Beautiful place

Beautiful Wedding!

My daughter had her wedding at the Coral house on June 4th. People are still calling me and raving about the food and fun they had. Laurie, Frank and Melissa were with us every step of the way, I was so impressed by their attentiveness and suggestions that I booked my daughters Bridal Shower Brunch there as well. My daughter wanted a Gilmore Girls Shower. Laurie and Frank nailed it!! The shower was amazing. I cried when I saw the room! I couldn't have planned it better myself!! As for the wedding- from the minute we entered the venue we were treated like royalty. The bridal suite was amazing. Our every need was attended to. The food and drinks were available as soon as we arrived. The ceremony by the lake was beautiful. The cocktail party on the Rooftop was stunning. We has so much food that most of our guests thought that was the dinner! I recommend you have the Peter's Clam Bar option at your cocktail hour. Another favorite was the Raynor's Chicken. The DJ was amazing. He was one of the house DJ's. I also recommend you use the house photographer. He was very unobtrusive allowing the Bride and Groom to enjoy their wedding. I really cannot find one thing to complain about. The maître d, wait staff and bartenders were all present making sure all guests were well taken care of. The room looked beautiful, the food was delicious and with Laurie, Frank and Melissa you do not need to hire a wedding planner. They walked us through the entire process and were always available to answer our questions. We will absolutely have another event at The Coral House!!

Loved our wedding!

My husband and I got married here in September 2021. We did a brunch wedding and it was everything we could’ve ever dreamed of. Laurie is an angel and was extremely helpful and reliable through every step of the planning process. The ceremony and reception rooms were set up beautifully, the food was great, and the staff was attentive and kind. Our guests all had a wonderful time, so did we! Thank you for everything you’ve done for us, Laurie (and the Coral House team!). We are so grateful and we will remember this day fondly forever.

Absolutely stunning venue

The coral house was an amazing venue to host our wedding day. It was absolutely stunning. Everyone we worked with from signing the contract to working the day of were a complete pleasure to work with. Staff was amazing and tended to all my needs. Every guest was in awe of how beautiful it was and how great the food was!!

Best in the business!

The warmth, attentiveness, and professional quality of the Coral House team are simply unmatched. Laurie, Nancy, and the rest of their staff were so sweet & wonderful to work with during my wedding and I had an amazing time along with my friends and family. The food & bar options were a hit! Many compliments to the catering staff. The premises are kept immaculate, with beautiful scenery and these GORGEOUS skylights and indoor lighting. Not to mention: a lake, gazebo, rooftop terrace, elevator, and all those little details that make your photographer happy. Definitely let Coral House know what you would like for your event and they will make your vision happen! Highly recommend for their professionalism, location and attention to details.

This was the best choice a person could make when choosing a venue for their wedding. The team here at the Coral House listened, understood and executed perfectly!!! I had no complaints!!! I definitely reccomend them when selecting a venue for not just Weddings, but Birthday parties, retirement or any formal gatherings!

Dealing with Laurie was an amazing experience. She took great care of us to assure our wedding reception was everything we wanted. The guests loved everything about the venue and their food was the talk of the night! My guests still talk about how great the food was. If my husband and I decide on renewing our vows in the future I would definitely come back!

I totally recommend having your wedding here if you want affordable luxury. Our wedding day was 8-18-17. We cannot thank the Coral House enough for making our wedding day the most beautiful day! I dreamed of having my wedding at the Coral House from a little girl and they surpassed my dream! I used the coral house for my wedding reception and ceremony. I could not have been happier with the service. From the moment my limo pulled up I was instantly taken care of and everything went better then I could have even hoped for. Xavier the server who helped us in the bridal suite and served my husband and I was amazing and so attentive! Elizabeth the maitre d' made sure everything went smoothly. Linda the banquet manager who helped us set up the event was always easy to get in touch with and made all of the planning simple. I would highly recommend the coral house for any events.

Had my wedding reception at Coral house this past weekend and it was beyond amazing. From the moment we met our banquet manager, Laurie E. we knew Coral house was the place for us. Laurie went above and beyond to accommodate our halal meats request, upgraded alcohol package, decoration requests, good humor cart, etc. She answered every e-mail and phone call promptly and efficiently and I made this process so much easier. Everything we wanted done was perfection. The day of the event the gentlemen at the door were so polite and helpful. Our matradee Jasmin was on point with everything. She was super woman that evening. She kept us informed on timing and scheduling, and was there every time I needed my dress bustled, she brought us food, and did everything without us asking. We had a buffet which had to much food selections our guests were amazed. Unfortunately my husband and I didn't get to eat as much as we wanted because we were busy with pictures and guests. But the little we had was delicious. Thank you Coral house, Laurie, Jasmin and staff for your outstanding work. You made our dreams come true. This place is a hidden gem. I would recommend this place to everyone. Best hall, staff, garden and lake in the back, best hall in NY and Long island

This place is absolutely amazing!! My best friend just got married, and I was one of the bridesmaids at her wedding. WOW. The bridal suite was to DIE for!!! It was so beautiful and so spacious, perfect for this occasion. The staff was absolutely attentive during the entire event, and made sure everyone had everything they needed and were having a good time, and were very friendly and personable as well. The food was absolutely amazing as well! We had tons of options to choose from from the menu. So fresh and has ton of flavor. The whole venue was also decorated spectacularly!! Her wedding looked flawless and everyone there was in awe of how amazing it turned out. I would totally recommend this place for any event you're throwing. Simply phenomenal!!!

My now Husband and I loved every min. of our wedding. The guest loved all the food and had a great time. We had a small wedding of about 65 guest. They Coral house employees were great super attentive and took great care of us and our vendors. I would def go back for future events.

5 stars are just not enough! I just had my wedding ceremony & reception at The Coral House and I am at a loss for words to describe how wonderful they were. From the very beginning when we first met with our awesome banquet manager Laurie last year up until the very last minute, they catered to our every need. The day of, my Maitre'D Veronica and bridal attendant Jasmine were nothing short of amazing! Everywhere I was, there they were with huge smiles, checking up on me, asking whether I needed anything and making sure that everything ran smoothly. The outside grounds made for a breathtaking scenery for the ceremony and EVERYONE has been reaching out to us commenting on how great the food was! I am so glad we chose Coral House as our wedding venue!

Absolutely loved my wedding! Not only was the food excellent, I got great comments from my guests. They were all extremely happy and are planning events at coral house I'm the near future. We had our wedding reception at the Coral House in April 2014 and we couldn’t have been happier! The staff and management provided us with the most wonderful experience. Frank, our coordinator, assisted us with his expertise through every step of the way. We also worked with Nicole the week before our wedding and she was able to alleviate our stress with some last minute details. From the moment we arrived at our reception, and throughout our day, the staff and management made everything perfect. Victoria, our Maitre d’ was attentive and accommodating, and made us feel comfortable in every way. Raquel and the banquet staff were courteous and professional and helped everything to run smoothly, and the food was top notch. We were fortunate enough to have time to attend our cocktail hour and were able to enjoy the various dishes we chose. The lobster tacos were amazing! Several of our guests commented to us how delicious their meals were, and continue to tell us to this day what a beautiful venue it was and what a great time they had at our wedding. The Coral House exceeded our highest expectations and provided the beautiful wedding we had dreamed of.

Get the point yet??? I absolutely loved our venue. This was the only place my wife ever had in mind so I went along with what she wanted. In the long run boy was she on point. We booked October 2013 and from then up to our wedding they made upgrades to the room that made a world of a difference. Coral House is just so beautiful, my guests still talk about how gorgeous everything was. Our Coordinator was Frank Esposito. He was upfront and real. He understood the type of wedding we wanted and didn’t pressure us into doing anything different just to make a profit. The man also must have the patience of a saint, because if we weren’t calling him to ask a question, we would just show up and we were never turned away. No question or request was ever too big or too small. Andrew was our Maitre D’ and he and the rest of the wait staff were amazing. Andrew made sure everything ran smoothly and with such a wonderful attitude. He was so pleasant, professional – just all around great. I really cannot praise the staff at the Coral House enough.

The Coral house staff and venue were amazing for our Wedding. We had the ceremony outdoors and reception in the Nantucket Deck. Closer to the ceremony we were threatened with rain and the staff was accomodating and able to pull off the ceremony outdoors but was prepared if the weather gods blessed us with rain.

During the year of planning, Nicole Cantanzaro was amazingly responsive to our questions day or night and pleasant to work with. The Coral House served great food (delicious) and our guests all raved about the staff and beautiful venue. We have no regrets with choosing the Coral House and they've given us and our guest lots of happy memories with no regrets!

What can I say about the coral house. PHENOMENAL. Linda Hunt is such an amazing banquet manager. She kept it real and she was so accommodating and helpful. She is the sweetest most helpful person. I loved her to death. My wedding was suppose to be held outside on the lake but there were tornado's that day. Yes tornado's, Sept. 8, 2012. I was like really...Anyway, Linda called and she was like Lizz did you see the weather????what do you want to do. She gave me some time to think about it and talk it over with my fiance, not yet my husband. I called her and told her lets do it inside and she did. She made it happen. She hooked up the reception room and made it beautiful. My ceremony was awesome my reception was awesome cocktail hour was awesome. The food was scrumptious. Every one went on and on about the food and not for anything YUM...Tina my person was on the money. She was there taking care of me and doing things. They just pulled everything together. it was a great day, great time and great people. The coral house is definitely the place to have your wedding. Not only is it beautiful, the team there is awesome. You need to go see Linda Hunt. She is fabulous and she knows what you want before you know what you want. She is in tune with you. She is some one that touches your heart and really gets to know you. I actually miss her. She is awesome. Thank you Linda and Tina for making our wedding so memorable. we love you guys.

Coral House in Baldwin, Long Island did an outstanding job hosting my wedding. The price was awesome for all the services they provided. My guests absolutely raved over our wedding and some said it was one of the best weddings they had ever attended. The service was outstanding and the food was equally outstanding. On the day of the wedding I was assisted by my own personal Bridal attendant who was very attentive. My wedding was as close to perfect as it could have been. I was extremely pleased with Coral House.

My guests cannot stop talking about the food at the reception, or the open bar! Everything tasted so good. I loved the reception hall, decorations and lighting. The dance floor was big, it fit all my guests and I had a large crowd. Linda (the consultant) was really great to work with, the maitre d' was great too. Most importantly, their prices are reasonable.

Whether it was Coral House from the very beginning being like a 2nd family to us, or Butch and Mike coming in a week before like David Tutura and adding the Glam factor to our wedding or the great staff at Coral house that made our guests feel like royalty, Tina, Jarrett, Frank and especially Laurie will always be family to us....There commitment to our love and happiness was beyond a vendor/couple relationship....we felt like we knew them all our lives! Everyone wants to take Jarrett home with them, Laurie dressed in the theme for the night and Frank makes the best Wedding cake drink!!!!!!!! The food, drinks, hospitality, service, everything was AMAZING!!!! You guys went above and beyond of anything we could have asked for and we are so thankful to you. Mu husband and I had our wedding (ceremony and reception) at the Coral House last month. We were very happy with our choice. Our event planner Laurie really went out of her way to accommodate some last minute needs from our guests who had traveled to be with us. The day went smoothly, the rooms were nice, and the staff was very helpful and polite. We're happy that we chose the Coral House for our big day. I would definitely recommend it to our friends.

The Coral House provide me with excellent service that enhanced the ambiance of my event. The reception was held in the Americana Room. The packages available gave me many wonderful options to plan and elegant affair.

I must say that the Coral House did an excellent job handling our wedding and reception. The food was wonderful and plentiful. The ceremony was held outside by the lake on a gorgeous Sunday morning and everything was absolutely perfect. The facility is kept very clean, the bathrooms are nice and they have a very nice bridal suite equipped with a large flat screen TV and leather couches. It is worth the splurge if you get the Vienesse table which had a variety of selections and even an ice cream cart which was a big hit. The staff was very pleasant and tended to our every need. The constantly made sure we had everything we needed and could always be found. Linda and Frank were very professional during the process and we received a great rate. I could not have asked for a better venue. Even though other events were going on I still felt like we were well taken care of during our ceremony and reception. The Coral House is a very professional and organized venue.

After having been to 5 weddings in 3 years at this place including my sister's, I did not want my wedding here b/c I didn't want everyone comparing weddings. My sister made me go look just to see what they had to offer. We booked it that day. We had Kristin as our banquet manager and she was just amazing. The food was spectacular, the rooms were absolutely gorgeous. Our cocktail hour was in the downstairs room and there was so much food that some of our guests didn't think there was going to be food in the main room. Everyone loved ALL 700 of the shrimp set up in the big boat. Our bridal suite was the Presidential Suite which gave us and our bridal party more than enough room to eat, relax and take a few photos before the reception. The reception was in the Americana room. They say they can hold up to 400. We had 200 and there was more than enough room for everyone to move through out the tables and on the dance floor. I have been there for a wedding where they had 350 and that was a little tight but still ok. I wanted to surprise my new husband with an arch of hockey sticks and Kristin said if we supplied them they would handle it. They made sure my husband didn't see a thing until we walked in that door. The waiters, waitresses & bartenders were exceptional. Also, a very big deal for the bride & groom, they packed up 2 meals, silverware & dessert for my husband and I to take to the hotel room after the reception. That was just so wonderful b/c no matter what there is never enough time for the bride & groom to eat enough. We also had a couple of no show guests and they boxed up those meals too. If I had to do it all over again, I would gladly have my wedding reception @ the Coral House. I tell everyone I know that they have to go look here when they are planning their weddings.

The Coral House was an excellent venue. The grounds provide wonderful settings for pictures-even on a cloudy November day! The food was great, and the staff very professional and helpful.

Immediately after being engaged I began planning. Not sure where I wanted to have our reception, I sought help from my girlfriends. She referred us to the Coral House. At our first meeting with Kristen, we knew that was the place for use. She over extended herself and was very patient with our changes and budget. She worked with us, which other venues were not as flexible with the menu. Our guests still rave about the place and I refer anyone I know to the Coral House. All staff was great that day and every meeting we had with them. They provided the food tasting the same day of our meeting! All I have to say is WOW! My husband is a vegetarian and they were able to provide him with something to taste. I was able to store my decor set up a day before the wedding, etc. They were just awesome. The food - needless to say we heard Cocktail Hour was stupendous. Just visit with them and you would be sold too.

The staff were very attentive to the details. The guests told us that the cocktail hour food was excellent. We hand Italian hot buffet and a Hispanic serving stations. They offered us another room for our ceremony because of the weather separate from the cocktail and reception.

They were very acommadating for the entire event. The day of our wedding they had everything under control. The decorations were beautiful and the food very great. I could not of had a better day.

Wonderful place.... amazing people and 5 star food!!!!! We had a small budget and made the best of every penny we had and got back more than we expected! I truly enjoyed my wedding day without worrying about the cocktail hour, the cake, the guest list, seating chart and much much more!!!

Had my wedding at the Coral House in Feb. 2006. From the first day we visited the hall up to and including our event the staff was AMAZING! They even suggested the date and time for us because it would be the least expensive on our limited budget! There suggestion probably saved us thousands of dollars! They were not concerned with money, but rather our happiness! The wedding ceremony was beautiful, the room elegant and classy, and the food was outstanding!
I recommend The Coral House to everyone I know.

They worked hard to make my event beautiful and successful. I loved the venue - they upgraded my room and included uplighting on all the windows. The food was outstanding and the chocolate fountain knocked our guests socks off!

Everything was wonderful..BEAUTIFUL surroundings, professional staff. Laurie our coordinator was professional, flexible and sweet.
ONE fluke did not like our wedding cake it was dry and not tasty the only disappointment to my magical day.

When I first looked into wedding venues , the reason Coral House stuck out was because I didn't feel like I was being sold a used car. They were upfront with all costs , and also at my request allowed us to have a tasting before we signed any contracts. The venue was in the process of major renovations which was also a plus, since I knew they would be updating the location. Dealing with Frank was a walk in the park. (SIKE) ! LOL Frank has a personality only a mother could love , but I genuinely enjoyed him as our banquet manager, any questions or concerns I had he always called me right back with answers. Fast Forward to 2 weeks ago, I made the mistake of reading some of the recent reviews and became so frightened that I had picked the wrong venue and would have a horrible wedding! Well let me tell you , my wedding was this past Sat, and I couldn't have asked for more. My Maître d' Vicki was equally amazing, she was always attentive to our needs throughout the night. The guests raved about the food and how great the place looked. So thank you Coral House, for proving me wrong and hosting an amazing wedding for myself and my husband !

The Coral House has made my dreams about my wedding come true. From the moment I walked in I know that this is where I was going to have my wedding. They helped accomodate me with everything I needed. As far as extras go, Dream Event Planning and Adam had everything possibly imaginable for any party there. I did not have to go anywhere else to get anything else, they did whatever I needed. My wedding was amazing, and suggest any bride to be to book their wedding here.

Got married at the Coral House last month and can't say anything negative about the experience. While our cocktail hour had to be moved indoors instead of the roof (it was way too hot), the staff did everything in they could to make our event go amazingly well. Food, desert, and service were all top notch!

Long Island is often ridiculously gaudy with its weddings, and my fiance and I thought it was hilarious when we checked out different venues and were serenaded by slick salespeople about how many ice sculptures we would get at their overpriced catering hall. The Coral House never once made us feel like we had to spend our money on silly extras that we didn't want. We got the exact wedding we wanted, and it was all thanks to the staff, who earned every penny.

The fact that a few of our friends who were at the wedding who are getting married soon are now considering having their reception at the Coral House is a testament to how wonderful everything was.

Wow what a transformation since 2005. I got married Feb 20,2005 and it was good then but i cant believe how much better it is today. The place looks completely different from head to toe and the Food is outstanding. What incredible time and i was so happy with the transformation!! Simply incredible and Definitely a 5 star!!

I had my wedding there and left very satisfied. The hall is beautiful. The staff is extremely friendly and accomodating. We met with two managers and they were very helpful in all aspects of planning the wedding. Julie, the matre'd was with us every step of the way and was very pleasant. Our personal waiter, JT was one of the nicest and attentive people I have ever met. The food is delicious. We planned to have our ceremony outside by the lake and it started raining. They moved everything inside in no time and even turned on the fireplace for a more cozy atmosphere. They helped us pick the officiant and plan the ceremony as well. They subcontract their own officiants, making the prices much lower than usual. The food was absolutely delicious and seconds were available at no extra charge. They threw in table and chair covers which are normally not free and gave us additional discounts, besides the fact that their prices are already lower than all the other places we looked at. Once again, for the price we paid, they really outdid themselves!

Great experience

We loved having our event at the Coral House. From start to finish I feel like we had a wonderful experience. Our event manager that we worked with was Laurie and she had great communication with us. I sent her frequent emails with random questions and occassionaly there was some delay in reply but as busy as they are, that is to be expected. For the most part, the replies were pretty fast. She answered all our questions in detail and we were allowed to view the facility several times with no issues. We did a food tasting prior to booking and not only was the tasting enjoyable but the food was amazing. We have received several compliments after the wedding as well as to how good the food was.
Our day of maire'd/coordinator was Jennifer and she was wonderful. There were a few hiccups with some of our decorations/vendors and JEnnifer was quick to help us figure out how to fix things and she was great about timing and keeping us on track. She was exactly what I needed that day to calm me down and make the day perfect. We had an open bar and the bartender was wonderful as well and the drinks tasted great.
This venue is great as they have multiple rooms to accommodate various party sizes. Originally we started out in the smallest room but then actually held our party in the next larger room and it was perfect. We had to have the ceremony indoors due to weather and they switched the room up without a glitch. I would very much recommend this venue.

I used to go here for dinners when i was a kid, and was a bit apprehensive at first about having my wedding here - the food used to be not quite so good. But they changed ownership in the last few years - and it is for the better by FAR. the food was absolutely amazing - from appetizers to the entrees to dessert, everything was unbelievably marvelous. Laurie, our manager, was very helpful and Diane, our Matre'D, was so wonderful to us, making sure everything was coordinated and we had everything we needed all day. i ended up going a bit over my original budget, and we couldnt do anything about last-minute guest cancellations (except rework the tables), but the courteous staff and flexibility to set up the rooms to our liking, and work with vendors far exceeded my expectations. I'd highly recommend the "new" coral house to anyone looking for a "fancy" wedding but is working on a budget.

The Coral House is such a beautiful venue! We got married outside by the lake and had our reception in the Americana room. The staff was very friendly, organized and attentive. The food was very good! All of our guests raved about how good the food was. The wait staff was great too! They accommodated our guests with no issues and were very professional.

The wedding turned out really wonderful at the Coral House. My guests enjoyed the food. Our maître d' Nicole was was amazing. She made everything run smoothly. Frank was the one to help us with choosing everything beforehand. He was really nice but a bit too short with answers. For a first time bride spending her savings on one event one can be more forthcoming with answers about this important event. The event turned out great so I'm happy.

My newylywed husband and I had our wedding at the Coral House last month and I could not be happier with the our decision in doing so. I have nothing bad to say about our special day. The food was amazing and the staff was incredibly helpful.
Our guests and bridal party were extremely pleased with how they were treated and I am still so impressed with how me and my husband were treated leading up to the big day. The staff did everything they could and more to make sure our day was one to always remember, not only for us but also for our guests.
Their staff made us feel like family to them and it was more then the typical vendor/ customer relationship. Our day was made more special thanks to the care that we were given and we could not be happier.

I highly recommend the Coral House for not only a wedding, but any showers or upcoming parties. The food is amazing, they have such a variety of cool drinks to pick from for guests and everyone is treated like a special guest of honor. We thank the Coral House for all they did for us on our day and we look foward to using them again in the future.

The coral house was a unique yet quaint location to hold our reception. In the beginning of September, the lake was gorgeous and the view was great from the rooftop for the cocktail party, reception hall, and outside as well. Service was great and no complaints can be given.

First off the new ownership has done great things with the Property. We had a great time, the coral house staff was flexible with adding on more time, menu planning and Adam was great with the add- on and extras.
Linda our banquet manager was great from the moment we met, honest, open and straight forward and kept her promises. Tine was our head server and her team was great, coordinated and on point. Even learned they help warm up my cousin's baby bottle.
I must say they did an excellent job in giving up time to take picture prior and working with us to make sure the evening went perfect.
Food as per our guest was amazing and tons of food. Bar we had the top shelf liquor and beer and was well worth the extras.

We had our wedding last month at the Coral House. My family all said it was a great wedding! The food was really good. The staff there took really good care of me and my friends. Everything was really clean. Glad that was our choice.

We were offered a phenomenal deal. We booked our date when the old menu was available the year previous, and it changed a month before our wedding, so they allowed us to pick what ever we wanted off both menus and combine it for the same amount of money. Also we had a themed wedding (medieval) and they put up as many of the themed decorations that they could manage and made everything look great. Our girl who was in charge during the event was amazing, you didnt even know Erin was there unless you needed her she popped out of nowhere and handled everything and we had some last minute table changes and i said oh let me see if... and i didnt even have to finish the sentence she was right next to me asking me quietly what i wanted her to take care of... absolutely amazing.. i hope my dad gave her a huge tip she deserved it.. my dad wouldnt talk money with me..

The Coral House made my special day perfect for me. The staff was friendly and attentive. They had an inhouse entertainment department that also worked with me. They proved to me that they were doing everything to meet my needs. I highly recommend checking out this venue for any future brides.

When my husband & I first found the Coral House, we loved it. It didn’t feel so “typical wedding venue” to us and we knew we could change whatever we didn’t like and really make the rooms represent us. Linda was our coordinator that worked with us. Her personality is pretty difficult and each side of parents also felt she was very hard to work with at times. When she’s nice, she’s a delight…..when she’s not, she really loses all patience with people. We were planning from across the country so this was an already stressful situation to begin with and I feel like Linda forgot that. I said all along, I have never felt like a paying customer with her…not until the day of. She always put potential couples/events/parties before ours. Skip ahead… Everything did turn out beautiful. The rooms looked great, people absolutely raved about the food!
When I first came in, I was wearing a white shirt that said BRIDE and the greeter woman came at me with a bit of an attitude... "Why are you here? Who are you with??" I hope she was nicer to my guests!

In the set up, they did switch the table numbers around and unfortunately that mixed up the 2 sides and disrupted the flow. People ended up moving their seats entirely! ..but that's really the only thing that got lost in translation. I did notice a lot of white in the ceremony room and I was probably notorious for veto-ing anything white.... on the day of, I was so nervous and stressed out that I didn't say a word about it. There was no time.
Our maitre’d was Tina… I found her personality to be a tad abrasive. As she put it, her “style” is to rush the courses and get people out on the dancefloor. I did NOT like that. All the meals were a blur, I got 2 dishes at a time! I felt she should have been more on top of the DJ. He put off the special dances until the end of the night when most of the guests were already gone. He didn’t play our thank you song to the parents and we thought maybe Tina could help us and put him on more of a schedule so he could get it done before the night ended…when we went to her with our concerns, I also brought up the fact that he wasn’t going by the playlist and she said to me “We’re not worrying about 1 hour, 1 minute or 1 second ago. That’s in the past” and she totally dismissed me.....and nothing changed anyway! The DJ continued to screw up and leave things out.
I walked away and she honestly didn’t come back to us for the rest of the night!
The cake cutting was also confusing and resulted in some awkward moments. The DJ called us up to cut the cake...we stood around and waited.....then he sent us back to the cake table....then Tina and a waiter moved the cake table onto the dancefloor and we were called up there again.

In the end, CH really did put the rooms together nicely. Me going crazy from people isn’t their fault. They decorated the “lobby” area beautifully and had candles scattered all over. It was really romantic feeling. They also gave us 2 separate bridal suites to use. The food set up in the bridal suite was beyond OUTRAGEOUS! It was sooo much and sooo over the top, I couldn’t believe it. Our attendant Liz was constantly trying to keep up on our needs, she was fantastic.
My parents are tough people to impress and they loved the food. Everyone said there wasn't one thing that wasn't delicious!

Our wedding was perfect thanks to the staff at the Coral House. The guests loved the food, the banquet managers were friendly and helpful. They know their business well and were patient when I would call with questions. Our Bridal Attendant was on point and communicative. She was always there when she was needed. We chose the Coral House for our wedding because of the spacious Americana room, rooftop terrace, beautifully landscaped pond area, and the variety of food options available. We originally wanted to use the roof for cocktails, but we had to make a day-of weather call. Having the cocktails in the basement wasn't a bad option though because it had been newly updated, had comfy couches, and was close to the bathrooms and the bridal suite. In all, for being half the budget (as venue and food often are for weddings) it was the perfect choice.

We had our wedding in August 2013 and we had an amazing time. The people were easy to work with and so helpful on the day of. The food was delicious and the menu was flexible. The DJ was very good but he didn't play a good portion of what we picked out. But even still, everyone said it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and I can attest that they were not "just saying that." Thank you very much CH, you did a great job.

The only reason I didn't give them 5's in all categories was because we decided to use the package for the photography/videography that they offered and we were/are so disappointed with the service. Long story short, I hate looking at my pictures and I haven't even seen my video yet because it was given to me on a bluray disc and neither I nor anyone I know have a bluray player. I am glad my wedding planner Renita suggested this venue. The scenery, the food and staff were the best. There was another wedding at the same venue but no one really noticed that. The staff made sure everything went smoothly.

The Coral House was an economical and beautiful choice for our ceremony and reception. The food was excellent and they have so many options for cocktail hour, dinner, and extras. Kevin, our Maitre-d, was great, constantly checking in, making last-minute decisions based on our needs, and directing and inexperienced, confused bride and groom. We thought the Coral House was a great value for how many services they offered.

GREAT Staff!! They were all very nice and easy to work with. We enjoyed the food and got great feedback from friends and family. The price was right and had a nice view from the windows. Everything was on time and went smoothly.

Overall, the Coral house was great. The wedding was beautiful and the food was amazing. They made me really happy by allowing me to upgrade to a bigger and nicer room since nobody was using it, with no change in cost. My biggest complaint was that there was an issue with the center pieces, which were to be a part of my package. The coral House cut ties with the florist that provides them right around the time when I was trying to settle what flowers I want. Nobody communicated this to me which led to me running around to different people trying to figure out what was happening with my flowers. In the end, I used the florists upstairs from the coral house (Dream events), who definitely did not deliver what I paid for. That was a disappointment and I do not feel communication was up to par on the Coral House's part in that case.

I want to Rave about my Maitre d' Tina (T)
she was amazing! I dropped off 7 boxes filled with decor including chair sashes and my own napkins i wrote specific details for each table and i was so worried something would be wrong... however T had everything under control and everything looked perfect!! she busted her butt all night and again when my wedding was over packing everything!! shes amazing!!!

Now About Coral House... I had Shrimp in Shot Glasses on my passed food for CH and instead of Nice Big Shrimp in shot glasses i had small shrimp on spoons this totally pissed me off because the whole reason why i went for the shrimp was because of the look i also told some guests about it and felt stupid when that was not what came out.... another thing is i paid for pasteries PP to accompany chocolate covered strawberries and cookies and not one table had pasteries... i will say that when i called to complain after my wedding my bqt manager provided me with a box of pasteries and some cookies but the proncipal was i paid per person and it was on my menus and none of my guests got to enjoy them....

all in all the food was amazing and the service as well.. i would def book another event at the coral house!

One only gets 4.5 hours compared to other venues where they give you 5 hours.While we were wrapping up the staff was already clearing tables and preparing for the next event.
As per 95% of my guests, the food was great overall.
The bridal suite was very limited, not ideal for dressing ,only for hanging out with your bridal party. at least the one that we were assinged to.
My maitre d Kyle was the absolute best,very efficient and such a calm, nice demeanor.

Overall, I am happy that I booked with Coral House. Initially, I was nervous because of previous reviews, but I decided to book anyways. Prior to my wedding day, I had no issues with Coral House, but on the day there seemed to be a lot of miscommunication that had transpired. For one, Frank my banquet manager informed me that my cousin who was doing all the floral arrangements could come after 10:00am to set up the room. When she called that day, she was informed by someone else that she could not come until after 3pm. That is a huge time difference, and because of it my cousin was literally rushing to get the flowers set up until moments before the reception began. On the day of - the woman was assigned to my wedding. Her personality was a little too much for me, and I felt that she was more of a headache than a help. My family gave her the nickname of "drill sergeant"! I knew exactly what I wanted, how I wanted it and I feel that my wishes were not being respected, especially when she was trying to get me to start my wedding ceremony earlier due to drizzling. Had I listened to her, I would have been so disappointed because the actually held up for my ceremony and the ceremony following mine. She even made a point to mention to me that she had fed the vendors, which was unnecessary because that had already been discussed with Frank, and because we were under our quota of 100 by at least 20 people. Aside from that, everything was perfect - the food, the drink and the wait staff were awesome! I would recommend Coral House, but I would just make sure that times for set up are in writing and that you are clear about what you want. This place can be ran like a "Wedding Factory" but it doesn't have to be...

Great day, great food, and service. Except a broken glass for our thumbprint wedding tree picture frame. We didn't find out until end of night when we couldn't find it and questioned it.

The food and decor worked with our theme. We chose the Coral House because a family member had their wedding there and we loved it. However, we had a much different experience. Coral House's representative gave mediocre customer service throughout the planning process. However, the biggest complain was the Maitre De the day of the wedding. Her attitude was horrible and she was bossy, not accommodating and argumentative. She did not work well with our vendors and she was rude and nasty to our guests. She was not flexible and took time away from our wedding to argue with us about matters that were of no concern after she had taken care of them. She did very little to be helpful and she was not concerned with what we wanted but what she wanted to do. A different Maitre De might have made all the difference.

Disappointed

Food was excellent- waiters were excellent- banquet manager and maitre’d were not attentive- the runner was not available for the ceremony- it was there but it was not rolled out- no food in the bridal suite when we were told it would be there- before the ceremony! Very disappointed

Money was stolen from the bridal suite; attrndants were non responsive to requests for food and drinks in the suite (for wedding party) in between ceremony and reception. MC reported to be very unprofessional in the way she spoke around guests /members of the wedding party

Let me start by saying the Coral House has a nice setting & the place is beautiful. My issue was with the service the day of the event and the lack of clear communication that made my wedding day stressful. As part of my contract I was promised a bridal attendant for the day, along with a maitre dee, and 3 waitresses. Imagine my disappointment at not having a bridal attendant for the day. Also, I was told that vendors could arrive by 3:15 pm but they actually did not let them in until after 4pm to set-up for an event that was to start at 5pm. It felt like once my contract was signed and the money was paid, I was no longer relevant. I did not even get my silver chairs as promised for the reception or my napkin fold. Even when issues arrived the day of my wedding, my banquet/sales manager, Laurie was inaccessible. At the end of the night, staff (Nancy) threw our Mr & Mrs Crystal Champagne glasses in the same bag with the left over food. An obvious sign of not caring if they broke or not. On a positive note, my guests enjoyed the cocktail hour food and although the rain spoiled my outside ceremony the inside room for the wedding ceremony (the Americana) was beautiful. I used the Lakeside room for my reception and the Milburn room the for cocktail hour.

Staff was friendly..... The catering staff took forever to clear the dirty dishes, yet were eager to take our glasses half full of beverages. I had to ask the staff 3 times for a glass of water. Our table never got the plate of cookies the others got. All the other tables got coffee... I had to ask our server for coffee..... Never got creamer or sugar, nor offered any..... Sad thing is I was the maid of honor and the bridesmaids sat at my table.... Piss poor service.... I've worked in catering for years and been to several weddings.... Worst service ever!!!! It's not worth the money.....

Pros- everything was beautiful, they set up all of our items and the food was good. Cons- no one was there for our rehearsal so the set up was not what we thought, the outlet didn't work, the ceremony was late, the maitre'd was not attentive. My bridal party was rushed after waiting over 30 mins the were rushed to the ceremony area without warning. Leaving me alone in the suite. I requested she get my father my maid of honor had to get him as the maitre'd walked right passed him. We were not able to pictures outside as requested before the ceremony. Also we were told there weren't any other ceremonies outside b4 us and there were at least 2. Overall especially for the price I would not recommend The Coral House to anyone.

Horrible!! Avoid having your wedding here

Warning to any future bride and groom looking to get married, stay clear of the Coral House!! Just recently had my wedding here and it was absolutely just straight out disappointing. My family has used this venue in the past for weddings and it used to be good, but recently it has been absolutely horrible. As a bride you never want to think about your wedding day being anything but perfect, although unfortunately the coral house ruined my wedding day, so if you do not want yours ruined as well do not ever book with any of their locations!! To start off we arrived to the bridal suite and had to FIND the maitre d. He was no where to be found all night. I met him literally once and never saw him again the whole night. The bridal suite had no hot hors d'oeuvres like we payed for and the bathroom did not even have any paper towels or hand dryer. After asking the front desk and many other staff members multiple times for something (anything) to dry our hands with they finally brought down paper towels after cocktail hour already began. During cocktail hour myself and my husband asked several times if the AC could be raised because every guest was complaining and literally dripping in sweat. Needless to say the Ac was never raised throughout the night, even though we were told it was. Throughout the reception we were also told our bridal suite with all of our personal belongings was "closed" and that we were not allowed down stairs and could not access the suite. This was infuriating as all of our envelopes with cash were located in the bridal suite. When I asked why myself and my bridal party couldnt access the room we were simply told "it was closed off"... I was then told to use one of the main bathrooms that all the other guests were using. Try squeezing into a regular sized stalls with a ball room wedding gown on. During the reception once again we never saw the maître d' or bridal attendant all night. Our guests and photographer were actually serving myself and my husband drinks from the bar because they felt so bad that we never even got offered a drink. Towards the end of the night at one point I went up to the bar to get myself a drink and the bar tender had her head down buried in her phone and I actually had to say "hello" to get her attention. After asking for a drink I was very rudely served with an attitude. Lastly one of the things that truly upset me was at the end of the night when my husband and family were cleaning up the maître d' and every staff member stood in a corner and watched us clean everything up and haul everything out to our cars ourselves. Not once did they offer any assistance. I was lifting heavy rubbermaid boxes in a 3000 dollar wedding gown in the rain and not one staff member thought to offer any assistance. I will never be using this venue again, and if you don't want your wedding day ruined do not use them either !!!! After the wedding I contacted my banquet manager Laurie (who constantly purposely ignores calls) and was pretty much told "well your not getting any type of compensation". Although I was never looking for compensation anyway, I just wanted to express my sadness and disappointment in the locations service and the management was just as horrible as the staff. Management and the owners do not care about anything besides making money. It is truly devastating to spend thousands of dollars on your one special day and be treated so horribly!

Unfair business.

Very bad business practice. You know the world is going through a pandemic and you know that you cannot perform our wedding 9/26/20 because of the State mandate and people in fear of large gathering but you cannot return our deposit after we notified you that we not using your facility due to what i stated above. You are a thief and a crook. You are not the only one In need of money. I’m sure we are not the only one feels this way. People has legal rights and the state mandate and covid-19 is our backing.

I am going to post an in depth accurate review of my experience next week when I finally return home, but in the meantime - let me tell you that I personally felt that I was treated like garbage at my wedding, from the rude owner yelling at me and making me cry, to the matri'd man-handling one of our groomsmen, to getting kicked out of the bridal suite, to getting rushed out, hair in my aunts food, my bridesmaids missed 30 minutes of my wedding running around to find somewhere to put my stuff, cold dinners for my guests, not all my guests got the cake, my outside vendors being treated like garbage, the staff smacking my bridesmaid in the head with a chair and not apologizing, asking for water 6 times before the DJ finally saw me about to faint and brought it to me, dead plants or un grown plants by my altar, wrong ceremony decor, wrong cake filling, unclean linens that ruined my aunts dress (coral house has to pay to get it dry cleaned), guests complaining to me today that food was being taken away from them as they were still eating...

ladies, that is only the tip of the ice burg compared to how I felt treated by the owner. A bride should feel like a queen and I have spent the past 2 days in tears trying to bounce back.

only good things from Coral House from the perspective of this bride was the delicious salmon, new windows, nice new chair covers, and the cleaned up lake, (note: this is my personal opinion that they were treated bad, since the owner threaten to sue me while I sat outside crying hysterically in my wedding dress)

This is just a recap of my PERSONAL EXPERIENCE while at my wedding at the Coral House this past Saturday.

The rest of my vendors treated me like the princess that a bride should be treated like.

ALL BRIDES BEWARE!!!!!!!!! DO NOT USER THE CATERING HALL'S VENDORS, THEY TRY TO CONVINCE YOU TO USE THEM THAT THEY PREFER THEM BECAUSE THEY KNOW THE HALL BETTER, BUT THAT IS NONSENSE THEY ARE ONLY AFTER YOUR MONEY!!!! THESE VENDORS HAVE TO PAY THE HALL 20% FOR EVERY SALE MADE. I LEARNED MY LESSON THE HARD WAY. The coral house totally mislead us. Do not waste your hard earned money. Our event planner Nicole C. was vevy hard to deal with and was misleading. Before payin in full everything was good. At the event they would not put our party favors on the table. Management was very rude and unprofessional to myself and guest. They basically threw us out towards the end. The owner made racial remarks(we are indian), he said that he spit on people like us. Thats right how do you treat customers that support your business that way!! They severed us meat dishes that was not ordered and told my guest that it was vegetarian. I would NEVER go back there for any event nor would I recommend anyone.........Totally unsatisfied
