Cover Story was AMAZING at our wedding!!!

We got married on June 4th at Birchwood Vineyards. We had a guitarist playing while our guest settled in for the ceremony and a seven person band play our ceremony. Every single member was outstanding!! The guitarist chose the perfect songs to welcome our guests. Our ceremony was rained out so we had to move it inside. The band was able to get everything set up and ready to go during our cocktail hour! As for the reception, they were absolutely perfect. Chris went above and beyond to coordinate every detail with us and the band for a seamless night. Their timing was perfect from the introductions to the speeches to the first dances. They played calm yet upbeat music for dinner and then brought out the fun!! My husband and I both have music taste that is all over the place. We were worried that we would have to choose between hearing music we love and hearing music people would have fun dancing to. Chris addressed this concern with a questionnaire that was really fun to fill out together! He asked for a list of some songs we liked and some we didn't. He even gave us hundreds of song options to help us choose. Using that information and our preference in how the players sounded Chris chose the best band!!!! They had everyone dancing all night long. Our guests raved about them. They even learned how to play our favorite song to sing in the car acoustic which was a really special touch. The guitar player outdid himself with a solo the crowd was begging for. Even my grandmother said their music was appealing to all age groups. Lastly, I have to mention Chris. You can absolutely tell Chris loves what he does and cares for his customers. I was a nervous bride with a million questions and Chris would answer every single one as soon as possible. He was patient with my indecisiveness and walked me through anything I didn't understand. He's a super easy guy to talk to and is super organized. I would absolutely recommend Cover Story to any couple who want to work with a stress free vendor that really listens to what you want. Also to anyone who wants to have people dance the night away!!!

Absolutely Incredible – Worth Every Penny!

Cover Story Entertainment absolutely made our wedding. From start to finish, they were professional, reliable, and just plain fantastic. The entire band brought such great energy, and their ability to read the room and shift the vibe from high-energy dance hits to more intimate moments was spot on.

The band leader and singer, Alec, was not only incredibly talented but also extremely well-organized and accommodating. They were incredibly thoughtful throughout, even helping coordinate a special moment where I joined them on stage to play guitar. It all went so smoothly and added a really personal touch to the evening that made the day even more meaningful for both my wife and me.

Special shoutout to Jack, their phenomenal guitarist, who improvised some Jimi Hendrix during the reception after my wife mentioned I was a fan. That kind of attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond truly made the night feel special.

We’re beyond grateful to have found such a talented, thoughtful, and professional band. Our guests are still raving about the music and how fun the night was. I’d recommend Cover Story Entertainment to anyone looking for top-tier wedding entertainment. Truly worth every penny.

Great experience with CSE

CSE did a great job with our wedding! We had our ceremony and cocktail hour on the summit of a mountain, reachable via chairlift, which the team handled without a problem. And during the reception, they really got the crowd going!! Marlon was amazing!! And coordination by Chris and Elena was great. Thank you CSE!

10/10 Amazing Performance

Cover Story was absolutely amazing! From the prelude through the final encore song they came fully prepared and executed everything to perfection. The one thing that concerned us was you aren’t able to know for sure who your assigned musicians are until a few weeks before the wedding and even then they will reiterate that things can still change last minute due to unforeseen circumstances, This is totally understandable and we get that this is the structure of the group, but, if you are like us and prefer to know well in advance exactly who will be singing/performing, this unknown might be hard. Nonetheless, their pricing for a live band was very competitive and their review's were amazing so we trusted our gut and went with Cover Story. And we both are so incredibly glad we did. We went with a 5 piece band and ended up with a group of amazing musicians and two vocalists who were absolutely perfect for our wedding day. They all crushed it and were also very professional. We didn’t have to worry about a thing with them all day/night. They go over everything with you beforehand to make the day seamless and it did exactly that.

Thanks Cover Story for helping make our day a very special and memorable one for us and all our guests.

Incredible Wedding Band!

We got married a few weeks back and Cover Story was just unbelievable! My husband plays the guitar, so having a band was a must for us. Not only did the band bring the energy ALL NIGHT LONG, they coordinated to play a song with my husband on guitar. We selected the 5-piece band and every member was SO TALENTED! We have many musical people in our families and we are still receiving compliments on our band! The dance floor was literally full the ENTIRE NIGHT - highly recommend!!!

The center attraction!

Alex was an absolutely incredible DJ for our wedding! He set the perfect vibe from the start, reading the crowd effortlessly and keeping the energy high all night. The dance floor was packed, and he kept everyone dancing and having a fantastic time. Alex’s song choices were spot-on, and he was great at mixing in our personal requests with crowd favorites that kept the momentum going. He made our night unforgettable, and we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. Highly recommend Alex for any celebration if you want a night to remember!

If you want the focal point of your wedding to be the dancing and entertainment, look no further. We had so many people asking us where we found such an amazing band. At all times we had 90% of our wedding guests on the dance floor having the time of our lives. It was everything we had dreamed of and MORE!! Fantastic band!

Chris and Cover Story Entertainment were fantastic to work with. They were organized, clear in their planning and the band we had was AMAZING! The perfect wedding band!

Selecting Cover Story Entertainment was one of the best wedding decisions we made! We knew we wanted a high energy band, and Cover Story fits this description and more. Working with them was a breeze - they are incredible organized and professional, and make it very clear what is required from you to help plan. Their set list is extremely long, and you have the ability to help curate your musical vibe through your must plays and guidance to the band. Outstanding DJ Experience

We cannot recommend Cover Story Entertainment enough! We worked with Chris, Elena, and DJ Jake for our wedding and could not be happier with the experience. From start to finish, everything went smoothly and exceeded our expectations.

Logistics were flawless. We were able to outline our wishes in their very comprehensive wedding planning document. This made the entire process stress-free and ensured that everything was exactly how we envisioned. Even a challenging ceremony set up at the top of a ski mountain without electricity was no match for Cover Story, as the battery powered speaker and lapel mic worked perfectly.

The reception music was phenomenal. We didn't want to choose every song played, and DJ Jake understood our musical taste and preferences perfectly. Through our meeting with the DJ and the wedding planning document, they were able to craft a setlist that had our guests dancing all night long. The music was so good that our guests are still raving about it months after the wedding.

Overall, we couldn't be more satisfied with Chris and his team at Cover Story Entertainment and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a top-notch DJ for their event. Thank you for making our special day even more memorable!

Fantastic experience with Cover Story Entertainment

We had an excellent experience with CSE. They were easy to work with from the beginning and I found their pricing to be fair for the services rendered. They were flexible when it came to making changes to the engagement and made it easy to submit our requirements and needs. Amazing!

Working with Cover Story was such a great experience! Communication was great with Chris and his team to create the best experience for our wedding day! Our DJ, Alex was amazing!! Every song was on point to what we would want; our guests were dancing all night! Our solo musician Jack played for the guests arriving and cocktail hour and he made it so special as well. Amazing!!!

I wanted to express my absolute amazement at the fantastic job Phil and the Cover Story Entertainment team did during our Saturday night event. The high-energy music had everyone on their feet, and we received countless compliments from our guests about how phenomenal the band was. We specifically asked for no slow songs for our wedding. At least a dozen people asked us how we managed to find such a fantastic group!

For the music logistics, they did play a few songs on our do-not-play list (not the end of the world). I also said multiple times there was only one song we really cared they played, and then they didn't end up playing it. Lastly, for the father/daughter dance, they only told us 5 minutes before the dance that they couldn't play the song live, which would be played over a loudspeaker.

I only had some minor feedback on logistics specific to our venue, which CSE was responsive to. The only part I needed help with during the process was filling out their intake form; it was difficult to read/follow - I suggested the CSE team hire someone with a communications or user experience background to review it and update the form for future clients.
Overall, it was a 5/5 experience since the band brought so much energy to the party!

The BEST wedding band

We had an amazing experience with Cover Story Entertainment from initial planning to the wedding reception. Highly recommend! Nikki and the Cover Story band kept our guests on the dance floor all night long. Our guests raved about the phenonomenal song selection, talent and all-around great energy the band provided. They were pros at reading the room and engaging our guests. Chris and Elena are incredibly organized, responsive and a pleasure to work with. As a great preview, we enjoyed watching one of bands perform at Bell and Hand. The wedding planner document was amazing and ensured all details were confirmed and accounted for in advance. In addition to the reception, the band did a fantastic job with ceremony accoustics and AV support, MC'ing as well as providing uplighting. We will forever be grateful for the experience Cover Story provided.

Amazing Wedding Experience - Highly Recommend!

My wife and I saw Cover Story perform at a local bar in Boston and loved them. When we booked them for our wedding, they were kind, responsive, and extremely professional. Oh, and they are absolute rockstar musicians too!

We highly recommend Cover Story Entertainment to anyone looking to book a wedding DJ and acoustic musician! DJ Matthew and our acoustic musician Ezra were both were fantastic. Chris, Elena and the Cover Story team were so great to work with during our planning process - answering my endless questions, providing advice on timeline/song selection, etc. The planning calls with Elena and DJ Matthew in advance also helped us having confidence our day would be perfect. Talented musicians

Choosing the right band is one of the most crucial choices you'll make for the wedding -- and usually one of your larger investments. You can choose Cover Story Entertainment. The admin piece was extremely professional and punctual. There's extensive work done to put on a performance perfect for you and your guests. As for the musical talent -- wow. My musically inclined friends couldn't stop raving about how good they were. I think that says it all. Overall, highly recommend. Book them!

Wonderful sound, wonderful to work with!

We really agonized over our band decision because we couldn't hear anyone in person before making our selection. (We live out of state.) We're so glad we ultimately chose Cover Story! They were truly wonderful to work with, great communicators and I appreciated their pre-wedding planning calls. They requested detailed information from us so they could get everything right, and when the big night came, they were spectacular! So much fun, great sound, high energy. They did a great job editing our first dance song to fade at the right place and wrapped it up in a way that we weren't expecting but that worked so so well, so that our choreographed first dance ended on a flourish. We also got our ceremony harpist through Cover Story and she was excellent. Definitely worth every penny, we'd certainly hire them again if we need live music in the future!!

Amazing performance!

Cover story did an amazing job for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We had an acoustic player for the ceremony, and live band + DJ for the reception. The band brought awesome energy and put on an incredible show. We had a blast and the dance floor was packed all night.
Chris and team were also very helpful throughout the planning process, and incredibly organized, coordinating with our vendors ahead of time to make sure the day went smoothly.

Excellent Guitarist and DJ!

I highly recommend Cover Story Entertainment to anyone looking to book a wedding DJ and guitarist! DJ Nate and Jason our guitarist were fantastic. I cannot tell you how many guests commented on how talented Jason is and how great the ceremony and cocktail hour music was. Day of our wedding I got a text from Chris, owner of Cover Story, stating that our originally scheduled DJ had tested positive for Covid but not to worry because they had another DJ lined up and ready to go for us- as a bride I super appreciated that I didn't have to worry about this because Chris already had solved the issue and found a new DJ to MC our wedding reception. DJ Nate was awesome and even played a brand new (2 days old!) Taylor Swift song at my request. We had so much fun at our wedding reception thanks to Cover Story!! Highly recommend!

We had this company for our wedding and they did NOT disappoint!!! We went with both a live band and DJ - the dance floor was packed all night long! They did an amazing job with the ceremony music as well as an acoustic set for the cocktail hour. Chris was in touch with us for every detail and we could not have asked for a better person to see the entertainment through from beginning to end! 10/10.

Excellent!

Cover Story was wonderful to work with from start to finish! We decided on a 6 person band, which also included an MC for our reception. They are extremely organized and helpful with planning out the event. They are also very responsive and personable when I reached out with any questions. The MC was spot on for keeping out reception flowing and the band was quite a hit! They were truly excellent and got everyone out on the dance floor! They also played a special song we requested for my husband’s late father which was a special moment for us - I figured they’d just do a recording but they actually played the song even though it wasn’t on their set list - so awesome! I appreciated that they checked in with me to make sure everything was going the way I’d hoped (yes it was!) and if there was anything else they could do to make our day even better. We are so glad we picked Cover Story and received many comments on how good they were and what a great job they did. You won’t go wrong with them!

the BEST wedding band

Coverstory Entertainment made our wedding the BEST party! we received an overwhelming number of compliments on the band. they read the crowd and kept the high energy tunes coming. we may be biased but we are pretty sure we had the most fun dancefloor out of all the weddings we've been to thanks to Coverstory. extremely talented musicians! and the communication leading up to the big day with band leader, Chris, is phenomenal!

Incredible band!

We recently had Cover Story Entertainment for our wedding band. They were incredible!!! Super professional, responsive, and the music was fantastic. Finding a good wedding band was super important to me, and Cover Story did not disappoint! The guests were all very complimentary too. The dance floor was full all night. Awesome!!! Chris and team have the wedding planning process and wedding day execution down to a science. We opted for live music during our cocktail hour and DJ set for the reception. Brooke & Fil

Brooke and Fil were absolutely amazing!! Fil came with a color-coded spreadsheet (my love language), walked us through everything for the evening, was really on top of schedule changes, and made great suggestions about moving speeches and other moments around to get the best flow for the evening. The whole band had such amazing energy and kept us dancing until the minute we had to turn off the amp for a local curfew time. All of our guests were enthralled and so complimentary all night - and still talking about the experience in the morning! One of our guests was moved nearly to tears every time the saxophone player had a solo, and is not-so-secretly hoping he can fly the whole band down to his wedding next year in Florida. We are so so glad we chose Brooke and Fil with Cover Story - 100% would recommend!!

Chris and Elena (behind the scenes for booking and planning for the months leading up to our wedding) were really accessible and ready to answer the dozens of questions we had. The planning document they provided ended up being our skeleton schedule to help everything else fall into place throughout the evening. We didn’t hire a planner, so that was incredibly beneficial.

Best Dance Party!

I cannot be any happier that we hired Cover Story for our wedding! The dance floor was absolutely packed the entire night and I am still getting compliments from guests about how great the music was. I truly had the best time dancing the night away and Cover Story made my party complete. Their customer service was also amazing. They were always kind and helpful, even when I made some last minute changes to my plans (they were able to jump in and do videography and add uplighting for me when I decided to add on these services a few weeks before my wedding). I am beyond grateful that we chose Cover Story. Highly recommend!

Best Wedding Band Ever!!

We truly could not have imagined a better band and setlist for our wedding! Cover Story was amazing to work with and super detailed in their planning of your special day. They worked seamlessly with the venue on the day of and they played the entire night long. Best band ever!

We are beyond happy with our experience with Cover Story!!! They made our wedding absolutely incredible!! Our guests started dancing before the food was even served and didn't stop until we were thrown out!! They kept the energy high, played a variety of songs, and created such a fun atmosphere!!!

Awesome Wedding Band

Best Possible Band Experience - Highly Recommend

I cant give enough praise and thanks to Chris Troxell and Cover Story for making our wedding so amazing! The band literally played all night ( I only saw them take one break!). You need to book this band!

Cover Story is amazing! We come from a big musical family and having a stellar band was a non-negotiable. Due to COVID we had to ultimately cancel our wedding, however we still wanted to leave a 5 star review for how great we think they are. Chris was always very communicative, professional, and flexible throughout all of our coordination. We really loved the selection and variety of songs the band offers and how organized and straightforward the selection process was for the different moments of the night (intros, first dances, cake cutting, etc.). Some of our family members were able to scope Cover Story out live before we'd booked - and they absolutely raved about the skill level and fun vibes the band gave off. Our recommendation is do not hesitate to book them for your next event!

Exclamation point on a perfect event

Coverstory were a pleasure to work with and made our big day truly special.

We hired them for acoustic guitar for the ceremony & dinner (tremendous touch and he even played songs we had requested), piano during cocktail hour, uplighting, and most importantly DJ.

Omari was the DJ and kept the night moving from the second the dancing started. The dance floor was full the entire night and the music was everything we could have asked for and more.

I highly recommend cover story without hesitation.

Worth every single penny—and more!

Cover Story was amazing. We got the full band service, and not one part of me regrets dedicating part of our budget to them. These musicians are so talented, and they know how to play together (because they do it all the time! It's not just a bunch of random people assigned the week of). They were full of energy and so much fun. I loved the way they came onto the dance floor and engaged with me, my husband, and our friends and family. We had 50+ people on the dance floor for 3 hours straight because it was just such a good time. I miss it, and I hope to get to Portsmouth or Boston to see one of their non-wedding shows soon. Thanks so much, Chris and team! The entire experience from start to finish was great.

Fantastic Band!!

Cover Story Entertainment was amazing! My wedding was over Labor Day and our guests are still commenting on how fabulous the band was. I can't say enough good things about Kyle Champeon, the vocalist Katie, and the band- they got people up and dancing almost as soon as they started playing! Katie's voice is phenomenal and Kyle and the band were just awesome and read the energy of the room well. We extended the wedding past the planned end time because everyone was having so much fun dancing. I recommend them 150%!!! Chris is very easy to work with and responsive and transparent with all details. Definitely 5 stars!

Cover Story was responsive, professional and prompt from beginning to end. And they sounded amazing. Our goal was for every wedding guest to be on the dance floor and Cover Story delivered. Lively, Fun and Very Accommodating

Chris and Cover Story were really easy to work with - from the initial calls to discuss our style, meeting up to preview the band at a show, tailoring the set list, working in a special dance and allowing a family member to play a few songs. We had our first dance choreographed and they nailed the song timing having only seen us practice on video. They were on time, very professional, yet fun and knew how to work the crowd so everyone had a blast. The ceremony music and cocktail hour was perfect background and then they came alive during the reception. Their sound is great and versatile and energy is viral - so much that people got up in the middle of dinner to dance and stayed there all night. (+ an unexpected encore!)

Cover Story gets my highest of recommendations. So many guests gave us shout outs after the wedding about them!

the best night of our lives

Do not let the reasonable price confuse you - this is a top notch band. Our guests were blown away by their awesome performance and they had us dancing all night. Chris was really professional and easy to work with through the planning process. They had me screaming (almost crying) at how they absolutely nailed our song requests. Unbelievable!!!!

Chris and the band made our wedding night unforgettable!!! We were hesitant at first about splurging on a band rather than going with a DJ, but we were SO glad we went for it and picked Cover Story. Chris kept our families and entire bridal party organized and on cue for the introductions- which was so helpful.
Not only was the team professional and organized from start to finish- but they kept everyone on the dance floor for HOURS. Seriously, the dance floor was packed all night, which is exactly what we wanted! Even my grandpa who has severe arthritis got up there and danced with us! Their energy and talent was palpable. My feet ached at the end of the night (a good sign) but I was beyond happy with the outcome. They sounded incredible, and even played a couple extra songs for us as an encore because everyone was having such a great time. They played exactly the style of music we asked for and kept the energy alive all night. They took maybe 1-2 breaks for 10 minutes or so, and had a DJ playing during those times, which was perfect and a great chance to play some fun dance songs.
The search for a band can be super overwhelming- but seriously, you will not be disappointed with this band.
I cannot recommend Cover Story highly enough!!

Easy to work with, a hit with our guests!

While our final deposit was delayed in getting to its final destination by
mail, Chris was adamant that we should not have to worry about that the

Book Them!!

Where do I even begin! Cover Story was amazing from start to finish at our wedding 11/10/18. Chris was excellent to deal with throughout the entire process and so was the rest of their team. They were on top of everything to make sure everything was perfect. Our wedding was amazing and we owe that to cover story. From the moment the dance floor opened, no one sat down the entire night. My husband is a drummer and they allowed him to sit in with the band which was really nice and definitely a really memorable moment. Our guests had so much fun and I keep hearing 'your band was awesome!' They really exceeded our expectations. We would recommend Cover Story to anyone! They were the highlight of our wedding! Cover Story was awesome! They performed at my brother's wedding in 2015 and we used them again for all of our music – acoustic guitar for outdoor ceremony, keyboard and vocalist for cocktail hour, and a full band with extra horns for our indoor barn reception – at our wedding in the Berkshires. Chris was so easy and flexible to work with for planning and logistics. And the quality of the vocalists, which was very important to me, is really awesome live – a lot better than the recorded videos you can watch online. Cover Story feels like a hidden gem given their quality and their very reasonable price point relative to other bands.

We had our wedding this past weekend and we truly could not recommend Cover Story more. We initially went to see them play in Portsmouth. Chris took the time to introduce himself and hear about our wedding. During planning they were extremely responsive and answered all of our questions. On the actual night of our wedding the band was truly phenomonal. They accommodated all of our requests and even learned to play specific songs that were important to us. The dance floor was packed from the moment they started and playing and they never even took a break. They totally understood our vision of what we were looking for. Cover Story Band was an absolute blast, and we’re more than happy that they were able to perform at our Wedding. They were both professional and fun. We received numerous compliments from our guests about Cover Story, and we couldn’t envision a better experience. My wife is from Brazil and they were able to accommodate Bossa Nova style music for cocktail hour and even played a few extra Brazilian songs throughout the evening.

In addition to the band and DJ, we used their up-lighting and Photobooth services - which put everything over the top. The up-lighting provided a warm ambiance and the photobooth produced endless entertainment for our guests. We received a completed photobooth albulm - which is always great to look over after the wedding.

We want to thank Chris and the Band for helping make our special day a little bit extra special.

We hired Cover Story 4 to play at my husbands 40th birthday party. They were truly amazing and completely exceeded our expectations. They played everything we could have wanted them to play and very well too. The singer especially blew us away. He will be famous one day. :) Thanks again. Hire this band!

Wow, where to start?! My wife and I planned our wedding from across the country, so picking a band was no easy task. We relied upon previous reviews of Cover Story 2.0 and videos on YouTube. We were obviously a little nervous when the big day came around, but every single second the band was performing was absolutely amazing. They did an amazing job keeping the flow of the wedding between speeches, dinner, and dancing. They kept the mood going, playing a wide variety of music. Our guests were on the dance floor the entire evening. The acoustic guitar during our cocktail hour was also a solid touch.

Working with Chris and team before the wedding was also extremely easy. He kept it honest, and guided us through the whole process. We were so impressed by the performance, AND the band was well within our budget. Would highly recommend to any couple looking for a kick ass band to play your wedding.

We worked with Chris and some of the other members of Cover Story for our wedding and we cannot say enough great things about all of them! Everyone was so responsive, patient, and they are an amazing band/DJ combo! We absolutely loved all the services they provided for our wedding!!! Cover Story 2.0 was incredible and completely exceeded our expectations! They covered everything from ceremony music, acoustic sets at the cocktail hours, and reception music and it was all done seamlessly. If you're looking for a band that can play some great danceable, funky rock and roll and tailor it to your preferred flavor, Cover Story is perfect. The dance floor is guaranteed to be crowded all night. They are extremely professional and accommodating, and will help you make sure that you've thought out every part of the night so that you won't need to worry at all during the event.

We loved working with Cover Story! They made our reception into an unforgettable party with their amazing ability to know what songs to sing to keep everyone on the dance floor all night long. We had so many of our guests tell us that they have never danced so much before at a wedding and how much they loved our band. If you're looking for a band that can literally DO IT ALL, then you have found the right band. From the first phone call through the end of the evening, Chris, Tiffany, and the entire band, never ceased to amaze us. My husband and I planned our December wedding in Salem, MA while living in Baltimore, MD. Planning from a distance can be challenging, especially when it comes to the live entertainment at your wedding. I needed a band that was not only talented and energetic, but organized and communicative. Cover Story was that, and more.
They are incredibly versatile, with a HUGE play list to select from. With 165 people at our wedding, ranging in age and music taste, it's really difficult to know what the crowd will react to. I can tell you that almost ALL 165 people at our wedding were on the dance floor at one point or another. My 93 year old grandmother tapped her feet all the way til the last song! The band read the crowd so well, while still keeping in mind my husband and my requests. We had to basically force our guests sit down for a minute and eat their meals....A problem that I was more than happy to have.
From an organization perspective, I think you'd be hard pressed to find a more organized crew. We had a minor issue with our "day of" coordinator, and Chris and Tiffany really took the reigns and made sure that everything flowed well and went off without a hitch. We had a very energetic bunch, and they not only worked with it, they worked off of it and kept everything under control while still keeping things exciting (they even allowed my not-so-talented husband and his best friend sing their favorite karaoke song, My Girl, with them very early in the evening).
All of our guests were SO impressed. They are still talking about the band and how awesome they are. My sister is now hiring them for her wedding in September! We are so lucky to have found such a talented, amazing band!

Exceptional. Everyone was commenting how good Cover Story was for weeks following the wedding. Every chair was empty and the dance floor was full. Booking Chris and Tiffany for our wedding was the best decision we made.

Absolutely fabulous; worth every penny. I'd book these guys again in a heartbeat. They went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was just how we pictured it, right down to learning our first dance song on acoustic guitar two weeks before the wedding. Cover story was amazing! They had played at my friends wedding and I knew they were the one to choose. Chris and Tiffany were so easy to work with and accommodating; they were able to play a song while my friend sang for us. I went through Cover Story to book an act for my residents at a pediatric center for people with Severe disabilities. They were very professional, got back to me quickly, and arranged an amazing show that all of my residents and their families are still raving about. If you need quality entertainment for any event I would HIGHLY recommend going through Cover story.

Cover Story went above and beyond at our wedding and during our planning. They were extremely easy to work with and very responsive throughout the process. My husband and I are both musicians so we were very picky about the music for our wedding. When we met Chris and Tiffany and the group in person, we were thrilled to find that not only are they a killer band, they are incredibly supportive and encouraging of local musicians.

At the wedding, Chris and his team rolled with some crazy punches and handled everything calmly and professionally. Everyone at the wedding was blown away by the group's musicianship, energy, and professionalism. Every member of the group is so talented and excited about what they do. I would hands down recommend them for any event! They made our day completely unforgettable and gave us a sense of musical camaraderie that we have been missing.

Cover Story II

We contracted Cover Story II to play at our ceremony, cocktail and reception at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum in late August. We were impressed with their performance and interaction during our special day. It was also pleasant to hear from our guests that they enjoyed the band during our wedding. After all, we know this is not an inexpensive accent to any event and were super happy with the outcome! Their professionalism and expertise in their talent really stood out. While the distribution of age in our wedding party covered the gamut, they had a great read of the crowd and managed to get everyone off their chairs and onto the dance floor. They also managed to learn to play our first dance song live in a week, which was also a bonus for us! Overall these guys left us with such a fun memory of our wedding day! We absolutely recommend this company/group!

AMAZING!!! As soon as we started wedding planning, my husband and I agreed that a band was our top priority...so we did A LOT of research! So happy that we decided on Cover Story Entertainment. We live in Germany but got married in Maine...but the distance proved not to be a problem in maintaining a strong communication. All of my emails were answered promptly and Chris even FaceTimed with us a couple times so that we could discuss our plans further. They really do an incredible job at understanding what your vision is for your wedding day and do everything they can to make it happen: Tiffany set up a phone appointment the week before our wedding to go over details and Chris met with my best friend to rehearse a song I had asked her to sing at the ceremony. We told them we wanted a PARTY and to get everyone dancing....and they did deliver! All of our guests are still raving about what a great band we had and how much fun it was dancing all night! Thank you for everything.....it was perfect!

We cannot say enough great things about this fantastic band! They were so responsive to our questions throughout the planning process, and delivered more than we could have asked for on our wedding day. Chris was very involved on the wedding day where, at times, it felt as if he were doing more coordinating than our actual event coordinator! He was very thoughtful of our wishes and made sure to meet them. He even showed us how to properly cut the cake which we will always remember. :) The band brought down the house with their incredible music and talent. Everyone had such a blast and no one wanted to go home! We highly recommend Cover Story Entertainment. Wish we could do it all over again!

Cover Story absolutely MADE our wedding. Our biggest priority was having a band that would get everyone dancing ALL night long, and Cover Story did NOT disappoint! Chris, Tiffany & their team were absolutely incredible. Extremely professional throughout the whole process, and lived up to the rave reviews we read about before hand. We got married about 3 months ago now and people are STILL talking about how awesome the band was. Everything about it was perfect. we even used their add on Videography service where Tiffany came out to videotape our ENTIRE wedding. It was absolutely unbelievable. The whole Cover Story team went above and beyond and we couldn't have asked for more! I would recommend them to anyone.

Cover Story 3.0 with Fil Pacino was excellent! We had them for our Newport Wedding ceremony and reception in June, 2016. They were great to work with and accommodated some special requests that we had with going "unplugged" for a few hours. FIl and Melissa sounded great and they kept our guests up dancing for the entire reception. I highly recommend them for your wedding!

Professionalism and quality equals a great time! The Omni Mount Washington Resort in Bretton Woods, NH has booked Cover Story Entertainment for three consecutive years and each year somehow is always better than the last. The energy, atmosphere and excitement that they invoke in their audience is something not often seen by a smaller band. Their music is modern, the professionalism is top notch, the only disappointment you will experience is when the function is over. Book them! Go ahead and do it already! Let them help make your event special!

I found Cover Story Entertainment while searching for bands. I had considered some other bands that were recommended to me, but they were quite a bit more expensive and also did not offer as much in their package as Cover Story Entertainment does (including one hour less of playing time - meaning I would have to pay 2 hours of overtime had I gone with one of those bands). Cover Story Entertainment also has multiple videos of the band playing at actual weddings and no overproduced "music videos". There are also multiple tracks on their website to listen to. I spoke with Chris (band member/manager) on the phone prior to seeing them live. I had a lot of questions which he was able to answer without hesitation. My fiancé and I could tell how organized and professional they were even over the phone! When we went to see the band live, Chris met with us and had a folder ready for us. We were very impressed with the bands organization and professionalism. They sounded amazing, despite playing in a bar that doesn't have the best acoustics and equipment. We booked them that night!! I love our wedding band so much that I can not wait for our wedding! I often listen to their tracks online while driving or cleaning. We even went to another bar they played at recently to see them live again! You can tell that Chris and Tiffany and the other band members really care and want to make your wedding/event amazing. Their base package includes so much more for their competitive price. I honestly think they sound better than all of the other more expensive bands that we considered. Having a band at our wedding was one of my must haves! I'm so happy we were able to find such and amazing band that fits into our budget!

I'm updating my review as I also used the DJ services for my wedding. Easy to say that DJ John Cardona absolutely nailed it. I wasn't expecting the jam-packed dance floor all evening, but he somehow worked his magic and made it happen. I had people telling me all throughout the evening that "The DJ is AWESOME!!". He had seamless transitions between songs and could read the crowd so well. I'm so thrilled with the outcome. We also had a musician playing during cocktail hour and the meal and he was superb! It was just the right tone in the background and set such good vibes for a wonderful evening. I'm honestly trying to come up with another event so I can utilize Cover Story's services again- they are a class act.

This group is phenomenal - they have it all! They are extremely talented musicians and have a huge range of songs. I think one of the biggest things to set them apart is their ability to read the room SO effectively. We had a diverse crowds in age and backgrounds and they had the dance floor filled the entire night! They are pros - I can only hope that we'll have another event where we can hire them again soon.

What a fantastic experience we had with Cover Story. Three months after the wedding people are still talking about how great the band was. Chris and Tiffany were great to work with. They took us step by step over everything that would happen. They also were available at any time to answer all of our questions. Fil and the rest of the band were awesome. We went over the type of music we wanted and they exceeded our expectations. They had a great sense for the type of music our guests wanted to hear. During the band breaks Cover Story provided its DJ to keep the party going and people out on the dance floor. During our ceremony the singers sang two beautiful songs that we selected. They did a great job with the sound system and making sure everyone could hear everything perfectly. Finally, Tiffany captured moments from the ceremony and reception on video and we ended up purchasing the video which had so many great memories that couldn't be captured with a still picture. Can't rave enough about how great our experience was with Cover Story

Cover story is literally the best. Super accommodating, easy going, and they make the event so incredibly personal. I have seen them as a guest at a friend's wedding and my (now) wife and I have worked with them on the other end after hiring them for our wedding and we couldn't be happier.
