Our venue and Cosmopolitan Catering work hand in hand, and we were so pleased with the entire experience. Our wedding food was amazing, the staff was so kind.
So many menu choices, the food was delicious and presented beautifully. We had so many guests compliment the menu for the evening.
Would absolutely use again. -

Our incredible experience with Louland Falls !
What a perfect day, My husband and I absolutely love this venue! Working with Amy & Mark was such a pleasure, their entire team was incredible and I really appreciate how smooth they made our special day, not to mention that Amy(the day of coordinator) explained everything in detail. Sam and I always felt like we were all on the same page and it never felt like we were forgotten; communication is key and they nailed it. This venue is breathtaking and truly speaks for itself, but the management is what makes this place ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The food is delish we got “The Normandie” and still haven’t heard the end of how yummy the food was. Everything we could ask for and more. THANK YOU -

Delicious!
My guy and I opted for a simple menu, one that could be customizable for guests (since we all know it's hard to please everyone), so we spoke with Mark regarding what options would work. While I didn't get to eat tons of the food since the wedding day is INSANE, what I did have was so good! The jalapeno slider we asked for was indeed spicy, the garlic slider tasted like the best roasted garlic, the salsa was fresh, guests wouldn't stop complimenting about the potato salad, I loved it! I was sad to not get any leftovers but I know it's policy, so I can't complain. Anyone who hires Cosmopolitan Catering invite me so I can taste more! -

We lucked out! The owner, Mark, also owns the venue where we were married, Louland Falls! The food was exceptional, and Mark was so great to work with including making exceptions for dietary and allergy needs, the brides picky taste, and the overall feeling for the reception! -

We were even able to determine how it was all decorated. I was really happy for an amazing venue and food...because the band, Daniel Day Trio, ditched us! But thanks Cosmopolitan Catering you did great. My brother works in the wedding industry as well and he would recommend them also. -

Tiffany Sent on 07/26/2011I found Rose Sachs Gardens at a bridal expo and we were invited to a catering tasting at the venue. It was GORGEOUS. My husband and I live in Salt Lake, but our wedding was in Florida. If we had chosen to have our wedding in Salt Lake, we would have chosen Rose Sachs, 100%. We walked around, took pictures, envisioned where we would do everything. It is a beautiful, natural, romantic setting that will make a perfect venue for any wedding. They also have a list of approved vendors for flowers, linens, catering, cake, etc. so it takes a lot of the guess work out and narrows down the list for you. -

They have lots of options for food! We did the pasta and it was really good! Appetizers were good! They have lots of menus to fit your budget! -
User1747574 Sent on 08/04/2014I have had tons of guests raving about how good the food was for our wedding. The chicken florentine was amazing!! We also had a mashtini bar, meatballs, pasta bar, and some appetizers. The reason it's not a perfect 5 on everything is that the mashed potatoes were a little cold (no one else seemed to mind though) and the lines through the buffet went a little slow. To be fair, I'm not sure that is the staff's fault. I was told that our guests, for one reason or another, took a little longer than expected at each station.
With the appetizers beforehand and the drinks that were being served, however, I really don't think it was an issue.
We've had nothing but positive interactions with Mark. He has been attentive to our concerns and requests and did an amazing job. I would definitely recommend Cosmopolitan Catering to friends! -

Erik Sent on 11/02/2017We went with Cosmopolitan catering because it was the preferred vendor for Louland Falls. Mark worked with us to create a menu that was mostly within our budget, it ended up being about 500 over what we wanted to spend, but that being said I think our budget might have been too low to being with. The food and service the day of the wedding was very good. The timing of everything was good from appetizers, drinks, dinner, and dessert. The woman tending the bar was especially friendly. We had asked for lemon and raspberry bars for dessert and instead got these chocolate bars, but that was the only thing that differed in our planning with Mark. -
User930633 Sent on 09/11/2012Prior to my wedding I had an in depth conversation with Mark about the toast,
the food, and the cake. What a waste of my time as he didn't listen to anything I
had asked for! I also found out from several guests after the wedding that Mark
dropped an entire tray of meatballs. He should have at least told me about this
and reimbursed me. Then he asked one of my guests if he was going to eat all his
meatballs. Also, I explained to him in advance that he would need to move my cake outside. I explained what layers would need to be moved separately. At the last minute he refused to move it. My parents and my in laws both missed the cake cutting. It was done inside crammed in the corner. My husband is cool as a cucumber and even said that Mark had a bad attitude from the minute he got there. He pulled up and was shaking his head and looked put out that he had to even be there. He was my most expensive vendor and I was the least happy with him. I understand he has recently become the
owner of a few local reception places the Woods on Ninth being one of them. I
would not recommend using him for catering or booking at Woods on Ninth
because you are required to use him. Extremely unprofessional. Lacked care and pride in his work.Cosmopolitan Catering's reply:
I'm always disappointed when someone feels that our services were sub-par. I do remember this event and dispute some of the comments that have been made. First of all I never dropped a pan of meatballs. I do remember the guest who I made the comment to. He had been back to the buffet at least 5 times, taking piles of meatballs on each visit. We still had guests to serve and I was trying to get him to slow down so as to make sure we had food for everyone. I'll admit that my comment was somewhat rude, and for that I apologize. Second, I never have refused to move a cake. We move cakes at this venue all the time. I dont know why we didnt move the cake for this one, but I didn't refuse to move it. It could have been the owner of the venue decided it was too risky. I really don't know. It's their call, not mine. As far as I remember, we arrived on time, had the food ready to go on time, did a beautiful presentation, the food was delicious, we didin't run out, and we ran the bar perfectly. I'm sorry this client was unhappy with a few things that weren't quite the way she wanted.
