How do you know a band is truly great? When they get hired not just for your own wedding, but also your sister’s, your brother’s, and multiple friends’ events. Cover Me Badd is that band. You gotta have them there. They know exactly how to read a crowd, play what people want to hear, and bring an incredible mix of energy, talent, and personality. Their crowd work was a huge hit—people loved joining in, and the dance floor was full from the first song to the last.
From start to finish, the entire process was phenomenal. Mike was organized, responsive, and genuinely flexible in helping us tailor the music to our day and was a great MC throughout the day. Their range is unbelievable, and they even learned our first-dance song just for us.
There’s no question we’ll be talking about Cover Me Badd for years to come. Highly, highly recommend. -

We hired Cover Me Badd for our wedding and they were amazing!! Mike was a great MC - very professional and kept our guests entertained - and the entire band was such a hit for our wedding. Their sound was super high quality, their dance moves and energy were vibrant, and our guests wouldn't stop talking about what a fun cover band it was and was a total. The dance floor was bumping the entire night, and was filled with our guests of all ages. Even our friends' 3 year old stayed up dancing the night away. I wish we could have another wedding so that we could hire Cover Me Badd all over again :) -

Cover Me Badd did such a great job at our wedding in Tahoe. Mike was extremely professional, organized, and helped us out every step of the way. The band rocked the house and sounded great. If I can give brides one piece of advice for their upcoming weddings it would be to HIRE COVER ME BADD. This band MADE our wedding. From the pre-wedding meet and greet to the actual day of, Mike was so organized, thoughtful, hilarious and awesome. He got to know my fiancee and I as a couple, got to know what songs we're into and what music is meaningful to us. He was an incredible emcee throughout the entire event. The whole band is so talented! They played the best music from all genres & created a super fun atmosphere for our guests. I even crowd surfed at one point! No one wanted to leave the dance floor. They were super interactive and entertaining, and got everyone from all ages moving and grooving. What a party!! Shouting their names from the rooftops and would recommend them to anyone looking for an incredible / memorable night of fun and awesome music! -

A band? Who actually hires a band for a wedding?!
Welp, we did and it was the BEST investment we made for our wedding.
I believe many brides get caught up in the little things, like flowers, decorations, favors, etc. but what your guests truly care about is the food, alcohol, and ENTERTAINMENT. That is where we chose to allocate the majority of our budget and it was well worth it!
Cover Me Badd literally made our wedding the most fun, upbeat, and lively wedding. I've had so many people calling and texting me just to tell me our band was legit!
Cover Me Badd was punctual, dressed to the T, easy to work with, had a vibrant vibe, and all sweet and talented people. They accommodated every request we had and even did some on the spot additions. They provided a sound engineer which not only walked around the entire time checking to make sure the music was sounding on point, but also hyped the crowd.
Cover Me Badd was interactive, fun, energetic, and they sounded AMAZING! They worked the crowd, did guitar highlights, brought the crowd up onstage, and truly had the guests up and out of their chairs dancing all night line.
Take it from me, someone who has been to a million weddings... I have never seen entertainment as impressive as Cover Me Badd. -

If there was one part of the wedding I was willing to go full "Groom-zilla" over, it was the entertainment. My wife and I LOVE music and we searched far and wide for the best wedding band (or DJ). To be 100% honest, we were skeptical about Cover Me Badd with only grainy YouTube videos and some cheesy promo videos to preview. However, after catching a live performance in Sacramento, we were 100% sold. Trust me when I say: these guys throw DOWN! It was a nonstop dance party from start to finish, and our guests are still raving about it. They have it all from the old school funky classics to the new jams. Aside from the band's performance, Mike was by far the BEST vendor we worked with. He was communicative, flexible, and friendly through every moment. It's been said here before, but I'll say it again: book Cover Me Badd. You won't regret it. -

Cover Me Badd was the best! We couldn't have asked for a better wedding band, they had the dance floor full from the first song to the end of the night. You could tell they had a lot of experience and played the right songs at the right times. They helped with our audio throughout the whole wedding day and it was all done seamlessly.
Mike was also great to work with, very responsive and they had all the details covered. Everything felt very smooth and easy so there was no stress on our wedding day and we could relax and enjoy ourselves.
We had a great time and highly recommend them. -

Hands down the highlight of my entire wedding (after marrying the love of my life, of course). We had such a blast on the dance floor, and the party remained on the dance floor all night thanks to Cover Me Badd! I cannot get over the huge range of songs the group covered flawlessly. They also had amazing dance moves and had fun ways of seemingly keeping the party going. If you're debating on who to hire for your special event, don't think twice about hiring Cover Me Badd. Just do it. You will not regret it! -

Cover Me Badd is your band! We took a risk booking them for our wedding because we hadn't seen them perform live so had to trust their reviews but I AM SO GLAD WE DID! All the great reviews are 100% accurate. This band made my wedding spectacular! I was initially worried because a lot of the younger people who would normally be the ones dancing got sick and couldn't make it but let me tell you, this band has the energy to get guests of all ages to get up and dance all night. My mother in-law said she kept wanting to go grab a drink or sit down for a break and just couldn't because every song they played was so much fun. They were so flexible when I asked them to make some last minute changes and made everything look so seamless. If you are looking for a band that guarantee's the night of your life, book Cover me Badd. Trust me, you wont regret it! -

Cover Me Badd and Mike made our wedding entertainment and over all experience surpass even our wildest dreams!! Hands down! Mike is so easy to work with and genuinely cares about your needs and wanting to make your wedding the best for YOU! We loved working with him and the rest of the band. Mike handled all of our MC needs and ceremony sound needs with ease while also keeping guests and the party going! Then once the band came on not a single person was sitting down. When I say everyone I mean EVERYONE was dancing!!! They hit songs we requested and then blew us out with ones we didnt know we needed to dance to!! We could not of had the wedding we had without with CMB. Stop searching you have found your wedding band and it is CMB! Book them now! Cover Me Badd was absolutely phenomenal and I couldn't recommend them more. Not only was Mike a dream to work with from start to finish, but their performance on our wedding day was jaw dropping. I remember stating "they dance too??" when they broke out in a choreographed dance during one of their songs. They had us and our guests on the dance floor the entire performance.
Our wedding that was planned in Lake Tahoe got cancelled three days before due to wildfires. We quickly planned a new wedding in Sonoma, CA and Mike and the band didn't even hesitate when we told them about the last minute change of plans. They immediately agreed to travel to Sonoma for the new location and even adjusted our timeline, arranged everything with our new venue and made the wedding happen. We couldn't have asked for a better band to perform at our wedding and I just hope I get to see them perform again soon. -

Cover Me Badd performed at our wedding and I could not recommend them more!! What a wonderful night we had with them! They are seriously out of this world and absolutely ROCKED out! Mike, the organizer, met with us several times before the wedding to nail down our hopes for what the night would look like. They had a very simple way of collecting all the songs we wanted to hear and all other important info to make it the night of our dreams. The wedding night was an absolute BLAST- I have never seen such a party on the dance floor before. They also played live acoustic music for our ceremony. They played the perfect combo of oldies, current music, and even learned new songs that we recommended. They were so kind, so fun, and had so many cute additions like the anniversary dance, wedding party walk-in, etc. that just made it so so special. They were willing to work with our personal preferences and just made it so personalized for us. To say they went above and beyond is an understatement. We cannot recommend them enough- they will be sure to make your night unforgettable!!!! -

Mike and his band made our wedding feel like some of our best friends were handling the entertainment. The night itself exceeded high expectations (we had already seen them at two weddings). They were enthusiastic from wire to wire and had some exciting surprises along the way. In the weeks leading up to "our big day" Mike was super engaged and encouraging. He was easy and fun to brainstorm with in order to bring our vision to life, a crucial part of the process. We first experienced Cover Me Badd at a friend's dauther's wedding last September (2018). I loved the energy and the emphasis on vocals. The band consists of six members and three are singers. Knowing that this was a very good option for my own daughter's upcoming wedding, I reached out to Mike Woodall and began the conversation. Mike responds so quickly and professionally that you quickly gain confidence that this is going to be an excellent partnership. At the September wedding, I was so amazed at how the band got both the Boomer generation and the Millennials out on the dance floor. An expansive song list that covers many genres and generations. My daughter and her fiance signed on and Mike took over correspondence with them. He handled the DJ duties for the ceremony, provided the sound for the cocktail reception and dinner. Did the MC duties to introduce the speakers and first dances. He even edited down some of the songs to an appropriate length. And he did everything to a crisply-timed schedule that kept the wedding reception moving at an enjoyable pace. Once the music started, the dance floor filled up and the energy kept the guests moving throughout the night. Even off the dance floor, I could see the people tapping their feet while they were talking. I cannot put into words how happy I am that we chose Cover Me Badd for our special day. -

Book now! Incredible group
These guys/girls absolutely CRUSHED it! Our reception was spent entirely on the dance floor dancing and singing our hearts out. Everyone (kids, friends and parents) loved them - their catalogue includes hits for everyone. We have yet to run into anyone who came to the wedding that didn't tell us they were the best wedding band they've heard. I'd recommend them 100 times out of 100 times and then another 10 just because they turned it up to 11 ;) -

I cannot say enough nice things about Cover Me Badd!!! Working with them was so easy, Mike responded so quickly to all of my questions, and was always so friendly and willing to help and answer questions. The performance was absolutely amazing! Every wedding guest (even the non-dancers) were on the floor dancing the whole time, and so many guests told us it was the most fun they'd ever had at a wedding. Yes, a live band is more expensive than a DJ, but it my opinion - it was the best money we spent on the wedding, and they absolutely MADE the night. -

We wanted our wedding to be the most fun ever- and people kept telling us it was all night and after! We honestly couldn't get over how amazing they were, and all of our friends and family couldn't stop saying how great the band was. It was, without a doubt, the most fun party of our lives thanks to CMB.
As others have mentioned, Mike is an incredible coordinator and potentially the most responsive and professional person I have ever encountered in personal/professional life. We had an incredible experience from start to finish with Mike and the group, and we were SO glad we had them. Thank you Mike and CMB for making our wedding absolutely the most fun ever! -

Danette Sent on 07/31/2018I can't imagine what our reception would've been like without Cover Me Badd. From the beginning of the planning, Mike was so helpful and easy to work with. He was our emcee and everything went so smoothly all night long. They provided our recorded music for cocktail hour and dinner. I absolutely loved and appreciated how they worked behind the scenes with our photographer to coordinate some amazing shots throughout the whole night. The music was just fantastic. Our guests had so much fun and we all packed the dance floor until the very last song (which by the way will be a very special memory for us forever). The way the band was able to include us on stage was so cool. We really felt that they worked hard to personalize everything and make the night about our guests and us having the time of our lives. They played all the songs we wanted and each rendition sounded awesome. With four different singers they were able to sing every genre flawlessly! I am so happy with our decision to go with a live band...especially this band!

Nicole Sent on 03/08/2018To say the band can make or break the wedding is an understatement. It can be easy to overlook the influence that a comfortable and confident MC has on the overall impact of your day, and Cover Me Badd brought our wedding to life and set the night on fire.
A year before our wedding we had the pleasure of attending another wedding with Cover Me Badd as their band. As night fell and the music began the excitement among their guests was like nothing we had ever experienced at a wedding. That evening we spoke with Mike, got their contact information, and the rest is history.
Every guest that attended our wedding exclaimed that they too had never seen a band of this caliber. Even our wedding venue coordinators said that this was the best band they had seen play at their venue.
As for the logistics, Mike handled our wedding with such ease and professionalism. Every conversation we had made us feel more assured he would come through on our big day. There was not a single hiccup, each transition was perfectly timed, and he worked with our venders and venue team to make sure we didn’t have to think about a single thing all day.
We cannot thank Mike and the band enough for every moment they spent making our day immaculate. You truly have a gift and we hope many others will get the same privilege as we did. -

Bianca Sent on 08/01/2016We can't recommend Cover Me Badd enough! First off, Mike was incredibly helpful and responsive leading up to the wedding. We knew we were in good hands since day 1, and he made sure that we were completely on the same page heading into the wedding. We had an idea on some of the music we wanted to hear during the day, but Mike has lots of fantastic recommendations making it easy for us to make the day perfect. The day itself was amazing - with many thanks going to Mike and his band. Many bands/venues recommend that you hire a DJ in addition to a band, but Mike and the Cover Me Badd crew could do it all - and did it all perfectly. The band played with my now husband and his brother as a special surprise performance dedicated to their parents (they learned some songs for us for this!) - it was one of the the highlights of our day. I can't even begin to describe how awesome the band's actual performance was! Our guests absolutely LOVED Cover Me Badd! Whether our guests were sitting and watching the performance from a distance or if they were jumping around on the dance floor like most of our guests, Cover Me Badd made our wedding one that our friends and family won't ever forget (and they are still talking about them now almost a month later)! We can't thank Mike and the Cover Me Badd crew enough for making our day everything we dreamed of and more! :)
