Katie and her team at Cotton Rouge were amazing to work with for my wedding, and I can’t say enough good things about them! At the trial, Katie took the time to understand my vision and made me feel confident and beautiful, while still looking like myself. On the day of the wedding, her professionalism, attention to detail, and calming presence made the entire morning so seamless and enjoyable. I highly recommend this company! Amanda did an incredible job with my make-up. After the trial I was so obsessed with it and she did a fantastic job recreating this look the day of my wedding.
One critique I had with my experience though was my hair. But after speaking with Katie the owner she offered me a session to make up for it and was so understanding and amazing!
Overall, my communication with the company was fantastic and the ladies are all really sweet and professional. They really make you feel right at home💕Cotton Rouge and Company's reply:

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Cotton Rouge, and especially Amanda and Staci. My wedding day brought truly wild weather, a full blizzard, and through it all they were nothing but kind, supportive, calm, and absolutely amazing.
At no point did they hesitate or try to back out. Instead, they stayed in close communication, showed up despite the conditions, and even stayed with me at the venue the night before to make sure they could be there. Their professionalism and dedication were unmatched.
Their steady, reassuring presence meant more to me than I can put into words, especially given the circumstances. I am incredibly thankful for Amanda and Staci and will always be grateful for the care and commitment they showed on one of the most important days of my life. Highly recommend. -

Karina-Lynne Horton made me absolutely stunning!! She did my hair and makeup on site and it held till the end. Even through the drastically dropping temperatures for those outdoor venue photos. (Those will come once I have them)
Karina is a professional makeup artist and does fabulous things with both hair and makeup on wedding day. This sweet woman built a super successful business on make up and skincare and is doing even more since then.
It was a blessing to have her get me ready to meet Nathan down the aisle. 👰🏼♀️🤵🏻♂️

I first met the Cotton Rouge company at the bridal fair hosted at the AC hotel and it was love at first sight. The members who represented the company were so excited to talk about the services they have and other members, I immediately scheduled a trial hair and makeup with them. I had Halie as my MUA and hairstylist and boy did she deliver!! I came in with loads of inspo photos for makeup and hair styles that I wanted and she did them for me with suggestions of her own to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. The day of the wedding she made me look unbelievably beautiful!! She is a wizard!! Her talents are incredible with a makeup brush and hair brush. I've never in a million years thought I'd look that incredible and the feeling was incredible as well. Usually it's hard to do Asian makeup, but she pulled magic and made me look stunning! I've never had so many compliments in my life! You just have to look at the picture transformation. 100000% would recommend Halie , and definitely will ask her to do my makeup and hair again for anything special! Thank you so much Halie,!!! Katie has got it! I worked with Katie in a number of different capacities through my wedding planning journey including a trial run I used for bridal portraits and a private boudoir shoot as a gift for my groom. By the time the day of came around I felt more than comfortable with Katie. We had many girls getting hmu and an early start time. Never once had a worry. She made me feel so beautiful without covering up true beauty or making me feel fake or uncomfortable in any way. Exactly what I wanted. -

I’m so glad I hired Cotton Rouge and Company! Katie was an absolute pleasure to work with. During my hair and makeup trial, she explained everything she was doing so that I felt comfortable.
My wedding day timeline was really tight, so I paid a little extra to have two artists. Katie and Amanda were able to complete hair and makeup for seven of us in 2-3 hours. I love how my hair and makeup turned out, and my bridesmaids were very happy with their hair and makeup, too. One of my bridesmaids has very curly hair and was overjoyed that Katie accentuated her curls rather than undoing them. And another loved her hair so much that she didn’t wash it for a week to maintain the style!
Katie was so much fun to talk to and was a calming presence on a big day.

I hired Katie and Jessica to do makeup and hair for my wedding in Asheville, NC. They charged a very reasonable travel fee and were game for getting us glammed up in a cabin in the woods. They were friendly and efficient, and their work was wonderful. They listened to what each of us wanted -- none of us are huge makeup wearers -- and made us look natural and beautiful. Since I didn't do a trial, I was a bit nervous, but they truly know what they are doing. My makeup and hair turned out gorgeous, and I felt amazing on my big day. -

Cotton rogue was amazing every step of the way. My wedding in SC was a destination wedding for me and the communication was so easy throughout the whole process even being out of state. They were so flexible with my hair & makeup trials and made sure it was exactly what I wanted. On wedding day Katie & Staci brought such a fun and relaxing environment. They went above and beyond to make sure each girl had exactly what they wanted for their hair and makeup and looked beautiful. They listened to exactly what we wanted which made the experience great. Katie even went out of her way to grab me a soda to settle my nerves. I had her come back for a touch up as well and she touched up my flower girl with some lip gloss which made her day. They offered a ton of services. We did a trial session so that on the day of the wedding, everything would look perfect. They can do airbrush or traditional. Very friendly, and very accommodating. They will even come out to the venue to do touch-ups as needed. They also did a fantastic job on our hair. My hair absolutely refuses to hold a curl, but somehow they made it happen, and it lasted all night! Excellently done. I would highly recommend. -

Beautiful Hair and Makeup
I decided to hire Cotton Rouge because on of my bridesmaid’s used them for her wedding. My stylist drove to the location I had picked out and quickly set up and got to work. Each girl wanted something different and all she had to do was look at a picture to perfectly recreate it! She was great with my flower girl as well! Leigh and Staci were amazing to work with!
We had our wedding on May 30, 2021 and used Leigh for makeup and Staci for hair. They were both amazing to work with and super friendly! I had my engagement photos 8 months before my wedding and wanted to use that time as a trial. I went to their salon in downtown Greenville with pictures of how I wanted my hair and makeup done, and they did exactly what I requested. Every time I have gotten my hair and make up done for proms or other weddings, I haven’t liked it. Staci was very attentive and asked questions along the way, like if I wanted volume, this twist or that twist, and even recommended what would look better on me than the picture I provided. Leigh was so sweet and chose the perfect colors for my complexion and lips. Fast forward to my wedding, they showed up on time and ready to go. My bridesmaids all wanted an updo, but Staci added touches to make them slightly different, it was perfect. All of our hair and makeup stayed all night, even through the heat, humidity, and dancing. I highly recommend Cotton Rouge, Leigh, and Staci! -

Trei and Meghan were amazing! My bridesmaids, mom, and I were thrilled with their work. We all looked natural and felt beautiful. They had great personalities and helped make the getting ready environment fun. Trei even had a speaker for us to use for music - and left my mom with the blush that he used on her after she expressed how much she liked it. They were prompt and timely. We had a great experience with Cotton Rouge! From Day 1, they were super responsive with all of my questions and super flexible when I had to postpone our wedding date and change the number of services when we decided to move forward with a micro-wedding. So helpful during a stressful time.
Our artist was Melissa Aubil and she did an amazing job handling 12 services on her own after traveling to our destination wedding in NC! We all looked beautiful and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. She was efficient, but also took the time to make sure everyone was happy (and even making changes and doing touchups during the timeframe) while still keeping us on schedule.

I am a very organized person. My friends and family may not have that strength. On my wedding day, I was feeling the stress of getting bodies into chairs for hair and make up and the amazing staff of Cotton and Rouge noticed and insisted I take a breather and remember that I am the bride.
I have had a bit of trouble with acne but the amazing tricks of the trade made sure everything was hidden from view and I looked flawless.
When I put on my dress, there was some curl smooshing. The girls came right back and made sure I was in top bridal shape for my big day. I felt elegant, polished, but most importantly, the best possible version of myself. -

I am so glad I used Cotton Rouge for the makeup and hair for my wedding. I did a trial with Jade prior to my engagement photos, and absolutely loved how it turned out! The company is always quick to respond on the weekdays. The prices are comparable to the other artists out there as well.
On my wedding day, Lauren and Jade showed up right on time and got straight to work! All of us ladies felt beautiful by the time they were through, and our makeup and hair lasted from the morning until after our reception ended that night. I always worry hair and makeup might just be too much. The team here did an amazing job of listening to each style my 7 bridesmaids wanted and executing the perfect look for the day. Cotton Rouge and Company was such a great choice for all of our hair and makeup needs at my wedding! I used this company because my sister-in-law used them at her wedding a few years prior. I fell in love with how sweet and professional they are. They are very, very good at their jobs! Heather (our artist) traveled almost three hours to get to our venue. She was so easy to work with and did such a great job making us all look so beautiful. I am not one to wear a lot of makeup and she did such an amazing job at making me feel confident and beautiful. Their pricing is very reasonable as well! -

I can’t recommend Cotton Rouge enough! Mandy did an amazing job on my hair and makeup for portraits and the big day! We also had an additional artist working on makeup for bridesmaids on the wedding day and she was wonderful as well. They were so welcoming and fun to work with throughout the day and did such a good job with everyone. We had full use of the salon downtown which was so cute and a great place for all of us to relax, have brunch and enjoy getting ready together before the ceremony.
Pricing was great and transparent throughout the process as well!
Makeup and hair stayed ALL day and throughout the reception and was stunning. So glad I chose Cotton Rogue for my wedding day! -

Makeup and Hair Success!
Cotton Rouge is very responsive to requests and questions. They are personable and make your entire experience relaxing and fun. My trial (which I used for rehearsal dinner) and wedding makeup were perfect. My hair fell out a bit toward the end but I was jumping around a ton.
Overall- I would highly recommend Cotton Rouge Makeup and Hair studio. They kept the wedding party on time and even got my hair/makeup completed early to give me time to get extra photos taken.

I hired Cotton Rouge last minute as I was trying to find someone affordable that could also do airbrush makeup. Shockingly, it was pretty difficult to locate someone who offered both. But, Cotton Rouge saved the day. Not only was it affordable, they worked so well with my timeline and all of the makeup was just stunning. We received so many compliments! Leigh also arrived early and worked in all TWELVE of my girls (including mom and honorary Bridesmaids) within our requested timeline. She was perfect! 10 out of 10! -

Katie and her team are just the BEST. Katie did my wedding and my sisters, along with every other wedding I've been in that was in the Greenville area! I worked with Melissa and she was awesome! I did a hair and make-up trial run and she didn't make me feel bad when I changed my mind on the hair style I wanted. She gave me tips on things to get and get done for the big day and was always available and responsive when I reached out to her. She went above and beyond on our wedding day. She came to our reception venue's bridal suit and got my 3 bridesmaids, mom of the groom and myself prettied up. She was early, professional and at the same time felt like a friend. At our request, she came to our ceremony venue to do touch-ups. She made the trek up the mountain to Pretty Place Chapel in a torrential downpour. When we got to the chapel the main entrance was flooded because of a clogged drain and there was several inches of water in the bridal suite. She didn't let that hinder her and got to work dragging out her tools and set to work tirelessly curling and re-curling our hair and doing make-up touchups and providing moral support for our first look, ceremony and final touch-ups for romantic and bridal pics. The service she provided was invaluable and you can't put a price on feeling beautiful and confident on such a momentous occasion. Highly recommend! -

Price was extremely reasonable and more than worth it for the quality of work! Melissa was the artist who took care of me and my wedding party. We were given a window of time that was more than enough time to get ready and to make sure everyone was happy and that there was no rush. Melissa worked carefully and efficiently and made sure that everyone got what they wanted and were satisfied with the outcome. She made sure to do touch ups on the ones who went first and her range in ability was wonderful! Not only is she great at what she does, but she is friendly and caring and helped make sure I wasn't getting too anxious which meant constantly reminding me to breathe, haha. My main concern was that the hair and make up would not last, but that was not the case. It was just as beautiful at the end of the night as it was in the morning when it was done, and it felt like you had nothing on. You cannot go wrong! We did schedule trial runs before the event for myself and my daughter. That was fun, and we coordinated it with her bridal portraits. Katie herself is just a lovely person, and she had so many good tips to share.
