April 2025 Wedding

A huge THANK YOU to Couture Cakes for knocking it out of the park with our wedding cake! It was as tasty as it was beautiful. The cake was three layers: confetti/fudge, raspberry/raspberry puree, confetti/fresh strawberries. The only cake we had leftover were the slices we asked to be boxed up for us to have at the end of the night so we could make sure to have a few bites of each layer. We can't wait to get another cake next April to celebrate our first anniversary together.

Best Cakes

I wedding was scheduled for 2020 but covered forced us to push our date back. They worked with us until we could finally chose a different date. I also had some health issues come up during the delay and we had to push our date out 3 whole years. In the end the my provided us with a beautiful cake.

The best part for me was the tasting! Choosing flavors was difficult because they were all so delicious. Sadly, on wedding day, I did not have time to enjoy the cake, but my guests were very pleased! We had a four layer cake with four different flavors. We received many compliments on each offering. The cake we chose was simple as far as decoration, but it was exactly as we ordered and ready for our florist to adorn. We almost cut back the size, as we had more servings than guests, but I’m glad we didn’t. I think many people tried more than one flavor.

Wouldn't go anywhere else

They were willing to make a cake according to my vision, and it was stunning! Not only did it look beautiful, but it tasted DELICIOUS. We saved the top tier to eat on our one-year anniversary, and even after a year in the freezer, this cake was still amazing. It was still the best cake I had ever eaten, and it was frozen for a year!!! I was amazed by their work; I would highly recommend it.

Perfect and delicious!

Couture Cakes made a beautiful cake for our small wedding and not only was it so pretty but it was delicious! We got almond cake with coconut butter cream and white cake with raspberry purée and vanilla buttercream. Everyone complimented our cake. Susan is awesome to work with!

Book Couture Cakes!

We had such a wonderful experience with Couture Cakes! The tasting process was very simple and stress free. All the flavors we tasted were delicious! We had no leftovers!

Couture Cakes was recommended to us by our coordinator and I am so grateful. Not only was the process of ordering the cake so easy and professional, but the cake looked and tasted incredible. Despite the fact that we had significantly fewer people than we thought we would attend the wedding, we still had no leftovers (meaning everyone ate multiple slices of the cake!). It was so perfect!

Everyone destroyed the cake

Delicious and beautiful

The cake was beautiful and delicious. Susan emailed us on Friday, the day before our wedding, to make sure about final details that we wanted to make sure our cake was perfect. Highly recommend!

Delicious in every bite

OMG where to begin, the scheduled tasting was great. All flavors and any flavor you can think of it’s there. I love the way pictures were drawn of our cake, recommendations were made, took us step-by-step through the planning phase of our cake! I mean we left with extra cupcakes we purchased on the way out! Great staff and was able to take everything in for the cake in advance (cake topper, swatches). The tasting was so much fun and the cake is super delicious!

Most delicious cake tasting of all

We knew immediately after trying the cake we wanted to go with Couture. We chose the lemon butter cream cake and were blown away by how delicious it was. We showed them a picture of what we wanted the cake to look like and without hesitation they said they could do it. Day of the wedding, it lived up to every expectation!

We got our wedding cake from here and it was absolutely delicious and beautiful! The cake was one of the things I was most looking forward to for my wedding, and Couture Cakes definitely lived up and passed my expectations! Each layer of the cake was delicious, and they helped us to customize our design, including hand drawing bicycle gears on one layer in buttercream to go with our other decorations! They delivered the cake on time and were very easy to work with.

Couture Cakes of Greenville was the baker for my recent wedding. They made our cake as well as some cake pops. Everything was SO GOOD. As a local wedding planner, I'm always looking for good vendors, and Susan with Couture Cakes of Greenville is one of those...so I just knew she had to make the cake for our wedding. When we sat for our consultation, Susan immediately grasped our vision and was able to sketch out the perfect wedding cake design. At the wedding, everyone loved the cake and cake pops...not a bite was left (signs of a great cake!)!! I'd highly recommend Couture Cakes to anyone looking for not only a wedding cake, but for any of your cake needs :)

We had couture cakes make our wedding cake and it was better than we ever could have imagined! The design was even better than the picture they made for us, and it tasted INCREDIBLE! Fabulous cakes! From the minute we went to our cake tasting I new this was the place we were going with! They gave us multiple options for the tasting and even let us try a few cake truffles & cupcakes.

For our wedding we had 3 different cakes, Chocolate (Gluten Free), Almond (2 tier cake in the picture) and Marble. The buttercream on the outside of all the cakes was Vanilla, and it was the perfect amount. Our guests raved about how wonderful our cakes were, they were so good that we didn't get to bring any home. Highly recommend Couture Cakes for your Wedding or party!

This place knows how to make a cake! They did our wedding cake and it was absolutely beautiful! Not to mention, it was the best cake I've ever tasted! Delicious! If you are one of those Gluten-free folks, I can confirm they have excellent gluten-free options and they taste just as good as the normal cake that contains gluten!

Of course the cake was delivered on-time and in perfect condition.
You can't really go wrong here.

Couture cakes are awesome. They were extremely helpful and super nice. They were very understanding when my husband, mother, and myself had to bring our four children to our tasting. They made sure that we all got to be involved. Their cakes were not only beautiful but super delicious and very moist. Our guests at our wedding loved it. I worked with Couture Cakes of Greenville for my wedding at the Old Cigar Warehouse. Everyone at couture cakes was friendly and extremely responsive. I ordered cupcakes for our wedding dessert and they were a HIT. There wasn't a single cupcake left over at the end of the reception. My guests raved about how delicious the cupcakes were, and how many of them had at least two cupcakes each! The best part...I have Celiac (gluten allergy), and Couture Cakes had DELICIOUS gluten free cupcakes with so many flavor options. I highly recommend Couture Cakes of Greenville for any event!

Susan did an absolutely beautiful job on our wedding cake. She was able to do a four tier cake with alternating chocolate and vanilla layers with cream cheese icing filling and almond icing on the outside with the perfect design that was exactly what we wanted. I absolutely loved working with this company! The cake tasting was so much fun and I really enjoyed working on designing the wedding cake with them! I am gluten free and they worked to make the top two layers of our cake gluten free, and the bottom two were regular cake. I thought it was a great idea! We did chocolate chocolate chip with cream cheese filling for the gluten free part, and salted caramel with mocha cream filling for the bottom layers. both flavors were divine! They even worked with me to add edible gold sparkles on the cake! It turned out perfect!! Highly recommend!

Susan at Couture Cakes made our wedding cake for our Lake Lure, NC wedding. The cake was exactly what I envisioned and was delicious! She even made a small gluten free cake that was to die for (and that isn't easy!) Even though there was some damage to the cake during delivery, they were able to fix it and I didn't even know until after the wedding it looked so good. Thank You Susan for the beautiful and yummy cake!

Couture Cakes helped make the dessert table of my dreams. From the macarons to the frosting on the cake! I did an assortment of sweets with a smaller cake and received compliments on every item on the table! We went for a cake tasting and it was just perfect (and really fun)! We hired Couture Cakes for our December 17th wedding and we were definitely happy with our choice. It was so hard to pick a cake and icing flavor at our sampling because we absolutely loved all of them! The ladies were very friendly and gave wonderful ideas and advice. Amazing cake!! We had a traditional 3 layer wedding cake and a grooms-cake. Both were fantastic! Had so many compliments on both and we were lucky enough to get some leftovers to take home! YUM!! By far, the best wedding cake I have ever had in my life! I have seen some really beautiful cakes in my life, and it doesn't take a TON of work to make a pretty cake. However, some of the most beautiful cakes can taste absolutely awful! Not only was our wedding cake absolutely beautiful, it was also one of the BEST cakes we have ever tasted! Our guests could not stop raving about how good the cake was. Susan was so wonderful to work with and our tasting was super fun! Please don't think that all wedding cakes taste the same and that the important thing is the design. While the look of the cake is very important, please know that with Couture Cakes of Greenville, your wedding cake will taste as good as it looks! To everyone at Couture Cakes of Greenville, THANK YOU!!! Our cake was absolutely perfect. And as the "icing on top," we got a 2nd wedding cake made of pure chocolate for the mother of bride and groom. Such a special touch! My wedding cake from Couture Cakes was absolutely gorgeous. It was so unique and something they hadn't done before, but it looked like they'd done it a million times. We had the hardest time choosing just four of their delicious cake flavors but we were really happy with the ones we ended up with and people are still talking about how good it was almost 5 months later!

Go with Couture Cakes and you will not regret it . We did both a standard wedding cake and a grooms cake and they were both beautiful and delicious. Susan was able to take what was in our heads and make it a cake that we couldn't stop eating. Definitely recommend Couture Cakes!

Couture makes the groom's cake as well as the wedding cake and gluten free cupcakes. Everyone was in awe of the groom's cake! It was quite detailed. The wedding cake was a delicious as it was beautiful. Our guests who needed gluten free loved having that option and getting to enjoy something sweet. I have been a customer of Couture for years and have never been disappointed. There was no question who we would use for the wedding cakes. Susan is so kind and accommodating and wonderful to work with. She loves details and little special things to make cakes unique. I highly recommend Couture Cakes!

Susan of Couture Cakes was professional and responsive as I searched for a wedding cake vendor. The first vendor I tried to contact never responded (2 emails, 2 phone calls and voicemails even after meeting in person... no response). Susan was flexible in setting up a meeting/tasting time while my mother was in town from out-of-state. All of the cakes we sampled were delicious. Susan took my simple wedding cake vision and made it come to life. She didn't miss a beat when a snow storm rolled into town the night before our wedding day- she still communicated with my coordinator and organized cake drop off, and I never even had to be a part of the conversation. Susan is amazing! I am never really a fan of wedding cake at weddings ... but ours was SO good!! I have had so many guests tell me how much they enjoyed the wedding cake and how beautiful it was. Trust me when I say that you don't get any better than Couture Cakes of Greenville! Susan can make ANYTHING you want, and does an AMAZING job. Not only are her cakes absolutely beautiful, but they taste as good as they look. It is not common to find such a good combo when it comes to wedding cake. So many of my guests said that our cake was the best they've ever had. The cake and icing flavors offer a ton of variety, and she even lets you mix and match. The cake tasting is very fun and helpful and she does a really good job and drawing up a sketch of what you want your cake to look like. Also, she can do a replica of your top layer to save for your anniversary so that you don't have to worry about it the night of your wedding. And finally, I think the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend Couture Cakes to anyone and everyone. I will definitely be using them for ANY time that I need cake, no matter what.

Couture Cakes of Greenville made the Groom's Cake for my September 25th wedding and it was amazing. My husband is a firefighter with the City of Spartanburg and wanted a helmet with a Chicago Blackhawks sticker on the back. We went to taste the various cakes and icings (which were amazing), sent her a couple of pictures, and it turned out perfectly. We ended up going with a key lime cake with key lime buttercream icing. People have been raving to me about his cake for weeks now. Will definitely use them for other events.

Susan and team did an absolutely amazing job on our wedding cake! They did exactly what we asked, even adding in piped icing to match applique from wedding dress. However, not only did the cake look incredible it tasted incredible too! Everybody at the wedding is still talking about how delicious the cake was and we too agree, it was perfect! The owner of the place was very helpful and has worked with the Ryan Nicholas Inn many of times so that helped a lot. She had our cakes where they needed to be on time and looking perfect and exactly how we wanted them. We literally told her exactly what we wanted and she did it without hesitation. Couture Cakes provided four types of cupcakes for our wedding with four different icings... all were DELICIOUS. They also provided a tree-themed cake stand that was perfect for our rustic wedding. We are so glad we went with Couture Cakes of Greenville for our Wedding and Grooms Cake. Both cakes were incredible. They were exactly what we were looking for, and tasted delicious. We had numerous people tell us that it was the best wedding care they had ever tasted. The grooms cakes had a ton of detail, and my husband was very worried about how it would turn out, but the decorator really paid attention and got everything perfect! We were blown away by how good it looked.

We also had some unavoidable changes come up last minute, and they were so responsive and willing to work with us to make the cakes perfect for us. Some of the changes happened after their change deadline, but since they were not major changes, they agreed to make the changes anyway. They never once complained or seemed agitated with us. Our wedding was in the upstate area, but a little bit further than they usually delivered. We paid a delivery fee so we wouldn't have to send someone to get them, but the fee was VERY reasonable. They delivered our cakes on time and even gave us left over boxes. We will definitely be using them again for future cake orders!!

When I first heard about Couture Cakes I thought they were too good to be true. The cakes are beautiful and even more importantly tasty! We were very impressed with the customization they provide and the creativity in executing your vision. They offer great ideas for how to satisfy your wedding cake dreams and yet they are extremely reasonable with their prices. They were helpful and professional through the entire process of planning our wedding cake. They were able to replicate impressively an Indian design that we found online to decorate the cake. I keep hearing that our wedding cake was the best that many of our guests have ever had. Susan is fantastic. Very professional and will work with your budget to give you exactly what you want. We ended up doing a 3tier cake to save money with a kitchen cake. Unlike other bakers, her kitchen cakes look the same as the wedding cake (with filling). Others just make a simple sheet cake to discourage using kitchen cakes. You can have different flavors and fillings for each layer and the kitchen cake(s). We ran out, which is just a testament to how good it was. Prices were well within reason, and she had many options from which to choose. Honestly, the actual wedding cake was a thousand times better than what we had at the tasting (not that the tasting was bad). She is not a high pressure sales woman. She lets her product and her easy going nature speak for themselves.

AMAZING! The most delicious and beautiful wedding cake we could have imagined! Our cake was three tiers - each a different flavor - as well as cupcakes. Everyone raved about it!! I would highly recommend to anyone who needs a very special cake for a very special occassion!

I loved working with Susan at Couture Cakes of Greenville. She has some awesome cakes and does such a beautiful job. She is so artistic and truly wants to make sure she makes you the best, most tasty cake for your wedding or any event. One of the reasons I went with Susan was because she assured us that our cake wouldn't be made until that friday before our wedding and it was absolutely delicious. Anyone who ate the cake could most definitely tell that the cake was made the day before and not a day before. We ended up have alot of cake left over and we got our money worth. I would most definitely recommend her to anyone who is in need of a cake for a special event!

Amazing cake and groom's cake! They even repaired my groom's cake when someone tipped it over. The cake is delicious, and I would recommend to anyone. They are great with helping on designs also! I loved the almond buttercream!

Our wedding cake was amazing!!! It was beautiful and is tasted great. Most wedding cakes look nice but they don't taste so great. But Couture Cakes makes the most beautiful cakes that also taste amazing!!!

Couture Cakes was wonderful to work with. We got both our wedding and groom's cakes from them and we were very pleased with both. They were able to do two different flavors for our wedding cake layers, since we were so torn between the two (they were all so good!!) The groom's cake was a pirate themed cake with a pirate ship on top, and it turned out better than I could have hoped. My husband loved it! We will definitely be going back to them for all of our cake needs!

We did cupcakes for our wedding and these turned out better than expected. All the flavors were delicious and the cupcakes were beautiful! The colors matched perfectly! We couldn't have been happier!

Susan and her team did an amazing job on our wedding cake. I sent her a photo and our cake turned out more beautiful than the one I sent! I love that Couture Cakes provides not only beautiful cakes but delicious ones too. I've too often been to a wedding where the cake looked fantastic but tasted like cardboard or tasted great but looked like a hot mess. Occassionally I've even had a cardboard hot mess! Not to worry with the Courture Cakes team. We got so many compliments on the cake (FYI the apple cake is amazing)! Would definitely recommend!
