The new and modern banquet rooms overlooking Lake George, combined with the Mazzone events team is hands-down the best option in Lake George, and made our wedding simple, beautiful, and fun.

Shana and her staff were excellent to work with for my son's wedding rehearsal dinner. She was very prompt with our requests and attentive to the needs of our large venue. They could not have been more accommodating.

The entire staff for Mazzone Catering take service to the next level. Their professionalism and courtesy shined every moment of my wedding. Their setting up of the ceremony space to the centerpieces to how they treated my guests was incredible. The food is second to none, exceptional in every way. The event planner Shana is an amazing and detailed oriented person and her help along with her staff Jordan, Jacklyn and all of the other wait staff and bartenders, made my wedding the most wonderful event I could ever had hoped for.

There are not words to describe how amazing we felt after selecting the Courtyard in Lake George as our wedding venue. From the amazing attention we received (prior to and throughout our wedding weekend), to the food, to the hotel room block/staff we felt like no detail was forgotten. As a bride/groom you could only HOPE for a venue to be as amazing as this one. We walked away as a newly married couple ready to sing the praises of the Courtyard Marriott and the Mazzone staff! We truly can’t thank you all enough for making our wedding day beyond perfect!

We were married June 22, 2019. It was definitely a day to remember and everybody played a huge pet in that. From the beginning of the planning to the day we will never forget, we received the best service from both the courtyard and Mazzone catering. Shana and Ben were there every step of the way to make sure we were taken care of. Jackie who was our attendant for the day also did a fantastic job being there from start to finish. She made sure we had eaten and had anything to drink. I definitely will miss coordinating with everyone but have great memories to look back on. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts in making this day magical! 💕

The Courtyard is a beautiful location, the employees and staff are exceptional and helpful and so far beyond sweet. Mazzone hospitality, who handles all things wedding in the hotel, is extraordinary. Shana is on top of everything and never fails to exceed expectations. She’s personable and kind, Mazzone is outstanding. Our food was tasty, our cake was absolutely beautiful and everything was taken care of. Ben and Jackelyn were very tentative and sweet, making sure our day was everything we expected and envisioned.

We recently had two weddings at the Courtyard. Both our son and daughter got married within a few months of each other. We could not have been more impressed or satisfied with both weddings. Everything went according to plan. The front desk people at the Courtyard go above and beyond, especially Tara.

As a wedding planner it was such an easy process working with the staff at the Courtyard! They were quick to answer questions, assist my couple and create the perfect experience. Everything went off without a hitch and flowed so nicely having a professionally staff onsite. I would highly recommend checking this property for wedding needs!

This hotel is now a Mazzone exclusive property. The hotel staff was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and easy to work with! The rooms are spacious, modern, and super clean. Our guests had a wonderful stay!!

We had our wedding here and it was amazing. I know Mazzone is the caterer but the hotel was great and not a bad price for rooms in the heart of lake George for June 14th wedding. The rooftop ceremony was amazing. The only thing I did not like was the one elevator to get all of my guest up to the rooftop. Also upon check out there were no carts available to bring our luggage out. So please get mor carts. Everything else was awesome!

Unfortunately i didnt get to enjoy much of my day but what i did was great. Food was delicious and everyone was helpful. Wish we could do it over again just to be able to enjoy it more.

The only reason they rated three stars was because the food was great and the people the night of the reception were wonderful. Especially Marc, who is the head of events there. The set-up and staff were all great the night of. Otherwise, it would be 1 to 2 stars. Their "event planning" fee is a sham. We initially contacted them in January and our wedding was in July. We were the ones who always contacted them and it was pulling teeth the majority of the time or they wouldn't get back to us and then would give an excuse. When it was a week and a half before the wedding, they then decided that our event was important enough to pay attention to and started hounding us with questions that they then gave us less than 24 hours to respond to. We planned everything. When I asked for the layout tool for the room a month and a half before the wedding, they wouldn't send me anything until a week and a half before the wedding and their "suggestion" layouts looked as if someone just picked out random things and threw it in the room. Whatever they call "event planning", isn't. They didn't even tell us about an in-house designer they have until 2 weeks before the reception. I will never recommend them or use them ever again. It was so disappointing and frankly really frustrating, especially for the amount of money we were paying them (over
10k).

I reached out to this hotel many times with no response over 6 months. When they finally did respond we made an appointment to check it out. The place is beautiful, but the lady we met with was not very knowledgeable, and not welcoming at all. I sent her an email asking some questions about booking there, it has been over 2 weeks and she hasn't responded. We ended up booking with someone else. I would say the most recent reviews for this Marriott are true in terms of no communication.

Sadly, I hate writing bad reviews. However, if I can help a couple avoid the experience we had for their big day, I feel like I should.

The short story is this. The original Marriott staff we worked with for 90% of our room block was unresponsive and unprofessional. The staff kept changing due to staff leaving (for reasons never clear) and us not being made aware. The staff only became responsive once I reached out to Marriott Corporate and complained. However, it only got worse. The second or third set of staff we ended up working with released our rooms early, yes I said that RELEASED OUR ROOMS EARLY. These rooms booked, making it so no rooms were left for our remaining guests. Despite this major misstep, the staff we worked with who made this mistake were unapologetic and not very responsive and did not seem very eager at all to correct the issue. Our reception location was more helpful and interested in helping us make it right than the staff who made this HUGE mistake.

I think the Marriott is still new which causes major staff turnover. Also, I think they know their rooms will book because they are the most modern property int he area. Thus, they emphasize customer service less, which is disappointing to say the very least.

The only saving grace there is their Asst. GA, Alexis. She is new there, we worked with her at her old job/our wedding venue, The Inn at Erlowest. I hope they value her presence there, since she really was the only one there who tried to make it right. Sadly, by the time she came onto the team, the damage has already occurred.
