Brennan and Cooper Union were the defining feature of our wedding (other than our love, of course). Cooper Union is not a wedding band, they are a full-scale production extravaganza. Motown, pop, soul, rock & roll—they do it all and they’re doing it WELL. The sound is BIG. I’m glad we got the full band—3 vocalists, full horns section (literally could not imagine going without). Aside from his incredible on-stage presence, Brennan was an absolute dream to work with — personable, kind, funny, and passionate. I felt like we were old friends from the moment we first spoke on the phone. Cooper Union made our wedding unforgettable. I am not exaggerating when I say I danced the whole time. They even covered an electronic song to perfection for our first dance. If you’re like me, and wedding planning is not your favorite, and you want to tick a box off the list, look no further—you can’t go wrong. Best decision you will make. -

Cooper Union was the life of the party! We are beyond grateful to have found Brennan to work with and that he was willing to travel to NY for our wedding in the Hudson Valley. Music was important to us and Cooper Union absolutely delivered, and exceeded expectations. We had ceremony, cocktail hour and reception music all included. The band was able to learn and play all of the songs for first dances and parent dances. We had a few phone calls to talk out our music taste and the set list they put together was right up our alley. We have not heard the end of the compliments from guests and other vendors about how awesome the band was. Our only wish is that we had more than just a few hours to spend dancing and partying with the band! Would recommend booking to any and every couple. Thank you so much!! -

Cooper union band was easily one of the highlights of our wedding. The energy they set throughout the night was electrifying and not once was the dance floor lacking bodies. They did an amazing job curating their set list to our musical style without us having to worry about the flow of the night. They were one of the most talked about aspect of the party by many of our guests. We cannot recommend them enough! -

Cooper Union was the absolute BEST wedding band I have ever seen at a wedding (yes, I may be a little biased as it was my wedding, but this is also what all my friends and fam said as well!). Brennan played and sang several songs on the piano for the ceremony, and it really made the ceremony special. He took our special requests, singing everything from The Grateful Dead, to Jack Johnson, to John Legend. His voice is absolutely incredible. And he did all this in 45 degree weather, mind you! We had a 6-piece band for the reception, and our guests absolutely loved them! Everyone was dancing the entire time, and we had an absolute blast! They sounded amazing and had tons of energy (despite the freezing cold). I would definitely recommend that you book them for your wedding! I knew I wanted a live band for my wedding, and Cooper Union exceeded my expectations. -

The Cooper Union Band completely shattered our expectations! Brennan was our point of contact and was extremely responsive to our requests. We selected the 8 piece band with both a male and female vocalist. Their playlist was phenomenal and showcased music from the past 40 years! They even played a set with autotune which definitely got everyone dancing. Their performance was nothing short of fantastic. Whenever my wife and I think about our wedding day, their music is one of the first things that comes to mind. You will not regret choosing them for your wedding! -

Incredible night!!!
Cooper Union helped us celebrate the best day of our lives on November 26, 2022! Our guests raved about how awesome the band was both during and well after our wedding. Brennan's voice is as smooth as butter and Kia hitting all the high notes in "Respect" brought down the house. Not only is the band incredibly talented, but they are genuinely nice people who have a good time performing together. They accommodated all of our requests, and we had MANY including Sam Cooke, Frank Sinatra, Bob Dylan, and more (they play all the newer music too!). On top of it all, Brennan helped me surprise my wife with a private last dance to "River" by Leon Bridges. Brennan kept it a secret up to the last second and made the moment so so special for us both. Needless to say, tears of joy were flowing! Not only were they a fabulous musical group, but they seamlessly MC'd the reception including speeches, cake cutting, and pouring of the champagne tower. We livestreamed the ceremony and they let us use their mics -- the sound quality was crisp and allowed our grandmothers to hear every word of our vows. Their ability to provide a string quartet for the ceremony added a truly elegant touch and provided our guests with live music from beginning to end. With so many bands out there to consider, we could not be any happier with our choice to hire Cooper Union!! -

They were so fabulous and withstood extreme heat. My dad and uncle even sat in for 2 songs which was the sweetest touch to our special day. -

I need more characters to provide an accurate review. These folks are PHENOMENAL! They had everyone on the dance floor, from kids to friends to parents to 85 year old grandparents! If I had to do it again, they would be the first vendor I booked! -

Simply could not have asked for a more perfect band for our wedding. They were SO easy to work with ahead of time: super accessible, friendly, and knowledgeable. But nothing could have prepared us for how much they would truly deliver day-of. Their performance kept people on the dance floor the whole time, and they just are so insanely talented. They sounded amazing from beginning to end. We are still getting compliments about it from guests-- one of them told us she wants to fly them to Europe for her wedding she was so impressed! You get the idea: we loved them. -

The most amazing night.
I can not imagine my wedding night without having Cooper Union Band there. I cannot express enough what an amazing time was had by EVERYONE! We gave them a few genres to play from and they did not disappoint. Not even in the slightest. The vibe was amazing and the TALENT WAS BEYOND. I still cant believe the level of talent that was there that night. The vocalists, the horns, the percussion, keys... EVERYONE was spectacular. They were having such good time performing! The energy was contagious. Our friends came from all over the country and they kept going ON & ON about how amazing the band was ... even WELL beyond our wedding day we were getting comments. I highly recommend anyone looking to hire entertainment for their event to choose Cooper Union Band! -

Cooper Union playing at my wedding truly tied everything together. They are so talented and made the ambience of the entire day so romantic! Everyone could not stop raving about how incredible they were. They are so versatile and accommodated all of my requests. On top of that, they really know how to get everyone on the dance floor and start a party! I cannot recommend them enough - the most talented musicians in Memphis!
