is she listens.....she listens to you and works with you to make you look unforgettable. I have already told everyone I know but I wanted the world to see that she is amazing!!!! If you are looking for reasonable prices and priceless results then Mia is your girl :)

I cannot say enough about how amazing Mia and her team are to work with. From the very beginning Mia answered my inqueries quickly and during our planning phase had great suggestions for what would work best for my wedding day. I loved getting to know her during my trial and she totally "got" what I wanted my look to be and we changed very little from trial to wedding day. It was great having Mia and her assistants with us the morning of my wedding, they kept us all chatting and laughing and the time went by so quickly I never had time to be nervous. I *loved* how my MOH/BMs hair looked, and of course my hair and make-up looked stunning. Best of all, it lasted the entire night despite dancing, sweating, and having cake smeared across my face! Mia had done my makeup for my cousin's wedding two years ago, so when I was looking for a makeup artist for my own wedding, I booked her right away! Mia and another makeup artist did makeup for 10 girls the morning of our wedding. Everyone looked beautiful and the makeup stayed perfect throughout the day and summer heat! They were right on time and finished just when she planned to! Mia is calm and has a sunny disposition- a dream to work with! There is so much to worry about when planning a wedding. With Mia doing your hair, it is one thing that you can be sure that you have NOTHING to worry about! When you sit in her chair, you leave feeling gorgeous! She listens to exactly what you want, gives you advise (if you want it) and her attention to detail is amazing. Every girl, including my extremely picky mother, loved their hair. I would tell anyone to use her for their wedding. I booked Mia to provide hair and makeup services for me, my bridesmaids, and the MOB/G. Mia was an absolute delight to work with in every possible way. She’s kind, organized, and well, her work speaks for itself—it’s phenomenal. Mia’s able to listen to your vision and make it come together beautifully, but she’s also willing to make thoughtful suggestions if you’re not 100% sure of the look you’re going for. On the wedding day, Mia and her partner arrived on time and completed all 10+ hair and makeup appointments as scheduled. And the best part is, everyone’s hair and makeup stayed absolutely flawless until 2:30am. It was remarkable and everyone commented on it. Mia’s incredibly talented and a true pleasure to work with. Mia and her assistant did an amazing job with my hair and makeup, as well as my bridal party's. My hair turned out Just like the picture I showed Mia, if not better! All of my guests complimented my hair. It was a windy day and my hair didn't move at all. By the end of the night, It still looked exactly how it did after she first finished, even after a night of dancing. While we were getting ready, one of my bridesmaids didn't love her hairstyle. The stylist was so accommodating! She redid her hairstyle and never lost her professionalism or patience. At the end, everyone of the girls were happy with their hair and makeup.

Mia and her assistant did an amazing job for me and my girls on our wedding day! She traveled to Tinton Falls for our wedding at The Mill. Everything was just perfect from our hair to our makeup. I booked Creations by Mia to do the hair and makeup for myself, my entire bridal party, and my mom. Mia and her team were great! She was great at the trial, and did all kinds of different hairstyles. At the wedding, we had everything done on site. I have to commend Mia and her team for dealing with my bridesmaids, one of which was extremely picky about her hair and made them re-do it a few times. My mom also was picky and nervous because she does not wear make-up too often (she even brought her own). But she was very happy with the results and the service she received. At the trial, I had decided to have my hair down, but the day of the wedding was very windy so I made a last minute change and asked to have it put up. Mia went with it and everything worked out great! Most importantly, Mia is very personable and sweet and great to work with. I would recommend her to anyone!

Mia does awesome hair and makeup. I was worried about what to do with my hair for the wedding as I have short, fine, curly hair (the trifecta of difficult hair) and Mia assured me it wouldn't be a problem and she was right. Mia chose a great style for me and my makeup looked awesome. I had no idea how my bridal party should have their hair and she came up with a great look for them as well. Mia and her team did hair and makeup for my entire bridal party and MOB/MOG (7 people total) and came with me to the venue for last minute touchups. Mia is very professional and was even able to get my mother to wear makeup and she usually hates wearing makeup. I highly recommend Mia and her team.

Mia was absolutely wonderful and professional! I almost started to cry when I saw how beautiful and creative my hair was for my wedding! Mia is awesome! Before I booked her, she responded quickly to my emails to answer all of my questions. I had a trial with her a few months before my wedding and she had great ideas for my hair and makeup. She put my mind at ease in the weeks before my wedding by coming up with a super organized schedule to do hair and makeup for my whopping 12 girls. She came to the hotel with a team of talented, fun girls and everything was absolutely perfect. As it got closer to the date I was supposed to schedule a trial and time slipped away from me - my friends and family thought I was crazy for not doing a trial but Mia's confidence and professionalism gave me complete trust in her. She offered her help for anything, even more than just make up questions! The first time I met her (and her assistant) was the day of my wedding. I tried air brush for the first time and with very little direction from me on what I wanted my make up looked AMAZING. I could not have imaged it looking better, she really clued in on me and my skin and made sure everything was perfect. My skin is very oily and my make up usually comes off within 2-3 hours but my make up stayed exactly the way it was done 12-14 hours later. Use Mia! She is absolutely amazing!! I want to hit the lottery and hire her to do my make up daily! :)

If you are in need of a hair stylist and makeup artist for your wedding, look no further. Mia is phenomenal at what she does! From my first conversation with her, I felt like I was talking to a friend which is a very good thing as you are inviting your hair stylist/makeup artist to spend the morning of your wedding with you and your closest family and friends. When I had my trial I had an idea of what I wanted for my hair but could not find any pictures that illustrated it. I tried to describe it to Mia and she perfected it on the first try! I was amazed! I loved it and told her we did not even need to try any other styles. Mia also has a collection of hair pieces that you can buy at beyond affordable prices (you would pay at least 5 times the amount at bridal stores). She is also very honest with you and tells you when something is worth it and when it is not even if it means less of a sale to her. She truly cares that you are happy and look your best. The morning on my wedding, I had a blast with Mia and her stylists. They showed up right on time and were ready to go. We laughed so hard with them and were sad when they finished all of hair and makeup on time because we did not want to say goodbye to them! Through all the laughter and talking my hair and makeup, as well as all of my bridesmaids, came out phenomenal. They were able to perfect what each girl wanted. My makeup stayed on through all my tears of happiness during our ceremony-and there were many! My hair stayed through the many hours of dancing and the heat of an 85 degree day! I texted Mia the night after my wedding and let her know that my makeup still looked perfect. So long story short, if you are in need of a hair stylist/makeup artist, want someone who will highlight your beauty, is honest, professional, and nice, book creations with Mia. I found Creations by Mia on the Knott, I can't even put in words how happy I am to have picked Mia to do my hair and make up for the biggest day of my life!! Let me just start by saying my hair was my biggest worry about my wedding planning because I hate my thin hair. Mia did my trial and brought me and my family to happy tears because I didn't think I would love the outcome like I did. Her and her team did my hair/makeup and my bridesmaids and mother. We were all so happy. Mia is very professional and sweet and made us all feel so compfortable. I would totally recommend her to anyone. Worth every penny!! Mia did the hair and makeup for my two friends' weddings the last two years. She and her girls were able to individualize the right style and look for the brides and the girls in the party. So pleased with her work, I asked her to do the hair and makeup for my wedding this month. She made my dream wedding look come true. At my trial, I showed her a variety of photos from magazines and the internet. She took time to ask me about my wedding gown, venue, and theme. Mia is so talented and experienced that she was able to listen to me and look at the pictures to create my total look. Mia was excellent. She was on time and had the right amount of staff to handle my bridesmaids and other last minute requests. She was very fleixble in way she could do the trial and then when I changed my mind about my hair, she set up an appointment and did my hair again. Mia is a fantastic hair and makeup artist. She was prompt and professional in answering emails throughout the planning process and on the day of my wedding (July 19, 2013). Mia and her two assistants did a fantastic job doing the hair and makeup for me, my three bridesmaids, both my mom and mother-in-law, and our reader. Mia made it so easy for us to have a fun and relaxing morning! We brought pictures of our favorite styles and Mia and her girls were able to re-create them perfectly. None of us wear very much makeup and they were able to make our makeup look completely natural. The pictures are absolutely goregous! Despite the 100-degree heat and hours of dancing, everyone looked as beautiful at the end of the wedding as they did at the beginning. I have never had so many compliments from friends and family members! I met Mia when she did our hair for a friends' wedding in 2011. I would recommend Creations by Mia to anyone!

I was nervous about finding the perfect person to do my hair (to say I have a lot of hair is an understatement!) I scheduled a trial with Mia and it was amazing! I had brought photos to show her the look I was sort of going for with some minor changes and she interpreted it beautifully. My end result was even better than I ever could have imagined. On the day of my wedding, Mia showed up earlier than promised, which immediately put me at ease. She was friendly and outgoing and made my entire wedding party feel comfortable. Mia and her team were absolutely wonderful. We hired them based on a recommendation from a friend,so we had pretty high expectations. The hair and make-up test went GREAT. Mia took her time to make sure I was 100% comfortable with details, and also did a trial on my mother too. I used an example from her website, so I didn't really have any concerns with the hair, but I was nervous about the makeup because it's not something I wear much of. Mia made me look 100% natural, and it photographed wonderful.

On my Wedding Day the whole team was prompt and ready for business. They did a great job with the entire bridal party, especially with some complicated requests. The girls were a blast- making us laugh and telling stories. My hair stayed in place all night despite many outdoor photos and a heavy breeze. My photographer even commented on it later in the evening about how shocked they were it hadn't blown out yet. The great thing was that it didn't feel stiff or tight at all... just stayed together!

Definitely use Mia and her team in the future!

Mia did an incredible job!! She made my skin look flawless which was a big deal for me since I do not always have the most clear skin. I had Mia come to my mom's house the morning of my wedding to do hair and makeup for myself and 5 bridesmaids. Mia and her assistant did an absolutely amazing job on all of the girls, and I think everyone was thrilled with how they looked. We did run about 30 min over from when we were supposed to leave for the venue, but we had allocated enough time pre-ceremony to get all of our pictures done, so it ended up not being a big deal. Her prices are super reasonable, and you could not ask for a more relaxing pre-wedding setting. I would recommend to her anyone!

I loved working with Mia for my September 22, 2012 wedding! Before I found Mia, I was getting really stressed out looking for a vendor that could do on-site hair and makeup who could accommodate me and my large bridal party. I was so blessed and lucky to have found Creations by Mia! I had two pre-wedding trials because I was having a hard time deciding what look I wanted to go with, and Mia was so accommodating and easy to work with. She really listened to what I wanted and made sure I was absolutely satisfied with the looks she produced. On the day of the wedding, Mia and her assistant did hair and make-up for me and 8 other ladies. They worked efficiently but took the time to make sure everyone was happy. We were all done on time and everyone looked beautiful! Even my mother who has never had an up-do a day in her life was thrilled with her hairstyle! Mia did an amazing job for my wedding! The styles were fantastic, she really listened to all of our needs, and gave amazing suggestions to make sure the hairstyle really worked for each of us. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mia and her team. They were able to do anything and everything and made everyone look beautiful and perfect. We had a very early start time (6:00 a.m.) on the first day of a holiday weekend (Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend) and we were at the shore. Mia and her team arrived promptly and prepared and were energetic and personable. You would have never guessed it was so early! Everyone's hair and makeup came out absolutely stunning. A lot of people in the bridal party provided pictures beforehand and the hairstyles came out exactly the same as in the pictures. We all had very different hair (I have very long and wavy, another girl had short and straight, etc.) and Mia and her team were able to work with everything and everyone's unique features. Everyone received so many compliments during the wedding. I am so thankful that the bride chose Mia and her team for the occasion!

Mia was extremely helpful especially because I lived so far away. I was first planning the wedding all the way from Los Angeles and then from Boston and one thing I never had to worry about was my hair and make-up! She always responded timely.

I even went to my consultation a week before the big day and then completely changed my mind for my hairstyle and she came through with carrying out what I wanted perfectly.

Mia was great! She does all her services from travel, so she travels right to your house (or where-ever your getting ready at) for everything. She came to my house for my make-up trial about 3 months out from my wedding. She consults with you before and then changes anything you do not like. She is one of the nicest people I have ever met and she is fantastic at what she does. Her services are hair and make-up, but we only needed her for make-up. On the day of, she made me and my party at ease and did not try to push us one way or another on certain make-up. She uses all the top of the line products and it stayed on all day and night! And once she was done with our make-up, and my hairdressers had already left my house, she helped some of my girls and myself re-position bobby pins and hairspray. She was great! And depending on your party size, she brings along enough people who are equally as talented to help her. She was great and definitely gave me and my girls and my mom, exactly what we wanted!

Mia and her three assistants did all of the hair and makeup for me, my five bridesmaids, my mom and mother in law. My aunt, a friend, and my husband's two grandmothers decided last-minute to get their hair/makeup on the day of the wedding, and Mia was able to fit them into the schedule as well. When I had my trial with Mia, I had a good idea of the hairstyle I wanted, but I was still undecided on my makeup. My hair turned out like I wanted and I only tweaked the style on my wedding day a little bit (no part instead of a part). After the trial I got a better idea of what type of look I wanted with my makeup, and sent Mia the photos. Her makeup assistant did my makeup beautifully the day of the wedding, just like I wanted. I was also really happy with my hair, which had fresh flowers in it. My bridal party looked amazing as well. Beautiful long goddess curls for my bridesmaids, gorgeous makeup all around, including very age-appropriate makeup for my young cousin. Mia's prices are very reasonable and her team is excellent at what they do. Everyone looked wonderful and I was very impressed with their work!
