  We have a very nice experience working with Cynthia at the Courtyard Marriott in Mankato, MN. She was responsive and helpful with many details including other vendor recommendations. We stopped by when it was decorated for another wedding and was sold on the space. We had 185 guests and we heard positive reviews from them as well.

  Cynthia was amazing! We had a Friday Wedding and everyone loved the venue and the staff! The food and service was perfect! Shout out to Victor! Thank you!! Cynthia would always text me back day or night if I had a question! She really cared and always gave 100%! I would recommend the Coutyard Marriott to anyone! We are so happy we chose to have our wedding there! Thanks again!!

  The Courtyard by Marriott in Mankato was the PERFECT site for our wedding reception. Rachel was great to work with and she said many times "The bride and groom will get whatever they want." which made us feel like royalty. The food was great (my husband especially loved the food tasting prior to the wedding). The service was outstanding and the wait staff was great! I definitely recommend this venue to Mankato Area brides!

  The Marriott did a phenomenal job! Carmen and the event staff did a wonderful job. They were all so helpful and when a few things did go wrong they made sure to fix it. They are a new hotel so they are still working out a few kinks with the hotel but as for the venue portion I couldn't have asked for anything better! They were so personal and even the general manager of the hotel was busing tables to help out! Loved everything about it!!

  We had our reception here, and about 6 months to our wedding, our main contact took another job elsewhere and we didn't hear from the venue for two months about her replacement - and I had to call the hotel to get contact information for the new one. He was very tough to get a hold of, or schedule a meeting with - especially because we didn't live in town and trips to the area had to be scheduled far in advance. In retrospect, I get the feeling that he is just overwhelmed with all the events going on at the hotel - but I still don't feel that with my event of 260 guests should make me feel any less important. I was concerned he didn't have time to listen to my concerns or answer my questions - and that the information we had discussed with our first contact was not properly transferred to him. On the day of the wedding though, he was spot-on - catering to anything we needed, very visible when someone needed assistance, and made things happen quickly. I would say all the stress leading up to the event was almost forgotten on the day-of, but having stress leading up to your wedding is not fun at all. I probably wouldn't change having the event there, given the great service at our reception, but I'd be much more assertive and firm in the planning process!
