While beginning the hunt for a venue during 2020 and 2021, midst of pandemic but after vaccines were available, I continued to run into the issue of size and cost. For our small, 40-50 person wedding we needed an intimate space but one with enough leg room and charm to keep the crowd up. Coral Gables Museum was not only the perfect fit for our needs, but Jessalyn the event coordinator, was excellent in timely response, contract clarity, and recommendations. She was available to me when ever I had a question and continued to check in throughout the planning process. I always love folks with a great sense of humor and there was no shortage of wit with Jessalyn. The museum and staff were extremely accommodating for specs on the event and ensuring everything went properly. We met Jessalyn the morning of the wedding and started the set up of everything. She was there with us until midnight ensuring a smooth transition! We are grateful to her and the museum for allowing us to celebrate our union in style and look forward to continuing our visits to the Museum for years to come. -

We had the absolute pleasure of catering at the Coral Gables Museum, and we couldn't be more thrilled to share our 5-star experience. This historical gem is the heart of Coral Gables, and it's the perfect canvas for weddings and events that deserve nothing but the best. As a catering company, we've seen our fair share of venues, but the Coral Gables Museum is exceptional. Stepping into this venue feels like stepping back in time, with its classic concrete rock exterior. The grand entrance boasts beautifully exposed hardwood floors and lofty ceilings, setting the stage for an elegant affair.
The interior is just as impressive, with expansive rooms that house captivating collections. It's a delightful blend of classic and modern, providing the ideal backdrop for any event. The U-shaped building surrounds a charming outdoor courtyard with a vintage fountain, creating a picturesque setting for weddings and gatherings.

Dyron Sent on 12/09/2014The Coral Gables Museum is a beautiful location to have an event. I just had my wedding on November 14 and everything was beyond superb. The venue offers many different areas to hold your event. I booked both the inside room and the entire outside area. We hosted our ceremony on the outside courtyard then guests were escorted to the rooftop for the cocktail hour. After the cocktail hour, guests were escorted to the inside room. The inside room is pretty simple and plain, which was great for us since we hate ballroom looking rooms. We had the freedom to decorate as we pleased without having those typical ugly curtains or chandeliers in our way. The inside room has windows with a view to Aragon Street. We just had our lighting tech install up lights which created a gorgeous ambiance.
Christine Rupp was amazing. She is extremely nice and accommodating. We were able to do a contract and finalize all the details very quickly. The process is very simple and easy. We were able to do everything we wanted and more. We are both extremely happy we decided to host our wedding at the Coral Gables Museum.
