  Karen is Wonderful

  Karen with CoverGirl Brides came to our small Air BnB and did my hair and make up for my elopement and she did an amazing job! She gave me exactly what I asked for! She was on time and very pleasant and accommodating. Not to mention my hair and make-up looked great for my big day. She air brushed my makeup on; which was an amazing experience and it looked great.

  Karen did such an amazing job with my hair and makeup. She was very friendly and was able to take my inspiration photos and style my hair beautifully. I also had airbrush makeup done, which lasted all day. It looked flawless and covered any blemishes, making my skin look amazing for my wedding day. She was so fun to talk to and helped me relax before the ceremony. She also took on my mother and the groom's mother. My mother was so pleased with the service. Karen had such a blast making my mom feel special and beautiful. By the end of the session, my mom looked like my sister because she looked so young and beautiful. The groom's mother also got her hair done, which she absolutely loved. It looked exactly like the inspiration picture she provided. Karen did such a great job and I cannot recommend her enough. Go with Cover Girl Brides and you'll get professional, expert makeup and hair styling for your special day!

  Karen was fantastic leading up to and on my wedding day! We did a trial run and she made great recommendations for ways to look even more gorgeous! The day of the wedding she was very efficient and professional and made me and all of my bridesmaids and the mothers look absolutely breathtaking! The airbrushed make up she used was not heavy at all and my low updo stayed throughout the night. We received many compliments on how great we looked and it wouldn't have been possible without Karen.

  Karen definitely knows what she is doing. From the moment she walked into the door, she made all of us girls feel beautiful and special. I could not have been more happy with the turnout of my hair and makeup for my wedding day. She really made me look flawless and feel absolutely perfect!   Went this past weekend for my hair and makeup trial and wow, Karen is amazing! I am getting married in June and went in there with a totally different idea for my hair. She worked her magic and I left beyond satisfied and very excited! Not only is she gorgeous, but she made me feel that way as well. Highly recommend!!!

  Karen is a sweetheart! She is this absolutely stunningly beautiful woman with a heart of gold! We got along instantly! She makes you feel so comfortable and at ease right before your big moment. She did my hair and makeup as well as my two bridesmaids hair and makeup. We were all extremely happy with the results! I did end up putting a little more light powder under my eyes right before the wedding because I have such light skin that I tend to have dark circles under my eyes if I don't. But my eyes looked amazing! They really popped! She even took her time to tell me what I could use, as far as lipstick, of what I already owned, to recreate the lip look later.   I love, love, love Karen!! I can’t say enough great things about her. She made me feel absolutely beautiful for one of the most important days! She did an amazing job for my trial run and wedding hair! When I met Karen on the day of my trial run, I did not have any pictures of the style I wanted but knew I wanted a side ponytail. She immediately suggested hair extensions and it was the best decision! I was so glad I went with her advice because the finished outcome was even better than I had envisioned.
  
  On my wedding day, Karen arrived early and worked happily the entire time. She was prepared and did not rush at all! My hair and makeup looked just as great as it did at the trial run. For the most part, it stayed all night, even after the tears and all of my dance moves! I received so many compliments from my husband and all the guests!
  
  I had five bridesmaids and Karen also did their hair and makeup as well. She was really good at balancing the hairstyles to fit each woman while maintaining a look for the overall vibe of the wedding which was perfect.
  
  Karen is very easy to work with; she is professional, personable, and very friendly. She is also timely with answering her emails or calls. In the end, she did a phenomenal job with my hair and makeup.
  
  If you're looking for someone who has the artistic ability to see the end result before she even starts, someone who has a real passion for all things hair and beauty you should definitely try Karen! She is amazingly creative!

  Karen is a hair & makeup magician!! She did the hair and makeup of myself, my 5 bridesmaids, my mother and helped to tame one of my flower girls crazy hair and everyone looked amazing! I had a beach wedding and she was able to keep my curly hair under control in the high humidity. We received numerous compliments from total strangers as we were walking around and we photographed beautifully. A HUGE PLUS is that Karen came to us. We were able to wake up and relax in the comfort of our suite while getting ready. This is so much better then piling into a car to have to go to a salon. Although your dress is what everyone notices first, your hair and makeup is like the cake topper and finishes off the look. Karen did an awesome job and I would recommend her to anyone in the area!!

  Karen did my hair and make up along with my bridesmaids and matron of honor. She transformed all of us so beautifully I was stunned. The airbrush make up was amazing and wouldn't of looked as gorgeous in my pictures or in person without it. I would recommend her to my sister. I would book her again any day.

Karen and her assistant were very friendly and professional and did a fabulous job on our makeup and hair. Our wedding was in August so she recommended airbrush makeup and it was one of the best decisions I made for the day. Karen's knack for choosing just the right colors and just the right styles for each of us was uncanny. All three of us were totally amazed by how beautiful we looked and felt. My now-husband was speechless. I have never felt as knock-out, confident, beautiful, regal, stunning ... insert any positive adjective you can imagine here ... than I did as a result of Karen's work. She is truly an artist. I recommend her to anyone who wants to look more than just "pretty" on their wedding day. Why be a 7 when Karen can make you a 10.

My now-husband was speechless. I have never felt as knock-out, confident, beautiful, regal, stunning ... insert any positive adjective you can imagine here ... than I did as a result of Karen's work. She is truly an artist. I recommend her to anyone who wants to look more than just "pretty" on their wedding day. Why be a 7 when Karen can make you a 10.

  Karen did a fantastic job on my hair and makeup and my mom's makeup on my wedding day. As someone who doesn't usually wear a lot of makeup, I was a bit nervous that I'd look too heavily made up and unnatural (she wanted me to try false lashes, and while they take a little getting used to, my eyes looked stunning in the end) - I'm so glad I trusted Karen, as she is a real pro! She really knows how to enhance your natural beauty and make you look your best in photos. Her prices are very reasonable, especially compared with some of the salons. Choose her to do your hair & makeup - you won't regret it!

  As a former Miss America competitor and SC local and I am well acquainted with the best of the best of the SC beauty community. Karen is by far the best choice in her area for wedding hair and makeup. She is extremely talented, fairly priced, reliable, and professional. She was a must for my wedding.   Karen from Cover Girl Brides is top notch! She made myself and my daughter look absolutely beautiful on my wedding day.   First of all, I'm not a make-up person--AT ALL! I can barely be bothered to put on lip gloss on a daily basis! But once I decided to go all out for "The Big Day," it was important for me that I find someone who could give me a natural, not "made-up" look for my wedding day and style my hair. Karen with Cover Girl Brides came through with flying colors!
  
  I met Karen for a trial-run a few months before and she was a delight to work with. She's got a great sense of humor and cracked me up throughout our time together. We did a little bit of tweaking to get the colors right on my big day but the final result was just amazing and I was very happy with the way my make-up and hair turned out and the resulting photos.
  
  I live in Atlanta, GA but had a beach wedding just outside of Charleston, SC. Karen was so responsive in setting up the trial-run and being able to come out to our rented house on the beach. She was great to work with and I would highly recommend her to any bride needing hair and make-up services.

  Karen did both my hair and makeup for my wedding. She was so sweet and complimentary, which was fantastic right before I had to take tons of pictures! She listened to what I was looking for, and even tried out different ideas to make sure I looked my best. She was also really efficient-- even though she did both hair and makeup, I didn't feel like I was sitting in the chair forever. And both my hair and my makeup stood up to the August heat in Charleston through the ceremony and all of the pictures!
