He's got the vision and the vibe ;D

I came to see Craig on some days that were clearly insanely busy for him. Nonetheless, the flowers I received for my wedding were gorgeous, exactly what I wanted. It was clear that he had listened closely and given thought to the color combos I loved, even on my small wedding budget.

His shop is inspiring, his team is friendly, and his shop pets are adorable. I recommend Craig Sole Designs not just as a florist, but as an entire wedding experience.

Amazing is an understatement

Craig is the absolute best, sweetest, and nicest person! He is so understanding and will truly bring your vision to life. I cannot recommend them enough. I will always go to them for any floral needs in the future!

Best Florist in Kansas City

For flowers Craig Sole Designs is the best! I called everyone in town, and they either said teardrops would be too difficult, or they were booked and to call Craig Sole! Its a small family run buisness run out of a building that used to be a house they turned into a beautiful flower shop!! They have been in the business for years. If it's difficult Pinterest type idea you have in your head, Craig knows what he is doing and can do anything! I had no real plan in my head and my bouquet was so gorgeous! All I said was no yellow red or orange and I wanted a teardrop and I was shocked by what he created! He even teaches you how to hold it to make you look the best depending on the shape or type of bouquet. Craig is a wonderful and fun man! Every interaction I had with him was a blast! I told him I needed flowers to decorate our cake and he said "how big is it, and what color flowers?" I told him and he said he knew exactly what and how many we would need! He is so much fun and will make you a work of art out of flowers that will literally make you gasp when you see it! I will use him for any future flower needs! He is a kind honest man who wants to make sure you are taken care of! When I asked him about preserving my bouquet he said don't... that it costs way too much usually twice as much as you pay for a bouquet itself and to spend that money on the honeymoon or something else that would be more worthy of the price tag! I really recommend This gem of a florist! They will work their hardest to make sure the flowers on your big day are perfect! Whether you only purchase a bouquet for yourself like I did, or if you go all the way and buy flowers to fill the whole venue, bouquets for all your bridesmaids, and boutonnieres! He will treat you exactly the same, with the same care, respect, and support! He would have delivered my one bouquet, but unfortunately he had 3 weddings that day, and I was so thankful he still accepted me as a client! He said he could add in one more bouquet no problem once I let him know I couldn't find anyone else and they all kept telling me that I should call him. I also found Craig himself or someone else, since everyone there is equally kind, knowledgeable and helpful, are always super easy to get ahold of on the phone daily if you ever have any questions or concerns! Sole Designs really are the best at what they do! You will not be disappointed if you choose to share your Big Day with them!

Craig is the funniest and most telant florist. He was so much fun to work with. He has so much energy. I love going to his shop and pet his cat and dog while discussing the wedding details over some nice cold drinks. I think he is secretly a magician because I just have to tell/show him what I want then he can just make it come true within our budget!! All the flowers and decorations he did for the wedding was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. I wish I could live in that day forever!

Craig is amazing, and his designs are stunning. And by stunning I mean stop-in-your-tracks and appreciate the beauty of the moment because EVERYTHING LOOKS GORGEOUS. His arrangements transformed our ceremony and reception, with everyone raving about the flowers. But aside from being the best at what he does, he has this wonderful and warm personality, and is delightful to work with. Craig is an artist while I’m the analytical type, so it was a ton of fun just figuring out what to do and leveraging his creative personality. He will take whatever ideas you have (whether it’s virtually nothing or an entire vision), and then make your entire event beautiful. And really, he’s just easy to fall in love with…I can’t imagine having chosen anyone else!

Craig is kind, attentive, and TALENTED! He's a total pro, and I am beyond grateful he was our florist! I live in NYC and my husband and I decided to get married in my hometown of Kansas City. I was concerned about finding the right florist and Craig was IT! He nailed my vision, my specific tastes, and took in to consideration our budget to create the most beautiful, cheery, and elgegant arrangements. I'm so pleased!

I can't say enough positive things about Craig & his entire team. They are so creative, flexible, and a joy to work with. Flowers were a very important component to me as I think arrangements can completely transform a space, and beautiful bouquets make wedding pictures that much prettier. I had so many different color schemes in my head and changed my mind about 5 times, and each time Craig was so helpful and fun to bounce ideas off of. In the end, he helped bring all of my ideas together and create bouquets/arrangements that were more beautiful than I could have imagined!

Craig not only delivered GORGEOUS arrangements to my wedding, but he exceeded my expectations by going above and beyond with helping highlight the venue and give me tips on how to pose for photographs. He is especially fun to work with, too. What a great sense of humor! Craig is simply delightful and I would recommend him to anyone needing floral services.

Craig did the flowers for my son and daughter-in laws wedding last August. The flowers were exquisite. I have been lucky enough to use his services for years for my floral arrangements.
One of Craigs's best attributes when doing either a large event or just a single arrangement is that he listens to his clients and then magically produces exactly what you were envisioning while staying within your budget.

Craig Sole is the wedding florist of your dreams!!! We came in with a vision and he literally made it come to life in a couple of sit down meetings (around 5 hours total - he really gives you his attention!). He focuses on you, what you want, AND what your budget is - while adding in his 30+ years of experience and creative genius. He's so congenial and enjoyable to be around, I'd go back to just to hang out with him in his inspiring little downtown OP house turned florist shop. I felt that Craig was invested in making my wedding come to life as more than just a florist, but also a friend and an all around designer as well. Our venue was a little different (a restaurant) but he still jumped right in with us. He's been doing this for so long and he saved us on so many things simply with his free ideas! He came to help set up himself on the day of and I was just so appreciative of everything he did and said that I cannot stress enough how amazing our experience was with Craig and his entire staff! :)

I called Craig from out of the blue, and sight unseen he produced the perfect bouquet for my parents' 67th anniversary. He translated my wishes into a gorgeous, colorful, and witty burst of joy. It arrived in perfect shape, on the date as agreed. Craig is fun to work with, and my parents were thrilled. Craig kindly sent me a picture of the arrangement, so I'm happy too!

It's been 2 years since my daughter's wedding, and I'm still thinking about the gorgeous flowers Craig Sole and his team did for the wedding and reception. Craig had lots of ideas for the bride to consider. He did everything he said he would do...and then some. The church looked beautiful, and the reception venue was stunning because of the floral arrangements. Love this guy!

Wow, words cannot describe how beautiful the flowers were for my wedding. Craig Sole Designs was an absolute pleasure to work with and created floral designs better than we could have imagined. I met with Craig Sole a couple months before the wedding, as an initial meeting, and hired him after that meeting. In that initial meeting, Craig gave myself and my mother SO many tips regarding various aspects of the wedding that we utilized at the wedding. For instance, Craig noted my color choices were both cool colors and flowers of those colors would disappear in the dim lighting of my reception venue, and showed us pictures as examples. From there, he showed us different shades of the colors I wanted that would show up in the dim lighting, keeping with the colors I wanted just manipulating the shades of the colors to work better in the environment. Outside of flowers, he gave us many tips regarding table layout in the room, etiquette with my fiance's divorced parents to make them most comfortable, how to decorate the tables, and tips in many other areas of the wedding. Back to flowers, most of our wedding guests (we had 130 total guests) commented on how beautiful the flowers looked. We had 2 big displays, flowers as the centerpiece on 14 round tables, bridesmaid bouquets, bridal bouquet, boutonnieres, and wrist corsages. Craig Sole gave us great suggestions on how to use the flowers in multiple places to keep costs down (e.g., the bridal bouquet was the center piece on a family table at the reception, so one less center piece for a table was needed). Finally, after the event, Craig Sole Designs was incredibly flexible on the return of their vases. We took the flowers to my grandmother's nursing home and Craig Sole Designs picked them up from the nursing home a week later. Of all our wedding vendors, my family all noted how Craig Sole Designs was one of only three vendors that we had zero problems with, incredibly good service from, and would hire again any day!

Craig was so great! I loved him from our very first meeting and he calmed my nerves instantly He listened to what i wanted, and then improved it! The flowers were absolutely beautiful, even better than i imagined they could be! Craig and his staff went so far above and beyond. Not only did he make the most beautiful arrangements, but he delivered them to the rehearsal dinner site, picked them up, and redelivered them to the ceremony and reception site the next day. Craig was absolutely amazing. From the first appointment, where he patiently explained ideas and etiquette to my parents and me, to reassuring my mom, to the day of the wedding he was wonderful. He executed our vision perfectly, actually he made it better. It was like he took what I was picturing in my head and made it real while staying within our budget. Craig also does little things to made your day even more special. For example, I had a handkerchief that I was not using the day of and he surprised me and used it in the wrap for my bouquet in addition to pins from my grandmothers (it was blue). I am so glad a friend of mine referred me to Craig and I highly recommend him!

Craig is not just a florist; he is a very talented designer!

He took our vision and made it come to life. He took a our small budget and made the centerpieces appear as if we paid five times as much as we did. Craig's ideas are endless and the flowers are beautiful and only the highest quality.

Craig is fun and professional. He takes pride in his work and gives you 100%.

If you want originality in your centerpieces and someone who knows wedding, you need to talk to Craig!

I was referred to look into Craig Sole Designs and was told that he is both wonderful to work with and affordable. Craig made everything so easy for me- I told him what I was looking for and I was in and out of his office within 45 minutes. I told him the colors that I wanted, some flowers that I like, and that I wanted him to surprise me on my wedding day. To say the least, I was beyond thrilled with his work! :)

Once I met with Craig I knew I didn't have worry about our flowers. He practically created my bouquet on our first meeting. The flowers were gorgeous and were a great value. Beautiful and unique table centerpieces, stunning altar flowers, darling flower girl wand.

Craig was absolutely wonderful! It was a pleasure working with him from our first appointment 9 months prior the wedding. We were on the same page the entire time, and he envisioned everything just as I explained. The wedding came and the flowers were GORGEOUS! We got so many complements on the bouquets and flowers throughout the night. The chupah could not have looked any better!

I would recommend Craig in a heartbeat!

Craig is fantastic. He knows what he is doing and if you are looking for someone with a lot of creativity and professionalism, he fits the bill. The best part about working with Craig is that you don't need to worry. We told him what we wanted, and he took it from there. No worries.

The week of the wedding when my husband and I went to his shop to drop off some vases, I was expecting to go through each one and discuss what should be done with it. I remember the relief when we laid the boxes down and he just said, "Thank you. Now you kids go have a life!" Knowing that the flowers are in good hands when you have so many "to-dos" on the list is such a load off of your mind.

He did a wonderful job and I'm so glad we worked with him.

Craig with Craig Sole Designs absolutely loves what he does and that radiates from the beautiful works of arts her creates with his floral design. Craig took an incredible amount of time out of his busy days to sit down with us twice to discuss the details of our wedding. Craig is full of years of experience and knowledge of not only floral design but advice on how to pull off a beautiful and worry-free wedding. Craig really out did himself for our Fall 2011 wedding by accounting for every detail I may of overlooked and added to the beautiful spaces of our ceremony and reception to make them more intimate and inviting. If you want a real floral design expert, who is well-respected and well-received throughout the KC wedding community you should take a moment and sit down with Craig. He will become your most favorite person!

Craig was SO much fun to work with! I was excited to go to every meeting because he always opened up my eyes to a new idea on flowers and life. Craig did all of the flowers for my wedding. It was absolutely beautiful and more than I could have ever imagined! He was able to use vases, crystals and branches that I had purchased on my own and transform them into to breathtaking centerpieces! Craig did all of the florals for my daughter's wedding. She was very specific in what she wanted and Craig took all of her ideas and was able to give her exactly what she wanted. Craig Sole did an absolutely gorgeous job on our wedding! I knew Craig was a very creative person so I really just gave him a couple of my ideas and let him go! All of the girls flowers were stunning and the centerpieces at the reception were breathe taking. He also made a tree out of twigs and greenery and hung the table assignments from ribbons hanging from the tree. It definitely made a statement before you entered the reception. He truly was a joy to work with!!

Craig is amazing! He took my vision and made it into something even better than I could've imagined! Beyond the beautiful flowers, he was great to have around on our wedding day?he knows so much about weddings and was able to give us so many useful tips along the way. He also went above and beyond by taking some things back to our cake lady after the reception so that we didn't have to do it the next day. Craig did an amazing job from every little aesthetic piece of the wedding! Everything from all floral arrangement, bouquets, corsages, table linens, chuppah decor, unity candle and cake decor, drapery, chuppah. . .AMAZING. period.

He knew exactly what I wanted, even though I couldnt put it into words. . . .

He is also the most friendly individual you will EVER meet. . .I cant wait to have another event just so I can use him more!

ALL flowers were gone by the end of the reception/ceremony. Everyone took the flowers home, i had none to take home but my bouquet which lasted for another 2 weeks!

Beautiful flowers that lasted all through the event and then through the week after. Colors were vibrant and beautifully natural. Craig has a very creative eye and will not let your flowers look "cookie-cutter" or bland. Also has a good appreciation for the natural beauty of colors and flowers that work well together.

Let me say first that we didn't have many flowers for our wedding. We got married on a family farm without attendants, so we had cut flowers for the tables and only used a florist for my bouquet, boutonnieres for the groom and our fathers, and corsages for our mothers. Craig Sole's shop is magical and he was open to any ideas I had. I wanted a "wildflower" look, so he showed me what he had in stock and made my bouquet right in front of me. He urged me not to be polite and kept changing things until he felt that he was getting an honest excitement from me. To me the flowers were an afterthought, but now when I see flowers that were in my bouquet, I get nostalgic and remember my wedding. I highly recommend him!

The consultation was absolutley wonderful! My daughter and I felt very welcome and Craig introduced us to so many ideas, colors, dos and don'ts. We picked up the wedding party flowers because all orther decorations and table arrangements were made by family. The bouquets and boutineers were original and georgous!

As anyone who meets Craig knows, he is such a fun & talented person to work with. We came in with a lot of initial ideas and preferences, and Craig really helped us make them whole. He's been in the industry for so long, and is so helpful with recommendations -- even those in other aspects of a wedding day, such as photography, etc. We really appreciated his flexibility in some of our more unique requests, and would work with him again in a heartbeat.

Craig did the flowers for my brother's wedding, as well, and we were very pleased with his work, so we used him for ours. The only thing keeping this from being a 5 is his timeliness on our wedding day and an oversight. After a few phone calls and e-mails letting him and his team know that our final count was higher than we had discussed, he still didn't adjust the number of centerpieces we would need, so a few of the tables at the reception were without flowers. The flowers for the ceremony didn't arrive until 2:45 for a 3 p.m. ceremony, which totally stressed out my mom. Also, we ordered flowers for the cake, but those did not make it onto the cake. I will say that Craig is a wealth of wedding knowledge and the flowers were BEAUTIFUL! I would recommend Craig, but I would be very specific in every correspondence and be clear about what time you would like everything ready.
