Amazing experience with Emily! Almost said yes on the first appointment! Emily was very attentive and understood well what I was looking for. Top notch service from Meg!

Meg helped me find my dress during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. I never really had a clear vision of what I wanted in a wedding dress, but I emailed her the information I thought might help her pull a few things I *might* like prior to my appointment. I CHOSE THE FIRST DRESS Meg put on me! Of course I tried on others, but she really knew exactly what I wanted even if I didn’t know it at first. That’s the kind of consultant you want when you choose a dress!
The store itself had a huge selection of gowns and accessories at much more reasonable prices than most other boutiques. They took care of everything from the champagne during the appointment to shipping my freshly cleaned and preserved dress after the wedding. I would definitely recommend Couture Bridal of Maryland!

Excellent Service!

Couture Bridal was absolutely amazing! This was the fourth shop I visited, and while I enjoyed the others, Couture Bridal's staff was very welcoming and extremely knowledgeable. The experience didn't feel overwhelming. The entire staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone felt like my cheerleader when I found my dress. I knew it was the one because they were all blown away and I didn't want to take the dress off. I felt like a true bride. I can't wait to walk down the aisle to my husband in my Couture Bridal wedding gown.

I had an awesome experience at Couture Bridal. Arianna was fantastic. They have a large dress selection with lots of different types of dresses. I got my dress here after going to three other shops - I wish I had just gone here first! Highly recommend.

Top-notch customer service

The store manager, Jennifer Liu, was very responsive when I requested a quote and invoice to have my wedding dress cleaned. She was able to respond to my emails even during off hours. While I did not purchase my dress here, I am sure this high level of customer service extends to brides looking for their wedding dress.

Best shopping experience

Couture Bridal in Gaithersburg gave me the quality, attention, kind, and fun experience in bridal dress shopping I only hoped to find. I had been to 2 different stores prior and was beginning to feel like I’d only end up with a wedding dress I felt ok enough in. But from the second I stepped into Couture Bridal, I felt special and welcomed. Erika helped me during my initial shopping appointment and truly listened to my vision and style. But what I appreciated was Erika also picking a couple different styles for me to try on. Not only was it fun but it helped me not tunnel vision on a specific element. The selection of styles for any body type is incredible there. I myself have a curvy hourglass figure and found the absolute dream dress. Alterations were perfect and timely. Everything was clearly thought out. I cannot rave enough about this boutique. While the atmosphere and gorgeous dresses make it feel unique and beautiful, it is the fun, delightful, and professional ladies working there who make it the BEST place to find your wedding dress. Forever grateful.

Great Experience

I had an amazing experience finding my wedding gown here. They were my first salon when I found my gown. I loved my D2365 Essense Gown and so glad I ordered it before it got discontinued. The salon is so clean and pretty. They make you feel like a VIP from the day you find your gown to your final fitting. I am so glad they had a gown reveal for me as well (which was a surprise that my mom orchestrated). Highly recommend this salon!

Amazing Experience

Absolutely wonderful! Couture Bridal of MD was the 3rd place I went to try on dresses. I was not that excited because of my previous experiences. From the moment I walked in the door, I was amazed. The setup of the shop is exquisite, the layout, the dress selections, and the cleanness of the store. Even the bathroom had cute sparkly floors! I was greeted by Jennifer who was extremely nice and friendly. She took her time and she gave me all the attention and feedback that I needed. I am a thicker person, she never made me feel uncomfortable or ugly, even when I picked samples that were clearly too small, she was so nice and made it work just so I could get the "look". Needless to say, I said, "YES TO THE DRESS". We all cried. Wonderful experience, it was worth the drive and I would recommend this place to any soon-to-be bride :)

I scheduled an appointment for during the sample sale event. The appointment was very easy to schedule and their team responded to me right away by text message if I had a question. It was only an hour appointment and I gave my description of what I was looking for. All the dresses that came out to me were beautiful! I found my dream dress. Can’t wait to have it altered and wear it at my wedding!!

I can't say enough positive things about the entire Couture Bridal of Maryland team. They were professional, attentive, and extremely easy to work with. I went dress shopping at multiple stores but I felt the most comfortable at Couture Bridal of Maryland. At other stores, I found myself intimidated but the team at Couture Bridal listened to my preferences, providing helpful suggestions and advice during my appointment.

The most amazing dress I'll ever wear

If I could wear my wedding dress from Couture Bridal of Maryland every day, I would. I loved every minute of my visits to the shop, from the wide selection of beautiful dresses to the rainbow-sparkle floor. I went in knowing what I wanted--the Allure Cinderella dress but with the addition of the Allure Rapunzel bow on the back--and they made it work with no hesitation! The staff was always cheerful and welcoming, the store is beautiful and a joy to be in, and the alterations team worked hard to make sure the dress fit perfectly. The dress must weigh 20 pounds but with the way it was fitted it felt weightless. I also loved their selection of accessories: I made an impulse buy of one of their rhinestone headbands because I just couldn't resist!

Absolutely amazing experience!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Couture Bridal and everyone who works there!!! They provide excellent customer service from start to finish! I initially went to them in June 2019 with my immediate family looking for my perfect dress. The woman helping me (I cannot remember her name to save my life) was absolutely amazing. She was extremely patient, not pushy whatsoever and listened to my vision while also pulling dresses that were outside of my comfort zone. While I didn’t find “the one” at that time, I went back the next month and said, “yes to the dress”! Throughout the entire process, the entire staff was such a pleasure to work with and were extremely flexible as I had to reschedule my wedding twice. They graciously offered to keep my dress at the boutique which it ended up being there for a year and a half! They have onsite alterations which was extremely convenient and reasonably priced, in my opinion. The seamstress is terrific and made sure during my multiple fittings that my dress fit me perfectly for my big day!

A huge THANK YOU to the entire team for helping make me feel and look stunning on my wedding day! Seriously, if you need a wedding dress, highly recommend Couture Bridal of Maryland!!

Simply the best

I found my dream wedding dress at Couture Bridal. Our original appointment in March 2020 was rescheduled (obviously), and when we came in June 2020 they had a lot of covid precautions in place. They were very communicative and clear about what measures they were taking, and made the whole experience fun regardless. I fell in love with the top of one of the dresses, but was looking for a little something different on the bottom. The stylist recommended I order the 2021 version of that dress, which had the style I was looking for. Although I had never tried it on, I decided to order it, sight unseen, and it ended up being absolutely PERFECT. I was so grateful to the stylist for proactively recommending it. The whole process of altering the dress and doing the final fitting went super smoothly. I would definitely recommend looking here for your dress!

Dream wedding dress!!

When I came to Couture Bridal of Maryland, Megan already knew my style as she had studied my Pinterest board. Funny enough, the first dress she showed me I was unsure of and passed. After a few other dresses, my friend insisted that I try out the original dress that Megan had picked out. I decided to trust them, and WOW - that was THE DRESS. It's like Megan knew what I needed before I was even certain of it. The entire experience was amazing and I loved the service at Couture Bridal. When we started alterations, I wanted to add an off the shoulder "sleeve" to my dress. The seamstress showed me some ideas and found an old veil with decorative trimming that matched the style of my dress. She added it in a manner that was absolutely perfect - it looked like it was always meant to include the sleeve. I loved working with this amazing team, and I loved my wedding dress. Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The absolute BEST!

My experience at Couture Bridal has been a DREAM! My first experience was going with a friend last fall who was searching for her wedding dress. From the moment we walked in, Kristine was so welcoming and made us feel so comfortable! My friend found the most beautiful gown which was altered to perfection. Our next step was bridesmaid dresses which was flawless and easy. Kristine always stayed in communication with us about when they would be in and made sure we had all of the necessary alteration appointments scheduled. When I got engaged myself, I knew that Kristine had to be my first call! Even after only meeting me a handful of times, she not only pulled incredible dresses for me, but managed to pick THE ONE as the very first dress I tried on. If it wasn’t a global pandemic I would have given her the biggest hug in the world!!! The entire time I felt so comfortable and was given space and time to think about my decision. I have been to many bridal stores and I mean it when I say you will truly leave feeling as though you are part of the family! I can’t wait for my final fitting appointment and I will forever be grateful to Kristine and the team for providing me with a fun, clean and supportive environment to pick my wedding dress.

Exactly What I Envisioned for Buying a Wedding Dress!

Posh Bridal fit me into their schedule last-minute, and as soon as my appointment began I knew I would find my dress there. Posh was so much better than any other bridal shop I visited in the DC/MD/VA area, from atmosphere (comfy couches and fresh decor) to selection (tons of dresses to look at, right on the racks in the front of the store) to service. Nina was a fantastic consultant-- she was 100% mindful of my budget, super chill, and had a down-to-earth and logical approach that helped keep me on track. I never felt rushed at all. Everyone who works there is approachable and knowledgeable, which really helped to make the dress-buying experience more relaxed and fun. Alterations went off without a hitch and I felt flawless in my dress!

Fairy tale experience!

My husband and I enjoy going to Downtown Crown for Happy Hour and dinner and every time we'd go, I would look in the window of this boutique and think "I'd love to get my dress there." Well I did and I could not have been happier! The staff was so friendly and professional and are great about working with your budget and getting a feel for what you are looking for. The seamstress was amazing and was able to give me the bustle I wanted and fashioned a halter strap to my dress to truly make it mine. Each time I went in, the staff remembered me and we would chat. It always felt like I was meeting with friends in addition to professionals. Great experience all around!

Beautiful dress & alterations, handsome tuxes, and attentive staff

We absolutely loved working with Nina who helped me pick my dress. She was friendly, NOT-pushy about products, and didn't rush me through the appointment (which was such a nice change from the other bridal salons that I visited). Overall, she was very respectful about showing me dresses within my budget that also suited my preferences. After my first appointment, I didn't feel comfortable pulling the trigger and she was totally chill about it. In the end, I couldn't take my mind off of one dress that I found during my first appointment --my dream dress-- so I went back for another appointment and they welcomed me right back. I couldn't have been happier with it. All of their dresses were priced as MSRP so I didn't feel ripped off.
We also decided to get all of the groomsmen's tuxes there which seemed to be high quality. While we were there for tuxes, they also had a sample sale for bridesmaid dresses where I snagged a gorgeous $275 dress for $65 bucks which I later wore to a formal wedding as a guest.

From a Dress that didn’t fit...

My experiences at Couture Bridal have been wonderful. I ordered a custom made dress (Astrid and Mercedes) in March from a store in Florida where my parents are from. The dress was shipped to me in Maryland, and nothing was fitting correctly. I was disappointed and upset to have spent that much money on a dress that didn’t even stay on my body, and I had gained 5 lbs! I emailed Couture Bridal for an appointment and they responded right away. They listened to me and what I wanted and made adjustments accordingly. I came back about two weeks later and the dress fitted perfectly. Their team was friendly with reasonable prices! Thank you all for your help and for helping me get the dress I wanted from the start!

Great experience from start to finish

These ladies are wonderful! I ended up here after several unsuccessful gown attempts. I came in frustrated. Ariel was so sweet and kind and listened to the features of each of the "almost" gowns I had found, and within a few minutes brought several selections that combined the best of what I liked. She helped me find the perfect gown. Beyond this initial shopping experience, my alterations appointments were great as well. Tirza is a master seamstress and so fun! You can't go wrong here. Highly recommend.

I found my dress!

This was the third of four appointments my first day of dress shopping. Alex was so helpful and knowledgable. I went in with a pretty tight budget, but I found the dress I love off the rack (sample) under budget! I couldn't be happier with the dress or the alterations that were done. Everyone was great to work with and I even enjoyed going back for my fittings.

I love this boutique. I looked online at a lot of dresses and I found that I liked Allure dresses and Couture by Posh Bridal carried that line. I tried on a ton of gorgeous dresses and I found the perfect one (it was Allure!). The dress was gorgeous and really affordable. It had the most beautiful beading, as did my veil. Everyone said it glittered the entire ceremony. Everyone was so nice there and they did a beautiful job with my alterations, which were also affordable. I got my wedding jewelry there as well. I highly recommend them!

Couture by Posh Bridal was the first (of three) stores I shopped at for my wedding dress, and ended up being the store I bought my Stella York from. Olivia was my consultant, and she was fabulous. She looked at my pinterest ideas before I arrived and knew what I was looking for. It was a great experience, and I felt like I was her only priority while I was there. My dress was delivered on time, and the seamstress Tirza did an amazing job. My dress fit like a glove and accentuated all the right places instead of the wrong places! It was such a pleasure to work with Tearza and her team! I went into this store first by myself a few months after getting engaged to get a better idea of which styles I liked. I managed to find a few dresses that stood out and Olyvia helped me locate a few dresses I never thought I would like but loved when I tried them on! She offered to take a few photos of some of the dresses I tried on since my mom wanted to see but lives out of town. It was nice to have these because some of the dresses I tried on and liked in the store, after seeing the photo later I didn’t like the dress. I left and had gone to a few other shops in the area but none of them had the personal experience like Posh or the wide selection. I returned a few months later with a group from my bridal party, my mom, and mother-in-law but tried on even more different styles. Olyvia maintained her patience with my indecisiveness as it was hard to imagine what some of the dresses would look once they were fitted, but I found my dress during this visit! Tearza worked with me from that point forward, it was amazing to discover she and her partner do all of the alterations in-house. Once I found this out, I recommended her to my husband who needed help with alterations to his dress blues. He was super excited to find someone local that knew how to alter his attire within regulations. We both love the end product of our alterations! She fit my dress perfectly to my shape that it was actually comfortable to be in! I would get many more dresses from her shop if I had to!

I went to several salons before Couture by Posh Bridal and I was disappointed in the selection of dresses. I went to my scheduled appointment at this salon and they blew me away with their selection. The individual assisting me was very patient and did not push me to make a decision. I returned the next week to order/buy the dress. I decided to also have my dress altered at this salon. Although it was probably not the least expensive option, I was thrilled with the results of the alterations and it was worth every penny.

The staff at Couture by Posh Bridal great at reading their clients and helping the bride choose the dress that she has envisioned wearing on her wedding day. Each time I went in the store, I have only ever seen the staff with act with a kind willingness to help their customers, even if that customer is not one they are working with at that time. On the first day of my dress shopping experience, I had gone to Couture by Posh Bridal to look for my wedding gown right after horrible service I had at another bridal salon that same day. From the time I stepped into Couture by Posh Bridal, my experience was 100 times better.

I never felt rushed or pressured into making a decision about a dress that I didn’t feel was right for me. My consultant Amanda (in addition to Olyvia) guided me into realizing which dress I felt was the best choice for me, not what they thought I should choose. They really took into account what I wanted my look to be and my price point.

I had ordered my dress about 6 months before my wedding and it came about 2 ½ months before my wedding day. Tirza, was AMAZING with my alterations! She had an endless amount of patience with my indecisiveness in how I wanted my dress to look (with attaching material to the bodice to make custom sleeves). Her artistic craftsmanship is top-notch and she is able to make additions to a wedding gown to make it look like the dress came that way. I left the store a couple times and called them back soon after because I realized what I had thought I wanted in the store was not something I wanted after all. Posh by Couture Bridal was always understanding and was able to schedule me on short notice for a quick appointment to confirm or adjust my vision of my dress.

Tirza and all the staff at Couture by Posh Bridal truly made all my wedding gown dreams come true. I highly recommend them to other brides wanting to feel just as perfect as I did in my wedding gown on my big day!

I came here with my mom, a bridesmaid, and my MOH. I was so in love with the personal and private experience we had! Nina was an awesome help! I showed her the types of dresses I was looking at and my budget. She pointed me in the right direction of what selection to look at and right when I felt overwhelmed and turned around, she already had close to 10 dresses in her hands for me to try. We definitely spent longer than the probably usual appointment but never once did I feel rushed! I love the "Top 2" approach - you just keep 2 dresses in your top selection so that you can really narrow done what you love. After say 20 dresses later, I said yes to the dress!! Best bridal shop ever! I went to or 4 shops before I found them. They definitely had the best selection of gowns and the prices were reasonable. The shop was also much brighter and nicer than the other shops I'd gone to. The seamstress Tirza is also incredibly helpful and knowledgeable (and nice). Tirza is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and made the dress buying process a breeze. She was so flexible when I wasnt sure what I wanted, helping me try on a variety of dresses and patiently guiding me through every question I had throughout the entire process. Then throughout the months leading up to my wedding she was great in answering questions I had, performed terrific alterations and I felt absolutely beautiful the day of thanks to all of her hard work! I had such a wonderful experience with Couture and all their staff. The owner was so welcoming when we arrived, and the attendant that helped me with my initial appointment did an amazing job choosing and recommending gowns. I fell in love almost immediately with a Maggie Sottero ballgown that I would not have looked at on my own-- I actually wasn't considering ballgowns at all! It was an absolutely perfect dress. The seamstress did amazing work on the gown, with such an attention to detail and she explained everything she was going to do. I loved going back every time for a fitting-- it was such a great experience from start to finish!

Look no further if you are looking for your dress. Couture by Posh is an incredible salon, all the employees are very friendly and helpful. When we came in to try dresses, we never felt rushed and we got our own private dressing room. Tirza is absolutely incredible. She has a great eye for seeing the transformed dress even if you can't quite visualize it yourself yet. Their prices are really reasonable as well. When it comes to alterations, Audra was amazing. She talked me through every alteration and made sure i was 100% comfortable with everything. I needed to add more lace to the top and you would never known the difference after she was done. We ended up getting our bridesmaid dresses and all the groom/groomsmen suits through Couture. I didn't want my girls paying a ridiculous amount and Couture has an affordable dress line. They also have a great suit selection and Tirza stayed with us way past closing to help us pick every element. We had a few hiccups along the way and Tirza handled them quickly and efficiently, I never had to worry about a thing.

After visiting many bridal boutiques/stores around the MD/DC area in search of the perfect wedding dress I am so glad I scheduled an appointment at Couture by Posh. They have a great selection of wedding dresses (all different styles/designers) and very affordable prices (my price range was between $1000-$1500 if you were curious). I ended up buying my wedding dress, earrings and veil there since they had such a great selection to choose from. Tirza is fantastic and so helpful! Their in house tailors are very affordable and I am very glad I decided to have my dress altered there. I cannot say enough good things about Couture by Posh!

LOVED working with the girls here! I got my bridal gown here as well as my bridesmaid! I loved my the experience of buying a dress here because I had the whole place to myself for an hour of trying on dresses. My bridesmaids loved their dresses as well, but some styles do run smaller than others, so be careful when trying on and ordering dresses.

I had the BEST experience with Couture by Posh Bridal and their sister store, Posh Bridal in Frederick. My consultant, Kim Miller, went above and beyond. I purchased my dress at Posh Bridal in Frederick, but when it came time to do my first fitting after the dress came in, I needed to have it moved to Couture by Posh Bridal in Gaithersburg so that it was a closer drive for me for everything else that needed to be done. Kim made arrangements to have it moved and double checked that it made it there safely! Not only did she tame my crazy family (12 people in my entourage, yikes!) with grace and poise, but she really made me feel like it was all about me and made me comfortable even when the dresses I was trying on were only to please the crowd and completely not my style! I ended up with my dream dress and she even helped me pick my veil and accessories to complete my vision to a T! Highly recommend Kim, she can find the perfect dress for ANYONE!

Where do I begin? Tirza and Brandi took care of my wedding dress, my 10 maids and alterations for all. Service was impeccable and they were genuinely happy for me and cared about my satisfaction the entire way. Tirza on the alterations is a 15/5. She MADE me sleeves for my dress, she altered my moms dress perfectly and made sure my two Preggo maids had perfectly fit dresses to make sure they felt their best on my big day too. After going to a few shops to try on dresses, I went to Posh Bridal where the experience was unlike any other store. I was not only allowed, but encouraged to take my time with my family to go through their large dress selection myself and pick out as many dresses as I liked. They helped me try on the dresses and clipped them so that I could see the fit, but also gave me the privacy I needed to make a relaxed decision. We were allowed to take as many photos of the dresses as we wanted and I found the dress of my dreams!

I had a wonderful experience with Couture By Posh Bridal this weekend. I did experience some awkwardness upon my arrival as I was not greeted and I waited about 5 minutes to be checked in despite there being several employees at the front desk. That said, it was a busy Saturday afternoon during wedding season, so I sympathize. I've been to several other stores and had some mixed experiences, but this was by far the best.

The store is clean, well organized, has a huge selection of beautiful gowns, and there are lots of private areas for bridal appointments. For an hour, my consultant and I were in an intimate area in the back with no other shoppers around- which was exactly what I wanted.

My consultant, Sara Kate, was FANTASTIC. She did not make me feel self conscious or awkward in any way (which I have experienced with other stores/consultants when undressing and shoving myself into a sample size!) and was so, so patient. I tried on around 7 dresses in my hour long appointment and Sara Kate was happy to let me "um and ah". She even accessorized several of the dresses to help me form opinions. As I was alone, she took several pictures of me in various dresses from multiple angles and was all around a pleasure to spend my afternoon with.

I ended up buying an amazing gown that day and couldn't have had a better purchasing experience.

From the initial appointment through the final fitting everyone was wonderful. I wanted some modifications on the order and then some work from the seamstress to remove extra layers from the dress and all went really smoothly. I was able to experience Couture by Posh Bridal as both a bridesmaid and then later, as a bride. Couture is a wonderful wedding dress and bridesmaid dress provider. I received SO many compliments on my wedding dress and I felt like an absolute princess. The seamstress is absolutely wonderful and it is clear that she loves her job which makes any visit to the vendor more fun. My only more negative feedback is that it's a little pricey and since it's very popular, it can be quite crowded in there on a Saturday afternoon. Nevertheless, I would recommend this place to any bride and am thankful I chose them!

Excellent bridal salon with lots of amazing designer dresses. I got mine half off, perhaps because it was from a previous season or whatever. But the dress was amazing, and Posh Couture's associates were so helpful with letting me try on multiple dresses and giving me their honest opinions. I had a wonderful experience from trials through alterations through the final take-home. Alterations were really pricey, but the in-house tailor was wonderful to work with and she gave me a discount. ;) I definitely recommend this salon based on my experience!

I had one afternoon to find my dress, and I was successful at Couture by Posh Bridal, thanks to their large selection and helpful attendants. The prices were much more reasonable than I'd anticipated, given that they are so close to the DC area. The reason for the low flexibility rating is that I purchased one dress, then changed my mind overnight and decided to go with my second choice. Long story short, Couture wouldn't let me return the first dress, and I had to sell it online instead. Kind of a headache, but at least my second dress was perfect!

I picked this salon because they had the dress that I was looking for and they were also having a trunk show for that designer, Stella York. My whole appointment took 45 minutes because I bought the dress I went looking for. They were great at giving me other options but my heart was set on it. Olga the seamstress was fabulous. It only took 2 alteration appointments. My dress was perfect on my wedding day. I got so many compliments on it being so different from the current wedding dress trends.

My only complaint was there was some rescheduling of alterations due to snow storms, which was not their fault, but rescheduling was not a good experience. When they rescheduled the appointment the first time they did it before they were open for business. And when they rescheduled it a second time they double booked seamstress for a time where she would be at their other boutique. I ended up having to reschedule for a weekday and taking off work to make the trip to the boutique.

Nice store but alternation process needs alterations

I bought my wedding dress here, after going to a lot of other stores and trying on dozens of dresses. I thought that this store had a nice selection of dresses, and was able to take advantage of a Thanksgiving sale where the dress was discounted. I found the front desk staff and the ladies who help you with the dresses to be very friendly and helpful.

The reason why I’m not giving five stars is because I was disappointed with the price of the alterations, and would recommend to future brides to get quotes for alterations from seamstresses not affiliated with the store. To be fair, I’m not sure how the prices might compare, but it was something I wish I had done for due diligence instead of blindly booking through the business. When I asked about the range of how much alterations typically cost, the final price was within that range so I didn’t question it despite the fact that I needed minimal alterations (adjust the straps, fix little things on the dress, insert bra pads, etc.). When I spoke to my friend who also bought her dress and got it altered at the same store, I found she was charged the same price even though she needed much more work done on her dress (the same as me, plus a full hem which the seamstress told me is the most expensive part). I also told the seamstress that I was trying to adjust as little as possible and only wanted to do what is necessary because we were over budget, and felt rushed and pressured into accepting changes that I didn’t need. When I asked about how much certain alterations cost, I wasn’t given a price but was told they were “minimal.”

The process just left me feeling bad and taken advantage of, and I don’t usually post reviews but want to help other people avoid feeling this way. It would be helpful if the seamstress provided transparency on how much different aspects of the alterations cost, so that budget-conscious brides can prioritize what they need and not pay for things they don’t want. Also, I would advise the company to encourage tipping after the dress is picked up, and not before. I ordered my dress almost 8 (April 16, 2016) months ago and still do not have my dress. They said they need to "rush" the early shipments in. So that means a girl who came in after me but her wedding is before mine, she will get her dress first. I have yet to hear from them and keep having to call to figure out what's happening. I understand the dress is coming from Australia and dresses take time, but I better get it by January in time for my first fitting or I'll be mad. I'll write more when I actually get the dress and hopefully will have a better review. They were originally really friendly, but now I'm still waiting for a wedding dress and hoping I won't have to go for a plan B.

I am so excited for the dress and really hopes it works out, but as of now I'm still waiting and my wedding is almost 4 months away.

Edit 12/22/2016: I received my dress at 8 months after a bunch of lying. The girl is nice in person, but over email/phone, they all lie. They told me my dress was coming from "Australia" but we called the manufacturer and it was coming from Kansas City.

The manufacturer had to contact the boutique to find out what's happening and then I got the dress in 4 days. The dress fits perfectly, but will need just a few minor alterations (in the bust and on the layering). I am taking my alterations elsewhere.

Edit 1/26/2017: We ordered another veil since I didn't like my veil. This veil was so beautiful. We paid $800+ for this veil. They told us it would be IN by January 21. It was not. They claimed it was back ordered, but after we called the manufacturer, they shipped the dress. It came 5 days late and I have my hair appointment this week. I believe the veil was not back ordered.

Both the dress and veil are very beautiful and this was the only place that carried the designer. I took both and ran.

WARNING: They do not give refunds so if you don't get your products, you get a store credit which is useless.

Take your money elsewhere...UNPROFESSIONAL!

This store has decent reviews and is close to my home and the venue of my wedding. I'm not originally from the area so I didn't have my Mom or Bridesmaids here to help me with the wedding dress fun.

I had already purchased my dress (in another state) but needed to find a vendor to do some alterations to it. I contacted Couture and the girl on the phone was very nice and helpful. She magically was able to get me an appointment on the same day for a fitting and to see what changes needed to be made. I asked her about pricing and generally what is charged. She said that pricing would be discussed with me once I get the dress on.

I arrived and there was someone at the front desk helping another customer, so I had a seat to wait. I could actually here them gossiping about something but it wasn't my business so waited my turn. The lady at the front desk then came over to help me when done. She showed me to the fitting room and had me put on the wedding dress. I came out and she begin pinning my dress in various areas. She create a bustle and discussed dress shoe height with me. She then went to the front desk to get pricing. She came back a few minutes later snacking on some food and told me the price would be $500 but with a discount $470.

But if you think that's where the problem lied... not even close.

I took my dress hung it back up and went to the front desk to talk about pricing. I called my fiance to inform him of the price and with him on the phone asked the 2 ladies at the front desk about lowering the price or could I go and get pricing from another vendor before booking the next appointment. They went to get the lady who pinned my dress and her response was DEMEANING, RUDE and a great representation of a CAR SALESMAN.

She said "If I new price was going to a problem I wouldn't have pinned your dress". I informed her of the convo I had on the phone about pricing when scheduling the appointment. I've never done this before and that's why I was upfront about finding out cost when scheduling. Then she said "If you leave than I will charge you more if you bring your dress back." I knew at that point this person was not rational and I will not be BULLIED into spending my money without looking for alternatives first. I ended the conversation there and asked for my dress back. She unpinned my dress, gave it back to me and I left.

I went to another vendor the very next day, who discussed pricing when I put the dress on. Without pinning it she could give me an estimate of what changes she thought needed to be made. She pinned me almost the exact same way as Couture and charged me $180.

I have no advice for anyone who goes to Couture other than... JUST DON'T GO! It makes no sense that those prices varied as much as they did when the vendors are ~3 miles apart and both located in higher class areas.

Worst Experience

I went to Couture Bridal on 10 February to look at wedding dresses for my 3 September wedding. I was charged the $25 appointment fee, chose my wedding dress during this visit, was measured for the dress, and told the salon that I needed to set up another appointment because I wanted to bring my mom to see the dress before I purchased it. During the second visit on 18 February, I was again charged the $25 appointment fee despite already having chosen the dress and my measurements already having been taken at the earlier appointment. While this fee was waived because I did sign the contract for the dress and pay the deposit on this day, it would have been considerate of the salon to recognize that I came back and waived both appointment fees. They were not and they did not.
When my dress arrived and I tried it on on 19 April, it was waaay too tight…I couldn’t sit down in it, couldn’t dance in it, could barely breathe in it! Come to find out the bridal consultant, upon taking my measurements, ordered a dress that was too small. I tried on a Size 6 during my February appointment (Which fit and felt comfortable. Some very minor alterations would have been needed but that’s normal.) but the bridal consultant ordered me a size 4. The seamstress (who is only a consultant for the salon) felt awful because when I raised the issue with the bridal consultant that day (no manager on duty supposedly), she walked away. The seamstress said that she would try and “stretch it out”. Because I signed a contract with my measurements on it, I had to honor the contract with the dress the salon stated fit within those measurements. The dress was so unbearably tight, I thought the zipper was going to bust and the seamstress couldn’t button the top 4 buttons that were around my rib cage (how does one lose/gain weight around their rib cage!). If you think I gained weight between the February appointment and the April dress fitting, I did not. I was the same weight.
So, since the salon had ZERO remorse for ordering a dress that left me no room for error, I went on a massive diet to lose AN ENTIRE DRESS SIZE in order to fit into the dress for my final fitting in July. I cannot support ANY BUSINESS that clearly condones having someone get an eating disorder in order to make up for their mistake. I believe a dress should fit the bride … the bride should not have to fit the dress. I lost 10 lbs to fit into the dress for my final fitting on 18 July. During the final fitting, the dress did fit and I was able to feel comfortable in it where I would actually be able to sit, dance, eat, drink, etc… at my wedding (you know – important things that make a bride happy on her wedding day). However, it was also very clear that NO alterations were done on my dress – the only thing that needed corrected from my first fitting in April was the length (and the “stretching”) – it was about an inch longer than I needed it to be with my shoes. However, this was not done. I was charged for alterations that were clearly not performed. I was furious. I want NOTHING to EVER do with this place again. This should have been one of the happiest days for me but I was miserable and just wanted to leave the store so that my unhappiness didn’t get on the other brides that were there. Upon leaving, I asked for a black bag for the dress…I was told that I needed to pay for it. No thank you, I said. I think you’ve made enough money scamming me with your salon ordering the wrong size dress and having me pay for alterations that clearly were not performed. I will never recommend this salon and will let everyone I know about my experience here. This place should be ashamed of itself ….but I know it is not because it had the opportunity to correct their mistakes and they chose not to care! You do not want to be treated like this with one of the most special decisions you have to make as a bride.

Unethical, lies about stock

Absolutely horrible experience with them. Beware when they charge you $100 shipping and say dress “will take 4-6 weeks to come” they rushed me , i called them one day later after a Sunday and holiday... said I was rushed and having second thoughts. Currently disputing them and will take them to court! Please do your research. They are unethical . Imagine a place trapping a bride into a dress she doesn't want after 1 business day and no alterations!

To be completely honest, my overall experience with this bridal salon was terrible. I made an appointment and when I arrived not a single person greeted me. Me and 5 other bridesmaids waited at the front desk for 15 minutes waiting for my consultant. When she finally arrived she failed to introduce herself and just brought me to the back with a heavy sigh. She did not ask me about my engagement , my fiance, or my wedding. She told me to "look around and see what you like". I felt so neglected, and my bridesmaids were furious. Even though the appointment was impersonal, I ended up finding a dress I loved. My mother wasn't able to make the appointment so I wanted to facetime her and show her the dress. My consultant told me my time was up and that she had to leave to pick up her daughter. From the beginning, she did not tell me how long I had my appointment for, so how was i supposed to know?? I had to rush out of my dress, and never got to facetime my mom to show her. It was heartbreaking. I ended up getting the dress because i did truly love it and the price was perfect, 900$. I had to get the dress hemmed, added in cups, and i wanted a belt sewn on. When my dress came in i was SO excited to get the alterations done until......... they told me those 3 simple things would cost me 600$. WHAT!?!? I was dumbfounded. I could not believe it. The alterations would cost 2/3 of my dress, which they failed to tell me at my original appointment. I was teary eyed at the fact that I was going to have to go over budget and find a way to make it work. The store owner Tizra saw I was crying and said, "there is a liquor store across the street to help with 'that'" EXCUSE ME. What terrible customer service. I couldn't believe it. When I had my alterations done the bustle was awful and was way too complicated to do. My maid of honor could not figure it out on wedding day, and I was unable to even use the bustle. What a disappointment.
