Working with Carla for our wedding in France was one of the best decisions we made. From start to finish, she was fantastic, she knew everything there was to know about planning a wedding abroad and guided us through every detail with ease.
She helped us understand our budget without ever making it feel restrictive, and every vendor she recommended was top-notch. Carla went above and beyond at every stage, solving problems before they even arose, and making sure we felt supported and excited rather than stressed.
When the weather forecast suddenly called for rain, Carla helped us make a solid Plan B, and kept us feeling positive. In the end, it didn’t even rain but knowing she had our backs let us just enjoy the day without stressing.
On the big day, everything ran seamlessly and our wedding was more magical than we could have imagined and that’s entirely due to her expertise and dedication.
If you’re planning a wedding in France, I can’t recommend Carla enough -

We feel so incredibly lucky to have had Carla as our wedding planner! From beginning to end, she was super communicative and always available, making the entire process stress-free and enjoyable. Her openness in communication made it so easy for us to share our ideas and concerns, and she truly over-delivered in every way.
Fluent in both French and English, she seamlessly managed all aspects of the planning and coordination, ensuring that every single detail ran perfectly. She immediately understood the vibe and style we envisioned for our wedding and brought it to life even better than we imagined.
She worked tirelessly, organizing everything (and everyone!) smoothly and efficiently, so we could simply enjoy our day without worry. Beyond her professionalism and incredible work ethic, she is a warm and friendly person. A joy to work with.

Although we’ve tried, these words do not do justice to how perfectly Carla planned and orchestrated our dream wedding. We had ideas and concepts, but Carla turned these into a previously unimaginable reality.
In the early stages, Carla recommended the vendors that were the perfect match for our concept and recommended a few others that we hadn’t even thought of. As we got closer to the big day, Carla was the drum that made sure that the chateau, caterers, and DJ were marching to the same beat. We never had to worry with Carla in charge, and it made the run-up to the wedding a relatively relaxed affair.
Over the wedding weekend, Carla had a huge workload, with several locations and vendors to manage. Never flustered, Carla brought incredible energy and positivity throughout and helped make everything run just as we’d hoped. Carla also helped guide us to a few changes to the original plan that made the weekend even more special.
We really cannot recommend Carla highly enough; She’s creative, personable, intuitive, organised, and will do absolutely everything to ensure your event or wedding is the best it can be! -

Carla is the best!
Carla not only did all of the amazing florals and helped us to put our vision into action, but she also helped us to plan our ceremony and day-of schedule. The florals were stunning. We received so many compliments about the way everything looked. We could not have been happier with her work. Her creative ideas helped to fuel our vision. 5 stars all around!!!! -

My husband and I are very "Do-it-yourself" type people, but we quickly recognized that we were going to need some help the day of the wedding. Talking with Carla on the phone, I instantly know that she was the one to help us with the "day of" coordination services. She thought of everything that I didn't and made sure we were on the right track every step of the way. She was easy to reach throughout the whole process, quickly answering any questions I had and providing the advice I needed. She was also super supportive of all the crazy diy things we were doing (my husband built all the tables for the reception and while most people thought it was a crazy idea, Carla was excited about it).
She went above and beyond the day of our wedding, making sure everything was set up perfectly and things were going smoothly. She took the pressure out of coordinating all the separate vendors and making sure they were all on the same page. Honestly if anything went wrong that day, I had no idea, she was calm and professional throughout it. We really could not have pulled it off without her!
Even though we originally hadn't put a wedding coordinator into our budget, it was probably the best thing to do and we are so happy we made room in the budget for one! And Carla should definitely be a top choice!!! -

Molly Sent on 10/11/2013We were planning our wedding in Upstate New York but living in New York City. After debating whether or not to hire a coordinator, I decided to hire Carla based on her pricing and on a review from a bride in a similar situation as us. Carla's prices seemed to be half the price of any other coordinator I had researched. She was very accommodating to meet with me during my brief visit in the area to make wedding arrangements.
Even though we only hired Carla for "day of" coordination services, she was very responsive to my many questions and gave a lot of advice, including decorating advice, etiquette, etc. She helped to buy some items I was having trouble finding and loaned us some items she had. She even made a wishing tree for us and arranged several small arrangements of our loose flowers without charging us extra. I admit I was a very OCD bride and had a lot of decorations and instructions. All the decorations looked perfect. Carla had even made a special trip to our wedding venue before the wedding day to familiarize herself with the venue, meet with the venue staff, and make sure everyone was on the same page.
On the wedding day, her assistant was able to pick up the desserts, which was great because most bakeries would not deliver on Sundays. I had wanted a small wedding cake and a dessert table. We had ordered two simple white cakes from Wegman's, one small one medium. Carla put them together that day with some of our roses and the cake was beautiful. She was there until the very end packing up our decorations. At the end of the day we gave her a pretty big tip as we felt she really had undercharged for her services and had included so many extra services for which she hadn't charged us extra. -

I can sum it up in one moment, I had forgotten to do something last minute and was in the middle of the rehearsal dinner. Carla texted back with a simple " I have it!" Carla was my piece of mind. -

Lisa Sent on 09/20/2014Carla was amazing, and I have already recommended her to multiple family members and friends. Planning a wedding from afar was a little intimidating, but Carla made it simple. She was incredibly professional, prepared, and helpful. Not surprisingly, I had never planned a wedding before so it was so reassuring to have her help. Everything went great the day of the wedding, but that's only the beginning of how much she impressed me. She did my flowers and décor and it was PERFECT! She over-delivered on every single thing I asked for. I had a few (well, maybe more than a few...) specific requests for wooden/rustic décor that she went out of her way to make/find/pull together. Without seeing it beforehand, I was honestly a little nervous because I wasn't sure how well I conveyed my vision to her. The day of the wedding, when I first saw each of the touches she put together, I was blown away. It was so beautiful and perfect, better than I had even asked for. The flowers were beautiful as well. Without knowing much about flowers, I gave her some but not much direction, and they were lovely. Overall, it was well worth the money - and then some! I recommend Carla in a heartbeat :) -

She was sometimes slow to respond to my questions and emails, but at the end of the day the event was beautiful and everything I dreamed of. There were a few small details that got mixed up (seating, place cards, etc.), but everything was quickly fixed the day of, and I was not aware until days later when my mom told me. I really appreciated everything Carla did to make the wedding day, and really the time going up to it, easy on me. Everything was covered, and I did not have to worry about having my family and friends do anything other than get ready, show up, and have a great time. -

As an event planner, I understand the importance of honest reviews. Here's our experience with Carla for my September 2024 wedding.
We initially met Carla at Château du Feÿ, where she was employed. After a disappointing experience with another planner, we hired Carla 5 months before our wedding, hoping her 3+ years of specialized venue expertise would be invaluable.
To our surprise, Carla had not worked with half of our vendors before - even though they were part of the short list of recommended vendors provided by the venue.
Despite her website's claims, Carla's design suggestions felt generic and lacked the personalized touch we were looking for. Carla's lack of attention to detail became increasingly apparent as we worked with her. The mounting oversights caused significant stress in the final weeks leading up to the wedding. We were genuinely anxious that our vision wouldn't be realized.
Our wedding had many unique and custom details. Lots of information that a seasoned wedding planner would be able to keep an attentive handle on. Luckily, we had multiple vendors and family friends that helped Carla execute the event. As the bride, I distanced myself as much as possible from Carla to allow myself to enjoy the day without frustration. This is not the typical experience.
While we appreciate Carla's willingness to take us on with short notice, and she did have some helpful insights regarding sourcing a local florist and unique videographers, her lack of attention to detail ultimately overshadowed those positives.
