Highly Talented Musicians, Amazing Song Selection List

Corelli performed at our wedding ceremony, the cocktail hour, and during part of our reception. After quite a bit of research, we chose Corelli over other musicians based on their overall sound/style and because they an expansive song list to choose from - offering a great balance of classic wedding tunes (ceremony), to modern hits (cocktail hour)! Communication leading up to the event was excellent.

They are SO talented and the music was absolutely beautiful! The music was definitely a highlight of our wedding day! We can't recommend them highly enough.

So happy we went with Corelli Strings

Thank you so much to Midori from Corelli Strings for making our ceremony music so beautiful and memorable for our wedding. My partner and I had a one-hour wedding at SF City Hall and were given a list of vendors by City Hall events that we were allowed to choose from. After reviewing the list of musicians and reading some reviews, Corelli Strings was my first choice. Midori was incredibly responsive from our first interaction — she also was very honest when she had feedback about the ceremony timing and structure, which really helped us a lot. I appreciate that Midori was so focused on being able to deliver the best experience possible for my partner and I as well as our wedding guests, even if that meant she and I having to spend a little more time over email discussing the overall flow or specific song selection. We paid extra for Corelli Strings to play a song that was not part of their existing song selection list and I am so glad we did. If we had been able to do that with even more songs I would have loved to — I felt like the price was a bargain for something so personal. The other songs we chose from the existing song list and were very happy with those options. I heard from many guests afterwards how much they enjoyed our music selection and Corelli Strings’ performance before, during, and after our ceremony. Thank you again Midori! I am so glad you were able to add such a beautiful touch to our wedding day.

Beautiful!

What a wonderful experience! We hired Corelli Strings for our wedding in wine country as they came highly recommended, and could not be happier that we did. They have an extensive list of both modern and classical pieces, which made choosing the music for our ceremony and cocktail hour really fun and exciting. Getting to mix in pieces from our favorite movies made the selection feel unique and personal, and we even got to request a special arrangement for 'Despacito' which my family loved. Thank you for adding to the beauty and romance of our big day!

Beautiful Music!

Can not thank Corelli Strings enough. Midori was an absolute dream to work with. The music they played for us was perfect. The hardest part was picking which of their amazing songs we wanted them to play. What really stood out to us, besides their beautiful music was their professionalism, and willingness to adapt. When we wanted a very specific song for the ceremony, they learned it for us. When we found out a month before our wedding that we could no longer have amplified music, Corelli was willing to play longer for us, all the way from guest arrival, through dinner. When our venue flooded and we had to find a new one, they were happy to play at the new venue. Even when we promised them dinner, and then the caterer packed up before they could eat, they didn't even complain (though I still feel really bad, sorry!) They are amazing, and we can not thank them enough for helping make our perfect day so special.

Beautiful music played for our wedding

I found Corelli Strings on a few reviews on different websites and they definitely lived up to their 5 star entertainment. They are very organized and tentative. We used them for our reception and cocktail hour and I couldn't be happier with their service and professionalism. Thank you Corelli for making our special day a very memorable one!

Beautiful music for our ceremony

We chose Corelli Strings for our SF City Hall private ceremony and they were a joy to work with. Before we booked them, we met with them to hear the songs in person, and after hearing them it was an immediate yes. The rest of the planning with them was so easy. The day of, the music was absolutely beautiful, and really made the ceremony feel like something special to celebrate. We would highly recommend working with Corelli Strings!

No need to look further if you dreamed of strings at your wedding ceremony like me!

Midori was incredible to work with. I reached out about a string duo for my wedding and her response time was so fast. Their pricing is super fair as I had looked at many string musicians. And the musicians were top notch. Their library of songs they can play fits the bill for almost anyone's weeding style. We wanted more of a pop twist not using traditional classical music and Corelli Strings nailed it! Midori made it so easy to work with to ensure not a detail was missed in communication. I would strongly recommend them if you want strings for your special day. It's worth working with a group over an individual artist to have a safety net of many musicians should you have any last minute changes or things come up.

Highly Recommended!

Working with Midori and the amazing musicians as Corelli Strings for our wedding was a really fantastic experience all around. The pre-wedding communication and coordination was excellent — Midori was super responsive and a pleasure to work with. At the wedding, the musicians completely exceeded all expectations and really blew everyone away. The level of talent is really incredible to hear and watch, and their performance at both our ceremony and reception was flawless. Beautiful Music

I loved working with Corelli Strings! They provided such amazing customer service during the reservation/booking process; they were informative regarding fees, what they could play and they had an extensive playlist. Midori was fast with their response time and on the day of, they sounded even better than the samples provided on their website.

Highly recommend them for whatever your event it may be. I'm sad that I wasn't able to enjoy them as much during my wedding since I was off taking photos and hidden most of the time. But they played beautifully and all our guests loved them.

Great musicians, easy to work with, at a fair price!

We hired Corelli Strings for our one hour private ceremony at San Francisco City Hall. They were professional and very helpful throughout the planning process. They delivered as agreed during our ceremony and the music was perfect! Thank you Corelli Strings for making our day so special. Would recommend them for anyone looking for a string duo at City Hall!

Absolutely loved Corelli Strings. Great selection of songs, on time, professional appearance/presentation, and most of all very affordable. We didn't have to sacrifice quality for a great price. We and our guests were very impressed. Great detail to accent the ambiance of our San Francisco City Hall venue. Highly recommend.

We decided to choose Corelli Strings after searching through quite a few music services in the Bay area for our City Hall wedding. From the very beginning, Midori was extremely cordial and communicated frequently. Pricing was extremely fair, comparatively to many others we searched. Coming from out of town and not having familiarity with services we were selecting, they made us feel at home with their communication and service. And on the day of, the music was superb! They were early to arrive, met with our officiants, were organized throughout the process, eased our stress, and played beautifully before, during, and after our service. We had a mixture of modern and classical songs, and they even customized trio-to-duo arrangements of songs we wanted played, to our surprise! It made the afternoon so much more enjoyable! Highly, highly recommend Corelli and Midori for your music service.

We found Corelli Strings on the recommended list of Cliffhouse. We had perfect wedding on June 8, thanks to professional string trio team. All the play lists were done elegantly and professionally. When we reached out Midori 4 months prior to the wedding, she patiently advised us about play lists through countless emails. And since they had lots of experience playing in Cliffhouse, every detail went smoothly. We would recommend Corelli Strings for every couple who's planning the wedding.

We went with Corelli Strings to provide a sting trio to perform for 2 hours at our wedding ceremony based on some of these rave reviews. Communication was excellent throughout the booking process, expectations/rates were clear and fair (after pricing around a few other string services), but most of all: the arrangements and musicians were superb!

We had them custom-arrange one of our favorite songs and it sounded amazing. I highly recommend Corelli Strings!

Corelli Strings was the perfect addition to our City Hall wedding. I initially chose them for their reasonable rate and wide song selection but over time I was so impressed with their responsiveness and professionalism. Day of the wedding I didn't worry about them at all, I literally showed up and they were playing Michael Jackson's "Human Nature". It was so beautiful I get emotional thinking about it, I mean what is more gorgeous than a string duo at your wedding ceremony?

We chose Corelli Strings to play at our small wedding at San Francisco City Hall, and they were absolutely wonderful to work with! We just got married at the Mayor's Balcony at San Francisco City Hall. We decided to have a string duo (cello and violin) for our ceremony and we couldn't have been happier with the quality and talent, as well as how smooth everything went with the timing of the music and flow with the ceremony. The music sounded so beautiful and it was the perfect touch to add to our special day. Leading up to the wedding day, I had many questions and Midori was very responsive to my emails. We just had our small ceremony at San Francisco's beautiful City Hall on the 4th floor North balcony. We hired a string duo, and couldn't have been more thrilled! They sounded absolutely beautiful. Our ceremony just wouldn't be the same without our talented musicians. All our guests were very impressed. We live in Florida but has our wedding in San Francisco, so we solely had to go off of reviews when choosing our ceremony music. With all the great reviews, we choose Corelli Strings to play music at our wedding ceremony. We couldn't have picked a better choice because they made our ceremony so beautiful and special with their music! We choose songs for each part of our ceremony and this helped translate the love we felt for each other and our guests. Their music made the atmosphere feel romantic and our wedding day was perfect!

My wife and I hired Corelli Strings to perform at our wedding in October of 2016. I would definitely recommend their services for any future event. They sound wonderful, are easy to work with, and are very creative with song requests. The following provides our experience with Corelli String.

RESPONSIVENESS (5/5)
Corelli Strings was very responsive. When my wife and I initially inquired about their services (through their website), they responded within a 24-hour period providing an informational package. When we decided to go with Corelli Strings, the contract was very easy to review and provided all necessary information, such as extended time fees and other requirements. Corelli Strings was also very accommodating. My wife and I essential planned most of the wedding; and as we got closer to the date, we noticed that we had some gaps in our timeline. Corelli Strings was very flexible and allowed us to make changes to our contract. Pleas note that we made changes about 2 months in advance before our wedding date. If you end up hiring Corelli Strings for your next event, please have these types of conversations with them, as they are very easy to discuss situations with. About a month prior to the event, Corelli Strings provides a song event planner worksheet. It was very easy to go through. I would recommend being as descriptive as possible. Their event planner also follows up with the worksheet to make sure they have an understating of what is expected.

SERVICE (5/5)
We ended up hiring them for about a 2.5-hour time block. We also requested the composition of 2 modern songs and a 30-minute demo (both services have additional costs, which are very reasonable). I would recommend a demo, especially if you end up requesting song compositions. All I can say is that they sound great, both at the demo and at the event. As far as sound goes, they sound remarkable.

I absolutely loved MIdori and Corelli Strings. She ended up arranging two pieces of music for me in addition to their regular repertoire. I have a pretty extensive background in classical music and their musicianship and performance impressed me and the rest of the music fans in my family. Midori was so responsive to all my emails. Please book them. They sound wonderful. For a few minutes before I walked down the aisle, I just stood there and listened to the string duo play and it gave me such joy.

We reserved the string trio for our wedding in the San Francisco Botanical Garden, and they were absolutely perfect!!!! Correlli had a fantastic selection of both classical and modern songs, and the guests raved about the music!!!!

Corelli Strings did an amazing job at our SF City Hall wedding, they are quick returning emails, and they are there to answer questions you may have.

Coreilli Strings is also very affordable, they come early and set up. You don't have to worry about them not knowing where to go. The string duo sounded so beautiful at the wedding, and all of our guests had nothing but great things to say about them!

All around they were very wonderful, friendly, and made gave my wedding ceremony that extra TLC =)

I highly recommend using them for ALL your live musical needs.

My wife and I worked with Corelli Strings for our wedding - they provided cocktail hour and entrance music. We really appreciated their selection of music - everything from classical to modern (even the Game of Thrones theme which made us smile). Corelli were incredibly professional and easy to work with; they even provided us with input and feedback about timing for bridesmaid and bride entrances. Midori was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. On the day of, when everything is already stressful, they were calm and collected and helped us feel comfortable that everything would go according to plan - and it did!

My husband and I got married in May and Correli Strings played music for the ceremony. This was actually the second time that I used this company and both times they were incredibly responsive, very helpful and professional and ultimately played beautifully. We LOVED Corelli Strings! We can not thank Midori and Corelli Strings enough for playing for our daughters wedding at the Rotunda in SF City Hall. They were so well organized from beginning to end. They had an amazing list of music to chose from and assisted with the process. They were knowledgeable and very experienced. And the music was AMAZING!!! Five stars all the way for Corelli Strings. First and foremost, the musicianship was superb. Busy being father of the bride, I only wish I could have pulled up a chair and listened more attentively. Midori was the consummate professional when it came to communicating with me and guiding me through all the appropriate considerations at several stages before the event. The bride and groom wanted to enter to a very non-standard song, and Midori affordably charted a beautiful version of it from scratch after I forwarded only a youtube clip of the song. The mixture of other classical and modern tunes we requested blended perfectly. They took an otherwise perfect event up to a higher level of elegance.

We were lucky enough to receive a referral for Midori and Corelli Strings at our wedding in Healdsburg. We were SO pleased with the service from the start. They worked with us to customize our music choices, even learned a few new songs, and nailed it the day of the wedding!!! Everyone raved about. They are a must for your ceremony.

If you want the best experience for not only for you but for your guests, I highly suggest you hire Corelli Strings. They set the tone of our wedding. It was truly magical, elegant and classy to say the least. We’ve received so many compliments about them and heard nothing but amazing things about our day because of them. They add that unique touch and leave your guests with a memorable experience. I am so HAPPY with had them for our big day! They are reasonably priced, professional and super accommodating. If you need strings for an event - you HAVE to go with Corelli.
First off, Midori - who is your primary contact for any event is one of the (if not THE) most professional vendors I dealt with during our wedding planning. Her responses are always extremely prompt and thorough. She is always happy to answer any questions you may have - or clarify any uncertainties. She is also extremely flexible and is always willing to do whatever it takes to make it work.
The quartet that we had for our wedding was phenomenal. They showed up right on time (if not a bit early) and required no direction at all - they just set up on their own and began playing. And they sounded great!

So, if you want a string ensemble for your event - definitely get Corelli. I am certain that there will not be another vendor you work with who is more professional and who delivers what you want/request better than them.

I was so happy that we had a trio from Corelli Strings play at our wedding. Midori was always so professional and prompt in her communication with us as we were planning the wedding. Corelli Strings was very accommodating, they composed songs for us that we requested without any hesitation, and when the trio played our requests they were just wonderful. The musicians were prompt, and flexible - some of our guests were delayed arriving, but the musicians just played on. The musicians played beautifully and made our ceremony truly special.

They are super talented, the music is awesome, and Midori makes the process smooth and simple. Corelli Strings played at our wedding at the Italian Consulate in San Francisco on October 30. Corelli Strings was amazing! They were easy to work with, they were great with communication and they were an absolute joy to have them there to bring our wedding to life. They performed for our intimate San Francisco City Hall wedding and filled the private balcony with beautiful music from the moment our guests arrived to the time we left.

The string duo was the perfect size for a city hall wedding and they sounded great in the space. Corelli Strings helped us select music from their great list of songs and arranged a string duo version of our song to use for our recessional. Corelli Strings played wonderfully at my wedding ceremony last weekend. Leading up to the event Midori was very responsive and super helpful with any questions I had. I booked Corelli Strings to perform at my wedding ceremony at sf city hall and they did such a great job! The events dept at city hall recommended them and I can see why they are a preferred vendor. It was such an easy and stress-free process booking them. Inquiring about availability and pricing (super reasonable!), booking, to going over the music selections...the correspondence was quick, easy, and very professional. Midori was always available to answer any questions I had.

I ended up booking a string duo (violin and guitar) and they both played beautifully! Thank you Natalie (violinist) and Paul (guitarist) for being such a wonderful addition to our special day!

When I was still searching for musicians I would listen to their music selection samples and I didn't enjoy a lot of their arrangements and tempo. I'm very particular about the tempo of the music, especially for a wedding ceremony! You don't want them to play too fast or too slow. And also, if you're choosing classical pieces you want them to be just that...classical...and not some modern twist on a classical piece. Maybe someone would want that, but that wasn't for me lol. When I listened to Corelli's samples it was exactly what I was looking for. Corelli played my music selections perfectly and with great timing!

The duo continued to play after the ceremony while we were taking pictures and I loved it. It was very calming for me to hear them amidst the chaos of picture taking haha. If you're thinking of hiring musicians to play at a special event...you can trust that Corelli Strings will be a perfect choice!

Corelli Strings performed at our wedding a few weeks ago in Napa and were fantastic! Corelli Strings played beautifully on our wedding day. The trio came on time, set up quickly, and entertained our guests prior, during, and after the wedding ceremony. We overheard plenty of our guests raving about the music played during our ceremony. Although we focused on classical music, we heard lovely string rendition of current pop hits (i.e. Marry Me, A Thousand Years, etc). My mom, who is somewhat of a snob when it comes to classical music, could not stop telling me that the best part of our wedding ceremony was the string trio. She keeps telling me Corelli's rendition of Canon in D was unforgettable. (Uh,.. I thought it was watching her son get married that's supposed to be unforgettable.. but whatever...)

We highly recommend Corelli Strings for couples looking for musicians on their big day.

We hired them based on their stellar Yelp reviews, and they certainly lived up to their reputation.
They were flexible, professional and above all, wonderful musicians who provided the romantic touch my wife and I were looking for. Do not hesitate to hire them for your ceremony; they are excellent musicians and consumate professionals.
We had a few last-minute snags to address, which Midori handled with no complaints. Can't say enough good things about Corelli Strings.

Midori was very pleasant to work with and extremely responsive, answering all my emails with all the details I requested.

I was very impressed the professionalism they showed and their flexibility when I requested things on the spot.

We used Corelli Strings for our wedding in October and they were wonderful! Like others have said, Midori is quick to respond via email and is professional and courteous in all her communication. We got many compliments from our guests on the ceremony music and everything turned out the way we had planned. They have a great selection of songs, both traditional and contemporary and are willing to learn news songs for a minimal fee. Out of the ceremony musicians we researched, Corelli was one of the most cost efficient. They don't overcharge, but their service is impeccable. Highly recommend to Bay Area brides/grooms who are looking for some tear-jerking and beautiful music for their wedding!

My husband and I recently got married in Golden Gate Park - when it came to ceremony music strings were the only thing that really made sense. After doing a little research we found Corelli Strings. We immediately booked their string trio and we couldn't have be any happier that we did!

First, they are a great value and they were very responsive and easy to work with. They have a HUGE selection of songs to choose from - traditional and modern! They even learned how to play a new Coldplay song for us!

After we picked our main ceremony songs I asked them to just fill in before and after the ceremony with whatever songs they see fit - they did an amazing job! All of the songs they picked fit the feel of our ceremony perfectly!

For anyone searching for a string trio or quartet, I strongly recommend Corelli Strings - you won't be disappointed!

A string trio of Corelli Strings played at our daughter's wedding in Stern Grove (August, 2018) and we were really happy with their music and their professionalism. Midori was very professional in dealing with my inquiry, the contracts, and the playlist. They have a very good list of classical and pop options, so there was no real need to get them to learn something that wasn't on their list (which they do if arranged 30 days in advance, which we were not). There was some concern that if the weather had been cold and foggy, as it was earlier in the week, that might have been a problem for the musicians, but luckily it was sunny and in the 60s, so no problem with having them outdoors for the arrival and ceremony (we moved them inside after that). I appreciated that on the wedding day, they knew exactly what to do and did it, it was easy for us to enjoy. I recommend them with enthusiasm.

I just used Corelli Strings for my outdoor wedding ceremony at a public park in SF. Booking online and then emailing with Midori was seamless and she always emailed back immediately to answer any questions. They have a great music selection that included newer songs, with a few on YouTube so you can actually hear them.

They are extremely reasonably priced at $240 for the string duo (+$40 booking fee) for 1 hour of play time. I booked them 1.5 months in advance. Everything suited our quick outdoor ceremony perfectly and they kept playing for the full hour, even while the chairs were being broken down and we were taking pictures (it was like they were going down with the Titanic, but we thought it was great!).

The only reason it's 4 stars and not 5 on the quality of service is because while the grooms parents were walking down the isle, they stopped playing for like 15 seconds and my fiance said it was really awkward. It was extremely windy so we don't know if their sheets got messed up or if this was a pause so they could loop the song (which we told them to do so the processional could go on the same song). Either way, it was the only issue we had.

Highly recommend!! Really appreciative to have found a company to accommodate our wedding!

Corelli Strings presented us with beautiful music for a fraction of the cost. As recent graduates and perhaps current students of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, their business is new. They didn't have a website or demo clips yet when we first found them on Craigslist. So they offered us a live demo at the Conservatory. It was hard to judge since they were missing a violin. Midori plays the violin and is the contact person; Gretchen plays cello. They played well together. Midori took a bit of time, but answered all my questions via email. The phone number is her cell number, I think. So when I call her about Corelli Strings she always seems a bit confused at first. But she was easy to talk to.

It was a bit of a risk of us to sign Corelli on without meeting all the members. Midori was not present on our wedding day (Gretchen was though). But the musicians that played at our ceremony and cocktail hour played beautifully, and much better than the live demo offered. Perhaps the number of musicians are expanding and you now have a choice of players.

Watching homemade video clips, we realized how beautiful the strings were. And definitely the cheapest offer we got! and we didn't have to sacrifice quality of music.
