We booked Cooper's at the tasting. Our wedding planner suggested them and we're so glad she did. We had an outdoor farm wedding, so we needed everything and Cooper's delivered. Our guests are still talking about the food! Don't make the mistake I did and not try everything! The seafood stir fry went over big and the potato martini bar was a HUGE hit! The best part really, was working with Jan. From our first meeting we knew, she knew what she was doing. The day ran so smoothly and the entire staff were professional. Highly recommended! -
Cindy Sent on 07/06/2018Coopers provided the catering for my Son’s wedding Jun 30 2018. I would recommend Coopers Catering to family and friends. They are vey accommodating for personalized requirements. Jan was wonderful to work with planning and the staff and chefs on site for the wedding did a great job. We had an outdoor and barn party. They hand served appetizers in the outdoor area and family style dining for 137 people in the barn which included a chicken barbecue and pig roast. My guests complimented the food and service. We were so pleased. Be sure to call Coopers and you will be pleased too! Thank you Jan and team at Coopers!!!

Cooper’s was the very first place that we had a tasting and we knew right away that they would do our wedding. Jan and her team went above and beyond to stay in contact and help us throughout the wedding planning. They had a very friendly and hardworking wait staff. They made changes when needed and were so flexible to our wants and needs. All the food was amazing and they were amazing to work with! -

Cooper's did an overall great job with our wedding! They were very nice to work with, efficient and professional the entire time. Jan answered any and all questions promptly leading up to the day which was extremely helpful and appreciated!
The food was overall really good although we did have a few people complain about their steaks tasting like salisbury steaks which was disappointing when we thought everything was good- I had their chicken Florentine which was truly delicious!
We did have a few mishaps though which were unfortunate. They did forget (or it was most likely a miscommunication) to cut the bottom layer of our cake. We did have a whole other cake to cut and serve for our guests which they handled no problem but we ended up having our whole 2 layer cake to try and take home and eat ourselves plus I'm not sure everyone got cake before they ran out because the bottom layer was supposed to be part of the count for everyone to get cake.
Another issue is that I was told flatware was included with our package even if we were providing disposable plates (which we were) then they told me the day of our wedding that they didn't bring any and were told I was bringing disposables. So they ran out and got us disposables but we had multiple people complain they were breaking as they cut their food which was not only disappointing but embarrassing and aggravating since we were supposed to have actual flatware. We had brought salad plates but I was told no one could find them so there were also no salad plates for our dinner hour which a few people complained about (I found them in a box when we were packing up so this must've been an oversight).
Also for whatever reason they only served 2 of our signature drinks during cocktail hour (in addition to wine and beer) and left the other 2 we were told to pre-make behind the main bar. I'm not sure why they didn't serve all 4 and I had guests complain that they asked for ones that weren't available from our drinks menu since they were told those would be available from dinner and on.
Overall though the entire staff that day was incredibly friendly and handled any mishaps very well. They were professional and so nice to everyone which to me goes a long way. And they're fairly well priced especially compared to other caterers I'd say which was good since we had a budget. They were flexible with their packages as well which was awesome since we wanted them to cut our cake rather than have their pastry table and wanted some hors de hourves from a different package. I would just say there must've been some miscommunications and having some clarification would've prevented these issues in my opinion because otherwise they seemed to be on top of set up, serving, etc. They also let us keep all of our leftover food, they packaged it up for us and everything which was so nice and not wasteful which was a plus to us! We really did like working with them, I would just say to double check everything to prevent similar misunderstandings for your own event.
