A wedding is a once (or in my case twice !) in a lifetime event and I had a very , very high bar. We are fanatical about food and drink . We prioritize local , seasonal food and the highest quality food and service . I had been at events over the years that Chef Alison had catered and was blown away. This was all that and more .
The selections of food , including vegetarian , vegan and meat (all local ) was amazing . Every dish we had was perfect and guests were blown away as well. And let’s just say the cocktails were enjoyed by all at a rate that exceeded most people’s normal cocktail consumption . The event was very very festive to say the least! Both food and drinks were also wonderfully unique , as they were based on ingredients from coriander farm just miles away !
The setting was just as unique and amazing . We are tried and true Detroiters , as is our community, yet most people didn’t know the canals even existed and were blown away by the beauty and soul of the setting . No sanitized , generic nor stuffy beauty here: a rustic elegance that extended to the table settings , flowers and service it was exactly as I had envisioned .
Lastly Alison and Gwen (owners ) and her team were professional and supportive and 100% committed to making this the event of our dreams. I cannot recommend Coriander highly enough and thank them for making this an event as beautiful as our love and our community . And our beloved city of Detroit ! -

Coriander provides a unique venue that hardly requires any additional decoration plus you get access to the premium farm-to-table food and drink menu they are known for as a Restaurant. We were able to use all their existing furniture as well making for a very stress free process leading up to the event. -

Nourishing, seasonal, beautiful wedding catering!
Alison and Gwen - of Coriander Kitcen and Farm - and their team provided the perfect, nourishing, seasonal, and beautiful spread for our wedding. The food - all seasonal and bountiful and rooted in Michigan - was delicious and gorgeous - and the team went above and beyond to ensure a wonderful and carefree experience for our friends and family. It was truly a dream, delight and an honor to have Coriander Kitchen & Farm play such a significant role in our wedding festivities. Thank you, Coriander! -
