Words truly can’t describe how lucky my husband I are that Matthew Friedman and Uptown Sounds were our wedding band. I keep getting messages that it was the best band people have ever heard and they made our night UNFORGETTABLE. They are immensely talented and could not be more professional! No one was sitting the entire night- the dance floor was PACKED every second of the wedding thanks to them. They were interactive and sounded amazing! I am a musician myself, and the talent that this band has is absolutely unbelievable and of the highest quality!

Wedding Band of the Century!
The Craig Scott Band really knows how to party! My wedding guests absolutely loved the setlist, powerful vocals and the interactions the ultra-talented members of the band had with the crowd. Literally, the trumpets on the dance floor were such a highlight of the evening! Everyone -- even my shiest of guests --was up and having a blast. Nick, Scott and the entire CSE team really outdid themselves in the most amazing way possible. I wish there was a rewind button and I could do it all over again! Booking Craig Scott Entertainment allows you to worry about one less thing at your wedding. They are guaranteed to entertain the crowd and deliver a special performance. From the very beginning our phone calls with them were comforting and they emphasized they like to get the dance floor going early and with a ton of energy. They did exactly that! We had many specific song requests, "do not play" lists, timeline of events and they managed all with perfection.
Throughout the night they would check in with us (the bride and groom) to make sure everything was going as we wished. Every time was two thumbs up, but we appreciated the checking in.
The "unplugged" music during dinner time was super unique and the singers were incredible. We still can't stop talking about it!
We can't recommend this band enough. If you want to have good energy and a great dance floor, these guys know how to do it.

Amazing, talented, everything
There are bands and then there's The Craig Scott Band!!! Oh what a night it was! Not only did they have everyone on the dance floor from start to finish, they had those who never seem to publicly display their dance moves up and out of their chair. Band members are not shy, making their way to the middle of the dance floor to excite the crowd with their skills. They deliver exactly what you ask of them and more, with expertise and a great big smile! I wish I could dial back time to experience this night again!!! The vibe was everything!!!

Phase One played at our wedding on Jan 21st 2023. We told Rich the band leader that we wanted a party - gave him some suggestions, but basically said we trust their judgement, and get everyone on the dance floor. They were incredible!! Weeks later, everyone is still raving about how fun our wedding it. It was such a good time, and Rich and the Phase One team is a major reason why. Someone told us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. They are all so talented - everyone kept telling us the female singer should be famous, multiple guests told us the male single performed the best, most fun shout rendition they’ve ever heard. We would book them 100 x again - go book phase one!!

Amazing! Go with csb!
Wow, Craig Scott Band was truly incredible. I couldn't be happier that I chose them to play at my wedding. While it was only 3 weeks ago, I am still getting text messages and calls daily on how incredible they were. From the very beginning it was so pleasant working with Nick, Kathy and team. We said we wanted a nonstop dance party and they totally understood the assignment. Not only that, but they executed our song, father-daughter and mom-son song excellently. I can't wait until I get my video just to relive this night over and over. It honestly felt like magic -- when they sang Beyonce, it felt like Beyonce, when they did Bruce, I thought the king of NJ was there himself.
Thank you will never be enough. It was truly the best night of my life and a huge part of that is because of CSB. Can't recommend more :)

The BEST Band Ever
We recently used the Craig Scott band for our daughter's wedding and could not have been happier. Nick, the bandleader was excellent and took all of our daughter and son-in-laws requests into consideration. The band was the BEST we have ever experienced - they had everyone up and dancing the entire time. I would highly recommend them!

City Heat kept us dancing all night long!
One of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding was having City Heat as our wedding band. They were absolutely incredible and brought amazing energy to the event. All of the band members were so professional and wonderful to work with! They really know how to put on a fantastic show and keep all the guests partying on the dance floor. We had so many guests come up to us during and after the wedding asking us where we found our wedding band. I am so incredibly grateful to them for being a big part of one of the best days of our lives! We all had so much fun dancing and singing along all night. I highly recommend Craig Scott Entertainment and City Heat for your wedding! Best band ever!

Danced the whole night
Phase One was AMAZING! We had so much fun at our wedding at Senate Garage - and they were a big reason. Our feet took a minute to recover from dancing so much. Our guests were dancing the whole time - even my 93-year-old great uncle (who couldn’t stop talking about how great the band was at brunch the next day). Our friends and family said it was the best band they’ve seen at a wedding. From the ceremony music to the last dance - we were smiling & (happy) crying the whole time. Band leader Rich made the whole process so easy - we said what we liked and didn’t like and he helped guide us through the rest! The band even learned some songs for us - not just for the ceremony - but for the reception, too. We’re hoping some of our friends use them in their future weddings because they’re just that good!

Incredible band
Last week my daughter Abbey married her love, Marisa, here at the Hilton Pearl River. We chose the Craig Scott Band to be our music for the night. It was the absolute best decision! They were incredible. The music and vocals for the ceremony on the outdoor lawn were just so beautiful. Scott and Nick spent time with them deciding on music that was so meaningful to them. It was like a dream.
Then with the party there are no words to describe how amazing they were. Everyone danced the night away. They really knew how to read the crowd and the full dance floor was the outcome. So many guests kept coming up to me to rave about the band.
The texts and calls over the next week all mentioned how much everyone just loved the band and the music.
Truth be told , I am the Director of Catering here at the Hilton Pearl River and Abbey is our Senior Catering Manager. We knew how great the band would be as they are our house band and we get to hear them all the time. We were so thrilled that they had the date available when we went to book them. We knew that they would "make" the wedding the best ever.
On a personal note, Scott and Nick are two of the nicest most professional band leaders and all of our clients that hire them are so happy with them from the time they sign with them until their wedding is over. They always take time leading up to the wedding to make sure that each wedding couple has the attention to detail that they hope for.
Any one that is looking for the "perfect" band has to look no further than the Craig Scott.

Beyond fantastic! Book them!
The Phase One band played at our wedding. THEY WERE FANTASTIC. Brides, if you are planning a wedding, you know how stressful it can be. Richard Bascomb makes the process so simple. He is thorough and highly responsive. He reviews the order of events many times beforehand. My husband and I had very specific visions for the ceremony and cocktail hour and his team went above and beyond. THEY ARE SO TALENTED! Also, we were very torn about getting a band or just getting a DJ. Richard Bascomb was able to provide both which was great. The band and DJ kept the party going the entire night! My husband does not dance and he danced all night long. There was not one minute besides when people were eating dinner that the dance floor wasn’t full!

I can’t say enough good things about how good City Heat was. This band completely rocked the house!! Everybody at our wedding raved about “how awesome the band was”. They had EVERYBODY out on the dance floor dancing their faces off!! I would highly recommend this band to anyone who’s looking for any type of event, as I will continue to personally refer them to anyone who I know is looking for a live wedding band. This band crushes it!

Danced all night long
For our wedding in June we had the Craig Scott Band for our reception and live music during the ceremony, cocktail hour and after party. Scott and Nick did a great job coordinating the program with us and our venue. The band did a fantastic job getting our guests out of their seats and keeping them dancing all night. When we told Scott our first dance song was Perfect by Ed Sheeran (duet with Andrea Bocelli), he suggested an Italian singer to perform the song with the band. This was one of the highlights of our wedding for both us and our guests! We still watch the video of it almost everyday. Our afterparty was a piano bar which created a great mood after the hours of dancing. The pianist and violinist even learned songs specifically for our ceremony and performed them beautifully. We are so pleased with Craig Scott and would highly recommend!

Energetic & Incredibly Fun
From the Bride: This group knows how to throw a party! Craig Scott Band got the party started as soon as guests entered the reception space, and it never stopped! Nick recommended to us that we get guests dancing as soon as they entered the room, and everyone LOVED it! When the groom and I entered the space for our first dance, everyone was on the dance floor, cheering us on, before they joined us for a few upbeat songs before we all ate dinner and went into speeches. Nick kept things moving throughout the night, and Scott kept everyone energized with the beat from the drums. The band played our requests, which was fun, and also kept an eye on the mood of the crowd and always seemed to know what to play next. We danced the night away. The band also worked with us for the ceremony and cocktail hour, and were responsive, professional, and easy to work with at every party of the process.
From the Groom: We had an amazing time with Craig Scott Band, and continue to hear compliments from our guests about the music. Scott, Nick and the whole team were great to work with every step of the way.
From the Father of the Bride: The entertainment at the wedding was terrific, just terrific. Each of the performers exhibited not only a lot of talent, but lots of enthusiasm and energy. They were key contributors to the evening's success.

Craig Scott Entertainment- Wedding Review
We hired The Craig Scott band for our Memorial Day weekend wedding. They were absolutely phenomenal. Not only are they all exceptional musicians who kept our guests dancing the entire evening, but they are extremely organized and made the planning process so much fun! Nick spent hours with my husband and I designing the musical experience from before the ceremony through the end of the evening. They learned new songs, altered old songs to fit our wedding and created a whole second line (New Orleans custom featuring Jazz Music) experience for us and still asked us, “how else can we tailor the experience for you?”
At the end of the evening, almost every question was, “who is that band, they are unbelievable.” There are so many decisions to make in a wedding process. Do yourself, and your guests, a favor and hire The Craig Scott Band for an unforgettable evening.

The most amazing wedding band ever!
We had Matt Friedman & the Uptown Sounds at our May 2022 wedding and all I can say is WOW! They absolutely blew us and our guests away! The whole experience working with Craig Scott was a dream, they were always responsive and helpful. When Matt reached out before the wedding we told him we wanted to keep the dance floor full and they did just that and more! All of our family and friends could not stop complimenting the band all night- many even asked for cards at the end! The dancefloor was packed all night long! Definitely book, you won't regret it!

Rich Bascomb and Phase One
My husband and I are so grateful we found Craig Scott Entertainment. We booked Rich Bascomb and Phase One for our wedding day band and were completely blown away by them. We had beautiful live piano and violin for the ceremony, and then had the 8 piece band for our reception. The dance floor was packed the entire 4 hours, and the live music never stopped. Literally people were not sitting at their tables, and even during dinner people were still out on the dance floor. The talent of this group was truly incredible, we were in complete awe of them! Our guests kept asking where we found them and complimenting on how awesome they sounded. We thank them for making our wedding night the very best night! Our band leader, Rich, was so organized throughout the entire process and made everything so simple for us. Book them now, you will not regret it!!!

A Great Company To Work With
Our daughters wedding was scheduled for March 28th 2020.
Two weeks before we made the decision to move the wedding to March of 2021 due to Coronavirus. Scott, Nick and Cathy were amazing during our decision time and choosing a new date. We ended up having a very small ceremony and Scott and Tom were incredible making it possible through zoom to have music for the ceremony . I feel very lucky to have chosen them for our wedding. They are such an amazing group of people .. I can only imagine how hard they will work next year to make the redo wedding just perfect! We are so looking forward to having the full Craig Scott Band next year!!

I would highly recommend Craig Scott Entertainment. They have an array of talented musicians to choose from and it is a pleasure to work with them. We originally booked a band in December 2018 for my daughter's wedding that was supposed to be a few days from now which had to be postponed because of COVID-19. We rescheduled it for December 2020 and have again postponed it because of a possible resurgence of the virus. Scott was extremely accommodating, professional and pleasant, making an difficult experience much easier,

Classic and Beyond Talented Band!
We hired Rich and The Phase One Band (the 7 piece band) for our wedding reception at The Farmhouse in Hampton, NJ for our wedding in December 2021! We wanted live music that felt like a band for our simple and traditional/timeless wedding theme but also wanted everyone to have the best time celebrating with us. Rich and Phase One met all of that for us! From booking to our wedding day, Rich worked closely with us to meet all of our requests! We are both in the military and had extenuating circumstances with our jobs and being out of state but Rich and the team at Craig Scott went above and beyond to accommodate all of our needs and ensure everything was perfect for our wedding. On the day of our wedding, the band was absolutely amazing - they did the most wonderful job with our first dance and parents dance songs they learned specifically for our wedding, and everyone had so much fun. We have had countless guests during the wedding and afterwards who said it was the best wedding band they’ve ever listened to and so many wanted their contact info to hire them for upcoming events. It was truly the best wedding reception music experience and we recommend this team to everyone - it was beyond worth the investment!

Amazing band - wish I could hire them again!
We hired the Craig Scott Band for our wedding and we cannot say enough wonderful things about the band or the company. We contacted several bands at similar price points, and then some that charged a significantly higher fee than CSB, and each of the other bands paled in comparison in terms of sound and customer service.
From the moment we reached out to Craig Scott Entertainment about the availability for various bands, Scott (one of the owners) was incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful. We felt like the company was interested in putting on a great show for our wedding guests -- not just putting on a show and collecting a check and moving on to the next act.
When it came down to choosing our music, Nick (who is in the CSB and served as MC at our wedding) was patient, thorough, and organized. At our actual wedding, he kept things moving and under control, which was a huge stress relief for us.
Now, the band itself -- wow, wow, wow. Multiple guests told us after our wedding that the band was the best wedding band they ever had heard, and we have to agree. The band had everyone up on the dance floor throughout the night and read the room so well, knowing when to speed things up and when to slow things down.
Our only regret is that we didn't get to spend the entire night on the dance floor. If I could go back to the beginning of wedding planning and do it all over, hiring the CSB would have been my first decision. I would recommend them highly to any couple who wants to be blown away.

High Energy & So Much Fun!
We booked the Craig Scott Orchestra for our wedding and couldn't have had a better experience! From our first meeting with Scott, we knew this band was high energy and they care about the details.
